Since Ace Attorney is trending for some random ass reason rn I’m taking it as a sign to say I’ve been working on a video presentation thing for a friend explaining literally every single game, plot wise (like going real in depth for the BIG cases)- The Great Ace Attorney Duology included and was thinking of posting it on YouTube.

It’ll probably end up being like, 4+ hours long- so really this is for fans of the series to indoctrinate their friends/have them know the crazy lore or for freaks like me would 100% listen to a 4+ hour yap session on all the games.

Anyways… thoughts?

how do you clone a fey? that's trick question; and fey love those!

@the-navistar-carol (<333) brought up a good point while I was talking about my changeling danny au with her -- Dani! How would she exist in this au? Danny's a changeling - a fae. How would Dani, a clone of him, be created? How do you make a fey? Not through any means that Vlad is doing; you can't make a fey through unnatural means, considering the Fair Folk are nature. And Vlad's not a fey himself -- he's a halfa, even if he could make a fey, it's not in his best interest too. He's a powerful ghost, but even the weakest fae can overpower the strongest ghost. He won't want a clone of Daniel to be more powerful than him.

(In a three tier hierarchy it goes Ancients -> Fae/Mythos -> Ghosts. They all live in the Infinite Realms, but on different Planes. The fae live above the Ghost Zone in the Fey Wild, while the Mythos live beside the Wilds or down in the ghost zone depending on where they are. Places like the Frozone, the Athens Acropolis, and other such large islands climb throughout all three Planes.)

(While Ghosts can travel into the Fey Wild, its generally advised against as the ectoplasm tends to manifest differently there due to close contact magic. It can make it rather disorientating for a ghost, and as human spirits, the Fae living there would jump them faster than they could blink. So unless you're willing to play mind games with 'steal thy name eat thy face' fae, most ghosts keep out of the way of the Wilds. Fey can travel down into the Ghost Zone, they just don't bother.)

That's of course, not taking into account if Vlad even knows Danny's a fae himself. Vlad doesn't ring me as someone who really cares much about ghost culture or the going ons of the GZ. He might be aware that fae exist, but the moment he realizes he can't use them for personal gain he just doesn't bother with them. The risk is greater than the reward, and he'd rather not get eaten. But lets assume he's aware by now that Danny is fey, and has to take that into account while cloning him.

So, how does Dani exist? Good question! Honestly; i'm not sure. She might not exist at all, or if she does, she's more halfa than fey. Vlad would need a lot of human dna and ectoplasm to balance out all that fae magic. He manages to steal DNA from Jack and Maddie to do it, and since Jack's fey ancestry is very dormant its much easier to use alongside Danny's DNA.

In turn, it results in a little girl whose more human-ghost hybrid than clone. With that little extra boost in fey magic making her not a fey, but still relatively powerful. Dani is less of a clone and more of a lab-grown little sister. It's a rather tedious, complex process that has Vlad tearing his hair out trying to figure out. But he does eventually figure it out.

i keep adding things to this one post and then realizing they'd make more sense as a separate post. so here's how the party explained what happened in dagger ending au to bonnie:

Siffrin was very sad and worried about everyone leaving, because he was alone before he met us and he didn't want to be alone again. But he didn't talk about it because we all had plans that seemed very important, and he didn't want to get in the way, and he didn't want to admit that he didn't have anything else to do. It sounds pretty silly when you put it like that, but the rest of us were nervous to admit how much we cared about each other, too! Sometimes it's hard to tell someone how important they are to you, if you don't know whether you're important to them.

During the quest it was okay, because Siffrin knew we would stay together until Vaugarde was saved. But getting to Dormont meant the quest was almost over, and they got so upset at the idea of everyone leaving, that they didn't really care about what they were doing. Why did it matter what happened to them, when they were going to be sad and alone tomorrow either way? So they weren't very careful while they were training, and they got hurt. Luckily Odile saw, and Mirabelle healed them right up.

Now, he's really glad that we all decided to stay together longer! But he might still feel worried for a while, because it's hard to believe that everyone isn't leaving, after he's been dreading it for so long. And sometimes when you're sad for a long time, your brain just tries to keep being sad even when there isn't any reason to be. But if we keep reminding him that we love him just as much as he loves us, it'll start to stick in his brain better! We might also need to remind him to be careful and take care of himself, because that can be hard to remember when you're sad. And while he practices that, we can help take care of him, too!

im sooo happy with how he turned out !!! id love to sell them, but i would need to make sure i have enough interest since they cost quite a bit and take some time to get here - since its coming from china all the way to canada. as an example, it took abt 2 weeks to get here from order to delivery, and if i were shipping these to ppl, it would take even longer as i would need to send them from home, i cant send them directly from the manufacturer to whoever ordered one

One of the probable reasons as to why Kaeya didn't arrive on time for Crepus and Diluc when they were attacked was because he, and the knights with him, had no vision, and thus, cannot use a teleport waypoint.

Him receiving his cryo vision when he was supposed to get scorched by Diluc was genuinely the biggest slap to the face given to him by Celestia. It arrived just in time to save HIM.

Even now, the vision only heals and shields him alone as a manifestation of his desire to keep living from that fight... but he can't use it to help others.

it felt unnatural. sitting here, beside giyuu, and nobody else. giyuu seemed equally uneasy, glancing around as if waiting for something—someone. the room was empty with only the two of them. usually, giyuu was one of the last hashira to arrive. so him being here now, despite the fact that there stood no one else was unnerving. sanemi fidgeted, his bandages itchy against his skin. they continued to wait.

a moment later, they were joined with a company of three. three children, really. but just as much, their leader. if sanemi and giyuu were the pillars, the ubuyashiki's were the foundation; the walls and the ceiling and the floors. where, without them, the corps wouldn't have existed.

yet the rooms were empty now, except for the lone figures of the surviving hashira. they bowed their heads as kiriya, kuina, and kanata entered. they were so young, so full of potential for a life that the corps had been built to give. to allow themselves to let go of the idea of such life in the hopes that they could gift it to someone else. at least now, they could rest easy. knowing their hopes had finally become concrete and real.

kiriya sat and his sisters followed suit. they were young yet held themselves with the knowledge and experience of people much older than them. sanemi and giyuu remained silent, giving room to speak.

the children spoke simultaneously, as if it had been rehearsed many times before. kiriya's voice trembled ever so slightly, tense under the realization that he must deliver the words. but he managed to continue, thanking giyuu, and sanemi, and all of the members of the corps from the beginning to the end. it was finally the end.

the final hashira meeting, forever. and only sanemi and giyuu were there to attend. their victory remained unspoken, instead shown through gratitude and shaky smiles, bowing. but then—the thank you should've been directed towards the ubuyashiki's. kiriya, kagaya, and every leader that tracked a thousand years back. because pillars weren't anything without something to hold up, and the ubuyashiki clan had done its best and done perfectly in doing everything they could for centuries.

now, at least, giyuu found it in himself to speak up. sanemi could agree with giyuu, could stand on the same ground because they had to let them know. show them that they had grown with the corps and they had the ubuyashiki's to thank.

and then—kiriya and kuina and kanata. all three of them. they were still children. with so much ahead of them.

they cried, softly, full of hiccups and stuttered words. sanemi and giyuu exchanged a smile—something bittersweet and theirs. the children would be alright. they would see to that, finally repaying everything the ubuyashiki's had done for them by doing their best to build a world where kiriya, and his sisters, and everyone to come, could live in the life they hoped would continue on forever.

it would just be them, for now. and the following years wouldn't be easy, despite everything. but, at least, they vowed to make the best of them. for everyone they had lost and for everyone who would follow.

the meeting ended, quietly, and the final hashira left. a few minutes later, the ubuyashiki children followed, leaving the room empty. the light filtered through the trees outside, projecting uneven ovals of golden warmth onto the tatami mats. at first glance, nothing stood inside the room. but, throughout the months and years and decades before, there was nostalgia and laughter and tears and blood tucked into the crevices of the walls, the floor and the doors. and then, finally, everybody before them for miles and miles huddled together. it was nice to relax, to allow themselves to rest. because they would be alright. everything would finally be alright.

Bandee and Starstruck 🎀💖

starting off my february starstruck dee ship-a-ganza with the big one. they do seem like... the obvious answer, huh...?

they have far and away the most development together and the strongest personal relationship, both in what i've posted, and in her story overall! would kill or die for each other in a heartbeat. i would be absolutely lying if i said i'd never thought about it, but i'm not 100% convinced my thoughts lead me to romance specifically...

they're already pretty insane about each other! starstruck in particular is madly in love with bandee in every way it's possible to be. loves him the way he loves kirby, i think (pretty sure he does not know this. might be shocked to learn it.)

however she's daft as bricks, so he'd have to initiate, and i can't really imagine anything in their relationship would change.... so he'd have to mostly want The Title or the Performance one way or another, and i'm not super sure he would!

You ever randomly get sad by realizing that the people on No Man’s Land are probably missing a lot of the human experience and how most of it is connected to earth?

They’re never going to know what rainstorms are like, or the smell that lingers in the grass after it’s over.

They’ll never know what it’s like to hear cicadas or frogs croaking near a lake at night.

Earth has so many colors, so many animals, and so much flora. Even though they have the geodomes, they’re merely a fraction of what the planet had to offer.

But they’ll never know.
