I dunno why but I really like the idea of a kwami getting so fucked up and mentally destroyed that their very concept shifts and changes to something that better describes the current horrible side of their original concept they represent.

Like, let's say Black Cat gets Chat Blanc Oblivioned becauseat some point they just want to forget all the destruction caused, and Ladybug gets Harlequin Ladybird recreation because they couldn't create enough to save someone on time (que clones with spotty memories running around lol). Fox gets Silver Fox of Deception because it's not just illusions anymore, it's outright maliciously lying and cheating. Turtle gets Tortoise of Isolation because protecting ourselves to the extreme could lead to that. Bee gets wasp of dominion, peacock gets peafowl of devastation, and butterfly gets moth of possession.

Might turn this into a kwami destroying au lol. Depending on how the holder utilises a miraculous and their intentions with it, a kwami could become corrupted with all the negativity until they basically become the anti versions of themselves through a lengthy and mindbreaking process XD

So I've watched all the English Dubbed Miraculous Ladybug episodes: 1-18.

One: I'm pissed that Alya still hasn't realized how shitty Lila is. (I mean surely with Marinette being Ladybug and Alya knowing that, the girl would have put some points together. Though I guess Alya just makes me salty because I was a reporter student/literally went to college for three years for studying journalism and she just... Anyway I have to remember she's still a kid. But also not the best friend because best friends are meant to be ride or die and if one has vibes about a person, we all feel vibes about the person.)

Two: Chloe could have had a redemption arc. She could have. She and Zoe could have been incredible power siblings. We coulda had it all.

Three: Lila reminds me of someone from my real life and I wish i could throttle her. (Legally can I? Because ive seen spoilers say that she's not even really named Lila and her mom is one of like 3 moms. So I'm wondering if she's like those people who look really young but are actually 30 and posing as teens for a con. If thats the case, legally i could throttle her.)

Four: I hated the episode of Derision. I hated the trauma porn it was. I hated how it triggered shit in me from my own high school experiences.

Five: Gabriel just shut up and die already. Even Nathalie is tired of your shit. She's probably literally counting down the days until she's dead so she never has to deal with your bullshit again. (Or she's counting how long it'll take her to snap and kill you herself before the cataclysm does.)

Six: Kagami don't trust the evil teen who is potentially a disguised adult conning people. You deserve better than her. She's a total liar and you're awesome.

Seven: I love Zoe. My baby gay.

Eight: Plagg, use your kwami senses to find the other kwami and then sneak into Gabriel's room to finish what you started. Itll be fine. Adrien will recover.

Nine: Felix! My beloved. I wanted him to win. Why couldn't he bring everyone except Gabriel back and then explain everything to Adrien while Gabriel is "gone". Then he and his mom could move into the manor, adrien have his freedom and save the kwamis, and potentially Emilie. Please?

Ten: I loved Argos. I love the idea of not being tied to certain things while being a miraculous holder. (I wish we could've seen his relationship with Dusuu, but it seemed like they were on good terms.)

(I wanna see Adrien go batshit as Chat Noir when it all comes out. Have his own little "villain" descent with a song like Felix did. Like yes please.)

At Marinette’s house

The girl was very shocked at what happened. She hoped that Adrien would realize he had feelings for her. .  Maybe it was just friendly sympathy  the ravenette thought.

“Maybe it was my imagination going too far. He could’ve never loved me, but Luka truly loves me, and I just ran away after he kissed me. I’m such a coward, Tikki.”

“No, Marinette, you are not a coward or a bad person, it was just shocking for you. You’ll talk to him tomorrow or later about what happened today. But I think you should give him a chance, he deserves it. And Adrien is very stupid for not realizing how great you are.“The kwami said and kissed her owner’s cheek. “Everything is going to be ok, I promise and if it’s not, I’ll always be here for you.”

Marinette was about to do her homework when she heard some loud screams. It was an Akuma attack. She got up from her desk and said the magic words:

“Tikki, spots on.“

In her place, there was the amazing superhero, Ladybug, who was loved by almost everyone, except for three people, Lila Rossi, Hawkmoth and Mayura. The heroine jumped off her balcony, what she didn’t know was that she was being recorded while doing so. 

At Adrien’s house

The blonde was in his bed, thinking about the love of his life (who was not Kagami). Five minutes later he got a message from his girlfriend. It was a video of Luka and Marinette kissing, or more accurately, Luka kissing Marinette. The boy was in shock, somehow he got mad and threw his phone on the other side of his room.

“So, she’s just a friend, right, Adrien?” his kwami teased him, It was painful seeing the ravenette with someone else and it always made him jealous. He truly loved her, but he didn’t know that himself yet. 

“Yes, she is, I was mad at Kagami for not respecting their privacy, that’s all. I’ll talk to her about that tomorrow at school.”

As the boy spoke, he heard the sound of an explosion. Bored and annoyed, he said with no emotion:

“Plagg, claws out.” And he transformed into the cool hero of Paris, Cat Noir.

At the park, where the Akuma attack was happening

When the heroine arrived, there was a girl with a big scarf, the akumatized victim. 

“Oh, Ladybug, welcome to the scene, I am Scarf Explosion. Now we need your loyal partner, Cat Noir.”

“Hi Ladybug, hi destroyer girl, I can see your powers are so claw-ful that we will defeat purr-etty easily. Am I right, LB?”

“Aren’t you calling me your Lady anymore or what?” asked the heroine. It kinda hurt that he stopped using the cute nickname she used to hate. But you know the saying,  ‘you don’t know what you’ve got till it’s gone’.

“You’re wrong, little kitten! My powers aren’t lame! Wanna see?” 

After saying that, the villain took off her scarf and threw it at the ravenette who was a little distracted by the fact that her partner stopped loving her. It felt like hell for the girl who never experienced loss before. She did have a lot of pressure on her, but she had never lost anything. Well, before Kagami appeared and ruined her future relationship with the blonde, which would’ve slowly been growing, at least in her imagination. 

Then the explosion hit her.She was thrown backward, landing on the ground. She could feel more forming under what remained of her suit, exploding on the ground with a thud. Ladybug opened her eyes and looked down at her body. Bruises were already forming on the skin the explosion had exposed .The heroine opened her eyes with a tremendous effort and said:

“Cat Noir, you are the best partner ever. I…” She started coughing blood and closed her eyes. 

With the unconscious heroine in his arms, the blonde went to the hospital, but not before he took the girl’s earrings and she detransformed. It was Marinette. The love of his life, his whole world, was the same girl that was sitting behind him in class, who he only considered just a friend. He felt so bad and couldn’t bear the thought of losing her. The boy screamed for help. A few nurses heard him and went to help. The person in his arms was covered in blood and almost dying. The blonde kissed the girl's forehead as the nurses carried her into the operation room.

Almost forgetting about the Akuma, the boy started crying. But the news made him go back and face the monster. On his way to the park, all his thoughts were about the bleeding ravenette and how he’d get revenge on the ones who hurt her. Tears were still streaming down his face

He lost control and ripped the scarf, without the villain seeing him, then Cataclysmed the Akuma, almost killing the poor girl in the process. He detransformed in a corner and placed the earrings in his ears. .He called the Lucky Charm and said:

“Miraculous Misterbug!”

Everything went back to normal, and Marinette was in his arms. All the wounds were gone. She opened her eyes as his earrings were beeping. The boy hid again, but after his detransformation, Tikki was sick. Plagg noticed that and cried for her to wake up. 

“Marinette is the Guardian, she should know how to bring her back to normal.” The blonde encouraged his kwami, who was worriedly looking at his dear old friend.

“I just hope she’ll be ok. You can transform now, Adrien.”

“Plagg, claws out!”

The hero found Marinette and showed her the little creature that was lying down.

“I’m sorry, Marinette, I couldn’t save both of you in time.”

“What do you mean? Is Ladybug okay?”

“I know your secret, LB. We need to save your kwami before it’s too late.” The ravenette put the pieces of jewelry back on and let the black cat carry her to her room. She laid down and tried the same method Master Fu had used to bring Tikki back a few months ago. She had flashbacks of that moment and started crying. 

“I know you miss him. I do too, but now he doesn’t have that much pressure on his shoulders. Right?”

“I-I-I can’t...take it...anymore. I have ..s-so many responsibilities, you...have n-no idea about that. You are careless. You’ve never felt pain.” Even if Cat Noir felt sorry for the girl who was losing control she went too far.

“You think my life is perfect, right? You never asked how it really felt. What I’m going through. I lost my mom. My father doesn’t even love me. And you never gave me a chance. Do you have any IDEA how hard my life is?” In tears, he jumped and ran away from the girl who couldn’t take her eyes off him. 

She felt really bad and like a monster. The ravenette looked in the mirror. All she saw was an ugly and horrible person, not the nice and careless girl who she used to be. Being Ladybug destroyed her. Tears were running down her cheeks as she punched the mirror. Blood gushed from her hand and it flowed down onto her  arm. Smelling the blood, Cat Noir immediately returned. He hugged her from the wind and kissed her cheek. She had so many responsibilities and it was okay to break down sometimes. They were both wrong in their own ways.

“Let’s get you cleaned from the blood. You look like you’ve been fighting demons.” 

“LEAVE ME ALONE! DON’T TOUCH m-me. I don’t...deserve you.”

“Hey, hey, stop and come with me.” In the sink, she cleaned and disinfected her arm. 

“Does it still hurt?” He asked her calmly while he ran his fingers over the wound. 

“It never did.” Their eyes met. Both of them felt a connection at that moment but immediately turned away. They couldn’t bear looking in each other’s eyes. It hurt too much.

“Let’s just go and save Tikki.” The ravenette said, still burning with anger. She was furious and not because of Cat Noir, but because she was never interested in the poor boy’s life. She never asked him how he felt and she thought she was a real monster.

“Okay” He whispered in a calming tone that softened her so much.

During the process, no one spoke as Marinette concentrated intently on healing Tikki (Fu trained her before he lost his memories and this was the first time she applied the technique) and because none of them knew how to start the conversation.

After the procedure, the kwami only needed rest, so Marinette put her into the bed with lots of macarons nearby. 

“Marinette, there are some things we need to talk about. Like for example what happened earlier? You looked scary, like a maniac and I became worried.”

 “I have no idea, I was just dancing and then my hand broke the mirror while doing so.” She was lying and the blonde could tell that. Her eyes had lost their color and he knew something was off.

"And the panic attack afterward…."

“I was scared that someone might’ve seen my terrible dancing.” She answered so fast that he didn’t even manage to blink. 

“I can see something is wrong and you can trust me!” He moved closer to her and put his hand on her neck as his thumb was brushing her cheek. “Your eyes are not as full of life as they used to be. They’re dull. Please tell me and I might help. And you know I will only be able to help if you tell me.”

“I-I-I don’t...know what to say. I know you’re near me and it breaks me that I’m not. You are the best person in the world, aside from Adrien, Alya, Nino, and my parents” and she smiled. 

The blonde blushed at the compliment that was addressed to him. These moments felt like heaven to him.

But he already had a girlfriend, an amazing one. A girlfriend that loved him no matter what, who he cared about and he couldn’t cheat on her. Marinette didn’t truly love him so he got up and with a painful goodbye, he left the ravenette with her mouth open. 

“What has gotten to him, Tikki? He just left without saying anything.”

“We’ll discover tomorrow at patrol, now go to bed.” The red creature said. It was the first time she was that serious.

ML Ladybug Babbles

HOLY FUCK GUYS! I wish this episode came out in order. Cuz it’s clearly a set up to the final 2 episodes for this season. Anyways, to my Babbling!

Cute way to start the episode, a flash back to Adrien making Marinette her birthday gift from season 2.

Frigging plagg! Don’t be rude and bash on his gift! He’s trying.

Ya know for someone who’s very strict about house guest, Gabriel sure has a long af dining table.

Adrien’s face as he talks about Marinette and how, “she’s an awesome girl.” Please, child. I beg you, please realize that you like her as more than just a friend.

Is the park they’re having the party the one by Marinette’s house? Cuz if that’s the case then that means Lila lives pretty close to Marinette. Which is a YIKES imo.

Speaking of, this bitch. I hate to admit it but she’s pretty good. And I mean for being a bad guy. She was smart to set up Marinette sure, but her true cleverness was how little to no evidence was left behind. She’d be a better villain than hawkmoth tbh. She seems a bit more calculated than he is.

Enough praising her, I as well as many others were probably in an uproar because of how she played Marinette.

Also, can I add wtf is up with her friends? I just... idk I know they have it to where they all believe Lila and her LIES!!! It’s just still infuriating how easily they are to believe that Marinette had done all those things. Like really? The one person in class who tries to help and be nice and friends with everyone. Suddenly acts out in such a way because of some girl she doesn’t like?

She doesn’t like Chloé but hasn’t done anything even remotely close to how Lila “shows” everyone how Marinette treats her poorly, even though she tries to be her friend.

I know it was part of the plot so Hawkmoth can akumatize her friends and all. I just.... ugghhh, I wish their faith in Marinette was stronger I guess.

On akumatization! Marinette and her mom getting akumatized?! Imagine how much of a powerful duo they’d be!!! There was pontential but it was snubbed from us!!! Marinette getting out of being a villian I’ll pass, but dang. I wanna see her mom as one.

Anyone else notice how Chloé and Sabrina didn’t get akumatized? 🤔 wonder why that is. By all accounts, it’s known that Chloé and Marinette don’t get along. And Sabrina seemed likely to be akumatized cuz she and Marinette aren’t the closest of friends. So how is it some of her close friends fell for the trap, but she didn’t?

Alya saying she “Totally believes her.” Girl! Where was that loyalty to your BEST FRIEND at the start of the season?! Yes I’m still a bit salty about it.

But at least she was there to help Marinette now I guess.

So the peacock miraculous is broken? How? Where? It looks relatively normal. Duusuu seems to be ok too. If the miraculous was broken shouldn’t the Kwami assigned to it suffer affects too?

Senti-bug’s acting is so bad.

Thank goodness Ladybug came in to snap chat Noir to his senses. But GAWD DAMN THIS BOY!!! Seriously, he just totally believed what sent-bug said because it was like a dream come true. Ladybug was so over it. Can we also discuss how random it was that senti-bug was giving free will for a brief moment? Random.

Chat Noir calling Hawkmoth grandpa, 🤦‍♀️ boi if only you knew.

Mayura and Chat Noir willing to be sacrificed if it meant aiding in the ones they care about.

Kinda gives them some similarities, both can be reckless to help their partner. Things to keep in mind. (For me at least)

Gabriel really just chucked his son off a roof huh?!

OF COURSE A PHOTOSHOOT WITH ADRIEN WAS WHAT SHE GOT FOR KEEPING UP HER END OF THEIR DEAL!

Like SURE! Why not give her that? Not like it’s gonna be harder to prove she’s a snake if her popularity grows. Again, probably a plot for later down the road but UGH!!!!

The fact that she got no repercussions of any sort for what she did this episode; and instead got rewards. I hate it. And it’s not because of writing; where she should be punished at the end of the episode and things will be la dee da. I’m sure justice will come to her at a later time, at least I’m hoping it does.

It’s just one of those things, where you see someone you dislike getting good things even though they don’t deserve it. The kind of a typical thing in fandoms ya know?

Thank you Adrien for getting Lila to admit she made it all up to frame Marinette. Serious/upset Adrien is one we haven’t seen. One that came out only when Marinette was threatened. Boi! Just realize you care for her more than others cuz you like her! It’s been 3 seasons you dense rock.

Yeah that disease you have is called, “you’re a FUCKING LIAR!!!!”

Idk what stupid story she made up to get everyone to believe she made things up based on a fake illness. I just wanna know why y’all so gullible I swwweeeaaarrrrrrrr.

Marinette’s face at the end is a MOOD.

I hope that even though they’re probably gonna start do photoshoot together. That Adrien keeps his distance from Lila when the camera’s aren’t on them. I like the thought of a cheery and happy looking Adrien suddenly going deadpan around her once the shoot it over.

The end card, Adrien looks so sad. Is it cuz of having to work with Lila now? How his fantasy wasn’t reality? He just looks so unhappy.

Anyways, like I said before; I wished they released this episode later. Because it’s suppose to be 3rd to last in production order. Meaning that it was most likely suppose to set up the 2 part season finale.

First Thoughts on Timetagger

General impression: hOLy cRaaaAAAPPPppPPPppp

-Chris hanging out with Alya’s sisters? Yes good 10/10 more plz

-Aaaand apparently in the French dub Chris’s name is Noel. Seemed kinda weird at first since Noel sounds like a girl’s name to me BUT then again since “Chris” in Chris Master was supposed to be a pun on Christmas and Christmas in French is Noel, I guess it makes sense. And maybe it’s more masculine-sounding to French speakers idk -shrug-

-Pigeon guy has been akumatized 23 times?? What is going on with the pigeons?!?

- “This is the 24th time I’ve akumatized Mr. Pigeon, and still no success” tHeN wHY dO yOu kEeP dOiNG iT, hMMmMM??!

-Isn’t that supposed to be, like, the definition of insanity or whatever? Doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result? #GabrielIsInsane (then again...I guess we kind of already knew that :P)

-(but hey, at least Mr. Pigeon is an adult and not a HECCIN’ TODDLER lol)

-Good gravy Chat, you’re gonna give yourself one heck of a brainfreeze eating your ice cream like that

-wait wait wait an akuma sent back from the future? HOO BOY there’s a lot that could be said here

-So I found the idea that Hawkmoth was still at large when Ladybug and Chat Noir were adults a little hard to swallow, not so much from a story standpoint but from a production one. I’ve always assumed they would defeat him at roughly their current ages because I’m pretty sure the defeat will be shown before the end of the show, and I doubt that in the show they’d go through the hassle of actually aging the characters up more than a year or so, maybe two at most...you know, about as far as they can get without having to change the models and such. But then towards the end they threw us a curveball: the Hawkmoth of the future might not be the same person as the Hawkmoth of the present.

-Now, that answers the question of how they can (presumably) defeat Gabriel as teens and still have to deal with a butterfly villain as adults. However, it also raises several more, such as:

If it’s not Gabriel, who is the new Hawkmoth?

Assuming the Butterfly Miraculous is returned to Master Fu after the current Hawkmoth’s defeat, how would the new Hawkmoth get their hands on it?

No one but Nathalie knows that the current Hawkmoth is Gabriel, so how would Chris? And if no one in the present knows that Hawkmoth is Gabriel, why would the akumatized victims of the future know the identity of the new Hawkmoth? As such, it’s actually not impossible for it to be Gabriel again, back from a hiatus. 

Then again, in the future it might be public knowledge that Gabriel used to be Hawkmoth, if he is exposed and perhaps imprisoned after his defeat in the present. 

Like seriously, there are  s o  m a n y  w a y s  this could be interpreted, so many scenarios that could be theorized. My brain hurrrrrts

-Regardless, #SaveNooroo. Just...save Nooroo. Please. He does not deserve this mess DX

-Also, when Timetagger first informs Hawkmoth that he comes from a time where Ladybug and Chat Noir are adults, Hawkmoth didn’t seem particularly surprised, and just agreed that yeah, he should take ‘em out now before they get more powerful. In other words, this absolute jerkface is darn well aware that his adversaries are a pair of teenagers. What a horrible horrible man

-YOOOoooOOOOooOOoO Alix’s watch has been a Miraculous this whole time?!? And also Rabbit Alix #confirmed! AND we have her as an adult too?? GOOD GOLLY GRACIOUS THERE’S A LOT GOING ON HERE

-But wait, if Alix’s family has had the Rabbit Miraculous for however long, then what does Master Fu have? Fluff was in the Miracle Box during Sandboy...then again, the watch form in the “disguised” form, so maybe Master Fu had the kwami but not the actual Miraculous? Maybe a new Miraculous was made after the watch was lost, since he still had the kwami? How connected are kwamis to their Miraculous--dose it have to be a particular special thing or can any accessory become a Miraculous if a kwami uses it? SO MANY QUESTIONS

-Looks like Alix escapes the Short Zone as an adult 

-Her adult design in general is pretty dope tho

-hi Fluff is adorable and I love her

-They comment that, unlike current Ladybug and Chat Noir, Bunnix can use her power repeatedly without having to turn back, much like we saw from Hawkmoth during Hero’s Day. And like on Hero’s Day, they explain her ability to do this by her being an adult. Is it really an age thing, or just an experience/practice thing? If it’s an age thing, why did Fu choose teenagers? Again, questions and questions and questions! 

-I noticed they were very careful not to show us Adult!Ladybug and Chat Noir’s faces, or really much of them at all. From what little we did see though, their suits don’t seem to have changed. At first I wondering if the “they get suit upgrades when they get older” idea was actually just a fanon that we all took for granted for whatever reason, but no, not entirely; Astruc himself had those concept sketches for Adult!Ladybug with different outfits. So either A.) they changed their minds and decided they should just have the same suits indefinitely, or B.) they just didn’t wanna retexture/remodel for just a few brief shots.

-As the characters said a few times though, “the future is not set in stone”. So anything going on in Timetagger’s timeline can and should be taken with a grain of salt--it could happen, but it’s not necessarily guaranteed. (in other words, use the events of Timetagger’s future in your fics all you want, if you want; but don’t get mad at other people if they choose to do something different.)

-Sooo Timetagger was actually Chris? Hmmm...

-And...Mr. Pigeon becomes...Mr. Rat? Umm...ok then lol

Princess Fragrance. (1x04)

Overall Thoughts:

-What is this production order?? Seriously, in every suggested rewatch order I’ve seen, it’s always had Stormy Weather, CopyCat, Pharaoh, and Lady Wifi much earlier in the season because they’re good exposition and stuff like Princess Fragrance much later. *sigh* They’re just messing with me, and production order in season 1 is totally meaningless, isn’t it? @me you should’ve just done release order. 

-Ooh, love the rain effects. 

-This episode has less character emoting than Evillustrator which I think only makes the lower animation quality stand out more. To be clear, I'm (almost) never gonna disrespect Miraculous’ animation because animation, especially under tight money/time constraints, is extremely difficult and this show’s animation is great considering how much they have to do; I’m just pointing out that there are episodes that are quite seamless and episodes that...aren’t

-I love that 360 camera of the classroom, and how Marinette and Adrien are missing and Ivan’s asleep. Also, lab safety is very important, guys, don’t bring flammables into a lab.

 -”Are you a friend of Chloe’s?” “Yes, I’m a friend of Chloe’s! We’re BFFS” “Aha! Chloe doesn’t have any friends!” Just everything about the doorman plus Chloe running away from the pizza is comedy gold, guys. 

-Adrien’s “done with Plagg” face lol. 

-THE BOWL HELMETS

-I’m cracking up at the level of ridiculousness at Master Fu’s. The way he heals her, Marinette’s cat story, the fact that Master Fu knows the truth and instead of being a homie and telling her, he’s just like “aight, your cat’s healed now”, and then Tikki flying up to Marinette very much not like, you know, a cat. The level of bullshit is so high in this scene and I am enjoying every second of it 

-Princess Fragrance really out here getting married to Prince Ali at 13 years old. But I mean, like what 13 year old wouldn’t do something like this given the chance 

-Chloe deserved to run into that pole #sorrynotsorry

-That pole swing move with the 360 camera, like, man, we as a fandom do not appreciate the camera work nearly enough in this show 

-Chat Noir licking himself clean... I’m just gonna leave that there

Villain (Reason, design, power, difficulty, etc):

-I love what this episode does, but I hate the villain?? and I don’t know why??? I think it’s the awkward singing. Speaking of, singing wasn’t even like an established part of Rose’s character in the episode, so why was is it included??? 

-Reasoning for akumatization: Chloe being a bully=6/10

-I mean, like Princess Fragrance’s costume isn’t bad, but I’m just not personally fond of it? 5/10

-Her powers are so weird?? Like the perfume mind-control I get, and that’s a great power. But the singing?? This is just to let us hear Benjamin Bollen sing isn’t it. idk, 8/10 for the perfume mind control, 5/10 for like everything else

Powers/Miraculous (skill/usage, plan, design, etc):

-Her power works by air dispersal, so that’s hard to beat. Although, Ladybug’s plan is to blow it up?? I ... just... that doesn’t sound right, but I don’t know enough about chemistry to dispute it. (?/10)

-I like the use of the balloon, so I’ll give them that. 7/10

Character Moments:

-Aw, Rose being too sweet for this world (She literally has wings on the back of her dress??). Anyway, Rose is bisexual, Julekarose 4ever, and also, Juleka giving her adoring looks while handing her tissues

-I adore Prince Ali even though we only hear about him like twice after this. He’s the sweetest little cinnamon roll and I will adopt him

-Chloe is a selfish bully, but in context of who she is it’s interesting that she craves the attention of the wealthy, high class Prince Ali, demands his attention away from others, and puts in the bare minimal effort to earnestly achieve it (i.e. giving him a small toy she picked up off the street). It’s like the attention she craves of the high class is equivalent to the lack of attention from her mother; she’s jealous for attention, but she doesn’t put in the effort for it maybe because she doesn’t know how and/or she’s afraid to fail if she tries. 

-Marinette and Tikki are friendship goals. And I love Tikki’s laid back pose while they’re talking by the river. 

Lovesquare Moments (who and how much I fangirled):

-Ladynoir: Chat Noir tries to put an arm around her shoulders, and she refuses (JUST YOU WAIT, LADYBUG) 

-Adrienete: “You two really are made for each other. Neither of you can make it to school on time.” THE IRONY. Also, why did Adrien get there so much later than Marinette?

-Anyway, he catches her and “Woah, You okay? Nothing broken?” and let me tell you this one time they touched SUSTAINED me until well into season 2. IT’S BEAUTIFUL. 12/10

-Ladybug vs Chat Noir!! I know everyone else hates when this happens, but I’m pretty much always entertained because they’re equal power/skill-wise and he’s like the only one who could really go head to head with her. Ladybug is literally at the center of this spectrum (and I await the day she refuses to fight him because she loves him too much <3). In the meantime, here she yeets him into the river 6.5/10

Developments in Overarching Story:

-Heyo, it’s the beginning of Marinette’s helmet disguises! I love how it works every time 

-Oh, I forgot how much I loved seeing Marinette be a badass sans superpowers this episode! This was such a great showcase for how Ladybug is only great because it’s Marinette’s creativity and problem-solving behind the mask

-Kwamis are subject to things like colds. I wonder if we’ll see more stuff like this. 

-MASTER FU!!!!! I totally forgot this was the episode we first meet him. And there’s a close up of the turtle bracelet!!!

-”Ancient Chinese secret. Just like yours.” So much information in this line, guys

Lesson for Kids:

-I wanna get rid of this category, but there is finally a lesson in this episode

-Don’t put off your responsibilities/get distracted, especially when there’s someone relying on you to take care of something!

8 and 24 for Miraculous ask meme?

Well, firstly, this is such a nice surprise! My first ask! Thank you, anon!Anyway;8. Favorite akumatized villain?Okay, so I still haven’t seen the other half of season 2 (except small scenes) so keep in mind that I won’t be including Frightengale, Syren, Zombizou, Frozer (I’ve seen most of this episode but never watched in full), Style Queen, Troublemaker, Queen Wasp, Reverser, Anansi, and Malediktator. I have seen Catalyst and Sandboy. XD I also haven’t seen Chrismaster from season 3 for some reason.So, I really loved Timetagger, despite the episode had much to be desired but was pretty fun. I don’t think he’s my favorite though, but real close. He deserves a mention. I really found him funny and a creative akuma. I have a soft spot for Copycat because he looks like my beloved Chat and I loved his evil antics. Plus, he had some awesome scenes. Evillustrator gets some points for being a very creative akuma (pun totally intended) and he was actually oddily nice. A great step outside the norm. Plus, Nathaniel rules. I’m sorry. Stormy Weather was great for obvious reasons (hated her in Stormy Weather 2, though). I loved Gamer in Gamer 2.0 specifically. Volpina is a great villain, she just rubs me the wrong way, possibly reminds me of someone from my past, maybe. Dark Cupid was nice too, as well as Reflekta (though she was ugly as heck). Favorite though... Um... Hm... I think I’m gonna go with Gamer 2.0. I like his design and found his reasons for being akumatized understandable. He was also very fun.24. Alright, that’s all I can remember for now but I like A LOT of MLB AUs... I think my main faves right now isLady Fairy; Nooroo gets a good holder and I get to love Marinette as I was supposed to but the show ruined her. Lady Fairy is and adorable name and her design is cute. I also have a soft spot for those Blind AUs, man. Plus, Chat and Lady Fairy are actually a team, YAY, and I love the akumas being good.Twin AU: Felix and Adrien being brothers is beautiful. This should be enough said. Plus it’s utterly hilarious and fun. I LOVE the concept MLB and I like it being mashed with the now MLB, sue me.Mentor AU: Another mash up of Concept and Now. It’s a adorable and I have already made fan fiction for it, okay? I like Chat getting his own mentors to teach him respected hero things since Mari ain’t gonna share any of that with him. I like him having parental figures to teach him. Great. 10/10. Recommend. Also, it is still hilarious.Kwami Swap: I have always liked it. I just like the idea of Adrien getting the earrings and Mari the ring. It would be wonderful to see Adrien get some encouragement and scolding from Tikki and see how Mari handles Plagg. Akumanette: Because it’s not fair she ain’t gonna get akumatized and I wanna freaking see it. I think it would be awesome and bring some interesting drama to the show.Thank you for asking, again!
