Ethel Archer and Victor Neuburg's friendship is so dearly funny to me.

You have this Kinsey 5 woman who married the only guy she ever fancied and loves him to bits and pieces, and spends her free time writing impassioned love poems about other women (and nothing else).

And then you have this lithe, faun-like man -- indubitably would've been called a "twink" in this day for his youth and slight physique -- who's nervous and gentle and looks at his mentor like a lovestruck puppy. Like that man hung the stars in the fucking sky.

And then he takes one look at Archer's poetry and goes "hmm... 🤨🏳️‍🌈 kinda gay."

And she's shocked at this -- vantablack pot calling the kettle black -- and whenever she voices that, he's just like, "okay, Sappho."

Yes, he took to calling her Sappho.

Neuburg reviewed all of the poems that appeared in The Equinox, and every goddamn time Archer submitted a poem, he'd turn to her and go, "gee, Ethel, pardon me if I am mistaken, but this sounds kind of gay..."

I dunno, the fact that this bisexual man and this bi/lesbian woman were friends and exchanged lighthearted banter brings light to my heart. It's sweet.

Today, May 6th, 1986, was a good day.

Up until very recently, most of the days had not been good at all. Spring break had done a number on all of you – nightmares, panic attacks, flashbacks. Some worse than others.

But today was a good day.

At least, until it wasn't.

Summer sun had invaded Hawkins and left everyone sweating and seeking shade after even a few minutes outside. AC blasted indoors and opened windows begged for a breeze to come through and bring some solace from the heat. The community pool was packed shoulder to shoulder and nearly impossible to get into – but that was fine.

Because Steve Harrington had his own pool.

Eddie, Lucas, Dustin, and Max were all already in the suburban backyard by the time you showed up with Robin. Steve had joined the other boys in the shallow end to start up a game of chicken – Dustin on Steve’s shoulders and Lucas on Eddie’s. Max sat on the pool’s edge with the water up to her shins, not able to get in further with the cast still on her right arm, and rolled her eyes as her friends tumbled over and into the water just to get back up again.

Robin went to go and sit by Max while you let yourself into the Harrington home, a container of drinks destined for the fridge just inside. By the time you had them chilling and pushed back out into the oppressive heat, Steve had pulled himself out of my pool to wait for you.

“Hi honey,” he said with a sticky sweet smile, ducking in to press a kiss to your cheek and dripping water on your cover-up.

“Hey handsome,” was your easy reply, Steve's smile lighting up further at the compliment. You called him handsome all the time and he still reacted like he'd never heard it before.

“Harrington, come on!”

His smile fell slightly as he rolled his eyes, shrugging at you before jogging back over to the pool.

You were just about to pull out your book and set up on one of the deck chairs when Nancy and Mike pushed through the fence gate.

More happy greetings, a hug from Nancy, and some chatting about the things she'd brought with her. Mike stripped off his shirt and shoes before walking over to the pool steps beside Max, submerging to his chest as he watched the others continue their game.

Robin came over and helped you and Nancy blow up the 3 inner tubes she had brought – Robin having to rescue you both with her superior musicians lungs. She quickly claimed the green dinosaur float, falling into it in the water as Dustin and Mike started to squabble over what kind of dinosaur it was supposed to be.

While you had originally grabbed the unicorn float, with it's pink hair and blue horn, you were quick to notice the longing glances from Nancy and offered a trade. She never would've ended up asking for it – she thought it was too childish to actually want the unicorn float – but you didn't miss the giddy grin on her face as she traded with you and settled into the pool a lot more gracefully than Robin.

So, with your strawberry frosted donut float and book in hand, you laid out on the sticky plastic and began to roast beneath the summer sun.

You and Nancy both had paperbacks cracked open while Robin seemed content to attempt a nap beneath her shades. Max busied herself by using a foot to gently push your floats around like a slow and lazy game of bumper cars. Mike finally succumbed to peer pressure and joined in with the boys playing with a volleyball toward the deep end and everything was good.

Everyone was smiling and laughing. Warm and lazy with the heat of a good, summer day.

Focused on a particularly intense chapter, you hardly noticed someone approaching your float until a wet chin draped itself over your arm.

Steve was looking at you with that lovesick smile again, his hair wet and pushed back as his tan skin glowed beneath the golden rays. “Enjoying your book?”

“I am, thank you very much.” But still, you placed it down on your stomach and turned your attention to your pretty boyfriend. “Are you having a good day?”

“Might have a couple bruises tomorrow, but not a big deal.” He hooks a wet arm over the side of your float, anchoring himself to you, and the skin along your thigh breaks out in goosebumps from the sudden brush of water.

“Steve, that's cold!”

He barely conceals a laugh, grin growing wider, before he tilts further toward you. “What, this?”

Was the only warning you got before he shook his head out like a dog, water flying from the ends of his hair and sprinkling all over you.

You nearly squealed, shoving him off and shouting about him getting your book wet, even though the smile on your face betrayed you.

After a few minutes of insisting it was funny as you fake pouted, and then Steve giving you some pathetic puppy dog eyes, you accepted his half hearted apology and settled again – one hand intertwined with Steve's as he held onto your float.

“Nance seems fine,” he said quietly, bringing your attention to the brunette. You had told him earlier you were worried about today, about bringing her back to the pool she spent two years barely able to look at, but she seemed perfectly at ease on her unicorn float. Just slowly turning page after page as she continued through the fantasy romance novel you’d lent her last week.

“Yeah,” you agreed, exhaling a relieved sigh, “I'm glad. She deserves it, y'know? We all do.”

Steve's hand squeezed yours, bringing your attention back to him on your other side. “You're the best, you know that, right?”

Not expecting the compliment, you got slightly flustered with the praise. “No, that's you,” you joked with a light flick to the tip of his nose.

He released your hand in mock offense, pushing your float slightly away as he put on a dramatic frown. He inhaled to reply, mouth parting, before he suddenly disappeared beneath the surface of the water.

The next few moments played out in slow motion.

In reality, Lucas and Eddie dove under the water to sneak up behind Steve – each of them grabbing an ankle and tugging him under as a practical joke.

To Steve, his heart stopped.

His chest constricted as his heart rate doubled, eyes squeezing shut as the panic gripped him tight and he waited to be pulled through the gate and thrown out on the other side.

Water filled his mouth from his half completed inhale as he was dragged under – his eyes widening and immediately beginning to burn from the chlorine.

But he wasn't in the pool anymore. It was dark; so, so dark and cold. He couldn't see anything through the murky water as he sunk lower and lower. The vice around his ankle held tight as he gave a kick, continuing to pull him back down to hell again.

To you, the world flipped on its side.

The last thing you saw before Steve went under was a flash of panic in his wide, brown eyes. Just like that night, on the boat. When he got dragged down and didn't come back up again.

“Steve?!” Your call is shrill, very quickly panicked as your adrenaline surged and your body tensed for a fight. It gets the attention of the rest of the group but you don't notice – eyes hyper focused on the spot he was before he disappeared.

In reality, you could glance down and see him in the clear water, just barely a foot below the surface. But you're not there in the Harrington’s pool. You're on a boat at Lover’s Lake and the man of your dreams just disappeared into the murky depths below.

“Steve?!” You scream again, rolling off your float and into the cool water, just like you had that night. I have to go after him, I have to get to him.

You vaguely register someone calling your name but you’re diving under, eyes burning instantly as you continue to look at Steve.

Eddie and Lucas have let him go now after sensing some sort of commotion from above, but Steve isn't moving. He isn't trying to swim up, though he is slowly ascending toward the surface. He's completely frozen there in the water, curled in on himself defensively.

You grab him and he grabs you in response, his nails digging into your bicep painfully as his eyes shoot open again. He doesn't even seem to realize its you before the two of you break the surface again.

Steve gasps for air – choking slightly on the water that was still in his mouth – and then starts to cough as he grabs tightly to you with both hands.

Your heart is pounding against your ribs like a hummingbird as your eyes rapidly scan him for the battered bruising across his throat, the blood coming from his mouth. “Steve? Can you hear me? Are you hurt?”

Robin is by your side an instant later, her head and shoulders still dry as she comes around the side to place a gentle hand on Steve’s shoulder while he coughs out chlorinated water.

Steve gives a stuttered nod as the coughing stops and he's able to take another deep breath in, his grip on you loosening to not be so painful as he closes his eyes. His inhales are coming through quickly, his eyebrows drawn together tight like he's in pain.

Your tunnel vision begins to scope out and you catch sight of Lucas and Eddie looking pained and apologetic in your periphery. They're both treading water in the deep end as you turn on them, anxiety and panic filtering out quickly into rage.

“What the fuck is your problem, huh?!” You snap, causing both of them to jump. Lucas's eyes are wide as saucers and Eddie looks like he's half tempted to book it just from the look on your face. “What the fuck kind of trick was that?! Maybe I should pull a gun on you, Lucas, just for fun. Or maybe, Eddie, I'll loop a rope around your neck for a few minutes and see how the fuck you like being reminded of almost dying!”

Both of them wince, drawing back from your outrage, which only makes you want to advance.

“H-honey,” Steve stutters beside you, half scolding and half terrified as he tries to put on a brave face. “It was just a joke.”

You turn your wild eyes back on him, body still reeling in fight or flight mode, as you realize his hands are trembling and the wetness to his eyes isn't from the pool at all. While you could easily continue to scream at them (which, when you're in a rational headspace again, you will feel guilty for), you focus in on Steve.

“Come on, let's go get you dried off, okay?” You offer much quieter, hovering close to him to try to keep you both grounded. He gives another shaky nod and lets you lead him over to the steps and out of the pool.

No one in the group says a word as you wrap him in a towel and then drape one over your own shoulders before sitting both of you down on one of the deck chairs. He continues to tremble slightly beside you as you tuck yourself tightly to his side, resting your head on his shoulder as you try to comfort him (and yourself).

We’re safe here. We’re okay. We’re going to be fine.

Everyone else watches silently as your paperback continues to collect water until it sinks down to the bottom of the deep end.

It was a good day. Until it wasn't.

as i mentioned, nakajima tends to burn bridges and the surrounding 50km radius. he turned on shiozaki when he believed that go had no "use" for him. in fact, nakajima turns on his partners when he feels they no longer rely on him.

he betrayed go to join kenoh's stable, kongo in august 2020. worth noting that the reason why he teamed with shiozaki in the first place was that he betrayed his ex-partner masa kitamiya earlier in 2018. anyway, no matter how kitamiya feels, nakajima is in kongo now.

at the time, it seemed like nakajima was the odd man out, the lone wolf of the group, but over 2 and half years, it appeared that the wolf had found his pack. there was even a haircut episode (iykyk)

in a way, nakajima stumbled into what he needed the most. friends who understood him, who lived through the struggles of noah as he did. but the thing is, despite finally finding a faction that seemed to suit him and want him, nakajima couldn't be happy. not when he and kenoh's try at the tag belts failed. inadvertently rubbing salt in the wounds, kenoh's other tag belt endeavors with other members of kongo succeeded.

so, on may 4, 2023, during a 6-man tag between kongo (katsuhiko nakajima, kenoh, manabu soya) and noah's main unit team of kaito kiyomiya, yoshiki inamura, and go shiozaki, in what was go's comeback match after 8 months of being sidelined with injury, kongo utterly and thoroughly crushes the hope of the returning shiozaki.

further humiliating him in the ring, nakajima mocks shiozaki on the mic, wondering where the strong ace of noah's past went. before him is a weak and pathetic man.

and that's exactly why nakajima lifts up his hand to deliver the final blow...

...and offer to team up. because shiozaki needs nakajima. shiozaki would be nothing but dependent on nakajima. nakajima will be irreplaceable.

leaning on none other than shiozaki's surgically-repaired shoulder, nakajima poses, hearkening back to classic axiz. and shiozaki, a head taller than nakajima, nearly crumples to half his height, clinging to nakajima in a grateful and emotional embrace, so happy to have katsuhiko back.

the thing about axiz's catchphrase is that they are "homies now and forever." and bless him and his loyalty, shiozaki took it to heart. in the two and half years axiz had broken up, go had never changed his twitter bio. he's always been repping AXIZ (and also bts lmao). he'd always been hoping that nakajima would return to his side.

and in the backstage, nakajima makes it clear, saying, "kongo doesn't need me anymore. kenoh doesn't need me anymore. i don't need him anymore either."

kenoh, of course, ain't happy. deeply hurt by this betrayal (and losing nakajima to go shiozaki!!! of all people!!!), he calls nakajima a "traitor." things are gonna get real spicy, especially as the fallout of axiz's reformation begins to settle.

New theories

This is where Episode 11 spoilers will be LITTERED throughout the post, so I beg of you, only read this when you have watched episode 11.

To start with, I do think David COULD be lying about his secret reveal for a few reasons. One, as he stated in the trial, Min fighting back more and more when She should have just given up is something David hated seeing. Since several people were thinking Ace told the truth, David realized he may as well just say what they wanted because he wasn't getting anywhere.

To back this up, David did this when people were convinced he was Arei's killer. However, it was revealed to not be David due to Teruko's thinking. Knowing this, I don't see the issue with David lying about his secret.

A few more things to consider is David during chapter 2s daily life and... anything before episode 11. David DID seem to genuinely care for Arei. A few notice examples are David talking to Arei and cheering her up and him seemingly genuinely frustrated over Arei's death and her being taken advantage off. Also notice how in the comforting scene, David doesn't pull anything fake. Hell, he doesn't even have a fake smile. That is a GENUINE expression. He can fake his beliefs and shit, but this MFer ain't faking that.

And if it wasn't completely obvious, David being the manipulator makes Hu VERY badly written. She's meant to be the mother character. Last I checked my mother doesn't try to defend people who are attempted murderers. Now, the only reason I can see her defending Nico at ALL is because they're an accomplice and Hu killed Arei. After all, Ace/Arei WERE the most troublesome of the group. What it DOESN'T excuse is her actions towards David/Ace.

Either Hu has some completely insane Psyche we don't know about or she is so FUCKING dumb that it's genuinely hard to watch. Seeing her baby the attempted murderer is one thing, but when Ace not only has important evidence (which OK sure he was willing to hide because people were assholes) and Charles and co were willing to agree with him? How could David go against that? Not to mention, Teruko was right, David's entire personality was faked. She had every reason to believe Ace over David.

Honestly though, the worst part of this episode to me wasn't the twist. It's the fucking cliffhanger. That was the most ABRUPT cliffhanger I have ever seen on this show (besides maybe the first one? But that's more so because of Eden). This one just came RIGHT out of nowhere. However, It does open up some theories to discuss

For one, take a look back at the note Eden and co Reconstructed. Notice how it says 7:30, but no specific time (AM or PM), which I have put a circle around. I believe this is where Charles said they fucked up, they realized that they were looking at the wrong time

To support this, take a look at EVERY sus person you had on your mind. Hu, Arturo, David, they all either have an alibi or had nothing to do with the murder. With all the sus people out the way and the idea of a suicide being non existent due to the games rules, that means they were looking at the wrong time.

WHICH MEANS NO ONE IS SAFE, THEY'RE BACK AT SQUARE ONE!

This would also help the fact it's the end of part one. After all, this time frame get's rid of practically everyone's alibis, so now they have to redo most of the trial from scratch at LEAST. It makes sense for part one to end there... even if the line they ended it on still pisses me off.

TLDR; I still have no idea what's up with Hu.

It's upsetting to see 🐢 posting warnings on how not to use WYB's twitter account tag in their posts as apparently they need to follow Chinese guidelines. Yes XZ as soon as he opened an Instagram, no such warning were announced and they happily tagged (and still tag) him on their CPN/fanart/candy posts in IG, some even NFSW. It's very sad. Sorry for ranting here.

I laughed out loud 🤣 when I first saw those warnings. I was like, XZ opened a IG for less than 4 weeks and his username tag is full of turtle shippy stuff, and these self righteous 🐢 never bothered getting a warning for XZ. Especially weird because XZ's brands, and international contacts such as Walter etc post about him on IG. Yet it never occurred for 🐢 to make a warning post like this.

As a xfx though, I'm used to their behaviours. They're WYB fans, at most WYB CP fans. They'll always put WYB on a pedestal, because according to them "dd will take care of gg". I still remember their CPNs from two years ago when they spread "GG was visiting DD in SDC sets and cooking for him and sewing his pants for him which he torn during his intensive dance moves". I still have the snapshots if anyone wanna challenge me. In reality though...... XZ was spending 4 weeks with army soldiers in their barracks in preparation for ACE TROOPS.

See how they behave ? So a duplicity from them isn't unexpected.

Anon, to summarise, don't get upset on how they behave. Remember two things; one, they've been behaving like this since Untamed days aka putting their fave on pedestal all the time, and two, XZ and Studio have stamped official fandoms and that ain't 🐢 . No matter how much 🐢 can argue on western apps, in Chinese side, our FC of 'XFX' are his official and only fandom. We secured Weibo seats for it 🤣💪🤣

Zenith 💚 Zen is a former member of the group [ (!)nsomniac ] of the Diasomnia division. He has good relations with his former group mates and now works at the Shard record label. He's regarded for his chaotic but calming personality, having a podcast featuring Ellis of [ (Co)-connect ], and for being one of the most successful yet cutthroat producers in the industry at 19.

Freyah 🌹 Freyah is a member of the idol group [ Hearts & Roses ] of the Heartslabyul division. She is the SubRapper and known for being the wildcard of the group alongside Ace Trapolla, the lead rapper. The two frequently bicker and are the most featured in "Hearts & Roses on crack compilations". Typically has a much more smooth flow compared to Ace and known to have a very 'chaotically cutesy' side to her choreography.

Nyx 🌊 is a soloist who started out as the head of the marketing department for [ Ocean M4fia ], an idol group in the Octavinelle division that features her two older brothers, Jade and Floyd. After leaving the marketing department, Nyx pursued her solo career by working with NRC corporation's record label and became one of the most successful soloists at 16.

Victoria 💎 Victoria is the former member of [ Poisoner ] of the Pomefiore division. During her time as a member of the group, the marketing team advertised her as the main visual and 'fanservice' to the fanbase, which made her the second most popular after Vil. But due to discourse between her and Vil behind the scenes, Victoria left NRC corporations and became a solo artist in her parent's record label. Currently one of the youngest Grammy awardees in the idol industry.

Reasons I love the Spymaster #62: He likes dolls!

#62: He likes dolls!

I really, really like dolls, and I really, really like the Spymaster [and I really, really do have a Spymaster doll!], so this reason makes me especially happy!

Anyway, we know from Spyfall that the Spymaster likes using his TCE on people to reduce them to tiny figurines and then keeping them. He remarks to the Doctor that he has kept the original O in miniature "close to his hearts": in a matchbox in his shirt pocket.

In The Timeless Children, the Spymaster also TCEs Ashad, whose miniaturized corpse becomes a plot point and source of his revivification in The Power of the Doctor.

The Power of the Doctor expands on the Spymaster's interest in miniatures. Besides keeping them as tiny mementos of past kills, he also plays with them. Check out the careful arrangement of the TCE'd seismologists:

Obviously the Spymaster has been lecturing them for a while, as this scene begins in medias res. His play makes him the brilliant cynosure and the seismologists his silent, approving audience giving him their full attention. Part of his play occurs because he's not sure when in this elaborate setup the Doctor will show up. Part of it also probably occurs because it represents what he wants: to be the smartest person in the room and revered for it.

Not only does he play with his miniatures, but the Spymaster also explicitly refers to them as a collection. "Do you like my seismologists?" he asks Thirteen. "I think I've got the whole set now!"

The Spymaster himself calls this interest in miniaturized corpses an interest in dolls. "That ain't just any Cyberman," he explains to Tegan and Ace when miniaturized Ashad unminiaturizes and revivifies before them. "It's a Russian doll!"

I know he's referring to Ashad as a Russian doll because a) there are other Cyber people hiding within Ashad and b) he's impersonating Rasputin in 1916, so he's keen on Russian references.

But I also think that the Spymaster just really likes dolls. Of course he likes the miniatures that he makes because they serve as tangible reminders of occasions when he overpowered people with his superior weaponry. Additionally, I think dolls also appeal to him because, unlike people, he can make them do exactly what he wants them to. He can't control much, but he can control his collection of miniature corpses.

To finish off this discussion, here is a picture of my own mini Spymaster. I promise I did not TCE him!!! I heavily resculpted and repainted a Disney Store Naveen head and put him on an action figure body.

Conclusion

There were high expectations going into Forbidden Door, but if anyone tries to tell you that it's a 'two match card' feel free to slap them, because they'd probably jizz over the one Bloodline match per PPV and call it the best thing ever. This PPV had its downsides for sure, a lot of weak finishes - a couple maybe done due to injuries or Sting feeling a little loopy - so it didn't come out to its full potential, but it was still a really good night for wrestling.

I would still say in spite of everything it was still a success, but I also feel like AEW and New Japan need to consider making it a 2-Day event to fit more talent on the show, we still lacked names on AEW's side like FTR, HoB, Acclaimed, BCG (if they wanted to come on I'm not sure how Jay feels about using FD as a loophole), Miro, Ethan, Dark Order, PAC, Keith Lee, TNT Champion Christian I mean Luchasaurus, Wardlow, Samoa Joe, and names on NJPW's side like Bullet Club, GoD, Alex Zayne, Nagata, Team Filthy, Bishamon, Great O Khan, Toru Yano (let Yano and Mox face off you cowards!), Master Wato, and KUSHIDA, and this is not even bringing up all the women we could've used - which frankly, we should try to schedule an All-Women's crossover PPV with Stardom featuring DDT/TJPW, AEW/ROH and maybe even other companies' talents.

But I digress, a lot of match finishes were poor but a lot of the wrestling in matches were enjoyable, I had fun and we set up some new directions and potential rematches down the line.

Match of the Night: This is probably gonna be controversial to some but I felt that the 10 Man Tag was the best of the night. Omega/Ospreay and Okada/Danielson were really good, but they also took time to get going, and I do prefer a high-energy wrestling match to a slower technical bout. Best Attire: Tetsuya Naito, man looks like he stepped out of a masquerade party and since SANADA is just his 'regular guy' persona rather than the cold skull and we had no extended Omega attire he's really the only choice. Best Performance: I want to give it to Eddie for carrying the emotional weight of the 10-man, I also want to give it to Punk for being a proper shithouse to a mixed crowd, I also really want to give it to Danielson for wrestling a clinic with a fractured arm, but I do have to give it to Omega and Ospreay as a tie they wrestled their butts off Spot of the Night: As much as I still love Takeshita decking Ishii, it's Omega kicking out of the OWA at 1

I do not see my Suns as related to any other Daycare Attendant. First of all, they are robots, and if they meet anybody Else, I consider them having been made Separately. The trio is like a little family (which is why I don't want to ship 2-3 of them with the same person in the same universe). Don't assume relationships with them, they've been through their own lives and have their own relationships. Also don't assume that if I ship with a Daycare Attendant that there's some kind of familial relation between them, because there isn't. I will adjust universes for our interactions, placing them in different pizzerias/plexes if needed, we'll figure it out together.

The human!Suns are not related to your human!Daycare Attendant, unless we Really vibe with that angle and we've plotted it out extensively. Aster, Sunny and Elio are stand-alone characters with their own lives and backstories, just like their bot-versions.

FAVOURITE PARTS OF THE IWTV SHOW SO FAR, IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER:

- "He ain't white, he French." (Oh, Louis, do I have news for you) - "I had planned to make a new life for myself in St. Louis. That was to be my destiny. And now I know I was right. But it turns out that the saint is not a city but a handsome man with a most agreeable disposition." *screams* - Lestat using his mind powers to help Louis, his crush and a black man, win a game of poker against a table of racist white bitches - Lestat, being his usual dumbass self, forgets to tell Louis that vampires are burnt by sunlight, so Louis decides to walk home in the daytime and proceeds to get burnt. The first thing he does is pour a bottle of milk all over himself and then he runs back to Lestat. Lestat bridal-carries him up the stairs and strips before getting in his coffin. "It's okay. You can be on top." - Louis crying and Lestat wiping away his tears with a handkerchief like that was so tender and gentle and sweet and I am sobbing - Cut back to the present day/framing device, right as Louis is contemplating biting his newborn nephew. "Anyway, I haven't killed anyone since Y2K." "Did you eat the baby?" "I don't kill people because - " "Did you eat the baby?" "I find alternatives to killing - " "DID YOU FUCKIN EAT THE BABY OR NOT LOUIS" - Louis ruining Daniel's dinner by unapologetically slurping a man's blood right in front of him. The man is staring Daniel down and telling him to go to Dubai's Kite Beach. This show is a comedy. - Louis says "fuck you" to Lestat and Lestat says "well fuck you too!" BUT IN FRENCH BECAUSE HE'S A FRENCH BITCH - Louis literally dying and having a mental breakdown and Lestat's just shoving a dead priest in a random crypt and telling Louis "omg mon cher you're so cute <3" - LOUIS INITIATING THE KISSES because Lestat is the bottom in this relationship you can't convince me otherwise - Louis's gay panic is so bad he doesn't even question that Lestat bit him (hey fellas is it gay to drink each other's blood?) - Lestat telling Louis that he is a "library of confusion" - Lestat saying he can tell Louis is skipping meals and being a supportive bf like "please take care of yourself babe" <3 - Anyway I'm sure there's more and there will be more when the later episodes come out but like there are definitely things I don't like about this show but the things I do like about it far outweigh them I am so enjoying watching this

I feel like either Diasomnia or Ignihyde. On one hand I'm an introverted tech god that panics at the sight of another human being, and hyperfixates on the stuff I work on with a major perfectionism issue. But on the other hand I was the "gifted" prodigy kid growing up so I was all top marks and 'smart kid' classes. Seeing as Diasomnia is the dorm where every excels at magic and classes then that also fits, but my dumbass went from a 4.0 in high school to a fucking 2.6 in college because I stopped caring about my grades.

Uhh shit. I'm not sure. I go out of my way to avoid talking to people at all costs unless they talk to me first. Extroverts scared me and rapidly drain my social battery. So I couldn't really be friends with Cater, Rook, or Kalim. Ace and Deuce would be tolerable in small amounts. In the long run I feel like I'd vibe with Trey, Jade (though I feel like he and Floyd are a packaged deal and Floyd would probably be too much for me to handle if I were to be around him too much), Azul (maybe), Jamil, Idia (gaming buddies probably), Malleus and Silver

Alright, shameless self-promotion, sanctified by an ask! I am so going to do this! In ascending order of my fond feelings for the fic:

The Night In Gale - Not my personal favourite, but definitely the read favourite, and it'd be a shame not to mention it as such. Supernatural x Good Omens (TV series) crossover. Like many SPNxGO crossovers this one also taps into the "Hey, they are both named Crowley, ain't that fun!" This one, however, brings up soem plot twists, and, dare I to say it, plot! Took me 4 chapters to come up with it. Written with the collective knowledge of 6 episodes of Good Omens (aka the 1st series) and 6 episodes of SPN. Noteworthy tag: Seat Belt Propaganda

Sick of you - Hiveswap AKA Homestuck, hanahaki trope explored through the lends of troll romance. Written around the time when my laptop burned out for the first time, so I had to re-write msot of the second chapter, because I had lost it. Subtextually fun character exploration and how people incorporate into themselves character traits of people they value around them. Blatant Tagora Gorjek apologism. Noteworthy tag: Quadrant Parkour

Between the Clock and a Hard Place - The Great Ace Attorney Chronicels, but they are more used as a setting rather than working with a premise. I wanted to write a horror and working magical system, instead I had, once again, wrote a slapstick comedy. Most notably this fic puts Enoch Drebber into the role of a refusing protagonist and it is due to this fic why I refer to him almost strictly as "Eeny". If I had finished Angelus ex Machina (more magical horror, thus time about failing and/or refusing family expectations), I'd put Angelus ex MAchina here. No noteworthy tag, sadly, I was boring in the tags.

The Original Feeling of Sharing - A self-insert "Modern Girl In Thedas" Dragon Age: Origins playthrough starting with a deviation of the plot: The initial battle at Ostagar doesn't happen. My personal power fantasy. It's funny, it reads quickly, spoiler alert: the main hero dies in the 15th chapter (out of 44). Literally the only fic when I sat down and wrote down a point by point what was going to happen and when, rather than just winging it as I usually do. Noteworthy tag: Graphic Description Of Becoming A Golem

Never is the end - Chances are this is my magnum opus. Could I have written it better? Of course. But could I have come up with something better? No. The Stanley Parable fic inspired by the release of the Ultra Deluxe, because really did the point nto carry across: TSP did everything it could have done inside of itself and could be only repetitive. To bring something new, it'd have to stop being TSP in the first place. But the challenge was: Can I write TSP outside of TSP? Also I started writing this as I began to take medication to treat my depression, so the fic starts helpless and lost and finishes with powerful justified anger, as such was my mental journey. Never is the end was written to inspire you to re-read it at least once. Noteworthy tag: Narrative Horror.

Honourable mention: They Hadn't Met at the End of the World - One of my early works which still stands up to the test of time. This is not a fanfic. A little heart-warming story about four different trolls (who as such share name of their species but not the actual species) who meet in a dying post-apocalyptic urban world and celebrate the end of the year together. Noteworthy tag: Theoretically a crossover

Drake & Future (September 20, 2015)

Diamonds Dancing is a trap/rap club song produced by Metro Boomin that was released alongside Drake and Future's collaboration mixtape called What a Time to be Alive. In the beginning you have Future talking about how invincible he feels at this stage in his life where he feels like he can "conquer anything and everything". In the pre-chorus Drake and Future narrate their time in the club: "Sippin' on Dom Pérignon for no reason/Poppin' tags, upper echelon for no reason." They are rich men living the good life, willing to let any random hot woman of their choice drive their foreign cars for fun. They are "ballin' in the middle of the club, no jersey" and drinking Ace of Spades (Armand de Brignac) by the cup; just partying the night away with no worries.

"And you know what I need/From you when I get home (Yeah)/You better not be on the phone/Talkin' up a storm like you usually do." These lines are fascinating because once again Drake is fantasizing about being a man with a woman to go home to. Drake is subconsciously walking back his I'm-not-ready-for-marriage talk on Jungle. But why though? These lines can also been seen in a figurative sense. I 100% believe that this song is about Nicki (due to Drake's emotional outro), without a doubt in my mind. Saying that.....when Drake talks about going "home" he talking about going back to their roots. And Nicki better not be on the phone "talking up a storm" (arguing with him) like she usually does (or in this case "did" since they weren't talking at this time). His verse slides into the next chorus where Drake and Future repeat the same thing. After the chorus Future raps his verse, we get the chorus again, and then Drake's outro.

"You doing me dirty/You know (Yeah, dirty, dirty)/How we let it get like this, I don't know (Yeah)/But that nigga can't save your soul (Nah)." This part functions as the comedown after a night high on life. Drake is exiting his fantasies and coming back to reality, and the reality is.....Nicki isn't speaking to him because she's with Meek and wants desperately to be seen as the neutral party in the midst of Meek and Drake's escalating beef. They aren't fighting over her.....but they're "fighting over her". Who does Nicki love more? Who does Nicki trust more? Drake feels betrayed by Nicki's silence. "Haven't even heard from you (Yeah)/How can you live with yourself?" He's disgusted that she'd cut him off again, allowing their relationship to fall in limbo once again. "Ungrateful (Hmm)/Your mom'd be ashamed of you/I haven't even heard from you, not a single word from you." Drake feels like he's given her so much of his time and energy only to be shafted by some rapper she "fell in love with" four months ago.

They are back at square one because of Nicki, and now he can't even enjoy his night partying because he's thinking of Nicki. "I'm too good for you, too good for you (Yeah)/You should go back to him, perfect match for you, unstable (Hah)/Doing me dirty (Dirty, dirty)." He taunts Nicki here, daring her to go back to Safaree. The "too good" part is Drake theorizing, "of course she doesn't want to be with me, she only likes shitty guys." It's like he wants to say "fuck you" so badly, but can't bring himself to say it. "You're making me nervous/I haven't even heard from you/You look drained, you look exhausted." Then just as quickly as that anger comes out, it gets replaced with anxiousness. His love for her makes him nervous but...he doesn't want to look too concerned. "Girl, them late nights ain't good for you/Really starting to show on you/Don't hit me up when it's good for you/Ungrateful." When Nicki was with Meek she partied a lot. But even during her strongest moments, her relationship was wearing on her physically and mentally. Drake tells her not to "hit him up". Not because he won't answer, but because he knows that she won't call him anyway.

It's a you-showed-your-true-colors moment and he wants her to hurt as bad as he's hurting in that moment. But what Drake didn't know (at that time) is that Meek was a lot more controlling in their relationship, and everything wasn't as it seemed. I bet Nicki wanted to reach out, but Meek was getting clowned by the entire world after Drake's diss song Back to Back. Memes were flying everywhere talking about how Nicki "wore the pants" and how Nicki gave him an allowance every month. Remember "is that a world tour or your girl's tour?" With an ego as big and fragile as Meek's, communication between Drake and Nicki could have put Nicki in a dangerous position.
