In case you didn't know, Emi Nishino is taking a long break from socials to just relax and rejuvinate after a busy summer. She'll be gone for about a month, starting in a few days (from when I made this post).
....Well, she and Manami Higa spent some time together before she heads off on her journey, and
Oh
My
GOD
(more after the cut)
They went out to eat, again. This is just Their Thing. They go out to eat and hang out. Always. Also, Manami chose the song "Love too" from the Tsukutabe drama as the bgm for this post.
"Love too" is a commonly played song on the show when particularly "warm and fuzzy" tender moments happen. But, more specifically, most fans will remember it's the song choice after Nomoto and Kasuga share their first kiss (when they smile at each other).
This one is a proper post on IG, so here's the link of you want to experience it!
Translation of Manami's post, based off my interpretation after machine tl:
"Emi's going on an adventure for a while, so we had a little going away party đœïž We're close lol It was really soothing. Have a safe trip! We got striped by the lighting đĄđŠđŠ"
Emi also posted her own version with her own commentary!
Translation of Emi's post:
"We met up 𫶠I was a little hesitant about my plans during my rest period. Then I got a slap on the back and came to my senses lol Manami is a person who goes full speed aheadđ„ The power is overflowing! You're so freaking cool [@'s Manami's handle]. We had lots of photos taken! We laughed a lot~ So happy! If I get lonely, I'll video call you~~ And I will~~~"
(is that a threat lmao)
#ManaEmi#askfvk i was so excited from this post i accidentally posted it on my art blog whoopsie!#but fr though they are SO CUTE IM GONNA DIIIIE#now with translation update!#this post also keeps getting updates lmao#now it's photos i forgot to share#i think i got it covered now!

Do I wanna know?
Summary: You and Drew are best friends, but you want more. What happens when you get invited to a day out on Drewâs friendâs yacht and get more?
Warnings: MDNI(18+), fem!reader, thigh riding, daddy kink, nicknames used (princess, baby, little lady, good girlâŠ), kissing, alcohol (beer), swearing, no use of (y/n), reader wears a skirt, shy!reader, pining amongst friends, English is not my first language, if I forgot anything; please let me know!!
WC: ~2.4k (no idea how that happened)
A/N: I got inspired by this photo so I wrote this at like 2 am and Iâm posting it now at 5 am, this is a mess, gn my loves (NOT PROOF READ, SORRY) (also this is my first fic about Drew so yeah)
When your best friend, Drew Starkey, invited you to a small get together on his friendâs yacht, you were more than willing to go. You and him had been friends since years, getting to know each other through mutual friends and suddenly you were eating take out with a b-list celebrity every other night.
You twirled around in front of your full body sized mirror, watching with amusement as your skirt twirls with you, the ruffles bouncing as they fluttered in the wind.
âWow. Really doesnât take much to get a smile on that pretty little face of yours, huh?â Drew chuckled as he watched you spin around.
Startled by his voice you stopped your little turns, looking at him with a small playful glare when the dizzy fog finally cleared from your vision.
âIâm just a happy person. You should try it sometimeâ you shot back, but you knew it was no use. Drew was great at talking, arguing, whatever. He was great with people in a way you just couldnât figure out for yourself.
But honestly? You were fine just standing on the sidelines watching him do his thing, waiting for him to abandon that and come talk to you for a bit.
You had been fine with it.
Lately every time he laughed and grinned at one of your sarcastic comments and every time he stared at you like he was a theoretical physicist and you had the answers to string theory, you couldnât help but want more. Couldnât help but want that âbest friendâ status to be upgraded to âgirlfriendâ. Hell, you even dreamt of being called his wife.
For now though, you were just going to try and enjoy the day on a luxurious boat.
Soon you found yourselves in the car. You clicked on random songs on your phone and sand along to the âwait, this is the best part, shut upââs before yet again changing the song as Drew drove to the harbour, admiring the way you seemed so enthralled by the different songs and music.
âWould love to continue listening to your big world tour concert, little lady, but weâre here,â he announced once heâd gotten the car carefully parked.
Excitedly, you jumped out of Drewâs car, watching as he did the same before you both made your way closer to the water where many ships floated atop the sea.
At the same time, you both spotted Drewâs group of friends, waving at them as they saw you two as well.
Youâd gotten to know them a bit but the amount of group hangouts you attended, didnât really allow you to form a strong bond to any of Drewâs friends.
What can you say?
Youâre just not a people person.
Youâre a person person.
A Drew person.
You squashed the ridiculous thought, giggling it off before you checked that your outfit was neatly in order.
Upon seeing you inspecting your clothes, Drew leaned down and whispered in your ear, his breath tantalizingly brushed against your ear and neck as he spoke, âYou look amazing, baby, donât worry.â
As you reached the boat, the smile you had shared for a few enchanting seconds came to a sudden end.
âHey, Drew!â Various different voices greeted the both of you and you both returned the favour with just as much enthusiasm.
One of the guys, the one whose yacht it was presumably, invited everyone aboard.
Your eyes flitted to everything around you, spotting a few seats, some complicated looking boat equipment and random day-to-day fun stuff lying around.
The smell of fish and sea breeze filled the air and your nostrils, but that scent quickly evaporated when Drew stepped next to you, finally finished with catching up with his friend and was now holding out a beer bottle for you to take. His cologne took over, overwhelming your senses. Something you were definitely not complaining about.
You accepted the beer from him, taking a sip before handing it back to him and watching as he repeated your action of drinking from the bottle.
Your gaze drifted to his Adamâs apple as it bobs when he took gulps of the alcoholic drink. He lowered the glass container from his lips, putting his strong bicep right in your line of sight.
As embarrassing as it is to admit you could have almost moaned from just looking at his muscly arm.
He must have taken off his shirt sometime between helping you up the steps on the side of the ship, his hand securely wrapped around your thigh to keep you from falling, and when he seemingly appeared behind you as you admired your surroundings.
Then your eyes found his chest, strong pecs priding over his abs that seemed carved from the very marble that Michelangelo had used to sculpt David, each muscle defined with an almost perfect precision to it.
Just before you could take a good look at his black swim shorts hanging off his hips and hugging his beefy thighs, his voice called your name.
âHey, come on, picture time,â he reiterated what he had said when you were still zoned out.
âOh. Okay,â Throwing your thoughts back into reality, you watched as everyone made their way over to the discussed upon place where the photo would be taken.
âWho wants to set the timer?â A girl, who youâd forgotten the name of, asked.
Something with an F? L? A? Who cares.
âNot it!â Was called by everyone but you, your face quickly morphing from a surprised look of âwho the hell still uses ânot itâ?â to an accepting face that you were in fact âitâ.
The girls and boys all took their places on the netting of the boat. The 5 people in front of you got ready to pose for the group photo.
Efficiently, you adjusted the tripod so that the camera of the phone pointed perfectly towards the centre of everyone.
You bent down, looking at the screen of the mobile. You saw Drew depicted by many pixels, your thighs clenching when he moved his hips up to readjust his position on the midnight blue blanket that lay sprawled over the rough nylon net.
Fuck, he was perfect.
Of course, you fixed your hair one last time before pressing the white button on the right side of the device, starting the 10 second countdown until the picture.
Swiftly, you made your way around the tripod, and plopped down onto the free space between a dark haired guy, youâve come to know as Matthew, and Drew. You smiled sweetly at the round circles on the back of the phone as Drew slung an arm around your shoulders.
Once the photo was taken, everyone scattered and the usual chatter was back. You ran up to the phone and you looked at the image.
Well fuck.
Drew looked absolutely freaking ethereal.
His sitting in a reclined position with one leg bent and the other stretched out, manspreading, almost made you go feral. He was smiling widely toward the camera, his impossibly bright grin attracting all the attention in the photo.
His body looked like a dream. For a moment, you thought maybe you were dreaming, if you were you would hold onto the memory of the photo, even if it was just a dream, for the rest of your life.
God, pining for your hot best friend made you sound so so pathetic.
The thought that what you were experiencing was just a dream was snapped in two like a twig when Drew came up from behind you and flicked your bare back.
âOuch!â You exclaimed, a frown forming on your face.
ââM sorry, princess,â he swung his arms over your shoulders, holding on to you from behind like a koala would his mother, peering at the screen in your hands.
âDid it turn out good?â He asked casually, acting as if he didnât see how your face was blushing an awfully deep shade of red and donât even start to think that he missed the way you were obviously turned on.
âYup,â you answered curtly, ducking down to be released of any physical contact with him, because you felt as if you would melt if he touched you a second longer.
âIâm um⊠gonna go below deck. The sun uh- itâs hitting me pretty hard right now. I have a headache,â you lied, coming up with some excuse to just get yourself somewhere where you can have your alone time.
âOâŠkayâŠâ He didnât seem convinced but that wasnât for you to deal with in that moment. You made your way down the stairs leading below the deck of the ship, the room was nice and cozy.
With a sigh of relief you sat down on a wooden bench near the kitchen and slipped your phone out of your purse.
After a few minutes of mindlessly scrolling through various social media apps you heard footsteps nearing you, causing you to look up.
Your eyes met none other than Drew Starkey himself.
âOn your phone when you have a headache? Really?â He asked unamused. âYou lyinâ about the headache or you just stupid?â
âStupidâŠ?â you offered in a quiet meek voice.
âCâmon, sweetheart, whatâs the problem, huh? You donât like my friends or something?â He questioned as he sat himself down next to you on the oak plank.
âNo, no, theyâre great, I justâŠâ You really should have been able to come up with something to say but the way his forearm was flexing as it rested on his thigh distracted you.
A smirk grew on Drewâs face. âNo yeah, I uh-â he chucked as he shook his head in what looked like slight disbelief, âI know.â
Unsure of the true meaning behind his comment you averted your eyes to the floor, focusing on the swaying of the boat on the water instead of Drewâs piercing blue eyes staring intently at you.
He leaned back with a sigh, his legs spreading wider and his arm sneaking behind your back and around your waist. âYouâre kind of ridiculous, you know that?â
All you could do was nod which earned you yet another laugh from Drew.
Just as you were about to persuade yourself to actually speak, you were pulled onto Drewâs lap by his arm, his hands quickly settling you on his thighs.
âWha-â
âI know, princess,â he cooed.
You know you should have felt at least slightly degraded or mad because of his tone but the only thing it did, was make you want to clench your thighs together. Which of course wasnât possible because each of your legs rested on different sides of Drew.
âYou look so pretty today, baby,â he said, tucking some loose strands of hair behind your ear before moving his face down to your neck and pressing soft, fleeting, sensational kisses to the side of your collar.
Your breathing became panted and you unintentionally slowly rubbed your core along the material of his pitch black swim trunks.
âNot even a thank you?â He murmured teasingly as his kisses walked over to the area right under your ear and his large hands gripped your hips harshly, stopping you from any further movement.
âTh- thank youâŠâ You whispered, your tone dipped and coated in your lust and arousal.
You felt a small nip on your throat that made you let out a small âAh-!â
âThank youâŠ?â He muttered expectantly.
âSir?â You tried, getting your confirmation of that being the wrong answer when a more harsh bite was left just under your jawline.
âDaddy..â you practically moaned out, the small pleasure that you got from the bites making you rut against Drewâs strong hold on your body.
âGood girlâŠâ he praised, his face finally coming up to meet yours, kissing you softly but also at the same time with an unforeseeable force.
His fingers stopped drilling into the skin over your hipbones, letting you push your aching core down onto his covered thigh.
He broke the kiss, his plump lips and hot breath trailing over your cheek as you both gasped from air.
His hand roughly grabbed the back of your head, wrapping his fingers around your messy hair, holding you tight against him.
Immediately after, his other hand took hold of your hip again, helping you grind down on his swim pants.
âThatâs right, baby, use daddyâs leg,â he breathed out heavily.
âSuch,â he pressed a sloppy kiss to your jawline, âa,â another kiss was placed on the corner of your mouth, âgood,â he said before pecking your lips, âgirl,â he murmured into your mouth before shoving his tongue down your throat.
The press of his thigh onto your bikini bottom made a perfect friction emerge against your clit, sending jolts of pleasure through you.
âWhat about-â you started.
âI locked the door, sweetheart, no worries.â
The way he basically read your mind made you feel even more turned on.
Your folds rubbed back and forth in your
soaking wet swim bottoms as you gripped Drewâs shoulders tightly, eyes squeezed shut as he continued to spew out praise after praise to you.
Suddenly a knock resounded throughout the room, a sudden halt coming to your despicable actions.
âHello? Anyone in here? Why is the door locked?â A female voice asked from the other side of the door.
âOne second!â Drew called before returning his attention to you.
âWeâll finish this later, yeah?â All you could do was nod, still completely dazed.
He picked you up off his lap, helping you settle back into a standing position and smoothing out both of your guysâ clothes.
With a casual smile on his face he unlocked and opened the door, spouting out some excuse for the door being locked before leading you upstairs with him.
For the rest of the afternoon, you sat, with a drink in hand, watching Drew talk amongst his friends, his eyes flicking to you every once in a short while.
Once other people started leaving and the sun started setting, he walked up to you.
âReady to leave, princess?â
âUh-huh,â you uttered out, standing up and saying your goodbyes to everyone that still found themselves on the yacht.
As you walked down the dock, admiring the sunset, you gripped onto Drewâs arm.
âEverything okay?â He asked.
You looked up at him with an âAre you serious?â face, annoyed at his nonchalant antics.
âGee, sorry, okay?â He chuckled.
âIâll make you feel good soon. Donât worry, little lady.â

07.15 p.m
Zayne would be getting off work soon. He had just finished an emergency surgery, and it had been exhausting. Now it was quite late.
âDr. Zayne! Great job today!â Greyson exclaimed, suddenly strolling into his consultation room with a grin. âWant to grab dinner with us?â
Honestly, he was starving too. âWhere?â
âOh, you know, that new place that just opened nearby! They have the tastiest tiramisu, or so Iâve heard. Câmon, weâre inviting the nurses too!â
He knew he needed to head home soon, but fatigue and hunger blurred his thoughts at the mention of dessert.
âAlright.â
. . .
08.25 p.m
Getting together with the hospital staff was always nice. They were rowdy, but it was definitely a great way to unwind after a hard day.
The tiramisu was as great as Greyson said. Speaking of his assistant, he and Yvonne were having a blast. Other doctors were getting drunk. Zayne could only shake his head, and it suddenly dawned on him that he had been here quite a while.
It was only when he turned on his phone and saw the time that he realized, with sinking heart thatâ
He was supposed to meet you at six.
If you were asked how you felt about your life now, youâd be hard-pressed to say you were completely content.
You were a stellar fighter in the Hunter Association, more than content with your job, and you had a good husband. To some, you had what they would call the perfect life.
The wife of the Dr. Zayne. True, it was a flattering title, yet unbeknownst to everyone, also a humbling one.
And the notion struck you once again when your husband of almost two years stood you up on your dinner date without so much as a notice.
âMiss... weâre about to close now...â The waitress approached your table for at least the third time, and you nodded sheepishly, finally finishing your meal.
You paid for it and left the restaurant. The chilly night air hit your skin, giving you goosebumps as you walked home. It wasnât the first time this had happened. Granted, Zayne had a packed schedule, and you figured he might've had an urgent matter to attend to that he forgot to let you know.
Still... it hurts. Knowing you were not a priority in your husbandâs eyes wasnât a fun feeling.
Your phone buzzed in your pocket the moment you arrived at your shared home. Your husbandâs name flashed on your screen. The time now was 08.40 p.m.
âHello, Zayne?â
âY/N?â Your husbandâs voice sounded frantic. âAre you still at the restaurant? Iâm goingââ
âAh, no need to. Iâm going home.â
âIâll pick you up then. Stay thereââ
âIâve already arrived.â
An awkward silence settled between you, and you could clearly hear the noise on the other end. Greysonâs laughter was unmistakable.
You forced a laugh, still trying to sound cheerful for him even when realizing that he had completely forgotten about you. âItâs totally fine, Zayne! Are you heading back?â
âYeah...â
âTake care then. See you at home.â
You ended the call with a sigh, trying to shake off the sting in your heart. As you made your way upstairs to your bedroom, you passed by a large portrait on the wall, and a bittersweet sensation washed over you.
Your wedding photo. Both of you were smiling on what was the most wonderful day of your life. Zayneâs smile was reserved, but yours was radiant.
It is the most wonderful thing that has happened to you... but is it the same for him?
At that time, despite everything, you were convinced a lifetime of happiness awaited you, yet now... it got harder to fool yourself into believing it.
Your marriage has always been lukewarm.
Zayne wasnât an overly excited person, and you were his oppositeâbut try as you might, some things between you just didnât work out. As a result, both of you tended to keep certain things to yourselves.
Most days, this didn't bother him. He valued his privacy, so the way things were suited him just fine. However, several days later, when Greyson approached him with a worried expression and a news, even Zayne had to draw the line.
âDr. Zayne? Uh, how do I say this? I think I saw your wife being wheeled in earlier with the injured from the hunt zones raidâŠâ
. . .
âYour husband is a doctor here. Why arenât you calling him?â
Xavier, your fellow Deepspace Hunter who was partnered with you in this mission, questioned you with a hint of annoyance as he observed your pathetic state on the stretcher and crossed his arms. âWhy do you have to bleed out in ER when you can get him?â
You winced, pressing the bloodied cloth against your stinging abdomen as you felt yourself growing faint. âHeâs... a surgeon,â you panted. âHeâs busy.â
Above all, you didnât want Zayne to see you like this. You could already imagine his angry face, and that mental image alone made you recoil.
âWhat sort of husband is busy when his wife is injured?â Xavier raised an eyebrow. âDid you at least notify him?â
You shut your eyes, feeling a migraine coming.
âI will then.â
âNo.â
âY/N, youââ
âShut up, Xavierââ
The curtain was suddenly pulled back, and you braced yourself for whoever had come to check on you next. To your surprise, the cloth in your hand was snatched away, and you felt your uniform being torn open with urgency.
When you opened your eyes, you barely made out your husbandâs figure through your hazy vision. ââŠZayne?â
His expression was stern, unforgiving even, as he started to disinfect your wound. Despite the tension, you couldn't deny the relief that washed over you. You knew you were in good hands, even if you had to face his fury later on.
Your consciousness slipped away not long after that.
. . .
The next time you woke up, you found yourself in a private room, with a nagging itch where you had been injured.
You groaned, your limbs stiff and heavy, and the room slowly came into focusâalong with your husband's face.
"Zayne?" Your voice came out barely above a whisper. He stood pristine in his white coat and glasses, assessing you with a scrutinizing gaze.
"Your wound is, thankfully, shallow," he said flatly, his tone lacking any real concern. "You'll be discharged tonight. I'll take you home as soon as my shift is over."
"Ah..." You blinked several times to clear your head. "Good then. Sorry for showing up out of nowhere. Xavier and I were on a rescue mission, and I accidentallyâ"
He walked away before you could finish, the abruptness snapping you fully awake. He was furious, that much was clear.
"Ha ha..." You forced a laugh, fiddling with your fingers, trying to ease the awkward tension between you. "It doesn't hurt much, actually. You're rightâI'm fine..."
Zayne shot you a sharp glance. "You passed out due to blood loss."
"This isn't the first time it has happened and nor will it beâ"
"And it didn't even occur to you to inform me at all. I found out that my own wife was wounded because Greyson passed by the ER and saw you."
His words left you silent, caught red-handed, but your annoyance was reaching its limit. You had imagined how nice it would be if he panicked about you, showering you with care when he found out. But instead, Zayne chose to rebuke you the moment you woke up.
âIâm not a child,â you reasoned, keeping yourself calm. âIâm a hunter. This is nothing new, and you should understand that.â
âThe least you couldâve done is to tell meââ
âDo you know why I didnât? Itâs because I know how youâll react!â
ââand it would do you better to prioritize your safety and not rush headfirst into danger.â
âBelieve me, I do butâ!â
Suddenly, Zayne spun around to face you, his eyes blazing with fury as he raised his voice. âIâve told you so many times already, you have to stay back, or youâll end upâ!â
He stopped abruptly, leaving his sentence hanging in the air, but right at that moment, you knew all too well who he meant, and what the implication was.
His, without a doubt, greatest love. His childhood friend, a hunter like yourself, someone he had vowed to save but succumbed to her illness before he could do so, died on arrival.
The irony was sharp. You had become everything she once was. You knew her well, too. When she passed, the entire Hunter Association mourned her loss. And more than that, on the night she died, you had been with him.
Looking back, you should have seen it coming. Still, it hit you like a splash of cold water. Your husband was still preoccupied with thoughts of his ex-girlfriend, and worse yet, he saw pieces of her in you.
And you suspected he had for a whileâperhaps even, from the very beginning.
For a second there, not for the first time, you felt your heart shatter.
âI donât have Protocore syndrome,â you stated, steeling yourself against the heartbreak. âMy heart won't suddenly fail because I get injured. Iâm not that weak.â
You turned away as Zayne refused to respond, missing his look of disdain as he stormed out of the room.
That was when your first tear fell.
Right from the start, you knew you had to brace yourself for this. You knew that eventually, this tragedy would overshadow your marriage. Because while Zayne might be your husband by law, deep down, his heart still belonged to someone else.
To her.
You two are too much alike.
It wasnât the first time he had noticed it. And it wouldnât be the last.
On bad mornings, when his eyes were bleary and he hadn't had a good sleep, he would see her instead of you in your shared bed. And with that mistaken sight came a fleeting sense of relief... until his vision cleared and he remembered she was truly gone and it was you.
Zayne knew how wrong this was on so many levels. It was terribly unfair to you.
Still, his concern for you was genuine. Seeing you lying still on the stretcher brought back that very same nightmare, and really, he truly never wanted you to be hurt.
After his outburst and your clipped response, the two of you barely exchanged any words for the rest of the week. To make matters worse, he was sent on a business trip the following week, and all in all, you went two weeks hardly speaking to each other.
And before he knew it, her death anniversary was only a couple of days away.
. . .
"How much is this?"
"Ah, the bow is 50,000 Gold, sir!"
Inside the airport's souvenir shop, Zayne examined the intricate light blue and white bow clip. Made of tweed and adorned with small pearls, it looked nice.
He thought it'd suit you well.
"I'll get this then."
"Right away!"
As the clerk went to wrap the trinket, Zayne reflected on these past two weeks. A nagging feeling twisted in his gut as he thought about how curt he had been with you in text messages and how often you had left him on read.
Husband and wife shouldn't be this way. He wanted the unbearable air between you to end. Determined to resolve things, he planned to talk to you when he returned. He was on his way to the airport taxi whenâ
"Zayne!" He stopped in his tracks, recognizing the familiar voice, and turned around.
There you were, waiting by his car with a smile.
It was never in you to stay angry for long. It was a blessing and a curse, really, because while you no longer wished to give your husband silent treatment, a part of you still felt conflicted.
"How was your trip?" you asked as you started the engine, pushing the events of the past two weeks to the back of your mind.
Zayne didn't immediately answer, and you felt his gaze on you as you drove the car. "It was okay."
You hummed in acknowledgement, and he followed up with, "How is your wound? Do you dress it daily?"
"Mm-hm. It's getting better."
"I'll have a look at it later."
"Sure."
Silence. Usually you would ramble to distract him, but now, even you werenât sure if you should.
Then, he said, "You really didnât have to pick me up. I could have made my way home on my own."
To that, you pasted on a smile. âYou always pick me up whenever I have to go on business trips. Itâs only fair I do the same for you, husband.â
Ah. Was it the wrong move? The word had slipped out so easily that you didnât realize it until after you said it.
But to your surprise, Zayne let out a chuckle and played along. "Well, thank you then, wife. It certainly felt quite off without a certain someone the past week."
So, he actually likes having you around...? The thought made you almost giddy. Despite his usual taciturn and sarcastic demeanor, you knew he was genuine in his own way.
"Bet you missed me," you teased, grinning.
He raised an eyebrow. "Oh? Are you sure it's not the other way around?"
"Nope. But I did miss getting new snowmen."
"...why do you like them so much? I've made plenty for you already."
"No particular reason. Snowman just kinda reminds me of you somehow."
The tension between you had melted away, and you felt a sense of relief. Beside you, even Zayne couldnât hide his smile. For the rest of the drive home, you chatted like you used to.
When you arrived back at your shared home, he suddenly stopped and presented you with a little box. "I got you something."
"Huh?" you paused, bewildered, as he took your hand and placed the box in it.
"Open it."
With curiosity, you lifted the lid, and were surprised at the sight of a pretty bow clip inside. "Whoa, how cute..."
Zayne eyed you expectantly. "Do you like it?"
Your eyes lit up with delight, and a smile spread across your lips.
"Yes!" you beamed at him with zero hesitation, and in that moment, something struck a chord within him. Zayne had always thought you were easy on the eyesâ
âbut when you smiled like that, you were truly charming.
"It's healing nicely."
You felt somewhat self-conscious as your husband examined your bare abdomen, where your injury was, as you lied on your bed. His hands, cool and practiced, tenderly removed your stitches.
It wasn't as if Zayne had never touched you. You two had been married for almost two years, and of course you had been intimate several times, but it wasn't as if you were a passionate couple to begin withâso you often found yourself flustered.
"Mm." Despite yourself, you squirmed. Noticing this, he looked up at you, his unfazed eyes meeting yours with a frown.
"Does it still hurt?"
"No, not really... It just feels as if you're tickling me."
He was positively unamused. "I'm not trying to tickle you."
"I know!"
Zayne wrapped your midsection securely with the bandage. When he was done, he let out a sigh and you felt like you had to show him your gratitude somehow.
âThank you, ZayneâŠâ you mumbled, avoiding eye contact. But in the next second, your heart skipped a beat as his hand rested gently on your head.
"You can thank me by being more careful next time." Your husband looked at you with the smallest of smile. "Your safety comes first, always remember that."
Without either of you realizing it, you both had tried to bury that argument from two weeks ago, yet it was still gnawing at you all the same. The thought that he too was bothered with it made you warm.
"Noted," you cheekily grinned. "If I'm not safe and sound, a certain iceman will get angry at me."
Zayne shot you an unimpressed look. âIf you come to me injured again, Iâll start charging you fees.â
You let out a dramatic gasp. "How stingy! I'm your wife, not just some stranger!"
"A very uncooperative wife, you are."
You huffed, and he chuckled. You really thought all was well between you two now, until Zayne suddenly stood up and grabbed the car keys. âWell then, rest. I have to go.â
âWhere are you going?â
âIâm going to stop by the floristââ
And it hit you. In two days. The day everything ended three years ago.
Zayne seemed to realize it too, but you quickly masked your falling smile with a faux one. "O-oh, right..."
No matter how, it's still going to be an important day to him. You had nothing against it, really. Your husband's late girlfriend had once been your colleague too, and you mourned her just like everyone else did.
Still, even with that understanding, in your heart of hearts, it remains just as bitter.
You didn't want to, but you needed to find closure. You hoped that by doing this, it would finally put an end to all your insecurities.
"Let's go together, Zayne. I want to pay her a visit too."
Two days later, you and Zayne, a bouquet of flowers in hand, stood before the grave bearing many colorful flowers and postcards.
You supposed you knew already, but seeing it firsthand, you realized just how deeply she was loved still. The outpouring of respect from the Hunter Association was evident in the tribute left behind.
"It's been a while," Zayne, dressed in his most formal black suit, said solemnly, his gaze fixed on the name etched into the pristine stone.
You watched as he knelt to place his flowers and then brought his hands together in prayer. You followed his lead, placing your own bouquet beside his.
What should you even say to her? Your mind raced with countless thoughts, but none felt right to voice before the woman who had so deeply captured your husband's heart.
In the end, when you sensed that Zayne had finished with his prayer, you decided to remain silent and rose with him.
. . .
âDoes it get easier?â you asked out of curiosity afterwards. âThree years has passed already.â
Although Zayne wasnât one for drinking, even the need won today. He didnât meet your eyes as he sipped his wine, humming thoughtfully. âSomewhat. As they say, time heals.â
You two stopped by a fine restaurant after visiting the grave. The cemetery had been a two-hour drive from Linkon City, and now it was already evening.
âShe loved jasmines,â you remarked, recalling the pot of them you once saw on her desk and the flowers overflowing at the grave earlier.
âShe did.â The alcohol seemed to loosen his tongue as he continued, âShe loved old popsicles and macarons too.â
âAnd you like them as well.â
âTo be honest, I started liking them back when we were kidsâŠâ Zayne had this pained, faraway look in his eyes as he had another sip. âShe cried over her melted popsicle and it got me to wonder if it was really that tasty...â
The idea that you had to compete with a dead woman for your husbandâs affection left a bitter taste in your mouth. You felt like you had failed thoroughly as a wife.
Despite hating yourself for asking, you needed to know. âDo I help you⊠in any way at all?â
Zayne was clearly taken aback by the question. His sharp, gray eyes locked onto you, mind whirred as he tried to grasp your meaning.
âY/N, you...â
It was foolish, you knew. But you waited with bated breath for his response, even when one wrong word could shatter your heart beyond repair. You were ready for any sort of unfavorable answer, but thenâ
âI... am glad it is you.â
His words made you look up, and you found yourself caught in his gaze. Zayneâs ashen eyes were steady, piercing into you.
âYou were there on the hardest days. And ever since, youâve always stayed by my side.â He held your gaze firmly, voice was thick with emotion you couldnât quite name. âIâm grateful for that.â
And then, with a sincerity that pierced through every uncertainty, he added, âWhat I want to say is... Iâm glad I married you, Y/N.â
You have loved him for so long. Since the days when you know he isnât yours to love, until now.
Your heart swelled with so much warmth that tears brimmed in your eyes. His acknowledgment of your presence filled you with a profound sense of belonging you never knew you needed before.
Was it the alcohol?
You suspected it might be, because in nearly two years of marriage, Zayne had never lost his control like this. As soon as the bedroom door was shut, he pushed you against the wall and devoured your lips hungrily.
âMmph!â His hands gripped your arms while his lips and tongue pried yours open. The kiss was searing, almost forceful, with the faint bitterness of wine still lingering.
âZayâŠneâŠâ you gasped between his kissesâteary, breathless, your voice trembling.
But your breathy grunts only seemed to spur him on. His dark eyes, clouded with lust, fixed on you as his hands slipped beneath your blouse, deftly unclasping your bra with a flick.
He is hot. Your husband was everything a woman desired in a man. Cool, handsome, blessed with hands that could do wondersâ
In no time, he had you naked and wet before him, and with alarming speed, he too discarded his own suit and pants, throwing them away in flurry. And you could hardly believe what you were seeing next.
He spitted on his hand, ran it along his memberâstroking himself with a practiced ease, never breaking eye contact with you. The next thing you knew, he yanked you into another burning kiss and made you topple on top of himâ
âAh!â his hands guided your hips with precision, positioning you and entering you. The instant he did, you whimpered at the sudden, sharp sting of pain.
âDoes it hurt?â he asked almost in a growl when you clung to his shoulder with uneven breaths.
It was too sudden, and you hoped the discomfort would pass, so you timidly shook your head.
âIf you donât want this, tell me to stop.â Zayne tangled his fingers in your hair, turning your face to his. âUnderstand?â
There was always a distinct, almost commanding aura about him whenever the two of you were in your marital bed. Perhaps the way his voice sound lower, but it just hit different.
And you are a willing prey... whenever he becomes that beast.
He inched inside you slowly, making you moan with each instance. He was thick, warm, and taking him in was a challenge in itself. And when he finally sheathed himself fully, your nails had made its first scratch on his skin.
You felt full, and the way your womanhood stretched and clenched around him with each breathe you took made you dizzy. Panting, you finally met his gaze. Zayneâs gray-hazel eyes were still clouded with desire as he placed his hands firmly on your hips. Unable to resist, you reached out to caress his face.
"Hmm..." he subconsciously leaned into your touch, pressing his eyes shut together. "You smell nice," he huskily muttered.
Right this moment, all negative thoughts eluded you. It felt gratifying that your husband sought your touch like this as you towered over him.
And yet, despite that...
âDo you... finally see me now?â you asked, trailing your other hand down his toned chest and starting to grind against him. Zayne drew in a sharp breath and groaned, his fingers gripping your bum tighter.
Depending on his response, you would either find peace or face another heartbreak. You had placed your happiness on this pedestal more times than you could count, and it was a cross you had to bear.
But you never received your answer.
Your husband merely gazed up at you with a dangerous gleam. And oh, you could've sworn, this sight of Zayne eyeing you as if he were about to ruin you right then and there, would live-free in your mind for many days to come.
He then buried his face in your bosom, sucking on you with such fervor that your hands instinctively reached for his head to massage his scalp. The room was soon filled with your erotic groans and the squelching sounds from where your flesh were joined togetherâ as he thrusted inside you over and over.
Right in this moment, you felt truly desired and wanted.
You are so happy. Incomparably so.
At the crack of dawn, Zayne woke with a start.
The first thing he noticed was how spent he felt, his limbs stiff and a throbbing headache pulsing at the back of his head.
Then he turned to his side, and the sight that met him twisted his gut in such a way that snapped him fully awakeâ
You were beside him, barely dressed and still deeply asleep. Your hair was a mess, and love bites were scattered across your skin, some on your chest looking almost like bruises.
It dawned on him that he, too, wasnât decent. A sudden coldness gripped him, though it wasnât just the morning air.
Him and you... last night...
Yesterday marked the third year. He meant everything he said to you, but the fact that he did this, with you, on the day of her death...
There was... nothing wrong with what he had done. You were his wife, no one could condone him for what he instigated. Yet, it still made him shiver.
And to make it worse, his thoughts from last night echoed back with vengeance, andâ
He suddenly feels so immensely guilty.
. . .
It was the best sleep youâd had all week.
When you woke, sunlight had seeped through the window, and you discovered yourself already in pajamas, tucked snugly under a blanket. Still groggy with a dull ache in your lower belly, you relished the lingering afterglow, sighing in pure contentment, until you noticed Zayne wasnât beside you.
Where did he go? You wondered amidst your haze. Sluggish, you stumbled out of the bed, flinching when your foot met the cold floor.
You eventually found him downstairs, sipping coffee at the dining table still with messy hair. "Zayne?"
He glanced up at you and nodded. There was something different about him, a subtle shift you couldnât quite place. As you took a seat across from him, you hesitated, unsure of what to say.
Before you could find the right words though, he spoke first.
"I'm... sorry," he said, his tone laced with regret, causing a sharp pang of unease inside you.
"What?" you stared at him, feeling small and unsettled. "What are you sorry for?" you questioned as you gripped the hem of your shirt.
And then came the killing blowâ
"Last night," Zayne muttered, avoiding your gaze. "I wasnât in the right frame of mind. It was a mistake."
Mistake. The word echoed in your mind, but it was still hard to grasp its full weight.
"How was thatâ" you faltered, trembling, as the realization hit you like a truck and you gasped in disbelief. "Oh..."
Her. Again, and again, and again! Even when he was married to you, even when you were the one next to him each and everydayâ even so!
Your husband considers that a night spent with youâhis wifeâa mistake!
The last of your patience snapped, as you broke down in sobs before him. "You're the worst!" you screamed at him amidst your mournful tears.
Zayne seemed taken aback at your outburst, his eyes wide. "Y/N, wait, you don'tâ"
"Screw you!" But you were beyond explanations at this point. You fled back to your bedroom. Zayne followed you suit, but you slammed the door in his face and locked it. As you collapsed onto the floor, the realization hit you with full force.
No matter what you did, you would always come secondâor not at all.
The fracture in your marriage was undeniable.
Things had changed. Your home felt colder, and the tension was so stifling that you sometimes spent the night at the Hunter Associationâs dorm just to escape it.
Zayne initially tried to reach out, but you were unwilling to listen, and eventually, he gave up. Before long, nearly a month had passed with this strain in the air.
You threw yourself into more rescue operations, using work as a distraction from the turmoil that lingered in your mind. Despite your best efforts to distract yourself, the unresolved thoughts and feelings clung to you.
"Xavier, am I lacking as a woman?"
Your frequent partner these days cracked open an eye despite his attempt to nap before todayâs rescue mission. "What...?"
"No, forget it."
Things couldn't go like this forever. It was obvious by nowâas long as he couldnât let go of his past and you couldnât accept him as he was, this marriage couldn't be saved.
Just as you headed towards the printer in the room, Xavier responded. "You talk a lot, eat a lot, and always bothering me when I'm about to sleep..."
You shot him an irked glance, disbelief evident on your face. "Hey!"
"Butâ" his clear voice cut through the air as he turned to you with half-lidded eyes. "You're exceptionally kind. If anyone can't appreciate that, then it's their loss."
At that moment, the ice inside your chest melted. To know that your own co-worker thought that kindly of you gave you a little boost of confidence.
But then Xavier added, "Sometimes you're stupid too. It's funny to watch."
"â?! You're so mean!"
A subtle smile curved on his lips as he turned to his side, ready to resume his nap. "Anyway, what are you printing?"
You feigned a huff as you gathered the papers and brought them to your desk. "Just something I need to submit when necessary."
A part of you wasnât fully committed to it, of courseâit was just that your emotions had no proper outlet even until now. As you pushed the drawer shut, a wave of bitterness washed over you as you reread the title on the blank form:
Petition for Divorce.
Zayne genuinely wanted to treat you well.
You were a nice girl. Too nice even. From the moment he laid his eyes on you some years ago, as a friend of a friend, he knew you were nothing but kind and cheery.
He still remembered that morning vividly: the hurt on your face, the tears welling up in your eyes, and then you breaking into inconsolable sobs. That sight inflicted something in himâit felt as though his own heart had been split in two.
Believe it or not, he cherished you too.
That night, even though he didnât show it, he was still mourning her. When alcohol took over his mind and he saw you, you seemed like a perfect escape. He thought that even if he forced himself on you, there would be no consequences.
He hated that he had thought that way. He hated that how, in the end, you had become a means of relief for him.
Now you couldn't even look him in the eye, and Zayne didn't want to risk trying to coax you further. You were angry with him and rightly so, but when you ignored him and went home late more often, he was worried.
It was what drove him to volunteer for the rescue mission. When he saw your name on the hunter list, he felt compelled to make sure you were okay.
. . .
It was strange to see you on duty.
With your hunter uniform and your hair tied up, you were the picture of a very capable hunter. Zayne found himself unexpectedly following your movements as you came and went.
"Dr. Zayne, are you checking your wife out?" the EMT next to him teased with a grin. "Well, when you have a pretty wife such as Y/N, of course..."
He cleared his throat and the EMT giggled as he sauntered away.
So, you were also considered attractive here. Of course you were. Zayne knew it, but he just didn't expect that anyone here would blurt it out so openly.
But that wasn't the most surprising of allâ
"Xavier, shush!" you playfully punched the blonde man next to you in the chest, your broad smile lighting up the moment. The two of you whispered closely, and Zayne found himself feeling uncomfortable, like being prickled by several needles.
He has never made you laugh so openly like that. The nagging feeling inside him grew stronger as he watched youâeven if it was just in a platonic senseâwith another man. It stirred something within him, making him want to pull that blonde aside, give him a word or two, and overthrow him altogether.
Amidst the growing storm inside him, you suddenly turned sideways and caught his eye, and Zayne could've sworn... he felt time stopped at that moment.
It was so candid that it took his breath away. The way your earnest, unclouded eyes met his. How natural you were while loading your gun...
Ah, they were right. His wife was exceptionally pretty.
But before he could fully appreciate it, you broke the eye contact and turned away, pretending as if you hadnât seen him at all.
Zayne wondered then, why did he feel so hurt all of a sudden?
Battlefields were always a place of chaos, and Zayne was no stranger to it.
He was on standby at the makeshift hospital as patients surged in, continuously aiding first-aid. Some were hunters on duty, and his heart was in his throat the entire time, anxiously hoping you wouldnât be among them.
"Doc... it still hurts," a little girl sniffled right after Zayne wrapped her injured arm with the gauze. Despite the anxiety, seeing this tearful girl softened his frown.
"It's just going to take a while, hmm?" he patted the kid in the head. "It's going to be better soon enough."
"My mom is still inside..." she said, her eyes welling up with tears. "Doc, will they get her out?"
Zayne hesitated, his thoughts briefly drifting to you. He managed a reassuring smile. "Donât worry, theyâllâ"
Crash! âall of a sudden, a loud explosion shook the hospital, the sound echoing through the chaos. The little girl clung to his coat in fear.
"Call for retreat!" someone suddenly shouted from outside. "Alert all personnel immediately!"
Retreat. The thought that you might be safe soon brought him a sense of relief. He turned to the girl, trying to keep his composure.
"Look, the hunters are retreating, it means most are already evacuated." Zayne managed a reassuring smile. "Stay here. I'll help you find her later, okay?"
He went to the survivors' camp outside, attending to the wounded and keeping a vigilant eye on each returning hunter. Even until 30 minutes later, he still hadn't seen you. Thinking to contact you, he reached out for his phone.
"Who hasn't gotten out?" Jenna, your team leader, demanded the receiver with a stern voice, standing tall several feet away from the camp, and Zayne overheard the snippets of her conversation.
A frantic voice responded, "Xavier is still inside! Y/N too!"
"Those two! They are alwaysâ!"
What?
Zayne almost dropped his phone when he heard your name. Terror gripped him instantly, and then suddenly, again, it was his greatest nightmare realized.
You are still inside. You could be hurt. It was possible you had no means to get out of there.
He didnât register letting go of his coat or crossing the police lineâall that mattered was getting to you. He sprinted away, ignoring the shouts of those trying to stop him.
No. Not again!
Debris flew everywhere, and the roars of Wanderers grew louder as he neared the building wreckage. As a splinter was about to hit him, ice shot through his palms, creating a barrier that shattered it.
"Y/N!" he shouted your name, his voice cracking with panic. "Where are you?!"
All he could think about was the memory of you bleeding out in the ER. Zayne never wanted to see that again. Should anything happen to you now...
He didn't want you to be hurt. He hated seeing you cry. For the past weeks, it had torn him apart to see you so unhappy. He wanted to be the one who made you smile, the one you looked at with love.
The realization washed over him like a tidal wave. Yet it wasnât an epiphany but a simple truth he had always known but never fully grasped until now.
If he lost you now, it'd destroy him.
He continued screaming your name over and over. And then, after turning several turns, he finally saw you, standing alone in the middle of the wreckageâ
You turned to him in surprise when you heard your name in his shout, and were rooted to the spot, in disbelief that your husband was right before you.
Zayne felt a wave of relief wash over him, until a hollow croak from above caught his attention. He squintedâ
A glass panel had crumbled and was falling directly towards you.
A sense of dread so great overwhelmed him, a lump formed in his throat, and the smoke made it hard to breathe. He sprinted forward, and with everything he had, he pushed you out the way.
The next thing he knew, everything went pitch black.
"Zayne? Zayne!"
A memory flashed in his mind's eye. The one memory he wished he didn't have to relive ever again.
Sitting on the deserted hospital bench, his eyes were vacant. Utter hollowness choked him, leaving him motionless. It was over. There was no blood on his hands, yet it felt as if there were.
Your grip on his shoulder was tight, shaking him. "Zayne, snap out of it!" and only then he brought himself to meet your eyes.
"She died." That was the only thing he could mutter, pain woven in each word. "She really died."
Your eyes widened in horror, an inaudible gasp left your lips. "Oh..."
He didn't really know what happened next, but he remembered the warmth from when you pulled him to your arms, when sobs wracked his body as he thought the world was ending.
Since then, you have always been there.
And subconsciously, he may have regarded you as his lifeline.
. . .
Another memory.
"Are you awake...?"
His mind was hazy, but he recognized your voice. He blearily opened his eyes to find you placing a cool compress on his forehead.
"Who would have thought the great Dr. Zayne can get a fever?" you said with a soft laugh, patting his hair. "Donât worry about me. Go back to sleep."
You came to see him. He remembered telling you not to. But you still did, and the fact thawed the ice in his heart.
Just as you were about to leave, his hand reached out and pulled you closer. "Donât go."
"Are you trying to make me catch your cold too?" you teased with a soft laugh.
"Hmph. Who told you to come here...?"
"Ah, so you're whiny when you're not feeling well," you observed with a smile. "Okay, I'll stay! But only if you agree to nurse me if I catch your cold!"
You were noisy, but endearingly so.
. . .
"Don't pay her any mind," you fidgeted on your seat, a frown on your face. "My mom always does that."
There was never any talk about the nature your relationship between the two of you, but it was clear to everyone nevertheless. You were always around him, and he seemed to enjoy your company just as much.
And not for the first time, your mother pushed him towards marriage with you.
"People are always getting the wrong idea," you grumbled. "Sorry, Zayne..." you lowered your head, seemingly in regret.
He was puzzled, because to him, it wasn't necessarily false. All things you did together lead to this.
"What if it isn't a wrong idea at all?"
You looked at him with slight surprise. "Huh...?"
Your presence was a gift. That tragedy was devastating, but having you constantly by his side made it bearable. He was fond of you, and the thought that if it's you, then surely...
In this memory, he was more sure than ever. What he said then, it came from the truest place in his heart.
"What if I told you... as of right now, I can't imagine being with anyone but you?"
The side of his head was throbbing with pain. Everything hurt, the hard asphalt was bruising his face as the headache set in. He could smell the scent of blood and sweat, but more than thatâ
"Zayne! Ah, hahâ Please, please! No!"
Your voice, choked with tears, blared in his ears as you desperately shook him. You sounded so heartbroken, so utterly panicked, and your voice gradually pulled him back to consciousness.
Opening his eyes took tremendous effort. At first, everything was a blur, but then it came into focusâthe sight of you disheveled, smeared with soot, with tears streaming down your face. But still youâ the woman he had married two years ago.
Yet his heart lurched. You're crying again... why is it that whenever with me, you're always crying?
"Are you... alright?" he rasped, lifting his hand to touch your face.
"Why did youâ" You were startled by his question, your gaze fixed on the blood pooling on the side of his face. "Your head is bleeding!"
Ah, so you're fine. The sheer knowledge brought him relief, a faint smile forming at his lips. "I'm glad..."
"I'll help you get back! Hold onto meâ" you said after brushing away your tears, lifting him up and draping his arm around your shoulder. "Can you walk?"
"I'm... fine..."
"You're not!" you refuted harshly, voice trembling. "You have to go back!"
You made him lean on you as you made your way back to the makeshift hospital, each step accompanied by your sniffles as you supported his waist.
Zayne glanced at you, feeling a warmth in his chest despite the migraine. "D-Don't cry... I'll be fine."
"You're an idiot!" you choked out, struggling to hold back your tears. "Why did you even come out here?"
"I... have to find you. They said you haven't returned."
"There are still civilians inside! I'll return eventually!"
"I canât wait for that. I... have to know you're safe."
His response only fueled your frustration. "You don't have toâ!"
"You are my wifeâ" he snapped, turning to you sharply, his eyes flashing with anger. "How can I not worryâ for you?"
The forceful tone in his voice went straight to the most tender part of your heart. It really struck you at that moment that he had come out here for you, that his concern for you was that profound.
And that after all these weeks, he still keeps you in his thoughts.
He had pushed you out of the way, even at the cost of himself, barely missing the fallen billboard in that violent crash. If he was in the wrong position, he could've lost his life.
You stared at him, tears glossing your eyes.
"That's enough... Don't cry again." Zayne reached out to wipe your cheeks. His hands, however, were smeared with his own blood, leaving streaks on your face. "Ah... I got blood on you..."
But in that moment, you couldnât care less. There was this indescribable sting of grief, but also paired with a sense of relief so great in your chest the very second you realize that now, he sees you.
You threw yourself into his arms, hugging him tightly as you sobbed, calling out to him in broken voice. âZ-Zayne...!â
âWhy are you crying again...?â he let out a resigned sigh, but still embraced you regardless. âWhat a crybaby...â
You buried your face deeper into him, shaking uncontrollably. âYou... saved me...â you managed to say amidst torrent of tears. âY-You... got hurt...â
âIâll be fine,â he retorted in your ear albeit in a hoarse voice, holding you close, even as blood trickled down the side of his face. âAnd Iâd do it again. I refuse to see you hurt.â
You cried harder, and he pulled you tighter, his chest aching at the sight of you so inconsolable. And in that moment, he made the decision right then and there.
He will protect you so long as time will allow him to.
It was as if the invisible wall between you had crumbled to dust after that incident. You stayed by Zayne's side night and day, monitoring his condition.
And one night, several days later...
"Here, don't move..."
You carefully dressed the wound on Zayne's temple, sitting close beside him. He quietly observed your worried eyes and trembling fingers without a word.
"You even need stitches..." you lamented, biting your lip as you wrapped the bandage around his head. Tears pricked your eyes, overwhelmed by the concern you were pouring into the task.
"I'm telling you, I'm fine," he gruffly insisted in an attempt to erase your mournful expression. He felt the delicate, almost hesitant touch of your fingers on his face. "It'll heal with time."
Even as he said that, a part of you was still troubled at the sight of the wound on his head and cheekbone. No matter what he said, you couldnât shake the feeling that it was somehow your fault.
"I'm done. Now go rest," you said softly, your voice tinged with bitterness after tying the gauze. You rose to put the kit away, but even after you finished, Zayne remained upright on the bed, so you leveled a frown at him.
"What, why aren't youâ Ah!"
Before you knew it, he pulled you by the arm, and you tumbled into his chest in surprise. "What are you doing?!" you yelled at him, clinging to his shoulder and looking up at him with ire. "You could've hit your head!"
He looked down at you with a flat expression, or is that a hint of amusement glinting in his eyes? âCan't a husband cuddle his wife?â
You blinked dumbly, caught off-guard. âYes, you can, but...â
His arms then enveloped you, fitting you on his chest and he sighed against your hair. âThen thereâs nothing wrong with it. Letâs just stay like this for now.â
And so, that was how he decided to sleep throughout the nightâwith you on top of him, held close. You felt self-conscious as Zayne had never initiated this closeness with you since that night.
"Are you sure you want to sleep this way?" you wriggled a bit in his grasp.
He draped an arm around your waist, pressing his eyes shut. "Mm-hm."
"You..." A part of you recoiled at the vulnerability but decided to ask anyway. "Won't this be⊠a mistake...?"
That caught his attention, as Zayne's eyes fluttered open. He looked down at you, who avoided his gaze with a pout and a torn expression, making yourself small in his embrace.
It dawned on him then that this persisting issue in your marriage was thoroughly his fault. His past was something he could neverâand would neverâtrade for anything, but right now, you were that sense of peace that grounded him.
At one point, he has to let it go. These feelings inside him⊠they drive him to.
He softened, his gaze full of understanding as he gently brushed your hair back. "No," he said quietly, his voice tender. "Weâve come too far for it to be one."
Your clear, innocent eyes reluctantly met his, and at that moment something akin to clarity resonated within him.
He once thought nothing could ever mend the hollowness in his heart. And once, he indeed hoped that being with you would provide some form of relief or replace what he had lost.
But right now, feeling how vulnerable you were in his arms like this, he understood that you were not, and could never be, a replacement for anything else. Even before he realized it himself, what he felt for you was something entirely differentâ something dear that had grown and evolved into a genuine affection different from what he had felt for anyone else before.
Those times spent with you, wanting to protect you... Now that he reflected on it, it was never about filling a void, after all.
âI... want to treasure you better.â
Oh. Your heart thumped loudly as those words left his lips, warmth spreading through your entire being. Overwhelmed by the sincerity in his voice, you clung to his chest, feeling a surge of love and a profound sense of being freed from the chains of insecurity that had taken you hostage all these years.
Most precious. Zayne smiled at you, pressing a kiss to the crown of your head.
âThis time for sure... I will.â
And at last... he could say it without any lingering guilt.

It all started at a lunch table, as so many friendships do.Â
The first one to sit was Hana, the nurturing soul of the group who had been a genius even back then. The next to join was Brian, the blonde bombshell whose smile brightened any room he entered. Then came Oliver, the guy who at twelve years old had stood up to the bully you couldnât face yourself and swore from that day on heâd do so for each and every one of you till the end of your days. And lastly, there was you, in many ways the glue of the little pack.Â
To say that the four of you were thick as thieves didnât even begin to cover it, as youâd been there for each other in every up and down in each of your lives since adolescence. Even when your mother passed, especially when your mom passed, thatâs when you truly knew that they werenât just your pals, but your family.Â
âOh wow,â you breathed as you gazed out the window to the destination youâd finally reached, âis this really your dadâs cabin?â you glanced over your shoulder at the man behind the wheel, a proud smirk ever on his lips.
âYep,â Rafe nodded and reached down to put the car in park.Â
Youâd met him at the beginning of this semester and it hadnât taken you very long at all to fall embarrassingly and completely head over heels for the guy.Â
Though he wasnât the first boyfriend to grow to be a part of the tight-knit clique, he hadnât been welcomed with open arms as you remembered Jerome, Brianâs partner, had two years ago. The gentle giant of few words had melted into your dynamic so naturally that none of you remembered any longer a time before him. But it wasnât like that this time, not with Rafe. For some reason, your friends just couldnât warm up to the frat guy you loved so dearly.Â
As you heard the other car roll to a stop behind you, the vehicle where the four remaining resisted, your fingers dipped down into your pocket and fished out your phone to snap a photo of the luxurious lake house and its breathtaking views, though thatâs when you noticed the lack of bars up in the upper corner of the screen.
âOh, damn itâŠâ you squinted down at your phone, âis there seriously no service out here?âÂ
âYeah, sorry I forgot to tell you,â Rafe snatched out the keys, âthis place is pretty off-grid, you have to probably walk half an hour or something to get any signal.â
The dry leaves on the forest floor crunched beneath your shoes as you stepped out of the car and tipped your head back to glance up at how high the surrounding pine trees stretched up towards the cloudy sky.Â
As Rafe hopped up onto the wide porch and fiddled with a bundle of keys to unlock the place, your gaze kept finding him as you hung back a while and helped your friends unload their car.
âCan you all please promise to play nice this weekend?â you quietly asked them.Â
âYeah,â Oliver huffed, yanking out a heavy duffle bag, âIâll play nice if he does, which I sincerely doubt since I havenât yet discovered one kind bone in his body.âÂ
âOh, come on,â you defended your beau, âheâs the one who suggested this trip so that you could all finally discover what a sweet guy he actually is,â before you all ascended the short steps and filtered into the abode.Â
Not soon after you all crossed the threshold, Rafeâs arms seized your waist and drew you back against him, whispering in your ear that he wanted to give you the grand tour of the house.Â
However, when you reached the room that was to belong to the two of you for the rest of the weekend, his ulterior motives for the journey around the cabin became crystal clear.Â
At first, when he wrapped his arms around you from behind as you gazed out the tall windows at the foot of the bed, a giggle bubbled in your belly as you felt his desire poke the small of your back. Though it was already during his palmâs swift voyage under the hem of your shirt and up towards your boobs that he let slip what crucial item heâd neglected to pack.Â
âYou didnât bring any condoms?â you twisted around to glare at the persistence that still sparkled in his eyes.
âOh, come on, donât let that fact spoil our fun,â he pulled you back into his arms, âdonât you want me to dick you down this weekend, huh?â he murmured in your ear.
âWell, I donât wanna get pregnant,â you slowly pushed him back, âso itâll just have to be another weekend.â Â
But then he seized your hand and brought it down to the palpable tent in his jeans, âbabe, come on. Just feel how hard I am. You canât just leave me like this, not when itâs your fault to begin with.â
Your mouth then fell open as a shy scoff rolled off your tongue, âI literally havenât done a thing, how is it my fault?â
âCome on, donât act like a prude,â his grip around your wrist shifted and it slid down to rub your palm against his hardness, âbe a good girl and at the very least get down on your knees.â
âNo,â you chuckled lightly and pushed yourself off of him enough to stumble closer towards the bedroomâs exit, âif youâre so desperate, then take care of it yourself.âÂ
Even though winter was creeping ever nearer, each one of you still dared to go down to the lakeâs small pier and soak up the mild rays of autumn sun that peeked out behind the clouds. Both Hana and Oliver even gathered enough courage to take a dip in the cool water, though werenât successful in any of their attempts at talking the rest of you into the same.Â
Though when your friends in the water began to splash at one another, Oliver teasingly let some splatter upon Brian as he sat on the edge, eyes closed and face turned up towards the sky as he relaxed back against his boyfriend.Â
âOh my god! Donât!â he tensely straightened up, his tone startling Jerome enough that his palm that rested on Brianâs waist tightened, âstop! Youâre giving me flashbacks to summer camp!âÂ
As you heard your grinning friend in the lake apologise, you opened your mouth to note, âthatâs right, I forgot you went to camp when we were kids.â
âYeah, it was honestly revolting,â Brian recoiled slightly at the recollection, âmosquitoes, terrible food, even worse people. Had a big old lake just like this one,â he gestured to the surrounding landscape.Â
âActually,â Rafe then spoke up, his voice booming to your ears as he sat directly behind you, his legs slotted on either side of your frame as his chin rested atop your shoulder, âthis place used to be a summer camp too back when my dad bought it.â
âReally?â Hana glanced up from the water, their childish game now halted.Â
âYeah, I mean,â Rafe cast a glance over his shoulder at the structures on the bank just behind him, âit had been abandoned and completely deserted for a long time, but a lot of the buildings, the main house and the shed and stuff, theyâre the original cabins just renovated.â
âYour dad bought an abandoned camp?â Oliver scrunched up his face, âokay, creepyâŠâ
âOh, hell no, Iâm out,â Brain began to unravel, âbabe, if we wake up in the middle of the night to a ghost child standing at the foot of our bed, itâs your job to take care of it,â he glanced over his shoulder at Jerome, âIâm too delicate and pretty to deal with the paranormal, especially if itâs kids,â to which his boyfriend simply hummed in agreement and soothingly let his palm run down his partnerâs arm.
âOh, this place isnât haunted,â Hana said after sheâd swam up to clutch against the side of the pier, âcalm down.â
âWell, you donât know that, it might be,â the blonde man behind you shrugged, âespecially with what apparently happened here back in the dayâŠâ
âWhat are you talking about?â you looked back at him.Â
âWell, back like forty years ago or something, when this was still a camp, there was this one counsellor who one day just went nuts, like snapped and murdered every single person there,â Rafe told, purposely making his tone more ominous the further into the story he got, âthatâs why the place was shut down and abandoned, why no one ever wanted to return it to its former glory. Itâs one of the most gruesome unsolved cases in this entire corner of the country.â
âWait, unsolved?â Brian clutched his imaginary pearls.Â
âYeah, the guy was never caught, supposably never even left these woodsâŠâ he then leaned in and attempted to truly spook you all, âat night if you listen closely, you can still hear him sharpening his blade, getting ready to hunt his next preyâŠâ
Hana, assuming that he was only joking, let out a dry laugh to cut the tense silence that had fallen over you all, âokay, very funny, ha-ha.âÂ
âYeah,â you gently rubbed your boyfriendâs arm as you tried to shake the tale off of you, âletâs maybe not joke about psychopaths running around a rural area when we actually are in a rural area,â though goosebumps still pricked and tingled every inch of your skin.Â
âWait, how did it go?â your giggle mingled with Oliverâs as you both leaned against the kitchen counter, nearly bumping your foreheads together from how hard you were laughing, âwas itâŠâ and you began to hum a faint melody.Â
âNo because, remember, at the end it went,â your friend cut you off and then made his own attempt, though much more accurate than your own, causing your eyes to promptly light up with recognition before they crinkled together in laughter as he tried to hit the high note at the end.Â
Once the woods surrounding the cabin had succumbed to darkness, the group of you all decided to wrap the day up in a bit of merriment, going through Rafeâs fatherâs liquor stash and turning up the music.Â
During your and Oliverâs secluded moment in the kitchen away from the rest, your laughter caused you to sway even closer to one another, your palm naturally planting itself on his chest as your faces nearly touched.Â
Though just as the pair of you were doubled over, a figure appeared in the doorway.
âOh,â your grin continued as you spotted your boyfriend, âhey baby,â though your laughter finally began to fade.Â
Staring daggers at the man beside you, Rafe then uttered coldly, âhey,â before his feet carried him straight towards you, seized your waist and twisted you away from your friend and towards himself to capture your lips.Â
âOkay, right,â Oliver exhaled as Rafe kept marking his territory, kissing you way more passionately than he needed to, âIâll just see you guys back in the living room thenâŠâ
You tried to tilt away enough to utter your friend a reply, though your boyfriend didnât allow you, only let you go once Oliver was long gone and Rafe returned to his original plan of cracking open the fridge to get a cold beer for himself.Â
Walking back out into the living room while your boyfriend scavenged for a bottle opener, you plopped yourself back down on the couch, on the opposite side to where Brian and Jerome were snuggled up. Next to where the lit fireplace crackled sat Oliver in a chair and not far from his feet on the fuzzy carpet rested Hana, legs crisscrossed as she held up her wine glass to stare through it.Â
When Rafe rejoined you all, a freshly glowing cigarette trapped between his lips as he sauntered out of the kitchen, he situated himself right beside you, making space for himself where there hadnât really been previously. In his hand, he didnât just balance his own drink, but also a stout glass filled with an amber liquid, one he swiftly handed off to you even though you hadnât asked for it, yet that had still been the routine of the evening, and after the first one was sloshing on your belly, the others became harder to deny and not accidentally sip absentmindedly, especially when heâd playfully help you along by tilting the glass the remaining distance up towards your lips.Â
âSweetie,â Hana soon leaned closer to utter for your ears only, âdonât you want a glass of water instead?âÂ
Though your boyfriend beside you unfortunately overheard and grasped his cigarette between two of his longer fingers, a puff of smoke accompanying his words as he answered before you got the chance to, âsheâs fine.â
From across the couch, as Hana scooted back to her spot on the carpet, having not caught the quiet interaction, Brian then suggested, âwhy donât we play a game or something?âÂ
âWhat, like truth or dare?â Hana leaned back against an unoccupied armchair.Â
âNo, this isnât a slumber party. Isnât there like board games here?â
Brianâs glance then drifted to Rafe as he smothered his cigarette in the nearby ashtray and, without warning, pulled you into his lap and caught Oliverâs eye from across the room as he shamelessly let his hands wander across your frame. Â
âUh, yeah. There should be some in the cabinet over there,â Rafe vaguely gestured before his lips began to nip at the side of your neck, making your eyes flutter and only half watched along as Brian then got up to skim through the aforementioned cupboard.Â
âOkay,â he glanced through the options, âthere are cards, so we could play poker or something,â
âNo way,â Oliver swiftly shook his head and shot a glance at Jeromeâs bulky form, comfortably slumped on the couch, âIâm not repeating that fiasco again.âÂ
âAw,â Brian glanced back at his friend, âbut it was so cute seeing my boyfriend fucking demolish you,â and Jerome, the quiet man he was, just let out a grunt in agreement.
âNo, pick something else,â Oliver waved a hand.Â
âWell, weâve got monopoly, scrabble, cards against humanityâ, uh! Thereâs clue!â he excitedly picked up the box and spun around, âoh, work! Letâs play that!âÂ
With his kisses still dancing along your skin, they then suddenly ceased as Rafe announced, âyou guys go ahead, I think Y/n is ready for bed.âÂ
Shooting a concerned glance at how your intoxicated form wobbled slightly as your boyfriend helped you up on your feet, Hana uttered, âoh, are you sure?âÂ
âShe is,â Rafeâs touch clung to you, âarenât you babe?âÂ
âOh, uhmâŠâ you hadnât really noticed it before, but now that he mentioned it, as if he himself planted the thought in your hazy mind, all of the alcohol had in fact made you pretty sleepy, âyeah, I guess so.âÂ
âAlright, well then,â Hanaâs voice stayed slightly hesitant, âsleep tight.â
âI love you guys,â you blew the group kisses as Rafe helped you over towards the stairs.Â
His kisses made you even more dizzy than you already were, so when you stumbled over the threshold into your shared room, you flopped down onto the mattress, though you werenât quite sure if youâd just fallen or if Rafe had manhandled your intoxicated and pliant frame, giving you a push before his form was atop of yours.Â
Though now that you were horizontal and with the weight of a frat boy squishing you further down into the bed, that was when you truly noticed just how much youâd had to drink that evening.Â
The room was spinning as Rafe made out with you, his palms raking across your body like a wild storm, squeezing every soft curve he could get his hands on. As one hand disappeared up your skirt, his kisses wandered down and over your throat to the bit of your chest that was exposed in the neckline of your top. Wasting no time at all, he then yanked down the hem, catching one of the cups of your bra as well as he unwrapped your tit like a present.Â
As his face was buried in your boobs, surely giving you hickeys from the way that he sucked at your pebbly nipple and the surrounding sensitive skin, a breathless attempt at halting his affections left your lungs, âbabyââÂ
Though he didnât take the whimper as youâd intended it and simply continued, âshit, youâre so fucking hot,â he yanked down the other sliver of mesh fabric covering your other boob, âgod, these tits are just insane.âÂ
Weakly, you ran your fingers through his buzzed hair and gasped as you felt his hardness grind into your covered core, âRafe, IââÂ
âYeah?â his lips began to flutter back up to your own as he let himself rock against you with more intent, âyou want this big dick, huh?âÂ
âNo, we canât, we donât have aââ
âOh come on, baby,â he shifted, slipping a hand down under the waistband of your skirt and into your underwear, not hesitating to sweep his fingers through your wetness and bully your little button, âI know you want toâŠâÂ
âStop, that feels too good,â you tried, but couldnïżœïżœt yank his strong hand away, âyou canâtâ, I have to get up and brush my teeth.âÂ
âYou know, all my exes let me tap it raw,â he purred in your ear and attempted to guilt you, âwhy wonât you? Donât you trust me?â his touch then suddenly disappeared, but only to tug down the zipper on the side of your short skirt.
âOf course I do, I justââ
âThen why wonât you let me make you feel good, huh?â he yanked both your skirt and panties down your legs, so fast it nearly gave you whiplash. Crawling off of your jelly-like form, he stood tall and loomed at the foot of the bed. Wasting no time, he yanked your core closer to the edge before he desperately freed his fat cock. The taps he then offered your glistening cunt, letting you reel in the weight of his length, âdoesnât that feel nice, baby?â he smirked at the way your mouth fell open, âbecause it sure seems like your little pussy thinks so, just look,â you followed his command and glanced down to spot how his intimidating girth nudged at your weepy petals.Â
Even after months of dating, you still hadnât gotten used to the daunting size of him.Â
âOh, fuckâŠâ your brows knitted together.Â
âJust listen to that,â he flicked the bulbous tip through your slick folds with more vigour, causing the melody of your want to echo even louder throughout the bedroom, âyouâre so fucking wet. You want it so badâŠâ
You then felt yourself fade away into the intoxicating sensation, letting him continue to fuck your fold and make your pussy drool even further till your eyes fluttered shut.Â
However, it didnât take very long at all, through all of the hazy motions, before the very tip of him caught your entrance and slipped inside.Â
âRafe!â you gasped, eyes snapping back open as your spine lurched off the mattress just an inch.Â
âFuck,â he let out a loud groan, âsorry, babe. Youâre just too soaked, it slipped in,â though didnât move at all to pull it back out, since it had secretly been completely on purpose, âchrist, youâre so tightâŠâ
As he slipped his shirt over his head and tossed it to the side, you pleaded once more, âRafeâŠâ quietly begging for him to take it out through the conflicting haze as the familiar sensation of him stuffing you full always shut your brain completely off.
âThis doesnât count,â he claimed as he began to move, pumping just the bulbous head of himself in and out of your little hole, ânot really. I can fuck you with just the tip, right?â a few of his fingers then lowered to strum your clit and summon a loud moan from deep within your soul, âyeah, thatâs what I thoughtâŠâ
As he removed his fingers from your clit, he then stuffed them in your mouth, muffling your soft whimpers and letting you suck them clean of your juices. As the taste of yourself coated your tongue, your own hands came up to clutch his, holding it near as you soon let your pecks wander across his palm and even down to plant a soft kiss to the gold ring that never left his finger.
âOhâ,â a gasp then left your lungs as he suddenly pushed in a bit more of his length, âRafe, thatâs too deep,â selfishly letting himself feel more of your warmth.Â
âNo, thatâs not too deep,â he began to fuck you properly, making you lose your breath, âyou wanna know what is too deep?â a purposefully harsh thrust then buried itself so far inside of you that a tingle of pain joined the pleasure, âthatâs too deep,â he then retracted just a tad, though still filled you up completely with each long stroke, âthis is just right.âÂ
âWe canâtâ,â you foggily tried to shake your head.Â
âYes, we can. Just look how good youâre taking me, baby,â the palm youâd been clutching then escaped your grasp and scooped behind your head to tilt your neck and lock it there, directing your glance down between your bodies and forcing you to spot the faint bulge that appeared at each one of his mind-melting thrusts, âyou donât wanna stopâŠâ
Feeling that all too familiar high begin to fuzz up your periphery, you trembled, âo-oh, fuckâŠâÂ
âYou feel so fucking goodâŠâ he grunted as your pussy began to clench around his fat girth, âjust let me use you for a bit, yeah?âÂ
âIâ, Iâ,â gasps of air expanded your lungs as his pace then thrust you over the edge, âholy shitâŠâ and your cunt helplessly clambered around him.Â
In your orgasmic haze, Rafe then abruptly flipped you around for you to lay on your stomach, and you barely managed to process it before you felt the weight of him settle atop of you, smooshing you down into the mattress as he slid back in.Â
âAh!â you yelped at the way he didnât hold back, âRafe, itâs too much,â not even bothering to grant you a chance to recover, but simply fucked through your soreness, âI canâtââ
âOh, shut up, you can take it,â he growled in your ear, his feet hooking your ankles and spreading your shaky legs further for him, âtake it like the good little slut you are.â
It was strange how heâd taught your body to love the pain he inflicted. Even if the source was just his god-given gift of a girth, or curse, all depending on your point of view, and not the roughness he occasionally let slip out of the dark depths he tried to hide his jagged sides in for you and you alone. Â
âFuck,â you soon heard him groan as his heavy sack slapped against your cunt at each one of his furious rocks, âIâm gonna cum!âÂ
âPull outâ,â you managed to mumble into the sheets.
âWhat?â he kept on pounding your poor pussy.Â
âNot inside,â you tilted your head a bit to beg, âplease!â
âOh my god, fine,â he then begrudgingly pulled out and with one hand flipped you back onto your stomach as the other wrapped around his cock and he began to fuck his fist. Pushing himself up onto his knees, he crawled further up your body till his thighs caged you in, denting the mattress on either side of your face. He didnât even wait for your lips to part before he shoved his dick down your throat, making you gag as he groaned loudly above you, âfuckâŠâ and fed you his load. Â
When he soon flopped down on the bed beside you, the both of you catching your breaths, you instinctively gulped down what heâd given you before you curled your frame into his side.Â
As he wrapped an arm beneath your head, his glance then flickered down to you as he caught your chin with his thumb and forefinger, tilting you up to him before he asked, âdid you swallow it?â digging his digit slightly into your skin and making you open your mouth for him, letting him discover the answer him himself, âfuck⊠thatâs my girlâŠâ he groaned before dipping down to kiss you.Â
The peck however didnât carry on for long as his warmth then suddenly disappeared.Â
âWhere are you going?â you watched as he got up, reaching out your arms to him in a silent plea for cuddles.Â
âIâm thirsty,â he zipped his pants back up, though didnât bother with his shirt, âyou just try and fall asleep, Iâll be right back.âÂ
Flashing him a drowsy smile, âokay,â you then tug the duvet over your form and let your gaze shadow him as he made his way out of the room.Â
You thought you hadnât managed to fall asleep, but evidently, you had as when the door to the room suddenly burst open, you were jolted awake, Rafe as well stirring as he was now settled behind you with an arm draped over your frame.Â
As three of your friends rushed to slam the door behind them, Rafe propped himself up and mumbled, âhey, what the fuckââ
But Hana then cut him off, a downright terrified look plastered not only all over her own face, but the rest as well.
âOliverâs dead,â she uttered through the tears that thickened up her voice.Â
Still groggy, you slowly sat up and murmured, âwhat?â
Snapping her bloodshot eyes to lock with yours, she bellowed, âOliver is fucking dead!âÂ
As your gaze flickered over the group in search of any sign that what she claimed wasnât true, you heard Rafe behind you exhale, âokay, this isnât funny.â
âOh shut up, you dick!â Brian shot back, doubled over in the corner, hyperventilating as Jerome kneeled before him, trying to calm him down.Â
âHey, hey,â you gently raised up a hand, âdonât talk to him like that. What the hell do you mean Oliver is dead?â
âI mean that heâs dead as in dead, dead,â Hana explained, her words causing the world to suddenly crumble all around you, âJerome went outside to get something from the car and found him on the porch, not moving and with his head stuck under the water in the hot tub.âÂ
With tears now stinging the corners of your eyes, you struggled to suck in a breath of air, âwhat?â
âItâs that fucking ghost story you told us,â Brian panicked in the corner, âitâs real, isnât it?âÂ
âOkay,â Rafe uttered as the both of you leapt out of bed and scrambled to get some clothes on, âletâs all just calm down.â
âWe gotta call the police,â Hana said, to which Jerome swiftly pulled out his phone, only to then curse quietly as he discovered what Brian too noticed when he glanced over his shoulder.Â
âFuck, we canât, thereâs no signal!â
Hana then glanced around at everyone, âwell then one of us has gotta drive and find some, right?âÂ
âHell no,â Brian shuttered, âif thereâs some psycho out in these woods, then Iâm not staying behind to get murdered. Weâre all going.â
So thatâs how, after youâd all scurried downstairs and filtered out through the sliding door to the porch, that you saw the truth with your own eyes.Â
Even though his head was obscured beneath water, the unmoving corpse of your dear friend still caught your eyes and stopped you in your tracks.
âOh my godâŠâ you sobbed, your blood running cold.Â
But before you could let your feet carry you closer to the scene of the crime, Rafe seized your arm and uttered, âbaby, come on,â before pulling you along the last short distance towards the cars, âIâm sorry, but we gotta go.â
Though when you did reach the vehicles and attempted to start them, neither one of them would as theyâd seemingly been tampered with, forcing the panicked lot of you all to run back inside.Â
âShitâŠâ Brian clutched onto the back of the couch in the living room for support, âwhat do we do now?â
âWe canât go on foot, not in the dark through this forest,â Rafe spoke, âso we gotta stay here till morning.â
Glancing around the space, Hana uttered, âthen we gotta make this place safe. Lock all the doors and windows, find somewhere to hide.âÂ
âYeah, good idea,â your boyfriend nodded before suggesting, âletâs split up, itâll be faster that way. Y/n with me, weâll take that side of the house, and the rest of you stay over here.âÂ
And before anyone could protest, heâd yanked you down a dark hallway.
You nearly stumbled twice as Rafe dragged your shaking visage through the lake house, only stopping once youâd reached a large closet.Â
âIn here, baby,â he shoved you inside, though began to shut the door before he nuzzled himself in as well.Â
âNo, what are you doing?â tears streaming down your face, you attempted to stop him.Â
Though he only halted his efforts a second, grasping your face as he uttered, âplease, just stay here.â
âNo, itâs too dangerous,â you clutched onto his dark t-shirt, âyou canâtââ
âBabe, I canât let anything happen to you. I canât lose you,â he then collided his lips with your own, a sob escaping your lungs as he briefly kissed you, âplease, just stay right here, hide, for me.âÂ
Slowly, you loosened your trembling grip on his shirt and cried, âI love you.âÂ
âIâll be right back!â he promised before shutting the closet door and bathing you in darkness.Â
You had no idea how much time passed, if it was only a few seconds or hours that you stayed in the dusty and dim abyss of that closet, but then when a loud crash and a shrill scream suddenly found your ears, your shaky hand pushed the door back open.
Youâd never in your life been as terrified as you were when you found yourself tip-toeing down that long, dark hallway. Though, as you sneaked past the ajar door to the study, your entire body suddenly froze up at the massacre that met you within.Â
Unmoving and slumped over the threshold, there lied Jerome, his face beaten to a pulp, rendering it nearly unrecognisable as blood slowly trickled into the tight curls on the top of his head.Â
Past where Hana was lying in the middle of the room, battered and coughing, in the corner you saw as a tall figure, masked by a dark motorcycle helmet, crouched over the still form of Brian and landed the last few blows to claim his life.Â
âPlease,â Hanaâs words were gurgled by blood as the killer slowly straightened back up. Twisting ever so slightly, the assailant plucked out one of the clubs from the gold bag that leaned against one of the tall bookcases, âjust let me go,â your last living friend begged as you watched the murderer wrap his long fingers around the handle and take the few steps to where Hana lied, âjust let meââÂ
As he took a wide swing and hit your friend right in her temple, the loud crack that echoed throughout the cabin made you shutter in terror and let out an uncontrollable scream, causing the killerâs head to snap up to spot you in the dark hallway.Â
For a second you both just stood there, frozen and staring at one another, like two deer in headlights. But then, as he began to move, taking his time as he stepped over the bodies littering his path, you stumbled back and collided with the wall directly behind you.Â
You tried to run, but even though you managed to slip out the wide glass doors and escape a good distance into the dark forest surrounding the house, the masked man still caught up to you and flung you against a tree. As he had you cornered, you felt him drag the cold tip of the golf club up your right leg and over your shuttering skin, drawing a crimson line of your belovedâs blood across your goosebump-ridden flesh.Â
âP-please donât kill me, pleaseâ,â you cried, but just then, the moonlight that streamed through the dense treetops caught in a glint of gold that adorned the hand that clutched the club, a recognizable ring that caused your heart to drop.Â
As your eyes then flickered up to the dark helmet, that too seemed oddly familiar now that you truly looked at it.Â
In some sick and twisted way, you hoped that the killer had just stolen the jewellery from your boyfriend as a trophy of the nightâs conquest and not the horrifying alternative.Â
But when you then tried to slip away and the man pushed you back, your hands defensively shot up, though only managed to knock the helmet off his head and let it tumble to the dark forest floor below, unveiling the earth-shattering truth.Â
âOh my godâŠâ you gasped, eyes wide as you now stood face to face with your boyfriend.Â
âShh,â he took a step closer to you, caging you in even further, âcalm down, baby. Donât do anything stupid now.âÂ
âTheyâ⊠they were rightâŠâ the warnings your now deceased friends had given you since the moment you got involved with the frat boy buzzed in your mind, though when theyâd light-heartedly called him a psycho, you never in your wildest dreams thought that they would have been correct in their choice of words, âI canât believe they were rightâŠâ
A low sigh then escaped Rafeâs lungs.Â
âYou really should have just stayed hidden like I told you to⊠I didnât want you to find out this way⊠it would have been so much simpler if youâd just bought into the story I made upâŠâÂ
âYou killed my friendsâŠâ your chest ached with every painful gasp of air, âhowâ⊠how could you?âÂ
âOh, honeyâŠâ his head tilted slightly as the corners of his lips twitched, âdo you really think this is my first time?âÂ
Staring back at him in horror, you sputtered, âw-why?â
âBecause of you,â he uttered as if it was obvious, âit was all for you,â his feet shifted him even closer to you, âthey were a bad influence, so this was the only way.â
âThey were my family!âÂ
âThey were like a poison, all of them, trying to control you, trying to take you away from me,â he inched in even closer, making you wish the harsh bark that scratched up your spine would simply open up like a portal and let you escape, âI know Hana was trying to get you to break up with me⊠Oliver always followed you around like a lost puppy, just hoping youâd one day spread your legs for him⊠and Jerome and Brian? They were just plain annoying,â his hot breath fanned across your skin as he petted the edges of your features with a knuckle of the hand clutching the golf club, âI did it all for you, for us, because I love you⊠fuck, you have no idea how much I fucking love you, babyâŠâ he uttered before bringing the bud of the improvised weapon down upon the side of your head and knocking you clean out.Â
When you came to, the flicking light from a lit fireplace was the only source of light in the dim room you found yourself in. Arms folded up behind your head, a long rope was tangled around them and stretched up to a beam in the ceiling above. Your legs too were tied, keeping your naked frame upright and locked in place in the middle of the room.Â
âFucking finally,â a low voice echoed from the chair across the chamber, causing you to wince as the tone pierced your soul and worsened your splitting headache, âyou really took your sweet time waking up.âÂ
Blinking back at your boyfriend as he leaned back in the seat, pants undone and his hard length tight in his fist, a murmur escaped your lips, ââŠyou knocked me outâŠâ
âYeah, Iâm sorry about that,â he got up and walked towards your suspended form, âbut you didnât give me any other choice.âÂ
As he slowly neared you, your glossy eyes flickered up to meet his.
âRafe, please,â you heard your voice break as you tried to keep your tone soft, âyou donât have to do this. Just untie me, I promise I wonât be mad at you.â
âOh yeah?â a small scoff slipped through his smirk.Â
âYes. Iâll do whatever you want, just please let me go,â you begged, âplease donât hurt me.âÂ
âShh, shh,â his palm rose up to stroke your hair before letting it rush down and over the curves of your exposed body, âbut youâve been such a bad girl. I think you deserve a lesson that hurts a little bit,â his palm then slapped your pussy, still soaked and sore from earlier, rendering you to let out a shrill yelp, âitâs okay, you can cryâŠâ he briefly leaned in to kiss your cheek before he shifted, though still staying so close that his nose ghosted along your skin as he made his way around to stand directly behind you, âyou look so pretty when you doâŠâ
You then squirmed as he reached down to grasp his cock and nudge at your sensitive entrance, âRafe, pleaseâ, ah!â a cry then left your form as he ruthlessly rammed his way inside, plugging you up so completely that his balls nuzzled against your slick skin.Â
âFuck!â his moan tickled the shell of your ear as he tangled his arms around your torso, âyouâre so perfectâŠâ he began to move, finding a selfish pace to wreck you with, âso perfect and all mineâŠâÂ
As his thrusts caused your tits to jiggle, one of his wide hands soared up to grasp one while the other one snaked up to wrap around your throat. He then squeezed it fiercely enough that all your noises eventually faded away and he kept you completely quiet for a good moment before his hold slackened and he once again granted you the privilege of gasping for air.Â
âThis is all you need, just me, only me,â he grunted, âjust like this, using your pretty little hole for exactly what it was made for⊠you were made for me and nobody else⊠no oneâŠâ
His grip then drifted down to dent your hips before he lifted them, raising your bound frame till your tip toes were barely grazing the cold floor. Your back arched slightly as he repeatedly brought your hips back to him, his balls sloppily slapping against your swollen clit each time he manoeuvred your body and treated you like a toy.Â
When he then hooked an arm around your front to keep moving your body greedily against him, it granted the other one the grace to roam your frame freely.Â
As his fingers found one of your nipples in a harsh pinch, he let out a groan at the way you began to clamper down around his fat girth, âare you gonna cum, baby? Huh?â his palm then slapped your tit, âbecause it sure fucking feels like youâre close,â before he suddenly retracted completely, slipping out of your drooling cunt and causing a shy whimper to slip from your lips, one he swiftly cut off when he smacked your cheek, âtoo bad. Youâre not allowed to.âÂ
As you shakily struggled to stay on your unsteady feet, you panted, âRafe, my legs, I canâtââ
âOh yeah?â he mockingly pouted at you as he sauntered around to your front, âdo they hurt? Are you tired?â and as you offered him a nod, his fingers grasped your chin, âwell,â his thumb slowly stretched up to trace your bottom lip, âif you promise that youâll be a good girl for me, then Iâll give you a little break.â
âYes, I will,â a tear rolled down your still stinging cheek.Â
âYou will what?â his palm briefly slapped the side of your face once again before returning to the same hold.Â
âIâll be your good girl, Iâll do whatever you want,â you begged and as he then sank down to his knees, grabbed a pocketknife resting on a nearby table and held up his end of the bargain, slicing through the ropes at your legs and cutting them loose. A new wave of sobs tumbled out of your form, âthank you! Oh, thank you so much!â
Tossing the blade far away before he rose back up, âyouâre fucking welcome, baby,â he then caught you off guard as he suddenly plucked your lower half up into his arms.Â
âW-wait, I thought youâd give me a break!â your legs trembled in his grasp as he slide you back onto his fat cock.Â
âYeah, your legs were tired, so Iâm being nice and giving them a break,â the wet claps of your skin roughly colliding once again filled the dark room, âyour pussy doesnât deserve one yet⊠unless of course, this is you begging me to fuck your assâŠâ a wicked wish that heâd been begging you for ever since the very first time he banged you.Â
âNo! No, not there, please, Iâve neverââ
âOh, I know you havenât,â he smirked, âthatâs what makes it so much more funâŠâ
âPlease, Rafe,â you blinked back at him, âdonât.â
âYou told me I could do whatever I wantâŠâ he angled his bucks right against that spot that caused your teeth to dig into your lower lip, âyou promised to be a good girl for me and just take whatever I give youâŠâÂ
âI will,â your eyes couldnât help but flutter, âjust please not that.â
He then let a dollop of his spit splatter directly against your face, âalright, but only because I love you,â before he dipped down to plant a feverish kiss against your lips, âtell me that you love me too.â
âI love you,â you murmured against his mouth.Â
âHuh?â one of his hands let go of you and he shifted to balance you with only one, letting the other instead drift down between your forms to bully your puffy pearl, âwhat was that?â
âI loâ, a-ah!â you suddenly whined as he pressed one of his fingers inside your pussy, not caring in the slightest that you were already completely filled up as he forced his digit in alongside his fat cock.Â
âCome on, baby,â he stared down at you, âtell me you love me,â and kept up his ruthless pace as he hooked the finger inside of you, âtell your soulmate just how much you love and adore him, how you want nothing more than to worship him at his feet.âÂ
âIâ, Iâ, Rafe,â you gasped, feeling as if he was splitting you in half, âitâs too muchââ
âNo, itâs not too much, itâs exactly right, you can take it, baby.âÂ
âI canâtââ
âI donât fucking care,â he continued to fuck you without remorse, slamming his intimidating length so deep inside of you that you nearly couldnât breathe, âI wanna feel you cum, just like this.â
âRafeââ
âDo it or Iâll get a lot meaner,â he warned you before he finally got what he wanted. Your squirt drizzled down on the floor as the intensity caused a scream to erupt from your form, âthere you go, fuck,â he groaned as he watched your pussy gush around his girth, âthatâs it,â before the way your cunt clambered down around him caused him to let go as well, âshit,â and pump you full of his cum.Â
Rafe pressed a peck to your forehead before he pulled out of your warmth and you breathlessly glanced down to watch as his hot load began to leak out of your quivering hole.Â
âAlright, baby,â he exhaled and then uttered words that caused a shiver to trickle down your spine, âforeplayâs over. I think youâre ready for your punishment now.â

yuuji calls sukuna a lot.
it's almost like second nature to him now, muscle memory even, so many years since getting his first cellphone; any time he finds himself idle, maybe on his walk home after his part-time job, or on a break between his college classes, he picks up his phone and dials his older brother without thinking. they never talk about anything of importanceâmaybe just what yuuji did that day, or some gossip he overheard, or what the two of them should have that night for dinnerâbut he still makes the call.
sukuna always acts annoyed when he answers, greeting him with a characteristically terse 'yeah, what?' that yuuji never pays any mind to. but he still answers the callâat least most of the timeâand that simple truth speaks volumes in and of itself.
sukuna's phone rings at a few minutes past 1am, and his little brother's name lights up the caller ID.
"yeah, what?" sukuna snaps groggily, holding his phone up to his ear. he'd passed out on the couch soon after he got home from work, a half-drunk and now room temperature can of beer left abandoned on the table in front of his spread knees. yuuji's babbling starts as soon as the call connects and his brother greets him, and it takes sukuna a moment to make sense of him.
"â'n now i can't finder!"
"the hell are you talking about, dumbass?" the elder of the two grumbles, scrubbing a hand across his face. his brother's voice is panicked and hard to understand.
"we got spliddup at the bar, 'n now i dunno where she is anymoreâ"
"don't know where who is? fuck, are you hammered?" sukuna complains, sitting himself upright on the sofa as he wipes sleep from the corner of his eyes, suddenly a bit more awake than he was when the phone first rang.
yuuji says your name with a croaking, worried voice, and sukuna sighs exasperatedly. he stares down pensively at the can of beer he forgot to drink on the coffee table, then his eyes flicker to a framed photo hanging on the wall across the roomâthe glass smudged, frame slightly crooked, and photograph sun-bleached from the years it's spent hanging there.
"just..." he grunts as he pushes himself up to his feet, "fuckin' send me the address and stay where you are, idiot."
it's not hard to find his little brother once he arrives to the address yuuji sent himâespecially since the youngest itadori brother is waiting (as promised) right by the entrance of the familiar bar near the university campus where both you and yuuji attend classes. it's still busy for so late in the night, but the clubs are closed now and little bars like this are the only places still open. sukuna's not even sure what the difference is anyway, because the lights here are still dim and the music is loud and there are still people dancing off to one side of the establishment, so the distinction between the two seems tenuous if not entirely negligible. but as someone who's spent his fair share of nights in bars just like (and including) this one, he's usually not really one to complain.
but tonight's different.
yuuji is teetering a bit when his brother arrivesâan unusual sight, considering he's usually pretty good at holding his liquor.
"shit, how much did you drink?" are the first words out of sukuna's mouth when he approaches.
the youngest itadori's cheeks are flushed as pink as his hair, and he grimaces in the wake of the eldest's questionâhe's always been a terrible liar, especially when it comes to his brother, so he doesn't even bother trying to deny it. sukuna doesn't wait for a response in any case, turning his head towards the thick of the crowd and letting his eyes scan through it.
he doesn't see you.
"where'd you see her last?" he asks, leaning towards his brother to be heard over the music.
"by the bar!" yuuji replies, raising his own voice to overcome the bass. "she said she was getting one last drink, but she never came back to the table."
yuuji's lip wobbles a bit as he concludes his sentence, but he sucks it quickly into his mouth and catches it between his teeth.
"and you looked for her?" sukuna asks again.
"all over," yuuji nods, letting his lip slip out from between the bite of his incisors to reply. "fushiguro's doing another lap. nobara's checking the bathrooms."
sukuna ruffles a hand through his hair, suddenly realizing it's probably a mess from his rudely-interrupted slumber. "maybe she just left or somethin'."
"she wouldn't do that, you know that," yuuji says firmly. there's an insistence burning behind his eyes as he looks to his older brother, and it's the most sober he's seemed all night.
sukuna rolls his eyes, even though he knows yuuji's rightâyou'd never leave on your own, much less without so much as a goodbye. the two of you have been joined at the hip for long enough he's almost surprised that yuuji wasn't able to find you with some weird telepathic form of echolocation. he swings an arm up over his little brother's shoulders pushing him down a little just to tease him, before using his grip to tug him towards the crowd.
"you track down that little sea urchin friend of yours and i'll take a look around. meet me back here in ten minutes or text me if you find that little pest, alright?"
the bar is harder to navigate the further in sukuna travels from the entrance, the bodies pressing closer together with every step he takes away from fresh night air. he's pissed off, but that's not out of character for him. he's more pissed off than he usually is, considering not even an hour before he'd been peacefully sleeping at home, and now he's glaring at some drunk college kid who just almost spilled their beer on him.
"move," he hisses through his teeth at the wide-eyed kid whose life he can practically see flashing through his eyes as he shoulders past him. sukuna would be lying if he said the look didn't improve his mood at least marginally.
as sukuna weaves through the bodies in the bar, his eyes don't stop looking for you. it's almost startling how quickly he can rule people outâhow definitively he can say that someone is or isn't you with just a passing glance. he starts to doubt himself as he reaches the far corner of the bar and begins to round back towards the entrance, an annoying, grating irritation in the back of his mind. worry, maybe, if he were the type.
then he sees you.
just the faintest glimpse of your profile, caught behind the shoulder of the man who has you backed into a corner by a pillar, hidden mostly away from the crowdâat least as hidden as anyone can be in a place like this.
sukuna feels his lip curling into a furious sneer as he takes a step towards youâpeople move out of his path wordlessly as he trudges over to that dark corner where you're tucked away.
it's only when he gets a bit closer that he's able to read the lines of your body properly. you're teetering, just like yuuji had beenâthe two of you had probably enabled each other in your intoxication that night like the stupid kids sukuna knows you both to be. but you're also distinctly uncomfortable, pressed up against the wall as if to put as much distance between you and the man hovering over you as you possibly can. your eyes glance off to the side, like you're searching uselessly for an escape.
instead, they meet his.
"sukuna," you gasp out in surprise, and the man you're speaking to glances over his shoulder in confusion. he seems annoyed, and a bit nervous, when he spots the man (taller, and broader than he is) standing behind him with a scowl.
sukuna hears the relief in your voice when you say his name. reads it behind your glassy eyes.
"what are you doing here?" you ask, reaching out towards him clumsily.
the man in front of you puts a hand on your waistâpossibly to steady you, more likely to stop youâand it makes sukuna see red.
"hands off," sukuna snaps, wrapping a hand around your upper arm and tugging you into his side away from the creep.
"who's this? you said you don't have a boyfriend," the kid asks you, jutting a thumb towards sukuna accusatorially.
you mumble something quietly in reply about him being yuuji's brother, tucking yourself a bit closer to sukuna as you say it.
"your brother?" he asks as his eyes squint in confusion, having clearly only caught part of your explanation. "you're ditching me for your brother?"
sukuna's anger flares again at the entitlement this little brat has the nerve to display so flagrantly. the older man's hand slips down to your waist on instinct, and then lower still to the curve of your ass, making a show of how his big hand grips into the flesh beneath it. you squeak quietly at the contact, turning and hiding your burning face against sukuna's chest. he keeps his hand right where it is.
the stranger's eyes widen at the inappropriate display before him and sukuna leans in close with a vicious, almost manic grin.
"we're very close."

hit it off right
Jeong Jaehyun x reader | 5.8k | friends to
After hearing about him for what seems like forever, you finally meet Jungwooâs hot roommate. But itâs a lot more wholesome than anything else.
đ now playing: say it - maggie rogers // decent - bas, amaarae // perfect places - lorde // dear to me - electric guest
a/n: seeing Jae getting drunk with YoungJi did something for me. I miss him and itâs really hard being a military wife. this is part of a larger collection coming soon, so nothing spicy. pls enjoy~
mentions of: other nct members, bff! Jungwoo, alcohol consumption, marijuana usage, light flirting, honestly tho everyone is just shy and cute and silly
A few days before the party, youâd asked Jungwoo what kind of wine his roommate liked. Since it was a celebration, you figured you should at least bring a gift.
âHe told me to tell you to not bring anything.â
âHow could he even know?â You whine, incredulous.
âBecause I know you and your habit of balling out on people who are being celebrated.â
Thereâs not much you can say to that. You are known to bring a nice bottle of something that suits the taste of the one being celebrated. You love to see the joy on someoneâs face when they get a tailored gift.
Itâs the least you could do for someone when you notice their hard work. It feels good to appreciate someone, especially a friend like Jungwoo. Itâs only natural youâd extend the perks to his roommate, right?
âYou talk to your roomie about me?â You coo, poking his cheek. Setting his coffee cup down, he nods, seemingly pleased to share this piece of information with you.
âIn passing. I told him you were coming, that I invited your coworker, too. Iâve gushed about her to him a few times. He just kinda smiled? Not in a weird way. Like⊠I donât know. He just stared at me for a few seconds. Then he said he was happy to hear that. So-â
âSounds like heâs in full support.â
Jungwoo smiles, bringing the cup back to his lips. Then he gives you a sly look over the rim before he speaks again.
âHe also asked me about you.â
âWhat about me?â
âI guess I talk about you all the time, right? I told him about your art, all the art shows youâre in. Iâm sure Iâve shown him a picture of you before, like from that time we went to the beach.â
âYou showed your roommate my bikini photos?â
His eyes widen and he starts to immediately apologize when raise your hands to cut him off.
âWait. Did he like them?â
âHe⊠didnât say much of anything if Iâm being honest.â
âOh.â
âWhich doesnât really mean anything, honestly. Sometimes he just doesnât have anything to say.â
ââŠokay thatâs a little better.â
Itâs hard to imagine Jungwoo living with someone who doesnât talk as much as he does.
The way you two often communicate is rapid-fire, dramatic, occasionally riffing off the otherâs jokes. He likes to share his thoughts out loud and use you as a sounding board. You like to ramble about abstract art ideas and the special interest of the week.
Trying to picture your yap king living with someone who probably makes three facial expressions a year (says Jungwoo) makes you wish you could be a fly on the wall.
âHow much have I told you about Jae? I know heâs always out, or at work soâŠ.â
His roommateâs name is Jaehyun. All you really know about him is that heâs close in age to Jungwoo, he used to be really competitive m, and that he has a cousin somewhere in Europe. Not much else past that.
âOne time I was over you showed me a photo or two from when you guys were in high school. Iâve seen him in your stories too.â
âYou said he was cute! I forgot about that.â
You recall a guy with dark hair and a cute bowl cut, wearing the same basketball jersey as Jungwoo. When you said cute, you were referring to their round faces and goofy hair cuts. The more recent pictures on Instagram were usually from an angle where you couldnât really see his face, but he was always dressed nice from what you could tell.
âHe was! Little cutie stranger man.â
Thereâs a beat.
âOkay, so about that. Heâs was cute but now heâs, like, super handsome.â
âWhat do you mean?â
âLike, heâs hot. Bulked up, started dressing nicer, smells good. His jawline is insane. He should actually model. I didnât know he was going to look like that when we grew up, you know?â He shakes his head in disbelief.
âDamn, you ever told him all that?â
âAll the time, actually. Heâs so sick of me. At this point Iâm just saying something thatâs objectively true. Youâd be lying if you thought he was ugly. So that being said-â
He whips his head towards you, you watch a plot and scheme form in his brain. His lips curl into something devilish.
âCareful not to fall in love with my roommate, yeah?â
You blink at him, two times. Three times.
âHuh?â
His words sounded like a warning, but it feels like he very much would prefer you do the opposite.
âI just feel like heâs someone youâd fall for.â
âYouâve never seen me fall for anyone. Not once since youâve known me.â
âExactly. Which is why Iâm saying⊠I think you guys will get along well.â
âDonât hope too hard, but Iâm sure heâs lovely.â
Sighing, Jungwoo offers you a sympathetic look. You ignore it and instead check for any emails from the art festival youâre vending at later in the month. Itâs not much help, as you can still feel his eyes on you.
âI think heâd be good for you.â
âI donât think playing matchmaker with your friends is that good of an idea,â you clipped.
Right before you met Jungwoo in senior year of college, youâd been in a relationship that ended pretty badly. You were in love, and you think he was, too. At one point at least.
But when things run their course, and you stay in them too long, they start to drain you of everything.
Youâd lost a lot of time and energy trying to be pretty enough, interesting enough, desirable enough to keep the spark alive. To keep his attention. But to no avail. It was like he was just waiting for you to leave.
After a while, feeling empty and settling for whatever he could toss your way was too much to bear. It was just time to let go.
It was hard when at the end, you realized he just didnât love you like you loved him. But was too scared himself to be honest with you about it.
Heartbreak was one thing, but grieving a relationship that wasnât all that real was another. It took you a long time to move through that pain.
Jungwoo watched you put a lot of effort into rebuilding your personality, your self worth, your confidence. He was nothing but supportive, as were your other friends, dragging you to every show in the city, joining you at a new cafe or listening to your new ideas about art youâd been neglecting. And Jungwooâs friends were a wonderful addition to your life, as well.
It was beyond being choosy- youâd taken yourself out of the dating game altogether, focusing on work, art, your friends. Yourself.
Now you were very careful not to let anyone in and disrupt that. Itâs been a beautiful life to fall back into; youâd hate to lose it to the wrong person.
Jungwoo is nothing but understanding still, squeezing your arm instead of pushing any further.
âWell, regardless, I know youâll get along well. Even as friends.â
You roll your eyes at him, a small smile creeping back onto your face.
âDonât look into his eyes, though, seriously. Heâs something else.â
On the trip over to Jungwoos apartment your friend tells you about her day, catching you up on some work gossip and her roommates string of interesting dates.
She laughs at how engrossed you are in her words, loving how excited you are to listen to the tea. Youâre asking questions, connecting dots. The entertainment is delicious.
âIâm never on shit, so Iâm living vicariously through you guys,â you sigh.
âWeâre on shit tonight! Iâm excited to party with Jungwoo.â
You flit your eyes over to her. âYeah?â
âGirl, yes. He seems like a good person to party with. Heâs always so bubbly and sweet when we go out for coffee, and always supportive of you so heâs good in my book.â
You wish she knew why you were smiling so big.
âHe is a sweetheart, and a wonderful friend. I feel like you guys will get along well, Iâm surprised we havenât all gone out before.â
Pulling your phone out, you open your camera to check for a lipgloss reapplication when text from Jungwoo comes through.
woo-ah: đ¶ whatâs ur ETA?đ”
âC-can I be honest with you?â
Immediately you lock your phone, adjusting your body to give her your full attention.
âOf course you can.â
She glances towards the driver, bringing her hand up to cover her mouth like sheâs telling you a juicy secret.
âI think heâs gorgeous.â Her cute confession has you both giggling like schoolgirls in the back of the rideshare. âDonât tell him, please!â
âBabe, your secret is safe with me.â You pinch your fingers together, pretending to zip your lips. âYou wanna hear a secret?â
Her eyes widen in anticipation.
âI think he thinks youâre cute, too.â
âShut up, no way!â
âLetâs just say I have insider info.â
âYour secret is safe with me.â
you: appx 4 min đ€
woo-ah: đȘ©đșđ«¶đŒ
You lock arms with your friend as you lead the way into the apartment building, being here enough times to know what floor and that the right elevator is faster than the left.
Sheâs talking about the book her roommate just recommended her as you get to Jungwoos floor. You even ask her to send you a text, saying that she should start a bookclub as you rap your knuckles on the door.
Jungwoo opens the door, moving to hug you both and welcome you into the apartment.
âCome in, come in!â
Music is playing from a speaker, and a chorus of voices comes from the living room.
You walk ahead of Jungwoo and your friend, who are exchanging thank youâs for invitations and gifts of alcohol, and a chorus of voices welcomes you in the living room.
Doyoung and Donghyuck practically race and slide around in their socks to hug you and kiss you on the forehead and you pull them in for a haphazard group hug.
âLong time no see!â Doyoung clasps his hands together. âItâs so nice to have us all together at one time.â
âWhat a mom, weâre here to get shitfaced.â Donghyuck teasing Doyoung is secretly something you live for, but you pretend to defend Doyoung from him.
âLet us get a few drinks in before you start shit talking him, damn!â
The guys make sure youâre introduced to the rest of their friends, the ones you havenât had a chance to meet yet. Youâve heard all their names in conversation, usually when talking about some social event or fun times they had back in school. It was wonderful to finally put names to faces, and they were more than happy to do the same for you.
âJungwoo finally brought you around!â Renjun and Jaemin cheer. âWeâve been wanting to meet you for so long.â
You blush under all the affection from them.
âIâm so glad to finally meet you guys.â
âCome on, you have to try the cocktail YangYang made.â
Dragging you into the kitchen, youâre flooded by more introductions, jokes and insanely loud laughter, and it feels like youâve been doing this for years with them already.
YangYang passes you a glass, a sliced lemon garnishing the side and all. You take one sip, then immediately take another. âWow, this is delicious. Thank you!â
âThere are three kinds of liquors in there,â he says, shooting you an apologetic look. âAll light, but they told me I had to get everyone drunk, so-â
Before he can even try to apologize, stop him.
âThatâs my kind of drink, then!â And you propose a toast with whoeverâs in the kitchen.
The cheers begin to die down when someone walks into the kitchen.
Jungwoo has a lot of attractive friends. You knew this from the jump. Heâs a model, he had model friends, friends who were in entertainment and the arts. From seeing whoever was on his Instagram story every few weeks, to getting drinks with everyone else occasionally, youâd gotten very used to being surrounded by pretty men.
Jungwoo did not prepare you well enough for Jeong Jaehyun.
âItâs our boy! Congratulations!â
The kitchen erupts into more greetings and well wishes as the man of the hour had just arrived. You sit back as everyone moves into pat him on the back, hug him or, like Donghyuck, kiss him right on the cheek.
Everyoneâs voices just turn into background noise as you take him in.
He smiles the most beautiful smile youâve ever been blessed enough to witness, and you have to force yourself to take a large sip of your drink so not to gawk at him.
Renjun and Jaemin motion for you to come closer, and you use the one solid second you have to steel your nerves as you step closer to them.
Jaemin slings his arm around you. âJae, have you met our girl yet?â
Renjun playfully shakes his arm. âJungwoo has been keeping her from us for eons.â
Jaehyun takes a step closer to you. Heâs tall, much taller than you, so you have to tilt your head back to fully look at him.
And what a sight to see.
Jaehyun smiles again, a little shy but just for you. His eyes crinkle at the corners, smile so sincere and kind like heâs smiling at someone heâs known for years.
Extending his hand out to you, he wants to greet you properly. Shakily you place your smaller hand in his. But instead of shaking your hand, he uses both hands to gently hold it.
âItâs nice to finally meet you.â
The baritone voice almost knocks you on your ass.
Taking take a moment to will some confidence, some chill to come through when you speak, you swallow and push your shoulders back.
âYou as well, Jaehyun. Itâs been a long time coming, yeah?â
Itâs taking everything in you to sound normal and relaxed, unfazed by this man.
He cocks his head to the side and laughs, his nose crinkling and smile lines that resemble whiskers making themselves visible. The sight makes your head spin.
âA very long time.â He releases your hand, and you place it against the side of your glass hoping it will absorb some of the heat from the exchange. âThank you for coming.â
With your resolve expiring in seconds, youâre so thankful for Jungwoo making his way into the kitchen. While he introduces your work friend to Jaehyun, you shuffle out the kitchen alongside Renjun and Jaemin.
You sit on the armrest of the couch, listening to them bicker over what game the party should play first, remembering how to breathe.
Jaehyun quietly settles into a chair for one close to you, tuning into the commotion. He doesnât make a move towards you, and youâre glad even if just for a moment. Out the corner of your eye, you take him in.
Handsome isnât the right word to use, you think. Heâs dressed clean and simple, nice jeans and a white t-shirt. The side profile is something unreal, perfect chiseled features but his face still soft and welcoming. His dark hair is slightly pushed back, a few stands falling over his forehead. He leans forward to tap Jaemin on the shoulder, complimenting him on âhow big heâs gottenâ at the gym, with the younger preening under his praise.
Just in the short time in the same room, itâs clear that Jaehyun is like a big brother. And from what Jungwoo has told you is super sweet and caring. That alone makes you want to know him more, and makes him all the more attractive.
Looking over at you, he offers you a small smile which you mirror to avoid coming off as awkward. Noticing that you are both nursing the same drink, he raises his glass towards you for a small toast.
âTo you and the summer,â you offer, raising your glass as you do so.
âI can drink to that.â
You take another large swig of your drink, hoping after the third your nerves can handle more than two sentences next time.
Itâs silly, you think, to be this affected by a man. An attractive one, yes. But just a man. A friend of a friend, even.
Jungwooâs words echo in the back of your mind, that he thought you and Jaehyun would get along well. Part of you doesnât want to prove him right, but another part of you wonders if getting along with Jaehyun wouldnât be such a bad thing.
So you try your best to start and make conversation.
âI heard about your promotion, congratulations!â
âAh thank you,â he says, smiling into his cup. âItâs actually more of a career change.â
âReally? What are you going to be doing?â
He takes a minute to respond, and for a moment you wonder if he even heard in the first place. Before you can repeat yourself, however, heâs speaking again.
âIâm⊠writing music. Singing some, too. For me and for others.â He points over his shoulder with his thumb. âIâll be working with Taeyong a lot, in his studio.â
Eyebrows raising, you lean in a bit.
âYou sing, Jaehyun?â
âSometimes.â He takes a drink. âI write stories on artists, interview people in music. Do some editing. The company I work for was really cool about letting me try different things, I really liked working for them.â
Thereâs a moment where youâre not sure if heâs going to speak again, and right when you think you should ask another question he continues.
âBut I always wanted to sing my own songs, produce my own work. My current line of business has its perks, a lot of connections too. So Iâve been working on my own stuff on the side.â
You didnât peg him as someone in performance- heâs so pretty youâre surprised he isnât a model or an actor honestly. But he doesnât seem to be anything anyone would think at first glance.
âThatâs so exciting. Especially working with friends, I like Taeyongieâs music. And âm really happy to hear youâre able to chase after your dream.â
âThank you, Iâm excited to share.â
He looks at you through his eyelashes as he takes another drink.
So weâre both trying to numb our nerves, you thought to yourself.
âI hope I get to hear some music from you soon.â
He casts another smile your way, and thatâs when you know the liquor is kicking in because it doesnât send you reeling this time.
âI hope you do, too. Soon.â
âShots?â
Everyone gathers around in the living room, passing small glasses around to those partaking in alcoholic festivities tonight. You pass one to Jaehyun, who holds it up against the light.
âI havenât taken a shot in a long time.â
âI got you the good shit, Jae.â Jungwoo holds up two expensive bottles. âWhiskey? Or gin?â
âOh shit⊠letâs do the gin. Sticking with lights tonight.â
He asks for your preference, and you do the same.
Jungwoo opens the bottle of gin and pours the first round of shots for the night. After he pours his own, he holds his glass up for a toast.
âI know this is, like, the fourth toast of the night but it probably wonât be the last if Iâm being honest.â
Taeyong groans. âIâm betting on at least seven in total.â
âThose are rookie numbers,â YangYang yells out, the younger boys cackling and suggesting higher numbers.
âAnyway!â Jungwoo bangs the gin bottle on the coffee table. âThis is the emotional one. Itâs the end of the summer and I hate to see her go. But weâre moving into fall, and falling into our new lives-â
Donghyuck pretends to yawn.
âDude shut up, itâs just Jaehyun-â
âIâm not finished!â And he taps the bottle again, your head falling against the back of the couch in silent laughter. âThank you all for being part of another summer and thank you guys for coming to celebrate one of my closest, oldest friends.â
âLiterally.â
Doyoung throws a pillow at Donghyuck and motions for Jungwoo to continue.
Jungwoo turns to Jaehyun, whoâs made his way onto the couch alongside you and your friend. âIâm happy to see you make your wildest dreams come true. I canât wait to see you become the sexy superstar you were always meant to be. Cheers!â
The room is full of cheers and then groans from knocking back shots with no chasers, but itâs a pleasant burn as it slides down your throat.
You blow a kiss at Jungwoo, wiping a fake tear from your eye. âYour speech was beautiful. Very moving.â
The next hour is filled with mini beer pong (players had to sip water instead of alcohol, many thanks to Doyoung), stories about the boys time in school or how some of them met their partners, and shared soju.
The boys complain that heâll cheat if he plays so instead Jaehyun shares a strong bottle of peach soju, his favorite, with you and your coworker.
At first, itâs very cute to just watch Jaehyun laugh at all of his friends antics. He enjoys listening, occasionally cracking a few jokes or making funny noises. But heâs more than happy to settle back into the couch and observe.
But heâs also big on being a good host, even if heâs the one being celebrated- if he isnât offering you another drink heâs offering to grab something from the kitchen for you. Theyâre small but clear gestures to make sure his couch neighbors are as comfortable as he is.
Heâs laid back and quiet but attentive- it has you swooning a bit. Itâs a contrast to the rest of the men in the apartment, who are also sweet but characteristically loud and rambunctious. You love it, but itâs fascinating to watch Jaehyun hum and giggle to himself rather than dominate a conversation.
After you clear the second soju bottle and Jungwoo has wedged himself between you and your friend, you think you hear Jaehyun giggle beside you.
âWhatâs so funny?â You laugh, setting the empty bottle down on the coffee table.
He just shrugs, cheeks beginning to flush from the alcohol. Heâs pretty like this, you think.
âAre you a silly drunk, Jae?â You tease, catching the attention of Donghyuck.
âOh man, heâs gonna start getting real silly soon.â The younger man comes to sit on the armrest closest to Jaehyun, affectionately brushing his hair off his forehead. He weakly tries to swat Donghyucks hand away.
âIâm not silly,â he tries to argue, way too cute and whiny compared to the man you met just two hours ago.
âYouâre sooo silly right now,â Donghyuck laughs. âSheâs going to have to take care of you soon!â
His eyebrows shoot up and he tries to sit straighter, attempting to coolly settle against the back of the couch. âNo, no. Iâm fine. Iâm-â
âCome get some air with us!â Jaemin and Donghyuck pull him up by his arms, with little to no resistance from Jaehyun. He just rolls his eyes as they pull him to his feet.
Jaemin cheers, pushing him towards the sliding door to the deck.
Looking over his shoulder, he nods at you. âNeed anything while Iâm up?â
You wave him off towards the door.
âNo, Iâm okay. Go get some air.â
With you beaming up at him, Jaehyun swears the room has gotten a few degrees hotter. The air will do him good.
Jaehyun finds you in the kitchen later, just finishing one of the cookies someone brought. You pass one to him and he finishes it in one bite.
âHow many drinks in are you?â
âShit⊠Iâm at about four. Not including that shot.â
âI think Iâm at about the same,â he says, shuffling closer to you at the kitchen island overlooking the living room.
Thereâs a moment of silence that you share, watching all of his and Jungwoos friends (and yours now) fill up the apartment with laughter (and some screaming- Renjun set Mario Kart up on the tv).
Your heart swells knowing how loved Jungwoo is, as well as Jaehyun.
But then it dawns on you that you havenât seen Jungwoo or your friend in a while. Before you can mention that to Jaehyun, he bumps his hip against yours.
The alcohol might not have been enough to turn the alarms off in your brain yet, but your body is slow to react to him essentially snuggling into your side. Heâs warm, and he smells warm too. Like a vanilla candle. Thereâs something else you canât place, but itâs more than pleasant.
âI have to tell you a secret.â He whispers, and itâs cute and kind of whiny.
âA secret?â You say, barely over a whisper. He nods slowly, looking into the crowd.
He canât see shit, in all honesty.
âI may or may not be a little crossed.â
âThatâs what I smell on you?â
âShit, is it bad?â Just like that, heâs a little more self conscious than he is silly. He smells his shirt in a few different places, earning a laugh from you.
âNo, youâre fine. Itâs because youâre so close that I can smell it.â He sighs and laughs almost at himself. âIs that where you and the boys went?â
âYeah. I donât usually smoke but itâs something like a special occasion.â
âAbsolutely it is. You deserve it.â
He simply hums, letting a a few seconds pass before he speaks again.
âYou smoke?â
âWeed? Rarely.â
âCigs?â
âNot once in my life.â
âGood for you, weâre all nicotine addicts in here.â
âVape away, I could never judge.â
At that you both turn towards the other at the same time, chests inches apart.
His eyes are low from the weed, the whites tinted red. Heâs looking down at you, a silly, boyish grin on his lips. You canât help but blush under his gaze, lips curving into a grin of their own.
âThanks for coming tonight.â His voice is soft, barely audible. You feel yourself subconsciously leaning into him, wishing to hear him a little louder.
âOf course, I had to support the homie. And play wingman.â
He tilts his head back to glance around the room , the realization hitting him then.
âOh shit, I havenât seen them in a while.â
âThen I guess I did a good job. I barely did anything but whatever.â
He laughs, voice deep and rumbly. âYou did great.â
He leans onto the counter, his arm resting closing to where your hip sits against the edge. He slowly shifts his eyes back over to you, looking over your frame. Just once, even his sluggish brain is careful not to get ahead of itself.
âIâm glad we finally got to meet.â
âI am too.â Your skin is on fire under his intense gaze. Itâs not so much intense as it is just so warm, so amiable. You deflect to take some of the heat off of you, quite literally. âJungwoo talks about you all the time.â
âYeah? What does he say?â
That youâre so fucking handsome and Iâd be stupid to lie and disagree.
âThat you donât say too much, but youâre a really good friend.â
A surprised look washed over his face, then he turns sheepish.
âHeâsâŠâŠ thatâs sweet of him.â Jaehyun rubs the back of his neck, thinking on his next words as carefully as his crossed mind will allow him. âIâm glad youâre his friend. He needs someone like you.â
You tilt your head to the side.
âWhat do you mean?â
âSomeone who isnât as shy as him.â
âHaha, you think I donât get shy?â Itâs funny when you think back on how nerve wracking is was to shake his hand for the first time.
But heâs just giving you this knowing look now, a ghost of a smirk at the corner of his lips.
âIf you do, you hide it well.â You could scream. Can he see right through you? âBut seriously. You push him to do well.â
Jaehyun is slow to speak, but even inebriated heâs intentional. Something youâve learned in just the past few hours about him is that it may take him a while to get his thoughts out, but itâs more than worth it to hear what he has to say.
You hang on to every pause like your life depends on it, eager to hear what comes out of his mouth next.
âBefore you guys worked together, he was a lot more⊠reserved. And passive? Like, heâs good at everything he does. We know this. But⊠he never really sought recognition.â
âYouâre right. But he deserves it.â
He nods while he thinks on his next words.
âYeah. I remember in school he was just happy to pass and be included in things. Never attracted much attention to himself. Never wanted to be in the spotlight. But since working with you, heâs become proud of the work he does. His confidence has grown. Heâs louder. Funnier. You pushed him a lot.â
âThatâs all him, he works hard-â
âHe does, you pushed him though. When he finally started modeling last year all he could do was say how thankful he was for you. How you encouraged him, helped him with headshots. Went shopping with him and made sure he felt good going into auditions. And it took off.â
Your breath catches in your throat.
âHe⊠he said that? Really?â
âHe did. Youâve been a very good friend to him.â
Blinking away the tears that started to pinprick behind your eyes, you smile at Jaehyun whose own eyes are filled with mirth. Even cross faded, Jaehyunâs words were so sincere and kind.
âAre you crying?â
You sniffle, using your thumbs to collect any tears in the corner of your eyes so not to ruin your makeup.
âI was gonna but Iâm okay.â
He laughs that hearty laugh again and ruffles your hair. Itâs such a small gesture, but so comfortable. Domestic even. Like youâve been friends for years. It makes your heart even fuller than it already is and if he keeps it up, itâll burst before the end of the night.
The alcohol coursing through you is doing nothing but spread this warmth, double time. Happiness feels good coursing through you.
âLetâs get some water, yeah?â He cocks his head toward the fridge. âDoyoung brought some sparkling water.â
You begin to follow him as he takes a few steps backwards. âWhat flavor?â
âWe haveâŠâ He starts, opening the door to the fridge. âI can barely see. Wow.â
âMove, Iâll look.â
You hip check him out of the way, and hear someone come into the kitchen behind you.
âIâm no better, but this looks like ginger peach. And calamansi.â
âPass me a calamansi, please? You want a sparkling water, Taeyong?â
âDo you think itâs a good mixer for gin?â He asks, loud enough for someone in the living room to hear.
Then, that someone yells out: âAnother round of shots?â
Laughing, you hand Jaehyun his sparkling water, and pass a ginger and peach flavored water to Taeyong. âLetâs find out, yeah?â
More cheering is heard as you shuffle back into the living room and let Doyoung pour the next round of shots.
Heâs a sweetheart and pours the shots right into you and Taeyongs cans, Jaehyun sneakily placing a sealed water bottle next to your foot.
Itâs well into the night, the hour a single digit when the party starts to die down.
Jungwoo is in the loveseat for one and a half, your friend snuggled into his side.
Youâve found yourself back on the couch with Jaehyuns head resting on your shoulder and one of his legs swung over Taeyongs. Miraculously, Donghyuck has found a way to lay across you all comfortably.
âIâm going to order a ride home for us soon,â your friend says through a yawn. Donghyuck is already whining, earning some light smacks from the older boys under him.
âWeâre so comfy, why would you want to mess up our cuddle pile?
âIâm not cuddling, Iâm being leaned on,â you tease, grinning down at Jaehyun who can barely hold his eyes open. Heâs trying his best to focus on one of your faces because he sees three, but heâs not complaining.
âHm⊠my bad.â He moves to sit up, but Donghyuck just nestles into him even further, and Jaehyun canât seem to muster up enough strength to (care) knock him into the floor. âI really⊠I really did try.â
Jaehyun has hit peak silly hours. From little hums and cute noises to the worst dad jokes youâve heard in a while, you understand what Donghyuck meant earlier. Jaemin and Jungwoo even got him to cutely pose for drunk selfies earlier.
Laughing through your nose, you use the hand thatâs free to reach around and pat his cheek affectionately. In this state he instinctually leans into your touch, humming in approval. You have to fight the urge to squeeze his cheeks. âJae you gonna be alright?â
âI told you she was going to have to take care of you!â At that, he and Taeyong had enough and pushed him into the floor. He lets out a squawk as his body hits the ground with a light thud. âFuck. Itâs comfier down here anyway.â
Jungwoo slowly stands up, helping your friend to her feet. âSo Donghyuck is sleeping here, literally right there. No blanket. I donât want to see you using something weird as a replacement either.â
While the boys still present start to bicker some more, Jaehyun taps your knee to get your attention.
âIâll be okay. Just got a little carried away.â
âYouâre okay. Letâs get you to bed then?â
His eyes open a little wider, mouth parting to say something. You wait.
âAre you staying over?â
âNo Iâm going home tonight.â
He pouts, and it almost sends you to another dimension.
âAw donât make that face, Iâll be back soon.â
âOkay. Good.â
You call to Taeyong, who really isnât that much better, but he does help you get Jaehyun off the couch and down the hall to his bedroom.
You let Taeyong handle the hard part of getting him out of his jeans and under the covers, heading to the kitchen to fill a glass of water. âJungwoo, you have any painkiller?â
âIn that drawer by the stove.â He stands beside you in the kitchen. âFor Jae?â
âYeah. You want any water?â
âNah I was good tonight. Iâll be okay.â He purses his lips. âYouâre sweet for that. Taking care of him.â
âIâm not doing anything I wouldnât do for you.â
âI know⊠exactly what I mean.â You shake your head and walk to Jaehyunâs room, entering while Taeyong exits.
âHeâs decent, just whiny.â
âThank you, Iâll just leave this for him then.â
You approach the side of the bed where heâs sprawled out, eyes barely open but you can see them following you even in the dark.
âBrought you some water. And some painkiller. Take it when you can, yeah?â
âHm. Tell Jungwoo to give Hyuck a blanket.â
You chuckle and ruffle his hair before moving to leave.
âHave a good night, Jaehyun.â
âHmmâŠâ

Your name echoes across the house when Aaron yells for you from the bathroom. Once you enter the space you're greeted by his hair spiked in every which way, covered in a brownish-black goop. His thick hands are gloved and hold a small black toothbrush-like applicator.
"Sweetheart, can you check if I missed a spot?" Aaron hands you the brush and tray of inky black dye. You make a show of rolling your eyes and pouting back at him in the mirror and you take the items from him.
"I forgot it was that time of month that you decided to cover up all your sexy.." you sigh.
"Really," he scoffs, a teasing smile creeping on his lips, "I thought all the sexy was gone when I shaved.'
You almost teared up remembering the loss of his beard. A case off the grid forced him to grow one out for a few weeks. You understandably jumped his bones upon seeing the new look when he returned. The extra hair provided some out-of-this-world sensations for your softest parts that you would never forget. Only for the wicked man to shave all of it after two days, citing the "professional dress code" of the FBI as the culprit.
You snap a latex glove onto your hand, "Shush and bend over, big guy."
He smiles and kneels to face you, his rough hands gripping the fat of your thighs. You slowly worked around his head, dabbing bits of dye in bare spots. Your fingers rake through the inky black mass on his head, gently massaging his scalp. Aaron hums and thanks you under his breath.
"Do you know why I started dying my hair so consistently?"
"To torture me?"
"No," he huffs," when Jack was about... eight? I had taken him on this trip with a couple of his friends and their fathers, it was fun, but at the end of the whole thing Jack pointed at the grays starting to grow out on my hairline and turned to his friends and said-"
"Baby no...."
"'Guys look! My daddy is sooo old!'"
You clamp your lips shut to hold in your laughter. You didn't want to embarrass him further, especially with the deep red flush rising up the nape of his neck.
"Oh honey Jack was still a baby then... kids are insane you know that"
" I do, and I know. I laughed it off. I know he didn't really mean anything by it, but I didn't know if he felt like the odd one out for having an old dad.." Aaron runs his hands up and down your legs mindlessly. "And now I don't want you to feel out of place either."
You pause at that. In the few years you and Hotch have been together, never has he shown any insecurity about the difference in age between you. And he sure as hell wasn't about to start now if you had anything to do with it. You slicked his hair back with your hands and placed the clear complimentary shower cap in the box on his head, snickering at how silly he looked. Once you slide the slimy gloves off you set the timer on your phone and grasp the face of the man you loved so dearly, forcing him to rest his chin on your stomach and look into your eyes.
"You have less than thirty minutes to explain to me why you think I'd care about you looking old"
"you're young-"
"I'm in my thirties-"
"you're younger," he corrects "than me by quite a bit. All your friends have other young people to share their life and first experiences with. Meanwhile, you're stuck with a sixty-year-old-"
"You're fifty-seven-" Your eyes roll.
"a fifty-seven-year-old with a sassy kid turned angsty teenager for a child." he sighs, "Sweetheart I just don't want you to ever look at me and feel a loss."
You take a moment to scan his face. Despite the stupid shower cap mushrooming around his head, his face showed no amusement when he spoke. The sweet, shy smile he always sported around you was gone, replaced with a grimace and furrowed brow.
"Aaron I have never felt more loved, accepted, and safe than I have with you. I know you know that," you say.
He nods, pressing a quick peck to your belly button before looking at you. His eyes search yours for a moment of hesitation or change in resolve. but you stand your ground.
"The only thing I worry about with you on my arm is fighting off all the homewreckers."
He wheezes a laugh at this. Eventually having to stand up before he smears the dark dye all over you. He always does this. Laughs and acts like he wouldn't have crowds of people stop to fawn over his beauty if he let them.
"Remember that neighbor at the old apartment who would only stop by with cookies when she knew you were home?"
"Or the time Jack's classmate profiled their teacher's crush on you?"
"Don't even get me started on that detective JJ keeps telling me about from years ago in New Mexico. The male detective."
He smiles at you sheepishly, "You've made your point."
"If you want to dye your hair or shave to make yourself happy I think you should," you whisper, "but Aar I love every version of you possible"
You press your lips to his cheek before you continue, "You are the most beautiful, devastatingly sexy old man out. And I will still throw myself at you in public if you decide to finally ditch the box dye."
He smiles at you fully now, eyes shining as he looks down at you. He slides his lips against yours, grinning into the kiss before he pulls away to thank you.
"Maybe after this starts to grow out I'll see how I feel about the silver again." He looks back at his reflection in the mirror. He turns his head every which way to peek at the processing strands under the shower cap.
"Think about the beard too damn it.." you mumble. You begin to wander out of the bathroom when he yells for you again.
"Oh and sweetheart one more thing," you turn to look at him, confused when he stifles a laugh, "will you still think I'm sexy if I start balding like my father?"

The Family Meet and Greet
Damian Wayne x Reader
Request/Summary: Hey hun! I wanted to send in a request for Damian Wayne x reader. Maybe reader being introduced to the family/the family finding out about them?
A/n: Honestly I canât tell if the picture is Tim or Damian.
Masterlist - Tip Jar
Damian is a pretty private person and doesnât intend to do an awkward meet and greet with his beloved girlfriend.
He knew that all of his family members would find out one way or another anyway.
Dick Grayson:
It wouldnât take a genius detective to know that Damian is asking for advice for his love life.
Damian sits in his hero costume, hunched over as his legs dangle over the side of the building. His eyes evade Dicks, a red hue spreading across the tips of his ears.
A soft smile embellishes Dicks lips as he sees his younger brother whom is typically egocentric, now looking timid and shy for the first time ever.
âSo my friend started seeing someone recently and he had this dilemma on if he should keep seeing her or not because on one hand he has all this baggage he doesnât want to burden her with and on the other hand he just canât bring himself to break things off with her.â
âSo this girl your seeing-â Damianâs eyes bulge, snapping his neck towards Dick, acting too defensively.
âUgh, are you not listening Grayson? I said itâs about my friend.â
âRight, right, I forgot. My badâŠâ Dick thinkâs carefully on his words. âSounds like your friend is a classic over-thinker. Relationships are far from logical, itâs all based on feelings. It might be hard for your friend, but just enjoy it for what it is.â Damian sits and stares off over the Gotham skyline looking unconvinced. âLook Dames, there is no right answer. Just do what feels right.â
Leaning back into his palms he stares in amusement at his beloved younger brother continues pining in anguish.
âSo⊠how long do we keep pretending that we arenât talking about you? Can I see a picture?â Damian rolls his eyes with a sigh, sliding his phone out of his pocket, he taps on the screen silently before shoving his phone into Dicks hands.
There laid the image a happy couple. Damianâs arms wrapped around your shoulder. The dark city filtering behind the brightly lit couple, forever captured in permanent laughter.
Dick, initially keen to tease the cheesy photo before him, now silent in pure aw to see the genuine smile, Damianâs eyes lit in adoration.
âDo not tell anyone Grayson. I will share the news when I am ready.â
Tim Drake:
The little rat has been acting rather odd.
Tim tried talking about it to Dick but he just kept evading his questions by pathetically redirecting his attention with someone elseâs random drama.
Theyâre both acting weird and secretive, and there is no way Tim is going to be kept out of such an intriguing mystery.
Usually Tim would just stalk his targets, but this is Damian we are talking about. It is incredibly difficult, if not impossible to track Damian without him noticing. Starting with Damianâs social media, Tim pin points all of the photo locations and begins to visit each site one at a time. He hacks the local cameras and reviews the footage from around the date the photo was uploaded.
Low and behold, footage of Damian smooshing his face into another ladies faceâŠ.
Whelp, Tim was certainly not expecting to see such a DISGUSTING display of affection. YUCK.
He didnât even know the rat could even feel those types of feelings.
Tim, now laying on his bed cuddled up to a pillow is looking⊠traumatised.
Sometimes, itâs better just not to know.
Barbara Gordon
No freaking way.
Barbara could not believe her very eyes.
When completing a Internet background check on the Wayne family to scrub any suspicious allegations or accusations, Babs found the Holy Grail of finds.
An account with a mysterious woman with months worth of photos with the Wayneâs local angsty brat, Damian Freaking Wayne.
When completing a generic photo match search. Lovey, dovey poses with Damian and a girl by the name Y/n flashed up on the screen.
This is juicy! To tell Bruce or not to tell Bruce, that is the question.
Jason Todd
Disgusting. Absolutely foul.
Itâs a random Tuesday evening when Jason jumps roof tops only to discover a couple making out all hot and heavy.
Their bodies tangling together as the man rips his shirt off. The girl sliding her hands along his abdomen before landing on his belt buckle.
The man then slides his hands from the back of her neck to her ass, giving it a needy grope before sliding his hands to the back of her thighs, lifting the woman with ease and pressing her against the wall.
This is hilarious, they have no idea Gothams most infamous Vigilante has caught them about to get down and dirty on Gothams roof top.
Jason sat down and ate his figurative pop-corn in humourous delight, until his eyes adjust.
âAinât no FUCKING way!â Jason yells, humours delight now churning into a disturbed nausea. He swallowed the bile raising up in his throat.
Pulling out his phone he calls Damian. Panting breaths filter through the phone, only furthering Jasonâs disgust.
âWhat?! Iâm in the middle of-â
âI know what your in the middle of you sick bastard! Take it indoors!â The line goes quite for just a moment. âLittle freak, your family patrols the roof tops you know, ugh, I canât - Iâm having a flash back to Selina and Bru- ugh Iâm gonna vomit.â
Duke
âFinally!â Duke announces, hoping over the back of the couch and sprawling out on the soft cushions of the plush couch. Without a second to spare Duke switches the TV on to watch the latest episode of his favourite show.
âThomas-â
âNo talking!â Duke wholesomely announces, crossing his arms over his chest.
âMy phone⊠forget it.â Damian grumbles, seeing Dukes eyes glued to the TV. Squishing further into the cushions, Duke feels the uncomfortable poke of a hard object pressing into his rib.
Wrenching the wretched object from its place, Duke holds a phone. His haphazard fingers pressing into the screen which lights up and shows the text of a person named Y/n.
Y/n: Canât wait for our date tonight, I miss your handsome face xx
Dukes cheeks heats up, seeing a private message he shouldnât have seen. Damian is incredibly private and may murder Duke for accidentally learning something he wasnât suppose to.
Wiping ïżŒany evidence of his fingers touching the phone Duke places the phone back between the cushions.
Best if he just abandons his show for now for a tactical retreat.
Bruce Wayne
God, why are his kids so weird?
Seriously? Out of all 20 of them, not a single one was normalâŠ
Sitting at the head of the dinner table, he watches his children talk amoungst themselves in weird cryptic speeches.
âDo you know what I know?â Tim asks intensely, the broccoli wedged on his fork, pointing at Dick, who stares back wide-eyed.
âI donât know anything ⊠why what do you know?â Dick says scanning the rest of the room to see if they somehow knew what Dick was referring to.
âI canât share what I know, but just know it. Is. Juicy.â Babs announces with a sly and taunting grin.
âI donât know anything, I didnât even want to see it. Oh god, Iâm feeling queasy.â Jason says crossing his arms over his stomach.
âIDidntSeeAnythingEither.â Duke announces quickly, and begins to quickly Hoover his dinner.
Damian sighs, massaging his temples at his idiotic siblings.
âSo I take it that you have all found out about Y/n?â Bruce asks calmly, slowly sawing into the plump steak on his plate.
The room falls dead silent as all heads turn towards Bruce, surprised that he knew and surprised that he had the guts to say what everyone else was thinking.
âFather, how do you know about Y/n?â
â⊠Iâm Batman.â

things they unconsciously do for you | ot13
[âïž] seungcheol
protecting you
choi seungcheol is a protector through and through (you could say that sometimes heâs a tad too protective, but itâs simply because he loves you so much and he would most likely end up with a meltdown if he saw you hurt). covering sharp corners, walking on the outside of the pavement, holding your hand in big crowds, cutting the meat for you - doing all of these things is like second nature for cheol. he never thinks about doing them, like âoh, they dropped their spoon, maybe i should cover the table corner so they donât bump their headâ. no no. he just does it, simple as that. and good luck to the person that tries to make you uncomfortable or invade your personal space because well⊠choi seungcheol will fight them
[âïž] jeonghan
wrapping you up with a scarf/ putting on beanieÂ
jeonghan, as someone who gets cold easily, is very vary around the people around him being cold as well. heâs always more than happy to share some of his body heat with someone else, especially because hugging means more warmth. when it comes to you, though, there is no way youâre getting out of the house without a thick scarf and a beanie. it doesnât matter if you get easily cold or not, jeonghan does not let you out of the house before youâre properly bundled up. the first thing he grabs when youâre getting ready to go out is your/ his scarf and a beanie, and he dresses you up like a mom dresses up a child, but thereâs nothing you can do about it. and if you come to the practice room without anything wrapped around your neck, jeonghan is quick to change that, as he pulls out his own scarf to give it to you.
[âïž] joshua
ordering for you
sometimes being social - even if itâs just ordering food - can be overwhelming, and shua understands that completely. he never judges you for it, he could never, and that alone makes you feel so much better. he never minds it when you cling to his arm, standing beside him while heâs ordering coffee, or when you point to the food on the menu so he could tell the waiter what you want to eat. sometimes he doesnât even has to ask you what you want to order because he knows you so well by now that he can guess what type of boba youâre craving that day or which type of pasta you want to get.Â
[âïž] jun
brushing your hairÂ
jun likes his silent acts of service, brushing your hair being one of them. whether it be after you wake up, or after a shower, jun finds brushing your hair to be very calming, so itâs also a way for him to distress and spend some time with you as well. sometimes you sit in silence, sometimes you talk about your days, but itâs always so intimate without being sexual, and thereâs something beautiful about that. and he adores looking at your sleepy reflection in the mirror, your eyes closing on their own, as he gently runs a brush through your hair, making sure not to pull too harshly.
[âïž] hoshi
carrying your bagÂ
it doesnât matter what colour it is, if itâs a tote bag or a small baguette one - hoshi is going to carry it, like the gentleman he is. for one, he figures it must be uncomfortable and tiresome to carry a bag around all the damn time, also he doesnât want you to strain your shoulders too much, so whenever heâs around he is going to be the one to carry it. and he always makes sure before you go out that you have all of your necessities packed in case you forgot something too. also, as much as heâs easy to distract, when he holds your bag at parties he turns on his bodyguard mode, protecting that bag like his life depends on it, clutching it closely to his body (will glare if someone dares to step too close to it).
[âïž] wonwoo
taking of your glasses after youâve fallen asleepÂ
as a person who wears glasses himself he knows how annoying and uncomfortable it is to fall asleep with your glasses on (not to mention that they can break too), so this is as natural as breathing for him. he probably has a couple of photos in his camera roll of you asleep with your glasses on, but sometimes you look too adorable for him not to take a quick picture for him to coo over later. he always gently takes them off as not to wake you up, and places a kiss on your forehead, before putting your glasses away so they wouldnât break on accident.
[âïž] woozi
(i donât really know how to name this?)Â
woozi is an insanely attentive man, which is one of the reasons why heâs so great at those silent acts of service that make your heart flutter so much. he picks up the smallest things - like shifts in your mood when youâre upset or feeling a bit down, and while at the beginning of your relationship he was a bit awkward with that since he wasnât really sure how to help you, now he knows exactly what you need. itâs not even that he has to think about holding your hand or hugging you, or just simply sitting next to you - itâs almost like his body gravitates towards you on its own, like it knows you need him by his side in that moment. you could argue that itâs the bare minimum (which it is), but with jihoon itâs so natural, like i hope you get what iâm trying to say - but the way heâs always there right by your side when you need him without having to mention that youâre not feeling that well is everything you could ever ask for.Â
[âïž] dk
holding your hand in big crowdsÂ
all seokmin wants is for you to be happy, loved, and safe. grabbing your hand when youâre in big crowds is a no brainer for him, itâs like his hand moves by itself, finding yours, and intertwining your fingers. he never lets go, not before heâs sure youâre safe with a smaller amount of people around you, where you wouldnât get lost or swarmed by the crowd, and even then he usually keeps on holding your hand. and if you get stuck in a big crowd, like during a concert or a festival, he often pulls you to his chest, and puts his arms securely around you, so heâs sure no one will bump into you or step on your foot.
[âïž] mingyu
cooking for youÂ
mingyu loves cooking and eating, that much we know. but what he loves more is cooking for you. to be honest, making food for you has always been something obvious for mingyu, from the very beginning of your relationship, and he never saw it as a chore or something he felt obligated to do. preparing breakfasts on your days off, making you lunch for work/school, cooking dinner for your at home dates - it brings him so much joy because not only does he get to do what he loves, but it also reassures him that youâre eating well and not skipping any meals (whenever he finds out you skip meals you end up with a very sulky and low key angry kim mingyu).
[âïž] minghao
buying you clothes
itâs not that he doesnât like your style or thinks youâre bad at choosing your outfits, on the contrary - during the first stages of your relationship he payed a lot of attention to what you liked to wear, and for which types of clothes you went for, so that he could spoil you with clothes and accessories you liked, making sure youâd be comfortable in them and feeling 100% you. now, whenever he saw something he knew youâd like he immediately bought it, with no second thoughts. itâs kind of comforting to know that your significant other knows you so well that they know exactly what youâd like or what would draw your attention if you were shopping yourself.
[âïž] seungkwanÂ
singing/ humming you to sleepÂ
itâs not like he lays down and automatically starts singing, but he does that whenever he sees you need it. sometimes itâs singing, sometimes itâs only humming, but itâs like his body just knows you need something to soothe your mind to fall asleep. whenever he feels you shuffling around, tossing and turning, unable to find a comfy position - he gently grabs you by your waist, and pulls you a bit closer to him, and starts singing/humming. he doesnât think much about doing it, itâs like an automatic response because one of the most heartbreaking sights for boo is seeing you unable to rest, unable to get your well deserved sleep.
[âïž] vernon
refilling your snacks drawerÂ
thereâs just something about vernon and him noticing all of those small things about you, and what you love. and one thing you definitely love is him and your snacks. he noticed early in your relationship that you had a drawer in your kitchen dedicated solemnly to your favourite snacks, but also how bad you were at refilling it. thus, he took it upon himself to refill it so you could always have something to munch on, and with time it became such a habit of his that he stopped paying attention that he was actually doing it. whenever he was doing grocery it was obvious to him that the first aisle he had to go to was the snacks aisle so he could pick up all of your favourites.Â
[âïž] dino
refilling your water bottleÂ
another very attentive man with acts of service as his love language. whether youâre actually good at keeping track of how much you drink, or if you donât pay much attention to it - chan always re-fills your water bottle for you (he was probably the one to buy it in the first place, choosing a colour to match your aesthetic). he knows how important it is to drink proper amounts of water throughout the day, so making sure you drink sufficient amount of it is as natural as brushing his teeth for him. whenever youâre studying/ working he comes into your room, grabs your water bottle and re-fills it. same as when youâre getting for school/work in the morning - he fills it with water, and puts it back in your bag (sometimes he sticks a note to it as well, with a cute âi love youâ message).

[m.list] [1kevent m.list]
You would have to spend over a month traveling together. Over a month of back and forth, car rides, flights, hotel rooms, runways, and photo shoots all while trying to deny dating rumors. The contract was easy enough, but the money earned was less impressive than the exposer. To be the face of a company for an entire season, tied to one of the biggest names in modeling history, not only the fashion house but the model himself who set trends and made people famous for one little interaction. It was a brand deal people dreamed of.Â
The pen cleared the signature box faster than you ever thought you could sign your name. But then the nerves set in. It wasn't over doing your job, modeling, although hard, was now second nature. You worked well with almost every photographer you came across, following instructions without a fret, even when it came to runway you knew your walk was one companies begged to have on their sets.Â
But it was him that left you questioning your abilities. He had been the only clause in the contract that made you second guess yourself. Yeonjun was well known not only in the modeling community itself but globally. His face was splashed across countless brands, ads, and billboards. You couldn't go a day without seeing him at least once on your timeline. Even at the grocery store, in line at the checkout, he looked back at you with his perfect pouty lips from the front of a magazine you could only dream of being on the cover of as often as he was.Â
âYou were specifically asked for,â your agent reminded you after you brought up the status difference. It wasn't as if you were not known, companies wanted you well enough that you wouldn't need the check from this single one month booking. It was the caliber at which he was held. âThey want you and I wouldn't be the one to turn them away when this much press will be on you. Imagine the number of people calling to get one shoot in with you, he brings eyes,âÂ
It wasn't until your first photoshoot that you realized that he would be more of a pain in your ass than an inspiration. He was never mean, you would have to give him that. But it was his overwhelming kindness mixed with the teasing tone he always used on you that somehow pushed your buttons just right. It didn't help that the first time that you walked into the studio you were so shy, little smiles shared with your hands folded in front of you trying to wring out your anxiety. Yeonjun wasn't even on set yet, having shown up a few minutes later with his arms full of coffee, passing them out to each staff member, knowing them all by name. âIt's nice to meet you finally. I didn't know what you would like but this is what I picked out for the little mouse,âÂ
âLittle mouse?â it was the first thing you said to him, your head tilted just enough for him to take in the question and know the slip up of a nickname was going to stick especially when you couldn't get through the photoshoot without an apology. Shoulders stiff with his eyes on you, your nerves making you angry instead of anxious and it all had to do with the little grin set at the edge of yeonjun mouth. âI'll just step out,â and you hated how improved your film was from his absence, your heart calming down its rapt beading.Â
Of course you got over it eventually, or at least the stiffness. You couldn't afford to be stiff when standing next to yeonjun who was naturally relaxed about everything. He would slink to his spot on set, lay his lazy gaze in your direction, and get all of his shots in the minimal amount of frames as if he was born to be in front of the camera. It was annoying.Â
The two of you would be set up next to each other in hair and makeup, your bottom lip is finely brushed with the end of a glosses wand when he would lean on the back of your chair. His hands were always just hovering over your shoulders, never quite touching but enough to feel the heat from his palms, his head leaning next to yours looking back at you in the mirror, âYou guys did such a good job, don't we just look like the perfect pair?â he would quirk an eyebrow at you, the two of you staring each other down while the staff agreed, but he was always waiting for your answer, âdon't we little mouse?âÂ
âIf you think so,â your response always made him chuckle as if you didn't see the way the media was talking about your contract together, as if you didn't feel the chemistry between the two of you. People were still talking about your first runway together, the closing of the show for one of the best collections put on display that week.Â
The lead up was so chaotic, with dressing rooms stacked full of models and assistants, the floor a mess of people undressing and trying to make their quick changes as fast as they could before their names were called. Even yeonjun could feel the pressure in the room, the two of you in your designated corner stripping down back to back.Â
The crowded space made everyone bump into each other. For the smallest second you were caught by the sight of him taking his shirt off, pulling it at the back of his collar showing the way his jeans hung so low on his hips that his happy trail was on display. You had turned, taking off your shirt, shoulder knocked by someone coming to do your hair, it made you stumble back into yeonjun, his hand right at the small of your back holding you upright as you fumbled with the zipper on your pants. âCareful,â he muttered, your heart in your ears as you kicked your shoes away from your space.Â
The two of you were used to seeing each other in different versions of undress after all the photoshoots shared together. Comfortable enough now to be somewhat friends after all the car rides, the few interviews, and hours spent on a set together. It's what you accounted for as your key element to having such a good walk together on the runway. Every step matched, the energy vibrating off the two of you as if you had been a duo your whole life instead of just having been paired together less than a month ago.Â
Even at the afterparty people swarmed you two, asking about your relationship as if they could sense the livewire of that conversation hanging around your heads. It was the first time you had ever seen him flustered enough to stutter over an answer. âI um- you never know,âÂ
The paparazzi loved the two of you, the crowd outside any event was packed full of them, their cameras following you around the city. The two of you always shared a car to your hotels, yeonjuns hand warm in yours leading you through the flash of every blinding light while you tried to shield your eyes. He would pull you in front of him when you finally reached the waiting car door, hand on your back gilding you in before climbing in after.Â
Even shutting the door behind the two of you only muffled the sounds of their questions to a faint murmur. It isn't until the car pulls away from the venue that yeonjun speaks up.Â
âYou did well tonight, you lookedâŠâÂ
âGood, I hope,âÂ
âYou always look good, better than good, i was trying to come up with a different adjective,â it wasn't the first time he's complimented you, but it never stopped you from logging it away to giggle over it in private. âSometimes I don't know what to say to you,âÂ
You chuckle, âI never took you as shy,âÂ
Strands of his hair hang in his eyes, head tilted just enough to catch what little light makes it in from the tinted windows, âno, not shy, just cautious,âÂ
âWhat, afraid you'll break me? Hurt my feelings? Or maybe my ego will get too big,âÂ
He lets out a soft breathy laugh, the sound taking up the space in the backseat. You loved the way his chuckles went down your spine, like a caress of his fingers on the skin you wished he touched. âYouâd let me get close enough to break you?âÂ
âI don't think you could,â it's a light jab and yet it sets everything off kelter. The car ride charged with an energy you couldn't get back into its box. Now opened, the two of you looked back at each other as if you hadn't felt this pot simmering over.Â
His eyes flickered down to your mouth, his tongue running over his bottom lip before he shrugged, âOkay,â he loved that you wanted to play this game with him, as if you hadn't always been slowly picking away at the short wall between you two. It was inevitable that you would end up pressed up against the mirrored walls in the elevator up to your hotel floor.Â
He wasn't even going to do anything, he was going to let you go to your room while he mulled over your conversation, picturing exactly what he wanted to do to you. But then you leaned back against those mirrors, your body reflected around him as the doors slid closed behind him. Your eyes traced the line of him, lashes hooded just enough for you to look through, like a siren on the rocks, beckoning him closer. You didn't stop him when he cupped your jaw, thumb running over your bottom lip, nose dipping to yours. Even when he gave you enough time to pull away, lips ghosting over yours when he asked, âYou'll be good for me, won't you?âÂ
Your answer is hummed right into his mouth when he kisses you, devouring you, pushing you into the corner giving you nowhere to go. His body is hot against yours, cageing you in as he kisses down your jaw, sloppy wet spots cooling in the air as he nips at your neck. âGod, imagine them having to cover up all the marks I leave on you during tomorrow's shoot,â his hand is heavy on your hip, dragging down you cup your cunt over your jeans, âEveryone is going to know I fucking ruined this pussy for anyone but me,âÂ
Your whimper is eaten by the sound of the doors opening behind him, your tight grip on his shirt not loosening when he drags you out after him. He pushes you to his bed when you get past the threshold of his door. His slow walk to the nightstand to flick on the light gives you enough time to think about exactly what's happening.Â
He loosens his tie, veiny hands curled around the fabric as he nods his chin in your direction, âTake your clothes off,â it was only a few hours ago when he saw you topless, and yet your fingers shake when you reach for your hem. âDon't be shy now little mouse, always all talk and no play,âÂ
The heat on your cheeks spreads to your ears at the nickname. Yeonjun takes to matching your state of undress by tossing his tie next to you before unbuttoning his shirt, the outline of him in his pants is mouthwatering. He watches the way you try to speak, hands twisting in the duvet not realizing he's come up so close to you before he's hooked his hand on your chin, tilting your head up before slipping his thumb into your mouth and pressing down on your tongue. He swirls the digit around, grinning at how willing you are to follow his command even without words, âone day ill fuck this pretty mouth, but for now, I need you on your hands and knees for me,â he shoves your face away, putting his slick finger in his mouth to taste you.Â
Turning around and having him at your back is both chilling and exhilarating, not knowing when he's going to touch you until his hands are sliding up your back, unhooking your bra, and letting it fall off of you. He lets his hand press between your shoulder blades, pushing down hard enough for your arms to give way beneath you, the side of your face pressed into the sheets. âEvery photoshoot I kept thinking about what it would be like to finally get you into my bed, I kept thinking about how I would finally fuck you, how exactly I could use your body,âÂ
His hands slide down your arms, tugging them behind you until you whimper, the silky material of his tie sliding along your fingers as he wraps up your wrists to keep you in place. âAnd every time I just came right back to thinking about putting you just like this, fucking you dumb; using you like my perfect little toy,âÂ
With one hand holding your tied wrists his other slips down to tease you over your soaked panties, fingers following the lines of your cunt like he was made to map you out by touch. You can't even form words and he hasn't done anything, your pathetic little whimpers pushing him further and further. âSo quiet now, I wonder if it's because someone's scared I'll break her?âÂ
âPlease,â it's so soft you don't think he's even heard you, but he's aching for every little sound.Â
âPlease what? What do you want me to do?â he pushes your panties aside, grinning at how wet you've gotten over so little. Your hips push back into his hand, his fingers slipping into you just enough to prep you for the stretch of taking him.Â
âFuck me, break me, anything-â he's so quick to press his cock into you that you're gasping losing all thoughts. His fingers had done little to let you grasp the sheer size of him, even all your slick couldn't help that pleasure mixed with pain as his tip kissed your cervix.Â
He doesn't even hold off from moving, not once he's finally felt your warm gummy walls sucking him, so perfect he doesn't know how he will ever stop from coming back to you. He keeps one hand on your hip, fingers digging into your flesh, the other wrapped around the slack of his tie, tugging your arms and using them as leverage to keep his harsh pace as he fucks into your greedy cunt.Â
You feel so full, so completely stuffed that you're a mess of incoherent moans mixing with the slapping sounds of your connecting bodies. Yeonjun is mesmerized by the way your ass ripples with each slap of his hips; mesmerized by the way his cock is disappearing in and out of you. âSo fucking perfect,â he's grunting, âI'm going to fill up and then eat my little mouse out until she screams, kiss your pussy better after taking me so well, does that sound good?âÂ
âYes, god yes!â Your voice is muffled by the way you are pressed into the mattress, arms slightly numb as he pummels himself into you, thrusts getting sloppier with the build up of his orgasm. He tells himself that he will pull out but then he's cumming, body shuddering as you clench around him, his rumbling moans following the steady pulse of his leaking cock.Â
When he pulls out of you he watches the way the dribbling cream coats your puffy lips. Untying your hands he lets you roll onto your back, slotting himself between your legs and attaching his mouth to your swollen clit. Your fingers still gaining feeling fall to his hair, pulling on the strands and he brings your orgasm back to the surface. The obscene sounds coming from his fingers trying to match his previous pace makes him chuckle, the feeling of his laugh vibrating against your clit. It takes little work for you to tumble into your orgasm when he curls his fingers just right, your body following every command he lays down.Â
His hand is covered in your combined cum when he's done with you, the stickiness capturing both of your attention before he shoves them into your waiting mouth.

WC: 7,194 My brains been foggy lately so it's taking me longer to write these. Sorry guys. Also because of the long breaks I totally forgot to add everything you asked for and my Dom Spencer's a little rusty. Sorry anon. (Not Proof Read)
In the heart of a long-forgotten industrial district, the abandoned restaurant stood, a relic of a bygone era. The team had received an anonymous tip, a whisper on the wind that led them to this desolate corner. You and Spencer Reid drew the short straws, tasked with investigating the eerie structure.
Peeling paint and shattered windows cast a grim pallor over the faded sign that swung lazily in the breeze. You felt a shiver run down your spine as you approached, your footsteps echoing against the cracked pavement. Spencer, ever the intellectual, rattled off facts about the place's history, trying to fill the silence with something other than the heavy tension that hung in the air.
Inside, the restaurant was a maze of dust-covered tables and chairs, the smell of stale grease clinging stubbornly to the air. The kitchen was a jungle of rusty pans and forgotten spices, the floor sticky with a layer of grime that had built up over the years. Despite the emptiness, it felt as though you were intruding on a place where secrets had been left to fester in the dark.
The tip you received was vague, hinting at suspicious activity in the area. You and Spencer moved methodically, your eyes scanning every corner for the faintest trace of anything could help with the case. You weren't quite sure what you were looking for â a clue, a sign, anything to justify the uneasy feeling that had settled in your stomach. Spencer paused every so often, his sharp mind analyzing anything out of place.
It was in the kitchen that you stumbled upon the horror. The ticket holder, once used to organize orders, now held a different kind of queue â a series of surveillance photos of the victims. Each face hauntingly familiar from the case files you've studied. The sight of their images, captured unknowingly by the monsters you were hunting, sent a cold chill through your system. Spencer's eyes widened in surprise, his voice barely above a whisper as he pointed out the meticulously laid out schedules scattered around the kitchen counters. It was clear that these Unsubs had been stalking their prey, plotting their every move.
The two of you withdrew your weapons now on high alert. You continued clearing the place, the weight of the moment pressing down on your shoulders. Your heart pounded in your chest, each beat a reminder of the lives at stake. You could feel Spencer's tension beside you, his breaths shallow and eyes darting around the room as he searched for any sign of the trio.
Approaching a back office, you pushed the door open with your foot, not taking any chances. The room was a time capsule of forgotten paperwork and dusty filing cabinets. A desk sat in the centre, with a table beside it covered by a faded tablecloth.
The papers scattered across the surface looked like they had been abandoned in a hurry. Invoices, receipts, and pay stubs lay in a disorganized heap. You squinted in the dim light, trying to make sense of the dates. They were from before the restaurant had closed, a mundane record of a business that no longer existed.
Then, the unmistakable sound of footsteps, heavy and deliberate, echoed through the empty dining area. You and Spencer froze, your eyes locking for a split second. The blood drained from your face as you both realized the gravity of the situation. The Unsubs had returned and you were out numbered.
You caught a glimpse of four men, their silhouettes looming through the dust. At least two were obviously armed, their weapons glinting in the sliver of light that pierced the dimly lit space. They were getting closer and you had to think fast.
With a burst of adrenaline, you grabbed Spencer by the arm and pushed him down onto the floor, under the protection of the dusty tablecloth. He tumbled backward, his eyes wide with surprise, and you quickly followed, landing on top of him in a desperate attempt to hide. Your heart hammered against your ribs as the fabric of the cloth billowed around you, threatening to give you away with every breath.
With quick hands, you pulled out your phone and silently typed a message to Hotch, your thumb hovering over the 'Send' button. The footsteps grew louder, each step bringing the danger closer. You hit 'Send' and shoved the phone into your pocket. You could feel Spencer's body tense beneath yours, his muscles coiled like a spring, clearly thrown off by you sitting on top of him.
He begins to squirm, and you knew he was uncomfortable, not just from the fear of being discovered but also from your proximity. The cramped space made it impossible not to be aware of every inch of your bodies pressing together.
Spencer tries to sit up, but you're quick to react. You place a hand firmly on his chest and push him back down, shaking your head.
Suddenly, he whispered, his voice strained and urgent, "We should change positions, it's notâŠideal." But before he could finish, you clamped your hand over his mouth. You didn't know if the Unsubs had heard you, but you couldn't take that risk.
"Quiet, we don't want them to hear us."
You felt Spencer's body stiffen even further as your breath danced against the sensitive skin of his neck. You could feel his pulse racing against your chest, a frantic drumbeat matching the tempo of your own heart. You shifted slightly, the movement pressing your ass against his growing arousal. His breath hitched beneath your palm. It was an accident, but one that sent a jolt of heat through you.
The voices grew louder, the Unsubs seemingly oblivious to the danger hiding in the shadows. They talked in hushed tones, their words muffled by walls between them and your hiding spot. You strained to listen, hoping for some clue as to their plans or identities. The words were indecipherable, but the tone was one of excitement and anticipation.
As the moments dragged on, the tension in the air thickened, coiling around you and Spencer like a serpent. His body was taut beneath yours, the fabric of your clothes the only barrier between you. The adrenaline had shifted gears, no longer just a fight-or-flight response but a potent cocktail of fear and desire.
You felt his hands grip the back of your thighs, knuckles almost white with restraint. The heat of his body was intoxicating, and the friction of your movements was setting something alight between you. It was a dangerous dance, one that had no place in the middle of a horror show, but your body didn't seem to care about the setting.
Spencer's eyes searched yours, looking for a sign, a silent question. Was this real or just the situation playing tricks on you both? But the desire was unmistakable, a palpable force that seemed to fill the air in the tiny space. You drop your head down, your nose brushing against his cheek, and for a heart-stopping second, you thought about what it would be like to kiss him right then and there.
The sound of the Unsubs grew closer, their footsteps echoing in the hall outside the office door. Spencer's hands slid from your thighs to your hips, his grip tightening. The heat of his touch seemed to burn through your clothes, setting every nerve ending alight. The fear was still there, a live wire running through your veins, but it had morphed into something more primal, something that made your skin prickle and your breath catch in your throat.
You met Spencer's gaze, and in that fraction of a second, everything changed. The hunger you saw in his eyes was raw and undeniable. It was a look you'd never seen from him before, one that made your heart skip a beat and your body respond in ways you hadn't anticipated. For a moment, the horror of the situation was forgotten, replaced by the all-consuming need to touch, to taste, to claim.
Your hand slowly slid from his mouth to cup his jaw, feeling the stubble that had formed over the past few days of non-stop work. His breath was hot against your palm, his eyes never leaving yours. The intimacy of the gesture was not lost on either of you, but in the face of the danger lurking outside, it seemed to be the only thing that made sense.
Spencer's arms wrapped around you, pulling you closer until your chests were pressed together. The sound of the Unsubs' footsteps grew fainter as they moved away from the office, but the intensity between you only grew stronger. His hands slid up your back, tangling in your hair, and you both leaned in, lips almost touching.
Suddenly, salvation in the form of a vibration. Your phone. The team had gotten your message. You felt a rush of hope as you realized that rescue was on the way. The vibration against your leg was a silent shout of reassurance, a beacon in the dark.
You both knew that you had to keep it together, to keep the facade of professionalism until the danger had passed. The text message seemed to sober you both up, the urgency of the situation slapping you back into the stark reality of your predicament.
You glanced down at the screen, noting the time since you'd sent the SOS. It felt like hours, but it had only been minutes. The message was simple: "In position. Hold tight." Spencer's eyes met yours, understanding passing between you in a fraction of a second. The weight on your chest lifted slightly, the fear ebbing away just enough to allow you to breathe again.
The sound of the Unsubs grew fainter as they moved away from the office. You dared not speak, not even a whisper, as you both listened intently for any clue to their whereabouts. Spencer's hand slid from your hair to the small of your back, his fingers gently tracing the contours of your spine. You shivered at his touch, the line between terror and passion blurring further.
Suddenly, the air was pierced by the sound of shattering glass. The Unsubs had been spooked, and the cavalry had arrived. The SWAT team, alerted by your message, had come crashing through the restaurant's front windows, the shards raining down like a crystal waterfall in the dusty room. You could feel Spencer's body tense beneath you, his muscles coiled and ready to spring into action.
You both took this as your cue to come out of hiding. With a silent nod of understanding, you slithered out from under the tablecloth, drawing your weapon as you went. Spencer was right behind you, his eyes sharp and focused, scanning the room for any sign of the quartet. The office door was slightly ajar, and the sound of chaos outside grew louder with each passing second.
As you emerged into the corridor, the scene that met you was one of organized mayhem. The SWAT team was spread out through the restaurant, their movements precise and calculated as they secured the area. You saw Morgan taking down one of the Unsubs with a well-placed tackle, the man's body hitting the floor with a heavy thud.
The other three Unsubs were already in cuffs, their faces a mix of shock and rage as they were read their rights. You felt a wave of relief wash over you as you realized that it was over, that no one else would suffer because of them.
He approached you and Spencer, his gaze sweeping over the two of you with a practiced eye. "Are you both okay?" he asked, his voice low and steady. You nodded, still trying to catch your breath, and Spencer managed a tight smile.
Morgan's eyes lingered on the two of you, and for a moment, you wondered if he could see the unspoken tension that had arisen between you during the standoff. But he said nothing, only nodded and turned back to the rest of the team.
The wrap-up was a blur, a flurry of activity that seemed to happen in fast-forward. You watched as the Unsubs were led out of the building, their heads bowed in defeat. The SWAT team secured the perimeter, and the forensic unit began their meticulous dance of collecting evidence. Your heart was still racing, the adrenaline from earlier lingering.
Before you knew it, you were in the back of an SUV, the cool leather pressing against your heated skin. Spencer was sitting beside you, the two of you trading glances. The silence between you was deafening, charged with the electricity of the kiss you had almost shared.
You couldn't help but wonder if it was the adrenaline that had pushed you both over the edge, or if there had always been something more simmering beneath the surface. The team was busy around you, talking and filling in the gaps of what had just transpired. But all you could think about was the way Spencer's body had felt beneath yours, the way his hands had explored you in the dark.
Once back at the precinct, you were just going through the motions. While the majority of the team interrogated the Unsubs, you found yourself cataloguing evidence with a sense of detachment, your mind replaying the events in the abandoned restaurant.
The almost kiss kept playing in your mind like a record on repeat. You couldn't shake the feeling of Spencer's breath against your skin, the way his eyes had searched yours for something unspoken. Each time you reached for a new piece of evidence, your hand would tremble slightly, a reminder of the intimate moment you had shared.
The touch of his fingers on your spine had been electric, sending a shiver down to the very core of you. You found yourself acutely aware of every point of contact, every brush of skin on skin, feeling as if you were still entwined under that dusty tablecloth. The memory of his arms around you was a comforting embrace that seemed to linger.
You froze for a moment as the realization hit you like a ton of bricks: you were sharing a room with Spencer tonight. The implications of what had almost happened weighed heavily on your mind as you continued to process the adrenaline-filled afternoon. You'd been partners for so long, so close, yet this was uncharted territory. You couldn't help but wonder how this would affect your relationship, both personally and professionally.
The case was wrapped up. Everything else was left for the locals. You and the team had done your part, leaving the cleanup to the local law enforcement. The Unsubs were behind bars, and the victims could now find some semblance of peace.
As you and the team divided into cars, you found yourself paired with Morgan and Prentiss. Spencer ended up in the car with Hotch, Rossi, and JJ, his eyes meeting yours briefly before the doors slammed shut, leaving you to wonder what might happen next. The drive to the hotel was a blur of city lights and the muffled chatter of your colleagues. You were lost in thought, replaying every heart-pounding moment in the abandoned restaurant.
When you finally arrived at the hotel, the lobby was a bustle of activity. The team checked in with weary efficiency, the gravity of the case still weighing on everyone's shoulders. You couldn't help but feel a twinge of disappointment as Spencer's gaze didn't seek you out among the crowd. Perhaps it was better this way, you thought, a chance to cool off and sort out the tumultuous emotions that had taken hold of you.
You headed up to the room, the elevator's slow ascent feeling like an eternity. You were sure that the conversation that was bound to happen would be a letdown. It had to be the adrenaline, you reasoned with yourself. It was the only explanation for the way your body had responded to his touch. But as the doors opened and you stepped into the quiet corridor, the memory of his arms around you seemed to follow you.
You fished the room key out of your pocket and slipped it into the lock, turning the handle with a click. The door swung open, revealing a space that felt too small for the emotions you were carrying.
Standing in the middle of the room, you took a deep breath, trying to compose yourself before Spencer joined you in your shared hotel room. The walls felt closer than they should, the air filled with the anticipation of an unspoken conversation that loomed. You studied your reflection in the mirror, smoothing out any signs of distress, hoping to maintain a facade of calm.
As the lock clicked open, the sound echoed through the room. Your entire body tensed, not ready for what the night might hold. Spencer stepped in, his eyes briefly scanning the room before they settled on you.
For a moment, you just stared at each other, the silence stretching out between you. His face was a mask, revealing nothing. You searched his gaze, desperate to find some clue, some hint of what was going through his mind. But Spencer was a master of poker faces, and he wasn't giving you anything to work with.
Then, without any warning, Spencer closed the distance between you, his hands coming up to cup your face. His touch was surprisingly firm, yet gentle, his thumbs tracing the line of your jaw as he leaned in. His lips met yours in a kiss that was as intense as it was unexpected, stealing the breath from your lungs. You felt your knees wobble as you kissed him back with an equal fervour.
You gripped onto Spencer's shoulders, your nails digging into his shirt as you tried to keep yourself tethered to reality. His arms wrapped around your waist, pulling you closer, his hands splayed against the small of your back.
He broke the kiss abruptly, his eyes searching yours with an intensity that made your heart flutter. "Tell me you want this" he growled.
"Yes," you assured him, the word coming out as a breathless whisper. "I want you," you clarified.
With frantic movements, you both began to undress each other, the fabric of your clothes seeming to dissolve away in your haste. Buttons popped and zippers hissed as the barriers between you fell away. You could feel the heat from his skin as your shirts were discarded.
Spencer reached around and unclipped your bra with an ease that made your stomach flip. He took his sweet time peeling the fabric away, revealing your breasts to his hungry gaze. He didn't waste a second before his mouth found them, his lips closing around your nipple with a gentle suction that sent a jolt of pleasure through you. You gasped, your back arching, pushing your chest closer to his face.
With a groan, he began to suck, his tongue flicking and teasing the sensitive bud as you tangled your fingers in his hair. His hands followed suit, cupping your breasts, his thumbs brushing over the peaks as he played with your nipples. He switched to the other side, giving it the same attention, his teeth grazing the sensitive skin. Each nip and suck sent electricity through your body, making your legs threaten to give out.
Once he had his fill, he moved on to your trousers, taking them and your underwear down with a gentle urgency. You stepped out of the fabric pooled around your ankles, feeling vulnerable and exposed. He knelt before you, marvelling at the sight before him, his eyes dark with desire. You felt a blush spread across your cheeks as he looked up, a wicked smile playing on his lips.
"You're so fucking gorgeous," he murmured, his voice a low rumble that seemed to resonate in your very soul. "All mine to taste." He leaned in, his breath hot against your skin as his eyes travelled down your body.
With a gentle but firm tug, Spencer's hands slid down to the back of your thighs, urging you closer. You stepped into the embrace, feeling his warm breath against your sex. The sensation sent a shiver through your body, and you bit your lip to hold back a whimper of need. His fingers dug into the flesh, gripping tightly as if he needed the anchor.
He leaned in, his tongue tracing the seam of your pussy. You felt his hot breath against your clit, the anticipation making it throb with desire. He circled the sensitive nub with the tip of his tongue, the touch so light it was almost maddening.
You moaned, your hands finding their way into his hair, gripping the soft strands as he began to apply more pressure. Spencer's eyes never left yours as he started to devour you, his mouth working magic on your clit, his tongue flicking and teasing until you were grinding against his face, desperate for more.
He chuckled darkly at your eagerness, his hands moving to grip your ass, pulling you closer until you were practically riding his face. His tongue plunged into your wetness, tasting you deeply, and you couldn't hold back the moan that escaped your lips. The sensation was overwhelming, a delicious mix of pleasure and vulnerability that had you teetering on the edge.
"That's right, sweetheart," Spencer murmured, his voice muffled by your flesh. "Cum for me. Let me feel you come apart." His words were a command, a demand that sent a thrill through your body. You could feel the muscles in your abdomen tighten, your orgasm building in your core.
Obeying his urging, you began to rock your hips, grinding your clit against his tongue. The pressure was exquisite, each movement sending waves of pleasure through you. His eyes remained locked on yours, his pupils blown wide with desire, his mouth wide open collecting your juices. His hands tightened on your ass, his fingers digging in, urging you to move faster, to give him what he wanted.
And then, with a final, needy grind against his mouth, you shattered. The orgasm hit you like a tidal wave, crashing over you leaving you trembling and gasping for air. You could see the triumph flash in his eyes as he felt you come apart. He didn't stop, though, continuing to lick and suck until your legs gave out needing him to catch you.
With a firm grip on your waist, he guided you to the bed, his movements sure and decisive. The mattress dipped as you sat down, and he didn't waste a second before he was beside you, his body pressing into yours, his mouth claiming yours in a kiss that was as possessive as it was hungry.
"Good girl," he murmured against your lips, the words a dark praise that sent a thrill through your body. He pushed you back onto the bed, his body following yours, his weight a delicious pressure that made your heart race even faster. You felt the heat of him, his arousal pressing against your thigh, and it was all you could do to keep from reaching down and taking him in your hand.
Spencer sat up, his eyes never leaving yours as he removed the rest of his clothes. Each article of clothing fell away, revealing more of the toned body you had only ever seen glimpses of. His chest was bare, a blush trailing down it, and his erection was clear through his boxer briefs. He watched your reaction, a smug satisfaction in his gaze as he revealed himself to you.
"You have no idea how much I've wanted this," he murmured, his voice thick with lust as he pushed the last of his clothes off. "How hard it was to keep my hands to myself while we were hiding." His hand slid down his body, gripping his cock, giving it a slow stroke that had you biting your lip.
The admission sent a bolt of desire through you, making your heart race even faster. You had known there was something between you, something that went beyond friendship and partnership, but to hear him voice it so bluntly was exhilarating.
Spencer climbed over you, his breath hot against your neck as he whispered in your ear, "While you were on top of me, I couldn't help but imagine what it would feel like to have you riding me like that, taking me deep inside you." His words were raw, unfiltered, and they sent a shiver down your spine. You could feel the heat of his arousal, his cock pressing into your thigh as he spoke.
He trailed kisses down your neck, each one a silent promise of what was to come. "I wanted to rip your clothes off right there," he confessed, his voice a low growl that resonated through your body. "To feel you wet and ready for me, to hear you scream my name as I made you cum."
The words alone were almost enough to push you over the edge again. Your pussy throbbed with need, your inner walls clenching around emptiness, desperate for his touch. A moan slipped past your lips, and you threw your head back, giving him full access to your neck. His teeth grazed your skin, and you felt a shiver of pleasure that went straight to your core.
"Please," you begged, the word a breathy whisper that seemed to hang in the air. "I need you inside me." Your voice was ragged with desire, your eyes never leaving his as you made your plea. The raw need in your eyes seemed to be all the permission Spencer needed.
With a final, lingering kiss, he positioned himself at your entrance, the head of his cock nudging against your slick folds. "Don't worry, sweet girl," he murmured, his voice low and dominant. "I'll take care of you."
He slammed into you with a force that made you gasp. The feeling of being filled by him was almost painful in its intensity, but the pain quickly gave way to pleasure as your body adjusted to his size.
Spencer's eyes were hooded with desire as he watched your reaction, his hips moving in a punishing rhythm. His hands gripped the headboard, the wood creaking under his grip as he thrust deeper and deeper, his whole body taut with the effort.
You could feel the mattress shift with every pounding stroke, the springs groaning in protest beneath you. The sensation was almost overwhelming, a delicious mix of pain and pleasure that had you panting and writhing beneath him. You wrapped your legs around his waist, trying to pull him closer, urging him deeper.
Spencer took your cue, his hands moving from the headboard to your hips, his grip unyielding as he set a rhythm that had you seeing stars. His hips snapped against you, his cock filling you completely, the sensation of fullness making your eyes roll back in your head. He was a force of nature, a storm of passion that you had unleashed, and you were helpless to do anything but ride the waves of pleasure that he brought.
You could feel the headboard knocking against the wall with every thrust, the sound of skin meeting skin echoing through the room. Each time he pushed into you, your breath hitched, a whimper escaping your lips. His eyes watching every flicker of emotion that crossed your face, his expression one of fierce concentration.
"Look at me," Spencer demanded. You obeyed, locking your gaze onto his, unable to look away as he claimed you, body and soul. His dominance was intoxicating, the way he took control of your pleasure, leaving you powerless to do anything but submit to his will.
With a slight adjustment of his hips, he angled himself just right, and you felt the electric sensation as his cock hit your g-spot. A shocked yelp escaped your lips, your eyes widening with surprise. The intensity was almost too much, but you didn't want him to stop.
The sound of your moans grew louder with every thrust, filling the small room. Spencer smirked, his eyes dark with arousal as he leaned in close, his hand coming up to cover your mouth. "Quiet," he whispered, his voice a seductive rumble in your ear. "We don't want them to hear us, do we?" It was a playful reminder of your earlier words.
You moaned against his hand, the muffled sound only serving to add to the intensity of the moment. The heat from his palm was like a brand on your skin, searing your lips as you fought to keep your noises contained.
As the pleasure mounted, he slowly switched to putting his thumb in your mouth while the rest of his hand cupped your cheek. The act was both innocent and incredibly erotic, a silent plea for more as your teeth grazed his skin, your tongue swirling around the digit.
The sound of his groan filled the room, a low rumble that seemed to vibrate through the very air. It sent a bolt of electricity through your body, making your pussy clench around his cock. Spencer's eyes darkened with need, his thumb pressing deeper into your mouth, his hips moving faster, his strokes more urgent.
"So fucking tight," he murmured, his voice a low, guttural growl. "You're so wet for me, aren't you?" His words went straight to your pussy, your body responding instinctively to his words. You nodded, unable to form coherent sentences as he continued his relentless assault on your senses.
"Tell me," he demanded, his hips grinding into you, his cock hitting your g-spot with every thrust. "Tell me how good it feels." You moaned around his thumb, the sound muffled and wanton.
"Am I fucking you so good you can't answer?" he taunted, his voice low and full of smug satisfaction.
You could only nod, the words caught in your throat as he hit that spot again and again. The feeling was so intense that you could feel yourself climbing towards another orgasm.
With a sudden shift, Spencer rolled over, flipping onto his, and you straddled him, his cock still buried deep inside you. "Fuck, I need to see you ride me," he grunted.
Wasting no time, you immediately got to work, arching your lower back and slamming your ass down against his pelvis. The pleasure had your eyes rolling back in your head. Each downward thrust was met with an upward surge of his hips, filling you completely.
Spencer's fingers dug into your hips, his grip tightening with each bounce, leaving the promise of bruises in his wake. You could feel the pressure building again, his cock stroking your g-spot with an almost punishing precision that had your toes curling.
"That's right, be a good girl," he murmured, his voice thick with lust. "Ride my cock just like that." The words were a command that had your pussy clenching around him, desperate to please. You picked up the pace, the slap of your ass meeting his thighs growing louder with each passing second.
Spencer's eyes never left yours, his gaze a mix of hunger and admiration. "Look how much you want it," he said, his voice a dark whisper. "Look how much you need me to fill you up, to make you scream." His words were like a drug, sending a rush of pleasure through your body.
"You like me praising you," he murmured, his eyes flicking down to where you were joined. "Calling you a good girl?" His hand moved to cup your cheek, his thumb stroking your skin gently as his hips began to move again, his cock still buried deep inside you. "I felt the way your cunt started squeezing me," he continued, his voice a low rumble of satisfaction. "Every time I say it, you get wetter, don't you?"
You couldn't help but nod, the truth of his words evident in the way your body was responding. You felt the heat of his palm on your cheek, the gentle pressure of his thumb against your skin grounding you.
With a growl of pure need, Spencer brought your face down to meet his in a passionate kiss that was both possessive and tender. His tongue claimed your mouth, the taste of you still lingering on his lips. You moaned into the kiss, the sensation of his cock inside you making your head spin.
Both his hands grabbed your ass, the firm grip of his fingers digging into your flesh. He used the leverage to slam your hips down onto him, the sound of your bodies colliding filling the room. You could feel the muscles in his arms tensing, the power behind each thrust driving you closer to the edge. The sensation was overwhelming, and you could feel yourself tightening around him, the beginnings of another orgasm building deep within you.
Spencer's voice was a low growl in your ear, his words a mix of praise and need. "You're so fucking perfect," he murmured, his hips bucking up to meet yours. "I want to fill you up, have you dripping with my seed." The thought of his release inside you had your pussy clenching around him, the walls quivering with the anticipation of his climax.
"Will you let me, sweetheart?" he asked, his eyes searching yours for an answer. The question was loaded, filled with a mix of hope and desire that made your heart race even faster. You could feel the tension in his body, the way he was holding back, waiting for your permission.
You nodded, the word "yes" barely escaping your mouth before it was swallowed by his kiss. Spencer's hips bucked up into you, the urgency of his movements increasing. He broke the kiss, panting. "I need to feel you come around me," he groaned.
The frantic pace continued, your bodies moving in perfect synchronicity as you raced towards the peak of pleasure. Spencer's grip on your ass was bruising, but you didn't care. You needed this, needed him to make you feel alive in a way you never had before. His cock slammed into your g-spot over and over, causing non-stop pleasure.
Your kiss grew sloppier, tongues tangling and breaths mingling as if you were trying to breathe each other in. The taste of him was intoxicating. You felt the pressure building, the tension coiling tighter and tighter in your core, threatening to break at any moment.
"Cum for me, sweet girl," Spencer begged, his voice strained with his own need. And as if those words were the key to your release, your body obeyed. You felt the orgasm crash over you, a tidal wave of sensation that had you throwing your head back and screaming his name. Your nails dug into his shoulders, your body spasming on top of him, your pussy clenching around his cock like a vice.
The sight of you, lost in the throes of ecstasy, was too much for Spencer. With a roar, he reached his own climax, his cock pulsing inside you as he filled you with his cum. The feeling was indescribable, a mix of pleasure and relief that had him seeing stars. His hips jerked upwards, his body shuddering with the force of his release, his hands gripping you tightly.
You moaned at the feeling of him cumming in you, the sensation of being filled sending you spiralling over the edge into another orgasm. Your pussy clenched around him, milking every last drop from his cock as he emptied himself inside you. The feeling was primal, a deep-seated satisfaction that resonated through every part of your being.
As the last tremors of pleasure passed, you collapsed boneless against him, both of you trying to catch your breath. Your cheek was pressed against his chest, his heart pounding against your skin. You could feel the stickiness of your juices between your legs, mingling with his seed.
Spencer's hand came up to draw patterns across your spine, the touch gentle and soothing. His fingertips traced the contours of your back, moving in a lazy pattern. You leaned into the caress, the tension in your body slowly beginning to melt away.
For a while, you both lay there, just breathing, the sound of your harsh pants slowly evening out as your heart rates returned to normal. The silence between you was conent, a shared understanding that didn't require any words. You felt the warmth of his body, the steady thump of his heart, and the sticky warmth between your legs.
Spencer was the first to move, cupping your cheek gently and turning your face to look at him. His eyes searched yours, a soft smile playing on his lips as he brought you into a sweet, lingering kiss. When he finally pulled away, the words he whispered were filled with wonder and a hint of disbelief. "I can't believe I finally have you," he murmured, his voice filled with emotion.
The truth of his words hung in the air, the weight of them heavy on your chest. You had both crossed a line, one that could never be uncrossed. But as you stared into his eyes, the warmth of his gaze and the tender way he held you made you feel that this was right. That this was what you both needed.
You felt his cock begin to soften inside you, the pulsing subsiding as your bodies slowly calmed from the intense climax. The feeling was strange, almost bittersweet, as if your body was mourning the loss of his hardness. Gently, he pulled out, his movements careful and deliberate, mindful of your sensitivity. A gush of warmth accompanied his exit, leaving a wetness that was both a reminder of what had just occurred and a promise of what was to come.
Spencer looked down at you, a soft smile playing on his lips as he brushed a stray hair from your face. "Come on," he prompted. "Let's get cleaned up." He offered you a hand, helping you to your unsteady feet. Your legs felt like jelly, weak from the pleasure he had wrung from your body. You took his hand gratefully, allowing him to lead you to the bathroom.
Spencer turned the shower on, the sound of rushing water filling the small space. He stepped in, testing the temperature with his hand before turning back to you with a nod, extending his hand once again. You stepped in, the warm spray cascading over your bodies, washing away the sweat and semen.
He took a washcloth soaking it in the warm water, and gently began to clean you. You watched him, the tender way he moved the cloth across your skin, wiping away the sweat and slick. His eyes were focused on his task, the intensity of the moments before replaced by a softness that made your heart ache.
You leaned into his touch, your body relaxing against his as he took care of you. Each stroke of the washcloth was like a caress, soothing the ache in your muscles and the throb of your pussy. He was thorough, paying special attention to every inch of your skin, as if he was worshipping your body.
Once he was satisfied that you were clean, Spencer quickly cleaned himself and stepped out of the shower. He grabbed a towel and wrapped it around his waist before turning his attention back to you. "Let me dry you off," he murmured, his eyes gentle.
You stepped out of the shower, the warmth of the water leaving your skin glistening. Spencer took a towel from the rack, his movements methodical as he began to gently pat you down. Starting at your face, he moved down your neck, taking special care around the sensitive areas.
His touch was surprisingly gentle, almost reverent, as if he was afraid to break the spell that had been cast between you. You felt his hands on your shoulders, sliding down your arms, and around to your back, his touch feather light as he dried your skin. Each brush of the terrycloth cause goosebumps to break out.
Once Spencer had you thoroughly dried, he wrapped the towel around your body, tucking it in tightly, almost like he was afraid to let you go. He took your hand, leading you to the second bed. The mattress dipped under your weight as you sat down, the softness a welcome relief after the intense moments that had passed.
He took a seat beside you, his eyes searching yours. "I need you to understand something," he began, his voice serious. "What we just did, it's not just about the case or the adrenaline. It's not just about the physical attraction we have."
Spencer took a deep breath, his hand reaching out to cover yours. "I want you, not just your body, but all of you," he confessed, his gaze never leaving yours. "I want to know every part of you, every thought, every fear, every dream."
You could see the vulnerability in his eyes, the way his heart was laid bare for you. "This isn't just about scratching an itch," he continued. "It's about connecting on a level that goes beyond anything I've ever experienced." His words were a declaration, a promise of something more substantial than the fleeting moments of passion you've shared.
You took a deep breath, the warmth of the shower still clinging to your skin as you searched for the right words. "Spencer," you began, your voice a whisper. "I feel the same way." The confession felt like a weight lifted off your chest. You had been holding it in for so long, the fear of ruining your friendship and professional relationship had kept you from saying what you truly felt.
His eyes searched yours, the intensity in them making your heart race. "Do you mean it?" he asked, his voice hopeful yet tentative.
"Yes," you whispered, the word a promise that seemed to echo through the quiet hotel room. "I do." Spencer's hand tightened around yours, his smile growing as he leaned in to press a gentle kiss to your lips. It was a kiss that spoke of relief and joy, a silent acknowledgement that he wasn't alone in his feelings.
As the tension between you dissipated, you both got ready for bed, moving with a newfound ease. You slid under the cool sheets of the second bed. Spencer followed, his body fitting against yours as if he had been made for you.
You were so giddy with the intensity of what had just transpired that you werenât sure youâd be able to sleep. Yet, as you cuddled against his chest, listening to the steady rhythm of his heart, the comfort of his embrace began to lull you into a peaceful slumber. His arms tightened around you, his warmth seeping into your very bones.
As the night passed, you both slipped into a deep sleep, your bodies entwined like lovers lost in each otherâs embrace. The tension of the case and the passion between you had drained you both, leaving nothing but peaceful rest.

Life In Retrospect
It started, like most things in my life, with a bit of harmless indulgence. Iâd been out on the beach, metal detector in hand, just doing my thing. Call it a classic old guy hobby if you wantâI know it sounds like oneâbut thereâs something oddly satisfying about it. You spend your whole life accumulating things, working toward something, and yet, in your later years, you find yourself searching for whatâs been left behind.
Thatâs when I found it. The detector beeped, low and insistent, over something solid buried in the sand. Brushing it off, I uncovered a necklaceâa little tarnished but still striking. The pendant was shaped like a bird, wings spread wide, with an intricate design that caught the light just so. It looked old. And valuable, maybe. Not the kind of thing youâd expect to find washed up on a beach in a sleepy town like mine.
Being the curious sort, I took it home and started looking into it. Iâm no stranger to the internet, mind you. For an old guy, I know my way around a reverse image search. After a bit of digging, I finally found a match, buried in an obscure corner of the web. Turns out, this wasnât just any necklace. According to the article, it had magical propertiesâsomething about granting the deepest, most hidden wishes. But there was a catch: the wishes had to be subconscious. Wear it, the story claimed, and the wish would find you.
remember chuckling at the idea. It sounded like something out of a fairy tale. But then I paused, looking at the necklace in my hand, and wondered what exactly my subconscious would want, if it had the chance. Money? I wasnât exactly rich, but I got by just fine. Love? Iâd missed that boat, never found someone to share my life with. Fame? Ha, the idea made me laughâwhat would an old man like me even do with fame?
I didnât expect much from it, but it was an interesting enough piece, and it looked good against a sweater or tucked under a jacket, so I wore it. Weeks went by, and honestly, I forgot about it.
---
One day, I found myself at the gym. It was a bit of a routine for meânot the way it used to be when I was younger, of course, but I kept at it, lifting lighter weights and trying to stay active. This wasnât just any gym, either; it had a reputation around town. People called it the âgay gymâânot officially, of course, but you could tell. The men here were fit, stylish, and, well, meticulous about their bodies in a way I could only admire from a distance. They looked like they belonged in magazines, and Iâll admit, I liked to let my eyes wander now and then.
Still, I kept to myself. At my age, I wasnât exactly in the social scene here, and Iâd long since learned to stay on the sidelines. I came, did my exercises, enjoyed the view, and went home.
But that day, for the first time, someone came up to me. His name was Mikey, and Iâd noticed him before, of course. Hard not to, really. He was exactly the kind of man I might've dreamed of being, if I ever let myself dream about that sort of thing. He was young, muscular, with a powerful, chiseled build that made his plain T-shirts look sculpted onto him. His dark hair was perfectly styled, a casual yet intentional wave falling over his forehead. And that mustacheâthick, neatly trimmed, lending him a rugged, almost classic appeal, like he couldâve stepped out of a 1970s action movie. He even wore glasses, tortoiseshell frames that gave him an unexpected touch of charm and sophistication. I'd managed to snap a few photos of him before at the gym when he wasn't looking.
Iâd seen him around for months, usually catching glimpses of him bench-pressing absurd weights or chatting with friends, his laughter deep and easy. He looked like the kind of guy who owned his confidence, who walked through life knowing that people admired him. And, hell, I was no exception. I'd spent enough stolen moments sneaking glances at those bulging arms, that thick neck, the way his shoulders seemed to strain the fabric of whatever he wore. Every time, I felt a little flutter insideâa mix of envy and something more primal, something I barely let myself think about.
So imagine my surprise when he came up to me. Even he seemed a little surprised, his brow creasing just slightly like he didnât quite know what had prompted him to approach. And then, he asked me about my necklace.
âHey, whereâd you get that necklace?â he said, eyes flicking from my face to the pendant hanging over my chest. âItâs⊠different. Kind of cool.â
I felt a little jolt of somethingâexcitement, nerves, maybe bothâat the attention. He wanted to know about my necklace? Of all things? I opened my mouth to respond, and then something strange happened. The words just⊠flowed. I started telling him all about itâhow it had been crafted in some long-ago time by hands that shaped it with care, about the artisan whoâd worked on it and how they were renowned for imbuing special powers into their pieces. I talked about the mystical properties, the magic of wishes hidden deep in oneâs subconscious, waiting to be drawn out by the wearer.
Thing is, I didnât know any of that. Not consciously. But as I spoke, it felt like I was reading from some invisible script, like the knowledge was being given to me as I said it out loud.
Mikey listened, his gaze locked onto the pendant, almost entranced. Then, he looked back up at me, that curiosity still burning in his eyes.
âWould you mind if I tried it on?â he asked, his voice a little softer, like he was almost embarrassed by the question.
Without a second thought, I nodded, slipping the necklace off and handing it over to him. He took it carefully, his fingers brushing mineâwarm, rough skin, the kind that spoke of hard work and hours in the gym. He put it on, and I swear, the thing looked like it was made for him. It hung perfectly against his chest, the bird pendant resting right in the middle of that strong, solid frame.
As I watched him, something stirred in me. I felt a warmth spreading through my body, a tingling that started low and radiated outward, like a current of energy. I caught myself glancing down, noticing with a bit of embarrassment that I was half-hard. But I couldnât help itâthe sight of him, my necklace gleaming against his chest, his broad shoulders framed by that perfectly fitted T-shirt, was⊠well, letâs just say it was doing things to me.
âActually,â I said, clearing my throat and giving him an appreciative once-over, âit suits you. Why donât you keep it?â
Mikeyâs eyebrows lifted, surprised but clearly pleased. âReally? You sure?â
âYeah,â I said, my voice a little unsteady, trying to hide the flush of heat that was working its way up my neck. âConsider it a gift.â
---
That night, I felt warmer than I had in yearsâalmost feverish, but not quite. I thought maybe I was coming down with something; Iâd spent enough winters nursing colds to recognize that slight ache, the subtle throbbing behind my eyes. I drank water, tried to stay hydrated, but there was something strange about the feeling. It wasnât just heat; it was a tingling sensation that seemed to move through my limbs, settling into every muscle and joint.
I told myself it was just exhaustion. Maybe Iâd pushed myself too hard at the gym, or maybe the excitement of talking to Mikey had rattled my old bones more than I wanted to admit. Either way, I decided to call it a night, pulling the covers up and letting myself drift off to sleep.
But somewhere in the dead of night, I woke up drenched in sweat, sheets tangled around my legs. My skin felt hot, almost burning, and my heart pounded like Iâd just sprinted a mile. I lay there in the dark, trying to orient myself, but nothing felt right. My arms, stretched out beside me, felt heavier, thicker somehow. I pushed up to sit, but even that felt⊠different.
For a moment, I thought I might be having a stroke or some other senior moment, and the thought made my stomach twist. Taking a few deep breaths, I tried to shake off the dizziness, to piece together where I was and what was happening.
But as I sat up and tried to get my bearings, the space around me looked foreign. Strange shadows fell across walls I didnât recognize. There was a faint streetlight glow filtering through blinds that werenât mine, casting an odd light over an unfamiliar dresser, scattered clothes, and a large mirror across the room.
Where am I?
I swung my legs out of bed, almost stumbling under my own weight. The muscles in my legs tensed and shifted in a way that felt⊠powerful, but wrong. Instinctively, I reached for the light switch, my fingers brushing over the unfamiliar nightstand before finding it. The room flooded with light, revealing more alien surroundings. Posters on the wall. Dumbbells in the corner. This wasnât my bedroom. I didnât own posters. Or dumbbells.
Disoriented, I took a few steps, bare feet touching cool, unfamiliar carpet, as I wandered toward the bathroom. I had to steady myself on the doorframeâthe sheer strength I felt in my grip, in the size of my hand, jolted through me. I flipped on the bathroom light and looked up, squinting against the sudden brightness.
And then I saw him. Mikey.
In the mirror was his face, his bodyâmuscular and tanned, dark hair tousled and falling forward slightly. I could feel my heart hammering in his broad chest, watched hisâmyâeyes go wide as I touched my face, tracing over a jawline sharper than Iâd ever had, rough stubble under my fingers.
âOh⊠my god,â I whispered, hearing Mikeyâs voice, deep and smooth, coming from my own mouth. The face in the mirror looked just as shocked as I felt, my hands gripping the edges of the sink to steady myself as I took in the sight of every inch of himâof me.
A thrill shot through me, warmth bubbling up from my stomach as I ran my hand over the expanse of hisâmyâshoulders, over the swell of the chest, down to the ridged abs, and finally feeling up his impressive package. I couldnât stop the smirk creeping onto hisâmyâface, couldnât stop the pulse of excitement thrumming through me. Holy hell. This was real. I was Mikey.
And then, with a jolt, I realized something was missing. My hand went up to my neck instinctively, searching for the familiar weight of the necklace, but my fingers brushed only bare skin. No chain. No pendant.
A part of me, somewhere deep down, was concernedâconfused and alarmed, reallyâbut right now, looking at the smirking, shirtless, muscular guy in the mirror, the overwhelming feeling was⊠arousal. Iâd never looked like this. Iâd never felt like this.
Stay Tuned For Part 2. Â
