I'll see people literally say "don't take inspiration from my art/ocs" online (mostly on toyhouse) and I just wonder how we strayed so far from what art is? no art was created in a vacuum. all art was inspired by other art and all art will inspire others. art is a constant collaboration of everyone and everything, you cannot isolate your art from that collaboration unless you keep it private

I think I have made my stance on generative AI pretty clear. But here's a refresher anyway; AI art is theft, AI writing is theft, AI has no place in creative medium of any kind.

Please don't send hate or threats ( I know how much of a shithole the Internet can be). Despite my numerous attempts to inform them that fanfic cannot be written by an AI, they don't seem capable of understanding the problem. Or they are just ok with stealing from hard working creators whose art and writing is being scraped without consent to train their shitty AI. 🙄

People like this are what's wrong with fandom. If you can't be bothered writing the fanfic, why should I bother reading it?

Hello!! Thank you very answering to my sleepover weekend ask. It seems like White Collar is not available in my country lol. I finally went through and categorized / updated mine. I have this really unfortunate list called purchased - unread which is all the books I've bought but have't read yet and it is an embarrassingly large amount... I used to work at a bookstore for fun and the discount was VERY dangerous! I'm always looking for new book recs though! (and if anyone wants to ever do an Allylikethecat hosted tumblr bookclub that could be super fun!!)
