fic where lucius mentions during talk it through time VERY early after the reunion, like still in ed's catboy probation era, that he understands ed and izzy a lot better now, even though he wishes he didn't and doesn't absolve either of them of anything they've done, because after having All That done to him he often gets the urge to hurt people now in a way he never quite did before. have i already made this post. whatever.

so izzy is like this guy needs an outlet, not in those terms obviously because he does not know what that is, BUT. he does know that lucius is a good guy, soft at heart, and he needs to be able to hurt people without doing any harm or scaring himself (two totally separate needs, one of which is MUCH more difficult to navigate lol). but he's already got artistic skill, and he's on a damn pirate ship - and clearly, after all this, he can never go back to not being a pirate - so he needs to learn some piratical shit anyway, right?

so he either has someone else go or goes and gets the needle himself and then he gestures with it to ed, and he tells him, "you're gonna give me one on my right shoulder, just enough of something to fucking show him how to do it, and if you put your hands on me anywhere the fuck else i'll cut 'em off." (because it's early, like i said, and like. he is genuinely angry, and he does want ed to keep his hands to himself... mostly... but more than either of those he's scared to find out he STILL will let ed do whatever he wants so he has to just make sure ed doesn't do it in the first place, and also maybe he's performing a little bit for the rest of the breakup crew who want him to both Be Safe and Not Be With Ed. but anyway, it's complicated, and that's what he says but it means more and different than the sum of its parts, you understand.)

anyway, so then the two of them sit in front of lucius and ed gives izzy a little tattoo on his right shoulder exactly like he was asked and doesn't touch iz anywhere else exactly like he was told and all through he explains what he's doing and why he's doing it that way and he's also maybe slipping in some fun facts about izzy that may or may not actually have any bearing on tattooing him. just, you know, in case there's any other reasons maybe that lucius might want to know. or whatever.

and then lucius takes his turn tattooing izzy under both izzy's and ed's watchful eyes, but mainly ed's because izzy frankly does not really care what it looks like he's doing this for utility for lucius's sake - and also it's been. maybe a bit. a little while. since he really felt any genuine connection to his body, nvm how it looks (tho, as those of us who have tattoos can attest, getting a new one probably helps him with that issue at least some).

Summary: Zoro gets Lost in the forest and somehow ends up falling over the reader, who is appearntly fleeing from Someone

You didn't know how things ended up this way, however, you must figure out how should you get the hell out of here.

It all started when you docked this afternoon next to this island, and everyone except for Franky decided to go down and explore it, only to discover that its a forest, but even so, you didn't mind much and went along with them. And after walking here and there between the the long trees, you found yourself lost and no one of your nakamas where around.

Trying to control the internal panic inside you, you continued walking trying find them, but you failed even after searching for 3 hours. Now its getting dark, you're hungry, tired and most importantly scared, you'd say that you're a pirate, you should be brave, however, this fear was a caused by an incident that happened to you during your childhood, and leaded to a trauma.

You sat there under a tree and buried your head in your knees, you were scared, if Zoro was just here, you would be much at ease, because you will feel safe, you wished that even if it wasn't Zoro, at least one of your nakamas would show up right now, you wanted someone's beside you to tell you that everything is gonna be okay.

Drowning in your thoughts, you sensed someone moving around the bushes infront of you, you got up and stuck yourself to the tree behind you, with every move, your childhood incident would flash back inside your head making you shiver, " What should I do, What should I do?" You thought looking nervously around for a way to run.

" Well, Well, Well... Look who we have here, Never expected you to join the Strawhat pirates tho, but What a lovely coindence to meet you in the forest out of anywhere else wuahahahahahahaha" said the mysterious guy as he finally came out of the bushes

The color drained from your face at his sight, you clutched your fingers around the tree, yes that's right, this mysterious guy who's standing infront of you is the pirate who invaded your village during your childhood.

You lived in a very peaceful village as the Mayor's only daughter, but one day some pirates attacked and caused a havoc in there, destroying and buring the houses, not forgetting the way they killed many people including your father.

The one who leaded those pirates was the man who is standing infront of you, Captain Stealth Blade, a sadist pirate who enjoyed seeing innocent people in pain. He acknowledged that you were the Mayor's daughter and kidnapped you to make a use of you for his own advantages, you couldn't do anything but obey his commands in order to keep the life of the villagers safe. One day when your tiny figure couldn't take anymore of his torture,

He threw you in your island's forest, and there when you tried to escape to survive, having that tiny hope inside of you that you were out of Stealth blade's grip, only to end in one of his traps in that darkish forest surrounded by tigers who were getting ready to have you as their dinner.

Despite everything happened at the time, and how you were able to survive that incident, you thought it was a miracle, you were given a new life, so you shouldn't waste it, but currently the fear was rushing to your body as his sight

Just looking at him reminds you of those days where you couldn't do anything but to get tortured by him, which froze your body, you couldn't move, and he kept moving closer. " No, I shouldn't be scared now, I have my nakamas beside me, they'll definitely will hep me out get rid of this jerk" you motivated yourself.

You grabbed a rock and threw it straight to his face and ran away, it was dark and you couldn't see anything, you can feel the weakness in your knees as if they're ready to give up any minute, and although Stealth blade screamed in pain, however he chased you, you fleeded in random ways panting heavily, hoping that he loses your track soon.

But what made you stop suddenly and gasp out loudly was when something big fell infront of you out of nowhere, you screamed in fear and your knees finally gave up, you were shaking, and Stealth blade's voice was getting closer, you were terribly scared to even look at what fell infrot of you only to hear the voice that never failed to comfort you

" Oi ( Y/N), what's wrong! Hey clam down its me Zoro, look at me, why are you injured like this?" Said Zoro to you, you lifted your head up, eyes wide and full of tears, " ZORO!!" You yelped in a cracked tone as you threw yourself in his embrace shaking, and he noticed your tears as well as the fear aura around you, he wrapped his arms protectively around you stroking your hair soothingly.

" Its alright, I'm here...nothing is going to happen, you're safe now" he said as he kissed your forehead. But soon, you tightened your grip on his shirt when you hear Stealth blade's voice coming closer, with that laugh ringing in your head, Zoro's eye immediately glowed with a reddish light.

" Stay behind me" was the only thing he said before giving you his bandana and standing in a fighting position taking out his three swords. Once Stealth blade appeared, without going around and around, he onslaughted him with his 'Sanzen Sekai' attack, making him unable to move.

He took out the Wado Ichimoji of his mouth and approached Stealth Blade, " Y-You ...Jerk....who...are you...?" He Asked spiting blood out of his mouth, Zoro just smirked and answered, " a weak trash like you who dared to make my (Y/N) in that state doesn't have the honor to know my name". Once he finished, Zoro approached and carried you in a bridal style, you stared at each other for few seconds before he catched your lips in a deep kiss.

Walking back, and telling him about Stealth Blade since he asked, you finally managed to get out of the forest and find your Nakamas. It was the first time that Zoro have went in the right direction, let's say it was because he was so immersed with your talk than the way as he walked.
