servamp spoiler about mahiru’s secret:

now that i’m thinking about it, it’s kinda crazy that akira pulled off mahiru’s revival is it not? it took villages to revive the servamps and they still didn’t turn out human so how did mahiru come back as a human with the price being just akira? am i missing something?

like the more i think about it the more i feel like its such a shame that this was revealed at the very end of the series + it’s used for mahiru to briefly fall back on the “it should be me” trope that he had gotten over with in london. i genuinely think the tooru cliffhanger was unnecessary. tanaka shouldve let him tell mahiru, have the call come immediately after the reveal, it gets forgotten in the midst of confronting tsubaki, the whole london shenanigan happens, he reveals that he doesn’t mind being the sacrifice because he’s died once, him and kuro can bond over their fucked up reincarnation and boom the story moves on

this way the reveal could’ve been a little more impactful and could’ve been an even angstier reason to mahiru’s self sabotage

i remember there were some theories floating around that he’s a phoenix or had some ties to saint germain and stuff but that all went down. had the secret been revealed earlier in the story we could’ve gotten so much more background about mahiru and akira, i was so hyped for her and her relationship w touma. the last time mahiru went thru major character development is the london arc and he’s the mc for gods sake ���

i want to preface this by saying i absolutely love this series and i have been loyally reading the raws the day they come out every single month for the past 5 years, but i think servamp fell off after c3 arc and then got better for a little bit in london arc🫣 obviously i am very kuromahi pilled so this is a very biased !opinion!

and yall, ik this is going to make me look stupid asl but i genuinely don’t understand mikuni’s obsession with misono. i swear i read those chapters like 5 times but my brain just can’t comprehend it. maybe i should try reading the english translations for once because clearly im not understanding the japanese version

anyways i hope tanaka sensei takes a nice break now that she finished this decade long series. maybe she has another manga series in mind, i wouldn’t mind her going back to her bl roots either (if anyone knows where i can find all of them please tell me, i found some a couple of year ago under her other name tanaka ball but only snippets so pls help a girly out 🙏) oh and idk how well known this is in the fandom but tanaka sensei is a fan of kagerou project and has drawn a couple of oneshots for anthologies in which a certain character acts and is drawn like a certain blondie, which i think some of you crazy fans might appreciate

In light of recent anons,can we get a ramble on Tsurumahi or Mahikuni?

DO YOU KNOW THAT IN THE HALLOWEEN EVENT TSURUGI OFFERED TO KISS MAHIRU AS PAYMENT FOR HIS COOKIES

also in high school au drama cd Mikuni kabedon Mahiru and calls himself the White Prince which sounds really funny in english

anyway back before i know how servamp would end the scenario i came up with for mahiru to get together with chuuni3 is by making him so lonely because tooru is still hospitalized and sakuya is busy helping rebuild melancholy's community making him desperately go after tsurugi and friends

but now that we know the melancholies literally hang out at the shirota apartment that's a bust

if anything, tsurugi will be the one to develop feelings for mahiru and confesses first, which is INCREDIBLY flattering for mahiru but also incredibly irresponsible of tsurugi

kuro wouldn't see anything wrong with it but tsubaki would talk mahiru out of accepting the confession because surprisingly he's levelheaded about stuff like this. so mahiru will ask tsurugi if he can wait for mahiru to reach adulthood and it's basically a reverse toumakira situation

Just some random Touma & Mikuni thoughts that my brain has been chewing on

I hadn't mulled over it much until now, but --

In the mirror world, Jun and Yumi refer to Touma as "director" instead of "assistant director," which implies that not only is he still their boss, he might even be the head of the company this time around.

Meanwhile, Mikuni is getting ready to join and take over the family business, which likely means he's stepping into the role Mikado used to fill in the previous world, including doing a lot of business within C3.

Assuming C3 functions in the mirror world the same way it functioned in the previous world, this would probably mean that Mikuni and Touma actually have to interact with each other frequently -- and honestly, that's hilarious.

I mean, these two absolutely hated each other. Mikuni obviously had reasons not to like Touma, since he was basically trying to do the same thing that Mikuni is currently doing -- use Tsurugi to create the ninth Servamp. And Touma once tried to shoot Mahiru for even mentioning Mikuni's name that one time in the basement of C3, so it's not much of a stretch to say the feelings were mutual.

Yet in the mirror world, Touma (presumably) doesn't realize that things are different -- but Mikuni absolutely knows, considering he's the one causing the world to change over and over again while trying to bring Misono back into existence. And now I can't stop thinking about the idea of Touma and Mikuni having a normal business relationship (WITH TSURUGI ON MIKUNI'S SHOULDER THE WHOLE TIME TOO, AND TOUMA DOESN'T EVEN KNOW WHO TSURUGI IS IN THIS VERSION OF THE WORLD. MIKUNI YOU'RE SO MESSED UP.)

Obviously, I can only speculate about a lot of this stuff, since it isn't confirmed yet -- we have no clue how many details Mikuni changed while altering the timeline. Maybe he and Touma don't even know each other in this world. Who knows.

All I know for sure is -- I so desperately want to see Mikuni interacting normally with Touma and Mahiru, all the while knowing this isn't how things used to be. Like a private little gloating party in his twisted head. I love how completely messed up it all sounds.

Since my blog is looking a little empty for writing content, have an Erased fic I wrote a while ago~ It took 3 30 minute sessions with a buddy to finish, but tbh? It is actually pretty nice to have that ‘oh shit, I need to finish this now because this person is holding me accountable within this time frame’ vibe xD

We went with the prompt: “If you were logical, you would have killed me already.”

Title: Absent Fandom: BokuMachi Rating: T for Teens xD Characters: Satoru, Yashiro Summary: Satoru arrives home before his mother on that fateful day. (And one small change can often lead to drastic consequences.) Warnings: Canon-typical violence. Allusions to kidnap and murder.  Notes: Vague Yashiro/Satoru if you want to take it that way. Also, as I told Jen, ‘open ended af’~ Sorry, guys, I have a thing for Politician!Yashiro.

"Sensei," the hollowness in his own voice surprises him, but he turns and locks eyes with the man, because he wants to know, "what are you using to fill up that missing something?"

"Yashiro ... sensei?"

It doesn't sink in right away. It washes over him like a cold breath of air, slowly chilling him to the bone. It's been years since he's seen that face. Years that piled on the wrinkles and laughing lines to a once familiar face, but he can still see the man he used to know beneath it all. In the way his hair falls, disheveled, from where it was once slicked back. The motion of lunging forward, of pushing him down, makes the other's orderly appearance into something whirlwind.

"Satoru." On the other hand, there is nothing but recognition in the eyes that stare him down. A glaring red haunting him even as he turns his head and blinks. "Why are you here?"

He wants to laugh. Of all the things to be asked, he is sure that one is obvious. "I live here. I think the better question is: what are you doing here, Yashiro-sensei?"

There is a moment of tense silence as Yashiro struggles to keep him pinned down, shifting his weight to make escape something futile. Something that has no meaning here in the secluded apartment space, doors shut and locked tight. The man takes his time with a reply, even longer than should be necessary, twisting a strand of his captive's hair around his finger and grinning. "I thought your mother would be home," he says sweetly, in a recognizable way. In a tone that should have been reserved for nothing short of a trusted teacher.

Yashiro lets his words sink, bends down closer, and speaks right into a willing ear, "My, what a naughty boy you are, coming home early like this."

It's then that he recognizes the threat in the man's other hand as it creeps closer, a gleaming silver that flirts with each bob of his throat and teases a line of red against his too pale skin. It's been weeks since he's been outside, out in the sunshine, and now he's starting regret not taking that opportunity. It's beginning to look more and more like he won't be seeing tomorrow.

"How did you - ?" He stumbles over the words and cuts himself short, not wanting to know the answer in the end. It doesn't matter how Yashiro knows what he knows; what matters is that pieces of a long forgotten puzzle are beginning to fall into place. His mother noticing someone attempting to abduct a little girl. That someone being familiar - as familiar and recognizable as a beacon when you stopped to think about it. That same someone who was there, all those years ago, who could have committed all those abductions from a childhood he would rather not remember.

Memories that should have been locked away begin to rush to the forefront of his mind and he feels sick. He should have realized, long ago, recalling the words that had stuck in his thoughts for years: "Today you graduate from elementary school, but there is still so much that is missing. That goes for me, too. And yet, I think filling up that missing something is what life is."

"Sensei," the hollowness in his own voice surprises him, but he turns and locks eyes with the man, because he wants to know, "what are you using to fill up that missing something?"

The grin turns into something sharp and pointed, something more spine chilling than even the press of a knife. "You're a smart boy, Satoru. I am sure you've figured it out." He playfully pats at the younger man's face, obliging him with an answer regardless. "But if you most know ... right now, that something is you."

He swallows down the panic that rises from the pit if his stomach. Heavy like a rock, the panic sits there, stewing, and he is left with an energy that previously eluded him. His nerves thrum with a need to get out, as far and as fast as he can. There aren't many options coming to mind, but he tries to think of them anyway. Pressing his luck as he puts his hand against Yashiro's chest and shoves.

It doesn't do much, his actions, but there is a flicker of amusement across his once teacher's face before it settles into indifference. "I was expecting more of a struggle."

"And I was expecting to be dead by now," Satoru bites out before he can filter himself. Ah, I said that out-loud, he thinks. With muted horror, he pales further. He expects retaliation.

Instead, he startles a laugh out of his would-be killer. "Oh, Satoru, it was never you I was planning to kill. This simply changes my plans a bit." There is a crinkle of gloves as Yashiro pulls his knife back, lets it clatter to the floor. He grabs him by the jaw in exchange, uses his other hand to take off the glasses that have cracked in the struggle, and scrutinizes him for any further harm, tsking at what he sees. "You should clean yourself up before your mother arrives. Wouldn't want to worry her, would we?"

"What are you - " There is unbridled fury in his veins. He isn't going to let anything happen to his mother, and it fuels him on as he grabs Yashiro by the lapels of his nice suit, dragging him down. "Don't you dare touch my mother!"

Something in that sparks Yashiro's interest. With his palms flat against the ground, he looms over the person he has trapped and it makes Satoru feel as if he's back in school. Tiny and small. Helpless again to the same person that scarred his childhood. He remembers a missing friend, a missing classmate, and a friend accused of a crime he didn't commit. And here was the real culprit. The real offender who continued to commit crimes as easily as breathing.

"I will touch," Yashiro tells him, running a hand down Satoru's chest, "what I want." It is intimidation, pure and simple. A means to scare him. It works, and he instinctively raises his knee and slams it into Yashiro's gut. Not quite the reaction any of them were aiming for, but it does the trick in unbalancing Yashiro and that is the chance Satoru was looking for all along.

His heart pounding in his ears, he scrambles to get up and away. To get to the door.

He doesn't get far before a hand clamps down on his ankle and pulls, sending him to the floor with a crash. Face first and suddenly grateful for Yashiro's mindfulness in taking off his glasses. "Ah, ah, ah. Where do you think you're going?" That sense of gratefulness vanishes in an instance, along with any sense of personal space as his wrists are pinned to the floor, straddled once more by the intruder in his home. "I was being nice, and you want to ruin the fun? You've grown dull since I last saw you."

Pulled back by his hair, Satoru closes his eyes against the imminent pain that plans follow. But when nothing happens, he tentatively cuts his gaze to the side. From where he is, he can barely make out Yashiro's expression, but there is a thought there. A consideration. Right before a wide grin spreads like needles across a delighted mouth. "We're the same, aren't we."

Eyes darkening like a wave in a storm, Satoru hisses, "I am nothing like you."

"Oh, but you are, aren't you? You, too, are lacking. We're all lacking. What do you use to fill that emptiness, Satoru? Tell me."

"No." It slips out before he can stop it. He refuses to tell Yashiro anything, but the quick and resolute way he speaks his answer earns the reprimand that didn't come before it. His face slams against the floor and there are spots in front of him, dancing, a gasp ripped from his throat as he blinks back tears.

"I asked you a question. It's only proper," stresses Yashiro, "that you answer." He tries to think of something to say, something untrue, but Yashiro gives him a warning shake. "And make sure it's the truth."

He takes too long to answer and he can feel the impatience in the gloved hand that taps at his hair. Repetitive tap, tap, tapping. On a whisper, he says, "Manga," because it's what he does for a living, outside the realm of pizza delivery, but there is something that lacks in his answer. A depth that he can't find. Neither in his art nor in his life. He is lacking, but he doesn't know what. He's barely scratched the surface of his heart to find it. He doesn't want to travel that path, not into those muddy depths, afraid of the answers he'll find buried there.

"Wrong again," Yashiro practically sing-songs, but there is an amiable purr to his voice as he massages the back of Satoru's head. "But I can see that you're tried, so I'll let that one slide. Besides," the front door gives a wiggle, far away - but not far enough, "we have company. You're a smart boy. I'm sure you can guess what happens next."

touma being a responsible dad and a decent human being (jaw dropped) i can’t wait for the secret about mahiru to get revealed. we’ve waited so long, i think it’s been like two years since we got that awful cliff hanger (?) bro this arc has been so long i’ve been reading this manga since i was in middle school now im a sophomore in college

but fr tho i thought c3 arc was a bit long when i first started following the manga but this recent arc was a hard read ngl (im not hating i just haven’t had the time to sit down and reread the whole series in a while, i end up forgetting stuff in monthly updates) like i remember really enjoying the london chapters cuz we finally saw mahiru’s development and feeling meh on the rest of it. ik this is deffo going to change bcuz im looking back at prev chapters and i feel insane for not appreciating them that much (literally the same thing happened when i was keeping up with aot manga. for some stupid reason i could not get my head wrapped around the marley and war for paradis arc and only got my mind blown when i took a break and reread the whole thing. i think im just stupid lol)

but anyways yeah i literally love servamp so sad it’s finally coming to an end

ik after over a decade tanaka sensei needs a break but im lowkey hyped for any other works she may be planning or honestly a full series of servamp gakuen or even a spin off based on this re:servamp thing

one last thing idky but this re:servamp thing reminds me of the slice of life eva episode. it just has the same everyone’s happy and without trauma vibe and it makes me want to bawl my fucking eyes out 😖

Here’s cute Lust pair headcanons to warm the soul (specifically mine)

Lily’s hair dryer is a hightech, state-of-the-art device that cost a small fortune and has blown the fuses in Alicein mansion more than once. Misono used to complain about it a lot, but over time, especially in winter, he has come to appreciate its benefits. Now whenever Lily fires it up, he can be sure that a moment later Misono will show up in his bathroom, looking to get some of that wonderfully warm airstream pointed in his direction – he’ll never outright ask for it, of course, just stare at his Servamp demandingly, but Lily is happy to indulge him anyway. His wet hair can wait (for Misono and no one else).

When Misono was a lot younger, he used to ask Lily to read him books, all cuddled up in the vampire’s lap. These days he prefers reading by himself; and whenever Lily gets too melancholic about how quickly times change he’ll have him put his head in his Eve’s lap, to read to him instead. It matters very little what kind of book it is or whether Lily knows anything about the plot at all – an Eve’s voice and presence are inherently soothing to their Servamp, and it’s not rare for him to fall asleep like that, a little smile on his face.

In spring and summer the Alicein gardens are overflowing with flowers; and Lily’s children love weaving them into flower crowns to give to the staff and family and whoever else wants them. More often than not, Misono will begrudgingly accept one, because it makes the children happy and he knows Lily enjoys having flowers around when napping in his Eve’s hair without permission (again). One time, Misono forgot to take it off when leaving the house to meet Mahiru, which neither Lily nor Dodo felt obliged to speak up about and was only noticed when Mahiru complimented him about it. 

Misono cannot resist a pretty bookmark – since he goes through a lot of books, he feels quite justified in owning a lot of them. The ones he uses most often, however, are from a pack Lily got him when he was much younger, with little paper butterflies on top that look like they’re sitting on top of the book when he closes it. He’ll claim it’s a force of habit rather than a preference if asked, but he does enjoy looking at his bookshelf to see a small swarm of butterflies waiting for him. 

Lily also likes pretty bookmarks, but he tends to lose them among the stuff littering his not particularly well-organised desk. He used to simply grab whatever was nearby to mark the pages of his books – a flyer, a wayward piece of string or a playing card, perhaps – until a younger Misono made him a little origami butterfly, wonky and somewhat clumsily folded but immune to being lost.

You had finished the three volumes of Servamp that you checked out yesterday quite quickly, but it just met closing time when you checked the clock, so you were unable to go back and trade them for the next three volumes. You decided that the next morning, you’d make your way back to the library, and that’s where you’re headed.

On your way there, your tummy rumbles, and you remember that you haven’t eaten anything this morning. You check your bag, in case Milo had shoved some snacks in there again knowing you, but it seems you ate them all last time. Alright, not a problem, you could make a quick stop at a cafe or something on the way. You pull up the maps app on your phone and search. The closest one looks pretty cute, and decently taken care of, using the reviews and pictures as reference, so you begin to head there.

The name of the cafe was “Mochi-Mochi Cafe”. You hear the bell above you chime, and the pleasant smell wafts around the air. There are lots of people, this place must be a favorite among many. You spot lots of pastries near the front, and determine that this place doubles as a bakery. That sounds good for the future. You could easily drop by here before a battle in the morning, it was close enough to the Plaza. You had just intended on getting tea, coffee, or hot chocolate - anything to fill your stomach, so you think you’ll stick to that. You browse the menu and see that they have ice cream sundaes on special today. 

‘That’s probably a bad idea for in the morning, right?’

You look around, and see that it’s actually something lots of people are enjoying at their tables right now.

‘Well, Milo’s not here to stop me, so…’

You order yourself a nice sundae with all the toppings you could want. The person at the front seems a little nervous, you assume that he’s new. He’s working the cash though, so there shouldn’t be a problem. You’re sure to tell him your order slowly and wait for him to catch up, repeating the bits he missed without issue. You finally place your order and look around to find a seat. There’s only one table left, so you make your way there. You sit and look around, bored. They’ve got some cute decorations. Lots of cat-themed stuff. Lots of “make friends! Talk to the people around you!” type of signs.

‘Yeah, no thanks. I just came to eat and get back to my manga.’

Your order takes some extra time, but you don’t blame them with how busy it is. 

You thank them and begin to walk back to your seat, nearly bumping into a tall inkling, who seems to be wearing an octo tee and gold hi-horses. You didn’t want to look up, but you had to make sure it was him. No doubt about it. He goes up to the counter and you to your seat. The counter is in view of where you’re sitting, and you’re just close enough to make out his order. Which just so happens to be an ice cream sundae, just like yours. He did eat one in the manga, you shouldn’t be surprised that he likes them. He turns around, about to find himself a seat, but the cafe goes quiet after hearing a comically loud crash and a small “Carp!” From the back. A few moments of silence, excluding the footsteps of the workers going to check out what happened, then a shout of “Ice cream machine’s broken!”

It seems to not faze Skull, and he finds the only free seat across from you. He looks at you, silently asking if he can sit there. You nod, and are about to dig in. Before you do, you have to ask him why he didn’t go order something else, saying that you overheard him ordering ice cream.

“Why would I?”

“...Because the ice cream machine’s broken?”

“Oh. I guess I can’t have my sundae, then.”

“Nope.”

You both kind of look around awkwardly, you waiting for him to go order something.

“So you’re not gonna get something else?”

“I don’t want anything else.”

You want to let out an exasperated sigh, he really is airheaded.

“You know what? Here, I don’t mind ordering something else. It’s not like I was craving it anyways, it just looked good in the moment.”

You gently push the sundae with the unused spoon in it towards him, standing up out of your chair to order something new. You know how bad of a sweet tooth he has, so you figure this is your best option. He doesn’t even question it, quickly grabbing the spoon. 

‘Man, what a lovable idiot.’

You stop at the counter, ordering a handful of pastries, asking for them to put three in a to-go bag. You figure you should be kind enough to at least get your teammates something small, they can warm them up later if they want. Before you can sit back down, the cashier calls to you.

“Sorry to bug you, but did your boyfriend want something else since we can’t make him his ice cream? We can do it for free, sorry for the inconvenience!”

Uh…boyfriend?

You look back at Skull, who’s still sitting at the table, readjusting his bandanna.

“Oh! Nono, It’s not like that. I gave him mine, so we should be fine. But if it isn’t a problem, could I possibly get a gift card for this place?”

“Of course, here you go. Sorry once again!”

You wave dismissively, assuring them that it’s no big deal.

“You didn’t finish it?”

“No. It was yours. You can have the other half.”

You look at what was left of the sundae.

‘…He already ate all the good stuff on top. Thanks, but no thanks, sweetheart.’

“Don’t worry about it, you can finish it. I already ordered a couple things for myself.”

“But I feel bad now.”

“It’s alright, promise! It’s not like I’m just gonna disappear, we’ll probably see eachother again at some point.”

He doesn’t budge. Not like you can just move him, he’s a unit of a guy.

“Actually, tell you what. Next time we see eachother, I’ll probably have my teammates with me. One of them is a big fan of your skill, so how about you give them a signature. Deal?”

“Okay, sure.”

…Yet he still doesn’t move. What does he want? More sweets? Does he just wanna talk? He’s hard to read.

The bell at the front chimes, and here comes our lord and savior, our beloved:

Aviators.

He spots Skull right away, he’s certainly been searching for him for a while.

“There you are! Been lookin’ for ya, dude!”

He turns to you,

“Has he been buggin’ ya? Sorry ‘bout that. Name’s Avi, but you can call me yours, sweetheart.”

Damn. Okay then.

You lean back in your chair and raise a brow at him. Seemingly unfazed, you offer him a hand to shake.

“Yeah, don’t worry about it. But you can call me,-”

He feels a note and card in his hand, and looks at it. He spots a series of digits.

“-Anytime.”

He tries to fire back, but his mind’s betraying him. 

“It’s that easy to get you speechless? Thought this was your specialty, love.”

You chuckle at how easy that was, and you shoot him a genuine smile. 

Picking up your stuff from the chair, you grab your pastries from the counter, and give half of the purple team a quick wave, before making the bell chime again.

Thank cod you planned on giving Skull that note, you were sure he was going to forget you, and you just wanted proof that you two had met for when you see eachother again.

and why he 100% most definitely undoubtedly has a massive crush on Mahiru Shirota and I am writing this post(s) in honor of my favorite Servamp character and Pride Month 🌈💚

I know I said some of this stuff before in the past, but SO MANY things have come out since then and I haven't really had a reason to talk about some of these. So I thought it would be fun cause I haven't made a post like this in awhile ✨

It's insane how much content Sakuya has outside of the main story and I feel like a lot from him gets forgotten or some don't know about some of this stuff since he hasn't been physically in the story for awhile again 💔 maybe Tanaka Strike has certain main story plans later... but when you look over all these bits and pieces of the serious and the even silly stuff, you really start to realize this boy is definitely "🌈🌈🌈"

To start off real quick I feel like mentioning that we do have to remember that while Sakuya and Mahiru weren't actually childhood friends they were still together for a whole year before the events of the canon Servamp story began. Meaning Sakuya definitely had plenty of time to fall for Mahiru even if he probably didn't realize it yet. So if you really think about it, Sakuya and Mahiru have known each longer than most other characters in Servamp. Outside of like you know, any family relationships in the series.

Drama CD moments:

Sakuya confessing his “undying love” for Mahiru (In the 2016 April Fool's Day "SERVAMP School" announcement, it is stated that the way he would pursue Mahiru by insisting on walking him home everyday while proclaiming his undying love to him.)

This whole CD was apparently like an dating sim lol just read this synopsis, "Who will Mahiru ends up with? Will he go with the tsundere chibi who insists on paying him lunch while calling it troublesome? Or will he go with the lazy blue-haired senior who likes to invite him to eat ramen together? Or perhaps with the green-haired classmate who insists on walking him back home together everyday while proclaiming his undying love to him? You’ll find it all out in “SERVAMP School”.

"Aaaah, vampire-like options appeared all of a sudden! That was close – I was just about to forget you guys are vampires!!"

April Fool's Day or not, this CD is very indeed telling of Tanaka Strike's previous BL works. Yes Tanaka Strike made tons of BL/yaoi mangas,doujins, and one shots before Servamp so keep that in mind too.

Sakuya getting super flustered by Mahiru calling him “Sakkun”. in the Servamp Drama CD “The Vampire-only Summer Vacation” Episode 3 (I recommend listening to this one, Sakuya's panicking near the end makes it extremely worth it, he's so cute here <3)

Sakuya: "For me... S-S-"Sakkun"... or something..."

Mahiru: "Heh? S-Sakuya? You wanted to be called something like that?"

Sakuya: "A-ah! No! J-just kidding! J-joking!! Ahahahah!! H-how much of what I just said was a lie-?"

Mahiru: "S-Sakkun…"

Sakuya: "U-uwahh!! I was lying!! Lying!! Mahiru you DUMMY—!!"

(also small thing that I also think is cute here is the fact Mahiru was not into the whole nicknames thing that everyone was doing until Sakuya wanted one and then tries to make him happy by saying it❤️)

In Servamp Idol Festival Track 4, Sakuya misses Mahiru so much he has Mahiru merch and has made his own Mahiru plushies. (Even though he said he can barely thread a needle in the main story... my more own personal headcanon here is that Sakuya probably said that just he spend more time with Mahiru alone, cause why else?) Tsubaki and Belkia are shocked by how much Mahiru merchandise he has too.

In the same drama CD Sakuya signed his name as "MahiMahilove" in his letter about hating his bosses demands and wanting to see his friend. (x)

I can't find the exact CD name, but there's one where Kuro and Misono get part time jobs and Sakuya is there working too. When Sakuya sees Kuro and Misono without Mahiru and immediately starts asking why isn't Mahiru with them. Misono even mocks Sakuya for this lmao.

Sakuya: "and where's Mahiru? Why's the cat here but Mahiru isn't? Mahiru should be here."

Misono: "When you open your mouth all that comes out is "Mahiru Mahiru." Don't you have other friends than him?"

The drama CD Servamp "Much Ado About Nothing Filled with Vampires" Track 3 - Switch: Where half the main cast switches bodies, Sakuya immediately goes to "Mahiru's" side (not knowing it's currently Kuro in Mahiru's body lmao) worried about him because Mahiru looks "gloomy". Since it's actually Kuro, he doesn't know how to respond and only says "nya..." causing Sakuya to further panic that "Mahiru" is not acting like himself. Also Sakuya really wanted to switch bodies with Mahiru too after figuring out the truth. (x)

In Servamp Idol Festival Track 4, Sakuya asks Tsubaki for 50,000 yen (which about $394 in USD at least lol) so he can take Mahiru to get Yakiniku. (Sakuya might have been planning to take Mahiru somewhere pretty nice cause Yakiniku is generally considered a luxury dining option in Japan apparently when I searched it up.) (x)

In the CD "Much Ado About Nothing Filled with Vampires" Track 1, Sakuya talks about the sauna being good for your blood flow and Mahiru brings up not wanting to talk about that in front of a bunch of vampires and Sakuya reassures Mahiru he won't bite him. (I wonder if this is in slight reference to Sakuya saying whenever they used to hang out he always felt very thirsty... I wonder if he really meant that or not.)

Sakuya: "I hear it’s good for blood flow, too."

Sakuya: "What do you think, Mahiru?"

Mahiru: "Uh… I mean, well… I’d rather avoid talking about blood in front of vampires…"

Sakuya: "It’s okay! I won’t bite you."

Tsubaki: "Sakuya, you’re coming on too strong."

Tsubaki: "I don’t remember raising you to be so beastly."

(god even Tsubaki knows his son is gay)

In a comic gene bonus, Servamp Mini-drama CD “Steam Vampire Chapter”, where Tsubaki and Belkia find Sloth Pair at the hot springs and when they return to their room telling Sakuya he should have came with them and Sakuya said it was still a "definite no" until they mentioned Mahiru was there and they immediately have his attention, "Mahiru!? Mahiru came here?" meaning he would have definitely shown up if he knew Mahiru was there lol (r.i.p to you Sakuya) (x)

and of course I didn't forget the 10th Anniversary CD track 6 because holy god, this is one of the most recent ones and I swear everything was over the top and so was Sakuya's obvious feelings for Mahiru. Strike isn't even being subtle anymore... (x)

Sakuya is extremely moved Mahiru listened to his "depressing monologue" in the previous tracks with Tsubaki lmao

Sakuya says he can hear Mahiru's voice sometimes even when he's not around.

Literally attempts to attack Mikuni WITH HIS CHAINSAW WHICH WE HAVEN'T SEEN SINCE CHAPTER 32 IN VOLUME 6 AND TELLS HIM TO STAY AWAY FROM MAHIRU. Also Mahiru pretty much sics Sakuya on Mikuni like a guard dog here too anyways... 😅

There's a moment where he is talking to Mahiru and they talk about the past for a brief moment or as Sakuya puts it "Let's continue talking about our feelings, Mahiru!"

Sakuya gushes to Mahiru about a time where they went shopping together on their way home for the first time and how his "heart was pounding like crazy the entire time." Sakuya words actually make Mahiru flustered as well while he remembers the memory of it.

Sakuya continues to gush to Mahiru, but he won't shut up to the point where they literally fade him out while he continues to talk with Mahiru and Tsubaki says "feel free to ignore this child."

Manga/SLS comic moments:

Most recently from the 2022 character popularity poll comic look how happy Sakuya is that he and Mahiru ranked so close together in the postcard rankings 💚

This entire SLS comic from Sleepy Life of Servamp Volume 1 ... I don't need to say much else (lol it's meant to be a joke about how Sakuya is low key "yandere" even he doesn't really display these exact traits in the main story, but still I can't with this boy) the only other time Sakuya is referred to as a "yandere" is in the Servamp Idol Festival drama CD as said by Belkia... but only cause they are freaked out by Sakuya's collection 😅

From the 10th Servamp Anniversary party booklet: Sakuya literally pulling an Edward Cullen and protecting Mahiru(and kitty Kuro) from a truck and acting like it's nothing lmaooo (x)

At the end of volume 9 there's a comic about the anime version of Sevamp being announced and while all the characters have their own takes about what its focus will be. Sakuya wants it to be about him and Mahiru in highschool (Strike makes this boy talk about Mahiru any chance he can get, my god)

I wonder if he was hoping for a coming of age or slice of life story or some kind of high school romance... 🤔

Anime moments:

After the first Sakuya-centric arc is over in the anime Sakuya replaces Kuro in the anime ending for one episode and it shows him smiling at Mahiru 💚 like this wasn't at all necessary to do... But the anime team did it anyways and I feel like it for a good reason. It really shows that even they can't always be together now Sakuya means just as much to Mahiru as Kuro does :') like Mahiru does have other bonds with characters, but they REALLY made it a point here. Sakuya is what made Mahiru take getting stronger way more serious and want to find a good way to put an end to Tsubaki's plans. Not only for the other Servamps and Eves, but for his best friend too.

Also I'm convinced the anime team low key ships them the most now after seeing them here on the blu-ray/dvd box and all the other extra anime style content they gave us lol (I'm joking but also...??👀)

This scene is completely anime only(the entire ending of the anime was completely made up anyways) but I think this really shows Sakuya would protect Mahiru if he saw Mahiru in immediate danger. We haven't seen anything like this in the manga version yet, but I believe something very similar might happen if given the chance. For example, Mahiru never did the key ability before in the manga like he did here in the anime at first. Eventually years later he did it in the manga, but it happened a bit differently. GOD LET SAKUMAHI REUNITE IN THE MANGA ALREADY.

In fact the anime did cut out a scene from volume 4 where Sakuya protects Sloth Pair from Belkia. Although they didn't know it was Sakuya who did it. They thought Belkia just disappeared out of nowhere.

and yes, we're still not done... Cause here's some bonus stuff!!

I want to talk about this because this probably a more obscure "SakuMahi moment", if we can really call it that... 😂 (it's more of a moment between Yuto Suzuki and Takuma Terashima, but their are acting out their characters and using their voices so..?)

But there was a seiyuu event called "Servamp Festival: Find your Partner!" Or "Secret Door challenge" and the Servamp voice actors played a little game where they were basically kind of role-playing as their respective characters and had to find their partners behind a door guessing by the sound of their voice. (basically Mahiru had to find Kuro, Licht had to find Hyde and so on) The catch was that their voices were pitched to make it more difficult for them.

but Mahiru(Terushima) didn't guess correctly and instead of finding Kuro(Yuki) behind the door.... He found Sakuya(Yuto) and well,, 👀

Host: "Please open the door!"

Terushima(Mahiru): "It was you guys! It's Sakuya!!"

Suzuki(Sakuya): "MAHIRU~!!!"

Terushima(Mahiru): "Aaaa! I feel weird fate! Stop it!"

I feel like even Suzuki knows that Sakuya is a little bit too into Mahiru that he just really played up this moment here. I mean, look at him stretching out his hand like that and he sounded so happy when yelling out "MAHIRU!!!" :D (also I like how Belkia's VA just kinda ignores them lol)

I do recommend watching the full version of this, it's a very entertaining seiyuu event 😂 although I don't think you'll find a fully translated version anymore...

There's a lot of Land of Nod events too and other bonus contents as well, like Parallel Summer, Servamp Valentines event and my personal favorite the Halloween event on Tanaka Box...

So this is definitely not everything I can find but I'm going to make a part 2 to this since I can't add more images anyways, sucks tumblr doesn't more than 10 pictures on text posts anymore💀 and this likely won't be the end of this Sakuya's eternal pining for Mahiru until they finally reunite in the main story...

Chapter 122 spoilers (again)

Yeah so this is all coming from a single line Mikuni spoke this chapter lol

This line here is Mikuni being his usual self and referencing a portion of the bible, more specifically, he's talking about John the Baptist, who was beheaded, but it goes... Deeper than that.

Rather than Mikuni, this post is going to focus on Lily, and how this line relates to him and the role he's playing in this particular scene.

Okay so the down and dirty of it is that Johnny boy was imprisoned by King Antipas after criticizing his marriage to the widow of his halfbrother. Mikuni is clearly John here, openly criticizing his father's affair and all that good stuff.

The thing is, Herodias, Antipas's new wife, had a daughter, and while her new husband was reluctant to execute John because he "knew him to be a good and just man," he backed himself into a corner after promising anything his new daughter desired after she danced in front of him. Her mother, seeing an opportunity, convinced her daughter to ask for the head of John on a silver platter. Reluctant but not one to back down on his word, Antipas acquiesced and John was executed.

Now how this fits in with Lily.

The most commonly accepted idea is that Herodias's daughter was named Salome, and through numerous media interpretations, she's become synonymous with the face of female lust and obsessive love, partially thanks to the writings of Oscar Wilde, who created a play using the name that had become accepted for her and popularized the idea that her dance was one of sexual nature, using the name "Dance of the Seven Veils".

It's a westernized belly dance basically lol. Anyway, I say accepted because in the end... We don't actually know her name. You see, while the historian Josephus lists the stepdaughter of Antipas as "salome," no connection is ever made between this Salome and John, nor is it ever mentioned that she dances. It's just... The one thing was have to go off of? So it's kind of the default.

Enter Salome: the opera, by Richard Strauss. This is truly where the connection to Lily becomes the most obvious, in a very roundabout way (as is Strike's nature).

You see, in the play, Salome is a target of lust for numerous characters, not least notable of all her own father. However, upon seeing John, she instantly, madly, falls in love with him, but thrice has her advances rejected. John then goes on the proclaim salvation through the messiah.

Personally I think this sort of mirrors Lily's situation with Mikuni, where Mikuni was originally meant to be his Eve and, while not rejecting Lily, he ultimately left with a different Servamp, one who dresses as a holy man.

Skipping ahead a fair bit in the play, after Antipas accepts her request and brings forth John's head on a silver platter, Salome once again proclaims her love for John, and the play ends with her passionately making out with a severed head while Antipas, in horror, shouts for his guards to kill her.

And in the current chapter, we've seen Lily's obsessive love rise to the surface, where everything he does is for the sake of Misono's happiness, according to himself.

The perversion of love is a STRONG theme throughout the Alicein and I am so here for it--

To wrap this up, what I'm getting at is that Lily and Salome, through the machinations of others, now parallel each other.

Avatars of Lust through no fault of their own, they're moved about as game pieces in the schemes of others, and ultimately their true selves are forgotten in favor of molding them into what the public want of them, corrupting them into something ugly, obsessive, but fiercely desired by those very same who revile them for their existence.

And yet we can't even be sure of who they really were in the beginning.

Okay but you and Peter are super close and you found out he wanted to be the Spider-Man and helped him make his first suit and then he gets his suit from Tony and you just feel kinda useless now because what do you have to offer a guy with the avengers backing him

Peter's beaming smile was almost enough to lift your heart from where it had sunken into your stomach, the brown paper bag in his hand clutched so tightly that you thought it was going to tear.

"Can you believe it?! A real suit!"

You tried to ignore the implication that came along with that, that the suit you'd spent hours hand-sewing with your best friend wasn't good enough for him. You nodded, fake smile plastered on your face, "Well, let's see it!"

He peeled apart the top of the bag, reaching inside and gripping the material inside with much more care than he'd shown the bag. The brown paper was set aside in favor of the red and blue spandex, black webs snaking around every inch of the fabric. A black spider laid on the chest of the suit, and you watched Peter nearly faint as he saw the entire thing for the first time.

"Y/N, look at this! Oh my god, look, it's so sleek and-" Peter caught sight of the mask laying in the remains of the bag, eyes widening as he flung the suit on the bed to fumble with the mask.

"Holy shit! Y/N, it's so high-tech, there's so many- oh my god! There's a lady in here and she's talking to me and she's saying so much awesome stuff and this is so cool!"

You could only watch your best friend geek out over the newer, better version of the suit you'd pulled an all-nighter with him to make, bitterness fogging your memories of the night. You stood abruptly, tears threatening to spill out down your cheeks as you bit your lip to keep your composure.

"Hey, Pete," You managed to get your voice to sound normal, praying that with all of the high-tech add-ons to his goggles, he couldn't see your tears, "I just remembered I've got homework due tomorrow, and I left my notes at home. I gotta go, we can hang out again soon."

Then, before he could say anything, you added, "And congratulations on the suit. It looks great."

"Oh, um, do you want to just borrow my notes?"

"No, no, it's okay, I need my own. I'll see you tomorrow, yeah?"

"Wait! Wait, I'll just come over later when I do my patrol. You can see the new suit in action!"

"Can't wait," You had already turned around, no longer able to hide your tears, "See you later, Peter."

I apologize for tagging you all and bothering you once again for my shitty reasons, but since this is an important update to my blog ( I'm remaking without remaking ), I wanted you all to know what happens and how I'll be running this blog from that point on. ( I'm moving blogs to sideblogs so I can't follow you to let you know I'm moving them )

As some of you may have noticed, I'm moving my muses to separate blogs. That's a kind of system I was using a long time ago and I'm using once again now. How that works, you'll ask. Some of my muses are hosted on separate sideblogs, but I'll still be running this blog as a multimuse/hub blog. Everything will remain the SAME, I'll still be sending asks from knightinsourarmor, like calls, reblog visuals/quotes/aesthetic from different muses/fandoms. What has changed is that the writing has moved to a sideblog for each muse. I wanted them to still be tied to this blog but have a place on their own with their aesthetic, headcanons etc. ( their vibe if you get me ).

With that system, you can follow the sideblogs you want and see content only from the muses that interest you ( cool huh? ). Kind of like, little rooms my muses are hosted at, but still on the same house.

Now, to get to the point.

Todoroki Shoto and Levi Ackerman, my most active and developed muses have moved to singlemuse blogs ( different accounts, I can like content and follow back from there ). That's a decision I made because Shoto and Levi are developed to the point the rest of my muses can't catch up. They have far too many verses, can fit almost to any plot, and deserve the amount of attention I'd give on a blog on it's own.

The rest of my primary and secondary muses have moved to SIDEBLOGS tied to this blog. As for tertiary, private and test (low activity muses) they will REMAIN on this blog. This blog will also be the place I post ooc content, updates, headcanons, rp memes, reblog stuff I find notable from the rest of my blogs. So I suggest you don't unfollow even if there's only one muse you are interested in.

Despite the many blogs, knightinsourarmor will always remain the main I run. You can still treat this blog as a multimuse, tag this url to stuff, send me asks here etc.

As for urls, since I know from experience it's difficult to remember a bunch of blogs one person only runs, I've made them all have a common word, end to ‘–baund’. That way, if a sideblog appears on your dash/notes and you don't know who this is, you'll remember this blog is connected to knightinsourarmor.

And about Voldie's drama

Okay, so short backstory time about my OC (Draconisa Landsteiner)

She's technically Salazar's half sister because her mom is a vampire unlike Salazar's. She most grew up with her mom and lived a more or less normal life (as normal as you can get when you are a half vampire that is) until the Muggle Wizard warfare broke out which caused her mom to die and she goes to Salazaar who's now with the Founders and has built Hogwarts.

Anyways, she's also the only other one aware of the actual secret of the chamber and keeps mum about it and disappears when Salazaar dies, vowing to watch over his family (since she can't die unless she's killed in combat by destroying her heart completely).

She comes back to Hogwarts sometime before the birth of Voldie's mom and uncle and kinda loses track of the mother due to her extremely faint magic and everything but then realises that Voldemort is born and spends time trying to hunt him down alone right under Dumbledore's nose who's. Hardly the most reliable person out there and isn't fond of Slytherins either (and by extension, her).

Anyways, she finds him at the orphanage one day, playing in the garden and goes to talk to him and realises that stuff's fucked up but due to her own dependence on Hogwarts as a home, she believes she can't do much until he's eleven.

Either way, here both she and Dumbledore go but she can't enter the actual house unless invited personally (since it's not a magical place related to the Slytherin blood as a whole unlike Hogwarts) and uh, the Mistress was being the Mistress.

Long story short, she is the Potions teacher here and keeps a watch for Tom Riddle and is probably the only person he ever came close to trusting entirely, however he was also jealous of her in a way, since she was semi-immortal (typical Voldie) and still unleashes the Heir which causes her to get kicked out of Hogwarts along with Hagrid.

This causes Dumbledore to believe that Riddle is truly evil™ and being with Nisa just encouraged it and permanently wards Hogwarts against her (which takes her a while to break) and hires Slughorn who takes a liking to Tom Riddle and the rest is history.

Now for the drama. [Warning: This is the story my twelve year old self spun up and I know it's high-key dumb, don't shoot me]

Either way, she then tries to search for Riddle who's amassing an army while avoiding literally everyone's scrutiny and manages to get into Hogwarts as a teacher again (after a lot of complicated legalities) right before Marauder's first year. And she's devastated at how bad the inter house rivalry (encouraged by Dumbles) has gotten and she then proceeds to try and amend it but also remembers the fiasco with Riddle and tells the students to act like they hate the Slytherins but secretly makes them friends.

So yeah, in this AU (because I want Snape to get some love, okay?), Snape and the Marauders are secretly friends but keep up a dramatic act for Dumbledore and everything. But then James goes too far in his acting and so does he and Lily gets enraged and a lot more drama, causing him to grow horribly upset and fall to the dark side but he recovers quickly enough when Nisa goes to beat some sense into their heads and after the prophecy.

Anyways, that drama over, Tom Riddle disappears and so does Nisa (attempting to locate him) and stuff happens like canon but then when Voldie gets resurrected, she returns dramatically and tries to reason with him and a whole lot of manipulation and drama happens which Kickstarts his redemption arc along with Bellatrix (look I loved her okay?). There's also a Servamp style hug (but which makes more sense, yk) and then they all focus to eliminating the fucked up Ministry instead of starting a goddamned war against the Muggles which leads to a lot more drama.

Question: when it comes to kickstarting the arc, how exactly is it kickstarted? Like the specific reasonings. And servamp style hug with who?
