Personally I use it because a "journalist" who is a very vocal buddie fan used it in her latest article and it was just super ridiculous, unserious, and unprofessional. Which is how I look at buddie stans and their silly takes.

I don't see the difference between calling them BoBs, bestie, worstie and other such names. Especially seeing as they continue to call our ship b*mmy and Tommy a thousand different derogatory names.

I absolutely do not understand why certain people are using the term "Bestie Boos" as almost a derogatory slur lately. First of, I haven't seen Buddie shippers claiming that term for Buddie, but even if some of them did, in context of the article where it was mentioned, it's clearly platonic.

I personally found the term cute and perfectly benign; it's giving JD & Turk vibes, and it expresses exactly what we Bucktommy shippers should NOT be opposed to: viewing Buck and Eddie as a platonic relationship, as besties who love each other deeply without it having to have any homoerotic aspects.

(Mind you, we also should not be opposed to people still shipping Buddie without being toxic about it, or multishippers, or buddietommy shippers. Ship and let ship. It's the other side that can't do it, let's not sink to the same stupid, petty levels!)

Why the heck take issue with that? We do not need to play by the rules of the toxic BoBs and put everything down that isn't our ship. We can appreciate what is very much established in canon and goes nicely alongside with our romantic ship.

Anyway, fuck the police (i.e. people who spread negativity in any direction when it's uncalled for!). I'm gonna start using "Buddie Bestie Boos" as unironic tag now for platonic Buddie.

However, I went out with my cousin and her roommate yesterday for drinks, and we were talking about the insane shift in fandom after episode 5. Anyway, my cousin's roommate mentioned that some of the crew follow/check @911whatsyourgratitude (mostly on Instagram), and they actually share the posts with other cast and crew.

I told my cousin she'd never told me that and this bitch (affectionate) laughed and said she thought I knew.

What I'm saying is, if you have something nice to say, go to their page and send an ask because it's a good bet they'll see it!

There's only 1 day left of hiatus and I just wanted to thank you all for accepting me and I'm glad I could bring a bit of fun to the bucktommy side.

For your anon looking for a blocklist- literally just look up hunybody, scroll until you find a repulsive take (it won’t take long), and block every body who interacts with it. Also go into the “Anti Tommy Kinard” tag and block everybody. Preventive self care 🥰. From there they still pop up like whackamole sometimes, but pruning the tree like this helps a lot!
