hey, are you guys still making Meridian? haven't heard from y'all in a while...

Wow sorry! I havent had phone/internet access in a while and just managed to get back in!

It's Blake, to explain what happened briefly- After 2020 multiple members of the team lost access to internet, computers, etc including myself. We were trying to continue despite challenges, but the project has been put on hold at the very least because... None of us can work on it. A couple of us have been talking about getting back into it, and there has been talk of at least getting Endscape done between me and one other person. But the missing team members cripple our ability to actually make the game, and the remaining of us have been handling mental health, physical health, and problems with housing and bills.

I personally have been working on a project of my own in the meantime, it's currently under the name Somniate and I talk about it sometimes on my personal blogs and various discords if you find them. I'm drawing, writing, and programming an entire game by myself based on dreams and innerworld locations. Progress is slow but thats kinda on purpose.I believe Alternate Solar System also has a couple projects and various things they are working on, and a few of the other Devs have been doing things too. If any of them want to reblog this to promote themselves, go for it!

Meridian still exists, its actually fully written and on draft two if memory serves and theres been some work done on assets and such, but the vital pieces to actually make it are missing and until we all are able to work on it again, we have to put it on hold for everyone's sake. I hope you all understand, and its been weighing on at least the few people ive talked to about it too.

My love of that game is currently revived in FULL FORCE, literally stayed up all night playing it - but I LOADED everyone with sugar pills and donuts, and whatever puts more onto the MP, so it was.. kinda really really OP, aside from Marvin because hes such a late addition :(

beat the big boss fights super easily lmao, which is VERY DIFFERENT than the first time I played snskshd...... Anti fight took me LIKE AN HOUR my first time, and Chase just KEPT DYING, and then I discovered that the special FUCKIN GRASS is your absolute best friend for Anti/Angus........
