“We have a lot of songs that go well with the theme ‘To the World’, so it’s a relief. We decided that we’ll continue what ATEEZ has been doing.” Hongjoong declared during the group interview after the theme was released.

As the teams arrived in their individual waiting rooms, the first thing they noticed is the queue sheet pasted on the wall. Minyoung the first one inside the room, ran to the poster to check which order they got.

“Omo!” Minyoung cheered, jumping around the waiting room, making the others immediately check what she’s dancing about.

“Why? Why?” Yunho asked as he entered the room followed by the rest of the members.

“We’re performing 5th!” Minyoung announced still jumping around the waiting room in joy. She took Jongho’s hands and made him jump with her, the latter going along with her laughing.

"It seems like my telepathy to Changbin worked.” Wooyoung declared jokingly. The whole group feeling relieved that they weren’t performing first this round. When asked what order they wanted to perform in, they wanted to go as late as possible. Although it’ll give them pressure to do better as they watch the senior groups’ performances, they felt their stage would have a bigger impact the later they perform.

“Does that mean you’ll use up most of your glowsticks before our performance?” Yunho asked eyeing the bag Minyoung is carrying. She excitedly told them about how she bought the sticks in replacement of the lightsticks for the groups and about how she kept her promise to represent all fandoms in the show.

“I can’t believe she actually bought some just to prove she’s a fan.” San laughed when Minyoung playfully stuck out her tongue at him

“I wanted to bring my lightsticks but since we still have a schedule after this, I was forbidden from doing so.” Minyoung pouted bringing out the package of glow sticks “This is the closest thing I could bring.”

“Don’t you have key rings?” Jongho asked as Minyoung gasps in realization.

“I do! Ah..but I only have iKON-sunbaenim’s key ring. I wasn’t able to buy anything else.” 

Chuckling, Yeosang offered another alternative for the girl “Then just use Lightiny and change it’s color to every group’s official colors?”

Minyoung gaped at the suggestion, nodding and quickly hugging Yeosang in her excitement “Oh! I didn’t think of that. I’ll do that for the next recording then. Thank you oppa!”

“How about we place ATEEZ as the first performer?” Jisung suggested as everyone was contemplating on who should go first after Jeongin suggested iKON since they went last or THE BOYZ since they have prior experience with Road to Kingdom.

“Are you sure about that? Minyoung will have your head if you do that. Wooyoung will probably have mine too.” Changbin laughed already seeing how the girl would react when she sees it.

“On second thought, nevermind. Please don’t put ATEEZ at the first slot. I need to live. Minyoung-ah, I’m sorry. I won’t do that again.” Jisung said dramatically to the camera, making the whole group laugh at his antics.

Changbin placed the rest of the nameplates on the board “Let’s go 4th, then place ATEEZ after with SF9 last.” checking to see the rest of the group’s reaction before continuing “I’m satisfied with this but should we go first or ATEEZ first?”

“Let’s go first.” Seungmin declared with I.N agreeing with him “Let’s go first. We just need to do better.” the confidence in the statement making all of Stray Kids excited

“What if ATEEZ leaves a strong impact with their performance?” Felix asked the group after looking at the whole lineup

“We don’t know about that. But if it’s ATEEZ, it’s going to be big. Their energy on stage is what they’re known for after all.” Changbin shrugged as he knows what the group is capable of.

“Right. I’m sure they’ll do something surprising this round.” Felix nodded as they decided to let it up to fate and just perform 4th. Just like how Seungmin declared, they just needed to do better and that’s what they’ll aim for.

(During THE BOYZ’s Stage)

“This is it.” San exclaimed pointing at the screen.

“Quiet. Don’t speak.” Wooyoung cutting San off as he focused on the screen

Minyoung scooted her chair closer to Seonghwa, making herself comfortable hugging his arm as if they were just watching a show at their dorms. One hand holding up a glow stick to represent a lightstick for all the groups that will be performing.

“The water froze. Omo. Now it’s fire. Are they going for the theme Game of Thrones for the whole show?” Minyoung said under her breath afraid Wooyoung would scold her. She gasped when she realized how the camera looks like a game point-of-view, as if one is wearing VR headsets. 

When the fire went out, Minyoung slapped Seonghwa’s arm in realization. “They cannot be together because they’re Ice while the lady is Fire. Omo” The latter already used to the girl’s habits chuckled, patting her hand as he returned his focus on the performance.

“He’s hanging up there! Is he going up now? That’s sick!” Wooyoung exclaimed in awe as Sunwoo’s part came in.

“How are they coming up with that?” Seonghwa wondered outloud when Juyeon danced in front of the white sheet. “THE BOYZ really works well with their concepts.” Yunho added engrossed at the stage

“THE BOYZ-sunbaenim’s dance is really knife-like. They’re all in sync with each other.” Minyoung said catching herself and closing her mouth which was open throughout the performance. “Will we be able to do that too?”

“Yah. Do you want us to die? Don’t drag everyone in, just try it with the dance line and be satisfied with that please.” Hongjoong jokingly warned the girl while Yeosang let out a laugh shaking his head “Please don’t give her ideas.”

“So it started with snow and ended with fire?” San asked outloud still processing what happened when Minyoung pouted and answered him “I told you. THE BOYZ-sunbaenim are Ice while the lady was fire which is why they couldn’t be together!”

“That was awesome.” Hongjoong commented as the stage ended

“I knew they would pull it off, but Juhaknyeon kept saying ‘We already tried everything.’ But look at them!” Wooyoung ranted feeling betrayed by his friend

“Also, No Air means out of air.” Jongho started then Wooyoung gasped as if suddenly realizing the concept. “Oh, is that why they started underwater?”

“Then the water froze.” San added in “The freezing part was the start.” 

“I suddenly got goosebumps.” Yunho replied recalling the moments of the performance

“I already told you guys. You’re not listening to me.” Minyoung sulked, making Seonghwa laugh lightly and pat her back. “Don’t worry Minyoung-ah. I heard you.” Minyoung leaned her head on the eldest saying “This is why you’re the best oppa.”

“Like always, THE BOYZ-sunbaenim did such a fantastic job.” San concluded with the others agreeing.

(During iKON’s meeting)

Chani: It’s a secret but..when I was filming <Sky Castle>..

Yunhyeong: You filmed that with ATEEZ’ Minyoung right? That drama?

Chani: Yes. I did it with Minyoung. When we were filming for the drama, the two of us listened to <Killing Me> a lot.

Yunhyeong: <Killing Me>? Why?

Junhoe: Was the drama killing you? *laughs*

Chani: It was challenging to film the drama. That’s one reason, but the song comforted me a lot. I mean it. You can ask Minyoung about it too since we both found comfort with it.

“What song did iKON-sunbaenim pick? It must have been really tough to pick from all their songs.”  Minyoung asked scooting a bit closer to the monitor

“Is it <Love Scenario>?” Wooyoung gasped as the MCs hinted that the song they chose made iKON rank number one a lot. 

“But when I saw iKON-sunbaenim in the hallway, they were all wearing black so for it to be <Love Scenario>... Did they rearrange the song completely?” Minyoung wondered out loud as the hints all point toward Love Scenario.

“The number of views is reflected on the points. <Love Scenario> is widely known by among international fans.” Jongho noted remembering the criteria for the point system.

“That’s right. So they’re more likely to rank higher this time around.” San nodded

“Oh? She disappeared.” Yunho exclaimed surprised as Bobby came into the screen with his arms around a girl who suddenly disappeared.

“The End. Love Scenario’s lyrics are really sad despite the bright music. Are they changing it up to be more dramatic?” Minyoung asked as the music is still bare except the piano chords in the background.

“I feel like I’m watching a movie” Hongjoong commented as tune continued on when suddenly the accompaniment changed into a musical style song. Minyoung was singing along softly in her seat as the chorus played.

Yunho looked at Minyoung and nudged her lightly when DK’s solo part came again. He was grinning slightly while Minyoung slapped his arm lightly. “Don’t.” was all Minyoung said just as the music changed into Killing Me.

“Omo. He fell! Oh no. What is happening? Why is the camera blocking-..why is it so dark.” Minyoung confused at what is happening then the drop in the music made her gasp in surprise “That line! It’s..from Big Bang song. Omo.” Seonghwa had to hold on to Minyoung’s chair to stop her from scooting closer to the monitor.

ATEEZ all exclaimed when Chanwoo threw the lighter as the fire effects happened in the background. “This is it.” Wooyoung commented as the whole group bobbed along with the beat.

“Their stage really is killing me. Wah” San exclaimed as the stage came to an end. “That was a short 4 minute performance.”

“The tragedy of love. I think they had a great story like us.” Yunho noted during the group interview

Wooyoung piped in “Bobby-sunbaenim captivated everyone’s attention in the beginning." with San and Minyoung following up with "His gestures were really cool." "It felt as if we were watching his Show Me The Money stage."

(During BTOB’s Stage)

"Omo. It's BTOB-sunbaenim next!" Minyoung exclaimed when the next performer is called.

"She's starting. She's starting to fangirl." San chuckled as he looked on to the girl.

"If they also sing their famous songs then it's done. If it's <I'll Be Your Man> or <Missing You>, it's over. Game over." Minyoung made slicing motions with her hand. "Everyone knows those songs even if they're not a fan."

When the instrumental for Missing You played, Minyoung immediately grabbed unto Seonghwa's arm again already into the song. “That is so awesome” Wooyoung gasped in awe as soon as Changsub started the song.

“This is so cool” Hongjoong commented as soon as the screened dancers came into view with Peniel rapping.”Omo. Their harmonies really.” Minyoung looked about ready to melt in her seat, the rest of the members just chuckling at her reactions

“Take responsibility.” everyone from ATEEZ rapped along with Minhyuk as if doing the fanchant for the song.

"Omo. Minhyuk-sunbaenim!" Minyoung exclaimed as the sword dance and fight sequence happened. "He looks so cool. It’s just like watching a historical action drama.”

Yeosang was surprised when Minhyuk did the motion as if he’ll be taking his top off “What? What’s that?” Seonghwa’s hand automatically moving to cover Minyoung’s view while the girl grabbed it trying to see what is happening. Everyone chuckled when it was nothing while Minyoung pouted. “Why do you cover my eyes?”

“You’re still a baby.” Seonghwa answered seriously with Minyoung mumbling “Then why do you and San-oppa..” Yunho who was seating beside her laughed at the comment.

“Omo. It turned to Spring! Did a year pass already? Omo.” Minyoung gasped in realization as the song ended with petals falling down as if it’s Cherry Blossom season.

(During Stray Kids’ stage)

As soon as Stray Kids took the stage, the camera focused on floor with white sheet covering the dancers “What is this already? What are they going to do now?” Minyoung asked already anticipating an explosive performance from the current number 1 group from the Introduction Stage.

“What will they do on stage?” Jongho asked the same, intrigued by the stage set up from the start

The song started off eerie making Minyoung scoot closer to Seonghwa, half hiding but still looking at the monitors. “I’m scared.” she whispered as the song turns darker with Han’s part. “It’s <Side Effects>? But this is scary.”

“Their ideas are so..wow.” San could only exclaim in awe as Felix’s part started.

“What is happening? Omo. <God’s Menu> suddenly?” Minyoung gasped as the song suddenly changed but maintaining the darker atmosphere of the opening.

“Jisung-ah” she called out as Han did his solo parts “This is an entirely different song!”

“They’re hung upside down!” Yunho pointed out when a dancer was mirroring Chan’s moves. “Omo. That must have been so difficult.” Minyoung noted

“They’re using the stage in various ways.” San chuckled in awe as the set changed again

“Waah. I can’t take my eyes off it.” Hongjoong confessed as the song approached it’s climax

“Youngbok’s voice is really...” Wooyoung started while Minyoung nodded enthusiastically “Right?! A lot of people loves his voice. It’s so charming and it just..draws you right in.”

The rest of Stray Kids’ performance were audibly enjoyed by Wooyoung and Minyoung, both were letting out sounds of awe particularly when their friends gets a camera close-up.

“That was so fun! I mean it was eerie especially during the first part but when it changed to <God’s Menu>, it’s like their energy just exploded.” Minyoung said as she clapped for the group, still feeling the excitement and still in awe of their stage “I can’t believe that was just 4 minutes. Their ideas really...wow.”

“Now it’s your turn to awe them with our performance.” Yunho chuckled as the girl’s expression suddenly turned blank as if just remembering that they are performing next.

You and the iKON boys were best friends since middle school and never grew apart from each other. You saw from up close their every step since leaving high school, to the auditions, survival programme and finally their debut. It was no secret that you had a special spot to Jinhwan, well, except for him. But it also was no secret for the iKON boys that he felt the same, except for you of corse.

You were very close to all of them but specially Hanbin since he was the first one you met in the group and Jinhwan would always glare at the both of you when he saw you together, without you noticing. He loved both of you, he just wished you were closer to him instead, he was jealous and thought you had feelings for B.I.

Today they were having a concert in Seoul and like any other of their concerts, you were backstage helping them get ready.

"Stop moving! I can't do it properly." You said to June trying to style his hair. He sighed but finally stopped moving.

"Hi, June are you ready? And stop giving Y/N a hard time." Jinhwan says as he walks in and places a kiss on your cheek, a regular thing but never failed to make you blush and fortunately for you, he never seemed to notice.

"I'm just finishing his hair and he's good to go. Are you ready?" You say as you finish styling June's hair.

"If you could help me with my tie... We're starting with a slow song so we wanted to wear appropriate clothes." He says and you nod, walking to him and helping him fix his tie.

"That's my cue. Don't make out too much love birds, we'll be on stage in a short while." June says as he leaves the room laughing.

"I would punch him if I could." Jinhwan says and you just smile as he stares at you. "You look pretty up close."

"Are you saying I look ugly when I'm not this close?" You joke.

"Wha- no. That's not what I-" he stops talking when he sees you laughing. "You love seeing me flustered, don't you?"

"I actually do." you laugh and look at him. He looks back at you and you both stare at each other for a while before you finally break eye contact.

"Okay, all done, you can go now. Good luck." You smile and walk away.

It's been an hour since they went on stage and you were backstage watching them and singing along to their songs. They were having so much fun, they were truly happy and so were their fans, cheering for them nonstop. Suddently someone calls you to the room next to the stage and you run there think something was wrong.

"iKONICs today is a very important day to me... I am in love with someone and even though I don't know if she feels the same, I'm gonna shoot my shot... Y/N?" Jinhwan calls and looks at the door backstage waiting for you to walk on stage. You don't know what's going on untill someone pushes you on stage. You try to run off but Chanwoo stops you.

"Come here." Jinhwan says and you walk to him. He holds your hand and looks in the ways. "We have known each other for a few years now, you've always been by our side and I am thankful for you. But... I have never seen you as just a friend. Y/N I'm hopelessly in love with you and I'm sorry if I'm embarassing you by confessing in front of my fans but I wanted this to be special and I wanted them to know who is the girl I love. You're so important to me and I was so scared of losing you, that's the only reason I didn't confess earlier." By now you were in tears. "Please say something."

"I love you too." You hugged him tight, letting your tears flow. The crowd and the members cheered as Jinhwan held you with a huge smile on his face.

Bobby turned to the crowd and started chanting "Kiss her, kiss her, kiss her" and everyone joined.

Jinhwan, pulled away, looked in your eyes smiling and put a strand of hair behind your ear, leaning in and kissing you softly. It was like everyone around you disappeared, it was only you and your new boyfriend, like nothing else mattered.

And it was true, nothing else mattered, he was all you needed.

Summary: Yoori and Miyoung finally get to hangout during their group’s free time. Plus a hint to the future! 😉

Yoori slowly made her way over to the table in the far corner of the cafe, balancing a tray of two drinks and cakes. Her tongue poked out in concentration, focusing a bit too hard on not spilling anything.

“Yah, any day now,” Miyoung called out from the table, waiting for the girl to make it with their order. 

“I’m coming. I’m coming,” Yoori glared at the tray.

“My latte better still be hot,” Miyoung said, crossing her arms over her chest with a smirk. 

Yoori made it to the table, and gently placed the tray down. A bit of her strawberry smoothie spilled. “Damn it.”

Miyoung laughed as the pink haired girl slumped into her seat. “Thank you,” she said as she reached for her caramel latte and blueberry cake.

Yoori smiled at the older girl, “Your welcome, Unnie!” She then reached out to grab her smoothie and the chocolate cake.

“I love this place,” Miyoung smiled looking around at the cafe decor. 

Flowers hung from the ceiling along with industrial lights. Candles were lit by each window, vanilla scented. The walls, a light pink, had inspirational quotes in white. Jazz music whispered from the speakers in each corner of the cafe.

“Right? I’m glad that we walked by. Or else I wouldn’t have ever found this place,” Yoori said, sipping on her drink, looking around, smiling.

“How’s your free time going?” Miyoung asked going to eat her cake.

“Really good! I’ve been spending it catching up on some animes,” Yoori smiled sheepishly, “But also with the boys.” 

“That’s good. You guys start your tour soon, right?” 

“Yep. I’m super excited!” Yoori said, clapping her hands, and bouncing in her seat. Miyoung laughed. Yoori had a lot of energy. It was the first thing she thought, when she first met her during their last promotions. Normally, overly excited people made Miyoung nervous, but Yoori was different. She found a way to make everyone feel comfortable.

“How about you guys?” Yoori asked, smiling at her unnie.

“Our time off has been really good,” Miyoung smiled. 

Yoori beamed. She was glad that Miyoung was having a good time. She knew how hard she and her group had worked, so they definitely deserved this time off.

“This is gonna sound cheesy,” Yoori grimaced. Miyoung looked at her, amused. “But I’m really glad that we’re finally hanging out and not just texting.”

“You’re right. That was cheesy,” Miyoung laughed. Yoori pouted. “But I’m glad that we’re hanging out too.”

“I need more girl friends. The boys are beginning to drive me crazy,” Yoori made a face.

“Yeah. They do that,” Miyoung nodded, knowingly. “You seem like you’d be good at making friends though.” 

“Yeah, but I feel like I’m always busy, so I don’t really get the chance to keep those relationships going. Does that make sense?” Yoori asked her drink, frowning.

Miyoung shook her head, smiling, “That makes sense. I’m definitely not the best person to talk about this though, seeing as I have like two friends outside of SF9.”

“Am I one of them?” Yoori asked, around a spoonful of chocolate cake.

“I wouldn’t be here with you, if you weren’t,” Miyoung rolled her eyes.

Yoori giggled, “Good. Cause you’re definitely one of mine.” 

The two girls continued to eat their cakes and talk a bit more. Soon they finished and walked out of the cafe, promising to come back, and walked down the street doing some window shopping.

“Unnie!” Miyoung turned to Yoori who was standing by a sign that pointed to a building, reading karaoke. Yoori smiled wide, waving her arms in the air,

“No,” Miyoung said, walking away.

“Please,” Yoori begged, grabbing Miyoung’s hand, bottom lip jutted out.

Miyoung then realized just how dangerous Yoori’s pout was. “Fine.”

“Yay!” Yoori bounced around. She took Miyoung by her hand and they made their way inside the building. They quickly rented a room for an hour, (Yoori wanted it for two hours, but Miyoung convinced her otherwise.) and ordered some snacks.

“I hate going to karaoke. Be honored that I’m here with you,” Miyoung said, placing her things on one side of the seats.

Yoori’s mouth dropped looking at the older girl, “You hate it?” Yoori made a look of disgust.

“Will this jeopardize our friendship?” Miyoung laughed, looking at the younger.

“It’s possible,” Yoori placed her hands on her hips. “But if you sing with me today, then maybe it can be salvaged.”

“Fine, but only cause I like you,” Miyoung said looking through the songs.

Yoori squealed and pounced on the seat next to the blonde. “Which one?”

“I was thinking,” Miyoung started off then put in the number for the song. 

Yoori smiled when the song came on and reached for the mics, handing one to Miyoung. The first few seconds of PSY’s New Face began playing, and Yoori let out a whoop. 

Miyoung laughed at the girl and joined in, singing along with her.

When the song ended, Yoori looked for another song. Finding it, she placed her mic down and looked at Miyoung. Taeyang’s Eyes, Nose, Lips started playing. Miyoung’s eyes widened, a smile on her lips and began to sing.

As time went on, they realized that they had almost sang all the songs there (Not really, but it felt that way to Yoori).

They had just finished singing SHINee’s Ring Ding Dong, when Miyoung saw that they had time for one more song.

“Which one?” Miyoung asked, looking over Yoori’s shoulder as she scrolled through the songs.

She smiled when Yoori picked one, and they both got up as the first few bars of iKON’s Love Scenario started to play. 

They belted out the words, laughing. Yoori even began to do the choreo just like she had been doing with all of the songs. Miyoung joined in this time, laughing.

When the song ended, they fell back on the seats trying to catch their breaths, lazy smiles in display.

“That was the best!” Yoori squirmed and slowly without realizing it, cuddled up to Miyoung, who tensed at first, but relaxed. Yoori was comforting.

“I’m definitely considering coming here more. But only with you. The boys can never see me doing this. It’ll ruin my rep,” Miyoung laughed.

“Yay! It’ll be an ‘our’ thing,” Yoori clapped her hands. She smiled at the idea of hanging out with Miyoung more often.

“Actually. What if next time, we invite Ollie?” Miyoung asked, sitting up.

Yoori sat up too, “Oh yes, please! I love her!” The girl clapped her hands smiling.

“I’ll text her next time we hang to see if she’s free,” Miyoung nodded, making a note on her phone.

“Ooh, I know someone else that we could invite,” Yoori said, smiling at her hands. Miyoung looked at her, with questioning eyes. Yoori looked up then said, “Bao from iKON.”

Miyoung smiled, “I like that idea. She seems really cool.”

“Ollie probably has her number,” Yoori said, furrowing her eyebrows.

“Most likely,” Miyoung laughed, smoothing the crease in between her brows.

Yoori smiled at her, “I’m gonna have more friends!” She threw herself back on the seat, giggling.

“Wonpil?!”

“Jae, I swear to christ—”

“Wonpil?!” Jae’s voice was rising in pitch by the second, a look of astounded horror on his face.

“Yes, Wonpil, what’s so—”

“Our keys? The snake? Our snake that plays the keys?”

“Really, you’re still using that? That’s like, three years old Jae—”

“You—you took one look at the pink sweater and went hmmm, yes, this is the hot stuff, real sexy—”

“Jae!”

“—any man that wears this I will date him on the spot—!”

“Jae!” 

The man cackled, leaning right back into his gaming chair with his head tipped over the side. “Oh my god this is just...!”

You pressed your tongue to your cheek, waiting for the grown man to gather himself up. Though, knowing Jae, it could well take a while. “You finished?”

He swung back, elbows coming to his knees with his eyes incredulous. “Kim Wonpil?”

“Yes.”

“Not Brian?”

“Why would it be Brian?”

He inhaled through his teeth, tutting. “It’s always Brian. And then, of course, yours truly.”

You sighed, rolling your eyes. “I regret ever talking to you.”

He sat back, sending you a smirk. “Nahh, you would never regret me.”

“Can we just go back to discussing like, dinner tonight?” you glanced distastefully around at his room, taking note of the pile of laundry abandoned by his wardrobe. “Like I came into your lair for in the first place?” 

“Hey, easy there—!”

“Honestly Sungjin would have a fit if he comes in here,” you announced, a mischievous glint in your eye.

“Well it’s a good job he isn’t coming in here.” Jae easily met your stare, pursing his lips, knowing full well that starting a battle with him would be the hardest you could try to win in the dorm. You backed down, but didn’t shy away from his stare as he pressed his fingertips together, taking on the role of a faux mastermind, “But no, dinner can wait, because this—this—is much more intriguing.”

Taking in the nod of his head, and the smug grin on his features, you realised that you weren’t going to escape as you’d hoped. Might as well be comfortable.

“Now,” he began once you took a seat on his bed, flicking a rogue sock to the floor, “start from the beginning. When did you realise that you were hopelessly in love with this, Mr Kim.”

“Since when was this an interrogation?” you interjected. “Also I am not ‘hopelessly in love’!”

“Infatuated?”

“No!”

“Lovesick?”

“Not a bit!”

“Helplessly inclined on the edge of your seat to hang upon his every little word?”

You didn’t even answer him that time and merely glared at him. 

He nodded pensively, patting a finger against his chin as he murmured, “In denial, interesting...”

“What?!” 

He changed tact. “Do you not know the exact time for your realisation for your deep feelings?”

“Even if I did I wouldn’t tell you,” you sulked, folding your arms crossly. He let out a quiet ‘aww’, which you ignored to the best of your capacity. “What has gotten into you?”

“I’m just trying to work out if you are,” he cleared his throat, “fit for my closest colleague and good friend. After all, we’ve been through so much, I wouldn’t want any harm to come to him—”

There were many things wrong to his wistful, jesting sentence, but there was one thing that you had to refute: “Last week you told Sungjin you would sell Pillie out for half a churro.”

His smart mouth stopped for a few seconds, and you figured briefly that you’d perhaps won and could leave. Alas, you were mistaken.

“Refers to Mr Kim as ‘Pillie’, indicating a very special degree of endearment, interesting...”

You groaned, falling back onto the rest of the mattress, asking the world what you’d done to deserve this.

Truth be told, Jae wasn’t worried for his bandmate or you in the slightest. Hearing your accidental slip of your feelings, everything seemed to come together at once and fit like two missing jigsaw pieces. You both had traits that accentuated the other, and you got along so well. If you two got together, he discerned, there would be few power couples that could compete.

He didn’t understand shipping culture, but this was perhaps his one exception. It just made sense! His soft charms next to your harder ones, your sense next to his sunny optimism, the both of you still sharing much in common.

“Six months,” you suddenly admitted.

“Hmm?”

“My, you do delight in my torment,” you grumbled before shooting him a look that softened as you continued, the memory trickling to the surface and making it impossible for you to not smile. “I’ve liked him for six months. It hit me when he fell asleep on my shoulder on our trip up to Incheon.”

One of those shared things being bouts of shyness.

He decided in that moment that it was time for some divine intervention.

“That’s a long time ago,” he mentioned, “and you haven’t done anything about it?”

“How could I?” you countered, though it was more sad than feisty. “How do I confess to the gentlest, happiest soul? How am I supposed to even know if he likes me back? He’s cuddly with everyone, you know.”

One glance at your crestfallen eyes that shone through your little chuckle lit a spark in his head.

“Don’t you worry, Y/N. God works in mysterious ways,” he reassured, sending you a wink.

And so began the grand unravelling of The Great Jae’s plan. 

Step 1: Establish if the Feelings are Mutual

The first step, as Jae understood it, was crucial—nothing else could be done until he knew if the keyboardist also had a whopping crush on his friend. And they had made some fair points about how hard it would be to calculate whether Wonpil was just being friendly affectionate or more than that.  

So, to get the answer cleanly without collateral, Jae concocted a plan so cunning he could put a tail on it and call it a weasel.

The next day, Jae slipped into the practice room, after locating his whereabouts through a super secret and effective method dubbed as ‘asking Sungjin’. He strode up to the keyboard set where the younger was staring intently at one of the keys, swiftly adopting a confident stance—he would not be swayed by any sneak attacks, and especially not attempted deflections with puppy eyes: a weapon he knew his bandmate was highly proficient in.

Hearing him mumbling about whether they should invent a H note, Jae made the choice to enact Step 1, taking advantage of the possible surprise characteristic.

“Wonpil, do you like Y/N?” 

Peering up with his classic bright smile, Wonpil answered him swiftly, “Yeah!”

Jae frowned, the response seeming too quick. He had to comprehend it as a misunderstanding of his question. He pressed the charge. “Well, yeah, I figured you liked them, but I meant it as in more of a—”

“I know how you meant it, hyung,” he looked back at the keys, testing a C tentatively.

“Oh.” Jae was surprised to say the least. “How did you...?” 

“I’ve been waiting for one of you to ask me,” he explained poutily, “you always seemed to tease me about it when I didn’t have someone, and then as soon as I actually fell, not a peep.” 

Jae had to admit that the entire exchange had caught him off guard, as he became distinctly aware of how slowly the cogs were turning in his head. “You were... waiting?”

He nodded urgently at the sound board, twisting a dial as he held his ear closer to the instrument.

“You know the sound isn’t on right?”

“The key is squeaky.”

“Oh.”

“Of course I was waiting,” Wonpil replied simply, taking a simpering pause, “aren’t you going to ask me?” 

Jae watched as the younger suddenly sat up and swung himself to look at the legs of his keyboard stand, giving them a good wobble. There was no doubt a squeak then.

“Ask what, about what you like about them?” he suggested, not really sure himself. 

“Finally!” The younger threw himself back out from underneath the instrument. “Everything, hyung, I think I’m actually in love! Their laugh, their kindness, their eyes, their jokes—I feel like I’m going to burst whenever I see them, like into just, laughter, I can’t stop smiling, I just want to hug them and kiss their nose...” When he knocked his head back up to him, his smile was even brighter, his cheeks lightly blushed. “Is this what Younghyun-hyung means when he says that love hurts?”

Jae was more than happy to hear proof—it meant Step 1 was a success after all—but hearing the sap did mean he had to hide his grimace.  But now he was presented with a more severe problem, as he knew full well that wasn’t what the bassist, who could dip into the realms of emo territory, meant at all by that phrase.

It didn’t mean he was going to explain it. Especially seeing those eyes brimming with adoration for his closest friend—he cursed at himself giving into the puppy eyes after all. 

“Yeah, probably,” he answered vaguely, opting to change the subject, “well, I’d better be off, thanks!”

“Hey, hyung, where do you think you’re going?” Wonpil called after him as he attempted to make a tactical retreat, having gathered the information he needed. 

Jae turned around, lying through his teeth as his brain searched for an excuse. “I... well, I need to go and do...”

“Without wishing me good luck on fixing my keyboard stand?” he enquired, pouting childishly from the other side of the room.

“Good luck...?”

“Ok, you can go!” he announced, sending a wave. “Bye!”

And with that, Jae exited the practice room, frowning at his reflection in the glass of the window as he passed through. Wonpil was strange sometimes, that was for sure. 

It didn’t matter in the long run though, it was going to be your problem soon rather than his—a thought that elicited a snicker from him—and with Step 1 complete, he could proceed to Step 2. 

Step 2: Create the Confession Arrangement

Jae had figured that the third step would have required the most work, but he had be drastically wrong. He’d presumed coming up with the perfect scenario for a confession would have been easy, but once he’d sat down in the living room to think in peace, an hour later he found himself lying on the floor, staring up at the ceiling, without a single idea in his head. 

Chasing the tails of all the ideas that taunted him and skipped just out of reach every time in his head, he barely heard the sound of someone else entering the fray.  And he would have continued to have done, had the newcomer not come to stand beside him and peered over his sprawled body.

“Hyung, are you ok?”

The deep voice snapped his eyes from where they were transfixed on the ceiling to the cherubic face of Dowoon, currently in the process of devouring a pretzel.

Jae snorted, still barely comprehending his presence. “Of course.”

The younger tilted his head to see him somewhat the correct way up. “Are you sure? You’re laying on the floor.”

“I am aware, and yes, a hundred percent,” he answered, putting on a confident front as best he could, “this, young padawan, is the sight of a master at work.”

Dowoon hummed in an agreement of sorts, “Oh, right.”  He took a deep bite of the sweet dough. “What are you working on?”

Jae finally recognised the notable rustling of a paper packet, his eyes falling to the treat. “I am devising the most wondrous plan the world has seen to—is that my vanilla pretzel?”

“No.”

He said it so quick and devoid of emotion there was no way to tell whether it was a lie or not. Jae was left peering up at the man as he took another bite, who sent him a thumbs up as a form of endorsement.  “Right. Well... I am devising a plan that will get Wonpil and Y/N to admit their feelings for one another and finally unite as the planet’s best ship and sail off into the distance together!” A victorious grin on his lips, he looked like a man that had already found success. “I have already completed Step 1 with peak success, now I must move to Step 2 and—”

“What was Step 1?”

“Finding out whether their feelings were mutual, of course!” Jae guffawed, surprised that Dowoon could not connect the two dots.

He peered over to him again to see him frowning as he angled himself to take the final bite of the pretzel. Before he could ask what the matter was, he preempted him, stating, “You didn’t know?”

That caught the eldest off guard. “What?”

“You didn’t know that they both like each other?” he glanced towards him, eyes expectant as he shoved the dough past his lips. “I thought everyone knew.”

“Well, I...” Jae coughed, quickly covering his back, “...there’s a difference between assumption and ascertaining proof, maknae. Now that I have evidence I may move onto Step 2.”

“And that is?”

Jae caught the tone of curiosity this time in the intonation of the man’s deep voice, making note to take advantage of it as soon as possible. “Create the confession arrangement. I must make a scenario where the only possible eventuality is that the two confess to one another their true feelings.”

Dowoon nodded, licking his fingertips free of leftover sugar.

“You wanna help?” he enquired, angling his head to get a better view of his band mate’s features, waiting for the smile to arise.

“Sure.” Discarding the paper bag on the coffee table nearby, he lowered himself to the floor, laying on his back and mimicking his elder. 

“Good choice,” Jae clapped, turning his attention back to the ceiling.

“What ideas have you got so far, then?” Dowoon began, drumming his fingers against his stomach as he followed suit.

“Well...” Panic filtered through Jae’s system, as he suddenly realised he didn’t have even the tiniest beginnings of a thread to follow, let alone a part of a suggestion. “We could lock them in a room,” his mouth said before his brain could catch up. He cursed to himself in his head. No, that was stupid. It was so inhumane! 

“What, like an escape room scenario?”

Jae’s head immediately tilted towards the man lying beside him. Yoon Dowoon, as things turned out, was a secret genius. 

Without warning, he laughed, getting to his feet and grabbing the younger by his hand to pull him up after him. “Yes! Exactly like an escape room!” He held him by the shoulders and asked, “Do you have any ideas for any puzzles? Or riddles? Could be an anagram, or a pattern somehow, maybe general knowledge based?”

Dowoon thought long and hard for a moment, and it showed on his face, his dark eyes going wide as his jaw dropped. “No, but I know where to get the keys to the locks on the doors.”

Their eyes met for a good few seconds as Jae mulled over the decision of whether to bring up how he had obtained such knowledge. He finally rationalised he’d ask at another less frantic time. 

“Great!” he exclaimed, before ordering, “You go sort that. I’ll go get some pens and paper. Be quick!”

And so Step 2 was in motion.

Step 3: Organise the Confession Arrangement

“Ok, listen up soldiers,” Jae declared, “because here’s the plan.”

He was stood at the front of the work room beside a board that he’d stolen from the marketing block, proudly displaying a rudimentary plan of the dormitory and accompanied by several haphazard arrows drawn in a dying pen. He overlooked the rest of the room courageously, eyeing up his gang of abductees volunteers, who merely stared at him confusedly in return. 

“Why am I here, again?” Sungjin suddenly enquired, glancing around the room. “This surely is one of those Things-We-Don’t-Tell-Sungjin-About things, right? I’m pretty sure I’m not supposed to know about this.”

“But none of us do...!” Jae uttered, rolling his palms to encourage the others to catch onto his meaning. They didn’t. “None of us know about it, yeah? Because none of us did it!”

“But that makes no sense,” Sungjin rationalised immediately, “because someone will have had to have set all the puzzles up?”

Jae didn’t have an answer to that. To both a blessing and a curse, however, he didn’t have to reply to that question. He just got another one in its place.

“I’m sorry, wait, what are we even doing?” Younghyun interjected, glaring at the hastily dictated plan with a curled lip. 

“Getting Wonpil and Y/N together, we’ve been over this, Brian.”

“Surely they can just... do it themselves though, right?” Sungjin countered, squinting at the header of the board. “It really doesn’t require an all-out, multi-step plan—is this Step 3?” 

“Good to see you’re checking the diagram,” Jae retorted.

Younghyun’s voice was incredulous, “How many steps are there?!” 

“Four.” It was Dowoon’s turn to interrupt, it seemed, and he piped up fluidly before Jae could try to regain any control upon the late night board meeting.

“What were steps 1 and 2?!”

“Step 2 was inventing this beautiful idea,” Jae started.

Only for Dowoon to finish, “Step 1 was him working out if Wonpil liked Y/N back.”

It was their turn to eye Jae up in disbelief, a chorus erupting:

“You didn’t know?!”

“How can you’ve not known?!”

“All he does is pine after them...!”

“Alright alright!” Jae called, pleading for the three to settle. To his fortune they did, but most likely only out of the prospective joy of him further making a fool of himself. “The past steps don’t matter, I need your help now to complete Step 3. You will all reap the benefits of Step 4, when this is all a success because—as you said—all Wonpil does is pine after Y/N. This,” he pointed assertively to the diagram, “will put a stop to all that!”

Silence settled over the room as the three all glanced at each other, all nodding in some form in agreement. 

Jae took the chance and continued, his hand laying out the directions on the board as he spoke, “So, all we have to is move Wonpil to Y/N’s room, and set up the puzzles in there. Sungjin, Dowoon, you’re on set-up, Brian you’re on lift duty. It is all objectively simple, but one wrong move could wake either of them up thus exposing the entire ploy and I’ve yet to come up with an excuse so you’ll be on your own.”

“Of course,” Younghyun muttered, not even bothering to look Jae in the eye to convey the sense of how done he was. 

“You’re not helping?” Dowoon piped up, his soft features portraying a slight hue of hurt.

“I can’t, Y/N already expects me. If I’m caught then there’s zero opportunity of a follow up plan—at least one that features me,” Jae explained, ignoring the mumbles of ‘perhaps it would be better that way’ that echoed around the room. He shot a look to the one he suspected the most of being the owner of said grumblings, watching as he leant back in his chair. 

“Can this not at least wait ‘til tomorrow?” Younghyun requested, emphasising his point with a yawn. 

“No! Y/N is out Saturday, and regardless we must strike while the iron is hot!”

This sent the energy of the room from benevolent boredom to startled flurry.

“It’s happening right now?!” The leader desperately looked to the eldest for reassurance that this was most certainly not the case, only to find none.

“Yep,” he stated, a shrug on his shoulders and a smirk on his lips. “Once you’re done, you make sure you leave no trace of yourselves and lock the door. Leave the key on the living room table and then you may return to your own rooms and do what you wish—as long as there is no noise. If their sleep is interrupted, the plan could quickly go south,” he finished with a clap, “now, positions everyone! And good luck!”

With only a few groans, the three practically sprung into action, much to Jae’s surprise. Dowoon piled up the props and prompts riddled with such in his arms, Sungjin holding the door for him and Younghyun who both head out in quick succession. 

“Thank you, Sungjin,” Jae called to the door. He received an expression of many emotions—disdain, disbelief, bemusement—all around a set of very bright eyes. He exhaled abruptly in what was a laugh that demonstrated that mixture, before leaving with the shake of his head.

It was showtime.

You awoke gradually to the sun streaming through the wide gap between the curtains. Groaning, you cursed to yourself about how you’d forgotten to close them the night before.

After admitting that if you wanted to go back to sleep or even just lay in your bed in peace for a bit longer the curtains would have to close, you sat up, only to swear you had shut them the night before.

Rolling out of the covers dozily, you hobbled over to the window, squinting against the light, where upon the curtain tie you found a piece of paper dictating a series of hand-drawn triangles in shades of pink, grey and white. Rubbing your eyes you tried to detach it, only to find it secured with string. 

Feeling confusion flush through your bones as quickly as the sleep left them, you looked across the room to see another sheet of thin card this time, roughly torn at the corner and branded with a giant, rounded, crimson splodge adorned with a malformed triangle of green. 

Both thoughtless and speechless in entirety, your eyes frantically searched the room for further signs of intrusion. To your disturbance you found your room littered with rudimentary placards, decorated with strange arrows directing to one another, or strange looped calligraphy. One was stuck crudely to a Star Wars shopping bag, and as much as you enjoyed The Rise of Skywalker, you definitely did not have a bag for it. Another was blatantly an anagram. Making the mistake of looking up you were confronted with a gigantic poster of a film with the title and cast heading covered by MS Paint swirls. The image depicted seemed familiar, but it didn’t make their staring faces any less intimidating as they glared at you from your ceiling.  It was as if you’d walked into a nightmare that was haunted by puzzless.

“What the actual, ever loving f—” Your voice cut off as soon as your gaze finally rested back upon your bed. Only to find someone else in it. 

Thoroughly creeped out, your brain ricocheting through thoughts and questions like they were caught in a hurricane—who is that, how long have they been there, they were sleeping right next to me, they snuck into my room, is it a sasaeng, did they do anything—you were ready to charge towards the door and yell your lungs out for help.

Until the figure shifted in their sleep, their arms thrown up cutely by their head which peaked out from behind the duvet. It was Wonpil.

Breath catching in your throat, your hand clasped itself to your mouth in an effort to not shriek in surprise more than anything. 

You’d shared your bed with Wonpil. He’d been right beside you, his beautiful face just inches from yours, sleeping peacefully with his hands sweetly gripping the covers and his adorable little snores—

Your heart lurched at the image your mind conjured, for it to then crash over the fact that he had the audacity to sneak into your room.  The conundrum before you left you in turmoil—you couldn’t believe that you’d fallen so hard for a man who would break into your room in the middle of the night and disregard your privacy so blazonly. 

It didn’t make any sense. You’d known Wonpil for a while, and he showed so much respect the entirety of that time. Yes, he was clingy, but you could think of multiple occasions where you had told him to back off and give you space, because you were stressed or angry with someone else or even just too hot to let him lay on your shoulder, and every time he did. You couldn’t think of a single time when he came into your room without knocking either. 

But was that enough to discount the ‘first time for everything’ rule?

Given the circumstances, perhaps it was.

Regarding the mess of your room again, it was plausible that Wonpil could have put up some of the weird pieces of card, but he couldn’t have done it all—not without help at least. Taking in the height of your ceiling, he was too short to reach it. Had someone stood on your bed you would have woken up, there was no doubt about it, and you didn’t have a desk in your room, so there was no chairs to stand on. The nearest ones were in the others’ rooms, but it seemed too far of a stretch—especially since you knew that there was one person that could reach.

Jae.

You glared in disdain at the corner of your room as if you were on The Office, until you remembered that you weren’t alone in the room. 

Taking a deep breath you silently made your way across your rug to the side of your bed. Kneeling in the soft cotton you took in the sight of Wonpil closer this time, resisting the urge to stroke his soft cheek that he’d puffed out as he pouted in his sleep. Perhaps it wouldn’t be long before he woke. 

“This wasn’t you, was it,” you murmured to him, taking gentle delight in how he wriggled towards you in his sleep at the distant sound of your voice. He looked so sweet, and the concept of being able to wake up to him beside you every morning made heat rush to your cheeks like a tsunami. 

He was so good at making you smile, he could do it without even trying. The thought reminded you of when he had gone out of his way to somewhat try to, making you his chosen target for the only ‘prank’ he’d ever performed. He’d decided that he would for his prank debut place  tiny plastic dinosaurs around the place for you to run into. You’d been bemused, but only for a day, quickly finding him out after catching him placing one in the fridge. 

It was fortunate that you’d been reminded of the memory—even if you were primarily focused on how angelically he’d giggled a threadbare excuse that neither of you believed for a second but only made you fall in love further—as it that had been a while ago, and filling your room with strange and distastefully carried out puzzles was not what you figured his prank comeback would be. He would at the very least make them look nice. 

“I’m sorry for doubting you,” you whispered, tucking the blanket further to his chin to keep him warm before getting to your feet again. You had to admit, you got a bit of a rush out of playing detective, and with a theory hot on your mind, you knew it wouldn’t be long before you found evidence that proved it.

First you checked the door it discover it locked as you had expected. Then you moved to the puzzles.  Staring intently at the placards, you found that they all pointed to someone who was either awful at editing and drawing alike, or had simply done it in haste and didn’t care for the visual outcome. However this was not as concrete as you’d imagined. You definitely couldn’t see it being anyone other than Jae but after checking several puzzles and not seeing a single bad joke or reference in sight, you were beginning to doubt your first impressions.

Hearing the bed creak and a groggy whine muffled by a yawn, you flicked your head away from your wardrobe. There you found Wonpil sat up in a nest of your duvets at his waist, with dishevelled hazel tresses endowing him with faux cat ears or sorts. He was barely awake and hardly functioning, blinking lethargically while he slowly returned to the world of the living.

“Morning,” you greeted with a stutter, clearing your throat sheepishly straight after.

His lips spread cutely into a grin. “Morning...!” he sang. 

It took several minutes of you trying to maintain your gaze on the messy art piece that was sleepy Wonpil, before giving up and disappointedly returning to the barely-legible riddle in your hands, for the man to finally speak with up with a frown.

“Wait, why are you in my room?” he enquired, rubbing his nose. “Did you sneak in...?”

“Actually you’re in mine,” you corrected, squinting at the calligraphy so as to let him come to terms with the situation.

His eyes opened in a flash, glancing around the room in astonishment. “Oh my god why am—I’m in yours?!” He gushed with apologies. “I’m sorry, Y/N, I didn’t sneak in I promise, I don’t remember coming in here! I don’t understand... did I sleepwalk...?”

“If you did it would be a first,” you stated, chucking the paper to the bin near your closet and staggering to your feet, “it’s ok, Pil, I’m not mad. Besides, I think you were carried.”

“Carried?”

“You always were a heavy sleeper. But that does mean that Younghyun or Dowoon are in on this, which means I don’t understand what this whole thing is,” you explained, glancing up at the ceiling and sighing exasperatedly, “do you recognise that movie?”

Following your line of sight, he jumped at the sudden pair of eyes that he found staring at him. He shook his head. “N-no. Y/N... what’s going on?”

“Apparently the guys decided that for their latest prank they were going to make an escape room of sorts, and then stuck you in here with me for double the fun.”

“But why?”

You shrugged. “I guess they’ll open the door if we figure out all the puzzles of something. Problem is these puzzles are like, stupidly hard.” You pointed over to his right. “Like, why is there a mutant tomato on my wall?”

“Ew,” Wonpil said with a grimace as he beheld the visage of the red splodge. 

“I know right. Whichever one of the did it should never consider art school. Like, ever.”

Silence fell over the two of you as your eyebrows knit together, once again thinking over the possible answers to any of the dozens of puzzles. Wonpil meanwhile slipped out of your blankets and headed towards the door.

You had half a mind to call out to him and say it was locked, but you figured he’d already worked that out, so instead you watched him out of curiosity. 

He came to the door with a stop, rattled on the door handle once, then twice, before pressing his face close to the wood. “Sungjin!” he wailed, before pressing his ear to it to listen.

For several moments there was complete utter quiet over the room and the dorm outside. The only sound that could be heard was the birds outside, and even they broke into quiet when they heard an unusual absence of chatter. 

Then out of the blue Wonpil stiffened in his place, before leaning in even further, his features alert. 

After a few seconds you enquired mimicking the quiet, “What is it?”

“I think I just heard someone tell Sungjin that he ‘needed to remain strong’,” Wonpil looked at you quizzically, “what does that mean?”

“Sungjin’s in on it too?” You were hugely surprised by that, so much so that you couldn’t hide it in your voice, the volume tipping out of the realms of a murmur. You’d thought it was a certainty that Sungjin was not aware of what was going on, because he was too mature to play along. But you’d clearly gotten him wrong this time around.  “Th-that must mean this is serious,” you continued, slipping into a slow pacing motion across to the window and back, “that it’s super funny, or that he goes to seriously gain something from this.”

“But how is this funny, I’m not laughing...!” Wonpil said with a pout audible on his lips. He wondered if there was a funnier side that he was missing out on due to his concern for you overpowering it. He didn’t like how you stepped back and forth, even if it was only slow and steady and hardly impulsive. He didn’t want you to be stressed, he wanted you to be happy.  It dawned on him that it was becoming increasingly harder for him to hold himself back from meeting you part-way and bring you to a stop, his hands brushing your shoulders and squeezing them gently in reassurance as he met your eyes— He shook his head, sending him hurtling out of his imagination just in time to hear you agree.

“Exactly, unless he wrote some of the riddles and his sense of humour was not what I thought it was—what we thought it was.”

“But Sungjin would never use stuff this bad!” he cried, hand motioning to the poorly executed diagrams while his eyes trailed away from you and onto the tomato on the wall. “He would be much more careful than... that—I don’t think he ever could make something that ugly!”

“Exactly!” you echoed his tone of urgency. “Which means he stands to gain! But what the hell does he get out of locking two people in a room with a bunch of evil puzzles?”

Watching your form become gradually tenser by the second, Wonpil’s resolve against his desires loosened before unravelling entirely.

He strode unusually powerfully across the floor, his body blocking you and your pacing in your tracks. His proximity startled you, but as his hands came to gently held your shoulders you realised how tense your body had accidentally become.  Taking a deep breath as best you could with the biggest crush you’d ever had standing right in front of you, you slowly began to calm down. It was just a stupid prank, there was really no reason to get worked up to that extent, or anywhere near it. 

Your thoughts drifted from the circumstances you were currently trapped in however, supplanted by the feel of Wonpil’s touch, and the way his eyes met yours. His eyes were so pretty you felt yourself sink head over heels in them whenever you accidentally made contact. And the emotion that filled them to the brim at that moment and let them glimmer even more than normal in the radiant sunlight caught you even further off guard. You’d seen it a lot, even in large doses, and how it made him look even softer, even more adorable, made you almost spill words from between your lips. However like this, you could barely handle it. 

“Sorry,” you said, willing your voice to remain stable unlike your heartbeat.

“No, don’t be sorry! We’ll get...” It felt like he didn’t want to end his sentence but forced himself to. “So, they’re all in on this?”

His hands fell away from you, just as you looked away from him, unable to catch your breath otherwise. As it turned out it was a lucky move at the right moment. “Yeah, it seems so. N-now why? That’s the question. I don’t know, but what I do know is—”

Having pulled away, you’d begun to walk back to the door, thinking up the words to perhaps call out and talk them into freeing the two of you. Though as you did, your peripheral caught the odd transformation your closet door had done.

After performing a ridiculously overplayed doubletake that would have appeared to any onlookers out of context as fake, you noticed that there was a nearly full-sized image of a deep chestnut archway with the poor illusion (due to the angle) of a small opening inside. Drawing nearer you were able to make out a speckled grate suspended in the right wall of the wooden box.

What the image printed over three sheets of paper was sprung to your head immediately, much alike the jigsaw pieces jumbled in your head slotted together. 

It was a confession chamber. 

You had to confess, but not to a priest.  To Wonpil.

“God works in mysterious ways...” you remembered from the previous day, uttering the words as you replayed them in your mind. “Jae, you shit.”

Wonpil came to your side, peering round to take in your features, searching for an explanation in the sheer beauty he always found there. “What’s wrong?”

“I know how to open the door!” you announced proudly, the sense of victory washing away as you came face to face with what you had to do however. 

Wonpil’s characteristic sunny smile rose to his cheeks, all while you sat there barely able to stomach your anxiety. “Yay! What do we have to do?”

You didn’t know how to go about it. You didn’t know whether to tell him, to ramble, to keep it simple, or to just kiss him like you wanted to for however long it had been. “Confess,” was all that tumbled from your mouth, and you immediately regretted speaking at all.

The subject of your affections stood as silently as you did before him. You could see the rush of thoughts in his head, his cheeks flushing as he finally spoke up, “Confess our... sins?”

“Not sins, no...”

It was at that moment you realised your feelings were mutual. He wouldn’t look you in the eye like he always did, he was skipping over the obvious conclusion,and he wasn’t drastically denying a single thing. He didn’t run, nor hide, in fact he leant towards you. It was only a fraction of an angle, but with a small bite of his lip the air fled your lungs.

“Do you...” you breathed, taking a tiniest step towards him—you’d been so close already, but now he was practically against you, just not quite—as your fingers twitched at your sides, “do you want me to do it?”

His nod was strong compared to his voice which was so delicate, as if he couldn’t believe what was unfurling before him. “Please!” 

With his encouragement you let those ready fingers ease up to the edge of his jaw, gracing the fine stubble there as you sank you palms against his cheeks and held your dreams in your hands. “Wonpil, I’ve liked you for so long... I fell for you, more than anyone I’ve ever met before. I’m sorry I didn’t tell you sooner.”

“Don’t say sorry, I didn’t tell you either,” he reminded with a chuckle, his dark eyes bright and shining and wide at you coming ever closer, “and not being near you makes my heart ache so please, just kiss me and make it stop forever.”

You didn’t have to be asked twice.

His hands barely had enough time to snake around your neck as you bridged the gap and let your lips meet at last. And it was like the whole world sighed in relief. 

His lips were so warm, the softness etched with all his thoughts and his moments of anxiety and sadness. You wanted to kiss them all away, so that the only ones remained were the ones out of happiness, out of his smiles and playfulness. 

It had been so long since you’d began dreaming of this moment, and now it was at last happening you never wanted it to end. But it had to end, and though you felt more than ready to deepen it, there was a click from the door behind you. 

Springing away from each other in surprise, you immediately both looked over to the origin of the sound, your hands meeting in place of your lips.

“It worked?” Wonpil asked the air more so than you, his free fingers extending to the handle tentatively. 

You drew to him, letting go of his hand to place your own on his shoulders a you peered over them. “I think it did!”

Taking a quick glance at you, he twisted the brass and pulled gently, his jaw dropping as a gap formed.

You were free. Though a small part of you was disappointed, probably completely interested in staying in close proximity to your crush without disturbances for as long as possible.

Except he was no longer your crush! Your heart lurched as the awareness dawned on you. Completely disregarding the situation, you mumbled so only he could hear, “Does this mean you’re my boyfriend?”

Wonpil turned his attention back to you, giggling as he stroked your hair. “Of course dummy. Did I not convince you?” He squished your cheek. “We can do it again if it’ll help!”

You had to laugh, wanting to roll with his suggestion entirely, though seeing a shadow approach through the gap in the doorway you had to turn the offer down for now. “Real soon I promise!” After noting his pout that very nearly overwrote your decision in one fell swoop, you continued, “Not when the person who organised this is right outside.”

Your boyfriend threw his head over his shoulder to see a head duck out of sight. You watched as his eyes swept the room before falling intently on the bed—more specifically, the pillows. “Do you want revenge?”

Catching onto his idea and grinning at how childish and petty it would be—in context that the plan had actually worked—you didn’t hesitate, wanting to get a piece of that ‘divine intervention’ that had thrown your morning into disarray when he could have at least warned you.  Besides, it wasn’t like you could turn down a man so precious twice. It would be akin to heresy.

Grabbing both pillows you handed one to Wonpil and came to a halt by the ajar door. “Remember, play dirty when it comes to Jae. He deserves it.”

Sporting his characteristic sunny smile, your boyfriend let out what you had to discern was a cackle as he slipped through the door and led the charge. “You don’t have to tell me.”

A thwack resounded through the dorms from just outside your door and you had to stifle a laugh at the scream that followed.

Perhaps Wonpil didn’t need your help as you had admittedly first expected. 

But where was the fun in that.  

“I’m telling you we could’ve put the movie on the side of her wardrobe!” 

“And I’m telling you it wouldn’t have fit!”

“...You’re never lifting me again.”

You gathered your breath after your surprise revenge assault, sending Dowoon and Sungjin an incredulous look as you passed. Clearly not all your deductions had been correct. Oh well, things had still played out correctly, and catching sight of Younghyun bringing your boyfriend into a side hug as he gushed about how you managed to save them both—clearly playing up the drama but hey, who were you to stop him, you had no qualms with being a knight in shining armour—made a proud blush rise to your cheeks.

Coming further into the living room, you intercepted Jae who had returned from your room after clearing everything up all by himself as you’d ordered.

“I still have no idea why you made me do all that!” he protested as soon as he caught your eye. “This had nothing to do with me! It was, hundred percent, Dowoon. Just Dowoon. He got sick and tired of your pining and...”

You folded your arms, expression proving just how much you didn’t believe his bullshit. 

“You don’t believe me!” he exclaimed, hands flapping. “What have I done to deserve this! Am I not a good friend? Loyal? Like a brother—”

You sighed, shaking your head as you walked over to him, before slipping your arms quickly around his chest. He was startled by the sudden display of affection, but hugged you back nevertheless. “Of course I don’t,” you chuckled, “but we wouldn’t be friends if I did.”

He scoffed at your words, but tightened his arms around you with a smile. He couldn’t have felt prouder in that moment, especially with Younghyun being dragged by Wonpil out of the room [to head out and fetch groceries?] who was delightedly babbling about how soft his best friend felt to cuddle with for real this time. Sungjin meanwhile rolled his eyes at the exchange, padding away and back to the kitchen. 

“Ok this means I can ask what made you work it out.”

You sputtered, though immediately gave in. “The confession chamber on the closet.”

“Ahh that was a good one,” he sighed happily, only to change tact soon after as the realisation sunk in, “wait that wasn’t even mine!” You laughed against him, you head tipping back as he searched the room for the true culprit. “Dowoon was that yours?”

You didn’t hear an answer, though hearing the curse that fell from Jae’s mouth offered enough indication to know that the response was in some shape or form affirmative. 

Laughter bubbling away into the air, you slowly pulled yourself away from the friend that had practically become an older brother to you. He let you go smoothly, but before you parted from him fully, you stood on your toes and whispered, “Thank you,” a smile on your face that was almost as bright as the ones Wonpil always received.

He sent you a grin, followed by a wink, as you followed after your new boyfriend. Leaning so he could see round the corner, he laughed quietly at how you subtly shoved the other man out of the way so you could take Wonpil’s side. 

His heart swelled as your hands naturally found each other’s, linking as if you’d been together for years. It came with a side of a dull ache, as that was what he wanted for himself too.

He wasn’t dismayed for long however. You now owed him after all, and you were well aware of it.

He couldn’t wait to see what you’d come up with.

EXO ❤️ EXO-L

I will share something about myself of how did I become an EXO-L since today is the 6th year of EXO-Ls being with EXO.

2014 is the year that I’ve known EXO. I just heard it from my EXO-L classmate. I think she started to stan EXO since 2013 or 2012 and her bias is Chanyeol. She shares that with me because we’re close friends back in the middle school. I’m not that interested in kpop back then but I listen to some kpop songs that are popular here in my country (Philippines) when I was in 2nd-3rd grade. Those are Fire by 2ne1, I am The Best by 2ne1, Hot Issue by 4minute, I Got A Boy by SNSD, and PSY’s songs like Gangnam Style and Gentleman.

She continued to introduce EXO to me through out all the middle school years. Then one day, on 5th grade, she borrowed a bluetooth speaker from our classmate which is also our friend and one of her best friend and she played Growl by EXO. In the beginning of the song it already caught my attention because it was catchy although I don’t even understand the language. So I’ve searched it on YouTube to listen to it again. When I tell her that I did that, she also recommended me to listen to their (EXO) song called Call Me Maybe. I also love it because it sounded sweet and lovely.

Also on 5th grade my cousin moved to our house temporarily and she studied in a school that is not so far in our home where me, my brother and my best friend/childhood friend (until now) studied before. I got close to this cousin of mine. We always talked about different things and some girls stuff. Then one day she showed me something on her phone. It was a photo of 12 different guys. I asked her who are they and she said it was EXO. I think it was Growl era back then.

Then she pointed out that her bias is Baekhyun. She showed me the picture of Baekhyun because I’m still recognizing them.

After she showed me a lot of pictures of EXO, one of them caught my attention. It was Kris! Because while scanning with their pictures I thought that Kris is the most handsome of them all. So she sent me some of Kris’ pictures.

The funny thing is that I forgot to tell this to my EXO-L friend haha. But when talked me again about EXO I told her that I knew some of them and she is happy of course. She encouraged me to stan them but One Direction owns my heart back then and Taylor Swift also so I’m struggling to put another group or singer in my heart haha.

Then summer of 2019 (month of April) EXO managed to creep into my heart. Finally after all these years haha. I just searched their MVs on YouTube and then I’ve watched their web drama called EXO Next Door. I liked Chanyeol while watching the web drama so I was thinking that he will be my bias in EXO. But then Suho appeared and it change my mind and heart all of the sudden.

Even I’ve finished watching the drama I’ve kept thinking about Suho and he even appeared in my dreams and he will be the first person that I will think of. It was crazy but it was fun. So I’ve started watching EXO’s MVs and other variety shows and it made me become an EXO-L. When I’ve watched the Ko Ko Bop MV, I’ve screamed silently when I saw Suho there with curly hair and slayin’ with his looks. It was even rare for me to pick the vocalist to be my bias because almost all my bias are rappers.

Then I told this to my middle school EXO-L friend and to my closest cousin (it was a different cousin which I’ve mention before) which happens to be a kpop fan (she stans EXO, SEVENTEEN, Day6, Stray Kids, GFriend, etc.) too and they are all happy and welcomed me to the fandom. But EXO is not the only group that I’m stanning right now because there is iKON, WINNER and AKMU.

After I’ve decided that Suho is bias in EXO, I also watched some of Kyungsoo’s dramas and movies and all that I can say he’s acting skill are execellent. Same as his vocals. He is “small but terrible” kind of guy.

Then EXO-SC is my bias wreckers. Chanyeol has a special place in my heart. Kai sometimes attempts me to swerve on him especially when he is performing on stage because his dancing skills are excellent too. I can’t even believe that he learned to do ballet in his pre-debut years.

Chen’s voice always puts me to sleep. He is cute too so don’t put hate on him please just because he just had a baby and a wife (I would like to called it his wife). Because he is a human too and he deserves to be happy and to have a family. I wish that he appears on The Return of Superman because that would be super great!

I love Xiumin’s cleaning skills because he reminds me of my Mama’s (my mom) cleaning skills haha. He can also sing and rap especially on EXO-CBX. I find him cute too that I want him to snatch and put him on my pocket.

I also love Lay’s witty side and sometimes I feel bad that I’m laughing when he is kinda lost or something but it was so cute and I can’t help but to laugh. But he’s dancing skills are on point too. I hope that I can see him again with EXO so that ot9 will be complete again.

Baekhyun is so cute too and I want to pinch his cheeks. He is so adorable. And from what I’ve observed on him, his vocals improved a lot and it was amazing.

Sehun is a giant baby but he is also on my ideal type of guy haha. I also love seeing him with Vivi.

It was also sad about the Chinese members (Tao, Luhan, and Kris) to part ways with EXO but I respect their decisions. Also it made me tear up when I saw their reunion on a survival show on China which is Produce Camp 2020. I hope that they can also be reunited with the others.

So I might be late to stan EXO but it’s better to be late than never right?

this is abt hanbin and ikon so keep scrolling

so i was high a few days ago nd watched a video about hanbin and yun and realized that yun took such good care of hanbin. he always played the ‘hyung’ card on him, teasing him and saying that he loves hanbin all the time, said his ‘mission’ was to make hanbin happy. and that got me thinking that yun must’ve helped -both emotionally and physically- hanbin throughout the years… like,,, hanbin rarely acts childish around the members since he is the leader/songwriter/composer but he does it w yunhyeong bc yun doesn’t mind it.. yun always cooks for him knowing that he was up until late in the studio, avoids waking binie early (but does if he has to), and the other members said this a bunch of times but yun is a great listener so can you imagine the amount of times he listened to hanbin’s concerns and self doubts and never complained abt it cuz he’s yunhyeong lol but those thoughts made me so sad thinking how hard it must’ve been for hanbin these past 11 months without his brothers.

tbh i don’t care if hanbin decides to live his life quietly or just producing songs for himself/his friends. i don’t care if he comes out with a full comeback, mv, etc. i rlly don’t care. the only thing i genuinely care about is if he’s happy doing whatever he is doing, and he seems to be happy these past days, so that’s enough for now. i think i’m past that point of wondering what on earth he is doing, if he’s producing more songs, creating a label, etc, but if i could ask for just one little thing, it would be to show him how much his fans love him; to show him every tweet i see with “i miss hanbin”, “hanbin pics to brighten your day!” or “hanbin compilation” posts. to show him the heartbreaking and incredible edits and posts i’ve seen about him, and how much he is loved. i know that in demo 3 he said “i know i was loved”, but i want to tell him he is loved, still. ikon is loved. ikonics never gave up on them. god, not even one ONE!! hanbin fansite closed, and it has been almost a year. think of kpop idols who lost fansites for even less than that (not that i like fansites that much but the symbolism is there). i’m so grateful that he knows how much we think about him, but every time i feel like it’s not enough. i want him to know that we’ll always be here and he’ll always be in our hearts too. i wish hanbin could see himself thru my eyes and know how kind, talented, heartwarming he is.

sometimes i ask myself if i’m not being too ‘blinded by love’ when it comes to ikon (but especially about hanbin), but then again, what is it about ikon that makes me appreciate them so much? what makes me feel this empathy for them? what is it that when i think of them, i don’t see a boygroup. i see friends who are a ‘chosen family’, who know each other so well and would never give up on their brotherhood. never. how they are totally different people, but learned what being respected and appreciated feels like, and saw how much they could grow if they listened to one another. i’m not saying that they never fought (if anything i’d put my finger on donghyuk cuz hes a capricorn living with an aries ARIES and a capricorn sag dom.. i mean…. i’d throw hands if i were him), but they learned that hierarchy in the group wouldn’t lead them anywhere. in that iheart radio interview where the lady said ‘what is ur secret to have such great teamwork/chemistry’ and they said they don’t rlly have hierarchy and (to me) this is so important for a group like ikon. 

imagine if they never took anything chanwoo says seriously just because he’s the maknae even tho he is one of the most logical members? or what would happen if hanbin had to always act like the leader when he said yunhyeong would be best fitted for that? if bobby got mad at donghyuk for playing with him just because he’s younger and they never developed that friendship? at times like this i thank ikon for being such a down to earth group. they never took anything for granted. they were humble from the beginning and kept being humble, even when they received (a lot) of  awards. in the mma speech, hanbin said ikon was a group who tried to fill an ocean into a teacup, but that only made water spill everywhere, and i think that’s true. ikon was ambitious and had such a big desire to win that it led to so many heartbreaks and tough paths for them. 

i realized once i started (fully) stanning ikon that they make you feel this immensive empathy towards them to the point where i got choked up with tears learning about their hardships. i’m not trying to say that they’re the only group who went/goes thru this; in fact, i don’t believe anyone should be put to what they had to endure predebut until now. the countless times i cried watching videos of them sleeping on the floor on tour, watching interviews/vlives where they said they want to show us what they’ve been working on, watching concerts where they broke down in tears because ‘they just wanted to see us’. it breaks me because ikon are such good boys but they aren’t even allowed to show that.

in that concert where bobby said “please protect us” and hanbin said “please protect me”... that’s what i’m talking about. ikon was always true to us. the concert was in early 2019, so imagine what they’ve gone through in 2013-2015, when they were trainees. god i can’t even wrap my head around to think how much these boys (who at the time were 16-20) suffered in their early days. being called ‘b-list’ idols because they weren’t as good as the other yg groups. having to tour for a year doing two concerts a day sometimes, while preparing for comebacks/recordings. having to use oxygen masks to perform bc they were too tired. but they always put the biggest performances because they know that moment was once in a lifetime for us. 

when ikon won soty in 2019 it was clear to me how much they appreciate what we’ve done for them and how personal the fan/idol relationship is with them. i don’t mean it as in some delulu shit but... ikon knows that we trust them. they know we will always be loyal to them, and that’s why they treasure their fans the most. only ikon knows what they went thru since 2013, but some fans who have been with them ever since are proof that the bond has always been strong. for fuck’s sake even the fan chart for most of the songs “we will protect you ikon / we will care for you ikon / we will shine on you ikon / let’s be happy ikon”. i don’t wanna sound fake deep but ikonics reflect ikon in so many different ways. ikon is loyal, they are caring,  they never gave up on what they dreamed of, even if it seemed unreal. they know what’s like to see the ones you love fall and try to get them back up again. ikon lived so many failures and were SO critical about themselves for not debuting in 2013, trying to debut again in 2015 but not doing so well in charts, not being able to be free. they just wanted to sing. to be with each other. and yet they kept meeting obstacles along their way, but even so they never gave up. and i think that’s kinda what being an ikon fan is about too.

so, as for now, no one is sure about ikon’s path in the future but i can say that even though things might get tough a few months from now, ikon will always be that group for me.

“Lonely Night” - KNK 

I was anticipating KNK’s return. I was very curious as to what they would do after leaving their company and having Youjin leave and Dongwon join. But they did not disappoint at all. Dongwon proved himself very much and it’s one of my favs this year. 

“I’m OK” - iKon

I was so ready for this song. I love it so much. I was so ready for this song I was at school ready for it. iKon have never disappointed me with a song and this one is no exception. I adore it and listening to it makes me miss B.I. 

“Say My Name” & “Hala Hala” - Ateez

Ateez was always on my radar. But these songs really made me notice them you know. I still bop to them both daily and like this is peak Kpop to me. This is the standard I expect from groups. Ateez really is out here to kill

“Rooftop” - N.flying

This song might be favorite this year. I’m not the biggest N.Flying stan (Really getting into them tho) and I love this song. This song might be my number 1 this year. I love it so much.

Taemin is a god. That’s all I really have to say. Like Taemin really is on another level. This whole album is a blessing. 

“Enough” - SF9 

SF9 are a group to look out for in my opinion. They really have their own sound and I can appreciate that. I have all of their albums in my playlist. I listen to this one frequently.

“Tuxedo” - Ravi

If you want to be happy. Listen to this song. It just puts a smile on my face. I genuinely like all of Ravi’s albums and think he is really promising as a musician. 

“Thrilla Killa” - VAV

Still kinda sad Jacob isn’t in this one because wow. But VAV are underrated kings of the year. Thrilla Killa is such a fun song. I really have been enjoying VAV’s releases. 

“Miroh”- Stray Kids 

I will be jamming to Miroh until the day i die. I will be doing the Haka part of the choreo to this dance, until the day I die. 

“Vibe” - 1Team

This might possibly one of my favorite debuts of all time. The song is so chill and mature yet still fun and I feel like you got to hear every member’s strengths and I adore it to bits and pieces.

“Doves” - Gree

I really fell in love with this song after stumbling on it accidentally. The song is really different and I really really like it. 

“Tu Eres” - Newkidd

It makes me so happy to see Hansol find his place somewhere. After he left SM and the SMrookies, he joined The Unit and I was just kind of like when is he going to find his place, is he going to go solo? I’m just happy he found his place. All around this is a solid debut. 

“Bloom Bloom” - The Boyz

I have had a hard time getting into the The Boyz, I still don’t know any names or anything but this is the first song that really peaked my interest. I really love songs like this. It’s so fun and fresh to listen to and it puts me in a good mood. 

“Bet Bet” - Nu’est

Nu’est is really coming for me. I love every release they have brought out over the years. They are just so good. Baekho’s vocals are god tier and I adore this song. The album is amazing as well.

“Ah Yeah” - Winner

Winner have been so refreshing and just lovely lately. Their recent comebacks have really made me adore them even more. “Ah Yeah” is a song I have been listening to a lot lately and it just makes me really happy. 

“Undercover” - A.C.E

We all know how I feel about A.C.E. This song is in my top 10 this year, maybe even top 5. A.C.E have so much talent and the video and the styling are amazing. But like the rap is God tier. 

“Highway to Heaven” - NCT 127

I chose this song over “Superhuman” because it’s superior to me. Highway to Heaven makes me feel like a college student, going on a spring break roadtrip with my friends. Also in my top 10 this year. 

“Twilight” - Oneus

I didn’t put their debut in this, even though it was amazing because Twilight is superior. I love this concept, this song and these boys. Oneus are proving themselves to be monster rookies and I am here for it. “Now” is a really good b-side.

“Wave” & “Illusion” - Ateez

It’s not surprise that Ateez makes the list again. This album was the one I bopped too all summer and I will never not “HAKUNA MATATA YAAAA” 

“RPM” - SF9

I LOVE SF9. Look RPM is superior in everyway and form. The choreo, the styling, the song, the mv, JUST EVERYTHING. I was so shook when this song came out omg. 

“Side Effects” - Stray Kids

Boy my head hurts. I love Stray Kids, I love their songs. This song totally caught me off guard and as much as I prefer it when Stray Kids isn’t as angry, this song is amazing and no one can change my mind. 

“Questions” - Zelo

I missed my baby. It’s nice to hear his voice again. I love this track it’s really nice and summery. Looking forward to more things by my baby.

“Rolling Rolling” - 1team 

1Team are rookies I didn’t know what to expect from. But their songs are so chill omg. I love every single one of them and like I just feel hanging out at the beach when i listen to them. 

“Time of our life” - Day6

Day6. I love this song. They had so much fun with it and it’s just so good omg. Day6 for the win. K-Bands for the win. 

“Sunset” - KNK

Oh lord. KNK came for my throat. I want more KNK in 2020 because I need it. This song reminds me of a fashion show. 

“Give me more (ft. De La Ghetto, Play n Skillz)” - VAV

Fun summer songs always win for me. Also VAV always win for me. I really like the dance and just the vibe of the song. It is kinda generic but I still really like it and listen to it alot. 

“Boom” NCT Dream

Boy these boys have grown up so much. It warms my heart and makes me sad at the same time. I still listen to this daily. 

“Face” - Woosung/Sammy 

I love this song so much. It’s so refreshing and nice to listen to. Sammy’s voice is like butter.

“Come back home” - Target

This song surprised me. I generally don’t go into groups I don’t know with high hopes, but I really like this song and the choreography. 

“Final Kiss” - IZ

This is a band I have been getting into too. Final Kiss is a great way to end the summer and it’s a really nice refreshing and fun. The drummer really caught my eye, because he’s hella cute and the main vocalist is so talented. 

September

“Hit” and “Fear” - Seventeen 

Fear made me nearly crap myself at the beginning of the song. It caught me so off guard but in the best way. Hit is just such a fun song and a hype song. I yell along to it in the shower almost every time. 

“Lit” - Oneus

I LOVE THIS SONG SO MUCH. How they made such a fun song that I willbe listening to 10 years later is besides me. Oneus really out proving themselves. Another one for in my top 10. 

“Human” and “Daredevil” - Zico

I have mentioned in the past how much I love Zico and his music and this was the return I wanted. The Thinking album is just amazing. Zico manages to put every emotion there is into an album.

“Jopping” - SuperM

I will be jopping to the end of time. Look a lot of people hate the thought of SuperM and stuff. But like, to me SuperM is just alot of amazing in one group and the songs are really cool. So yeah and they created their own verb. 

“Why” - ONF

This song really put ONF on the map for me. It’s so different and nice. I love it. The mv is also incredibly and the vocals are too. 

“Wonderland” - Ateez

Again, no surprise. This song is still on repeat for me. I love it, I want to tattoo it on my forehead. i want Yunho to “Kajaaaa” all over me. I love it, love it, love it. Can’t wait to see them live in 2020. Also in my top 10 this year. 

“Good Bam” - N.Flying

A chill feel good song that I adore. Me and my friend talk alot on voice chat on discord and at the end of the night we say ‘Good Bam’ because of this song. It’s just so fun. 

“Runaway” - TXT 

I am not the biggest TXT stan, I like some songs and that’s about it but, Run away is an amazing song. The mv is lovely, the song is great and I really like the choreography. 

“Poison” - VAV

VAV came for my throat and they didn’t have to. Also in my top 10 this year. 

“Sweet Chaos” - Day6

I listen to this and i want to scream along. We got a lot this comeback, Young K’s forehead, a full album and all of Day6 in suits. Another one for in my top 10. 

“So So” - Winner

SoSo came out after I broke up with my boyfriend and let me tell you, perfect timing. This mv is one of the best I have seen ever and the song is amazing. Winner really stepped up their game this year. Another top 10. 

“Follow” - Monsta X

This will be a Monsta X era I will cherish forever. Enough said. 

“Savage” - A.C.E

We all know my A.C.E tangent I went on and I will not apologize. Another one for the top 10. No one does it like A.C.E. MORE A.C.E IN 2020. Also Wow’s rap in this song needs to be 10 verses longer, for my health.

“Calling my name” - GOT7

Got7′s best title track yet? IDK but to me it is. I also love all the b-sides and I feel like everyone got to show off their strengths. 

“Make this” - 1Team

The beat drop in this song is something I haven’t quite heard before. I really like it and the video reminds of like a 90′s video game which is pretty cool. 1Team really are my favorite group out of boygroups who debuted this year. 

“Balloon” - Zico

Zico man, I love this video and song so much. It encapsulates alot of my own emotions and it’s beautiful. 

“Blue Flame” - Astro

This song had me so shook. I have really been getting into Astro and this is my first comeback with them and I am not at all disappointed. Astro man...

“Fuego” - U Kwon

I love this song so much. I want people to cover dance it, the choreography is so fun and I’d do it myself but I can’t dance. I love the song and it was like the last thing I expected in December and it is in my top 10. 

“Levanter” Stray Kids

a bittersweet comeback. But still beautiful, I’m proud of how far they have come and Stray Kids have never disappointed me. The choreo is lovely and Seungmin’s vocals are beautiful.

ATEEZ were sat around the table for a meeting and after reading through the comments from the experts they renewed their resolve to do well for the rest of the competition. They took first place for experts’ and group evaluation for Round 1 and so they were given the priviledge of choosing who they will exchange and reinterpret songs with for the theme Reborn, of which they chose iKON.

“They have many hip songs and the public knows their songs well.” Wooyoung answered when asked why they chose iKON among all the other groups

“I also think they have a lot of songs that can show our energy well.” Yunho added on to Wooyoung’s answer

(SF9’s stage)

“I wonder what song SF9-sunbaenim chose among THE BOYZ discography.” Minyoung wondered out loud

“What was it? You know the song you used to sing a lot?” Hongjoong asked looking at her

“Which one? I sang a lot of songs..” Minyoung tilted her head

“That one that goes like..” Hongjoong hummed the song as he remembers it

“Ah! That’s the chorus of <D.D.D>. But if SF9-sunbaenim chooses that song, is it..” Minyoung trailed off realizing that her next words could be misinterpreted, covering her mouth.

“Won’t they go for <Reveal>? I think that’s also a famous song?” Yeosang suggested

“Personally I think <Ego> or <Breaking Dawn> is closer to the style of SF9. Ah but <Breaking Dawn> is from a Japanese album so I guess not.” Minyoung confessed as she thought of all the possible songs

“But the theme this round is to reinterpret it into their style so it doesn’t really matter which song they choose if they could change into their teams color.” Seonghwa piped in making the others nod. “That’s true.”

As soon as SF9 started their performance, Minyoung was already intrigued as the group is already in focus. “Are they going to fight? Omo.” She said as she held unto Jongho’s arm who was seated to her right with Yeosang to her left.

Minyoung let out a surprised gasp when Dawon fired a shot and an excited squeal when Rowoon was shown on the screen as he sang the opening of <The Stealer> “It’s Rowoon-sunbaenim!” Jongho who is seating beside her surprised patting her thigh. “Young-ah try not to get too excited.” to which Minyoung nodded mumbling an apology as she placed a hand over her mouth

“Omo!” Minyoung flinched a bit as Rowoon broke the glass before looking at Hongjoong “Oppa, you need to do it cooly too. I believe in you.” The latter just chuckling returning his focus on the performance. It hasn’t been long before they hear another surprised gasp from the girl when Jaeyoon sang his part, showing off his toned body. “Omo! His body..” Seonghwa immediately looking over to Minyoung and calling out to Yeosang “Yeosang-ah, quick cover Minyoung’s eyes.” The latter laughing, shaking his head.  Minyoung suddenly remembering that their reactions are getting filmed right now blushed lowering her head shyly which only furthered Seonghwa’s concern. The rest of the members laughed at the two, already used to the scenario.

“Oh this is really good.” Minyoung nodded her head along the music as the group dance started for the first chorus.

“What is good? Jaeyoon-sunbaenim’s body?” Wooyoung teased her as she pressed her lips in a thin line to stop herself from firing back a remark to avoid a situation where she’ll only dig herself into a hole

Hongjoong and Minyoung clapped excitedly when Zuho’s part came as it was totally like an action scene in a movie. Minyoung immediately closed her mouth that dropped when the part started. “This is so cool. His voice also sounds so cool. It just fits.”

“Kang Chanhee! Oh no. Omo. Don’t tell me..” Minyoung felt herself be thrown into a rollercoaster of emotions in the short amount of time during Chani’s part up to when he got held at gun point until Inseong shot the guy. “Omo! Inseong-oppa, you saved our Chanhee.” Yeosang although engrossed in the performance, couldn’t help but be amused at Minyoung’s reactions.

As the dance break came, Minyoung smiled as she cheered on her friend then had her jaw drop when Taeyang shot at the crane holding the briefcase. “This is totally a movie. SF9-sunbaenim really showed their acting skills as well.”

“Oh!” Jongho pointed at the screen with Minyoung nodding repeatedly “They’re burning the person. Omo.”

“All of them really have long legs. It’s amazing.” Yunho commented as the group danced for the last chorus

“Ah. Was it the crown in the safe?” San asked as the camera focused on the crown when the performance ended

“I think so.” Hongjoong nodded

“They’re all so good-looking.” San commented shaking his head a bit chuckling

“Okay. Everyone this is how Minyoung falls-in-love. You saw the process in the whole 4 minute performance.” Wooyoung laughed as the girl glared at him

“She unconsciously let out her fangirl mode from the first stage.” San said in between his laugh with Minyoung covering her face knowing the two would never let her live this moment down.

“I was seating next to her but it feels like she’s filming a whole other video. A reaction video or something.” Yeosang chuckled patting the girl’s back when she looked at him with a betrayed expression as she mumbled “Of all the people, I thought I could trust you Yeosang-oppa.”

“Let’s go!” Wooyoung shouted as the familiar sound for Kingdom played for THE BOYZ. Hongjoong clapped anticipating another picturesque performance from the team.

“Judging by the stage, I don’t think they’ll be performing the brighter songs of SF9.” Yunho noted as he leaned in to focus on the performance.

“What is this? They used water last round, now they’re opening with fire. Will they use Wind or Earth next?” Minyoung wondered as the stage opens with the screen playing a scene.

“It’s a cage! Cage.” Hongjoong said making Minyoung gasp as she pointed at the screen “There’s someone inside!”

“Juyeon-sunbaenim!” Minyoung exclaimed as he danced inside the cage. “He knows a lot of dances.” Yunho also nodding in agreement already absorbed even when they haven’t even started the song.

“Omo! It’s <O Sole Mio>! Is that why they’re doing Tango?” Minyoung lightly hit Jongho’s arm in her excitement. “Young-ah.” Jongho chuckled as the girl covered her mouth to contain herself.

“Oooh. There it is. Knife-like dance. I feel like it won’t be called a THE BOYZ stage if there weren’t knife-like choreography. I really want to try that at least once.” Minyoung mumbled her mouth open in awe of how the whole group could move as one.

Hongjoong nodded “The perfect choreography. The best.” shaking his head a bit. San smiled “They’re great.”

“It’s Sunwoo!” Minyoung pointed at the screen almost pushing her chair back if not for Yeosang who held it in place.

“I swear Minyoung cheers the best when she’s watching someone else.” San laughed a bit before returning his attention to the performance

“How could I cheer for you if we’re on the same stage? I also cheer like this whenever you have your special stages.” Minyoung pouted

When the scene with Hyunjae on top of the platform came, Minyoung unconciously gaped at the scene “Are they doing it on the second floor? That unnie is so brave.”

“It’s on fire. It’s on fire. It’s on fire.” Minyoung sat up straight pointing at the screen when Sangyeon’s part came with the torch.

“So passionate.” Yunho commented when the room with the mirror was used for the added effect of dancers

“Just when I thought they were going to end, they have another explosive section coming up. Wah.” Minyoung laughed in admiration as Juyeon danced and the female dancer rode the rope up the cage. “Is that the same unnie? She’s really brave.”

“What are you saying? You also do stunts like that for our choreography.” Jongho laughed poking Minyoung’s side

“That’s different. I just jump while she hangs on by a rope or with only one leg!” Minyoung defended herself, poking Jongho back. “It’s scary.”

“Eric! Let’s get it.” Minyoung cheered as Eric came unto the screen, smiling brightly doing a 180 on her facial expression.

“Wow! Perfect choreography!” Wooyoung exclaimed as the group danced together again for the last chorus.

“Omo. Is that New-sunbaenim doing the high notes in the back?” Minyoung squinted at the screen trying to see who it was.

“They shot an …. at the sun!” Minyoung gasped standing up from her seat but trailing off as she forgot the word for it.

“An arrow?” Hongjoong chuckled but nodded confirming her thoughts.

“They tore the stage.” San clapped as the performance ended, the others following and praised the performance particularly their knife-like dance.

“I always get this feeling when I watch THE BOYZ stages from Road to Kingdom up to now. They always have this story, you know, like they’re showing us per chapter.” Seonghwa said looking at the members.

“That’s true. They have a clear concept every stage.” Yeosang nodded

“They’re just professionals at this. Just when you thought they’d run out of ideas since they already did a lot on Road to Kingdom, but here they are performing with new concepts. I never imagined <O Sole Mio> to be changed like this.” Minyoung said as she motioned to the monitor.

Jongho nodded adding in “They changed it up but also kept the latin feel? I got that thought when watching their performance.”

(iKON’s stage)

“I’m excited. I’m really looking forward to this.” Minyoung smiled brightly as she sat up in attention. All the members of ATEEZ were looking forward to this stage the most, aside from their own. The very people who inspired them to be an idol were not only performing their song but reinterpreting it to their group’s style.

“Everyone. I saw iKON-sunbaenim going to the bathroom earlier and their outfits were hip hop.” Seonghwa shared with the group with Wooyoung nodding “Yeah. It was totally hiphop.”

“Maybe they chose <THANXX>?” San suggested as the group tried to guess which song iKON would perform

“No. It looked like a blue concept.” Yeosang shook his head remembering that most of their outfits had something blue to it

“That’s right. A blue concept.” Jongho nodded, throwing <THANXX> out the list

“What songs do we have that would go well with the color blue? <Wave>?” Minyoung piped in “I mean that song already screams water and sea.”

“<Answer> too. Even our album cover then was blue.” Yunho suggested.

“Or it could be something entirely unexpected because they would have reinterpreted the song differently.” Hongjoong explained as the others nodded at the thought. “That’s true too.”

When MC Changmin mentioned time and space, all of ATEEZ were excited.

“Is it really..” Yunho gasped in surprise

“<Inception>?” San exclaimed

“Really? Will they be basing it off the movie then?” Minyoung wondered out loud trying to keep herself still in her seat.

“I think it is <Inception> but how will they do it?” Hongjoong said as Wooyoung chimed in “The concept is what I’m curious about.”

“Did they change <Inception> to a hip hop feel like we thought? How?” Minyoung tilted her head looking at Hongjoong as he is more familiar with the music production.

“I also don’t know. They could have completely changed the overall feel of the song like what we did.” Hongjoong answered shrugging a bit

When the song started everyone in the room kept quiet, hyper-focused on how iKON would reinterpret their own song.

“It feels weird.” San exclaimed already anticipating a huge change from what they’re used to.

“It’s just the first few bars but I feel like there’ll be a big twist.” Minyoung piped as she covered her lips making sure she won’t be caught by the cameras with her mouth wide open.

When Donghyuk appeared to move the stage with his hands. Minyoung and Yunho immediately copied the movements “Omo. How are they doing that? The stage is moving. That’s so cool! His voice too.”

“It’s starting. It’s starting. Whenever Junhoe-sunbaenim appears in iKON’s songs there’s always something happening.” Minyoung leaned a bit forward as she tried to focus on the performance.

As soon as the drop happened and the chorus played entirely different from the original song, Minyoung stood up pointing at the screen, excited “See? It’s almost 95% accurate that whenever he appears there’s a twist.” She sat down but tried copying the dance in her seat, nodding along to the music. “This is our song? Is this really our song?”

“Oh!” Hongjoong surprised when Bobby appeared with the camera effects as Minyoung mumbled, “What’s happening? It’s like we’re in a dream.”

“Whenever I see Bobby-sunbaenim perform, I just feel happy. It’s like he’s enjoying the stage so much that his energy just gets transferred to you.” Minyoung confessed as she bounced lightly on her seat during Bobby’s raps. All the members hummed in agreement understanding what she meant.

“It’s going up!” Yunho pointed at the screen when the road folded up

“What’s that?” Jongho gasped while Minyoung excitedly pipes in “The road is folded like that in the movie!”

When the second chorus played both Yunho and Minyoung were copying the moves in their seats dancing along. “Dorara paengi~” Minyoung sang along a bit.

“That’s my part!” Seonghwa smiled giddy that his part played and Minyoung gasped when her part also came on clapping a bit “They also did mine! Where u at~”

“Is it my part now?” Jongho asked hoping to finally hear his parts as the chorus were both changed for both the first and the second one.

The members exclaimed as an unexpected change in the song replaced the last chorus. “They completely changed it!” Wooyoung clapped in awe as they did a group dance and a booster dance for the ending.

“Yes. It has to be there.” San exclaimed as the ending focused on the top still spinning.

“They have to show us that.” Yunho nodded excitedly as Hongjoong clapped at a loss for words at how iKON reinterpreted that song

“Does this mean we just saw a dream?” Minyoung gasp in realization

“That was really cool.” ATEEZ collectively agreed as the performance ended.

“Don’t you feel a bit weird?” Yunho asked the others laughing a bit

“It feels so strange. What is this?” Jongho nodded knowing what Yunho meant

“When I heard the verse, I thought it had a similar feel to the original song but the chorus was completely..” Wooyoung trailed off as he looked for a word to describe the feeling

Hongjoong piped in making the sound in the song “Yeah. It suddenly changed.”

“It felt like time stopped in that moment.” Wooyoung nodded explaining his thoughts

“This thought came to my mind. I want to show them our performance quickly.” San confessed making the others smile and nod.

“I want to know what they think of our interpretation.” Yeosang chimed in as Minyoung gasped placing a hand on her chest as she felt her heart rate go up“Omo. That’s right. We’re performing next! What do I do? I’m suddenly feeling nervous.”

“Don’t be nervous! We just have to show them what we prepared. I don’t think we have anything we would be ashamed about.” San grinned already raring to go to the stage. This statement pumped up the energy within the group as they waited for their turn to go on stage.

"Are you ready to make that your husband for the rest of your life?" You asked your older sister as you both were sneaking a peek at the grooms men who were goofing off like the children they were.

"He's just playful." She giggled.

"Playful my-"

"Come on girls, it's time." You heard your mother interrupt.

Your sister sighed. "I'm so nervous."

"How come? You've been with that weirdo for 5 years. It's perfect."

"I'm not nervous about that, I'm nervous about going out in front of all those people."

"Who are family." You laughed.

"I know but I'm still nervous."

"It's fine. We'll all be up there with you." You smiled as the rest of the bridesmaids did as well.

"You're a beautiful bride." Your mother chipped in.

"Okay. I'm ready." She said and you all lined up by the door.

The wedding was beautiful and you loved all the happiness it brings. Also seeing family you haven't seen in years always were right there spending this great time all together. You figured nothing could go wrong.

"You can dance with Sungjae." Your mother said as you were about to enter the reception.

"No why?"

"Because he's a groom who needs someone to dance with and you didn't bring a date to the wedding."

"So, I'm taller then him, it's weird." You whined.

"He's 14." Your mother reminded.

"Exactly, why does he need to dance at all."

"Because all the brides and grooms must dance the first dance. And he's your cousin, there's nothing weird about it."

"People will laugh at me." You mumbled but your mother didn't hear.

"Alright they're announcing the names."

As you were dancing with your little cousin, you couldn't help but watch the other bride and grooms. You knew every one who was a bridesmaid, it was made up of your sisters best friends and her new husbands sister but you couldn't help but be curious about the grooms. You didn't know any of them. You figured maybe they were his best friends but you knew he didn't have a brother or maybe they could be cousins also but you had no idea. All you knew was they were all crazy beautiful and you were too beyond single.

"Ow." You quickly got out of your daze as you felt your cousin step on your toes.

"Sorry." He apologized nervously.

"It's fine. Twerp." You smiled.

Once the dance was over you sat down most of the time or got up for an occasional drink.

"Come on (Y/N) dance with me." Your sister dragged you over. "I think I made Yunhyeong sick." She laughed.

"Fine." You let your sister lead trying not to trip over each other's dances.

As the song ended you were laughing out of breath until an announcement was made.

"Alright we need the lovely bride and groom gathered on the dance floor." Everyone stepped aside as a single chair was placed center for your sister to sit. The DJ played some corny romantic music to set the mood.

Yunhyeong got down on one knee and started to move his hands up your sisters dress to find the hidden garter. The crowd was laughing and making gestures as he pulled down the small fabric. He circled it around his finger with a big smile on his face.

"Alright now we need all the single ladies out on the dance floor."

"Nope." As you tried to quickly leave the scene, your sister pulled your arm stopping you.

"Come on (Y/N) you have to join in the bouquet toss." She begged.

"I don't want to." You whined.

"Just stand in the front, no one ever catches them in the front." She continued to beg.

"Alright fine." You stood in the front line of the rest of the dozen of ladies and your sister stood up front, turned around ready to toss.

"Okay we're gonna count to three. Ready? One......two........-" Toss.

As you saw the bouquet in the air you stepped back as it was coming to you coincidentally but you couldn't help but notice that the rest of the girls moved to the side purposely so you were the only one to catch it. "Hey." You yelled as the bouquet landed perfectly at your feet. You grabbed it annoyed as you turned around to the rest of the girls.

"Looks like Miss (Y/N) is our lucky lady." The DJ announced and you couldn't help but notice your sister whispering to Yunhyeong.

"Haejin what the hell?" You yelled over the loud music.

"I didn't." She giggled.

"Alright guys, it's your turn. Get in position."

There was a bunch of guys in position and you couldn't help but feel like a nervous wreck. One of these guys, is going to be reaching their hand up your dress and you weren't okay with that.

"One.....two......three." You didn't even notice where the garter went until the guys spread out. A guy who all the way in the back must of gotten it.

"Alright looks like (Y/N) and Hanbin are our lucky couple."

Why did he have to say it like that? You didn't even know the guy. Once you were forcefully pushed in the center to sit in the chair you noticed the Hanbin guy approaching you shyly. He was actually really cute and didn't seem comfortable with the whole situation either. It made you feel less nervous about him touching you.

You were hoping it wasn't gonna be some douche, cocky, asshole ready to impress all his friends but you were okay with this surprisingly.

You blushed as he got down on one knee, ready to take your leg.

"I'm sorry. I didn't know they planned this." He was blushing as well.

"I'm surprisingly fine with it now." You bit your lip nervously.

"Me too." He said taking the garter and slowly started placing it up your leg until it was time to push your dress up farther. You were a blushing mess as the crowd watched what was happening.

Once it was done you had to hide your face walking back to your table. Even the other bridesmaids were making flirty gestures at you non stop. Once the dinner was over, you got up to head over to the bar for your usual but bumping into a new familiar face.

"Hey." He blushed. "You getting something?" He pointed to the bar.

"Yeah." You smiled.

"Have you tried their screwdriver?" He asked causing you to raise your eyebrows.

"What's that?" You weren't much of a drinker, just stuck to the usual simple daiquiris or what not.

"You'll love it." He laughed as he ordered two of those drinks.

It basically looked like a fancy orange juice. "Do you like it?" He asked.

"Yeah. It's strong." You laughed.

He put down the drink and put his hand out as he got up. "Do you want to dance with me?" He asked as you sipped your drink a last time.

"Okay." You blushed.

He swept you off your feet, surprised he even knew how to dance at all, definitely a step up from your cousin. You haven't had a real dance since your high school prom and by this point it felt so long ago.

You felt so lost in the moment, before you know it the song was over. "Everyone is starring at us." You looked around nervously.

"You want to go somewhere else?" Your stomach fluttered with butterflies as soon as he spoke those few words.

"Um...." You looked around once more as there was eyes all around you. "Yeah."

You both took a stroll to the outside of the building leading to the garden. "So how long have you known Yunhyeong for?"

"We've been friends since we were little." He spoke.

"What did you think of my sister when you first met her?"

He was thinking what to say. "At first I thought she was one of those prissy type of girls who would be controlling but she definitely proved me wrong when she kicked our asses in laser tag." You burst out laughing by his answer.

"Well you'd be surprised that she was the sporty one growing up." You started. "I sucked at sports."

"Including dancing." You blushed.

"No, you don't." You felt his hand brush yours. "But now since we don't have an audience, you want to try again?" He lead you to the gazebo that stood in the middle of the garden. The garden was quiet and peaceful, yet beautiful that you couldn't help but stare at the chain of lights that decorated the bushes and shrubs.

"I'll go slow." He said from your lack of resonance.

"Okay." He took your hand and placed his other hand around your waist as you place your hand on his shoulder. He swayed you to the music that was only heard from a distant.

"You dance fine." He whispered causing you to blush.

"So do you." You bit your lip. You didn't know if that drink was kicking in or you were just more relaxed.

You leaned your head against his shoulder as you both continued to sway to the music, feeling content, like you wanted this feeling to last forever. He stared down at you sweetly leaning closer. You closed your eyes letting it happen, craving every touch as he embraced yours. Your heart was beating out of your chest as the kiss got deeper deeper.

You moved your arms around his neck bringing him closer more desperately. You gently grabbed the backs of his hair as you battled dominance in your kiss.

He slid his hands down your thighs and tugged under your knee to signal you to jump. He gently placed you on the railing holding onto you tightly. He kissed you once more before moving down towards your neck, leaving soft tingles on your fragile skin. You couldn't help but moan softly as he appreciated your body.

His one hand reached up behind your back playing with your dress strap, loosening the material as the other crawled its way up your dress stopping at your sisters garter. "You still have this one?" He made a slight chuckle.

"Honestly I forgot." You blushed. "You can take it off if you want."

He smiled tugging on it but instead reached farther up hooking his finger into your lace panties, pulling down the material causing more butterflies in your stomach. His lips came back towards yours as he made himself more comfortable between your legs. You felt the sudden urge to tear every clothing off him but instead just reached for his buckle. You couldn't wait any longer. You had your hands exploring every inch of him until he stopped you. He leaned his head against yours watching himself line up with your center. You breathed slowly as he pushed inside. You were a little tight so the pain was visible, but you didn't care. He started to thrust at a steady pace that felt intimidating.

"Go faster." You demand causing him to smirk at you. He picked up his pace driving your head back weakly. The pleasure was hypnotizing, you felt like you were in a daydream and you never wanted to leave.

You couldn't help but moan as he was thrusting rapidly. You felt tingles all over your body. He kissed your neck more aggressively probably marking you with the evidence.

You could tell how close he was from him moving unsteady. "Wait, I'm almost there." You were impatient.

You could hear random people laughing in the background causing panic to stir. You held onto the railing tightly as you felt the pleasure rising. You felt almost helpless as he was starting to slow down. Hanbin closed his eyes tightly as he finally reached his climax inside of you. You just felt numb, not wanting to move ever again.

"We better get going." He whispered as you heard more voices.

"We look like a mess." You laughed straightening out his jacket.

As soon as you got back you noticed everyone seated. You saw your parents making a speech as everyone else was seated with the cake. When you took your seats your sister leaned in towards you.

"Where ya been?" She smirked.

"Just getting to know Hanbin a little." You said not making it sound like a big deal. You figured lying was pointless since her face lit up as soon as you both entered the dining hall.

"A little too much if you ask me."

"Stop, we were just talking." You brushed it off.

"Then why is half your zipper down?" She pulled it feeling the cold metal back in its place. You were so heated you didn't even noticed him playing with it.

"It fell."

"Remind me to change your room to Hanbins." She laughed.
