The Iron Jedi

Abigail Stark the daughter of world famous Tony Stark aka Iron Man is seen in her lab working on a little invention she has been working on. A portal that will take her from where she is at to another universe. She figures this will work since did all the proper calculations and the small testing to be sure it will not open a portal to a zombie world. She also made sure it wouldn’t open to a multiverse.

Don’t want something happening again. As she goes over the numbers her friend Lyra walks in looking concerned.

“Abby, maybe we shouldn’t do this. Maybe we should wait till we run some more tests,” Lyra suggested.

“Oh don’t worry so much, Lyra. This is all going to turn out fine,” Abby replied as she begins powering up the machine. “I know what I’m doing. Have I ever been wrong?”

Lyra points to a nearby chalkboard that shows how many times she has been wrong and right. She has been right 19 times, while on the other side she has been wrong 119 times.

Abby narrows her eyes at the board and at her friend. “Yeah well...” she turns on the machine. “Whoops too late looks like we’re going to test this now.”

“Abby!” Lyra didn’t like that Abby did that as she activates the shield generator to surround the area where the portal is at. “At least wait till I activated the shield.”

“Too slow, Lyra. Now, let’s see where in the universe my portal is...” suddenly the alarm begins going off as the machine begins acting up. “Oh shit not good!”

“We have to shut it down!” Lyra tries shutting down the machine, but it wasn’t working.

“Jocasta! Shut the power down!” Abby ordered her A.I. as she helps to try cutting off the power, but it isn’t working either.

“I can’t. Something is coming through the portal,” said Jocasta through the computer as something did begin emerging from the portal as the machine begins to crack.

“Take cover!” Abby and Lyra took cover as something emerged from the portal before it blew into pieces as they scatter into the air. But luckily the shield blocked the debris as they fell to the ground.

Abby looks up from behind the table and sighed. “That...wasn’t how it was supposed to go.”

Lyra got up and was tempted to tell her friend she told her so, but was more concerned about something else. “What came through the portal?”

“During out first mission together, despite that I didn’t want a padawan then, I saw you and I realized how much of me was in you. Reckless and powerful, but with a good heart. Somehow I knew that you were meant to be my padawan. And as we did many mission together during the Clone Wars, you would demonstrate things when you were fighting that showed how advanced you were and I would think to myself ‘I didn’t know she could do that.’ You still surprise me and I enjoy it. The Jedi were the true threat to the Republic. How had he not seen it until now? It was they who had refused to help him, they who in their infinite self-righteousness would chide him for exacting justice upon a tribe of murderers yet would kill a defenseless old man in cold blood. They were the one obstacle between him and saving Padmé. He had to remind himself that they had betrayed Ahsoka as well, and that she had seen the light before he had.

“I feel more like myself than I’ve ever been.” he replied, tilting his head. Unbeknownst to him, his normally blue eyes were a disturbing shade of yellow. “The Jedi are corrupt—they only wanted power to bolster their own declining relevance. The Chancellor has shown me the pathway to power that would help me end this war and bring peace to the galaxy. Join me and we can save everyone, just the way we did before.”

☏: What is the most challenging aspect of playing this muse?

The easiest, and most challenging parts of playing my muse… when the inspirationstrikes, it tends to stick around pretty well. There are some days where ideas seem to just pour out and I can hardly wait to write! As for writing conditions, sometimes it’s just more fun writing her as a little kid. It’s much easier to win muse’s hearts that way... :p And I don’t have to keep the default angst all the time in that state, which is nice too.

And challenging... well, her default state is that of a Star Wars muse. And while I do have crossover-verses, it’s proving to be extremely challenging to fit in another muse’s ‘world’. ^^; The interest seems set pretty firmly in having the two mismatched worlds meet! It’s a little funny, other muses have such long lists of other worlds they can fit into with different stories, but mine is more-or-less ‘set’. I wonder what sets mine apart sometimes!

Qui-Gon is definitely the type to write love letters - handwrite them, too, and actually making the effort to make his handwriting be legible. He’s the kind to compare your eyes to galaxy and similarly corny stuff.

Deep down, Qui-Gon is a huge sappy... You just don’t get to see it unless he’s truly, utterly in love with you, and that’s not easy. He’s all for sex buddies, but true love? Ah, good luck with that! He guards his heart fiercely.
