To create the visual world of my short film "The Bathtub" Nouri Zander and I constructed "miniature" buildings each nearly six feet tall! We then painstakingly animated the actors, shot on green screen, into this world. You can watch the trailer on Please Kill Me and get tickets for the premiere now! There are eight new pages of PACK in the world! And you can find them nestled amidst the 120 pages of indie comcis excellence in the newest Oneshi Press anthology! The healing anthology is out in limited-edition trade paperback now from the Oneshi Press online store, with a digital release coming next month. Catch up with the PACK as a new adventure begins—the story of Temperance, the mysterious Great Dane with a crown he lets no one touch…
About the Healing Anthology
Wrapped in a beautiful cover by James Groeling, the Healing Anthology starts with PJ Harper’s multi-character introduction.
First, it’s V2.3 of the epic graphic novel from Lynsey G. and Jayel Draco, Tracy Queen! Learn about Nikola the racoon’s past—and how he deals with his trauma.
Then, it’s on to “Kreepy” Kevin Sheely and Desiree King’s “Finn: Guardian of the Five Gates.” Follow a teen rocker into a realm where the mistakes of her parents mean only she can save the world…again. UGH!
Third, Grivante and Samir Simão’s Zee Brothers face their fears! They set off to help a homeowner with a zombie infestation in “The Case of the Zombie Omelet,” Part 2.
Then, float into a beautiful meditation about dissociation and identity in the haunting short comic “Far Away” from Jacey Chase.
And explore friendship’s healing powers, whether real or imaginary. Dive into AJ O. Mason and Luca Cicognola’s “My Giant Strange Friend.”
Next, discover a redemptive graphic novel that transforms a chicken wrestler into a savior. It’s the introduction to Jayel Draco’’s “Mr. Guy: Zombie Hunter”!
Can’t believe there’s so much goodness in one anthology?
Just wait…there’s more!
Next, journey into a supportive yet dangerous adventure with a polyamorous trio! The first half of “Detour” from Allison Bannister and Tom O’Brien is a refreshing new look at fantasy.
Next, enter a world where medicine, addiction, and blood have become complicated bedfellows. “Ziegler Box, Part 1” hails from Chaka Brown Freeman, Vicente Alcázar, Greg Gallagher, and Nouri Zander.
Up next, return to the vast fantasy universe of Children of Gaia with Peter Lampasona and D.L. Johnson. “Carrying Iron” offers our first glimpse into the realm of Terra…and its shady underworld.
Then, Oneshi Press debuts its Poets and Artists series! Jenny Williamson’s haunting poem about grief and survival, “Lungs and the Ghosts of Lungs,” becomes sequential art by Libby Bacon.
A superhero realizes that trauma doesn’t have a quick fix. “A Tale of Good Intentions” is an unsettling short comic from Patricia Loupee and Amy Hay.
Next, “Quantum 1.1” finds a Northern Cheyenne woman grappling with a missing sister and newfound superpowers all at once. Lenny Peppers and James Mason team up to deliver this first installment of a new indigenous superhero comic!
Finally, begin the third arc of Lynsey G. and Jayel Draco’s PACK. Here, the gentrification of these stray vigilantes’ mean streets has begun.
These pages are packed with art and comics, pleasure and pain, healing and redemption. We hope you’ll find strength, beauty, and maybe a bit of your own healing inside!
The limited-edition trade paperback is out now from Oneshi Press!

There are eight new pages from PACK #3: Temperance out now! They’re in the ninth Oneshi Press comics anthology, and this one is all about the dogs’ favorite subject: justice! Featuring new writing from Lynsey G., art from Jayel Draco, and lettering from Cardinal Rae, these new pages are available now at the Oneshi Press store!
About the New PACK Pages
#gallery-0-9 { margin: auto; } #gallery-0-9 .gallery-item { float: left; margin-top: 10px; text-align: center; width: 20%; } #gallery-0-9 img { border: 2px solid #cfcfcf; } #gallery-0-9 .gallery-caption { margin-left: 0; } /* see gallery_shortcode() in wp-includes/media.php */
This installment of PACK comes from the middle of the third issue in the series: Temperance. In these eight new pages, we learn more about Temperance, the Great Dane who runs with the PACK. This vigilante keeps to himself, but his calm courage and brilliant mind make him a valued member of the team. Temperance wears a high-tech crown of some kind on his head. He doesn’t like it when anyone tries to touch it, but it sure makes everyone curious!
In the Justice Anthology, we finally learn where that gadget came from, and get a clue about what it does. We get a peek into this tall, beautiful dog’s backstory. And we ask what justice looks like for a dog who’s been left behind. We we also discover that there may be a less-than-honorable member of James MacHaggert’s police force keeping track of the PACK’s every move…
Find out more in the Justice Anthology!

First, we start with stunning cover art by Shadowind. After that, the anthology kicks off with a frothy, eye-opening introduction by Sonne.
Then, the last installment of Tracy Queen, Volume 2 starts sensually with writing from Lynsey G. and art from Jayel Draco. Next up, Brendan Rowe and Fabio Ramacci show us a dating world where singles get satisfaction—or their  money back—in “On a Thing”! We then return to the adventures of “Gabrielle,” where Erica Schultz and Jan Velazquez deliver divine retribution to the boss in a “Sweatshop.” And then, in “The Witch’s Justice” by Nachiket Naik and Jacob Fleming, magical comeuppance applies to everyone, no matter how powerful. After that, a sweet tale of inclusive love and adventure concludes with “Detour, Part 2” from Allison Bannister and Tom O’Brien. In “The Berbackus,” Chris Lackie and Sean Bova weave a tale of cryptid correction.
After that, “Ziegler Box” from Chaka Brown Freeman, Vicente Alcázar, Greg Gallagher, and Nouri Zander takes us down a sinister path where unquenchable thirst is no accident. Next, “Trinkets,” a Children of Gaia tale from Lynsey G. and Eldkrind, introduces readers to magical kids who take on bullies. Then, in “Bloom Squad” by James Wayne Johnson and Marcelo Salaza, finding justice means seeking understanding—even of one’s own superpowers. Follow that by entering the world of Vigilante 2890 in “Junction” from Kael McDonald and Jacey Chase, where the consequences of injustice are weighed against the consequences of revenge. Finally, the dogs of the PACK watch gentrification encroach in PACK #3: Temperance, 3.2 from Lynsey G. and Jayel Draco.
Go Grab Yours!
The Justice Anthology takes readers on unexpected journeys to look at justice—and its absence—from every angle. These twenty-five creators have built stunning worlds. And you’re invited to explore them! But be warned: There’s a limited supply of these gorgeous 112-page volumes. So be sure to grab yours before they’re gone!

It’s time for new pages from the graphic novel about yours truly! And this time there are TWELVE in one place—the Justice Anthology. The 9th comics anthology from Oneshi Press collects a dozen short comics from diverse creators all over the damn place! That includes the final pages of Tracy Queen, V2: Dangerous Experiments. And it’s available right freakin’ now at the Oneshi Press store!
About the New Pages
#gallery-0-9 { margin: auto; } #gallery-0-9 .gallery-item { float: left; margin-top: 10px; text-align: center; width: 20%; } #gallery-0-9 img { border: 2px solid #cfcfcf; } #gallery-0-9 .gallery-caption { margin-left: 0; } /* see gallery_shortcode() in wp-includes/media.php */
The twelve new pages from writer Lynsey G., artist Jayel Draco, and letterer Cardinal Rae go deep. After rescuing several young women from the clutches of my grandfather’s gang, I let them hang out at my place for a while. Then I sent them all on their way. Most decided to head home, but one asked me to go to Los Angeles. I didn’t find out until much later why she’d chosen that city…but you’ll discover her reasons when you read these new pages. You’ll also watch as I make the leap from solo cam work to partnered sex on camera. It was a huge moment for me, and after realizing how much I loved it…I never looked back.
Get all the art (plus hilariously clever “censorship bars” to protect the tender eyes of the reading public from nipples and butt cracks) and the whole story in the Justice Anthology! And keep your eyes on this space for Tracy Queen V2: Dangerous Experiments, which is coming soon!

Prediksi skor Leverkusen vs Werder Bremen 11 Maret 2017
Tuan rumah masih tanpa bintangnya Hakan Calhanoglu yang terkena hukuman lama, sementara Center back Jonathan Tah meragukan kondisinya.
Prediksi Susunan Pemain Leverkusen vs Werder Bremen :
Leverkusen : Leno, Toprak, Wendell, Henrichs, Jonathan, Bellarabi, Brandt, Havertz, Baumgartling, Mehmedi, Hernandez,
Werder Bremen : Husic , Busch, García, Selassie, Sternberg, Zander, Ayçiçek, Bartels, Junuzović, Gnabry, Kruse.
Head To Head Leverkusen vs Werder Bremen :
15/10/16 Werder Bremen 2 – 1 Leverkusen 03/03/16 Leverkusen 1 – 4 Werder Bremen 10/02/16 Leverkusen 1 – 3 Werder Bremen 26/09/15 Werder Bremen 0 – 3 Leverkusen 08/02/15 Werder Bremen 2 – 1 Leverkusen
Lima Pertandingan Terakhir Leverkusen :
04/02/17 Hamburger SV 1 – 0 Bayer Leverkusen 11/02/17 Bayer Leverkusen 3 – 0 Eintracht Fran… 18/02/17 Augsburg 1 – 3 Bayer Leverkusen 22/02/17 Bayer Leverkusen 2 – 4 Atlético Madrid 25/02/17 Bayer Leverkusen 0 – 2 Mainz 05
Lima Pertandingan Terakhir Werder Bremen :
28/01/17 Werder Bremen 1 – 2 Bayern München 05/02/17 Augsburg 3 – 2 Werder Bremen 11/02/17 Werder Bremen 0 – 1 Borussia M’gla… 18/02/17 Mainz 05 0 – 2 Werder Bremen 25/02/17 Wolfsburg 1 – 2 Werder Bremen

Kainz), S. Garcia – Bauer, Zander – Fritz, Delaney – Schmidt (46. Gnabry) – Johannsson, Pizarro (81. J. Eggestein) Karlsruher SC, 1. HZ: Orlishausen – Bader, Kinsombi, Figueras, Kempe – Yamada, Prömel – Barry, Vujinovic, Stoppelkamp – Diamantakos Karlsruher SC, 2. HZ: Vollath – Mavrias, Kom, Thoelke, Sallahi – Marvin Mehlem, Rolim, Marcel Mehlem, Fahrenholz – Vujinovic, Batmaz Tore: 0:1 Vujinovic (35.), 1:1 Johannsson (81.)

Nick Zedd's "Beyond Transgression" DVD, New York Asian Film Fest Ticket Giveaways, "Forged in Fire" and Brooklyn Fire Proof Meets Troma!
Tumblr media
Nick Zedd's "Beyond Transgression" DVD Available Now, Including Films Produced by Brooklyn Fire Proof
Brooklyn Fire Proof friend, collaborator and founder of the "Cinema of Transgression" underground movement, Nick Zedd, has a new DVD collection of his work available entitled "Beyond Transgression." Two of the films contained herein - "The Death of Muffinhead" and "Attack of the Particle Disruptors" - were shot at Brooklyn Fire Proof, and produced by Brooklyn Fire Proof. A special feature exclusive to this DVD - an interview between Nick Zedd and Muffinhead where they discuss Muffinhead's art and background was also produced by Brookyn Fire Proof. Nick has been living and working in Mexico City, where he has recently run afoul of the kind of gentrification he left New York to get away from. During that time, he has made a number of personal projects and some music videos for local Mexico City artists. A good number of that material, as well as films shot in the US and Europe, are collected in "Beyond Transgression." Nick came to the Brooklyn Fire Proof "Temporary Storage Galleries" in 2014 for a handful of screenings and a gallery show of his paintings co-presented by the Millennium Film Workshop and Microscope Gallery. During that show, we discussed having Nick do a project with Brooklyn Fire Proof. In 2016, as we at Brooklyn Fire Proof planned our Summer Screening Series, the decision was made to have a "filmmaker in residence" during this period. We decided to bring Nick in for this, and to make new films (on a whirlwind schedule) to premiere as the finale of our series, as part of a retrospective on Nick's work. The films were produced by Brooklyn Fire Proof's Kenneth Filmer and Thomas Burr Dodd, and featured creative work from many of our current and former employees and collaborators, notably animator Nouri Zander, cinematographer Kyle Parsons and writer Jonathan Mittiga. Both the series and the films were a success and have played multiple festivals, gallery screenings and a west coast tour with Mr. Zedd.
Tumblr media
Nick has been very partial to the films and the experience. In a recent interview with "A Gathering of Tribes," Nick described the experience: "I did a one-night show [at Brooklyn Fire Proof]. Brooklyn Fire Proof commissioned me to make two short films in 2016, one of which is called “The Death of Muffinhead” and the other was “The Attack of the Particle Disruptors,” which was the animated three paintings. And that was probably the best experience I've had as a filmmaker." For our own press release on the films, Mr. Zedd stated: “Working with Muffinhead and the Brooklyn Fire Proof team, especially Kenneth, Nouri and Thomas was the best filmmaking experience of my life.  In a limited time frame we got together, came up with great ideas and finished two films that broke creative barriers and made history. Muffinhead is a genius. His creative vision, along with the efficient support of Brooklyn Fire Proof films inspired me to make my best film ever, “The Death of Muffinhead.”
I'm grateful to Brooklyn Fire Proof for providing the resources, financing and creative support that enabled me to create “Attack of the Particle Disruptors” and “The Death of Muffinhead" with such speed, resulting in two new movies that have literally stunned audiences whenever I've shown them publicly.” Purchase the DVD locally in NYC from our friends at Forbidden Planet - one of the last great media stores in the city - at 13th and Broadway in Manhattan. You can also purchase copies from Nick himself and support the artist directly. We'll share more Nick Zedd news and content with our newsletter readers in the months ahead, as well as more news about upcoming Brooklyn Fire Proof productions. Pick up a copy "Beyond Transgression" today!

New Brooklyn Fire Proof-Shot Episodes of "Forged in Fire" Airing Now
Tumblr media
History's popular competition show, "Forged in Fire," is still airing brand new episodes of Season 5 every Tuesday night in prime time.  Of course, we at Brooklyn Fire Proof are big fans of the show, which shot all of the stage portions of their seasons 1-5 right here in our Stages A and B. They were a small show at first, and we watched them grow into a bonafide hit, as they essentially moved in for a few years.
Expect a big, exclusive feature about the art of "Forged in Fire" in a future Brooklyn Fire Proof newsletter, but in the interim enjoy these nice pieces about the show in Vice, Blade Mag, and the Democrat & Chronicle.
New episodes of "Forged in Fire" air Tuesdays at 9/8C on History.

Yes, KHLOARIS’s wonderful video for “GOP” by TFG will be screening at this year’s Tromadance festival. The film was animated and directed by Nouri Zander, produced by Kenneth Filmer and Nouri Zander for KHLOARIS, executive produced by El Jefe for TFG and with ORIGINAL ART BY MIKE DIANA. It’s a wonderful, sticky mess. They’re also featuring the important, and underseen documentary, “Boiled Angels: The Trial of Mike Diana” by the unparalleled Frank Henenlotter. You’ll remember that we screened this film ourselves at the last Color Giants Expo. You’ll also remember that we screed Troma at our Freak Flag Fest last year! Our friend Dylan Mars Greenberg, who’s also been working with KHLOARIS will be on hand with her video for Death Valley Girls. KHLOARIS has been keeping odd, talented company and we wouldn’t have it any other way. The event is June 21-22 at 3 Dollar Bill. Come hang out and support real independent art. @tromateam @tromaarmy @johnnychiba @boiledmikediana @mikehunchback @dylanmarsgreenberg @dreadcentral @forbiddenplanetnyc @lloydkaufman @deathvalleygirls @colorgiantscinema @freakflagfest @3dollarbillbk #troma #khloaris #mikediana #tfg #gop #wetstickymess #tromadance #3dollarbill #frankhenenlotter #boiledangel #boiledangels #forbiddenplanet #dreadcentral #deathvalleygirls #dylangreenberg #lloydkaufman #realindependentart #musicvideo #animation #undergroundfilm https://www.instagram.com/p/BxLZDmLFypo/?igshid=1ceeqb9cr0fz7

Two New Films by Nick Zedd & Brooklyn Fire Proof
Tumblr media
Legendary underground filmmaker Nick Zedd and creative complex Brooklyn Fire Proof are proud to announce the release of two new short films, “The Death of Muffinhead” and “Attack of the Particle Disruptors”, produced by Brooklyn Fire Proof Films and shot in Brooklyn Fire Proof’s Bushwick soundstages. Both films were directed by Nick Zedd, produced by Kenneth Filmer, and feature effects and animation by Nouri Zander. Brooklyn Fire Proof’s founder Thomas Burr Dodd served as executive producer.
“The Death of Muffinhead” was inspired by the elaborate costumes designed and fabricated by New York-based artist Muffinhead. The film stars Muffinhead and artist Anaïs Djin performing all of the roles. The film also includes cinematography by Kyle Parsons and the song “Lost Illusions” by Exploded View. “Attack of the Particle Disruptors” animates three of Mr. Zedd’s original paintings. It features dialogue written and voiced by the band Sisyphus Autopsy, and by Jonathan Mittiga with voice acting by Nick Zedd. Michael Slatky provided the music.
Both films are currently available to interested film festivals, galleries, and other screening events. Please contact [email protected] for more information.
This collaboration was initiated by Brooklyn Fire Proof producer, programmer, and stage manager Kenneth Filmer, who wanted the new films by Nick Zedd to premiere as the finale of the 2016 Brooklyn Fire Proof Summer Screening Series. The free series, which was conceived of, programmed, and hosted by Mr. Filmer in Brooklyn Fire Proof’s sizable outdoor alley, featured new and original programs curated by a variety of Brooklyn Fire Proof’s collaborators. “Bringing Nick Zedd to New York from his home in Mexico City to create and premiere two new shorts—as part of a ‘Nick Zedd career retrospective’—seemed like a perfect way to end a series that was about celebrating the outer limits of film in New York. The abbreviated timeline made it an ambitious, possibly insane, project, but we pulled it off,” says Mr. Filmer. The team Filmer assembled had six days to make both films, and screened them on the seventh day.
Mr. Zedd says:
“Working with Muffinhead and the Brooklyn Fire Proof team, especially Kenneth, Nouri and Thomas, was the best filmmaking experience of my life. In a limited time frame we got together, came up with great ideas and finished two films that broke creative barriers and made history. Muffinhead is a genius. His creative vision, along with the efficient support of Brooklyn Fire Proof films inspired me to make my best film ever, “The Death of Muffinhead.”
I'm grateful to Brooklyn Fire Proof for providing the resources, financing and creative support that enabled me to create “Attack of the Particle Disruptors” and “The Death of Muffinhead” with such speed, resulting in two new movies that have literally stunned audiences whenever I've shown them publicly.”
Nick Zedd is an American filmmaker and author from New York City. In 1985, he coined the term Cinema of Transgression to describe a loose-knit group of like-minded New York filmmakers and artists using shock value and black humor in their work. These filmmakers and artistic collaborators included Richard Kern, Tessa Hughes Freeland, Lung Leg, Annie Sprinkle and Lydia Lunch. Under numerous pen names, Zedd wrote and edited The Underground Film Bulletin (1984–90) which publicized the work of these filmmakers. Mr. Zedd’s autobiography Totem of the Depraved was published by Henry Rollins’ 2.13.61 publications in 1996. From 2004 to 2008, Zedd produced and directed a TV series, “The Adventures of Electra Elf”. Since moving to Mexico in 2011, Zedd has edited three issues of the magazine Hatred of Capitalism, in which his “Extremist Manifesto” was published, sending shock waves through the art world. Recent films shot in Mexico City include “Dr Shinto: Frustration”, “Cockfight”, “Demonica”, “Demonic Sweaters: Love Always Love” and a series of music videos for reggaeton singer Natalia Ibenez Lorio aka #laBAE.

About Sylvanakaia
Deep in the forests of Sylvanakaia, in a remote region of Rendaraia, dwell the Keetsune’Kesh. A raider tribe, they survive on their wits—and whatever they can steal from nearby Maeztere’Kesh villages. The raiders return with spoils—fat Corater’Adda calves, processed grain, and especially trinkets. The Keetsune’Kesh love shiny things—jewels, precious metals, even simple tools. The tribespeople proudly wear their prizes and often bestow the fruits of their courage upon family members to mark their success across generations.
But the Maeztere’Kesh don’t like being robbed. So they’ve employed the vicious Honeshu’Kesh—another tribe in the region—to ward off the Keetsune’Kesh raiders. Therefore, an age-old rivalry exists between the two tribes, with the larger Honeshu’Kesh relentlessly hunting the smaller, more cunning Keetsune’Kesh.
It’s in the midst of this ancient conflict that writer Lynsey G., artist Elkdrind, and letterer Cardinal Rae created “Trinkets,” a short comic in the 9th Oneshi Press comics collection—the Justice Anthology.
About “Trinkets”
L’Achsellyn is a young Keetsune’kesh who lags behind her peers in one crucial way: She hasn’t yet learned to transform partially into a Keetsun’Ekka—the totem of her people. These fox-like creatures (featured on the cover of the Justice Anthology, above) are so revered by her tribe that, over millennia of mimicking them, the Keetsune’Kesh have learned to appear like them at will. Most Keetsune’Kesh can transform their bodies so that they resemble their favorite animal. But not L’achs.
When we meet L’Achs, bullies are tormenting her. But then a group of other youngsters comes by, offering her understanding and friendship. They spend the afternoon playing and getting to know one another. That is, until they find one of the bullies, who’s now a victim of a Honeshu’Kesh raid!
Will L’Achs and her new friends let the Honeshu’Kesh deal out justice to their own bully? Or will they find a different kind of justice in helping one of their own? Find out in the Justice Anthology—out now in trade paperback at the Oneshi Press store!

Time to Get Yours!

We’ve been collecting short comics into beautiful, full-color anthologies since 2017. And we think this time, we’ve really gone and outdone ourselves. Our ninth anthology explores the concept of justice—what it means, what it doesn’t, and those who seek it imagine it. With work from over two dozen indie creators, the Justice Anthology is one of our most ambitious to date. These 112 gorgeous pages invite you to think about what justice means to these characters, to these stories…and to you. And they’re out now exclusively at the Oneshi Press store!
