You there yes you my good sir would you be interested in a book series about a girl who’s half horse and is the mascot of a secret organization and she and her friends who are just as weird all fight evil angry goths together except they’re not that good at it and constantly lose and even when they win a battle they end up somehow losing something right after but it’s okay it’s not emotionally devastating to the reader at all, no not at all, and there are glittery flying alicorns and a furry rat whose farts will probably cause world war 3 and the government is incompetent and everything is super sparkly and literally everyone is gay for each other and why are you running where are you going stop screaming it’s an amazing series what no I’m not crazy

also im reading exile and im mildly mad at fitz and biana for being mad at sophie like !!! direct your anger elsewhere I get that you’re upset but she didn’t do anything !!! they’re like mildly justified but still—

Hnnng see I know where you’re coming from but like take this. I’m going to post a whole rant later, but like, imagine you have an amazing relationship with your father, you love him, he loves you, you’ve been together you’re entire lives and you trust him. He believes that you can do great things, that you’re talented and amazing.

Now imagine his mind is shattered. His consciousness is gone. He doesn’t know any rhyme or reason to anything. Obviously you want to help him. But for once in your life, you can’t, because you’re not talented enough. 

Your dad is gone, you can’t help him, and your friend was there, and she won’t tell you anything. She can supposedly “fix” him, but now she can’t? People are telling you not to try and save your father? The person that you’ve been most connected to all your life? 

I know what Fitz and Biana did isn’t justified. But if your father’s mind was shattered, and no one could help him, you’d lash out. At anyone who was trying to tell you that he’s “moved on”. I think people hate on him too much for that.
