I was wondering if you could do Yandere MHA like how they would treat a chubby reader cause I’m pretty chubby and I’d love that :3
OFC CHUBBY READERS ARE BEAUTIFUL AND DESERVE LOVE TOO!!!
Tumblr media
They would treat you like a God/Goddess! The girls and boys would fight over who gets to hang out with you 1st
Mina would dress you up in cute outfits you are comfortable with (she loves pink and black on you! But she'll dress you up in any way you are comfortable It makes her feel like you're all hers! But you don't know that yet momo would buy the whole mall for you! (She did already) you want that adorable necklace sold! Present for you! Do you wanna go to a hot topic and get all your favorite anime merch? Here you go! You want that new console that just got out a week ago why not get a console that isn't even out yet!? She loves seeing you smile you thought she was a very kind friend when she's just showing you what's it like to be hers and hers only
Tsuyu you take you swimming at times if the pools close somewhere private like a secret majestic garden with just the two of you so nobody with bother you and while you're amazed by the beauty tsuyu admires your beautiful face and figures she just wants to cuddle up on you and pinch your cheeks she couldn't wait to have you all hers~ Jirou comes out aw a tough little tsundere at times but when it comes to you her heart Is melting and she barely, ale complete sentences and she's only soft but a bit of a tsu she would show off her earphone tricks would blush over any outfit you wear (she once saw a bit of your stomach showing and she and the class was flustered and simping)
Izuku is just drawing down everything about you even things you don't even know yourself he offers to walk with you to school (since you his neighbor) and glare at anyone who gives you a look whether be judging or drooling he makes sure that they dont mess whats his bakugo would force you to walk with him saying that damn Deku doesn't know where the bus stop is and would talk about the extras I'm his group
Denki would occasionally flirt with your ur main gamer buddy, but he's personally a geek for manga comics and would rant to you about the latest chapter or one of his favorite characters heck he even imagined you cosplaying one of his favorite characters!!! Oh God dude would be dying thanking the lord for this gift he secretly writes fanfics of his favorite character x and would make their personality similar to yours and make of bunch of fanart of you in a different bunch of outfits he can't wait until he shows it off to you they'll surely win your heart!
Kiri is your hype man and best friend when he saw you smash those villains with a single fist this dude was head over HEELS just overlooking completing how manly you are ugh this dude would be blushing HARD he would rant to his best friend Katsuki about how manly you are and wished he could have muscles like that as well!! If anyone says otherwise or shames you for your body this dude will go protective mode he will make a rant about how Amazing beautiful and manky you are and will start going a bit personal a bit saying how you'll date him and he'll pick you like a royal you are and you'll do the same and marriage and blah blah blah
the person who insulted you just gets scared and runs away which makes that a victory for him!
Iida would always be a guard dog like this dude will protect cute little marshmallow you! He makes sure you eat regularly he never lets you skip a meal if you try he's banging your door with a bento box in his hand with marshmallows he freaks pit over every small scratch bruise and lord don't tell him you broke some of your limbs one time you broke your arm during fighting and he went intonlockdown literally gets a wheelchair and stroll you around (even tho you can CLEARY walk) and make sure you stay in that bed untill your all better see how he's taking care of you he wanted to do this every day to you and only you
Koda is an absolute sweetheart if he sees an animal that looks like you he instantly points it out to you and tells you animal facts and while he is explaining the animals to you his heart can't stop fluttering with butterflies! he can barely stay on topic of the animal while just staring at your adorable puff up face!
The class would compete for anything whether be who gets to sit by you or who have fun with who it's always a competition, threats and a blood bath at training they'll even raised their hand like little hpkids Eagar for a treat and if you choose one of them they'll instantly run to you with a satisfy smirk on their face while the rest of them are pissed off
They loved their darling and they'll do anything to satisfy your needs! Whether it be committing some crimes for you~

what ringtones do you think they’d all have? Last night I had a dream Aizawa’s was ‘im a Barbie girl’ and I haven’t recovered.
Aizawa with barbie girl brings me So much joy that would be hilarious. Although I Do feel like Present Mic would be more of a barbie girl kinda guy and Aizawa would have the keyboard cat song
Uraraka’s the type of person to set different ringtones for different people. All of them are are tailored to the person like a frog croaking for Tsu or an engine revving for Iida. Speaking of which Iida has the default ringtone and its always turned to full volume. Shoto on the other hand exclusively has his phone on vibrate
Momo and Jirou have their ringtones set to whatever their current favorite songs are, usually some sort of pop song and punk song respectively. Bakugou has his on vibrate all the time because he would have to turn it up obnoxiously loud to hear it and he doesnt want other people knowing when hes getting a call. Mina Kaminari Sero and Kirishima have theres set to whatever meme theyre fixated on at the moment
Ojiro has his as Kung Fu Fighting (the song). Koda has his set to different animal noises for different people, usually whatever their favorite animal is. Tokoyami’s is Welcome to the Black Parade

MY OPINIONS ON DIFFERENT TOKOYAMI SHIPS!!!!
TokoTsuyu (Tokoyami x Asui)
• both animal based!!
•teamed up for that one thing of 1A against the teachers and was a good team
•saw a fanfic of these two on ao3 and it made me think of them two more!!
•I see Tsu as a lesbian mostly but none of their sexualities are confirmed (and let’s be real most of them are gonna be straight😰)
Overall: 4/10
BakuToko (Bakugou x Tokoyami)
•I saw a bunch of fics of these two and they were mostly all super good!!
•but y’all I hate bakugou’s character😓 (don’t send me death threats please and thanks!!)
•still though those fics changed my perspective on these ships
•also like super aggressive x super calm is a good trope!!
Overall: 5/10
TokoYama (Tokoyami x Aoyama)
•u guys i’m coming out as a tokoyama shipper!!! :((
•I LIVE for the trope of sun x moon
•also they have so many things in common!! like: both being insecure (I think), both having belly button quirks, both speaking in an unusual way (yuga speaking french and fumi being like gothic and stuff), and having a set aesthetic (yuga being bright and shiny while fumi’s all dark and broody)
•i’ve seen SO MANY cute fics of these two!! one of my personal favourites: Your Love Is Sunlight by Rainy_Day_Lemonade on AO3!!
•most birds are attracted to shiny things!! yuga is a very shiny thing!!
•I imagine yuga stealing fumi’s heart by first making dark shadow warming up to him!!
Overall: 10/10 (MY FAVOURITE MHA SHIP)
KuroYami (Kuroiro x Tokoyami)
•I don’t know much about this ship or kuroiro in general but he seems cool!!
•they’re both like dark-based or gothic!!
•I feel like it would take dark shadow a long time to warm up to kuroiro due to like him controlling him that one time?? I wouldn’t know I skipped past that scene :((
•also!! kuroiro canonically already has a crush and I don’t really like going against canon or anything!! (I like when my delusional mind can at least imagine my ships being possible)
•the opposite of opposites attract😥
Overall: 3/10
TokoKami (Tokoyami x Kaminari)
•i’ve seen like one fic of this and it was super good!!
•also I saw these fanmade mha tweets on tiktok by this person called Az who ships denki and fumi and it was so cute!! like: Denki: Tokoyami keeps giving me rocks what do I do??? (or something like that)
•I don’t know much about denki (or anyone other than fumikage and mina for that matter) but he seems like a good character!!
•I don’t see much of these two though :((
•another sun x moon trope?? maybe?? opposites attract?
•there’s official art of fumikage and denki sitting next to each other and stuff so :))
Overall: 4/10
TokoShoji (Tokoyami x Shoji)
•I had no idea what colour to do for Shoji so I just went blue :((
•anyways my heteromorph boys!!
•I don’t think of these two much but I keep seeing cute fanart of them on pinterest!!
•I think they’re friends in canon??!
•I feel like this would be a possibility like if any of these ships were to happen it’d be either TokoTsuyu or TokoShoji!!
•i’m so sorry but I did almost forget about Shoji entirely (I love the man I really do!! such a gentleman)
•not much to say but I like the height difference!! short x tall!!
Overall: 6/10
TokoJirou (Tokoyami x Jirou)
•this ship could also be a possibility in some far away universe!!
•they had a drama cd together about jirou being scared of ghosts while her and fumikage explored a haunted building of UA and she grabbed onto the hem of his shirt the whole time which was cool!
•they both have cool aesthetics!!
•both play guitar so they could do like duets together or something
•oh em gee I just thought of them doing a cover of that one song where it’s like they’re only human they don’t see” or whatever!! (sorry y’all I barely know that song🤯🤯)
•I prefer either jirou x denki or jirou x momo but tokojirou is fantastic as well!!
•but I also have a slight grudge against jirou for personal reasons..(don’t kill me)
Overall: 6/10
TokoKoda (Tokoyami x Koda)
•both heteromorphs!!
•some people headcanon them as both autistic so that’s cool they can like sympathise with each other!!
•I headcanon fumikage to know sign language so if koda goes non verbal then they can communicate!!
•ALSO. animal based quirk x animal based human!!
•both of their favourite animals are probably birds and I love that
•BUT I don’t know much about koda enough and I don’t see much content of this ship :((
Overall: 3/10
I LOVE ALL SHIPS WITH TOKOYAMI REALLY (except for one..looking at you hawks x tokoyami😟😟) AS LONG AS THEYRE LEGAL AND HEALTHY!!

Been thinking about my life as Zuki a lot lately, so I'm gonna share some more shit about it. This is gonna be a long ass post, lol.
Class 1A was really close in my canon. We were a family [I would use the word pack]. There were 21 of us originally (everyone from the "actual" canon minus Mınət@ who didn't exist as far as I know, lol, and me and one other noncanon 'character' who's name is Hikari Kubo-Mori).
More stuff about how I got along with some other Class 1A students below
A bit after the dorms became a thing, Hitoshi Shinso joined our class. Now, I was always a bit of a 'nerd' when it came to quirks, lol. [Me and Izuku loved to analyze quirks together cause it's very interesting and just awesome to know more about quirks, lol.]
Anyway, I was very into quirk analysis, and Hitoshi's quirk was something that was very interesting and didn't really scare me (guess it comes with having a quirk that scared others and shit). So Hitoshi and I became friends pretty quick after they joined Class 1A cause I was also way more 'into' making friends at that point, lol. [I was also a part of the "I didn't come to make friends" club at first, lol]. Then, a bit later, I got adopted by Aizawa and Present Mic, who had adopted Hitoshi before me, so we became siblings.
I don't know why exactly I brought up Hitoshi first, besides the fact that he's my brother. But I'm gonna be moving on to others now.
Bakugo Katsuki, Izuku Midoriya, and I were all childhood friends. We were actually pretty close before Bakugo got his quirk, I got mine, and Izuku didn't get a quirk. [I'm not really going to go into the whole thing. Just know that for a while, none of us were really friends].
I re-became friends with Izuku at the end of our last middle school year (reminder that in my canon UA was a college type thing). Shit had happened before that made me realize shit. [I was never a bully, but I also never stood up for Izuku like I should've, I had my "reasons," but idc they were kinda dumb and shit but I was a dumb pup at the time].
A bit after the dorms happened, Bakugo found me on the roof of the dorms [don't go there, I liked it cause it was quiet and I could feel the wind on my wings and shit] and asked me a few questions that kinda suprised me at first. The main thing was asking about how it's like with a service dog, how to get over the feeling of not being good enough cause of needing a dog to help, how to deal with others when it comes to service dogs, and stuff like that. Turns out that in a session with Hound Dog, a service dog was suggested to Bakugo because of the training camp and everything. I told him the truth that I still had difficulty with all of the things that having a service dog brings/causes but that I loved Remo so much and was greatful to him. Me and Kats became friends again after that (I called him Kats because when I was younger [and could speak, so I was at least 7], I had trouble with his name so I called him Kats instead).
If you notice, I use both Bakugo and Kats for him, and that's cause I did then as well, lol.
Me and the rest of the Dekusquad that I haven't mentioned already [who I have mentioned already is just Izuku and Hitoshi].
The Dekusquad was mainly known to be: me, Midoriya Izuku/Deku, Uraraka Ochako, Iida Tenya, Todoroki Shouto, Asui Tsuyu/Tsu, Kubo-Mori Hikari, and Shinso Hitoshi [last names then first names]. Though we also had Yaoyorozu Momo, Tokoyami Fumikage, and Aoyama Yuga.
Some people I use last names more and some I use first names more. It's mainly based on how close I was to them specifically and which is easier for me. Like with Momo, it's easier with her first name than her last name, lol. But it's easier for me to use Tokoyami rather than their first name.
Now, with the Bakusquad, lol.
The Bakusquad was: Bakugo Katsuki, Kirishima Eijirou, Kaminari Denki, Sero Hanta, Ashido Mina, and Jirou Kyouka.
I already talked about Kats. So, with the rest of the Bakusquad, I was pretty close with all of them. I was not as close to Sero, not for any reason, I just didn't hang with him a lot.
Despite being close to Jirou, I tend to use her last name cause it's easier for me, lol. Same with Kiri.
Mina and Denki were the first of the Bakusquad to give me permission to use their first names, which is what I mainly use for them.
It terms of the overall class [not including Izuku and Bakugo ofc], the first one to give permission for their first name/a nickname to be used to me was actually Hikari, the second is ofc Tsu.
There are definitely people I didn't mention here. It's not cause of any reason, I've just already gone on for a while, so this is it for this post for now. I'll probably reblog if I want to add anything later, lol.

Hi Sapphic
Who are your 10 favourite MHA characters?
OKAYY SOOO HERE
Ochako (she's my princess, I adore her, she has so much potential and could have been honed better, but all in all I adore her, she's a cutie.)
Momo (Momo used to be my number one but I guess that since I actually have to put character for her to be my number one)
Jirou (She's in my top, I loved her back in 2020 but she kinda got overrated but that never stopped me from liking her, I like ber musical aligned backstory I'm sad about the missing jack though, I love hero too)
Shoto (Cutie, I love him throughout his journey I have Todoroki rewritten in my thoughts so I love him even more, I think he deserves better, he never really stood out to me then but he's come around.)
Tsu, I like her now, I mean she's cool, her abilities are cool and her episodes are just as interesting, she tries to be responsible and sweet at the same time and I adore that, but I never really cared for her until This year.
Hagakure, I didn't like her at all, I always thought she was the traitor or at least the traitor in charge because I wouldn't put it past anyone to do it or accuse her but she's beautiful and an absolute sweetheart, I relate to her more now I just didn't like her that much.
Mina, It came with the 2020 thing, I didn't like the bakusquad or anything and I iust didn't care much for Mina as I do sort of now, I don't hate her, she never stood out to me, which is weird because she's adorable but I think it's her design that I don't like and that'd make sense since I like to look at an appearance and be interested.
Nejire, another princess except she was done dirty and I think her story ending should be in hell, why give Nejire a story later on only to give her a beauty pageant where as her male Bestfriends, counterparts, EQUALS got back stories and how they trust in each other so much and one looks up to the other.
Ibara Shiozaki, I love her I think the fact she's only a comedic character who has a cool ass ability, cool vibe, is only used for being a side character to get handled by other characters, I think it's fucking stupid, she's AMAZING and could have been done amazing, but noooo
Fuyumi, I don't like how she has to be the only one wanting to accept her father and be a family with him along with their mom who was abused and her baby brother who was physically abused and her brothers who were neglected and one was dead by being neglected and I think it's annoying because why is Fuyumi the only one who wants to play savior in the family only for this part of her to be given to Shoto instead, it's stupid, absolutely stupid, stop making Fuyumi have to be so I wanna help my family only to not be the hero of said family, give actual motivation, actual reason aside from wanting to be a normal family, it makes her look annoying to those who hate Endeavor and think she's trying to advocate for him instead of her just wanting to be around a normal family, why not show an episode, we are told how she feels but just because she feels this way we're never given actual insight.

Good Luck, Babe!
Momo Yaoyorozu x Jirou Kyouka
Tumblr media
Summary: In the years following their graduation from UA, Momo Yaoyorozu and Kyouka Jiro struggle with unspoken feelings while running a hero agency together. Misunderstandings arise when Momo's accidental kiss with Shoto Todoroki sparks rumors, leading to Jiro's brief fling with Denki Kaminari. Momo and Todoroki's engagement announcement on Christmas Eve further strains their bond, culminating in an emotional performance by Jiro at a holiday party. Day's later, Momo leaves to start a new agency with Todoroki, and both women reflect on their regrets.

On with the Show!!~
______________________________________________________________
It was finally Senior year.
The battle had ended, but the scars of war remained etched in their hearts. Class 1-A sat in their familiar classroom, the air tinged with anticipation as they awaited Aizawa's arrival. Senior year had begun, marking a new phase in their journey as heroes. Aizawa's entrance was as understated as ever, his tired eyes sweeping over the class before settling on the whiteboard.
"It’s your final year," Aizawa began, his voice cutting through the quiet chatter. "You've all come a long way, but don't let that get to your heads. The hero world has changed, and your next steps will determine your futures. Stay focused, serious, and remember, your actions reflect on your efforts."
He paused, letting the weight of his words sink in before nodding towards Momo and Iida, who stood ready with stacks of papers.
"Yaoyorozu, Iida, distribute the agency lists."
As Momo and Iida moved through the rows, handing out papers detailing agencies seeking new recruits, the class buzzed with excitement and nervous energy. Hero Agencies were reaching out left and right, some even going as far to campus grounds to personally recruit the young heroes. Discussions erupted about which agencies to consider, what specialties to pursue, and how their hero personas would evolve in the coming year.
At Momo's desk, Jiro leaned in, their heads close as they scanned through the list of agencies. "Can you believe how many recruitments we've been offered?" Jiro remarked, a half-smile playing on her lips. "Maybe we should just start our own agencies. We're practically celebrities now."
Momo chuckled softly, but there was a contemplative gleam in her eyes. The idea, initially joked about, lingered in the air as a possibility worth considering.
Tsu and Mina joined them, their cheerful voices adding to the lively atmosphere. "Isn't it crazy how much the media has shaped our lives these past few years?" Tsu commented with a wry grin, remembering some of the more absurd incidents they'd witnessed.
"Yeah, like when Midoria stopped traffic to help turtles cross the road," Mina added, giggling. "Or when Bakugou slipped on those hotdogs during a chase!"
Laughter rippled through the classroom, easing the tension of senior year's expectations. But Momo's demeanor shifted slightly when Todoroki's name was mentioned in passing.
Tsu noticed the change. "Hey, Momo, everything okay?" she asked with a hint of concern.
Mina chimed in, her tone teasing. "Oh, is it because you and Todoroki are the new favorite media ‘couple?’"
Jiro's smile faltered imperceptibly at the mention of coupling. While she cherished her friendship with Momo, jealousy gnawed at her heart.  a feeling she struggled to define or admit even to herself amidst their shared successes.
Momo caught the shift in Jiro's demeanor, her own thoughts wandering. "It's not just about the media," Momo said quietly, drawing Jiro's attention. "I admire Todoroki's dedication and skill, but..."
Her voice trailed off, uncertainty clouding her expression. Jiro's gaze softened, sensing Momo's unspoken turmoil. The weight of senior year's expectations, coupled with their evolving relationships and public scrutiny, cast a shadow over their once carefree camaraderie.
As Tsu and Mina continued chatting animatedly, Jiro glanced at Momo, who seemed lost in thought. A pang of uncertainty gripped Jiro's chest. “Hey, how about we get away this weekend? Just you and me and the sun?” Momo instantly perked up at this. “I would love that.”
They had planned an outing to the beach, a simple escape to relieve the mounting stress of hero training and media scrutiny.
Under the bright afternoon sun, they strolled along the shoreline, bare feet sinking into the warm sand. Momo's laughter carried on the breeze as she bent down to pick a vibrant cluster of wildflowers, her smile radiant against the backdrop of the azure sea.
Jiro grinned, her own worries momentarily forgotten as she teased Momo about her flower-picking technique. "You're supposed to gently twist them from the stem, not yank them out like you're battling a villain," she quipped, earning a playful swat from Momo.
They settled on a secluded spot, spreading out a blanket under the shade of a sturdy palm tree. Momo unpacked a picnic basket while Jiro stretched out lazily, soaking in the tranquility of the moment.
Momo's fingers danced over the contents of the basket, revealing an array of sandwiches and snacks she had meticulously prepared earlier that morning. "Hope you're hungry," she said with a grin, handing Jiro a sandwich wrapped in wax paper.
Jiro accepted it with a grateful nod, settling back onto the blanket. "Thanks, Mo. You didn't have to go all out like this."
Momo shrugged modestly, her cheeks tinged with a faint blush. "You know I can’t resist."
As they ate, their conversation meandered through lighter topics—class gossip, plans for the upcoming summer break, and the absurdities of hero life captured by the media.
“I felt so bad for Kirishima when he called himself ‘The Rock Hard Hero’ and everyone ran with it.”
“That was pretty bad. How about when that reporter accidentally knocked over Toru because he didn’t see her?”
Their laughter echoed in the distance, mingling with the sound of crashing waves. Jiro glanced over at Momo, noticing the way her friend's smile faltered slightly at the mention of Todoroki.
"You okay?" Jiro asked softly, nudging Momo's foot with her own under the blanket.
Momo's gaze drifted to the horizon, a thoughtful expression crossing her features. "Yeah, just thinking about what Aizawa said earlier. Senior year and all that—it's starting to hit home."
Jiro nodded in understanding, sensing the weight of their impending decisions about future agencies and careers. "We've come a long way since our first day at UA."
Momo chuckled softly. "Tell me about it. Remember when we thought making it through the entrance exam was the hardest part?"
"Yeah," Jiro agreed with a wistful smile. "And now we're choosing agencies and figuring out the rest of our lives."
Their conversation drifted into a comfortable silence, punctuated only by the distant cries of seagulls and the gentle rustling of palm fronds in the breeze. Jiro leaned back, her eyes drifting shut as she savored the rare tranquility.
“Hey,”
“Yeah?”
“I have something to ask you..”
The peace shattered abruptly as Momo's phone rang, startling them both out of their reverie. Todoroki's name flashed on the screen, and Momo's expression shifted from relaxation to concern.
"It's Todoroki," she murmured, her voice laced with reluctance as she answered the call.
Jiro watched quietly as Momo's shoulders tensed, her gaze fixed on the horizon as she listened intently to the details of a villain they had apprehended together. A trial was approaching, and Momo's testimony was crucial.
"It’s okay. I'll come with you," Jiro offered quietly, sensing Momo's hesitation to leave their impromptu escape. "Thank you, I’m sorry. Here, I'll drive," Momo replied, packing up their things with practiced efficiency.
Once in the car, Jiro sighed and glanced at the clear blue sky above them. "Mind if I open the sunroof? I want to soak in a few more minutes of this sunshine."
Momo smiled softly, nodding in agreement. "Go ahead."
With a few taps, the sunroof slid open, flooding the car with warmth and light. Jiro climbed up, stretching out beneath the open sky with a contented sigh. Spreading her arms out on either side of her, she could feel the wind tousle her hair as Momo turned on the radio, filling the car with a familiar tune.
Momo's voice joined the music softly, her eyes fixed on the road ahead as she sang along. Jiro closed her eyes, letting the melody wash over her, momentarily forgetting the impending trial and the complexities of their lives.
It's fine, it's cool
You can say that we are nothing, but you know the truth
And guess I'm the fool
With her arms out like an angel through the car sunroof
The weather shifted subtly, gray clouds rolling in to obscure the once brilliant sun. Jiro watched the changing sky, a sense of melancholy tugging at her heart. She hugged herself instinctively, crossing her arms over her chest for comfort as the warmth dissipated.
"Momo, do you think it'll rain?" Jiro called out over the wind rushing through the sunroof.
Momo glanced up at the darkening sky, her voice carrying a hint of regret. "Maybe. You should come inside soon."
Reluctantly, Jiro nodded, closing the sunroof as they approached the courthouse. The echoes of their carefree afternoon faded with each passing mile, replaced once more by the weight of their responsibilities as heroes.
The courthouse waiting room hummed with a subdued energy as Jiro sat, absently doodling music notes in her notebook. The soft scratch of her pencil on paper was the only sound until another voice broke through her thoughts.
"Hey, Jiro! Fancy seeing you here," Denki's cheerful voice rang out, drawing Jiro's attention. He strolled into the room with an easy grin, his presence injecting a welcome dose of levity into the tense atmosphere.
Jiro's lips curved into a smile as she closed her notebook, tucking it protectively under her arm. "Hey, Denki. Just here waiting for Momo. What are you doing here?"
Denki shrugged nonchalantly, leaning against the wall beside her. "Oh, you know, the usual. Villains, trials, the works. But I see you've been writing new music. Anything you can share?"
Jiro's cheeks warmed with a hint of embarrassment. "Not yet. It's still a work in progress."
Denki nodded understandingly. "Fair enough. I can't wait to hear it when it's ready."
Their conversation was interrupted by a soft, familiar voice drifting from the hallway. "Baby, you're such a sweetheart," Momo cooed, her tone filled with affection.
What-
Jiro's curiosity piqued, and she stood up, motioning for Denki to follow her. He trailed after her, looking slightly puzzled but intrigued.
Peering around the corner, Jiro spotted Momo standing with Todoroki and a woman Jiro assumed was his sister, who cradled a small cat in her arms. The shelter had called Todoroki's sister to ask if he could take in the stray they had found, as no one else wanted to adopt him.
After Todoroki's sister finished explaining about the cat, Todoroki stood there quietly, his demeanor composed as ever. Momo, however, detected a subtle shift in his expression, one that spoke of a quiet satisfaction beneath his stoic exterior.
"He seems to like him," Momo's face lit up with a gentle smile as she reached out to stroke the cat's fur. "Look at him! He's such a baby!" she remarked fondly.
Todoroki's expression softened imperceptibly, though his demeanor remained cool and composed. "We'll take him to the vet first thing tomorrow. Thanks for bringing him over, sis," he said, grateful.
“And thank you for showing up so quickly for the trial, Yaoyorozu."
“No worries, Todoroki.”
Todoroki nodded in acknowledgment before turning to Jiro with a polite nod. "Sorry for interrupting your time together."
Jirou waved off his apology with a good-natured smile. "It's fine, really."
Denki sidled up beside Jiro, grinning at the sight of the cat. "Aw, he's adorable! What's his name?"
Todoroki's sister chuckled softly. "He doesn't have one yet. We'll figure that out soon."
“Good luck with the cat!"
Denki, who had been listening with interest, chimed in cheerfully. "Yeah, good luck! Cats are awesome."
Todoroki's sister smiled warmly at them all. "Thank you. Have a good night, everyone."
With that, Todoroki and his sister bid farewell, disappearing down the hallway together.
Jirou watched them go with a thoughtful expression before turning to Momo, who was still gently stroking the cat. "That was unexpected."
Momo chuckled softly. "Yeah, it was. But I guess saving cats is part of Jirou a hero too."
Jiro nodded in agreement, a small smile playing on her lips. "Definitely."
As they headed back to their seats in the waiting room, Denki checked his phone and grinned. "Jiro like Sero's calling me. I should catch up with him. See you later, Jiro, Momo!"
He waved goodbye and hurried off down the hallway, leaving Jirou and Momo alone once more.
Momo glanced at Jiro, her expression thoughtful. "Ready to head out?"
Jiro nodded, falling into step beside her friend as they made their way through the courthouse, their thoughts drifting back to the evening's unexpected encounter with Todoroki.
Jiro ears perked up, “Is Sero with you?”
Denki nodded, flashing a smile. “Yeah, he’s here. Hey man, where did you go?”
A voice echoed down the hallway, “Over yonder!”
Denki laughed, and with a slight wave of his hand, called out, “Sero, over here!”
Sero jogged over, greeting the girls with a warm smile. “Hello, ladies,” he said, his tone friendly and upbeat.
They all made their way out of the courthouse and into the well-lit parking lot. The night air was cool, and the lights above cast a soft glow on the concrete. When they reached Momo's car, Denki turned to Jirou, giving her a fist bump. “Catch you later,” he said with a grin, then waved to Momo. “Goodnight, Momo!”
Sero nodded, adding his own goodbye. “Have a good night, you two.” With a playful glint in their eyes, Denki and Sero dashed off, running the short distance across the parking lot to Sero’s car.
Jiro and Momo couldn’t help but giggle at the sight. Just as they were about to get into their own car, Jirou’s phone lit up with Denki’s name. She answered it, laughter still in her voice. “Hey, Denki. What’s up?”
Denki’s voice came through the speaker, feigning fear. “Don’t laugh, Kyouka! It’s scary out here. Who’s gonna protect me?”
Jiro rolled her eyes, still chuckling. “You’re both pro heroes!” she exclaimed, amused by their antics.
Sero’s laughter could be heard in the background, and he chimed in with a teasing tone. “Don’t worry, baby.~ I’ll be your savior of the night!”
As she spoke, she and Momo could see Sero’s car rocking back and forth. The silhouettes inside showed the two boys play-fighting, their laughter and mock screams filling the air.
Jiro shook her head, smiling at the playful scene. “Those two are unbelievable.”
Momo nodded, her own smile wide. “Definitely.”
Momo and Jiro were breathless from laughter, tears streaming down their faces as they heard Denki’s voice over the phone. “I SAID GET AWAY FROM ME, BRO!” he yelled.
“I’LL PROTECT YOU, PAPI CHULO!” Sero’s voice boomed in response, causing a fit of screaming from the girls.
Momo managed to start the car, still chuckling, and drove up to the boys. They saw Sero making exaggerated kissy faces at Denki, who was brandishing a water bottle like a weapon. Momo rolled down her window, and Sero did the same.
“Hello, ladies,” Sero greeted with mock formality. “Fine night we’re having. How may we help you?”
Denki, making desperate faces, silently pleaded for help. Momo smirked, playing along. “Oh, just enjoying the view. Seems like you’re having quite the adventure.”
“Oh, you know,” Sero replied, winking. “Just a regular night of hero business. Keeping the streets safe.”
As Denki tried to make his escape, Sero noticed and quickly locked the doors. Denki, undeterred, threw himself out of the window. Sero, mid-banter with Momo, exclaimed, “Oh no, you don’t, Pookie!” He lunged to grab Denki’s legs, but Denki wriggled free, kicking and screaming.
Denki managed to drop out of the window, landing with a thud on the pavement. He scrambled to his feet and darted behind Sero’s car, then, with surprising agility, jumped onto the roof of Momo’s car. “DRIVE, DAMN IT, DRIVE!” he shouted, pounding on the roof.
Momo, barely able to contain her laughter, floored it. Jirou, still giggling, reached up and pulled Denki in through the sunroof. Sero, not to be outdone, started his car and followed them, waving something out of his window as he drove.
Denki tumbled into the backseat, breathless and grinning. “Thanks for the save,” he panted.
Jirou quirked an eyebrow at him, noting his attire. “Really?” she asked, smirking. Denki, now blushing, was clad in nothing but his ironic Pikachu boxers.
“They were on sale!” he protested, trying to look dignified.
Momo slowed down, shaking her head in amusement. “You’re unbelievable, Denki.”
As they pulled up to Sero’s car, Sero rolled down his window. “You can always come back babe!~”
“Shut the fuck up!”
“Calm down Bakugou!”
He called, laughing as Denki dove headfirst through the window and into the passenger seat, snatching his pants. “Damn Kaminari, Back that ass up!” Jiro realized she was crying as she wiped her eyes and tried to breathe.
“Don’t worry, ladies,” Sero said, still laughing. “We’ve got him under control. Have a good night!”
Momo and Jiro waved, still laughing, as they drove away.
As Momo drove away, the laughter from their escapade with Denki and Sero slowly faded, leaving a comfortable silence between her and Jiro. The night air was cool, and the rhythmic hum of the engine provided a soothing backdrop.
Jiro glanced at Momo, her expression thoughtful. "You know," she started, her voice soft, "tonight was fun. It's good to laugh like that."
Momo smiled, but it didn't quite reach her eyes. "Yeah, it was. We needed that." She kept her gaze on the road, but Jiro could sense something was on her mind.
"Hey, Momo," Jiro said, leaning back in her seat. "Have you ever thought about what happens after all this? Like, after we graduate?"
Momo's grip tightened on the steering wheel. "I try not to think too far ahead. There's so much happening now... it's overwhelming sometimes."
Jiro nodded, understanding. "I get it. But... what about us?"
Momo glanced at her, a flicker of confusion crossing her face. "Us?"
"Yeah, I mean... our friendship. It's not exactly... conventional, is it?" Jiro's heart pounded as she spoke, her feelings hanging in the balance.
Momo sighed, her eyes softening. "No, it's not. But I don't think I'd want it any other way." She reached over and took Jiro's hand, squeezing it gently. "We've been through so much together. You've always been there for me, Jiro."
Jiro's heart swelled at Momo's words. "And you for me. I guess... I just worry sometimes. About what might change."
Momo's gaze returned to the road, her expression contemplative. "Change is inevitable, but some things... some things can last." She turned to Jiro, a small smile playing on her lips. "Like us."
Jiro felt a warmth spread through her chest, a reassurance she hadn't realized she needed. "Forever?"
"Always," Momo replied, her voice firm yet tender.
They drove off into the night, their hands clasped together, finding comfort in the unspoken promise between them. The future was uncertain, but in that moment, they had each other, and that was enough.
I don't wanna call it off
But you don't wanna call it love
You only wanna be the one that I call "baby"
A few years had passed since that unforgettable night. Everyone had graduated and settled into their hero lives. Jiro and Momo had followed through with their plan, starting their own agency. However, as time went on, the demands of their careers had made it increasingly difficult to spend time together. The spark that once defined their friendship seemed to have dimmed.
Jiro still continued to make music and after one of Jiro's gigs, they found themselves at a bar, slamming down drinks. The atmosphere was different, a tension lingering in the air. The television above the bar blared with a news report about a recent villain takedown by Momo and Todoroki, and the dating rumors surrounding them were more rampant than ever.
Jiro took a sip of her drink, glancing at the screen. "They're really going all out with this, huh?" she remarked, her tone light but her eyes betraying her concern.
Momo sighed, her fingers drumming against her glass. "Yeah, it's been exhausting. I don't like all the negative attention, and my family is starting to pressure me into pursuing a relationship."
Jiro frowned, feeling a pang of jealousy and protectiveness. "That's not fair. You shouldn't have to deal with that."
Momo shrugged, her expression weary. "It's part of the job, I suppose. But it feels like... like they're trying to define my life for me."
Jiro nodded, understanding all too well. "I get it. Sometimes it feels like we're just playing roles, not living our own lives."
Momo looked at Jiro, her eyes searching. "Do you ever feel like that? Like we're holding back?"
Jiro hesitated, then nodded. "Yeah, I do. It's like there's this invisible barrier between us now. We're not the same as we used to be."
Momo's gaze softened. "I miss how things used to be, Jiro. When it was just us against the world."
Jiro reached out, placing a hand over Momo's. "Me too. But maybe we can find a way back to that. We just have to be honest with each other."
Momo nodded, squeezing Jiro's hand. "You're right. We've been through too much together to let this drift apart."
Jiro looked at Momo with concern, her brow furrowing. "Have you tried telling them you don't have time?"
Momo nodded, frustration evident in her eyes. "I have, but they don't believe me. Especially since I continued to go to school and got my Doctorate in Justice last year."
Jiro took a sip of her drink, the liquid burning slightly as it went down. "Do you have feelings for Todoroki?" she asked softly, her voice barely audible over the background noise.
Momo shook her head, her expression conflicted. "I'm not really sure. It seems like we work together more than ever, but I don't know if it's more than that."
Jiro reached out, placing a comforting hand on Momo's. For the first time in a long while, it felt like they were really talking, getting back into that old familiar flow. They shared their thoughts and feelings openly, bridging the gap that had grown between them.
Just as the conversation deepened, the door to the bar swung open, and Todoroki walked in. His presence was a stark contrast to the intimate setting, his icy demeanor drawing a few glances. “Oh, he’s our driver for tonight.” Momo, having had a few drinks, tried to get down from her stool to greet him. Her vision blurred slightly, and she stumbled, her body slipping off the barstool.
"Whoa, careful there," Jiro started, but before she could react, Todoroki moved to catch Momo. In a clumsy attempt to steady her, their lips accidentally met. Jiro, who was paying the tab, missed the mishap.
Jiro turned back just in time to see Todoroki helping Momo stand up, her cheeks flushed from both the alcohol and the embarrassment. "She's never had more than two cups of wine," Jiro commented, trying to lighten the mood with a chuckle.
As they left the bar, the cool night air wrapped around them. They held hands as they walked to the car, the city lights casting a soft glow on their intertwined fingers as Todoroki trailed quietly behind them.
Outside, Jiro helped Momo into Todoroki’s car, her heart heavy with an unspoken concern. "Forever?" Jiro asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
"Always," Momo replied, their hands finding each other in a familiar grip. The ride back was quiet but comfortable, both lost in their thoughts with Shoto at the wheel.
Unbeknownst to them, undercover paparazzi had been lurking in the bar, their cameras capturing the incident from various angles. The flash of a camera went unnoticed amidst the dim lighting and bustling atmosphere.
The next morning, the news outlets were plastered with shots of Momo and Todoroki kissing, the headlines sensationalizing their hero names and suggesting a romantic involvement. The photos made it look like Todoroki was lifting Momo up for a kiss, the narrative spiraling out of control.
You can kiss a hundred boys in bars
Shoot another shot, try to stop the feeling
You can say it's just the way you are
Make a new excuse, another stupid reason
The aftermath of the incident hit hard. Everyone associated with Momo, including Jiro, and their agency (including Tsuyu and Mina), found themselves under relentless harassment. The media frenzy had become unbearable, and Momo was beside herself with frustration and despair. She couldn’t just cry and lay it all out on national TV, but hiding from her family and friends wasn't an option either.
At their shared agency office, the atmosphere was tense. Momo sat at her desk, her hands trembling as she read through another barrage of accusatory messages and intrusive questions from the press. She felt trapped, unable to find a way out of this mess. Her mind drifted back to the conversation she had with Jiro at the bar, the one time she felt they were truly reconnecting. Now, it seemed like a cruel joke.
Tsuyu and Mina were there too, trying their best to comfort Momo. Tsuyu placed a gentle hand on Momo's shoulder, her voice soothing. "Momo-chan, we're here for you, kero. We'll get through this together."
Jiro, on the other hand, was equally distraught. She watched Momo from a distance, feeling a deep ache in her chest.
The conversation they had seemed meaningless now, overshadowed by the scandal. Jiro wanted to be there for Momo, but she felt hurt and confused. The media's portrayal of Momo and Todoroki together made her feel like an outsider, like their moment of connection had been erased.
Mina, with her characteristic energy, tried to lift the mood. "Yeah, Momo! Screw those reporters. They don't know the real you. We're a team, and we've got your back!"
Despite their efforts, Momo couldn't shake off the despair. She managed a weak smile, grateful for their support, but the weight of the situation was crushing. Jiro, unable to bear the pain any longer, slipped away to the bathroom. She locked the door behind her and sank to the floor, letting the tears flow freely.
She felt guilty for not being able to be strong for Momo, for not being able to handle the situation better. She wanted to support her, but her own feelings of hurt and betrayal were overwhelming.
"I just need some air," Jiro whispered to herself, wiping her tears away. She pulled out her phone and hesitated for a moment before calling Denki. His cheerful voice on the other end brought a slight comfort.
"Hey Jiro! What's up?" Denki's voice was a mix of concern and warmth.
"Denki, can we hang out? I just need to get away for a bit," Jiro said, trying to keep her voice steady.
"Of course, Kyouka. Where do you want to meet?" Denki replied without hesitation.
"Anywhere but here," Jiro sighed, feeling a bit lighter knowing that Denki would be there for her.
They decided to meet at a quiet cafĂŠ they used to frequent during their school days. Jiro took a deep breath, composed herself, and left the bathroom. She told Momo, Tsuyu, and Mina she needed to step out for a while. Momo looked at her with tired eyes but nodded, understanding that Jiro needed some space.
Months had passed since the scandal broke out, and the dust had started to settle. Everyone at the agency had been pushing through their work, trying to maintain a sense of normalcy. One evening, after everyone else had left the office, Jiro and Momo found themselves alone, sharing a rare moment of quiet together.
They sat across from each other, the silence filled with unspoken words. Jiro, twirling a pen between her fingers, finally broke the silence. "Momo, if you were thinking about doing anything crazy, you'd tell me, right?"
Momo looked up, a faint, sad smile playing on her lips. "Of course, Kyouka."
But the next day, everything changed. Momo and Todoroki announced their official relationship in the media, sparking a whirlwind of attention. Jiro felt a sharp pang of betrayal and hurt. She couldn't understand why Momo hadn't confided in her.
At the office, Jiro confronted Momo, her voice trembling with emotion. "Why didn't you tell me, Momo? You said you would."
Momo looked uncomfortable, her eyes avoiding Jiro's. "It just happened."
Jiro took a deep breath, trying to keep her emotions in check. "Do you like him?"
"What? Of course I do," Momo replied, her confusion evident.
"No," Jiro pressed, her voice more insistent. "I mean, do you actually like him? Like, do you like him in the way you like a friend? Or do you like him the way you like me?"
Momo's eyes widened, and she looked taken aback. The question hung heavy in the air between them, laden with years of unspoken feelings and unresolved emotions.
"Mo, answer me," Jiro said softly, her voice barely above a whisper.
Momo's expression softened, and she looked away, unable to meet Jiro's gaze. "I... I don't know. I admire him, and I respect him. But..."
"But what, Momo?" Jiro's voice was filled with a mixture of hope and despair.
"But I don't know if I feel the same way about him as I did about you," Momo admitted, her voice breaking.
Jiro felt a lump form in her throat. "Then why, Mo? Why didn't you tell me?"
Momo sighed, running a hand through her hair. "Because I thought... I thought it might be better this way. Less complicated. I wanted to try to move on."
"Move on from what?" Jiro asked, her voice trembling.
"From us," Momo whispered, her eyes glistening with unshed tears.
The weight of Momo's words hit Jiro hard. The conversation halted, it felt like they were both walking on eggshells, afraid to say too much or too little.
“Oh.”
In the weeks that followed, their interactions became increasingly strained and limited to work-related matters. The easy camaraderie and bond they had once shared were now overshadowed by a lingering sense of betrayal and unresolved feelings. Both women struggled to navigate the new dynamic, the spark that once lit up their friendship now reduced to a flicker.
And so, they drifted apart, each carrying the weight of what could have been, their hearts heavy with unspoken words and lost opportunities. The world moved on, but the pain of that night and the choices made lingered, a silent reminder of a bond that had been shattered and could never be the same again.
Good luck, babe (well, good luck), well, good luck, babe (well, good luck)
You'd have to stop the world just to stop the feeling
Good luck, babe (well, good luck), well, good luck, babe (well, good luck)
You'd have to stop the world just to stop the feeling
Jiro stood beneath the warm spray of the shower, the steam curling around her. Her mind raced with thoughts of what had just transpired with Denki, their passionate encounter leaving her conflicted and raw. Droplets of water cascaded down her skin, but they couldn't wash away the turmoil inside.
As she dried her hair, she muttered softly to herself, a bitter acknowledgment of the complexities in her life. The affair with Denki was intense, bordering on the kind of emotion that was both exhilarating and daunting.
"It's not fair," she whispered, her voice barely audible over the sound of the bathroom vent. She leaned against the counter, staring at herself in the mirror. Despite the steam, her reflection looked back at her with uncertainty.
Jiro wrapped the towel tighter around herself and moved to their shared office with Momo, keeping the door closed. The atmosphere between them had been tense lately, not just because of her newfound intimacy with Denki, but also because of unspoken emotions lingering between her and Momo.
I'm clichĂŠ, who cares?
It's a sexually explicit kind of love affair
And I cry, it's not fair
I just need a little lovin', I just need a little air
"Think I'm gonna call it off," Jiro murmured to herself, her fingers tracing absent patterns on the tv remote. She glanced at the news as a  pang of nostalgia and guilt tug at her heart. She liked Denki, enjoyed his company, but the weight of commitment felt heavy on her shoulders.
"I just need someone,” she admitted softly, sinking into the couch. Her thoughts drifted to Momo and Todoroki, their recent announcement and the media frenzy that followed. Jiro felt a twinge of jealousy and longing, missing the raven haired woman.
Her eyes welled with tears as she closed them, the room around her feeling suffocatingly silent. Again, thoughts of Denki filled her mind. Jiro was a hypocrite. She knew it, she didn’t like him the way she liked Momo, she loved Momo.
Maybe in time she could learn to love him? Jiro needed clarity, to untangle the threads of her heart and find where her true feelings lay. For now, she was adrift in a sea of uncertainty, longing for someone who could understand her deeply and love her, through it all.
Think I'm gonna call it off
Even if you call it love
I just wanna love someone who calls me "baby"
Seven months had slipped by in a blur of missions, paperwork, and lingering tensions at the agency. Christmas Eve arrived with a bitter chill that matched the frostiness in Jiro's heart. The news of Todoroki and Momo's engagement had swept through the hero community like a sudden storm, leaving everyone stunned by its swiftness. What had begun as rumors weeks ago was now reality—a reality that Jiro struggled to accept.
The media frenzy was relentless. Cameras flashed outside the agency, reporters clamored for interviews, and speculations ran wild. "Is there a little hero on the way?" the headlines teased, igniting a firestorm of gossip and intrusive inquiries. Todoroki, ever stoic, shut down those rumors with a terse statement, but the scrutiny only intensified. Security at the agency was bolstered to keep the paparazzi at bay, leaving everyone on edge.
In the midst of this chaos, Momo wore a ring that sparkled conspicuously on her finger—a ring the size of a large strawberry, a testament to the seriousness of their relationship. It was a sight Jiro couldn't bear to see, each glint of the diamond weighing heavily on her heart.
On Christmas Eve, the agency was quieter than usual. The decorations twinkled half-heartedly in the dimmed lights, and the usual festive cheer felt forced. Jiro found herself lingering in the common area, avoiding the jubilant celebrations happening elsewhere in the building. She nursed a cup of lukewarm cocoa, its sweetness a stark contrast to the bitter taste in her mouth.
She glanced at Momo's office door, closed as it had been for weeks now. The distance between them had grown, a gulf widening with each passing day since that night at the bar. They had spoken about their feelings, about the complexities of their relationship, but it hadn't brought them closer—it had only highlighted the rift that had formed.
A knock at the door pulled Jiro from her thoughts. Tsuyu and Mina stood in the doorway, their expressions a mix of concern and tentative hope. Tsuyu's calm demeanor contrasted with Mina's more animated worry.
"Jiro, are you okay?" Tsuyu asked softly, her voice a soothing balm against Jiro's turmoil.
Jiro managed a weak smile. "Yeah, just... processing," she replied, her voice betraying more than she intended. Mina stepped forward, her concern palpable. "It's tough, I know," she said gently, her hand reaching out to touch Jiro's arm in a gesture of comfort.
Jiro sighed, looking down at her cocoa. "I never thought... I just..." She struggled to find the words, the ache in her chest tightening with each syllable.
Tsuyu nodded understandingly. "Sometimes, things change in ways we never expect," she offered quietly.
Mina nodded in agreement. "And it hurts, especially when you care so deeply."
Silence hung in the air, heavy with unspoken emotions. Jiro's gaze drifted to Momo's closed door again, a pang of longing mingling with regret. She had missed her friend, missed their easy camaraderie, missed the warmth of their shared moments.
"I just don't understand why she didn't tell me," Jiro whispered finally, her voice cracking with emotion. "I thought... I thought we were past keeping secrets."
Tsuyu placed a comforting hand on Jiro's shoulder. "Maybe she didn't know how to say it," she suggested gently. "Or maybe she was afraid of how you'd react."
Jiro sighed heavily, her shoulders slumping. "Maybe," she murmured, her gaze fixed on the ring-less finger gripping the cup.
The Christmas lights flickered above them, casting gentle shadows across the room. Outside, snow began to fall, softening the harsh edges of the cityscape beyond the windows.
"Whatever happens," Mina said softly, her voice breaking the silence, "you know we're here for you, Jiro. We'll get through this together."
Jiro managed a small nod, grateful for their support even as uncertainty gnawed at her heart. She took a deep breath, steeling herself against the ache, against the questions that lingered unanswered.
As the night wore on, Jiro found herself alone in the quiet office, her thoughts drifting to what lay ahead. The Christmas tree shimmered in the corner, a symbol of hope amid the shadows. Yet, as the clock struck midnight, all she could see was the glint of that oversized ring, a reminder of everything that had changed—and everything that would never be the same again.
--
Christmas had arrived and with it, the day of Momo and Todoroki's wedding. Snow cast a fragile veil of cheer over the city. Despite the bitter cold outside, the grand hall they booked out was warm with festive lights and laughter. It was meant to be a night of celebration, of camaraderie among friends and colleagues, yet for Jirou, the weight of recent events hung heavy on her heart.
The morning sun streamed through the windows of the bridal suite with a brilliance that felt almost cruel to Jirou, casting a golden glow over everything it touched. Jirou stood by Momo’s side, her heart heavy yet proud, her bittersweet smile barely masking the turmoil within. As Momo slipped on the perfect white dress, spinning slowly to admire herself in the mirror, Jirou felt an ache so deep it almost stole her breath.
Momo was breathtaking. Her hair, pinned back with delicate pearls, framed her face beautifully, while her eyes sparkled with joy and a touch of nervous excitement. The dress, a masterpiece of satin and lace, flowed around her like a whisper, the train trailing elegantly behind. She looked every bit the radiant bride, and Jiro's heart twisted painfully at the sight. She wished, more than anything, that Momo was donning this dress for her.
“Jirou, can you help with the veil?” Momo’s voice pulled her from her reverie, sweet and soft as always, yet tinged with the excitement of the day.
“Of course,” Jiro managed, her voice steady despite the tears threatening to spill. Her fingers trembled slightly as she adjusted the delicate fabric, each touch a reminder of what could never be.
As the ceremony approached, it took everything in Jiro not to cry. Walking down the aisle as maid of honor, each step felt heavy, the weight of her emotions almost unbearable. The faces of friends and family blurred around her, their smiles and happy tears a stark contrast to the turmoil inside her.
She kept her eyes forward, refusing to let them drift towards the man she couldn't help but resent. Todoroki stood at the altar, his face a picture of calm anticipation. Jiro tried not to hate him, but it was a losing battle.
But nothing compared to the gut-wrenching sight of Momo walking down the aisle, radiant and ethereal.
When the music swelled and Momo appeared at the end of the aisle, arm-in-arm with her father, Jiro's breath hitched. Momo moved with a grace that seemed almost otherworldly, her smile lighting up the entire room. The delicate snowflakes that dusted her veil sparkled under the soft lights, creating a halo effect that made her look angelic. Jiro's heart ached, each beat pounding with painful longing and unfulfilled dreams.
During the ceremony, Jiro felt herself drift away. In her daydream, she was the one standing beside Momo, not Todoroki. She imagined herself objecting, her voice strong and clear, when the officiant asked if anyone had any reasons to stop the marriage. Or better yet, Momo, unable to hold back her true feelings, confessing her love for Jiro and taking Jiro’s hand as they fled the chapel with together, leaving behind a world that could never understand them. The vivid imagery provided a fleeting escape from her heartache.
But the fantasy shattered when the officiant’s voice broke through her thoughts.
“I do,” Momo’s voice rang out clear and certain, a dagger to Jiro’s heart.
“And do you, Todoroki Shoto, take Yaoyorozu Momo to be your lawfully wedded wife?”
“I do,” Todoroki’s voice was equally firm, his gaze steady on Momo.
“I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride.”
You might as well have shot her right there.
As Momo and Todoroki shared their first kiss as a married couple, something inside Jirou shattered. She felt a part of her soul break away, lost forever. It was an ache she couldn’t describe, a pain that seemed to reach every part of her being.
With a heavy heart, she prepared to perform, because Momo had asked her to. She could never deny Momo anything. The bouquet toss happened early, a whirlwind of activity as the bouquet flew through the air. Denki, ever the charming klutz, caught it with his face, causing a ripple of laughter and cheers.
“Nice catch, Denki!” Sero teased, pretending to be hurt by the flower collision. "When do I get to pick out the ring?"
Todoroki chuckled, his usual stoic expression softened with amusement. Kirishima and Mina fawned over the moment, their faces lit with delight. Tsuyu, Ochako, and Toru, the other bridesmaids, shared amused glances.
Denki, blushing ear to ear, smiled and waved at Jiro, his eyes sparkling with a mix of hope and nerves. Everyone turned to look at them, the silent question hanging in the air. Jiro’s heart twisted, knowing the moment wasn’t about her and Denki, but rather the unresolved feelings she had for Momo.
Jiro couldn’t get a moment alone with Momo amidst the flurry of congratulations and celebrations. Every time she tried, someone else whisked Momo away, leaving Jiro standing on the periphery, watching, waiting. Determined, she decided to make Momo hear her.
She stood backstage, gazing out at the elegantly decorated hall where Denki was engrossed in conversation with Tsuyu and Kirishima. His smile, genuine and bright, offered a fleeting comfort. Jirou turned away, taking a moment to collect herself. The stage lights cast gentle shadows around her, a contrast to the turmoil swirling within.
She couldn't shake the pang of jealousy that had plagued her. It wasn't about ownership or possessiveness—it was about the deep ache of longing for what she had once shared with Momo. They had been more than friends, more than colleagues; they had been confidantes, partners, and companions in a way that defied labels. Now, seeing Momo adorned with Todoroki's ring felt like a stark reminder of what had slipped through her fingers.
"I can't survive on emotional scraps," Jirou whispered to herself, her voice barely audible over the hum of chatter from the hall. Guilt gnawed at her for feeling this way, for mourning something that perhaps never truly belonged to her. She understood free will, understood that Momo had the right to pursue her own happiness. Yet, it didn't dull the ache in her chest.
A gentle hand on her shoulder brought her back to the present. It was Denki, his eyes filled with concern and understanding. He squeezed her shoulder reassuringly, offering silent support.
"You've got this," he mouthed, giving her a thumbs-up before returning to the others.
Jirou took a deep breath, steeling herself against the tumult of emotions threatening to overwhelm her. She turned to the band, signaling that she was ready. The familiar chords of the guitar filled the air, anchoring her in the present moment.
As she stepped onto the stage, the warmth of the spotlight enveloped her. The room fell silent, all eyes turning toward her expectantly. Jiro closed her eyes for a brief moment, gathering her thoughts, finding solace in the music that had always been her refuge.
When she opened her eyes again, her gaze swept across the faces of friends, colleagues, and familiar strangers. Among them, she caught a glimpse of Momo and Todoroki, their intertwined hands a stark contrast against the backdrop of twinkling lights.
“This song...,” Jirou started, keeping her voice steady despite the turmoil inside. “It says everything I never could.”
Jirou drew a steadying breath, the lyrics flowing from her lips with a rawness and vulnerability she had rarely shown. Each note carried a piece of her soul, each word a confession of unspoken longing and heartache. The music swelled around her, carrying her emotions into the open, laying bare the truth she had been wrestling with.
“You can kiss a hundred boys in bars
Shoot another shot, try to stop the feeling
You can say it's just the way you are
Make a new excuse, another stupid reason,”
As she sang, her gaze inadvertently found Momo's in the crowd. Jiro’s fingers harshly gripped the mic as the dance melody filled the dimly lit pub.
"When you wake up next to him in the middle of the night..."
Momo's eyes widened in realization, her hand unconsciously gripping the edge of the table. Tsuyu and Mina exchanged worried glances, sensing the tension in the room. Denki, sitting next to them, furrowed his brow in confusion, trying to piece together the meaning behind Jiro's choice of song.
"With your head in your hands, you're nothing more than his wife..."
Sero leaned forward, his expression shifting from curiosity to concern as he glanced between Jiro and Momo. Todoroki, sitting quietly beside Momo, tensed imperceptibly, his eyes narrowing slightly.
"And when you think about me, all of those years ago..."
The words hung heavy in the air, resonating with everyone present. Some in the audience began to murmur, realizing the song's personal nature. Momo's breath caught in her throat, her heart racing as she struggled to maintain composure.
"You're standing face to face with 'I told you so'..."
Jiro's voice wavered slightly, the raw emotion evident in every note. She continued singing, pouring her heart into the lyrics that inadvertently unveiled the unspoken tensions between them.
"You know I hate to say, 'I told you so'..."
Denki glanced over at Jiro, a flicker of understanding crossing his face as he pieced together the implications. Sero placed a reassuring hand on Mina's shoulder, silently acknowledging the gravity of the moment.
"You can kiss a hundred boys in bars..."
Todoroki's jaw clenched, his gaze fixed on Jiro with a mix of disbelief and resignation. Tsuyu placed a supportive hand on Momo's arm, offering a silent gesture of comfort.
"Shoot another shot, try to stop the feeling..."
As the chorus echoed through the pub, the atmosphere grew tense. The truth behind Jiro's song hung heavy, casting a shadow over the gathered heroes and students.
"You can say it's just the way you are..."
Momo's eyes glistened with unshed tears, her emotions raw and exposed. The weight of Jiro's words sank in, each verse unraveling the fragile threads that bound their complex relationship.
"Good luck, babe..."
Jiro's voice softened, the final words carrying a bittersweet farewell. The crowd fell silent, absorbing the poignant moment unfolding before them.
“You’d have to stop the world just to stop the feeling,”
After Jiro's song concluded, the hall erupted into applause and cheers, a stark contrast to the turmoil brewing. The band seamlessly transitioned into a rock version of "Jingle Bells," and patrons began to sway and dance, caught up in the festive atmosphere.
Momo sat frozen in her seat, her hands trembling as she processed the weight of Jiro's words. Tsuyu and Mina exchanged worried glances, unsure of how to comfort their friend in this moment of vulnerability.
Momo's voice broke through the quietude, her tone trembling yet resolute. "Excuse me," she managed to say, her voice barely above a whisper. With swift steps, she hurried towards the restroom.
Sero, sensing the tension, leaned closer to Denki, murmuring under his breath, "That song... it was about Momo, wasn't it?" Denki nodded slowly, his expression somber as he watched Jiro on stage, silently grappling with her own emotions.
Denki stood frozen, his expression caught between shock and hurt. He felt as though a part of him had been exposed, vulnerable under the weight of Jiro's raw emotions. Sero turned to Denki, his expression grave. "We should give them some space," he suggested softly, knowing that Momo and Jiro needed time to process the emotional upheaval.
Nearby, Tsuyu watched with disappointment etched on her face, her typically neutral demeanor betraying a hint of sadness for her friends' fractured relationships.
Tsuyu shook her head silently, her gaze lingering on Jiro with empathy. "I hope they can sort things out," she murmured, her voice tinged with concern for her friends' fractured relationship.
Mina, always one to address difficult situations head-on, approached Jiro with a mix of concern and confusion. "Why did you do that?" she asked softly, her eyes searching Jiro's face for answers amidst the din of the hall.
Across the room, Todoroki's anger simmered beneath the surface, his gaze locked onto Jiro with an intensity that could freeze fire. He clenched his fists, struggling to contain the tumult of emotions stirred by Jiro's revelation. With a curt nod towards the group, he turned on his heel and made his way purposefully towards the restroom where Momo had fled.
As he approached, Todoroki hesitated for a moment, his hand hovering over the door before he gently pushed it open. Inside, Momo stood by the sink, her reflection distorted in the mirror by tears that streaked down her cheeks. The water was running, and it was clear she had just thrown up. She turned at the sound of the door, her red eyes a mix of vulnerability and defiance.
Without a word, Todoroki closed the distance between them and pulled her into a comforting embrace. Momo buried her face in his chest, the weight of Jiro's words still echoing in her mind. "I’m sorry," she whispered hoarsely, her voice wavering with a mixture of guilt and confusion.
Todoroki held her tighter, his own turmoil momentarily set aside in favor of offering solace to the woman he loved. "It's okay," he murmured reassuringly, brushing a strand of hair from her face. "We'll figure this out."
Back in the hall, the holiday cheer continued unabated, oblivious to the storm brewing within its walls. Classmates danced and laughed, oblivious to the rift that had been exposed among their friends. Yet, for Jiro and Momo, and even for Denki and Todoroki, the night had taken an unexpected turn.
As the band played on and the festivities carried on around them, Jiro stood amidst the crowd, grappling with the aftermath of her emotional outpouring. She knew she had shattered whatever fragile friendship between herself and Momo remained, yet the truth had been a burden too heavy to bear alone.
With a heavy heart, she watched as Denki approached, his expression still a mix of hurt and confusion. "Why, Jirou?" he asked softly, his voice tinged with pain.
Jiro met his gaze, her own eyes glistening with unshed tears. "I just... needed to be heard," she admitted quietly, the weight of her confession hanging in the air between them. "Even if it hurt."
Denki nodded slowly, his hand reaching out to touch her shoulder in a gesture of silent understanding. "I get it," he murmured, his voice barely audible over the music and chatter around them. "But... it hurts."
“You hurt me, Jirou.”
Jirou's heart sank deeper at his words, knowing she had caused pain to someone she cared about deeply. The weight of Denki's disappointment added to the ache already gnawing at her chest.
Mina had left to find Kirishima, her usually bright demeanor dimmed by the tension in the air. Tsuyu couldn't meet Jiro's gaze, her disappointment evident in the downturn of her expression. Sero  lingered at the bar, leaning against the counter and observing quietly, his concern etched into the solemn expression of his face.
Jiro's eyes flicked to the table where she had last seen Todoroki and Momo. A door could be heard creaking open, when she turned to look, she caught a glimpse of the ravenette.
Todoroki escorted Momo out, his arm wrapped protectively around her shoulders. The icy glare he had shot Jiro burned in her memory, freezing her in place. She glanced back towards the exit, catching a glimpse of Momo's red-rimmed eyes and tear-streaked face. It was like a punch to the gut, the pain of hurting someone she cared for so deeply.
Denki, about to move past them, nearly collided with Todoroki and Momo as they emerged from the restroom. The air crackled with unspoken tension as their eyes briefly met. Momo's gaze turned, filled with hurt and resignation, and struck Jiro to the core. It was a silent plea and an accusation all at once.
As they made their way through the venue, the atmosphere seemed to shift. The festive cheer around them faded into the background, replaced by an uneasy silence that mirrored the turmoil in Jiro's heart.
The sight of Momo's wedding ring glinting briefly in the light felt like a sharp jab, a reminder of what Jiro had lost and what she had inadvertently shattered.
Outside, the world was cloaked in a soft blanket of snow, muffling the sounds of the city and casting a serene yet melancholy ambiance over the night. Jirou watched helplessly as Momo and Todoroki disappeared into the wintry venue, their figures gradually fading from view.
Alone amidst the holiday and party revelry, Jirou felt a profound sense of isolation. Her chest felt heavy while her throat seemed to close up. The trapped feelings in her heart seemed to have gone to the pit of her stomach and  although she hadn’t a drop to drink that night, she could feel the world a little too much.
The music continued to play and laughter echoed through the pub, but Jirou stood rooted in place, with only her emotions to keep her company.
--
The aftermath of Momo and Todoroki's wedding day rippled through their lives, causing a seismic shift in the balance of relationships and professional alliances. Momo's decision to leave the joint agency she had co-founded with Jirou sent shockwaves through their tight-knit circle of friends and colleagues.
Class 1-A, once unified in their support of one another, found themselves divided over the turn of events. Some understood Momo's need to distance herself from the painful memories Jiro's performance had stirred, while others sympathized with Jiro's unspoken love and the courage it took to bare her heart so publicly. Others agreed that the literal wedding day was not the time or place to share these deep intimate feelings. The camaraderie that had seen them through their years at U.A. Academy now felt strained, old bonds tested by conflicting loyalties.
Todoroki was furious. The calm, collected demeanor he was known for gave way to a rare display of anger. He couldn't comprehend why Momo would even consider staying in an agency where she was constantly reminded of Jiro's feelings. His frustration boiled over into heated arguments, his insistence that Momo leave the agency becoming more relentless with each passing day.
"Why can't you see that staying there will only hurt you more?" Todoroki asked one evening, his voice sharp with exasperation.
Momo, her own emotions a tumultuous sea of confusion and heartache, tried to keep her composure. "It's not that simple, Shoto. We've built something important. I can't just walk away from it all because of one moment."
"One moment?" Todoroki's eyes blazed with disbelief. "That performance was more than just a moment. She poured her heart out to you in front of everyone. On our wedding day! How can you work with her after that?"
Momo's resolve wavered, the weight of Todoroki's words pressing heavily on her. She felt the sting of Jiro's performance every time she thought about it, a sharp reminder of the unresolved feelings between them. Yet, the idea of leaving the agency she and Jirou had painstakingly built together felt like an abandonment of their shared dreams and accomplishments.
As the days turned into weeks, Todoroki's insistence grew stronger. He began making plans for a new agency, one where Momo could start fresh without the shadows of unspoken emotions looming over her. He reached out to potential investors, scouted locations, and drafted proposals, determined to create a future that he and Momo could share without the complications of Jiro's lingering presence.
Despite Todoroki's efforts, Momo remained torn. She knew he was right in many ways; distancing herself from Jirou might help heal the wounds inflicted by the wedding day. But leaving the agency felt like cutting away a part of herself, a sacrifice she wasn't sure she was willing to make. Each time she walked into the office, memories of their shared victories and challenges confronted her, reminding her of what they had achieved together.
One evening, after another tense discussion with Todoroki, Momo found herself wandering through the agency's headquarters. The walls were adorned with photos and mementos from their missions, each one a testament to their hard work and dedication. She paused in front of a picture of her and Jirou, taken on the day they signed their first big contract. Their smiles were wide and genuine, filled with the promise of a bright future.
Momo's heart ached as she stared at the photo. She knew that leaving the agency wouldn't erase the feelings or the memories. It wouldn't change the fact that Jirou's performance had hurt her deeply. But it also wouldn't change the fact of the bond they had shared, the moments of triumph and camaraderie that had defined their partnership.
And how badly it was going to hurt to cut Jirou out of her life.
--
Momo stood outside the shared office door that bridged her and Jiro's offices. It had been their sanctuary, a place where ideas flowed freely and laughter often echoed through the halls. Now, it felt like a barrier between them, a tangible reminder of what they were about to lose.
With a hesitant breath, Momo raised her hand and knocked softly on the door. The sound echoed faintly through the empty hallway, carrying with it the weight of unspoken words and lingering regrets.
After a moment, the door creaked open, revealing Jirou on the other side. Her expression softened at the sight of Momo, a mix of sorrow and longing in her eyes.
"Momo," Jiro murmured, her voice barely above a whisper.
Momo swallowed hard, meeting Jiro's gaze with a mixture of sadness and resolve. "Jiro... Can we talk?"
Jiro nodded silently, stepping aside to let Momo enter the office they had once shared so freely. The air inside was heavy with the weight of their unspoken goodbye, the shelves lined with memories of their time together.
Momo took a hesitant step into the room, her heart aching with the realization of what was about to transpire.
Momo and Jiro sat across from each other in the quiet of Jirou's office, the weight of unspoken words hung heavy in the air. Momo's decision to leave had cast a somber pall over their once vibrant partnership, leaving them both grappling with the aftermath of their shared history.
"Momo," Jiro began tentatively, her voice barely above a whisper, "I... I know this wasn't easy for you."
Momo nodded, her expression a mix of sadness and resolve. "No, it wasn't. But I had to do it, Jirou. For myself."
"I understand," Jiro replied softly, her gaze dropping to her hands clasped tightly in her lap. "I just wish... things could have been different."
Momo's eyes flickered with a trace of hurt. "Different how? You never apologized, Jirou. Not for how you felt, but for how you handled it."
Jiro's breath caught in her throat. She had known this conversation was inevitable, yet the sting of Momo's words still cut deep. "I... I can't apologize for how I feel, Momo. I can only apologize for not saying it sooner, for letting it come out like that, on your wedding day of all days."
Momo sighed, her shoulders slumping with resignation. "I wish you had, Jirou. Maybe things wouldn't have ended like this."
A heavy silence settled between them, the unspoken regrets and what-ifs weighing heavily on their hearts. Jiro wanted to reach out, to bridge the gap that had grown between them, but she knew that some wounds ran too deep to be healed with mere words.
"I never wanted to hurt you," Jiro finally whispered, her voice thick with emotion. "I just... I couldn't keep pretending anymore."
Momo nodded, her eyes shimmering with unshed tears. "I know," she murmured softly. "But sometimes, the truth hurts more than we're prepared for."
Jiro nodded in agreement, her throat tight with unspoken apologies. "I'm sorry, Momo. I should have been honest, should have faced this before it came to this."
Momo reached across the table, her hand hesitating for a moment before gently clasping Jirou's. "You and me both," she said quietly. "We both made mistakes. But I need to do this for myself now."
Jiro nodded, squeezing Momo's hand in a silent gesture of understanding. "I know," she whispered. "I just... I know."
Tears welled in Momo's eyes as she met Jirou's gaze, the depth of their shared history and the pain of their parting palpable in the air. "Jirou," she choked out, her voice trembling with emotion.
They sat together in the quiet of the conference room, the weight of their unspoken goodbyes hung heavy in the air. They both knew that this was the end of an era, the closing of a chapter that had defined so much of their lives.
"Mo?" Jirou murmured, her voice barely above a whisper.
Momo swallowed hard, meeting her gaze with a mixture of sadness and resolve. "Yeah?"
Jirou nodded again, her throat tight. "I'm sorry, Mo," she whispered, her eyes glistening with unshed tears. "I never wanted it to end like this."
Momo sighed softly, the weight of their shared history pressing down on her shoulders. "I'm sorry too Jirou," she admitted quietly. "But we can't change what's happened."
They stood facing each other in the quiet of the office, the space between them filled with the echoes of their past and the uncertainty of their future. It was a moment neither of them had ever imagined—a moment of farewell that had come too soon.
"I'll miss you, Songbird," Momo finally choked out, her voice thick with emotion.
Jirou reached out, her hand trembling slightly as she brushed a tear from Momo's cheek. "I'll miss you too, Mo," she whispered hoarsely. "More than words can say."
"I will never regret you."
They sat there together in silence for a long moment.
Until one of them had to go.

Good luck, babe (well, good luck), well, good luck, babe (well, good luck)
The winter evening draped the city in a blanket of snow, muffling the usual sounds of bustling streets and casting a serene calm over the urban landscape. In the heart of the city, amidst towering buildings adorned with festive lights, stood the office building that housed the joint agency of Momo and Jiro. Inside, the atmosphere was markedly different from the festive New Year’s cheer outside.
Momo sat at her desk, surrounded by the remnants of their once-shared venture. Boxes filled with paperwork and personal belongings were scattered around her, waiting to be packed up and moved to her new office with Todoroki. A photograph of her and Jiro lay on the desk before her, illuminated by the soft glow of her desk lamp. The room felt cavernous, the silence broken only by the occasional rustling of paper and the distant murmur of the city below.
She picked up the photograph gingerly, her fingers tracing the outlines of their smiling faces. In the picture, they were young, full of hope and determination, their uniforms as fresh as their dreams of heroism. Momo couldn't help but reminisce about the days when their partnership had felt effortless, when their laughter had echoed through these very walls.
A tear slipped down her cheek, then another and another as she remembered the joyous moments they had shared—the late nights studying, the victories celebrated, and that day at the beach. Now, those memories were distant, overshadowed by the rift that had grown between them, fueled by nonsense and the inexorable passage of time.
In the office next door, Jiro sat quietly at her own desk, staring out at the city through the large windows. Her gaze was distant, her thoughts consumed by the photograph she held in her hands. It was a copy of the same picture Momo was looking at, another shitty reminder of their once inseparable friendship. The room around her felt cold and empty, the space between her and Momo a palpable void that seemed impossible to bridge.
She wiped away a tear that had escaped her eye, her heart heavy with regret and longing. Losing Momo had left an ache in her chest that no amount of music or distraction could soothe. She replayed their last conversation in her mind, the words spoken and unspoken hanging heavily in the air between them.
Outside, the snow continued to fall softly, blanketing the city in silence. The holiday lights twinkled in the distance, casting a gentle glow on the frosted windows of their office building. For Momo and Jiro, however, there was no festive cheer, only the weight of their dead friendship.
As the evening deepened into night, Momo and Jirou remained in their separate offices, each grappling with their own sense of loss and longing. The photographs in their hands a sick reminder of the connection they had once shared, a relationship that was never coming back.
In the quiet solitude of their surroundings, they both yearned for a way to reclaim what they had lost, unsure if the passage of time would ever heal the wounds that had torn them apart.
The woman woke abruptly, jolted from her sleep by a sudden unease that settled heavily upon her chest. The soft glow of the alarm clock cast a faint luminescence over the room, illuminating the figure lying beside her. She lay there, the warmth of the covers cocooning her, trying to recall what had stirred her from slumber. Was it a sound, a fleeting dream, or simply the weight of unresolved thoughts?
Turning her head slightly, she peered at the man beside her, his back turned to her in the moonlit darkness. His breathing was steady and deep, a testament to the peaceful rest he found each night. Yet, for her, sleep had become elusive lately, haunted by thoughts that seemed to visit more often as the years passed.
Her eyes drifted to her left hand, where the glimmering wedding ring caught a sliver of moonlight filtering through the open window. She watched it sparkle, a silent witness to the passage of time and the choices that had led her to this point in her life.
As she reached to close the window against the cool night breeze, memories stirred within her—a montage of moments from her younger years, of dreams once shared and plans for a future that now felt distant and faded. She sighed softly, feeling the weight of years of compromise and silent resignation settling upon her shoulders.
Her husband stirred slightly, the movement causing a pang of guilt in her heart. He had thrived in his career as a hero, rising through the ranks with each passing year, while she had found herself caught in a stagnation she couldn't quite shake. It was a familiar ache, a sense of being left behind while life moved inexorably forward.
She closed her eyes, seeking clarity in the darkness. In the quiet of the night, a voice echoed in her mind—"I told you so"—Flashes of memories danced at the edges of her consciousness: moments with friends, laughter shared over victories, and quiet conversations filled with unspoken longing.
Tears immediately welled up in her eyes as she struggled to contain the flood of emotions threatening to overwhelm her.
She dropped down to the floor, her hand and knees against the cool wall, tears streaming down her cheeks in silent rivulets. The sound of her own breathing filled the room, the only audible accompaniment to her sorrow. Her cries were soft, stifled by the weight of unspoken grief and the fear of waking her husband from his peaceful slumber.
Looking up through tear-blurred eyes, she caught her reflection in the bedroom mirror—a ghostly figure bathed in the moon's silver light, a solitary silhouette against the darkness. The sight of herself, framed by the quiet serenity of the night, only deepened her anguish.
She felt sick with longing, with a profound sense of loss that gnawed at her insides. The ache in her heart seemed to echo through the empty room, a hollow reminder of the dreams she had once held so close. In that moment of raw vulnerability, she realized the depth of her yearning—for a life less ordinary, for a love that hadn't slipped through her fingers.
The world outside seemed to fade into insignificance as she grappled with the weight of her emotions. She knew, in the depths of her soul, that to escape this pain, she would have to stop time itself—to halt the relentless march of years that had brought her to this precipice of regret.
The night stretched on, enveloping her in its quiet embrace, as she confronted the shadows of her past and the stark reality of her present. Beside her, her husband slept on, unaware of the tempest raging in her heart. In the stillness of the early morning hours, she wrestled with the echoes of her choices, with the ache of what might have been, and with the bittersweet sting of what was.
“You'd have to stop the world just to stop the feeling,”
"Jirou,”
“Jirou?”
“Earth to Jirou," Tsuyu's voice gently broke through the haze of Jiro's daydream.
Jirou blinked, snapping back to reality, finding herself back in the bustling high school classroom with Momo by her side. The bell about to ring for lunch break.
Huh? Oh, sorry," Jirou mumbled, realizing she had drifted off.
"You okay?" Momo asked, her voice filled with concern.
"Yeah, just lost in thought," Jirou replied with a faint smile.
Mina leaned in from the desk behind them. "Come on, guys, let's go grab some food. I'm starving!" she exclaimed, her enthusiasm infectious.
As Mina and Tsu walked out together, Jirou felt a sense of peace settle over her. She knew that here, with her friends by her side, everything was right in the world.
“Wait for me Songbird.”
As students streamed out of the classroom, Jirou leaned against the wall, her eyes fixed on Momo.
Momo looked up, meeting Jirou's gaze with a warm smile. She zipped up her bag and walked over to Jirou, closing the distance between them. Without a word, Momo slipped her hand into Jirou's, their fingers intertwining naturally.
Jirou's heart skipped a beat at the touch, a rush of warmth spreading through her. It was a simple gesture, yet it made her feel warmth from the top of her head down to her toes.
They stood there for a moment in the bustling hallway, their pinkies linked discreetly, sharing a quiet moment of connection away from prying eyes.
Jirou glanced at Momo, who returned her smile with a knowing look. They didn't need words to understand each other.
“YOU GUYS! Come on! I wanna get there before lunch is over!”
Jirou glanced at Momo, who returned her smile with a knowing look. They settled down at the table, surrounded by the familiar chatter of their friends and the lively ambiance of the cafeteria. As they shared stories and laughter over lunch, Jirou couldn't help but feel a sense of contentment, knowing that in this moment, everything was gonna be alright.
And so, the daydream faded into the background, replaced by the warmth of friendship and the simple joy of being together.
In the warm glow of the Christmas tree, with the gentle strumming of Jirou's guitar filling the room, the atmosphere at their holiday gathering felt joyous and cozy. Plates of festive treats adorned the coffee table, and the room was fragrant with the scent of cinnamon and pine. The common room was filled with the cheerful chatter and laughter of Class 1-A.
In a cozy open office adorned with twinkling lights, Jirou strummed a gentle melody on her guitar, the soft notes filling the room with warmth. Momo entered with a steaming mug of tea, carefully handing it to Jirou.
"Here you go, Songbird," Momo said with a smile, placing the mug on the coffee table next to Jirou.
"Thanks, Mo," Jirou replied, her voice soft as she adjusted her position on the couch, making room for Momo to sit beside her.
Mina and Tsu, seated on the floor with pillows around them, were holding their stomachs, laughing heartily at the "Christmas story" Jirou had just recounted about her "daydream" from their UA days.
"More like a nightmare!" Momo exclaimed with a playful eye roll, settling herself next to Jirou and wrapping her arms around Jirou's neck.
"You should've just asked me out sooner!" Jirou teased, leaning into Momo's embrace.
"You could've asked me out too!" Momo shot back with a grin.
"I was dropping hints!" Jirou defended herself with a laugh.
"Mo, your love language is gift-giving. It's hard to tell sometimes," Jirou explained with a chuckle, glancing at Mina and Tsu, who were still giggling.
"Oh," Momo replied, feigning surprise, before leaning in to kiss Jirou's cheek affectionately. "Sorry, Baby," Momo whispered teasingly, eliciting coos from Mina and Tsu at the adorable sight.
Jirou blushed furiously but couldn't help but smile, feeling the warmth of Momo's love and their shared history wrap around them like the cozy blankets draped over the back of the couch.
Meanwhile, Denki was trying to untangle himself from a mess of tinsel, while Sero and Kirishima were engaged in an animated debate about the best way to decorate a Christmas tree. Bakugo, reluctantly wearing a Santa hat, grumbled in the corner as he sipped on eggnog.
Todoroki and Sero seemed to be locked in an intense game of Smash Bros with Iida and Izuku with some of the others watching.
As the laughter and warmth filled the room, Jiro resumed playing her guitar, strumming a lively tune as everyone joined in singing their favorite holiday songs. The mood was light and joyous, Momo and Jiro exchanged glances filled with affection and happiness. Their rings sparkled in the festive light, in a moment that felt like the perfect ending to a beautiful love story.

Shouto falls for every little thing people do.
He catches on fire in class sometimes, with seemingly no reason, but it's because he saw Tsu stick her tongue out a bit while concentrating.
Aoyama is wailing about love, draping himself over Iida and complaining about the class's good looks, he points out Shouto who is walking past and calls him "literal royalty" and Shouto combusts, alarming both iida and Aoyama.
Tokoyami presents some of his poetry to the class, and Shouto's heart is racing, and he's pretty sure Momo noticed because she's giving him a knowing look but he can't help but admire Tokoyami's way with words.
Iida gets dressed up by Aoyama in knight gear, and the whole day acts as "a night in shining armor" for the class, and Shouto freezes up everytime Iida asks if he can help with anything.
Kaminari likes to give physical affection, and one movie night he calmly drapes himself over Shouto. Shouto whips his head around towards Kami, and Kami looks back as if asking if it was okay. Shouto just quietly nods, and Kaminari proceeds to rest his head and hand on Shouto's chest, and wrap a leg around his, and Shouto can't keep the smile off his face the rest of the night.
Mina and Hagakure both tease Shouto about how easily flustered he gets, but in such a loving way Shouto can't help but melt under their affection.
Koda brings a cat to Shouto's room once, with seemingly no explanation, and when he asks, Koda just shrugs and quietly hums. Shouto let's Koda in, and Koda signs "looked like you needed it" and Shouto feels his face warm up and hopes he doesn't burst into flames lest he scare both Koda and the kitten.
Shouto has a not-so-secret sweet tooth, and Satou has noticed. For Shouto's birthday, Satou organized a huge basket of sweets that he gathered using the Intel he has on Shouto, hand-picking every single one so that he's sure Shouto loves his present. Shouto cries when he receives the gift, gladly extending his arms so that Satou can give him a hug.
Shouji is very strong, and frequently takes classmates on piggyback rides. He offers a ride to Shouto, who hesitantly agrees. Shouji carefully adjusts Shouto onto his back, barricading him with his arms, leaving a spot to peak through at the top. Shouji starts jogging, and Shouto's heart is exploding, he loves the feel of the wind giving his face kisses, the warm and secure arms wrapped around him, the constant check-ups from Shouji, which Shouto thinks is the sweetest thing in the world.
Shouto can't stop thinking about his interactions with Sero after they started exchanging manga. The way Sero lazily grins as he proudly shows Shouto a meme about the manga they are currently reading together, the way Sero casually brings Shouto to small get-togethers that he actually likes, the comfortable silences they fall into while reading. Even with Kaminari, who Sero's practically attached with, it's magical, Kaminari adds knowingly to their conversations, and explains memes to Shouto in non-condescending ways.
Ojiro's tail wags behind him when he's happy, Shouto first noticed this when he had gotten hit in the back once accidentally, and was promptly bombarded with more apologies than necessary. After a long day of training, Shouto's eyes catch onto the steady sway of Ojiro's tail, and it's hard to hide his smile when Ojiro's tail wags faster when All Might compliments his technique.
Shouto is sometimes overwhelmed with the constant chatter or influx of people in his space, and often has spaces he likes to go to breath. He thought no one had noticed or cared when he snuck away, but one day he found a small mp3 player with nice earbuds, and a deep purple sticky note plastered on top of it. It read "thought you might like this, give it a listen- jirou<3" and in it were soft songs that whisped Shouto away. It struck at his heart just how much thought and effort she must've put into it, and made a mental note to gift her something she'd love.
Momo is one of the first of Shouto's classmates that he had started to talk to, save for the "Dekusquad". They had started out with training tips, and now Momo and Shouto go on monthly shopping trips. Momo is a very loving person by nature, and Shouto's safe place. She had helped him have confidence in himself, and Shouto can't thank her enough for her encouragement and help in romance.
Shouto cannot see a shark without immediately thinking of Kirishima's toothy grin. He imagine Kirishima's warmth and happiness, and his face burns with embarrassment. He still keeps a plush penguin that Kirishima had bought with arcade tickets once.
Bakugo was lively and sparked, but Shouto knew he cared. From the way he stood up for Shouto against Endeavour whenever he asked too much of them during the internship. Bakugo walks steadily alongside Shouto when they have somewhere to be. Shouto can count on him to quiet a room when there's too much going on.
Ochako is very bubbly, and Shouto loves that she is easy to be around, even when he's not feeling energetic, because she adjusts easily to his moods. One day, the class was on a trip to the mall, splitting off into groups. He had talked to Ochako over what he wanted to get for Mother's Day. She happily agreed, and was now dragging him about the mall, pointing out possible gifts. Shouto couldn't help the way he started to heat up as she grabbed his hand, careful of her pinky touching him. He quickly tried to extinguish any possible flames before he burned her. He took note of the fact that they were slowing down, yet Ochako seemed to be as energetic as ever. He saw that every step she took was elevated, and she seemed to be walking on air. His right arm sparked, and he slipped a bit on his ice, his hair promptly bursting into flames as she turned around to check on him.
Then there's Midoriya, the person who became his first friend, who helped him accept himself. Shouto bursts into flames during lunch so often because of whatever Midoriya was rambling about, that no one is surprised when it happens.

• Kirishima was a very bitey child which really sucked for the people he bit.
• Tsuyu had a little tadpole tail in early elementary school.
• Ochaco goes on tumblr on a secret account so she could talk to people who were fans of hers, and later surprise them by revealing herself.
• Todoroki was and forever will be terrified of the movie Coraline.
• Tokoyami is a very small streamer who frequently plays horror games.
• Not related but that last one made me imagine a very smol Tokoyami trying to play video games.
• Bakugo was caught watching Hamilton.
• Denki found the edits of them all...
• Aoyama types 《☆°sigh°☆》 in the middle of text conversations.
• Kirishima and Denki really like Gorillaz.
• The class once saw Aizawa hopping in his sleeping bag after a cat ran out of said sleeping bag.
• Aizawa gave extra points to Ochaco one time because she doodled the class as cats at the bottom of her paper.
• Mineta is in heavy trouble with the teachers and Nezu, so much so that they are majorly considering putting Shinso in his place in class while he gets expelled for constantly harassing other students.
• Erasermic family (Aizawa, Mic, Shinso, and Eri)
• Shouji only removes his mask around certain people. Those people include Tokoyami, Tsu, Aoyama, and Kouji.
• He does this only with them because they make him feel appreciated and normal in different ways, even though being quote unquote "normal" in this world is so impossible with everyone's different takes on what normality even is.
• Shoto writes letters to Touya and keeps them in a safe little box. He always knew Touya would never see them, but it felt nice to feel like he was talking to him again.
• Sero ironically uses the word "icky".
• Aoyama says "icky" too, but completely and undeniably unironically.
• Hagakure had a point in her life where she tied a balloon to herself so people would know she was there.
• Jirou and Bakugo started to slightly get along after Bakugo revealed he could play drums. Not friends, but having a shared bond over music, even if they were into different genres.
• Momo donates to toy drives A LOT. Especially around Christmas.
• Ojiro used to play volleyball in Middle School by using his tail.
• Satou always bakes for the class after something big happens, and he gives extra to Momo if she fought because he knows she is weaker than usual.
• Kouda volunteers at animal hospitals whenever he gets free time
• Iida ugly cried watching Fruits Basket.
• Mina kind of regretted her hero name when she eventually graduated and became an actual hero.
• Don't worry though because the moment a little boy with purple skin came running up to her almost crying, she was perfectly fine with the name.
• Deku is 100% All might's secret love child. (Todoroki:* transforms into the 'ooh' cat from Puss in Boots*)

We all got settled in the commons for a movie night. Kirishima, Sato, Midoriya and I moved the couches around so everyone could see better and be comfortable. Mina, Todoroki, Hanta and Hagakure made popcorn and got cups out for drinks. Everyone else grabbed pillows, blankets and debated over which movie and movie genre we should watch.
"Why don't we just pick a genre by pulling it out of a hat or using like, a random generator or something?" I suggested casually, hoping to stop the yelling match between Mina and Bakugou, the girl wanted to watch a rom-com and the latter wanting horror. Everyone agreed, so I pulled out my phone and pulled up a random wheel generator. "Gimme some genres!"
"Horror!"
"Romance!"
I typed them in and looked up.
"Okay, anything else?" I asked, not wanting to have to be the reason a friendly war was waged over movies.
"I think a comedy would be good." Denki suggested.
"I second that!" Hanta called from the kitchen.
"I would also like to second that." Todoroki calmly stated.
"Well I back up Mina on romance!" Hagakure exclaimed.
"I would be up for a thriller." Jirou chimed in.
"I too, think horror or thriller would be good." Tokoyami piped from the back of the room.
"Action!" Kiri called out.
"Action sounds good." Ojiro stated calmly.
"Sci-fi sounds fun." Shoji piped up.
"I think action would be fitting." Iida stated casually for once.
"Okay, does anyone have any other genres to add into the mix? We have, horror, thriller, romance, comedy and action." Everyone agreed in their own way so I hit the button and waited for the wheel to land. "Alright, the winning genre is horror." Bakugou smirked at my deflated expression. "Any complaints on this can be taken up with the wheel generator. Bakugou, that does not mean you can pick the movie, everyone has a say. Mina, that does not mean you can decline every movie suggested. Okay?" The two grumbled in response. "Also, subtitles, how does everyone feel about them?" The class unanimously agreed to using them and I felt a small weight lift off my shoulders.
Eventually a psychological horror was chosen. Denki and I got comfortable on a couch, the blond tucked under my arm with a bowl of popcorn resting on my lap. Hanta sat beside him, followed by Todoroki. My brother and Izuku sat on another couch, Uraraka sat on the greenettes other side and I could practically feel the tension radiating across the room. Bakugou and Kirishima sat on another couch. Jirou, Momo, Mina and Tsu sat on another and many others got comfortable on the floor. We finally hit play and I settled into my spot, gently rubbing Denki's arm.
Half way through, when an obvious jump scare was about to happen, I felt the blond start to freeze up before hiding his face in my neck. I smiled softly and held him closer, placing gentle kisses on his head. I glanced at my brother and saw Izuku was tucked into his side as well.
At one point, Denki finally relaxed a bit but was quickly back to hiding in my side. The blanket we were previously sharing pulled up a fair amount and held in his arms as well. I glanced over at Jirou and saw her holding Momo's hand. She smiled at me excitedly and I saw that her face was bright red, as well as Momo's. Then I saw Kirishima curled into Bakugou's side and I damn near pissed myself. The angry pomeranian had a faint blush on his cheeks but glared at me when he noticed that I realized.
Not a fucking word, ear bleed.
I simply gave him a thumbs up and turned my attention back to the movie and my boyfriend. The light of the screen highlighting his features, his few freckles that he adorned standing out. His lip was tugged between his teeth. I slowly reached up and tugged his lip down, his golden eyes flickering from my hand to my face. I gave him a look, silently asking if he was okay and he lightly nodded.
The movie came to an end with a cliffhanger, which greatly disappointed me but my main concern was on Denki and his extremely tense body. Dark Shadow reached across the room and flicked on the lights. Multiple sighs of relief filled the room from many of my classmates.
"That was so scary!" Mina cried out, her and Tsu clinging onto one another.
"Eh, it was alright I guess." I stated dully.
"Tsukababes! That didn't scare you?!"
"It really wasn't that bad." My brother agreed, Midoriya and Denki staring at us confused.
"Babe, that was scary." Denki commented, still staring at me in disbelief.
"We've uh, seen scarier." Hitoshi said hesitantly, not wanting to say too much but still give a decent explanation.
"Yeah, however, I have an announcement. Anyone who has a scared person with them, you are required to either stay down in the commons for an extended movie night or take them back to a dorm room to watch a happy movie to calm them down. If the person you are with is also scared, find a non scared person who is staying in the commons to watch a happy movie." Many agreed and in the chaos, Denki and I slipped away up to my room. "You okay?" I asked as soon as the door shut, the blond burying himself in my arms and talking into my shoulder. "Love, I can't see what you're saying when you aren't looking at me." I said softly, holding onto him gently. He leaned back and took a deep breath.
"I hate horror movies. That was horrible." I frowned slightly, hating that he was still tense and scared after the movie.
"I'm sorry, Denks. Do you wanna choose a comedy for us to watch?" I offered gently. He nodded into my shoulder and I slowly let go of him.
Quickly, I grabbed my laptop, one of my hoodies, a few blankets and stuffed animals and got my bed set up. I passed him my hoodie, watching him blush bright red as he put it on and put my hearing aids on the charger while he chose the movie. I slipped into the bathroom to change into a tank top and walked back out to find him already looking a little more relaxed.
"I almost forgot." I pointed out before walking over to my desk drawer and retrieving a few bags of chips. "Snacks."
"Where did you just get these from?" He asked, eyebrows pulled together but a smile was on his face.
"I have a snack drawer, I always do." He slowly nodded but didn't question it any further. I turned on my lamp and flicked off my main light so it wasn't too bright for either of us. "Is there anything else I can do to help?" I asked him softly.
"Cuddles?" He asked. I couldn't help the large smile on my face as I sat beside him. My arms immediately opening so he could get comfortable. He essentially ended up laying on top of me, so I slid us over so he could see the laptop better. "Thank you." He whispered, turning his head so I could see him better.
"You don't have to thank me. I'm more than happy to help you." I reassured him, his eyes darting around despite the animated comedy playing on the screen. "Do you wanna talk about it?" I asked him, opening a door for conversation.
"Uh, I have an older sister and she would always request horror's for movie nights. Like, really gory, terrifying horrors and then she would mock me after for being scared." I moved one hand to rub his back, the other moving up to cup his face, my thumb sliding across his cheekbone.
"Well, that's probably going to be one of the only times you'll watch a scary movie here. Regardless though, your sister shouldn't have done that. And since when do you have a sister?" I asked, this being the first time he's mentioned her, let alone one of the few times he's mentioned his family.
"We aren't close so I don't talk about her much. She's six years older than me." I hummed and tried to think about what she could be like.
"Huh. Weird. Granted, age gaps in siblings always feel weird when you hear them." He nodded against my chest and I felt his body slowly relax.
"Thank you for not making fun of me."
"Denki, I'm not going to make fun of you for being scared. Especially over something that was artistically designed to scare people. I might tease you if you were afraid of like, a giant marshmallow or something like that, but I wouldn't make fun of you. Just because I don't get scared doesn't mean I expect everyone else not to be." I stated calmly.
"Why aren't you scared of them?" He asked, my statement piquing his interest but it was clearly a way for him to divert the topic at least a little.
"Simply speaking? I've been through and seen worse. Plus, psychological horrors are easy to predict once you know what it's about. It's all a mind game. Like, say the main character got infected with a paranormal disease where her heart beats faster and faster every time she gets scared until it gives out and she can pass it on to someone else. It's going one of three ways, she stays in her house alone so she doesn't risk spreading it further and dies from a martyr complex. She becomes a recluse and barely leaves her home with no inevitable game plan. Or she thinks she's tough as rocks and faces the world. Option one, she tries scaring herself to death but as soon as she's about to go, someone comes and ruins her plan of ending the line of people who get it. Option two and three, the times that she goes outside she gets scared frequently. However, option four is finding the source and trying to eradicate it without dying. In the end, she passes it on to someone else unintentionally. All filled with jump scares and music to get your own pulse up." I paused for a moment, watching him ingest everything I just said. "Overall? Most horror movies, I know what's going to happen before I get fifteen minutes in, not factoring in jump scares, loopholes and any plot twists. A lot of horror fans watch it for the adrenaline rush, I just, find it boring and predictable. If we ever watch one again, I'll show you what I mean." He stared at me with wide eyes, clearly not realizing the baseline for a sub genre until I debunked it. "Sorry, your boyfriend is a total dweeb." I said while laughing, watching as he starting to as well.
"Okay, we have to watch another horror movie again at some point just so you can prove your point." I nodded and combed through his hair. "You're comfy." I tried not to laugh but a small chuckle slipped out.
"I'm glad you think so, most people wouldn't consider me comfortable to lay on." He jokingly glared at me and stuck out his tongue to solidify his point.
He got comfortable again and we watched the comedy in peace. His small giggles slowly faded and became further apart until he fell asleep. I smiled softly, enamored with the boy that laid fast asleep on me. The only thing drawing my phone away being Kirishima texting me.
From Boldore: Hey Tsukabro
From Boldore: Can I ask you something?
To Boldore: Yeah man, what's up?
From Boldore: How did you know you liked Kami?
To Boldore: We clicked right away. It didn't take a lot to make me feel safe around him. Anytime I even look at him it's like the whole butterfly exhibit at the Musutafu Zoo was released in my stomach. Anytime I'm with him I feel calm and cared for, and not just how you do with a friend. Despite how insecure I am about everything, I'm comfortable wearing what I want around him most of the time because I trust him.
From Boldore: Woah
To Boldore: Sorry, I might've went a little more into detail then I meant to
To Boldore: I take it you have a crush?
From Boldore: I think I do, it's two people and I can't tell which is actually a crush and which is just admiration and wanting to be more like them
From Boldore: Sorry, that probably makes no sense
To Boldore: Dude, feelings are confusing, can I ask who it is?
From Boldore: Bakugou and please don't hate me for this but your brother
To Boldore: Woah, I wasn't expecting Hitoshi
To Boldore: But take your time to sort out your feelings, I'm not gonna be mad over you having feelings
From Boldore: You're not mad
To Boldore: No, I'm not mad, promise
From Boldore: Thanks man
To Boldore: Of course, and if you ever need to talk then you know I'm here
From Boldore: Thank you, Tsukabro, it means a lot
I locked my phone and turned my attention back to the screen illuminating multiple colors.

ochako is trending on twitter and people are saying all sorts of things regarding her character development and relationship with izuku katsuki himiko and whatnot, let's hear something actually insightful and correct like your opinion, my sire *kneels down in reverence*
i actually wrote a long ass rant about this exact thing on my sideblog when i was on hiatus so im just gonna copy and paste it here.
tldr yes hori sucks at writing, no ochako is not poorly written - her development is very subtext heavy and subtlw
most if not all of the complaints people have for her is simply because she's the love interest for the main character. and it is true that even to someone who enjoys izuocha, i think that too much of ochako's character development is related to deku. enough that it's frustrating to read.
but it isn't entirely. her upbringing and financial instability causes her to bottle up her feelings and much of her arc is learning how to express herself with confidence and clarity. toga plays a HUGE role in that development but people love to smooth that over lol. in the war arc, she takes the mic from her fucking teacher, because she recognizes that people need to be calmed down and she does it quickly. she does her job as a rescue hero.
hk doesn't utilize women well. however people calling her inconsequential is fucking annoying, especially post chapters 322-325. her characterization is subtle and her role in the story is mainly support! not just to deku but to hero's in general, it contrasts her quirk! for how shitty some of hks writing his - the intentional emotional support and strength of ochakos character when her quirk is zero gravity is something i enjoy! very similar to kirishima who has an incredibly weak emotional constitution but who's quirk is hardening.
she has a lot of character facets and she isn't ever dead weight. consistently she holds her own. she uses her quirk well and she's both noble and uplifting but not in a way that hinders her classmates at all in battle. she's extremely useful and level-headed, and is comfortably encouraging whoever needs it.
her entire arc is learning emotional vulnerability. i truly think people overlook that this one of the main things she actually admires in deku. his consistent ability to throw himself at things and make mistakes is something she wants for herself because she spent her entire upbringing trying to burden her family as little possible.
one of the most important things in her arc is her confrontation with toga humanizes villains for her entirely, something that happens entirely without deku!!!!!
of course it can be frustrating. of course it could be better and it would be lovely if deku did anything for her back (my biggest gripe with them). but im so fucking tired of people saying her character is completely bad!!!!!!!!!!!!! it just isn't! true!!!!!!!!!!!! SHE IS GREAT!!!!!!!!

What kind of costumes do you think the members of 1-A would wear on Halloween?
Midoriya would defiantly dress a All Might (multiple times), I feel like Mina would dress as an alien.
Bakugou dressed as All Might when he was younger, but I think he would choose tougher costumes as he grew up (I don't know why but the first thing that came to mind was Ash from the Evil Dead movies)
Midoriya is being All Might every single year lets be honest, and I love Mina an alien but I raise you- Mina as the alien AND the spaceship
I think Tokoyami would make one of those stilt monster costumes (which are SO cool) just to be Extra. Kaminari and Kirishima do gag couples costumes, even if they arent dating. They just think its hilarious. Sero has done a tape mummy on at Least one occasion as a last minute costume idea. Uraraka seems like the type to love onesie costumes, and to get Tsu to match with her, doing something like Winnie the Pooh and Piglet or Pikachu and Eevee. Momo goes all out on her costumes. They range greatly but she puts a lot of though into each of them
Bakugou as Ash is so funny but I can totally see it. I think he just wants an excuse to have a chainsaw hand honestly. Shinsou and Jirou would probably dress up as horror movie characters too. I could see Shinsou doing a really over the top Hannibal Lector costume (carrying around severed mannequin limbs, drenched in fake blood, etc) and Jirou going the Tokoyami route and making the creatures from a quiet place

♡✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿Obsessed✿✿✿✿✿✿✿♡︎
When you first entered U.A, you were a very distant and closed off person.
Nobody knew anything about you.
And it pissed them off to an extent.
Some were determined to know everything about you, even if that means stalking closely watching you.
At first you thought they hated you, so you kept your distance.
Until, Mina decided to gain some balls for the class and started talking to you, gaining your friendship.
“Hey! L/n, right? You’re really pretty!” She gushed, making you get flustered.
She internally squealed at your blushing face.
That was the start of your complicated friendship.
She’d come over to your dorm almost every night and hang out with you. (She did it to tell the others to not even bother, she already claimed you, but they aren’t gonna give up that easily.)
You also cuddle with her, especially when it’s cold.
The next person to befriend you was Bakugou.
Bakugou would come to your dorm to study, play games, or just to hang out with you.
You’d also sit in his lap while he did these things.
The next two people to befriend you were Todoroki and Momo.
They were already in a relationship, but they thought you’d be a perfect addition.
They helped you loosen up a bit, and let you know that it was okay to have actual human feelings.
They also watched you closely, making sure you didn’t get in trouble or hurt.
The next person was Denki.
It started off with small and innocent compliments, but then progressed into sexual flirting.
(He also saw ur boobs once and got a boner 😶)
He’s perverted, but he also makes sure you’re comfortable.
He won’t do anything if you’re not okay with it.
He would never purposely make his precious darling uncomfortable.
Then it was Shoji and Tokoyami.
They came off more calm and subtle, but they are watchers and protectors.
They watch your every move. (kinda)
They just want you safe, though.
If their baby got hurt, they’d tear the world apart.
Next, we have Kirishima.
He just started hanging out with you one day.
He takes you out for lunch on the weekends.
He also gives anyone who looks at you deathstares.
Only HE should be able to look at his darling.
Next was Sero.
He would place your things high up so you’d have to ask him for help.
And when you did he’d feel so good about himself, because you asked him. And not anyone else.
The next person was Jirou.
She introduced you to her favorite music, and often plays her guitar for you.
Especially if you come to her after having a bad dream.
Next up we have Tsu, Oijirou and Hakagure.
They were already in a poly relationship when they met you, each of them falling for you and going absolutely feral for you.
They even almost killed someone for you!
Someone decided it would be funny to dump water on you, while you were wearing a WHITE shirt!
Well it turned see through and they were very angry.
Next was Deku.
He came up to you, writing in the little book about heroes, and asked you about your quirk.
You told him everything he wanted to know.
Let’s just say, he also wrote a lot of more personal….. stuff about you in a separate journal.
Next was uraraka.
She would gift you with small cute little plushies that reminded her of you.
Which was a lot because she thinks about you all the time.
Like seriously, your closet and bed are filled with plushies from her.
Not that you were complaining, though. ;)
Now it was Iida’s turn.
He would lay off of you, being less strict with you.
Still strict, but less.
He would also give you notes in the classes you were having troubles with.
He would also tutor you.
Overall just helping you get through the school year.
Next was Aoyama.
He would give you cheese that he thought was the best.
(My lactose intolerant ass is sobbing)
And he would also give you fashion advice, in the nicest way possible.
Which actually helped you a lot because you took his advice and looked like a total baddie-
The next person was Sato.
He’d make you your favorite dishes whenever you asked him.
He was your main food provider.
He made the best food (besides Katsuki) so you made sure to try and go to him every time, knowing Bakugou would make you work for the food.
Next was Kota.
He would tell the animals to watch you closely, and protect you at all costs.
You always wonder why there’s a bird outside your window every morning.
🤔 hm
At first you thought your classmates were just protective over you.
But then it got weird.
Things of yours would go missing.
You’d often feel eyes on you.
And some of your classmates demanded to know where you were going when you left and who you’d be with.
“Oh, we just wanna make sure you’re safe!”
They would say.
And for a while, you believed them.
Until you didn’t have any freedom, at all.
They always made someone go with you when going out.
They always made you give them your location.
“Oh we just care about you! We don’t want you to get hurt, that’s all.”
You stopped believing them, but you knew that they were crazy, so you acted like you didn’t care.
You even tried to escape, but Momo caught you.
You mentally cursed yourself for getting caught, and tried to make an excuse as to why you were leaving in such a hurry.
“Oh I was just going to the park.” You’d say, nervously laughing and scratching your neck.
“Oh. Well why didn’t you tell someone, sweetie!? We just want what’s best for you.” She’d smile, believing your lies. Or so you thought.
You sighed, letting a breath of relief, but your stomach dropped when she said
“Why don’t me and Todoroki come with you?” She smiled.
“I don’t know-“
“Todoroki! Come here!” She shouted out.
Todoroki came, hearing his name.
“Yes, Love?”
“Wanna go to the park with me and Y/n?”
“I’d love to.”
Momo smiled, grabbing your hand.
She gave you such a sickly sweet smile that read.
‘You can’t escape our love.’
You were stuck.
There was nothing you could do about it.
You were theirs and they were never letting you go.

my number 1
katsuki bakugou x reader
🪶 you lived most of you life clinging on to the sentiment that pro heroes make terrible partners. but one single angry blonde man was going to prove you wrong.
- warnings: not much warning just fluff
extra: i’ve been contemplating whether to post this. not super sure how good this one is but i found the idea kinda cute.
if there’s one thing your mother had warned you about is to never fall for a pro hero.
no matter how close you are with said pro hero, never ever catch feelings for them.
you’d frequently catch yourself asking your mother why and she’d reply, “they only ever care about their career than anyone else”.
although you knew that those words came from a place of hurt and spite, your mother’s words always lingered at the back of your head.
why were pro heroes such terrible lovers? your father was a hero once before retiring. yet your mother still loved him albeit giving him plenty of chances.
so why the hostility?
same question everytime you catch yourself staring at a particular soon to be pro hero.
katsuki bakugou.
all the questions but never a single answer.
“your thoughts are really loud,” your head abruptly turned to mina who was currently filling her nails. you huffed and leaned back into the sofa. closing your eyes, you took a breather to regain your thoughts.
“are you sure you’re okay? you’ve been off since the last hero training,” this time it was jirou who pipped in with a concerning look on her face.
“i’m fine. totally fine. absolutely awesome,” you started mumbling towards the end. this was you convincing yourself that you are okay.
“y/n, sweetie. you’re sounding like midoriya,” momo plopped beside you with a plate of cut of fruits which you took one to calm the nerves.
munching on the apple, you did your best relax. being tense over a situation that hasn’t occurred won’t do good to anyone.
you turned to the girls again and with one long and deep breathe, you readied yourself.
“i’ve got boy troubles,” not a second after your confession, the girls started cheering out loud. the commotion managed to gather the attention of the boys who were currently frolicking in the backyard.
“tell us all the deets! who? when? is it someone from U.A? let me guess! kirishima!”
“no he’s not y/n’s type. maybe sero!”
“or shoto. calm, respectful. mama’s boy!”
you let them make their guesses. at least they were open to the idea of mysterious guy being from your class. the girls continued making guesses.
“it’s bakugou,”
crickets. pure silence. jaw agape on mina and jirou. tsu had her eyebrows raised. momo and ochako had their mouths covered and hagakure just looked… confused.
“it’s bad, isn’t it? oh gosh, why did i say anything?” you smushed your face into your pillow and screamed. the hot blush on your face spreading as you let your embarrassment out. you felt a soft hand on your back, prompting you to look up.
you knew for a fact that bakugou was a force not to be reckoned with. he’s hostile, rough. he wants to make it on his own alone. he was most probably the hero your mother told you not to mess with.
and you knew that his only main goal is to be pro hero number one. this meant he had no time for long lasting romance or stupid crushes.
“girl, you know how he is. we’ll support you all the way! whatever you need, we’re here!” mina comforted, making the slight weight on your chest disperse. you let out a long sigh before turning your head to the window.
there he was, trying to beat up kirishima and midoriya once again.
“do you guys think it’s a bad idea to keep holding on?” you thoughts has manifested its way as a question to your close friends.
“i can’t say for sure. but right now, graduating from U.A and becoming heroes is important,” this time it was jirou to talk some sense.
silence filled the air again as the girl’s continued what they were doing before you said anything.
you sat there, feeling mina’s hands run through your hair, tying it up in different possibilities.
you were left with your thoughts again. and before you knew it, you were alone on the couch, staring at the plain wall.
maybe now you did understand where your mother was coming from. it was a personal advice. she was projecting the one thing she couldn’t do on you.
your father was a workaholic. coming home at the dead of night, bruises scattered around his body. usually you’d here your mom scolding your dad during those days, telling him that one day his job would be the reason he won’t come home anymore.
“what are you doing up, nerd?” you heard a rough voice call from behind you. you shuffle and turn towards the source to see bakugou digging through the fridge.
he pulls out two cans of coke, most probably one for you.
“y’know. thinking and stuff,” you muttered a small thank you as he passed you a can. bakugou sits besides.
for a few seconds, the sizzle of the coke cans were the only thing filling the air.
“stuff? tell me,” your eyebrows raised and a small smile reached your face. bakugou wanted to hear what you were thinking. but it’s gonna be hard since your thoughts were centered around him.
“no just… just boys,”
“oh. so a boy, huh? who is the lucky nerd?” he seemed to be interested, a small smirk on his face. you huffed with a soft smile on your face.
“yeah… he’s in the hero course. quite unfortunate, actually,” the last part was a little mumbled, as you recall everything your mother has ever told you.
“ha? unfortunate?” it was bakugou’s way of asking ‘why is dating a guy from the hero course bad?’. and to which you didn’t want to answer.
“it’s just. my mom used to tell me that dating a hero would be terrible. since she’s married to one,” not many people knew that your father was a pro hero once. he was one of the underground heroes like your sensei so he wasn’t heard much.
but bakugou knew. for some reason he knew everything.
“heh why? isn’t it cool to date a hero?”
“she used to say that heroes care more about their jobs than their personal lives,”
bakugou seemed more interested than usual. in all honesty, you expected him to just wave off the conversation and call it a night.
but tonight, when all the lights in the common room are off and the only source of brightness is the moon, he stayed to listen to your lingering problems.
“my dad used to come home injured, like most heroes do. and they would fight about it,”
if there was one topic your parents were always on about, it’s the fact that my dad’s career choice was affecting you in the sense that you wanted to be a hero too.
they’d go on and on about it to the point where even thunderstorms would sound much more pleasing than anything else.
“i knew she cared for him. and that all she wanted was for her family to be as one,”
“then what?”
bakugou always knew when you were holding back. it can be terrifying at times if you really didn’t want to talk.
“a villian got to him. one that he couldn’t take. thankfully for him, some other hero stepped in and in the end he only got injuries,”
“but it was enough for him to retire for the whole hero thing. he finally understood where my mom was coming from,”
bakugou nodded in understanding.
“so what does this have to do with boys?”
you chuckled at the question realising you had rambled on and on but didn’t get to the point. something about nighttimes always get people to confess their deepest feelings.
“this guy wants to be a hero. and he’s passionate about it that sometimes, he puts it before others,”
you didn’t want to turn to look at the boy. you just couldn’t. if you faced bakugou, you might just spill your deepest secret. which was the fact that the guy was him.
“my dad was an exception. he only realised how much his family meant when he got beated. but i can’t say the same for other heroes,”
and that’s when your mother’s sentiment hit you. not all heroes were capable of changing their lives and placing more priority on something other than saving the world.
you had seen it with other heroes, much less your own father. there was proof that some heroes strive to be the greatest without even batting an eyelash to the people they love.
“how sure are you that he doesn’t place people over his goal?”
because you so desperately want to be pro hero n°1.
“because i know him. more than i want to,” you peeked at him to gauge his reaction. realising that he wasn’t even looking at you, you sighed and look away.
“whoever this guy is, if he doesn’t put you as his first priority, he’s missing out,”
the genuineness of his voice caught you off guard. you didn’t mean to garner that reaction out of him. bakugou actually being nice to any of his classmates is one of the rarest thing ever. if he was caught being nice, you best bet that something good was going to happen.
“when did you become such a softie?” you teased, punching his arm playfully. he rubbed it, acting as if it actually hurt him. you giggled and leaned back into the sofa. “we won’t speak of this again, brat,” you playfully pouted.
“what about you? any girls you fancy? or guys, i don’t judge,” bakugou rolled his eyes and flipped you off.
“there is one. and she looks pretty under the moon,” you were taken aback by his statement. it was odd for him to say such a thing. so poetic.
“when did you start being so deep? you’ve been reading shoto’s poetry haven’t you?” again, another tease.
bakugou sarcastically laughed, tilting his head to rest on the sofa. “so who is it? is she from the hero course? our class?” you were guessing so you could supress the burning jealousy within you.
“what are you? sherlock? i’m not gonna tell you if you don’t tell me,” so a one for one deal? that was not something you could fully agree on, especially when this other girl look better in the moon than you did.
“not gonna happen, boom boy. plus, i don’t care! like whoever you wanna like,” bakugou was now giving you a questioning look. he’s coming onto you and you just know it.
there was just peaceful silence between the two of you now. nothing but the moon shining on the two of you and the finished coke cans…
moon. the moon is shining on the two of you. you looked down to your legs and realised that the moon was illuminating your skin. your eyes snapped open.
the girls he likes looks pretty under the moon. you’re under the moon. could be a far stretch but how many girls has bakugou seen under the moon?
probably a lot but it’s not like you were aware of it. right now both of you were under the moon. are you right to think this way?
“did you figure it out already or do i need to give me clues?” you jerked your head to the boy who was showing off his signature smirk.
you were quite sure that his reaction had just proved your assumption. you felt a slight heat reach your face. thank goodness for the lights being off.
“bakugou, i swear. don’t joke around!” bakugou let out a small chuckle at the nervous expression on your face.
it’s your third year! and for about a year and a half, you’ve had a crush on him. it doesn’t help that he’s on of the top three students in the school.
put aside his brash behaviour, he had fangirls too. maybe another reason why dating a pro hero might be a bad choice.
“y’know i’m a pretty straightforwardly guy. but watching you get nervous is… cute,”
cute? there was no way you actually heard it right. those 4 letters could never come out of bakugou’s mouth. it’s just physically impossible.
“i don’t think i could ever put someone i love after my career,” he begins, looking straight at you this time. his lingering gaze practically felt like your skin was itching.
“especially if that person is you, y/n. i mean, you’re special,” you could tell he didn’t want to say the last sentence out loud. bakugou never calls anyone special. it was just not in his nature.
“are you… confessing to me?”
he huffs, standing up right infront of you. you were met with his hand reached out to you. his face was looking the opposite direction, probably so that you couldn’t see his blush.
“stand up, brat,” he urges, pushing his hand further into your face. you took his hand and was promptly pulled up.
bakugou tugs you to the backyard, where the both of you were now fully under the moon.
“i do like you. about a year now actually. ‘s just you were practically surrounded by guys, i couldn’t compete,” he admitted, eyes on the moon. you felt his hand tighten around yours.
one thing is for sure, however. bakugou looks beautiful under the moon.
“i never knew you had something against dating pro heroes,” he started once again, filling the silence. “but i meant it when i said i would put you first,”
“being n°1 has been my dream. but being with you is a whole different story,” you giggled at his statement which quickly caught his attention. soon, the same grumpy expression took over his face causing you to giggle more.
“yeah laugh all you want, nerd. i’m trying to be romantic,” he grumbled, looking the other way. “didn’t peg you to be the romantic kind. it’s a fresh look,” you teased which cause him to frown more with a tint of red.
it was cute that he was embarrassed. you don’t get to see much of that from him.
“i’m glad you feel that way. because i like you too and stuff,” you pouted, looking away because a wash of nervousness came over you. you felt his hand squish yours tighter which causes you to yelp.
then it turned to both of you laughing with one another. to see his soft smile as both of you relaxed was refreshing.
“but i’d never step in your way of being number one,” you knew how important it was for bakugou. everyone knew it was. so for you to tell him he couldn’t just to be with you is beyond selfish.
“it’s my decision to put you at the top of my list, starlight,”
you were caught off guard by the nickname he gave you. your head turned too him and saw his eyes almost bulging out. from what you can gather, he didn’t mean to call you that.
you squeeze his hand as a signal that you were okay with it.
“you look pretty in the moonlight too,” you softly spoke, gaining his full attention once again.
“go out with me. on a date,”
and there is was. you waited a year and more for those words to hopefully fall out of his mouth. your eyes blinked a few times before a huge smile took over your face.
“y-yes! of course. duh! i mean-”
“you’re rambling. sounding a little like deku,”
one after the other, your arms wrapped around his neck and his arms were around your waist to hold you as support.
for once, bakugou actually gave in into a hug and tucked himself in. a few snaps could later we heard and flash. you turn to the door to the backyard to see the whole class staring at the both of you.
and to top off, aizawa-sensei, all might, present mic and midnight. how great. just your damn luck.
“this is too precious to let go! who wants soft bakugou pics?!” mina exclaimed and a whole chorus of ‘yes’ and ‘me’ replies her.
as for the adults. aizawa-sensei looks like he’s proud but also like he wants sleep. all might has a thumbs up directed to bakugou. present mic and midnight look like a proud uncle and aunt.
“oh piss off! you guys ruin the moment!” bakugou spoke up first, seeing that you were frozen in the moment.
“good job, bakubro! was about time!” that sentence coming out from a few of the guys in the class. the girls gave you a thumbs up in support.
“just get to bed. all of you,” aizawa-sensei sighed, moving out of the way, dragging the rest of the adults with him too.
this prompted everyone else to leave too, with gleaming smiles on their faces. you watched as everyone cleared out, leaving the two of you alone again.
“that was.. overwhelming,”
bakugou chuckled, pulling you in once again. you could smell his sweet after shower smell and nuzzled in more.
you definitely will get used to this.
“my mom’s going to freak when she finds out i’m dating a soon to be hero,” you whined, thinking about the way your mom would not approve of this new found relationship.
“then i’ll prove it to her that even with my career, i will always adore you the same way,”
you hummed in appreciation. to you, bakugou didn’t need to prove anything to anyone. he meant what he said and you trusted him to that extent.
“let’s head to bed. i’m tired,” you linked you arm together with his. with one last look, you felt like you could cherish this moment forever.
“yeah, let’s go,”
maybe your mom was wrong about dating a pro hero. but it might just be bakugou. and that you were thankful for.

Kirideku headcanons because they’re my favorite and I am ✨mentally ill✨:
Gym dates. Dude,, they’re so supportive 😭
Listen, it just starts normal, and then “you’re so strong” “thanks, bro, you’re so manly!” “Aw, thank you, you’re so sweet!” “🥺💙 you’re so smart” “well, you’re so-“
Please help Uraraka. She is tired of their shit. She loves them, and she wants them to be happy, but goddamn. How sappy can too fools be?!
Study dates
Izuku once a gave kiri a bouquet of weights (my siblings idea, not mine, but one that I love)
Kiri helps comfort izuku after he has nightmares
Kirishima is trans. I will not accept anything else. Izuku reminds him how manly he is whenever he feels dysphoric
I talked about this in my rare pair post which you can find here (if I remember to link it) but, they ran into each other one night in the common room, izuku had woken up from a nightmare and kirishima was getting some water. Izuku was lightly dozing and kiri was like “hey, you want me to carry you to your room?” And they get to talking until the morning. Sero finds them there next morning and he knows what is going to happen 👁👁 Sero knows all
They are practically inseparable after a few weeks. Kiri called izuku when he was having a panic attack one time, and then the two stuck together like glue. The kiricrew and izucrew became the kiridekrew (curtesy of Uraraka)
Kiri knows he has a crush on izuku first, and he starts trying to hint at his feelings. Sadly for class A, izuku is incredibly dense when it comes to people liking him
Todoroki accidentally makes izuku realize that he has a crush on kiri by mentioning love languages. Izuku’s is words of affirmation, and kiri’s is gift giving. Shouto mentions that their love languages are very complimentary, and that they work well together.
Izuku is flustered and spends ye rest of the day like, “oh no”
He texts the izucrew group chat a 911, and they’re over in an instant
He tells them, and Uraraka is like “congrats, you’re officially the last one to know!”
Izuku is confused, and she explains that everyone knows. There is even a betting pool going around ua. Midnight and Sero started it.
They tell him that kirishima 10000000% likes him back, but our boy izuku has ridiculously low self esteem me too, buddy So he hides his feelings
Lucky for ua, kirishima is very intuitive! He also has low self esteem though.
Buuuuuuuuut, with both of them trying, class a and the extended members in the izucrew decide that their pining has gone on long enough. Mina and Uraraka orchestrated the operation
Operation get the lover bois to express their emotions
Shouldn’t be hard right? Both are very in tune with their emotions, we love to see it, right?
Yes actually! :D
They talk, and end up falling asleep cuddling! Both their phones have been blown up with texts
“You’ve been in there for hours, how’s it going????”
“DID YOU DIE????”
“If you died, who do I kill to avenge you? Because I can’t see kiri/izuku doing anything to hurt you :/“
“KIRI, CHECK YOUR PHONEEEEEEE”
“Izuku, did you commit a felony again??? Should we get Present Mic or Mr. Aizawa?”
“Kiri, if you died, can I have your hair dye?”
“Come out come out, you little shits! Literally. Come out and tell us how it went, we’ve been waiting here for hours”
“If you’re not out in five minutes, um eating ALL the ice cream”
“^^ They’ll do it, they’re crazy”
They leave izuku’s dorm the next morning to find the entire class + extended izucrew members in the kitchen staring at them.
The students note the hands being held and the kitchen erupts
Iida and momo telling everyone to quite down, Mina and toru are asking for the details, kami, sato, Aoyama, Jirou, mei, and sero are hyping them up
Uraraka and monoma are offering death threats
Tokoyami, Shouto, koda, shoji, ojiro, and tsu are just silently supporting them
It’s chaos
Classes that day are fun. They make a bet to see how long it takes for the teachers to find out
Sero and Mina tell midnight about it of course, they just ask her to keep it quite.
Izuku tells toshinori on accident
Mic finds out within the hour. He knows all, sees all. He mentions it to Aizawa that night who just goes, “weren’t they already a thing?”
No; Aizawa, no they were not 😔
They are not though!!!
They actually don’t become a duo, they feel like they’d be able to help more people if they worked separately and covered different shifts.
They’re both very high remaking heroes though, and are deeply loved by the public
Best bois

Mina X Gender Neutral Reader X Ochako
"You're making your fixation on them painfully obvious" You jumped three feet in the air at the voice who whispered in your ear. You turned to see Izuku smirking at you teasingly. You felt like smacking him.
"Why do you always sneak up on me like that?" You huffed facing away from Mina and Ochako who were talking about something on Mina's phone. It made you a little jealous that you weren't part of that but, you would never interfere with their atmosphere unless given explicit consent. Which you haven't received.
"You're easy to scare." You yelped again looking over at Shoto's poker face. The bastard. He was Izuku's shadow so you really should have expected him.
"Great you're here too, where's Iida and Tsu I know they are nearby." You looked around spotting the two of them at the dining room table eating and talking together. They made a cute couple, unexpected but, cute nevertheless. "At least they won't be giving me a heart attack." You turned back to the two boys who took seats in front of you with their own food.
"Honestly I am surprised that they haven't noticed your staring, I mean even I noticed." You rolled your eyes playfully at him.
"That's because you pretend to be dense to avoid getting into confrontations that you want no part of." You took pride in the way he choked on his food and Shoto smirked lightly into his soba. You swear that's all the boy ever eats but, no one really has the heart to complain about it besides Bakugo. Well, Bakugo complains and screams about everything so maybe he doesn't even count.
"We are not here to talk about me, we are here to talk about your painfully obvious crushes on the two girls over there giggling." He discreetly pointed to Ochako and Mina who were in each other's bubbles laughing about whatever they were talking about. You stared at them again but forced yourself to look away before you got caught and you knew Mina would make a scene about it. You really really liked her but, she was more about big things and making scenes. She influenced Ochako heavily and now the two of them together were just a pure menace.
"I am too scared for that, the two of you know this. How are you even sure if they are poly?" The look the two of them gave you made you look down at your food "I'm just saying..."
"So, we just going to pretend like they didn't try to bring Momo into the relationship? But, then she found out she's in a poly ship with Jirou and Denki already?" The way you choked on your food and the noise it produced was concerning.
"Oh, so you didn't know." You shook your head wildly after guzzling down some water.
"When, where, and how did that even happen? I didn't even know Momo was their type." If they were interested in Momo then what the fuck made you think you had a chance. You kept that little tidbit to yourself though knowing Shoto and Izuku wouldn't take nicely to you degrading yourself.
"Me neither but, then again it's not even about looks, it's the compatibility of personalities." Shoto had a point and you knew he was a stickler about personality not looks courtesy of his shitty father.
"Besides they're still looking for a compatible third so this might be your time to shine." You felt your heart almost beat out of your chest. You were hearing everything that was being said to you and your heart was excited about you having a chance but, your treacherous brain was being negative. You wanted to give yourself a chance, you wanted to maybe be the third they are looking for. If you turn out to not be the third they want then you can cry to yourself and find comfort with Izuku and Shoto in the form of movies, food, and of course sparring.
"I'm not going to lie, I am very nervous about all of this but, I guess it's worth a try." You were mulling over the possibilities and either way you look at it, it can either be in your favor or it can't. If it's in your favor then you end up with two girlfriends, if it's not in your favor then you stay single, and once over your crushes, you can start looking for someone else, or two other people if there is a possibility. "Even if it doesn't work out they won't be mean about shutting me down and we can still probably be friends after the initial awkwardness passes." They both seemed pleased with the conclusion.
"I don't think it will go bad but, if it does me and Izuku will have food and movies." You smiled at that. He was still monotone but with Izuku's support, he was learning about social cues and how to incorporate emotion into what he was saying. He still has a lot of work and his therapist is helping him as well so, in the long run, he was going to be fine.
"Thanks, guys..." The three of you continued to eat and once you guys were done the three of you decided to head up to Shoto's dorm and read some manga. Right before you left, the bakusquad announced that they were going to have a movie night that everyone was going to attend- that included Bakugo and Shinsou. After the announcement, the three of you got settled in Shoto's room grabbing separate manga.
"I think you can make a move tonight." You glanced up and over at Izuku who hadn't looked away from the manga he was reading. You squinted at him quizzically
"I think that's a bit too soon, don't you think?" You were not expecting Shoto to answer
"You have been pining over them for months, it's not too soon." You had felt called out and it didn't help that Izuku had busted out laughing at that making you pout.
"I preferred when you were emotionally constipated and you were shy." You got a startled chuckle out of Shoto which surprised you even more than Izuku laughing even harder. You hate both of them so much.
"You love us and you know it." Confident asshole. "Seriously though, we just want you to be happy and I'm pretty sure it's going to be fine but, there is nothing wrong with you initiating contact first." You looked at him and looked at him well. Then you looked over at Shoto. They both knew something that you didn't know and it wasn't appreciated.
"I don't appreciate the way you two know something that I don't." They simply shrugged making you huff. The rest of the time was spent with light banter and reading before you and Izuku left to get ready for movie night. About half an hour later you had gone downstairs to see half the class was already there. You looked and saw Mina and Ochako already on the couch on one end and you were going to sit somewhere else when Izuku's voice echoed in your head. Breathing in and out to strengthen your resolve you walked over to the couch and sat in the middle-ish. It wasn't on the other end but, you weren't too close to them to make it too obvious.
"Y/N!" You turned to them smiling briefly at the matching grins they sent you "You actually came down, I didn't think you would come." You chuckled a bit at that.
"Well since Bakugo and Shinsou were going to be here I knew for a fact I wasn't exempt." You turned away from them trying to think of something to say before you felt yourself being yanked. You yelped unaware of what was happening before realizing you were sandwiched between Mina and Ochako. So much for being brave. "W-what are you." Mina shushed you with a pink finger to the lips.
"We are cuddling!" She said it as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. She was leaning against the arm of the couch and you had your back to her chest with her arms wrapped snuggly around your chest area. In front of you, Ochako had laid on your lower body in between your legs with her head resting on her stomach.
"This is fine right Y/N?" They both were looking at you waiting for you to respond. You licked your lips praying you didn't make a fool of yourself when you spoke.
"This is more than alright." They both smirked before holding you a little tighter. Oh God, how did you end up between them? You felt the hard muscle Mina worked hard for and the muscles of Ochako's arms around your hip, and lower belly area were making you do cartwheels in your head. This felt so right and dammit if they were comfortable you were going to get comfy. You completely snuggled into their embrace choosing to enjoy it as much as you can. A few minutes later you saw Izuku and Shoto come down and sit on the love seat giving you smug looks. You chose to ignore them and watch the movie that just started. It was pretty good and halfway through it, Mina started playing with your hair and face. It was nice so you simply snuggled a bit more into her chest. You glanced down at Ochako who was playing with your hands rubbing circles and intertwining your fingers with her. You didn't know what was going on but, you were living for it. When the movie was done you were almost asleep and you noticed that everyone was getting up to leave except the three of you. Not that you were complaining since you were too comfortable. Once everyone left and it was the three of you the serene atmosphere was broken by Ochako
"You know we are poly right Y/N?" You turned down to face Ochako who was already looking at you
"Yes." You don't know why but the energy created was something you didn't recognize but, you enjoyed it.
"Do you know we are looking for a third?" It was Mina this time and she hasn't stopped playing with your hair and face as she spoke. You had an idea of where this was going and had to bite your lip to keep from blurting out yes.
"I didn't know." Play dumb, play safe. Let them say it first. You felt more crowded but, it was comfortable and safe. You felt like nothing can come between the three of you at this moment.
"Well, now that you know...Would you like to be our third?" You audibly gasped and before your brain can catch up with your mouth you were already speaking.
"Yes, oh my God, I can't believe this is happening. I have been pining after the two of you for months and never thought this could be possible." You said that all in one breath only to stop at the feel of lips on your temple.
"I'm glad that the feelings are mutual." You felt Ochako shift to get more directly in your face.
"We can take this slow, we can get to know each other more, each other's cues, rules, and everything else in between." You can hear the excitement in both of their voices when they spoke and, honestly? You were just as excited.
"I can't wait." And really you couldn't.

Aight so after ch.322 have we considered:
1-A Cuddle Pile
——————————————————————————
They get Midoriya back to the dorms. They clean him up, set up his room, feed him, bring him some tea, and leave him to go to sleep. He’s been quiet the whole time.
But who’s going to watch him? He might bolt.
Aoyama has volunteered to watch the balcony. They’re outside his door debating if someone should stay in with him or just man the hallway. Should they do shifts?
Then up struts Bakugou, re-treated and freshly bandaged. No one even questions him when he mutters “I got this” and just goes in. There’s some talking and then silence.
First ones to go check on them in a couple hours is the Bakusquad (mostly b/c they have no concept of personal space). Kirishima and Kaminari go first to find Midoriya passed out with puffy red eyes on Bakugou’s chest, clinging to him.
He’d been crying. HARD.
Bakugou had been dozing, but eyes them the SECOND they walk in. After the “what the hell are you doing in here?” and the shushing, they settle down around the room. Bakugou takes the opportunity to shimmy out from under Midoriya to use the bathroom. His “idiots” can watch him for a minute or 2 right?
He comes back and they have IMMEDIATELY taken Bakugou’s spot. He whisper screams at them to get the hell OFF they’re going to wake him up and they’re just like. “No.”
They argue that Bakugou is hogging Midoriya, and it’s their turn. He argues with them, insisting that there are no such things as “Cuddle Turns” and he’s going to bbq them if they don’t move in 3 seconds. After a bunch of shuffling and elbows and face shoving, Bakugou’s wedged himself back into his spot with Midoriya hugging him again.
So they’re like “fine. Then we’re cuddling the both of you now” and proceed to do so, much to Bakugou’s irritation. Then in come Mina and Sero to grab the other two, b/c they figured they were being annoying.
But then they see the start of the cuddle pile.
Well who are THEY to refuse a good Cuddle Pile? And a Midoriya Cuddle Pile to boot! So into the pile they go!
Next is Aoyama, who hears all the movement and whisper yelling from the other room. He comes in through the balcony and doesn’t even question it, just joins the pile.
One by one, the entirety of 1-A starts trickling in to see what the hell was going on and why anyone who went to check on Midoriya just. Didn’t come back.
Hagakure, Oijiro, Tsu, Sato, Shoji, Jirou, Momo, Koda, even Tokoyami.
Uraraka had been on the couch, warring with herself on whether or not to go in and disturb Midoriya. Same with Todoroki and Iida. Mineta was curious, but kind of on the fence too.
Suddenly Todoroki stands up and is like, “that’s it, I’m checking on him”, and Iida initially tries to stop him, insisting Bakugou is watching him and they need to let him rest.
As they go, they hear no one else on the hall. Did they all go back to their rooms? It had been a long day, they were probably tired, right? No news is good news?
Todoroki is the one to knock, quietly opening the door when no one answers. He figured as much.
“Pardon the intru-“ he stops dead, and the other three behind him peek over his shoulders to see what he’s staring at.
The entirety of 1-A is snuggled up in and around Midoriya’s room, ALL asleep, ALL either touching some part of Midoriya or someone who was.
Oijiro was curled up around Kaminari with his tail wrapped around Midoriya’s leg. Tsu and Hagakure were snuggled up on Mina, who was on Midorya’s back (she had been patting it). Jirou and Momo were by Midoriya’s feet, that now suspiciously had fluffy socks on them. Tokoyami was asleep on the floor against the bed with a tiny Dark Shadow resting on Midoriya’s head. Shoji had moved the All Might clock and was sitting on the bed ledge with tentacle ears to listen for any disturbances. Sato was stretched out along the floor. Koda was asleep against the balcony door next to Tokoyami.
Iida was about to say something, but Todoroki moved first, unceremoniously depositing himself in the nearest free space closest to Midoriya, which was by Momo and Jirou. He put Midoriya’s feet in his lap and IMMEDIATELY fell asleep. No questions asked. Uraraka was next, joining the Tsu, Hagakure, Mina pile. Mineta, for once, didn’t go straight for the girl pile. Instead, he climbed up with Shoji, and snuggled into an arm pocket.
Iida was at a loss until he spied Bakugou from under the giant pile of snuggles. The look he gave Iida very clearly said “GET THEM OFF ME, DO SOMETHING”
So Iida smiled and parked himself at the foot of the bed on the floor, and went to sleep as well.
——————————————————————————
Note: I didn’t mean for this to turn into a fic, but here we are.
For those of you wondering why the Dekusquad didn’t go in first, and that’s b/c I did this more in the order of most tactile to least tactile. The Dekusquad are probably the most worried, but sometimes are too polite when it comes to personal bubbles. They know and trust Bakugou to keep a close eye on him. So they probably were trying to hold back from causing Midoriya any more stress. He was just going to sleep right? And of course they’d be there if anything happens.
But the Bakusquad has almost NO regard to personal boundaries. They can’t if they hang with Bakugou. And it’s all from a loving caring place. They’re just really tactile people, and I love them for it. They’d be the first looking for cuddles. They’re THOSE friends.
So yeah, that’s why 😁.
