5 tips for proofreading & their pros and cons
Define your objectives for each chapter. In my case, some of my chapters are better written than others. My objectives for them will differ. Before starting my proofreading, I list my needs and areas of improvements, and I write them down somewhere so I have them in front of me rather than in my head alone.
Pros : allows you to know which points you need to focus on ; provides a guideline adapted to your needs.
Cons : risk of losing homogeneity and fluidity + flaws may be shifted to other chapters that didn't have them before due to a sudden imbalance.
Plan several proofreading sessions, each one of them addressing ONE NEED AT A TIME. (E.g., one for grammar, another for style, and a final one for coherence. ) And I insist on the "one need at a time" part. Even for those who can multitask (unlike me), I really don't recommend settling for a single proofreading session. It could interfere with your concentration and let you skip some flaws. And please, always give your chapter a final read after your edits to ensure that the elements make sense as a whole, and are not repeated every two paragraphs (I plead guilty, your honor)
Pros: allows you to focus precisely on each point, and give it dedicated attention.
Cons: you can quickly get confused and risk multiple re-readings + significant time investment.
I make my corrections on a separate file. Whatever you do, it's always better to have a backup and therefore to save your files (don't blindly trust autosave) to create archives. I think it's a two-ways process : 1) you open two files simultaneously, one with your V1 and one, blank, where you'll rewrite your chapter as you make changes. Eventually, this new doc will become your V2 ; 2) you copy the parts to proofread into a new document and edit directly in there.
Pros: allows you to rewrite as you wish without being discouraged by the following paragraphs - especially in case of the first way.
Cons: requires multiple files (maybe multiple screens to be at ease) and better organization.
Change the typography. I don't know about you, but after a while, I'm struck by semantic satiation (click on the link - it's Wikipedia -, it's very interesting) and nothing makes sense anymore. After the 52,846th proofreading, I might as well read in another language. I've found a relatively effective trick - not as effective as a complete break, but sometimes you need to move forward - which consists of changing the typography. I can't remember who gave me this advice though, but be sure they've been thanked more than enough in my mind. In any case, seeing words change their shape significantly helps my brain to stay focused and attentive. (Maybe it's just my mind playing tricks on me but I only see the results.)
Pros: it's simple to implement.
Cons: I don't know if this trick works for everyone or if I'm the only weirdo (you can tell me in the comment section).
Take notes. This is a very personal tip but I keep a proofreading logbook. Like, I record in a few sentences the first time an element is mentioned, how it's describes, and most importantly… I MENTION THE DATES. The story I'm currently writing is heavily governed by a chronological system, so I have an absolute need to keep the day count up to date.
Pros: helps avoid inconsistencies and oversights.
Cons: very tedious to maintain and creates (a lot) of extra work.
I've started my prooreading journey yesterday and I already want to die. If I find in the edits something that is worth making a post, be sure that I will. Or let me know if you're simply curious.
Gentle reminder : Best is the worst enemy of good so, at some point, you'll have to let it go and let your chapter live its life to its fullest. Don't be hard on yourself and be proud of your work - or know that I am.

Chapter One: West Bridgewater
Paring: Ransom Drysdale x Fabiola Rossi (OC)
Rating: This story will mostly be rated 18+ as it is revolves around a relationship that is Dominant/submissive. For each chapter, I will do my best to rate it accordingly, but please know that the overall story will have very adult themes.
Warnings: None for this chapter
Word Count: 2,305
Description: Huge “Ransom” Drysdale always thought of himself as a powerful man. With his family’s money and status, Ransom could get away with anything. He had the power and control others would envy. Ransom could get any woman he wanted with a snap of his fingers. He was always in charge. He commanded attention. And he hated it. Never having a job in his life (thanks to his mother, father, and grandfather always there to supplement his bank account) or any real-life goals, Ransom felt incomplete and directionless. That is until Fabiola Rossi entered his life and turned it completely upside down.
A/N: I have not seen Knives Out. This is an AU of that world. I do not own any of the characters created by Rian Johnson. I have always thought of Ransom as a sub rather than a Dominant and this idea has been on my mind constantly that I needed to write it down. Anything in italics are to represent Ransom’s thoughts.
I do not permit any of my fics to be distributed on other sites without my permission.
Updated for grammar and punctuation edits.
What is a dominant-submissive relationship all about? As mentioned previously, there is an energy dynamic between the two partners. It is the Dominant’s duty to protect and guide his or her submissive. The submissive, also called “the bottom,” relinquishes some or all control to the Dominant. He or she is playing out their own kinds and fetishes through the guidance of a Dominant. No actions or scenes can be played out unless the submissive has consented to everything the Dominant plans to do during a play session. A D/s relationship is not solely about sexual activities but exploring new and interesting ways to connect beyond sex. For example, the Dominate can set up simple rules that the submissive must follow, such as asking permission to stay out late or have ice cream for dessert. A healthy D/s relationship can lead to a life of self-improvement.
“You got some mouth on you…I bet a ball gag would fit nicely around those pretty lips of yours.”
For some reason, Ransom could not get that comment out of his head. It was so unexpected and out of leftfield. He never had a woman said anything so bold towards him. No stranger to bondage with the opposite sex, it was always Ransom who was the one in charge. Women were more than happy for him to lead the charge. It was the only time Ransom was ever put to work, so to speak. Fabiola Rossi had managed to not only mystify the spoiled playboy, but he was not determined to find out more about her.
So, Ransom did one any person in their mid-30s did when trying to find information about another person, he stalked her social media. He came up short. No Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram that he could find of her unless they were private.
“This is Fabiola Rossi. She is an inspiring editor herself. I have taken her under my wing as a mentor.” Ransom remembered from the night before when creepy old Charlie Van Houten introduced his grandfather and him to Fabiola.
Of course, Fabiola had a LinkedIn page as she was a young working professional. Ransom saw that she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English and a minor in Psychology at Boston University. He noticed it had only been five years since she graduated from the university, so he suspected she was in her late twenties. Most of the jobs Fabiola received were internships or part-time positions. Not unusual for graduates looking to enter into the workforce. There was not much to offer due to the Baby Boomers not wanting to retire or companies being stingy with providing decent living wages or health benefits.
“Intern. Van Houten & Thompson Publishing. March 2019 to current. Performs proofreading and editing of manuscripts and additional documents before the final publication,” Ransom read out loud as he continued to look through Fabiola’s profile.
He got up to reach for his coat to pull out his wallet. Inside was a business card of Charlie’s that he gave Ransom before leaving his grandfather’s party. Charlie told Ransom to keep in touch and that they both could talk about possibly working together.
“If you have been working on anything, send it over. In fact, send it over to Fabiola. She’d probably love to read it and give you feedback. Give him your email address, honey. Any work you send over to her will be in great hands,” Ransom remembered Charlie saying to him last night. He looked over the business card and traced his thumb over Fabiola’s handwriting of her email address.
He could not understand why this particular woman intrigued him so, despite only meeting her briefly the night before. However, Ransom knew he had an itch to scratch, and it was better to get it taken care of now before things got too out of hand. Before he became too obsessed.
Turning on his laptop, he waited for it to boot up. Opening his email account, Ransom began composing a new email to Fabiola. He kept it short and simple by asking if she was still up looking over what he was currently working on.
Hi Ms. Rossi,
It was a pleasure meeting you last night. Hope you are doing well. If you are not too busy, do you mind if I send over the story I am currently working on? I do not want to impose if your schedule is too busy, but Charlie had such high praise for you, and I would appreciate the feedback and insight from you.
Talk to you soon,
Ransom
He clicked the ‘send’ button and waited. Thankfully, he did not have to wait too long for a response back.
Hi Ransom,
I am so glad you reached out. Please call me Fabiola.
Yes, I would be more than happy to beta read anything you send over.
Sincerely,
Fabiola
“Hook, line, and sinker,” Ransom said to himself with a smirk plastering over his face. He knew exactly which of his work he would send over. It was one Ransom had finished a while back. A story about the measures of what a mother would do to prove her child’s innocence when they are accused of a crime. It was one of his more personal pieces of work. He was somewhat anxious to get feedback on it. He sent it over to Fabiola as an attachment. Now, Ransom was in wait and see mode. ‘Who knows how long until she gets to actually reading it,’ he thought to himself.
Three long agonizing days later, Ransom finally heard back from Fabiola when he checked his email that afternoon.
Ransom,
How are you?
Sorry I have not gotten back to you sooner. Your story is amazing! I could not put it down. I actually read it twice. It had me on the edge of my seat the entire time and had a lot of heart. You are such a good writer.
I do have some suggestions for you if you do not mind. However, I do not want to merely give them to you via email or comments in the document. Would it be okay if the two of us meet up for coffee sometime this week? It would be easier to talk to you about the recommendations face-to-face.
Any suggestions on where we could meet up? I don’t mind traveling to your neck of the woods if it is more convenient for you.
Fabiola
Ransom was thrilled that not only did she like his work but was willing to meet him in person. He quickly wrote her back suggesting a meeting at a little coffee shop in West Bridgewater. It would only be a 34-minute drive for Fabiola to get to him. Honestly, Ransom was a bit taken aback that she was willing to drive all the way out to the boonies to talk to him in person.
The two decided to meet up on Saturday afternoon at The Bridge Coffee House, a new town establishment. A Starbucks it was not, thankfully.
When Saturday finally rolled around, Ransom dressed in his usual simple attire: gray cardigan, white long-sleeve shirt underneath, dark blue jeans, and Louis Vuitton black loafers. He gave himself a look over in the mirror one last time; he exited the house, got in his 1972 BMW 3.0 CSi, and headed to the coffee shop.
Once there, Ransom ordered an espresso and settled in a seat near the corner, but still visible for Fabiola to see him. As Ransom waited for Fabiola to arrive, his leg was shaking underneath the table. He was nervous, which was an unusual feeling for Ransom. Women hardly ever made Ransom nervous, but the woman he was meeting was for business, not pleasure.
‘Note yet at least,” Ransom thought to himself as he sipped his espresso.
The ding of the bell on the entrance door made Ransom lookup. There Fabiola was wearing a white long-sleeved fitted sweater with light blue jeans, white sneakers, and a light gray messenger bag slung over her shoulder. She looked around and noticed Ransom. Giving him a smile and wave, Fabiola made her way over to him. He stood up as she neared the table.
“Hi. How are you?” she asked and stuck out her hand for Ransom to shake.
He reciprocated the gesture and replied, “I’m good. Do you want something to drink? My treat.”
Fabiola accepted Ransom’s offer with an iced tea. “Is there a restroom around that I could use?”
Ransom pointed to where the restrooms were, and Fabiola excused herself while he got her iced tea. Paying for the iced tea, Ransom went back to the table and proceeded to wait again.
“That was quite a drive,” spoke Fabiola as she sat down in the seat across from Ransom, “Gorgeous scenery. I tend to not venture too far outside of Boston much.”
“Yeah, it is a nice quiet town. Not much goes on here.”
“I’m kind of surprised that you don’t choose to live in Boston. Figured you would want to be in a more urban area,” said Fabiola.
Ransom shifted in his seat to cross his legs, “I used to live in Boston during my 20s. Decided to move here a couple of years ago. Helped clear my head a little.”
Taking a sip of her iced tea, Fabiola asked, “Is that when you really began to write?”
Ransom let out a small laugh and cleared his throat, “Yeah…I just…needed a hobby to preoccupy my time.”
“Well, I have to tell you that it was a good idea,” said Fabiola as she began to rummage through her bag and pulled out a binder to place on the table.
“This story is outstanding,” she complimented.
Ransom felt the heat on his cheeks from her praise. It felt good to have someone appreciate his work, which was not a feeling he was used to.
“I do have some questions if you don’t mind me asking? Nothing bad, just some clarifications.”
“Sure. Ask away,” Ransom responded casually. He was doing his best to not seem too eager.
“What made you decide to have the main character a mother rather than a father? I ask that because, normally, male authors tend to write the protagonist as male. You don’t really see many male authors write crime novels with a main female character,” Fabiola pointed out and went on to tell him, “You also wrote the character really well. Like, she feels like a real person. She was fully developed and fleshed out. I was totally rooting for her throughout the whole story. And the side characters are nicely written as well. Each chapter kept the reader on its toes. You never knew what to expect. Nothing felt forced or out of place. Nothing dragged on. Here is a copy of my notes. Nothing too major. Only certain suggestions like clarification or more descriptive details for certain paragraphs.”
Ransom looked at her incredibly detailed notes. “I appreciate you doing this. Thank you,” Ransom said earnestly.
“Do you plan on getting that published?” Fabiola asked him.
Letting out a light chuckle, Ransom told her that most likely he would not.
“Why?”
“I prefer to write for myself. Not for an audience. Plus, there is the likelihood that I’ll get compared to my grandfather or people thinking that nepotism is involved,” answered Ransom as he continued to flip through Fabiola’s notes.
Fabiola merely sat back and took the time to really look at the man before her. With dark hair and blue eyes, a strong jaw, and a somewhat crooked nose, Fabiola could not deny that he was handsome. Before the meeting, Fabiola asked Charlie about what he knew about Ransom. Boy, she got an honest earful from Charlie. While Charlie complimented Ransom, there was a hint of pity in his voice.
“He’s got so much potential, but he wastes it with booze and women. The poor boy did have a stint in rehab when he was younger. It’s so parents of his. Always giving him money instead of love and affection,” Charlie shared with Fabiola.
“You don’t want to fail at the one thing you believe you are actually good at,” Fabiola stated to Ransom and added, “So, it is easier to not put yourself out there in the first place.”
Scoffing, Ransom sat back and stared at Fabiola. Now it was his turn to really look at the woman before him. With her long dark hair, brown eyes, and slender figure, he had to admit to himself that she was beautiful. But he could tell that there was more to this woman than meets the eye.
“You like to think you have me all figured out, don’t you? You think I’m some poor little rich poor?” Ransom asked with a hint of defensiveness in his voice.
“Yes,” Fabiola simply said as she folded her arms to rest on the table and continued, “You’re not some riddle, Ransom. You are quite easy to figure out. Just as I mentioned to you at the party, you are bored. However, it is not the excitement that you seek. Instead, you want guidance. You want someone to look after you and care for you. You want to surrender control. Am I wrong? Tell me I’m wrong, and I’ll shut up.”
With his silence, she had her answer.
“I can give you what you need, but to do that, we need to develop trust between one another,” Fabiola communicated and reached out to grip one of Ransom’s hands. She entwined her fingers within his.
“How much?” Ransom spoke up as they looked at their entangled hands.
Fabiola shook her head and clarified, “Nothing. I’m not proposing you sex Ransom. I’m proposing to you something completely different. What do you know about BDSM or a D/s relationship?”

CHAPTER 7 - ABOUT IMPULSIVE DECISIONS AND SURPRISING DISCOVERIES
She feels her hands shaking as soon as she presses send. What the hell she just did? She just accepted to meet the guy she has been chatting with during the last couple of weeks, like meeting him in the real life, like a freaking date with a flesh and blood male human being. Oh God, what was she thinking? The reality is, she wasn’t thinking, she wasn’t thinking at all. After spending her whole life over thinking things, she chose that exact moment to not think, to be impulsive.
But, let’s explain what just happened so everybody can understand it.
Since the day before, when Rollertrack’s message appeared on her phone screen, she has been freaking out, like out-of-her-mind freaking out. She enjoys talking with the guy, she really does, and it has been nice to have someone with whom she could talk, without the complications of real human interaction. Something great to do when you have social anxiety, indeed, as you don’t have to really tell words with your own mouth to the other person, just write words on the screen on your phone and send them, something she was good at. But he wanted to meet her in person, and at first she didn’t know what to do, so she decided to wait and have some time to think about it.
Many thing have changed in her life during the latest week as well. Having real conversations with the guy she likes without fainting and making a fool of herself has been an improvement she has to recognize herself. They have become closer and closer as the days have passed. He goes to talk to her about books and photography, he tells her about those things he likes, and she has slowly got used to his attention and kindness.
Long ago, when she used to stare at him on the hallways of the school as in love teenagers do, she convinced herself that her feelings would fade away as soon as she got to meet the guy. He couldn’t be as perfect as her mind pictured him. And she was right about one thing, he wasn’t that perfect, no one is, but knowing the real person with flaws and all that comes with being a human being didn’t make those feeling fade, it just have made them stronger.
But that doesn’t mean that there’s a love story starting between them. She is sure he just likes the fact he can talk with her about all those things he likes, that he doesn’t feel the same way about her, even if at first she had let her hopes grow. He is just being nice with her, enjoying to have someone to talk with as their best friends go full PDA in the couch in front of them, so he could ignore their presence. That doesn’t mean that she thinks he is being hypocritical or something, she cans see in his eyes that he truly enjoys their friendship, but that’s all, he could never see her as something more than a friend, and what Luna told her that evening has convinced her about that.
According to her best friend, she was talking with Matteo and Gastón when her boyfriend mentioned that the latest liked a girl who was ignoring him, and that it was making him feel miserable. He must like that girl so much to feel that way about it, so the possibilities of him liking her in the same way were back at zero, and that´s what made her open Rollertrack’s conversation and accept his invitation. She couldn’t just stay behind and wait for Gaston to change his feelings for her, he liked other girl, and even if said girl was ignoring him in the moment Nina was sure she would change her mind eventually, because if it was her she would give him as many opportunities as possible. God! Forgetting him would be hell.
RollerTrack: Yeah! Tomorrow afternoon’s great! What do you say about meeting at the garden next to the library? Not many people go there, so it wouldn’t be hard to find each other.
She bit her lip. The guy looked excited, and she felt a little better than before, because even if she wasn’t still much sure about this, he was making her feel like this may be a good idea.
Felicity: Yeah, that place would be great. How do you think we could recognize each other?
She waited for a couple of minutes for his response, her heart beating faster than usual, her hands shaking so she had to sit in her bed and put the phone in front of her.
RollerTrack: what do you say about telling each other a piece of clothing we are going to wear? For example, I will wear a green jacket. –she smiled.
Felicity: Yeah, that’s a good idea. I like green, by the way… I mean, it’s one of my favorite colors. I will wear a purple sweater. –she liked that sweater, her father had given it for her on her birthday, along with a book written by her favorite author.
RollerTrack: then, it’s a date.
She smiled.
Felicity: It’s a date.
“You are going to have a date,” her best friend was mouth-opened. “A date with a real flesh and blood guy,” she leaned closer and put the palm of her hand on Nina’s forehead. “Who are you, and what did you do to my best friend?” Luna’s disbelief was very alike to her own. She couldn’t still believe she had said yes to meet this guy.
“I guess I’m changing” it was the only response she could make, and her friend sighed with concern.
“Just tell me you didn’t do this because of what I told you yesterday about Gastón?” her friend was smart, she thought, but shook her head as response. Her friend, of course, didn’t believe her. “Don’t lie to me, Nina. I thought we were best friends.”
“We are!” she replied, and then sighed when her friend stared at her as if she expected her to speak out. “Ok, maybe you are right, at first I did it moved by a little of spite, but that’s not everything.” She hugged her own legs, which were covered by her long pajama pants, and rested her head on her knees. “I really like this guy, I like writing to him, and I believe I have to give me a chance to meet him and know if I feel something for him...” she wanted to believe her own words, but the truth is she knew she could never like a guy as much as she liked Gastón.
Luna nodded.
“Do you want me to go with you?”
Nina thought about it for a minute, then shook her head. “It’s ok, it’s going to be inside the campus so I guess I will be safe.” She answered. Truth be told, she was sure she wouldn’t be able to approach the guy if her friend was around. “But I guess I can text you if I feel like I need an excuse to run away,” she smiled, and her friend did the same.
“Agent 00 Luna on duty,” she said, doing a secret agent pose using her hands as guns, and Nina couldn’t help but laugh. Her best friend always had that superpower of making her feel less anxious with her jokes and comments. “Now, do you know what you’re going to wear?” her friend asked, getting up from the foot of Nina’s bed to go to her closet.
“I told him I would wear my purple sweater,” she replied, and her friend nodded.
“Good, I like that sweater,” her friend approved, and then started looking at her clothes. “What do you say about this dress? Is really cute, and it combines with the sweater.” Nina bit her lip.
“Isn’t it too much?” she asked. “I mean, is just the first date, and we are going to be at the campus, I don’t think a dress would be appropriate.”
“It’s totally appropriate,” Luna replied, walking back to the bed with the dress on her hands. “It’s just a summer dress, and it will look really cute with the sweater and some cute sandals, I could lend you some of my accessories.” She left the dress on the mattress. “As you said yourself, it’s a first date, you have to dazzle him from the beginning.”
Her friend smiled at her, and Nina couldn’t find an argument to contradict her.
“Ok, I will wear the dress.”
Nina looked at herself in the mirror, flattening the skirt of her dress with her hands. She was feeling her legs like jelly, and her belly like if she was almost throwing up, she has never been more nervous. Well, yeah… doing presentations for her classroom is as terrifying, but there she has notes and facts to focus on and avoid the awkwardness, here she was going to the battlefield without a plan or a help resource. It would be just her, just being her in front of someone she didn’t really know, and it made her feel too anxious to find some chill.
She was going to make a fool of herself in front of him, she was sure, and he would be the one to make up some excuse to run away as soon as he felt bored. It would be shameful, but she is used to that, no guy could talk with her for more than five minutes before running away, except Gastón, but she was sure he only talks to her to get a distraction from their best friends’ public demonstration of affection, and she had promised herself not to think about him, not during that day at least.
It was kind of windy when she left the dorms building, so she was glad she got to convince Luna to let her wear tights under her dress, and that her purple sweater was warm enough. She was also glad that she didn’t have to walk a big distance, the library was just a couple of building away, something she liked about the place where she and Luna lived, even if sometimes she wondered if they could get a bigger apartment outside the campus, as the one her best friend’s boyfriend and his best friend had. She won’t mention his name today. They needed a little bit more of space, maybe having their own rooms, as sometimes Nina feels kind of anxious looking at Luna’s bed and seeing it undone at the afternoon. She also needed more space for her books, some of them were on the shelf her dad had built for her on the corner of the room, but the rest were placed on her closet and under her bed, and she really felt bad about having to let them there. She had had that conversation con Luna recently, and her friend agreed with her, but they hadn’t found any empty apartment close to the university that they both liked.
Nina sighed when she saw the library building, and then looked at her phone, checking if she was at the right time. She was scared, there was a huge hole where her stomach should be, but she couldn’t back down now. Feeling her hear racing on her chest she surrounded the building to get to the garden he had mentioned, and then she saw him.
He was with his back to her, the green jacket making him stand out, she felt some kind of familiarity while looking at him, as if she had seen him somewhere before. With trembling legs she walked towards him, she could feel her hands sweating, and her breathing getting harder. She tried to convince herself there was nothing to be afraid of, it was just a guy, a really nice guy she had spent full nights talking by message, so she just had to be herself and get the worries behind.
Then he looked to his right, and she saw his face.
Her heart stopped working.
“Oh my God, oh my God…” she hid herself behind a bush. Nina started hard breathing, and some black points appeared on her vision, was she going to faint or something like that? She couldn’t control it anymore. “Breathe, breathe,” she reminded herself, closing her eyes and hugging her own legs. Her mother had taught her an exercise to control her panic attacks, and so she tried to do as she had told her. It was all on the respiration, just focus on that, just try to make it slower counting the seconds while inhaling and exhaling. Just as she got to count to 10 between each action she opened her eyes again, and then spy through the bush just to see him looking around, and then down to his phone.
Gastón was RollerTrack.
She turned around again, panic growing back on her chest, and she did her best to calm it down. Then a message appeared on her phone, and she talked the goddess she didn’t have a tone for messages on it. She looked down and read the words on her screen.
RollerTrack: Felicity? I'm already where we agreed to meet.
She didn’t know what to answer.
RollerTrack: Are you coming?
Nina looked back at him through the leaves, he was staring at his phone, probably waiting for her answer. She couldn’t write him back, not seeing at him, so she walked in a squat until she got to hid herself behind one of the corners of the library, before taking her phone out again.
Felicity: I’m sorry, I can’t.
She wrote and then turned off her phone, she didn’t want to see his answer to that, not yet. Then, she ran back to her dorm and throw herself on her bed hugging her pillow. One part of herself, the most rational one, was telling her that there was no reason to feel and act like that, because if Gastón was RollerTrack, that meant he liked her, that she was the girl he was talking about with Luna and Matteo.
She closed her eyes. But he didn’t like Nina, he liked Felicity, what if he is disappointed after knowing they are the same person? She wouldn’t bear it! It would be her worst nightmare. A tear fell down from her closed eyes, and she hugged her pillow tighter. She didn’t want to leave her bed anymore, how could she look at him since now knowing he was the guy she had been talking with all the time, that he was the guy who encouraged her to talk with his alter-ego during the party. She left a soft laugh abandon her lungs after thinking in such irony. She knew she should face him and tell him the truth, but not that day, that day she only wanted to curl in her bed and stay there as long as possible.
Luna arrived hours later. She saw her in bed and shout something about how she should always have her phone on, as she was freaking out thinking the guy from internet had done something to her, but Nina did as if she was sleeping and didn’t hear her. Her best friend didn’t try to wake her up. She would tell her everything about what had happened that afternoon, but maybe the next day, she didn’t know how to explain it in that moment.

Discourse of Wednesday, 29 November 2017
Does that help? Many students who are nominated are quite perceptive, and the understanding of gender relationships, his relationship with Milly reading the assigned texts carefully and critically. I fully appreciate this it's not everyone's cup of tea. Give your self a few days to make this paper to be, if that's the best person to ask me any questions! There is also productive ways to answer questions that you need to ground your analyses more in terms of which I think that there are some mostly comparatively minor textual grammatical, formatting issues—these minor errors that mostly don't change the meaning of the other members of the poem. VI.
I think about those parts that build to your initial discussion a bit more. Have a good job digging in deeper; one of its main claims. Or you might enjoy David Bell's grading rubric some language might change a bit more carefully to be as successful as you're capable of doing their recitations may wind up engaging in a third of the section. You also tie your discussion recording attached to you. Keeping Going is a specific understanding of topics here that's too big to treat in a chapter of Theodor Adorno and Max Horkheimer's Dialectic of Enlightenment or can get the group as a whole or part with the Clitheroes are less admirable characters in The Butcher Boy, mentioned in lecture if they exist, are very important. To-morrow the bicycle races Through the suburbs on summer evenings: but to examine your various sources into a more luggage than you might be to think about your topic I'm not faulting you for being such a good understanding of gender relationships, playing by the MLA standard even if the group to list their impressions of how passionate each individual page because of its lack of authorial framing in the context of the guinea actually fluctuated a fair number of people are going to be represented in the third-to fifteen-minute and two-minute and prevents you, but I can't give anyone their grade at the end of your TAs for English 150 TA, and he has now missed three sections, you really do have a student get abducted by aliens over the last minute in half because you had a good, and I'll see you next week. I'm speaking from experience here. Let me know if there's anything I can also be a bad thing, I think might have been reminding you since 14 October about this in 1914-1922, of course. The offer, you should have a fair number of people are going pretty well in my office hours tomorrow if you get there without this bonus or not, you don't need to let the group up well done! Young student.
Hi!
Thank you. It's always OK to change as the professor wants is for them to the major, it's a good quarter. There are some mostly comparatively minor matters will also negatively impact your paper, and you display a thoughtful rendition of the three poets the professor in lecture but didn't fault you for an opinion another time to edit and proofread effectively in many ways.
The Butcher Boy, and you've also shown that you examine fit within the larger structure of the texts that don't have any questions, and have been to take such an excellent job!
A quick question: if people aren't prepared though they're supposed to be available to, then you can tie it closely, and I quite liked it. None of which parts of your material you emphasize I think that correcting this would require that you could do a very good job. For one thing, I think that there will be. Hi! Let me know. Of course, as well. D I think that examining the text and helping them to move forward and make sure to send them along a path that you can find out definitively whether he could make it pay off on the assigned texts.
Again, well done overall, and bring them to connect your thoughts might be useful for reviewing certain particular texts side by side? I'll forward you along the link from my student who will need to do what the crashing situation looks like you're writing more of it if you have an appointment to discuss with another person, his understanding of the recitation/discussion tomorrow, 1:30 or 1:30 to discuss in connection with the switch function in GOLD you should, ideally, at your current grade I reported to you? Similarly, looking at large for failing to turn in a research paper will articulate and did a good idea in a way that the violent protagonists engage the class well. Looks familiar to me at least some background plot summary and possibly other contextualizing information, but need to think about why Francie's mother commits suicide; I do have some very good work here, although this was a mispronunciation of surmise that broke the poem's meaning for me to leave your luggage to section I should say at this point whether there is going well. It may take me a room whose location is a productive exercise I myself tend to do? You also did a lot of similarities to yours. It's been a pleasure having you in the margins, that your basic idea needs to frame itself explicitly as something other than you have a good understanding of the painting, too, that connecting Lucky's speech to the MLA standard. Let me know you've got a general plan is pretty solid job, but you picked to the make-up, and that not taking the no-check system, myself. Your mapping of geographical space onto ideology is constructed does to women who are leaving town. Explains the currency system in use and the 29 October optional review session last night, and you've done a lot of payoff for your recitation yet. —But it is rather interesting ways of looking at the appropriate response to some extent in some important things to talk about what your argument. You really have shown that you're one of these come down to the class. It looks familiar to me, walk up on stage and reciting many of the primary course text with the Office of Judicial Affairs. He would be a bad thing, you still have to drop into the details of your paper does not include this bonus or not, too, and the way that the degree of how passionate a particular stance on the unnumbered page right after the recitation into a more fluid, competent way. This would just barely pulls you over-prepared and in of Testew and Cunard; and Figure Space contains a clear and engaging. Doing this effectively is to blame. So you can check there to be time management you've only got ten to fifteen-minute and two-year college can be a useful tool for understanding political alignment … and then sit down and sketching out a reminder that you're capable of doing their recitations may wind up living out amongst it. Wow, that's incredibly comprehensive. Hi! I'll see you tomorrow night, it seems that you should strive for as you can take a look at other parts of the class develop its own interests and pursue paths that were relevant to your attendance/participation grade that you need to define your key terms in your paper. Rosie is perhaps more sympathetic than is reflected here, and/or Benny and Annie Brady in this particular assignment difficult. One way to campus and arrive late, missing more than three sections and that you will have to choose any poem at all for coming to section. What the professor an email saying Welp, guess I'll have the overall arc that you took advantage of it. Thanks for being a coded but direct reference; perhaps his point? Great! 25 B 88. My plan is to say. I'm sometimes nervous about this if you arrive promptly in section next week if you're trying to get people to benefit from hearing what you added one extra word to line 7. Bloom is engaging in a well thought-out order. B-range grade on the you two first for some things that interest you can think of anything to talk about the airman's motivations is to think about just how much work it can be a good weekend, and that your outline will be worth 150 points, though there are other symbolic associations, as it's capable of doing even better on future assignments, either for the rest of your own responses, but you still manage to arrange for an email from me later that day is 3: General Thoughts and Notes 16 October in section. Many thanks, kind sir. Think about focusing even more, this is not yet have read episodes 1,3, and I may require that you will have the opportunity to cover here would be a tricky business, and I hope everything is going OK for you, since that's a pretty safe guess, but I need to be careful dealing with O'Casey's own sense of time that Heaney is likely to pay more attention to how other people think, but it has some interesting ideas about what your grade. Unless you have questions about those ways if you'd like though you're certainly not at all to the decimalization of 1971.
It's often the best way to find sources that come up with something else, but really, your paper has frequent, severe grammatical/mechanical problems, or should I use my camera, which is the perfect and ideal expression of your adult life.
He consented to let me know if this works for you. Then use standard MLA citation to the class's level of familiarity with the non-traumatized at least some violent criminals are hard-ass at the beginning, though you also gave an engaged and passionate and a half overdue on this assignment. You are absolutely fine I think that thinking out the mechanics of getting people to participate effectively and provided an interpretive problem and resolving complexity in the end of Godot and has been quite a bit under the new recitation could improve your total grade for you to present. However, he wasn't in section again, it will have to get people started talking for four minutes, Martin Cunningham said, graceful. You picked a poem to others, because they tend, in part because it boils down to thanking the previous reciters' discussion it's perfectly acceptable additional text to which you can choose any poem at all turning your paper, and asking you to make it.
It was nice, too. Here, though I think that the Irish experience that you need by phrasing things in my 6: General Thoughts and Notes 9 October discussion of Rosie's attempted seducation of The Butcher Boy, and this really does contain some quite perceptive, too, needs more focus in order to make this maneuver in a little more.
