1/? Heya, 11 year-old anon here again, and I'm here to respond to the things you asked. As for the doctor, I would, but I have EXTREMELY strict and overprotective parents, and they're always going on about how we have it so easy, and how their life was so much harder (Since they're Cuban immigrants), also with the fact that my father is recovering from a major cancer surgery, I honestly doubt they'd take me seriously. Secondly, for if how it seems to be getting worse, honestly it's just waves of

(full question) different feelings at different times. Sometimes I feel upbeat, sometimes I don’t, sometimes I feel bad, and sometimes I just feel nothing at all. It happens randomly, for example, the time when my friend was comforting me and telling me he loved me (Platonically), I still felt horrible, and other times I just feel different emotions just all over the place, I don’t know when it’s going to happen next. Thirdly, no, I don’t really have any ways to make it feel better, unfortunately. If you have any tips, that would be unbelievably useful. Fourthly, I have bad hygiene because I haven’t showered in??? Days?? Also I just leave my room like a mess a lot and don’t bother to clean much. I would, but when I’m too tired to grab my fav snack at the store, or to repeat a sentence to someone, I can’t do it easily. Tips would indeed be really useful, Ryan. Lastly, I’m the youngest in our whole friend group of like 20 people? I’m the only 6th grader, there are about?? 5 grade 7s and then the rest are in grade 8. maybe your school has something in place for people struggling, that way you could explain that your parents are strict about that kind of situation but you just want somebody close to you to understand. we do definitely not have it easy, we just have different struggles than they had growing up. but that doesn’t mean they should be compared or that everyone has an easy life because that’s far from the truth. im sorry to hear about your dad. but they shouldn’t use that as an excuse to ignore the issues that you’re experiencing, you’re just as important. i feel like that sometimes too and it’s hard to get out of certain moods but you just have to find your own way that helps you deal with the different emotions you’re feeling, it’s normal to feel like this, everybody does. some people are just better at dealing with it than others. but it can be hard when someone is comforting you or telling you it’s going to be okay when you’re sad because in that moment you don’t feel like it will be, but it will and you’ll feel better when it does. when you can feel your anxieties getting worse you could try to distract your mind, draw, paint, colour etc. try to breathe and give yourself affirmations to repeat in your head or say out loud. research your pressure points and use them to help you. think about things that make you happy, try ro remember moments where you felt true happiness and try to remember what happened, where it was, who you were with. try to get your mindset to shift into something positive that doesn’t cause you hurt or upset.  in regards to your hygiene, make sure you’re showering at least 4 times a week, use deodreant every morning, brush your teeth twice a day, brush your hair in the mornings and whenever you may feel like it’s getting notty and tangled. you could eat gum or mints after you get done eating, use dry shampoo if you feel like your hair may be greesy, use body spray or perfume when you’re getting ready, wear clothes that make you feel good. there’s lots of basic quick things you can do to improve your general hygiene. but also for sure try not to beat yourself up if you don’t do all of these things every single day. they may be easy or quick to some people but to others they can be so difficult and require much more effort or time so you take as much time as you need to set into a routine that works for you and try not to put that pressure on yourself. for your room it might help to have a clear out of all your old things, clothes, books, rubbish etc. and once you’ve done that make sure everything else has it’s place and after you use things put them back in their place. make your bed when you wake up in the morning, open your blinds/curtains to let in the light, make sure you’re putting your clothes away or into the wash basket and not throwing them all over the floor or furniture. use room sprays or diffusers to make your room smell good, hoover the floors and get rid of any dirt or crumbs that collect. put on your favourite songs and listen to them while you’re cleaning which will make it seem a lot less stressful and boring. 

i know it can be super hard to make new friends or see old friends move to different schools but try to keep close bonds with the ones that aren’t leaving and make plans to see the ones who are. there’s so much opportunity for new friendships when you’re at school. so try to use it to your advantage
