Across from you sat Cole, then to his left was Nya, and the head of the table was occupied by Zane while opposite him on the other end sat Pixal. Zane seemed content to exist in the company of all of you, only chiming in when he felt like it was needed, but he and Nya were definitely whispering jokes to each other every now again between bites of their food. Pixal, you noticed, was actually jokingly joining in on Kai and Jay’s argument. She would add in one point that was completely absurd and it would cause the other two to blow up again. That robot could be devious when she really wanted to be.

Then there was Cole. You were surprised that he wasn’t also a part of the argument, but you suppose the topic of…maybe devil worship? You weren’t sure, but still, whatever it was didn’t seem to interest the earth ninja. To be fair, you knew the other was prone to getting entranced into whatever he was eating at the moment and Zane had done wonderfully with tonight’s dinner (as he always did) so it was understandable really.

“And, yeah, I don’t know. I just don’t really understand why I’ve always got to be doing something.” Lloyd finished his story up and you nodded along, having listened intently the entire time.

“I don’t know either man,” you shrugged as you took a sip of your water, “your shit is always getting rocked one way or another.” That caused a slight snort of amusement to exit the green ninja. “I mean, I would’ve already changed my government name and gone into hiding if I were in your shoes.”

Okay so my first tumblr post! I’ve just been lurking on a tumblr for a long time…

So I drew a tiny Age reversal of the ninjas!

Ages: Lloyd 17, Cole 11, Zane and Kai 10, Jay 9 and Nya 8.

Ummm this is some hc that I have on the show from this au. Ships, well their kids so it’s mainly crushes.

Starts off as a minor villain like in show but easily beats the ninjas!

Motivation is to become a great villain like his dad

In season 1 he gets kidnapped by the snakes I think that still happens but it happens because he went on his own to fight them

Lloyd and lord Garmondon relationship is still the same

Just slightly more strained when it’s revealed that he’s the green ninja.

LORD GARMONDON DISLIKE SENSEI WU

That man is angry that Sensei Wu is sending kids and his own son to defeat him

So in S2 he’s targeting sensei Wu over the ninjas

Since he’s the oldest (beside Lloyd) he took on a leadership role

But in this au, I think sensei Wu saw them struggling to take care of their family (due to money issues) and offered to take Jay and train him

I don’t think he ever hung out with kids his age

So Jay is quiet shy in S1 plus when he nervous he just blabber on and on

As season progresses he becomes more snarky and confident

He definitely hyper aware of his insecurities

So will lash out more

Doesn’t have a crush on Nya since he doesn’t yet know how to hang out with people his age

He still thinks she really cool and wants to hang out with her

Kai is more friendly to him because of that

The others are protective over him since he young and shy.

But he has the most control and skill with his powers. 😭

Would get annoyed at them for treating him like a baby

when he lashes out and be all snarky with them for the first time. they would all be like: shocked pikachu face 😭

Except Zane, Zane was the only one to treat him like normal

Lloyd comforts him when he feels insecure

When morro possess Lloyd, he treats Jay nicer than everyone else (Storm brother will happen in cannon I swear 🙏)

I think in S4? When Cole and Nya are said to be the perfect match he would start to get jelly.

Would be jealous but wouldn’t understand why, until it hits him in the middle of a fight with Cole that he likes Nya

Naddakah or whatever that jerk name is, would traumatise him, by then he would finally understand his feelings for Nya

He does not gloss over the fact that he was abandoned and is adopted???

This boy will have issues about that, and adds to his insecurities!!

when Naddakah is all over he would avoid Nya feeling bad about what happened

Cole and him are great friends, and he takes every opportunity to cling to him

His parents visit often but mostly he visits them. They worry about him a lot

One day she breaks down over her parents and Lloyd is the one to comfort her

She made Lloyd her second older brother, which annoys Kai

Zane will sneak her into the kitchen and they will cook with each other

She helps makes upgrade for Zane and reassure him that even if he’s a nindroid she still see him as a person

Has a small awkward crush / relationship with Cole when they are said to be a great match. They break up rather quickly realising it wasn’t gonna work

Naddakah (genie dude) would want to adopt her instead of marrying her because he what he imagined his daughter would of looked like

And also that would be extremely gross if he wanted to marry a kid

She is so desperate for another girl on the team

Tries so hard for Skylor and Pixal to join the team, heart broken when they don’t

She still has girl night and sleepovers with them which makes her feel like a kid again

They would be teens when they meet harumi and she would be her bi awakening,

Looks up to harumi so much. Harumi would be the same age as Lloyd though.

In my own opinion, the ninja driving is not how we all would expect them too. They’d drive like idiots some how some way.

Zane would normally drive like a sane person, following all the rules on the road and maybe over speeding at times. However, when necessary, he completely disregards them and lets his freewill take over. Say their being chased, Zane would be speeding 100 on a 50 road, he would be driving inside buildings, on pavements, and somehow on the outside of buildings, somehow defying the rules of physics. It’s during those times that none of the ninja want his driving, he is terrifying.

Kai that little flirt would absolutely get a car to win girls over and look cool. But driving wise he absolutely speeds unbelievably fast all the time. Whilst Zane does it during special occasions, Kai likes doing it all the time. It’s why he’s the most trustworthy when driving, because no matter how fast he drives he rarely ever breaks any other road laws and he’s the only member of the team to have never gotten arrested for his driving specifically. Somehow. No one feels safe when he’s driving though so he’s still bullied over it, but he’s the one who actually teaches the others how to drive. Mostly Lloyd and Zane. He holds no regrets.

Cole prefers to not drive at all. He says it’s because of his element, as he enjoys climbing and working on his stamina. The real reason is because he can’t. He can’t drive. At all. Skateboards and cycles he can do, motor bikes are okay, and whatever random machine he has to use for his ninja stuff he’s great at. He just can’t use normal cars and no one knows why. He freaks out and starts pressing and moving the wrong stuff and somehow they’re in a tree or teetering off a mountain. He is not trusted in anyway.

Nya follows the rules of driving to a T. She doesn’t break a single rule even if they’re being shot at whilst driving. She’s the only one who actually has a driving licence and passed each test with flying colours first go. She will stop at a red light and make you stop with her and you’ll suddenly be beating each other black and blue right in the middle of the road until the light turns green again. However, she also the one who somehow breaks the rules the most often. She has and will send villains to the hospital by car and she has not been caught once. Except from that one time she was caught driving too slowly, apparently?. No one can stop her.

Jay is like those old ladies driving, all because of how he over thinks every action he takes. Should he left turn? What if the road is closed? What is he gets a fine? What if he turns left immediately when someone is crossing the road and crashes into someone and then has to pay for their hospital bills but he literally does not have that kinda money so he’s shoved into jail for the 3rd time? He’s a sad slow driver until he’s in a mission. When he’s given one of the ninja cars built for them or is driving for a mission that man is driving off of mountains, hills, over people, donuts, whatever. He has no shame as he’s screeching in joy.

To put it very bluntly, Lloyd doesn’t actually know how to drive. He got taught by Kai, Zane, Cole, Nya, Jay, Skylor, his dad, his mum, his uncle, and he still has no clue what he’s doing in a normal car. Even in the ninja cars he only follows the basic rules of sometimes following the speed limit and driving on the damn road. The only thing he can do better in any sorry of car than any of the other ninja is parking. He perfectly parks his car no matter where it is. It’s like magic. Though, just like a certain someone, he loves speeding more than anything.

The reason i wrote this? I need to study for my drivers test, but i don’t wanna.

Quest of The Lost Powers (Zane)

Chapter 1:

“Zane, please hold still,” PIXAL said in a patient voice.

“I am holding still,” Zane protested.

“No, you are not,” PIXAL countered, “Now, I just have one more sensor to attach to your circuits…”

PIXAL and Zane were busy in the Samurai X cave, located deep beneath the Sea of Sand. They had retreated to Nya’s old hideout after their underground hangar bay became buried in the rubble of the Monestary of Spinjitzu during the assault of the Crystal King

Filled with computers, vehicles, and parts to build mechs, PIXAL had found the alternate space to be very useful. In the weeks since the ninja had lost their elemental powers, the android had dedicated herself to finding a way to help Zane restore his power of Ice.

Zane’s journey to become the Titanium Ninja contained many twists and turns. This extraordinary Nindroid was created by the brillian Dr. Julien and then given the power of Ice from the Elemental Ice Master. Yet, before he passed away, Dr. Julien, had turned off Zane’s memory switch. Believing, he was just an ordinary boy, Master Wu took in the nindroid and trained him to be a ninja alongside Kai, Cole, and Jay.

Zane regained the memory of who he was, but as the ninja faced ever-growing challenges, his memories came and went. He was nearly destroyed during a battle with the Overlord, and then reborn again as the Titanium Ninja. PIXAL had helped him regain his memories then.

Later, when Zane had used the Scroll of Forbidden Spinjitzu to try and stop Aspheera, he became stranded in the Never-Realm. The evil General Vex had found him and erased his memories, manipulating him so that he became the cruel Ice Emperor. Then Lloyd had helped Zane regain his true identity. And recently, when the Crystal King had set his forces on Ninjago, Zane had crashed his mech and damaged his memory circuit. He reverted back to his Ice Emperor programming (programming???), and this time, it took the brilliant engineer Cyrus Borg to repair him.

PIXAL believed that the key to Zane’s recovering of is power of Ice was connected to exploring these fractured memories.

“We must look for clues,” she had said, “And I believe those clues can be found within you.”

Zane had complete trust in his android friend (friend zoned??? PIXANE??? Noooooo), because PIXAL understood him better than anyone else. But the idea of exploring his memories made him uneasy. Some lost memories felt like an ache deep within him. And he would rather not think about some of the things he could remember.

He twitched nervously in his chair as PIXAL inserted a sensor into a port in the back of his head.

“These sensors are critical to your journey,” she explained in her calm, steady voice. “They will immerse you in your memories so you can experience them as though you are actually there.” Zane twitched again. “And the others in the memory will be able to see or hear me?”

“No,” PIXAL replied, “You will be an observer only. Now keep still.”

She stepped in front of him and moved to the bank of computer screens. They cast a blue glow on her silver hair and the purple conduit lines on her face.

“It will be interesting to see if this technology can restore your Elemental Powers,” she remarked as she entered a code into the system, “I am working on a way to adapt the tech to work with biological memory banks, perhaps helping the other ninja regain their powers.”

“I am sure they are all searching for a way to unlock their True Potential again,” Zane replied, “Although it is rather odd that I have not heard from any of them.”

PIXAL spun around in her chair and fixed her green eyes on Zane.

“For this first session, I will bring you out of the program in four minutes and thirty seconds,” she said, “If something goes wrong, or you want to leave the memory, just say something.”

“If something goes wrong…,” he thought. An image of the Ice Emperor’s face, cold and fierce, flashed through his mind

“Understood,” Zane replied.

“Are you ready?” PIXAL asked.

“Ready.”

PIXAL turned back to the computer, “Initiating memory exploration in three… two… one!”

The Ninja decide instead of slacking off after defeating the crystal king, harumi and their crystal council, they would go find an adventure to do.

Their journey is long, but enjoyable for the most part. The ninja bicker all the time, and there’s never any time where someone isn’t shouting at the another.

It’s rather calming actually. No one to fight, but instead bonding and getting closer with eachother.

At least it seems that way.

Or: The ninja have nothing to do after the overlord was defeated again, and decide to take an adventure.

Chapter 1: Tell me “don’t”, so I can crawl back in. / Photos and laughs.

Nya, the water ninja, places a bag onto the floor near a vehicle. “So we’re going on a long trip. Who’s in charge of the music?”

“ME!!” The hothead fire ninja, Kai, yells out.

“No Kai your music is just your own covers. How about mine!?” Jay, the lightning ninja, peeks over from inside the vehicle.

“we aren’t listening to pink fluffy unicorn for a 50 hour journey.” Cole, the Earth ninja, mumbles. In hopes that Jay did not hear that.

The prophesied green ninja, Lloyd arrives from the lift with Zane, The Ice Nindroid. “What’s happening?”

“We can’t decide who’s playlist to listen to on our journey.” Nya Answers Lloyds question.

Everyone goes silent as they think. Until one voice speaks out.

“I will combine the playlists into one big playlist, and shuffle them. And if someone wants to skip, we vote. 4 or more votes and we skip the song.” Zane suggested.

The others nod their head or say something along the lines of ‘great idea!’ Or ‘that works.’

“Is everyone ready?” Someone calls out. It’s unsure who with Kai and Cole chatting loudly and laughing. “Oh! Wait I need to grab something.” The blue ninja rushes off quickly.

Lloyd helps Nya bring bags inside the vehicle, whilst Cole puts stuff in the portable fridge and coolers. Kai sits down and gets comfy.

Zane places a a photo of him and P.I.X.A.L. next to his power source his heart. And he smiles.

After Jay came back and everyone said goodbye to Master Wu and P.I.X.A.L.. they took off. Their trip was just to explore, with nobody to fight, instead of being lazy and reckless, they decided to “go out and find a quest” as master Wu had once said.

Zane connected the speakers to the vehicle and played the merged playlist.

Nya was driving, Jay next to her side, and of course. Kai and Cole being themselves.

Kai immediately bursts out into “song”, as the song playing was on his playlist.

“AHAH! I’M ZANES FAVOURITE MY PLAYLIST IS FIRST SUCKERS!”

“Uh actually, he merged and shuffled the playlists. It’s just convenient this was f-“ Cole stuck his finger up and pretend to put on glasses before getting interrupted.

“YOUR JUST JEALOUS!”

The speakers music goes quieter as a message is overridden by the microphone.“I would like to remind you all that I do not have a favourite ninja.” Zane says.

“Not even P.I.X.A.L.?” Jay asks. Putting his travel pillow around his neck and opening a photo album that he collected of their journeys.

“Hah, she does not count, she is my companion, and she is not a ninja, she is a samurai, an awesome one as well..” He responds with.

“Hey Zane, we can hear your lovestruck-ness for P.I.X.A.L. Still, turn off the microphone.” Cole laughs.

“My apologises.” He switches off the microphone. “What are you looking at Jay?”

“Oh, I made a photo album from when I started being a ninja! And I’m just going over them now- oh this fell o…” Jay picks up a photo. Zane and him immediately smile and “Awh” out loud.

“That is most adorable.” Zane grabs the photo. Showing Nya. Nya smiles and laughs. “Ah, Lloyd! Come over here!!”

Lloyd is heard running through the vehicle halls. Rushing over, his mouth full off pillow mints. “What is it?” He looks at the photo, and his face goes red with embarrassment…

“That-.. LITTLE PUNK!?”

Jay laughs. “That’s what you were! A little punk! We hated your guts.”

“Well I wanted to be like my dad.”

“How did that turn out?”

“Shut it.”

“Guys it’s not even been an hour” Nya chimes in.

Zane places the photo back into the photo album. “Perhaps we could call the other two and go through the album together?”

“Great idea. KAI! COLE! COME HERE!” The water ninja shouts. Cole and Kai walk over.

“What’s up sis?”

“Oh thank FSM. I cannot handle Kai singing in my ears for much longer.”

Kai nudged him.

“Come go through the photo album with Zane, Jay, And Lloyd!”

“HUH WHAT!? I WANNA SEE!!”

Everyone begins to laugh as Kai, Cole and Lloyd sit around Jay, who turned his chair the other way. Nya would look over if someone were to show her a photo, and Zane stayed standing.

They smiled and laughed through the photos.

“Ohh thats messed up Jay you took a photo of this!?” Cole looked to Jay, Zane’s eye’s widened at the photo.

The photo was of Zane in his pink apron, though food was on it. Zane’s face was blank and rather sad, whilst the others in frame were laughing and having fun.

“Whoops.. I’m sorry zane.” He apologises. Turning the page.

“It is alright Jay. I forgive you.”

One of the photos was Kai on his day off, aka. No hair gel day. He looked strange to say the least.

Most were happy and funny.

There were a few that gave bad memories.

But it felt nice to go through the photos. To see how far they have come.

It was sweet, occasionally Kai would sing, nya would hum songs, Cole would join anyone in karaoke, Zane and Lloyd just smiled at the others, complementing them. And Jay was far too focused on the memories to care.

“OH MY FIRST SPINJITZU MASTER. WE SHOULD PLAY UNO AND OTHER BORED GAMES!!”

“Perhaps later Kai, we are going through photos, however we are nearly done so…” Zane sighs. “I’ll go get the games!”

Kai smiled and shouts “YES!” As Jay cracks his knuckles to prepare. Nya puts the vehicle into auto pilot after a while and stretches. Cole picks out a photo and sticks it on Kai’s face, and laughs. It was a photo of pythor.

“Oh. Nice Cole. Nice.” Lloyd death stared him.

“I’m going to put pyjamas on, does anyone else want theirs?” Nya asks, walking off.

Everyone said no. So Nya didn’t bother, she put her hair up and put her pyjamas on.

Zane grabbed a box of bored games and they both walked together back to the others. He’d come to realise they had finished the album.

And so he sighed once again, almost in fear because this was going to be a long.

And loud.

Few hours..

Ooo okay after that I gotta say I am super interested where Nya goes in this AU. Is she mostly just resentful of Kai (he's her brother AND wants to stay out of this Super Cool Destiny that she wishes she was apart of) or does it affect her friendship with the other ninja (I'm assuming outside of Lloyd) too?

Also was NOT expecting Zane to wait Multiple Seasons to drop the "guess what Im a robot" lore. What makes him hold off, and what would make him finally spill the beans?

She's resentful of the boys and shes mad she's resentful lol. it's a lot of feeling excluded, forgotten, and consistently underestimated. Kai still sees her as his little sister in need of constant protection. he doesn't want her to fight. it was his job to make sure she would never be put in danger. he coddles her despite the fact she doesn't need or want it. He thinks there are things she just can't do. Jay sees her as more of an independent woman, but he takes Kai's cues on this. he doesn't want her fighting either. Cole knows nya is smart and capable but shes not part of the prophecy, so why needlessly endanger herself? this is their job. they're the ones who have to handle the pressure and the pain that comes with it. he doesn't think she can't, he just thinks she shouldn't have to. Zane feels similar to cole but he won't stop nya or stand in her way when she wants to do something. She says she's going to do *insert crazy dangerous thing here *? Zanes like "Okay here are the odds of success and exactly what you'll need to be able to pull this off" cuz he's wise enough to know he won't be stopping her lol. this makes kai and jay very upset with him. Pixal encourages her in every aspect of it all. go crazay. i'll help you build your own mech suit girl. iron man style. lloyd takes his cues from kai and wu, so if nya asks to help him with something he tends to err on the side of "No, i can handle this." (which also comes from feeling like he needs to prove himself as the green ninja)

Zane holds off on telling them he's an android because... well, he's weird. he's offputting. he's strange. he is always 'other.' and because of that, despite being homeless for years, he has never found a place to call home. he doesn't fit in. he is never accepted into the group. when the others finally start to include him... he's not going to do anything to jeopardize that. he's protecting himself. he doesn't see a way where this revelation won't change their attitude towards him.

he would have never told them if not for an injury that made it impossible for him to keep it a secret any longer

Sorry for the delay. You asked mostly for Kai's so I delivered. If anyone wants more hcs about the others I can work on it some time in the future (I also have more of Kai).

Now the hcs:

• All the ninja have PTSD from everything they’ve been through

• And abandonment issues

• Cole has an eating disorder and eats when he’s stressed, this is one of the reasons he is very insecure of his weight. People online poke at him for it

• Jay's terrified of losing his loved ones again because of him. That is another reason why he went absolutely crazy post Seabound, as he thinks it was his fault Nya had to resort to sacrificing herself

• He used to be bullied for living in a junkyard before becoming a ninja and that's why he was ashamed of it

• Zane always shoves down everything wrong that happens to him (e.g being the Ice Emperor for way too long to be ok about it) because he puts the team and their needs first.

• Nya has nightmares from the time she died in skybound but doesn't tell anyone.

• She had to keep her work and love life secret from her brother for fear that he would shut her down to protect her. Her fear persisted well into s1 and that's why she felt she had to hide Samurai X even from Kai

• Lloyd still admires his uncle despite his obsession with the green ninja (and all the neglect that came with it) because he's the only relative that actually took him in

• All of the ninja have at some point hidden an injury at least once. But Kai and Nya are the ones that do it more often (Nya specially when she was samurai X), and know how to treat mild wounds because of it.

• Kai and Nya do physical activities when they’re stressed or have emotions they don’t want to process. They can do their thing like Kai working in the forge and Nya doing mechanics but they usually train, however they can go on for hours (Kai has passed out a few times)

• Kai and Zane have a very poor sense of self. Zane’s comes from him not valuing his life and thinking he’s expendable since he can be rebuilt, ignoring all the trauma that comes from getting severely hurt or “dying”. Kai has problems seeing his worth as a human being because he’s never lived for himself; everything he does is for someone else and so he thinks his value resides in what he can do for other people.

• Kai is terrified of the idea of being alone, it’s his worst fear.

• He has THE WORST coping mechanisms and Zane is confused on how his body was able to go through all of them (Alcoholism, illegal fights, smoking…)

• Kai is an insomniac, he barely sleeps most nights and instead just waits until he passes out (He has very deep eyebags because of it but hides them with make up, covering his freckles too). He sometimes bumps into some other ninja at night since they all have fucked up sleep schedules.

• Lloyd also has a lot of problems sleeping because of nightmares and goes to Kai or Nya’s room where he feels safer (mostly into Kai’s). Sometimes they stay up at night chilling or they try to sleep. In those cases the nights with Lloyd are the ones where Kai sleeps the most because he feels safer too.

• Kai has chronic depression because of his fucked up childhood

• Lloyd thought he had depression too for a while but it turned out to be autistic burnout because of the stress of being the green ninja. But he can’t properly rest or heal from the burnout so he’s exhausted most of the time.

• When he’s stressed Kai forgets to eat and can go days with very little food because he’s used to it from being poor in his childhood.

• Genuinely forgot what it feels like to be a kid and have no responsibilities so it’s his personal mission to not let that happen to Lloyd. Kai would be devastated if Lloyd ended up like him.

• Kai sometimes feels insecure about his face scars and contemplates hiding them with make up.

• Kai’s touch starved but terrified of letting people in.

• He hides his negative emotions as anger and when the others try to reach out to him he pushes them away by getting angry at them until it's mutual and they leave him alone.

• Never told the others about what he did after Zane’s “death”. He fixed himself up, alone.

Thinking about how out of all the Og Ninja RGB is probably the one's that had less option if they wanted or not to join in.

Wu searched for the other three in what I can call "peaceful times", yeah Cole was still grieving and Zane had memory loss but overall these weren't near-death conditions or conditions where the world was in danger.

Maybe Zane would've eventually stumbled upon his memories on way or another, and Cole could've find a way to work through his grief, maybe even try and make ammends with his dad again Ninja or not.

And Jay, well, maybe he would've found he was adopted, maybe he wouldn't but they could've said "no" and in that exact moment the world wouldn't have ended.

Then there's RGB.

Nya was literally the only one that could do something to stop all the mess in posession, not only that but when she was kidnapped she really couldn't do much, even if she managed to escape whenever they had her she wouldn't have been able to leave the underworld on her own accord.

Lloyd is THE green ninja, he has prophecies and everything, how was he supposed to run away from that? What choice did he really have when we know the overlord is constantly lurking? Sooner or later it would've caught up with him.

And if Kai didn't join how was he supposed to rescue Nya? Was he supposed to go the legal way? How far would've that reached? Should he continue living knowing his sister had been kidnapped?

In the end as fate would've had it they were all destined to come together one way or another.

It's just that looking back Hailstorm trio had a bit more of a leeway if they wanted to join or not, RGB got stuck between a rock and a hard place.

I think it's interesting how Kai was almost considering getting the fang blade instead of Lloyd.

How he had a similar belief with Zane's sacrifice in Rebooted.

How he was so obsessed with being the green ninja that when the staff of elements currupted him, that's what it brought up.

Then after all this time of still having a hang up on being the green ninja (even though he's obviously not in the same place as season one) he sees the most awful possible version of what he could have been. He saw someone who was obsessed with being the green ninja hurt him in a way no one else had.

Looking back on how he acted while holding the staff of elements, I wonder if he truly feared he could still do something to hurt his brother. One of the most important people in his life besides Nya.

I think the thought of that tore at him a lot.

I think hearing his parents had been traitors actually hurt him because he feared that he too could become one of one too many things went wrong. I wonder if he scared himself with the suggestion that they keep their powers instead of saving Lloyd. Fighting between his attempt at logic and protecting the city, and his love for his brother who he didn't want to suffer more than he might if they couldn't stop Garmadon.

Do you think in SotFS he worried he could turn bitter and vengeful without his powers. Do you think he feared for how he could get his family hurt by being a weak link?

Did he hate himself for not being able to do more in seabound? For not getting over his "stupid" fear of water and just helping his sister before it was too late?

Do you think Kai feared they were becoming the villians when they saved Nya with Aspheera's help? Do you think he fought with the fact that he didn't care if it was for Nya. Do you think that being his logic made him feel even worse? What would he do in the name of his family if he had to?

Do you think he always hated that being good seemed to come so naturally to others while he had to make that choice constantly?

Did he feel worse because Lloyd faced the horrors of life and never once seemed to falter in his path of good.

Did he see that he fought to be a hero and think that made him a villian?

Idk maybe I'm just rambling idk what I'm saying.

Ninjago Alternative Universe elemental change with Kai having Water and Nya having Fire powers:

Ok, so before you go hear me out.

#Sibling elemental change

I know it's hard to imagine Kai having water powers instead of fire. It probably would look as if didn't fit him. It's way easier to imagine Nya with Fire element I guess.

But I think it'd be interesting to see his character development with that power. The fact that his character wouldn't fit to his power and Especially adding to this Kai's fear of drowning and the fact that he hates water.

It'd be nice character development to see.

At the begining of the season it'd Kai who was kidnapped by skeletons.

Not because he was weaker than her or something. Kai would probably try to safe his sister and by coocidence got kidnapped instead of her. Just to make sure she was safe he prefered to sacrifice himself.

Nya would train why Master Wu and become a strong ninja of fire to rescue her brother. But also bonded with the other ninjas.

In the meantime she'd also think that Jay's flirting attempts are cute-

Later seasons would also have a big impact on Kai.

Kai was Nya's older brother. He practically raised her. So, the fact that she is a ninja fighting evil and risking her life every day would definitely made a big impact on him.

The fact that Nya is stronger than him, and he cannot protect or help her in any way, would cause frustration, anger, and above all, a sense of helplessness in him.

Kai would try to support the team in any way he could, but the helplessness would still make him feel down and be with him.

From time to time he'd act like a big brother.

He wouldn't like Jay's interest in Nya at first, but later would accept it, since she likes him so much.

There wouldn't be a phase of being a green ninja, because well he isn't a ninja.

Instead Nya would like to become one. Not because of the titel or anything, but becuase it'd mean to be better to improve. Nya wants perfection. She wants to be the best version of herself. So she works very hard to achieve that.

She wouldn't be annoying about becoming the green ninja like Kai- She would work hard to be the best.

In the meantime comes Lloyd.

Kai has way better relationship with him here compared to the cannon.

Suprisingly he isn't irritated by him, but just simply takes care with him. He plays kind of big role for young Lloyd.

Kai is patience with him and tries to teach him and be nice. Maybe it'd somehow remind him of rising his younger sister(?) Kai would spend time with him, shove comfort and some support that he needed and just act like a Big Brother towards him.

Their relationship would be pretty strong.

There would happen at slightly little drama between Kai, Nya & Lloyd. [BUT NOTHING TOO SERIOUS]

Nya would be probably a little annoyed why her brother is so nice towards him. She'd be irrited since Lloyd recently just acted like a brat. (He mostly made pranks like making Zane's costume pink and ect.-) And she doesn't understand Kai's indifference towards it.

But everything would resolve, when Nya safed Lloyd from vulcano and unlocked her true potential.

Bla bla.. to lazy to write next seasons.. But basically Kai would be a big support as a red Samurai, Lloyd's role model and he'd slowly come closer to the other teammates.

He wouldn't be just fire ninjas brother, but feel more like a part of the group.

Then the situation with the ghost would happen.

Sensei Wu would tell him about his Water Powers and that's were everything starts to break.

Kai has to learn how control water.

But the point is that Kai hates water.

Kai can't swim, is afraid of drowning and basicly is aquafobic-

This is the time where he has to overcome his fear to safe everyone.

This is the time when everything that he belived turned into a lie. That%'s the time when his life turned upside down and just everything is a mess.

He tries to deny it. He doesn't belive in it. He hates it.

He hates water.

But in the end he begins his training, because the life of the loved one's is WAY more important.

He starts training with master Wu. Nothing goes well, because of his character that is a completely opposite to this power.

Moreover he got a few panic attacts while being in the deep water that doesn't end well.

Kai hates this power. He doens't accept it as his. He doesn't accept it being part of him. He's basically forced to learn it because of the situation and persuading the master.

But in the end his able to overcome it.

By the talk with someone he's able to see the source of his fear. He finally sees the beauty of his power.

He takes a deep breath and immerses himself in the water, clearing his mind and he's calm.

He's part of the water and water is part of him.

Kai accepts this part of him and is able to control it.

Absolutely I hope that I've demonstrated the true potential of this idea, and how it could indeed turn into something really cool.

AND I HAVEN'T EVEN CAME TO THE SEABOUND PART-

But seriously I hope that someone will notice it. A nice fic could come from it.

I also really tired not to add and lavashipping ideas here, because it's not everyone's cup of tea, but it could have been here something.

I don't know if I will ever write this or not. It's really hard to tell.

But if anyone wants to write this or something simliar to it then go on. I don't see a problem. The more us the better!
