- After printing all my ''zines'' one of my friends remarked that her purple acrylic glasses made the 2nd layer of ink GLOW when you looked at them - I found that really cool so we took some pictures of the batch with the glasses over my camera lens to document as it might come in handy later and if not it just looked cool

- Here are the primary resources and their respective quick sketches I gathered to create panels in my Zine - I used my primary resources as a base to get the basic forms down then used my iPad as a makeshift lightbox to draw the actual designs onto my zine - I find my primary resources so far very weak and wish to improve them going further

Zinemaking for Book/Printmaking Workshop
- For my workshop I decided to create a double-sided Zine that focuses on the physical aspects and side effects of both cerebral palsy and Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy - Using Keith Haring as my inspiration I made sure to communicate how my disabilities feel through contrasting shapes to convey the movements I sense inside my chest and my spasticity

Artist Research- Keith Haring
- Went through Keith Haring's Archive in hopes of finding inspiration for my ''zine'' about the sensations related to my disabilities
- I felt especially inspired by their use of colour to highlight important subjects or movement
- A lot of their early work (1980s) focuses more heavily on homoerotic sexual imagery and, and human anatomy a lot clearly born due to the AIDS crisis in America - I especially love the social commentary and medical imagery from the holes in the body, syringes and ripping off of the head, the simple style and heavy subject matter contrast very well and captures the tone I wish to present in my Zine

Preparing for the Print/Bookmaking Workshop
- using the idea I came up with in the Lithography workshop I began to sketch out ideas of a possible print for the workshop
- I was very inspired by the techniques used by Keith Haring specifically his use of line to indicate movement and simplified forms and colour pallets which would lend themselves well to printing 2 toned panels

Recreating my ICD Through Embroidery
- As part of my Filoconstruction Workshop I decided to continue developing my ideas of ASSEMBLING my ICD by GOING BACK to my previous idea of ''stitches'' and embroidering it
- I chose to use a contour drawing as my starting point as it helped identify all the forms and shadows cast by the device which I then mapped using tone through colour. - This piece felt very personal to me as sewing or embroidery are something I've never done before and struggled a lot with due to my cerebral palsy but it made the end result even more worthwhile as I managed to recreate EXACTLY how the scar feels just like I envisioned using the texture of yarn

Paper and Glue Sculpture from Analog and Digital Workshop
- Forgot to document a to scale sculpture of my ICD as part of the Analog and Digital Workshop - I assembled it using a mixture of glue and parchment on top of cardboard to recreate its forms and skin like texture, I took particular care in making sure the ''ICD'' had some wiggle room so that I could recreate the sensation of having it under my skin as it shifts around - I love the tactile feedback of the sculpture it helps capture what made me so insecure about that scar to begin with I then began to explore other mediums and styles in which I could visualise my scar

Lithography Workshop Results
- Took a short lithography workshop on Friday,
- I really like how sustainable the medium is and how quick you have to work with it, with my first piece I just wanted to test the different mediums to see which oily mediums the ink catches onto best - I then created an image related to my ideas of surgery and my ICD for my ''Assemble'' brief and using a crayon drew it onto the foil, dipped it into Coca-Cola and inked it - The workshop was really fun so I decided to do more printmaking and sign up for the Printmaking and Bookmaking Workshop and do some brainstorming

Concept Development
- During the Analog and Digital Workshop we all gathered around eachother's projects and voted on which thumbnail would be the best to start working on
- Using peer feedback I chose to go with my Fetish gear/ Shibari idea, Shibari a Japanese form of bondage, is used to restrain people into uncomfortable positions and that I really wanted to capture that sesation of a shortness of breath and movement through basic colour blocking of forms and shapes - I began focusing on my own chest and decided to crop my art-piece to recreate it as a tape scultpture to capture the forms of my surgical scar on top of my piece. - I quickly pivoted to the idea of assembly through surgery as I have had way too many throughout my life, I wanted to make more pieces that the viewer can touch to recreate the tactile feed back of different bumps and scars

Mindmap and Thumbnails from Analog and Digital Workshop
- As part of the Analog and Digital workshop we all chose a word related to ''Assemble'' and came up with as many words associated with that phrase as possible
- We then listed attributes of that object or word and chose our favourite from each group to take photography based on and combine them to then thumbnail quick ideas to start our project - The core words I decided to base my project off to start with were ''sensation'' ''structure'' ''body'' and ''ripping'' - I really loved how each one of my ideas conveyed a sense of physical restriction from the eye hidden amongst ropes. shibari imagery of the bare chest and the ''spirit trapped'' amongst clothing all very stiff and uncomfortable if not a lil sinister

Primary Research - 1 ''Stitches''
-Selection of photographs I took as part of the ''Assemble'' brief during my Analog and Digital Workshop, I chose the word ''stitches'' as my starting point for the project -Focused a lot on texture and the different forms created by different object in the materials room, had to quickly work from things around me for my workshop which was a fun challenge
