"It's better to be a warrior in a garden.. than a Gardener in a war".... author unknown But do I get it yes... I'd rather be a BEAST or a Monster and control it.. than be weak or a pacifist with no ability to handle whatever comes at me... #dailyinspiration #dailyquote #authorunknown #warrior #gardener #beast #beastmode #beamonster #noweakness #notapacifist #dpomales #dpomalescreative #dpomlive (at Orlando, Florida) https://www.instagram.com/p/CbIZQCJLZFw/?utm_medium=tumblr

Pull a Tabby
In 2000 at one of my jobs, (at a place called “Fantasy Fare” where I was the resident Domina), to “pull a tabby”, (named of course for yours truly), meant: “to break a customers wrist in one quick motion because he grabbed your breast.”

Batman 301: Part 1:no killing
Okay, we’re starting on the biggie here. Batman. One of the longest standing superheroes. The most featured as far as ongoing series. The most movies made about him. When I talk about Batman, I’m going to reveal my prejudice. Just because he appeared in a comic, does not make him Batman. This guy, for instance, is not Batman:
and in case you were in doubt, it’s followed by this:
yeah.... not Batman.
So I pre-admit that some of my ideas might be contradicted by things he’s done, but I will maintain that the lasting images are pretty universal.
So why doesn’t Batman kill?
I’ve read in more than one place people debating the ‘logic’ of sending the Joker to prison over and over. how this doesn’t meet the sense of Batman as an intelligent man. The greater good is irrefutable. But really, it just means that you don’t understand Batman.
Batman is not the engineer Steel is, he would defer to Dr. Midnight on medical issues, he is, in short, NOT Reed Richards. He is very, very smart. Batman’s intelligence is the intelligence of a detective, he is observant and intuitive. He looks for everything where others focus, and he perceives where others only see.
He is, by his temperament and skills, very introspective!
This is the key to understanding his take on violence. Why he stops himself from killing. Not because there are not people who deserve it, but because he knows what would happen if he started. He knows that he has a better understanding of good and evil than most, and would have no problem acting as Judge and Executioner. He knows it so well that he can never let himself do it. Words spoken about Dr. Who perhaps sum it up best:
When told:
The anger of a good man is not a problem. Good men have too many rules.
He responds:
Good men don't need rules. Today is not the day to find out why I have so many.
Batman couldn’t say it better himself.
He doesn’t avoid killing because of an ideal. He avoids Killing because he doesn’t trust himself to stop.
Next time we’ll examine his relationship with his villains, and in part 3, his allies!
Now you know!

My political views
Everything under the patriachy's umbrella, including all men who write, act out, or draw scripts/books/art that depict violence towards women should be shot. I'm totalitarian in this aspect. I'm looking at you George RR Martin.
