mysaria crying over the fact that she doesn’t know why shes crying is so.. and rhaenyra trying to comfort her im going to fling myself into the SUN. ALSO. mysaria sleeping fully snuggled ontop of rhaenyra like NOWWW i need to know all their preferred sleeping positions esp since rhaenyra is a space heater

Happy to indulge…

-Rhaenyra is usually the big spoon but she has her moments where she’s feeling vulnerable and will allow side cuddles from Mysaria.

-Mysaria likes to listen to Rhaenyra’s heartbeat when she’s feeling anxious or overwhelmed, so she’ll sleep on Rhaenyra’s chest to tune out the noise in her head.

-If the two are feeling particularly affectionate, they will sleep face to face, sharing the same air. Usually, sometime during the night, Mysaria ends up nuzzling Rhaenyra’s neck because she likes the way Rhaenyra smells and Rhaenyra may bury her nose in Mysaria’s hair because she also likes the way Mysaria smells.

Over time, they find that they cannot sleep without the other present. (Because the gay forces are too strong)

As someone who never watched magical girl animes as a kid, is it weird to admit that Night of the Blue Moon made me nostalgic for something I've never actually experienced?

Thanks for the tag! This was an interesting one, but here goes:

1.) Who’s already asleep when the sun sets?

Nathaniel, if he’s had a long day. He has a habit of falling asleep on Kunio’s lap while they’re watching TV, and Kunio doesn’t know if he finds it cute or annoying. On one hand, your significant other falling asleep on you is a big show of trust, but on the other, his legs start to fall asleep after a while…

2.) Who’s making the dinner?

Kunio. He’s the only one of my OCs who can cook.

3.) Who stays up all night doing one thing?

Ariel. The only reason she’d even be at this party is if the gods forced her to attend. She’s spending the entire night focusing on whichever task they’ve assigned her which requires her to attend the party.

4.) Who needs to be healed? Every time?

Kunio, if something triggers him. For the love of all that is holy, do not touch him, especially if you’re a woman. This boy has a laundry list of trauma involving women.

5.) Who’s going to be partying?

Everyone except for Ariel, and maybe Solana if she’s also being forced to attend the party by the gods. As Ariel’s partner, she has to stay alert and complete her mission.

6.) Who’s going to prank who?

Pamela and Zinnia are pranking EVERYONE. As soon as the others are passed out drunk, they’re drawing dicks on their faces.

7.) Who just can’t catch a break?

Nathaniel, because he’s always the designated driver on account of the fact that he can’t drink.

8.) Who’s going to make an almost certainly unfixable mistake?

Pamela. She hasn’t touched molly since she ‘died’, but she’ll do other party drugs. It’s not like she can die from an overdose anymore, but if she takes too much benadryl, she’ll go on an insane rant about how the hat man is trying to steal the loose change in her car.

Saz we need to talk about this chapter.

OK, i teared up several times. I mean like legit, when Mysaria was thinking about how Rhaenyra reacted when she found out and how the baby might put her position in jeopardy and she told the baby "i want you even if the realm doesnt" like hello?? Are you kidding me? Also did Rhaenyra ride there on horseback to get her girl back?? That was so sexy of her NGL but then the conversation they had about why they chose one another had me gagged then the hot sex like, wtf. Couldnt breathe, need a trigger warning to drink water next time. Then, the DRAGON DREAM, cause thats what it had to have been, so im flat out asking, is Mysaria going to become a Dragon rider??? Did the baby do that?? Then, Criston fucking Cole still being alive and stirring shit up in Dorne and only MYSARIA coming to the correct conclusion?? Like you have me so ready to be your sugar person to fund your next pay check so you can just stay home and give us the entire fucking fic!! Lastly, i adore the way you use High Valyrian, its so immersive and i love that this is how Rhaenyra and Mysaria really convey their emotions and connect to each other! A million kudos!

Oh my, I am so humbled by this. Especially about the needing a water trigger warning because lol. But, regarding the dragon dream, yes it was Mysaria dreaming and yes I plan to make her an official dragon rider outside of what she already does with Rhaenyra. Is her pregnancy the cause of this? Strong maybe. I’m glad you like my use of Valyrian because I love the language so being able to implement as a way to tell Rhaesaria’s story is a plus for me. Thank you so much for your comments!

So this is the design I ended up choosing for my cover. The other sketches were gorgeous, but this one fit the vibe of the story best, so I had to go ahead with this one. I can't wait for the finished result!!

Interesting ask, but I’ll bite:

Kunio: Yes to both. But no more than two beers because I know that I couldn’t beat him in a drinking contest if I tried. He has an alcohol tolerance that’s higher than Wiz Khalifa, unlike me

Nathaniel: No and yes, in that order, but only because I’d feel bad drinking in front of someone who cannot drink alcohol for health reasons

Ariel: Yes to both. She is one of the most trustworthy people you could ever want to meet, and if you tell her a secret, she will take it to the grave

Solana: Yes to both. Again, she’s one of the most trustworthy people you could ever want to meet, and she’s really sweet and caring. She’s very much the cool big sis type

Pamela (MC of Blood On A Yellow Rose, which will be my next release after NOTBM): Yes and no in that order. Pamela is great fun to party with, and she’ll hook you up with any recreational substance you could want, but I wouldn’t trust her with a puppy. Despite being a doctor, she’s nowhere near responsible enough to care for anything but herself in her spare time

Zinnia: Yes to both. She loves to party, and she’s very much a dog person

She felt Rhaenyra’s fingers lightly pressing under her chin, tilting the Lyseni’s head up towards her.

“That is not how I see you Mysaria.” The queen stated, eyes boring into her own. “You stopped being a whore long ago, when you began trading in the secrets of men for gold instead of your body and you became worthy of me the day you decided to save my life rather than board a ship to Essos, leaving me to my fate…”

“I could never have done that Rhaenyra-.”

“Yes, you could’ve-.”

“Not after you had given me my freedom.” Mysaria implored, eyes stinging from unshed tears. “You could’ve held me as your captive out of spite, for my own association with the Greens or even Daemon for that matter…but you didn’t Rhaenyra, despite all the reasons you had to do the opposite, you chose to free me and you…you just don’t know what that meant to me…what you mean to me…”

“I could say the same.” The dragon queen stated, wiping away the tears now trailing freely down Mysaria’s cheeks with her thumbs, a blazing storm swirling in the depths of her lilac eyes. “I don’t think you truly know what you mean to me Mysaria…”

“Rhaenyra…”

“Let me show you.”

-How long does it take to die from a fentanyl overdose?

-Is blood an acceptable offering to Hecate?

-Can you eat offerings made to Hecate after they’ve served their purpose?

-Epithets of Hades (I learned that he has an epithet meaning the beautiful haired one, and I love it. This greatly influenced my design of him in the Blue Moon series, and I plan on referencing it in the second book)

- Chapter 4 sneak peak-

From a distance, Mysaria watched Alicent take Rhaenyra’s offered arm as they began slowly making their way back to the palace, still engaged deeply in conversation. To her left, she could hear the sound of a cane striking the ground and turned to see Corlys coming to join her. They both inclined their heads respectfully at one another before turning back to the pair of queens.

“I take it you were the one to send the invitation to Alicent.” The sea snake noted, glancing over at her.

Mysaria raised an eyebrow, impressed by Corlys’s observation. “I was.”

“Why?”

The Lysenia sighed, unwilling to meet his gaze. “Because I needed to know if Alicent was still a threat.”

“A threat to what?”

“To everything...” She said finally facing him. “All that Rhaenyra has accomplished in the past two years. This entire realm burned because of this woman and instead of punishing her, Rhaenyra allowed her to escape with her life unmarred by her own transgressions…What does that tell you about the power she may yet still hold over our queen?”

“And you felt she would somehow return unannounced and tear down the life you and Rhaenyra are building together.” Corlys noted softly.

Mysaria’s sharp gaze cut back over to the garden, they’d stopped now and were embracing again. The sight of it made her want to gauge Alicent’s eyes out.

“I know you will blame my thoughts on my condition.”

“Tis a factor yes��”

“Their relationship never bothered me before but…I can’t help but wonder what Rhaenyra truly feels for her.”

“Love.” Corlys stated gruffly. “They love each other, have since they were young. But the one thing you are missing my lady is that Rhaenyra is no longer looking to her past for answers about her future. She is finally living in the present and you are a large part of that, whereas Alicent, is not.”

Joy:

“Yeah, he’s perfect for my collection!” she giggled happily.

Anger:

“Quiet,” Ariel shot back, “Give back Anargyros's torch, now. If you do not cooperate, I will show you no mercy.”

Sadness:

Tears were streaming down her stony face, and the look in her eyes was one of betrayal, like she’d broken some unspoken rule between them.

Anxiety:

Ariel drummed her free hand on the windowsill as she thought of what to do. If she called the police, they wouldn’t get here in time. It only took a second to stab someone to death, so it was up to her to save Solana.

Fear:

Blue Moon’s lips trembled. “No, no, no, you can’t”--

Embarrassment:

Ariel’s face went bright red, and she had a blue screen of death look in her eyes. “I, uh…Thanks…” she fumbled out, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear, “You, uh…You are…You look cute, too…”

Disgust:

“I don’t like coffee, and I hate tea, aside from matcha,” she responded, “I don’t like bitter things.”

JOY (well...kind of)

When Ashley and Amy stop a few feet from the group the shorter of them which might be also the younger, jumps on his feet : "Ashley!" he shouts, clearly happy to see her. Which to Amy feels unexpected and strangely nice at the same time. Even more when she catches the glimpse of sudden softness that crosses Ashley's eyes, a flickering thing that for a moment changes her whole face expression and has the power to enraptures Amy. "Hi Ninjo, you good?" even her voice sounds different.

ANGER (Oh.....I have plenty of this 😅)

Breath is too labored now, every cell in her body start screaming, Amy's petrified. She catches a swift movement out of the corner of her eye, something slotting between her and the looming mass of the man. Not something. Someone. Shielding her. "Piss the fuck off!" Ashley hisses, the buzz in Amy's ears still loud enough that she barely grab the words. The sudden intrusion and Ashley's murderous gaze get the man to stumble as he's forced back on his feet, a bulky hand grasping the edge of the counter to stabilize himself when the stool waver under his weight and falls on the floor.

SADNESS (I had to borrow this one from chief Herrera, he talks to Amy about how Ashley got her scars)

He frowns : "I was there when the doctors toke the bandages off." "By then I kind of knew so I asked her, at first, if I could stay. Incredible enough, she said yes" Herrera's face twitches : "It was a shocking sight". "I bet it was" I breath out. "Even more shocking was to see her letting a single tear roll, just one. Then she stared at the mirror the nurse gave her eyes dry and cold. I couldn't believe it." He leans against the backrest : "I didn't know what to say to the girl, so....I said nothing."

ANXIETY

Problem is, she's not fucking alone and.... Anxious. The awareness makes her anxious. Usually a feeling related with being trapped or in danger, and now hit her with a brand new flavor that she can't quite place yet but it's unwelcome, no doubt. And it's pure frustration coming from that thought that fuels the next push upwards despite the unstable edging climbing hold.

FEAR (not so much...she'll have plenty later 😬)

"I'm right here!" Ashley tries to reassure while keeping an eye to the hesitant descent which makes her edgy already . The earthly scent is thick, too strong to define as petrichor. The air pressure difference is already noticeable and it will be even more so as they'll head deeper into the narrow passage. Ashley considers this tunnel a short one but she's aware that perceptions vary and she eagerly hopes that the girl will manage to keep up. Amy. The girl's name is Amy. Ashley frowns at herself as she awaits, would tap her foot already if it wasn't for the mud sticking beneath her boots.

DISGUST

Between broken words Jonas is panting : "Ludo was pissed because Enrique came in late, his girl fault, drives him nuts....They had to take off in a rush...." "Just the two of them went in? " "Yeah...Ludo and Enrique ...Just the two of them. It was suppose to be an easy job....." Ashley scoffs clearly in disgust : "Easy uhu? You assholes...." "Girl you know how it is...." Ashley snaps : "Man only thing I know is you're lucky I'm not kicking your ass to bleed right now".

EMBARRASSMENT - (I think I never shared this one.... this is even BEFORE draft zero....hope it will last editing 🤞)

"Are you leaving....?" Amy can't help but asking. "I'm just passing through" Ashley averts a direct answer. "Where?.." Ashley stops and narrows her eyes like she' contemplates's contemplating on her : "Can't tell you that, I don’t know if you can keep up with tortures!" Amy gasps. Ashley frowns : "Sorry" her voice trails off......
