1. i made this during my first year of college, i wanted to do something kind of warm and sweet as a submission for my club's art magazine. i dont think anyone cared abt it too much bc the lgbt population there is. Small to say the least lmao. but i still liked how it turned out! i cant discredit myself for trying to experiment!

2. WHEWWW this one was an art trade and it took 2 months (i felt so bad and still do) and was the first time in a long time doing a big rendered piece so i was super nervous and unsure how i wanted it look. but i think it turned out ok!

3. i love looking back on the very first art from 2 years ago i made of my first active (and still) dnd pc, mimyr!! i still didnt know how i wanted to draw firbolgs' ears yet so you def see a transition there. shes grown and ive grown. i love her 🥺 old on left, newest on right for reference

4. the post these 3 are in is currently sitting at 39k+ notes which is just. so bizarre 😭 i do like how these sketches turned out but i feel like tumblr users will see a titty and go rabid. woman lovers unite

5. I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO FOR THIS ONE SO ..... I CHOSE ONE OF MY FAVS IN RECENT YEARS TO SHOW OFF .? this was just a mindless doodle in a group canvas session but i still look back on this all the time bc its one of the most fun ive done in a Long time. been really trying to push myself to experiment with color/brushes that im unfamiliar with and be more sketchy again bc over-rendering makes me so miserable..... this is my happy place for sure

So a continuation of my imagination as i re read the knight jason tag, i hereby present you some scenarios my head conjured up and how likely it is

1. Knight jason become jealous of a duke who secretly likes the reader, but the duke is sketchy tho with 3 dead wives and he is 30 years older with a mustache and suspected for embezzlement. HE IS RICH THO so he might provide more??? But alas jason finds him sketchy so he nudges the king to prosecute and whatever and the duke was sent to jail and now all is good

4/10 idk feels like a one and done thing but not impossible

2. This time with an earnest duke, a solid good guy, was a merchant who built his textile imports empire and now he is sitting in gold. Again jealous jason bc this time nothing is fishy. But the reader chooses jason over the dude

6/10 more cute but we havent even passed the friendship level for the both of them, they havent even had a full convo together. Not impossible but cuter

3. NSFW reader is ovulating and cant get herself off so jason had to take care of her out of impulsiveness and yeah he was beet red after eating her out, came in his pants, embarrassed about it but she finds it cute.

7/10 i know he is gonna whip himself afterwards and it pains me knowing this

4. Reader asking him to go and get some berries and what not with him and they talked alot, she feels comfortable enough to say that she likes him enough to not feel forced living together, and he blurts out that he knows she works in a bookstore but backtracks so he doesnt sound like a creep. It all ends well with the reader kissing him on the cheek saying she’ll bake a pie for him

8/10 he deserve all the love and sweetness in this world

5. Reader tending his wounds. I KNOW THIS IS YOUR SPECIALTY, you might get bored but its and oldie but goodie, its nice but the reader is mostly pissed bc some of the wounds are self inflicted so in the end jason feels bad and try to be kinder to himself??? Idk how to tie the strings together

7/10 a bit abstract in concept but its nice

the art style is so unsettling and creepy. its got sketchy lines and weird freak of nature characters. i am going to be EXTREMELY selfish here in saying that i think u will very much enjoy the art style and also i want 2 see how u would draw some of the characters bc ur style is very monochrome and messy (<< i mean this in a beloved sense i love your linework so much) and i think it fits the vibe so perfectly. on a completely unrelated note are you still taking commissions.

ITS GOT ONE OF THE ALL TIME BEST OSTS EVER BTW. i still have the main battle theme (which is called pepper steak btw. best name for a song ever) as my ringtone on my phone. my video game ost rank goes 1.portal 2 2. off 3. undertale 4. minecraft. the off ost holds higher regard in my brain than undertale. shaking your shoulders it fits the vibe of the game soooo perfectly.

i will not get into the story too much here bc i already talked about some vague spoilery stuff in that post and i dont want to tell u too much more in case u do play the game urself BUT. ohhh my god. i could talk about the story for hours. u can ask aster after we finished the game we sat on call for like 2 hours while i walked her through my personal take on the ending and then she gave me her thoughts on the ending and EVEN THOUGH WE PLAYED THE GAME TOGETHER AT THE SAME TIME (i streamed it for her) WE HAD DIFFERENT OPINIONS ON THE END. ITS SOOOOO FUCKING GOOD its one of those things where like. its so open ended that nobody ever gets into fights about what the "right ending" is because. well. there isnt one UGH i love that shit.

also zacharie is here. he is such a beloved character to me hes been one of my biggest huge comfort characters since like. 2015. i love him. hes like sans undertale for people in 2008. he was the original sans undertale. i think they would be best friends

So wattpad was the first fanfic site i used, starting back in middle school. Ao3 seemed sketchy to me at the time, and wattpad was well-known and looked clean and neat and tidy and professional. I read on there for a small while, and even posted, before trying ao3 and discovering it was way better. While i still sometimes post on wattpad, i don't read on it anymore.

Below are some of my reasons as to why i think ao3 is superior to wattpad:

EVERY aspect of ao3 is 100% completely free. No paid stories. No ad-free version

ao3 doesn't have any ads whatsoever. Wattpad does.

ao3 is run by volunteers, while wattpad is definitely a Company. Wattpad is advertising to you, tracking what you read and recommending things to you (yet somehow really only recommending their paid stories rather than what you would actually read). It reeks of capitalism.

Watpad also tracks where the readers are reading from, their gender, and age. They show these things to me as an author. And i think that's creepy.

ao3 is set up as a library/archive, not a social media site or shopping site. This is really refreshing.

Ao3 is completely customizable if you have an account. You can change the colours, fonts, and even formatting to cater to what you personally want. Wattpad only has its usual mode, and maybe dark mode if you have the app?

Ao3 feels far more personal and private, which actually makes any community built there feel way nicer + more genuine. Comments on ao3 and comments on wattpad feel different.

Ao3 has a much, much better search engine. Got can search and sort by title, author, fandom, rating (general, teen, mature, explicit), tags, language, length, date, ship, ship dynamic (m/f, f/f, etc) and more. On wattpad it's really hard to find what you want to read, due to 1) it's search engine sucks 2) even when you search something specific, their completely unrelated paid stories come up in the search too and 3) their tagging system isn't that good

ao3 had an AMAZING tagging system. and the tags aren't hidden either, nor is the tag limit small. You see all tags to a story before you even read the summary, so you know if you even WANT to read the summary. Tags make searching for what you want easier, and also knowing what stories to avoid (which is especially good if you have triggers!!)

wattpad only has general and mature labels, and no content warning. Ao3 has general, teen, mature, and explicit, and well as required warnings. All these things are easily, simply, and clearly displayed.

While uploading to ao3 is more steps to learn, once you know how it works it's WAY more efficient & easier than wattpad. I still upload to wattpad bc i feel bad for anyone who started reading my fics there before i got ao3, but. I have to like force myself to upload. It is a fucking pain in the ass and it is so SO glitchy and not user-friendly at all. I dread uploading to wattpad.

also idk if it's just me but i fell like i find much higher quality stories on ao3. Obviously someone's story doesn't have to be high quality, it's art, it's an expression of the soul, art doesn't have to be good. But as a reader i want to read something high quality that i will like. And i feel like i find that more on ao3.

anyways i love ao3 so much. if you are still using wattpad and are too scared to try anything else, PLEASE consider trying it. While there is a lot of fucked up stuff on ao3, but it is made very clear what those things are so you can avoid them. Ao3 has some really beautiful, meaningful, soul-wrenching things too. ao3 has everything. it's a library, it's an archive. it doesn't have recipes though. And if it does? well, that's against the law.....

Basically, this is an Ethnography paper for my college writing class and the goal is to analyze a specific discourse community. I chose the Sims 4 Custom Content community to analyze and a required part of it is to conduct an interview with a member of that community, which is why I am reaching out to Sims 4 CC creators here on Tumblr.

Depending on how you feel about the more explicit stuff, there's a genfic version linked in the first authors comment. It's basically a plot heavy story about what drove the two to abandon their duties as Lord of Cinder and Knight to be cursed together. It was pretty helpful for me to absorb more of the Dark Souls 3 history since it's got a lot of lore and popular fan theories based on canon lore.

I think they characterized Lothric really well, and made a very believable personality for Lorian. It can lean a little heavy on the exposition at times and jumps from plot beat to plot beat in a way that only works in fanfic. Sometimes it's more a series of vignettes through their time? Worth checking out for sure.

As far as artists go, take a look thru the stuff I've tagged with #lothric or #lorian for sure. There's some really good art in there.

The one that's done a number of the ones ive reblogged siriuscygnus has some absolutely incredible art of the two. The way they do the lines and blacks and whites and even how they crop the images where they do, is just so... artist envy u know?

neanmoins-que also just has this incredible sketchy style or when its not sketchy just the quality of the lines and the motion and detail is so... I dont rly have the words to explain, just go look at their stuff. They do a lot of soulsborne fanart n i just wanna eat it. Wish i could draw like that.

I think the funniest thing is that i have some of the lowest spice tolerance in my entire family, my mum has Carolina reaper hot sauce and she absolutely lathers chips in them, I died after eating one of them, i think maybe bc i was brought up on Indian food i have a high spice tolerance, but that also means chilli flakes don't do shit for me its kind of sad so i have to go to the sketchy indian shops that 100 percent ahve at least 3 health and safety violations for my chillies.
