Down to the dregs. 

When you are trying to wear a different outfit every day of the year without repeating any items, unless you have a truly bottomless closet, you are likely to find yourself down to the dregs when November and December roll around. Such is the case today, where even pulling out some items that still have tags on them didn’t help create much of an outfit worth writing about. 

The tunic top came from Carson’s. The most notable aspect was the price - at over 90% off (originally $68, purchased for $5.59) it was, if nothing else, commendable for it’s budget-friendliness. The leggings were similar in that they were only $12 at Costco. The shoes are from nearly 10 years ago. They were purchased for a trip to Europe as a shoe that could be dressed up but also relatively comfortable for days filled with walking. The pricing is long gone, but similar shoes online were recently found for $69. Since this pair was purchased at Macy’s, there would have been some sort of discount (due to credit card premier status which extends at least a 20% discount on any given day, and more than likely, a $20 off of $50 coupon was used). 

Even if you find yourself down to the dregs, you can still try to make the budgeting work.
