SSR Idia Shroud - Platinum Jacket Vignette
"Happy 100th Anniversary"
[Land of Dawning â National Museum of Art]
Idia: Look at all these dynamic brushstrokes that can only truly be appreciated because they're from a real painting⌠Fheehee! This is the real thrill of seeing one live!
Idia: âAh! Th-Th-Th-This isâŚ! A PAINTING OF THE LORD OF THE UNDERWORLD ON HIS CHARIOT!!!
Idia: It hits so hardď˝ In order to rescue a captured comrade, the king himself rushes to the front lines⌠Ooooweeď˝ Doesn't that just get your heart pumpin'?
???: Indeed⌠However, is it appropriate for a dutiful commander to leave his base and head to the front lines?
Idia: Eeek!!! Silver-shi!? D-Don't just cut in when I'm talking to myself like that. This is why I can't deal with extrovertsâŚ
Silver: My apologies for startling you. I found your comment to be interesting, so I could not help but chime in.
Idia: E-Even if you think it's interesting, don't you think your impression of him was pretty shallow just from this one anecdote...?
Silver: Meaning?
Idia: I-If he was just a minister or something, he coulda just split after setting up the strategy, leaving it to his subordinates to execute everything.
Idia: But he still went to such a dangerous place to stir up morale, because that mission would be the linchpin of the whole battle. So, basicallyâŚ
Idia: That means his responsibility meter is through the roof!! Wheeew, he's a totally different breed than any naĂŻve and useless politician who just hoists their title around.
Silver: So you're saying that he himself went out there because it was a crucial situation. I would say that he does have an overwhelming sense of responsibility, indeed.
Silver: Hearing your opinion on the matter has allowed me to delve deeper into understanding this painting and its story. You are quite wise.
Idia: S-Sure, yeahď˝! You should follow my example and study up on things a little better, Silver-shi!
Silver: I will do just that. âŚHowever, it feels as though what you said about how other leaders may act had some weight behind it.
Silver: I had heard that you took up the title of Housewarden after being recommended by the previous Housewarden...
Silver: Was that because you had had previous experience as a leader, and were thus therefore chosen for the position?
Idia: Huh!? N-No, nuh-uh, wut are you even talking about? No way, no way⌠'Sides, I'm more of a solo player even in my online games, y'know?
Idia: I mean, sometimes I've taken the lead of a party when I absolutely had to for a raid, or somethingâŚ
Silver: As I expected, you do have experience in leadership.
Idia: It's not that big a deal⌠I mean, I got a reliable battle buddy who tanks and usually takes the lead.
Idia: Generally, I go for healing or DPS roles. Or more like, I just stack as many buffs as I can to increase firepower.
Idia: But it's not like our schedules always line up, so whenever he's not around, I take the lead⌠Because I have to!
Idia: It's usually the high-level players with great skills that take on the leader role. And in that case, I've basically maxed out all my stats in every position, soâŚ
Idia: And I can grasp what the scenarios call for, see? And I can also play the tank roles to take charge on the front lines, right???
Idia: "Thanks to you, I was able to clear this high-level quest! I'm so thankful to have joined this party!"
Idia: âŚTHEY SAY, ELECTING ME MVP OVER AND OVER AGAIN!
Idia: And I was just taking on the leader role because I had to. I'm just way too goodâŚ
Silver: So, those who fought alongside you showered you with gratitude. That just proves even further your leadership capabilities.
Idia: I-I wouldn't go that farâ âŚOr maybe, just a little bit further? H-Hee Fheeheeheehee!
Idia: But also, I don't want to deal with failing a quest because some loser was placed in charge, so.
Idia: So I guess next time I have to put together a party, if my friend isn't available, I'll just have to lead them all again!
Idia: Wheeew, it's hard being so awesomeď˝!
[Land of Dawning â National Museum of Art]
Silver: This is a painting of a lion, warthog, and a meerkat, I see. The three of them are singing a song and seem to get along well.
Idia: Ain't they waaay too upbeat, to be able to sing while walking like that? Like, this painting shows the lion crown prince that was forced to leave his own countryâŚ
Idia: It's showing him singing along with some friends he ended up making, while he tries to ignore that pain, right?
Idia: Lucky him, that they chose to glorify his hiatus from his royal duties like this. Tch!
Silver: I've heard that singing can raise one's spirits. Perhaps they all wanted to brighten their own moods.
Idia: Speaking of singing to take your mind off stuff, there was this one time when I was a kid when my little brother was too scared to go to the bathroom in the middle of the nightâŚ
Idia: So we would go there while singing the theme song of our favorite anime together.
Idia: Eh, anyway, whatever their reason for singing, having that moon in the background composition like that's super moving. Kinda like what you'd see in an MV.
Silver: Em-vee
Idia: Eh⌠Y-You don't know what a music video is? It's a video recording that goes along with music and lyricsâŚ
Silver: Ah, so you call those MVs. I understand.
Idia: I-If you feel like checking out some MVs sometime, I'd recommend the idol group "Precipice Moirai."
Idia: Premo's MVs are so awesome that you could watch them 100 times and never tire of themâŚ!
Silver: 100 times⌠That's quite a lot. Is that generally something you'd watch so often?
Idia: A true fan would absolutely! More like, it's way too insolent to think that you could truly appreciate their MV with only one watch!
Idia: The first watch is all about enjoying the song and video in its entirety. The next three times the focus is shifted to checking out each of the three members' dance moves and expressions one by one.
Idia: Next, there's the actual composition of the MV, and digging deep into the actual message of the video⌠At a minimum, it should be watched ten times.
Idia: On top of all that, Premo's super casual MVs can put even a film director to shame!
Idia: There's no way to fully comprehend their art with only a couple viewings. That's why it needs to be viewed hundreds of times.
Silver: I had no idea their work was that deep⌠It may prove useful in training me better in emotional expressions, and perhaps could even be incorporated into the academy's music courses.
Idia: N-No, I mean, you don't gotta go that far⌠But it's great that you know just how awesome they are.
Idia: Even between us Premo fans, there's always those who still don't understand their art at allâŚ
Idia: Every time a new MV comes out, there's always people saying stuff like, "She got the most screen time," or "She's definitely the manager's favorite," and the likeâŚ
Idia: But does that have anything to do with the quality of their work? It doesn't, right? They don't care about understanding the heart or essence of the songs.
Silver: I see⌠I feel as though I have learned a lot from you, Idia-senpai.
Silver: When we return to campus, I will look into, hm⌠Premo? Yes, Premo's music videos.
Idia: Eh, no way!? S-S-Seriously!? They have all their latest MVs on their official Magicam account!
Idia: P-PLEASE WATCH THEM! YOU WON'T REGRET IT!
[Land of Dawning â National Museum of Art]
Idia: Ooh, here's the Sea Witch floating in the darkness⌠She's got a nice, bewitching smile going, too.
Silver: This is a painting depicting the scene of when the Sea Witch drew up a contract.
Silver: If I recall, it was said that the contract was so unbreakable that even a powerful spear couldn't rip through it.
Idia: I mean, you'd think that just having a contract that doesn't tear apart or bleed ink in water is strong enough...
Silver: Perhaps the contents of the contract was dire enough she did not wish it broken.
Idia: Who cares about the contents, the material of the contract is way more interesting. How high of a defense stat did it even have to not get ripped up by a spear?
Idia: But I totally get it, everyone wants to make invincible things every so often.
Silver: I cannot say I understand, but⌠What sort of thing would you make, Idia-senpai?
Idia: Like a "game console power cord that can never be taken away," or something like that⌠A-Actually, I tried to make something like that when I was a kid.
Idia: Whenever I'd play video games all day and into night, my mother would end up hiding all my cords.
Idia: If all she did was hide them, I could just make myself a new one, but she'd hide the cord materials as well. Totally overboard!
Idia: So I had a thought. I had to do something so she couldn't hide it!
Silver: I can only imagine your mother was concerned for your health⌠Did you never consider quitting your games?
Idia: Why would I? Ahh, but I really did burn the midnight oil like a little worker bee back then.
Idia: Like, I'd put a motion sensor on it, so that the cord could automatically run away from whoever was holding it...
Idia: Or I'd make the cord transparent so it couldnât be found, or attach a homing function to it so it'd come back on its ownâŚ
Idia: And finally, after many failed attempts⌠I finally did itâŚ!
Idia: I MADE A TRANSPARENT POWER CORD THAT ONLY RECOGNIZES THE AUTHORIZED USER!!
Silver: I do not really comprehend what that is, but⌠It is amazing that you invented something with your own two hands.
Idia: Nope, not at all.
Idia: My family also has a real stubborn genius, and every time I came up with some tech, it'd quickly get shot down by some kind of countermeasure...
Idia: And it took me a few months of that game of cat and mouse before I realized I should just convert my game console to wireless.
Idia: Hmph⌠But the peace and quiet that came from switching to wireless didn't last long at all...
Idia: Soon after, the Final Boss appeared: a device capable of disabling all wireless tech within a 10-meter radius!
Idia: Well, all the experience I got developing the motion sensing and automatic functions helped when I was putting Ortho togetherâŚ
Idia: So I guess all that trial and error wasn't for nothing.
Silver: Even if you can picture your ideal outcome, it is rather difficult to actually put into action.
Silver: However, you have made real many of your thoughts. I can respect that.
Idia: Waiâ What're you trying to say all a sudden? Getting complimented to my face randomly like that is a little scary⌠W-Wait, is this all a plot to beguile me!?
Silver: A plot? ...Hm, I see it has gotten late. I have kept you for some time. My apologies.
Silver: I am grateful to have heard such wonderful stories from you. Well then, I shall be on my way.
Idia: Whew⌠I'm exhausted having to actually talk to people for the first time in a while⌠Ah, this isâŚ
Idia: It's the hero from that one myth. Look at his sparkling expression⌠He looks like he totally believes the future ahead of his is bright.
Idia: Life doesn't always go as swimmingly as you hope, though⌠Hope he doesn't get too excited that he gets carried away by the river of the underworld!

Undertale characters see S/O break a bone and then S/O basically just does a Far Cry healing animation and doesnât even care they got hurt.
Undertale Sans - He grabs your arm gently but firmly, with dark eye sockets. "b u d d y ? N e v e r d o t h a t a g a i n." He hated every second of it. What's wrong with you? Go to the hospital like a normal person, you're going to hurt yourself more.
Undertale Papyrus - He faints. First, the shock of seeing your leg on the wrong side triggered him, but you simply putting it back in place like it's nothing? That's too much man. He can take a lot of things, but this is a big no.
Undertale Toriel - .... She was about to heal you, that for sure stopped her dead in her tracks. She's speechless. And immediately turns into Goat Mom mode and starts lecturing you about how dangerous this is and how it could have hurt you even more. Now you sit down this instant and you let her heal you properly.
Undertale Asgore - He lived hundreds of years and still discovers new things. Though, that one is maybe a bit too much. The noise of the bone snapping back into place made him so uncomfortable he suddenly panics his way out of the house, pretending he needed to get groceries or something.
Undertale Undyne - She stares in awe for a few seconds. Then she explodes. "This was AWESOME. Do it AGAIN!!!" She's very excited about this. She's even ready to break your arm if you need it! Come on!
Undertale Alphys - The scientist in her leaves her body. Why even try? You clearly have no idea how to fix a bone. It's so dangerous and you just act like everything is alright now??? How??? You should be screaming in agony???
Undertale Frisk - Well they can do cool things too. Frisk immediately struggles to lick their elbow with all they have.
Undertale Chara - They roll their eyes at you. You think you're in a video game or something? They're not taking you to the hospital when you realize you're dying because of how painful this is. You did that to yourself.
Undertale Mettaton - He gasps, then runs to you with a camera. Can he break one of your bones so you can do it again and put it in his next movie? Please, please, please, pretty please....
Undertale Gaster - He hisses at you, all his goop puffing like an angry cat. This is the worst sound he has ever heard, please never do that again or he's going to blip into another dimension again!
Undertale Grillby - He stays neutral, but his fire body suddenly burns for real, which means you triggered him. And now the bar is on fire, and Sans is on fire, and all the customers are running in circles screaming for their lives. What have you done?
Undertale Muffet - No big deal, it happens all the time with her eight arms too. She doesn't even notice when one is broken with time, as she has seven other functioning ones. You're not special, who cares.
Undertale Burgerpants - Oh look at that. He's dating another weird person. Welp, that's official. He has a type apparently. He wishes he didn't have one. Why can't he date normal people who do things like normal people should?
Undertale Flowey - Did you just pull out the friendliness pellet he threw inside your arm with your teeth? "You can't do that! That's illegal! I just broke that bone, you can't fix it like it's nothing! Cheater!" He's so mad! Stop breaking his fun. He wants to kill you!
Undertale Gerson - He wiggles his eyebrows at you. You know his back is hurting as well, right? You know. A little trick like that could help like hell. Come on. Don't be shy.

So. . . Basically I am loving the idea of the new Halloween event! I do have a couple of hangups, but it's nothing that breaks the game.
First off the premise!
Another book-based event! Much like with Stitch in the beach episode, it looks like Jack Skellington, Sally, and Zero are all going to be characters that our chosen cast interacts with!
While this will be a lot of fun, I am a bit sad that this means we likely won't get officially "twisted" versions of these characters (barring Skully but we'll get to him). Also the book-based event means that, likely, whatever happens can be considered semi-canon at best because everyone will just end up with amnesia and forget the whole thing happened in the end which is a little less fun.
Next up!
"Skully J. Graves"
Not much to say at this point. Love him. Love his design. Gojo is reincarnated and I'm not complaining. I can't wait to see how he interacts with the casts of NRC and Nightmare Before Christmas. How will he fit into the story?
Being Twisted from the Pumpkin King himself (confirmed by Yana Taboso!) I wonder exactly how he'll be as an antagonist to our boys, if at all.
And of course the new cards!
~Fabulous~
~Chef's Kiss~
~Mmmwwwwaa!~
I was hoping for a different group of SSRs, but I won't harp on that too much. The guys look great! We've gotten 2 Jamil cards in a row now with his hair down and I think he looks great! Sebek is so dapper in that hat, and he was one of the characters I hoped would get a gold card for this Halloween. ~And LEONA. WOW. Man, he looks awesome in an eyepatch. Like, I know he doesn't need it, but that is actually the PEAK of his character design.
IT ONLY TOOK 5 YEARS FOR SAVANACLAW TO GET A HALLOWEEN SSR!
I was honestly hoping that Jack Howl would get it because he's so neglected (HIS LAST EVENT CARD WITH A GROOVY ILLUSTRATIONS WAS PORT FEST!) and Ruggie and Leona generally get more attention than him, but Leona is fine for now I guess (Stop stealing Jack's cards!). The card looks great and Jack can always have one next time. He isn't in this event which is a pity, but at least that means next time is open for him! (We're running out of characters to rotate into the SSR slots. . .kind of frustrating actually.)
As for the rest of the cards: They look great too! Honestly, I'm happiest to see Vil, Azul, and Malleus get the R cards they so deserve (mostly Vil because he should have had one last year!). The one thing I agree with in terms of negative aspects is that Idia does seem a little lack-luster for an SR card. I think we're just very used to his Phantom Bride attire and this is kind of a downcycle of that look so I don't blame people for being underwhelmed honestly.
Also, Trey is out of R-Card Hell! Good for him. :)
Final thoughts and hopes for the event?
I think it's funny that they need to specify it as Tim Burton's Nightmare Before Christmas.
I think that each of the SSRs will get a featured character to have alongside their chibi battle sprite. Much like Stitch is with Lilia and Floyd. (A leaked image has Sebek with Zero, so I think the safe bet is that Leona will have Jack and Jamil will have Sally.
All of the overblotters are in this event, which is the first time I thinj this has happenes on Halloween so you can tell this one is going to be special!
And that's just about it from me as far as first impressions go! One last thing before I go though!
I have this cockamamie idea in my head that since this one is such a big deal--given the featured film theme--I really, REALLY, would like the idea of this being the next Halloween event to get a 2-part release. Like how the first 2 years were Halloween 1/2, I think ALL THE BOYS should get the chance to dress up fancy and hang out in Halloweentown! It's a pipe dream, and highly unlikely, but there is another character we didn't see in the teaser that could easily be twisted for a new bishie in a second part to this story!
(EDIT! I HAD TO RECAST THE POLL TO MAKE IT GO FOR LONGER THAN A DAY!)
#the obvious name joke with Jack was right there guys#and they decided to sweep it away#justice for jack#twisted wonderland#twst#twst hot takes#twst leona#twst sebek#twst jamil#twst skully#skully j graves#skully#the nightmare before christmas#halloween#twst halloween#halloween event#jack skellington#twisted jack skellington#watch them put the boogie man in here as a surprise like gantu was#ruins my idea for next years halloween#but any interaction between oogie boogie and Jamil will be priceless!

Summer Nights Like This
Julien Baker x Fem!Reader
no warnings, just pure summery Julien Baker fluff :)
The sun slowly descended across the horizon, the birds chirped happily, and the breeze blew cooly across your face, carrying the smell of freshly mown grass and citronella. It was the perfect summer evening. You were perched on the back porch bed swing in your Nashville home that you shared with your partner Julien. You were reading your book in utter bliss when the sound of the sliding glass door opening and closing redirected your attention from the fantasy in your hands to the woman approaching you.Â
âHey punk, howâs your book?â Julien asked, cozying up on the bed swing next to you. Sticking your finger in the book to not lose your place and reply,
âSo far, so good. Iâve made quite the dent in it today.â
âThatâs awesome.â she smiles, but her eyes tell a different story.Â
âWhat have you been up to? I havenât seen you much today.â you ask. JB sighs, slumping her shoulders forward. That was your cue. You find your bookmark, stick it between the pages, and tuck it next to you, giving her your undivided attention. JB sees your shift in awareness and pulls your dangling legs from the edge of the bed swing and into her lap, getting extra comfortable. Once sheâs situated, she begins,
âI have this vision, but I just canât seem to recreate it. I can hear it so clearly in my head, but I just canât find a way to put it into reality. Iâve spent all day mixing different instruments and chords together, and I just cannot get it right for the life of me. Itâs been absolutely exhausting and frustrating.â
âIâm sorry, love. I canât imagine how frustrating that must be. How about you call it a day and spend the rest of the evening out here with me? We can put on some music, make dinner, and sit out here and enjoy this beautiful summer evening. How does that sound?â you suggest.Â
âReally? Princess, that would be amazing.â JB smiles, you can see her body relax, and she gives you that big âole cheesy grin.
âOf course! Ok, hereâs the game plan. Youâll connect to the Bluetooth speakers out here and play whatever you want and just relax, and Iâll get to work making dinner inside. Oh! Do you have any requests for dinner? We have a lot of stuff because we went grocery shopping yesterday, so I can whip up whatever you want.âÂ
âI could really go for some pesto pasta.â she sheepishly responds.
âComing right up!â you grin, popping up from your spot on the swing. Before you can get far, Jay grabs your wrist and pulls you down for a kiss. Itâs sweet, tender, and warm, just like her. You blush deeply and scurry off to get dinner started.Â
*****
Entranced in preparing the pasta and the song's melody playing throughout the house speaker system, you donât register the sliding glass door opening and closing or the soft thump of Blundstone boots across the hardwood floor. You only register that another person has entered the kitchen when a pair of sun-warmed tattooed arms wrap around your waist.
âWhat are you doing in here? Youâre supposed to be outside relaxing.â you chastise sweetly.
âI got lonely. I missed my girl.â Julien smiles, resting the side of her cheek on your back, effectively smooshing herself into you.
âWell, dinner is almost ready. I just need to plate this after mixing the pesto and tomatoes into the pasta. If you miss me that much, you can sit at the island and watch, but I canât finish dinner if youâre wrapped around my waist, baby.âÂ
âFine, but we're eating dinner on the bed swing so you can sit in my lap.âÂ
âDeal.â you agree. She unravels her arms from around your waist and gently kisses behind your ear before making her way to a barstool.Â
After plating the pasta and pouring drinks, you and JB return back outside, plopping down onto the bed swing, plates of pasta in hand. JB sits her plate down to the side and makes grabby hands in your direction. You know immediately what she wants, and you shake your head with a goofy grin and scootch your way into her lap.Â
Taking in the countryside before you, the sun had finally set, and what was left was an orangy hue spreading a precious glow just above the rolling planes of land. Absolutely breathtaking.
âIâm so glad this is our home.â you sigh out in gratitude, leaning into Julienâs sternum.
âI mean, yeah, but this house isnât really my home, though,âÂ
Furrowing your brows in confusion, she shakes her head and continues,
âYouâre my home. I could be anywhere in this world, and the minute youâre there with me, in my arms, Iâm home.âÂ
âJB, that is the cheesiest, sweetest thing youâve ever said. Youâre such a sap.â you smile, tears slowly welling in your eyes.
âItâs true. No house could ever replace the feeling of comfort you bring me.âÂ
âJay, Stop it. Iâm gonna cry, and I havenât eaten my food yet.âÂ
âIâm sorry, doll, Iâm sorry. Letâs eat this delicious food my little chef has so kindly cooked up.âÂ
Dinner consisted of little talking, many satisfied groans of appreciation for a good meal, and a couple of stolen kisses. By the time youâd finished eating, the sun had been replaced by the moon, the chirping birds were replaced with chirping crickets, and a smattering of stars had appeared across the midnight-black sky.Â
âThat was delicious, baby, thank you.âÂ
âOf course. Iâm always happy to take care of you when youâve had a rough day.â you smile, snuggling into her side.Â
A particularly chilly breeze rolled over the two of you. JB grabbed the tattered quilt that lay over the back of the swing and covered the two of you up.Â
âI could stay out here forever.â You sighed, nuzzling your nose into Julienâs neck. Wrapping an arm around your back and pulling you closer to her side, she smiled down at your sleepy face.
âMe too, doll, me too.âÂ

HEWWO I HEARD REQUESTIES R OPEN The chain trying to impress their crush please <3
- bestie anon
Masterlist
The operative word is trying. And by god, I'm running with it! I'll make you proud Bestie!
Part one will include Legend, Twilight and Warrior!
Content under the cut!
Legend
Legend didnât get what the big deal was. So what is the Captain and the Rancher were wrestling? So what if they were shirtless?Â
He scoffed and rolled his eyes. He can see the way you eyed them, watching intently as they tried to overtake one another. You were chewing on your lips, fully engaged in the scene.
Legend glared at the other two boys who were none the wiser to your attention. Or maybe they were aware of your attention and were doing this to piss him off on purpose. The thought made Legend growl.
He shakes himself off and makes his way over to the main circle where the rest of the group was. Time at least looked as disinterested as Legend felt, but something told Legend that was just to dissuade the other boys from challenging him to a duel in the dirt.
Legend brings himself to stands next to you and stretches. He put his arms over his head and behind him, trying to get your attention while heâs at it. When he goes as far as he body would allow him, he rolls up his sleeves to his elbow and crosses his arms.Â
âWho do you think will win, Vet?â You ask him. Oh, so you do know heâs here. And yet you didnât look at him once.
Legend tries to keep the grit out of his voice. After all, his annoyance isnât directed at you. He wouldnât allow it. âRancher, most likely.â
Legend looks at the scene and realizes that despite going up against the strongest of them, Warrior is putting up a decent fight. Twilight almost has him the edge of the circle though while Warrior keeps trying to take Twilight off of his feet.
Legend hums and leans toward you, whispering so the other boys donât hear him.. âThe issue is...since Warrior is trying to flip Twilight instead of pushing forward, thereâs a chance he might be able to pull off a win.â
âReally?â You blink and finally turn to him instead. âHow do you know?â
âTwilight is top heavy but heâs putting a lot of emphasis on where his foot placement is. Warrior likewise is trying to use his upper strength to move Twilight aside and throw him around. Because they have opposite forces going up against each other, itâs hard for there to be a clear winner. But if Warrior can throw off Twilightâs footing, heâd be able to flip him and throw him on his back like heâs been trying to do.â Legend points to where Warrior would need to step to do it and shrugs in the end.
âI donât think heâll figure that out though.â
âThatâs really smart, Link.â You say quietly.
The use of his real name shocks him and he turns to you with a slight unintentional blush on his face. Youâre staring at him with quiet awe and itâs the softest look Legend thinks youâve ever directed in his direction.
Legend gulps and smiles with another shrug. âItâs just strategy. Nothing to impressive.â
You shake your head. âItâs really cool that you-â
Wind, Sky and Hyrule yell in shock. Twilight changes game plan and instead pulls Warrior back and flips them both landing steadily and dropping Warrior in the process. Unexpecting it, Warrior falls onto his back, allowing enough tie for Twilight to drop as well and pin him, wining the duel.
You cry out in delight and clap. âThat was awesome!â
Legend looks away and brushes down his sleeves. So much for that five seconds of glory.
âAlright! Youâre next Legend!â Twilight calls out playfully.
Legend can feel the way he pales all the way down to his chest. âOhhhh no! Nice try Rancher but Iâm not crazy enough-â
âYouâre not even going to try, Legend?â You ask him and Legend clenches his jaw.
He canât impress you this way... itâs a losing battle. Thereâs no way.
You begin to throw his words back at his face. âDidnât you just say-?âÂ
âOk. Iâll do it.â Legend takes off his top layer without another thought. âMove over, Captain.â
Itâs a risk heâll have to take. Besides, now youâll be looking at him whether he wins or losing. So itâs not going to be too bad, right?
Twilight sends him a mischievous (sinister) grin.
Right?
Twilight
Was Twilight about to do something stupid? Maybe. Would it incredible if he could pull it off? Absolutely. Now if only you would look in his direction, then he would actually be able to do it.
He takes a breath and aims his arrow. He pulls back and letâs it fly the second he sees you turn to him. Naturally, it hits his target and as it begins to fall, it gathers more on the arrow, slowly pushing it up and up and up, until the arrow it filled with fruit.
He grins and dashes to catch it before it hits the ground and makes everything inedible.
Twilight makes it in the nick of time and catches it by the tail end. A small victory cry leaves his mouth as he brings it up to look at his new bounty.
âTwilight, that was incredible!â You cry out, running over to him with a wide eyed look, matched with a blinding smile on your face. âHow did you do that? Was that even intentional?â
Twilight grins, pride swelling up in his chest as he sees your reaction.
Perfect. This is just what he wanted. Twilight smothers down his smirk and twirls the arrow absentminded in his hand, handing the none sharp end towards you.Â
âIt was intentional.â Twilight admits, not able to smother the pride in his voice completely âBut I have to say that I wasnât sure if I would have been able to pull it off.â
You giggle with delight and pull off the end fruit, happily biting into it without a second thought. âMmm! Delicious!â
âAnd fresh.â Twilight adds, taking a bit of fruit for himself.
Only for a fruit to land on his head, splattering everywhere. He can feel it seep into his hair and pelt. The juice that didnât explode outwardly drips down his face and the back of his neck.
You seem to have gotten a bit of it as well, having been close to the splash some but you donât seem too concerned by it. Bits of fruit are stuck on your face and a little drop of juice hangs from your nose.
But you start laughing.
With your free hand, you wipe your nose and flick the bits of fruit that stick to you so that they disappear into the surrounding foliage. But you keep giggling.
Twilight can only sigh.
Of course this happens. Here and now. And right after he does something cool and gets you something by the end of it. Twilight canât even be mad. He lets his head hang forward in shame. The fruit flops off of his head and onto the ground with a defeated splat.
You laughs louder and coo in his direction. Twilight can feel your hands comb through his hair that heâs no doubt going to have in a bit unless he wants sticky (although shiny) hair.
âSorry Link.â You say with as much sincerity as you can muster.
âIâm glad my suffering amuses you.â He deadpans, only cause you to giggle louder. It borders onto a cackle as you help clean him up.
âIt could have been worse.â You say. âIt could have hit your groin.â
Twilight winces and curls instinctively. âDonât even joke about that.â
âIâm just saying.â You hum happily, munching on the fruit he had given you just moment before. âItâs not so bad. You just need to go wash up.â
âYay.â Twilight hands you the arrow. âHere.â
âWha- Why?â
âIt was for you anyway.â He admits, shaking his hair to get the remaining bits out. âIâll be back.â
You nod and take it from him silently, watching him as he goes. You look at the rest of the fruit and bite your lip. Maybe you should help him wash his pelt at least. After all, the fruit was tasty.
Warrior
There was very little part in Warriorâs mind that was telling him to fall back, to retreat, to make it back to safety and to regroup with everyone else.
The wound in his side was aching and threatening to push Warrior over the edge if he didnât take care of it soon. He was beginning to feel the blood seep through his chain mail and make it to the front of his outer tunic.
But then there was a little bit in his head that was also telling him to keep going, to keep fighting. If he could stay on his feet just a little bit longer then he was going to push till the end of the fight and win.
He sees you and surges forward with as much force as he can muster.
His sword raises over his head before he can stop himself and it slashes down at a monster that was coming up from behind.
You gasp, bordering a scream when you feel the body just whiff past you.
âI got you.â He says between labored breath. He nods toward you and grins as much as the pain will allow him.
âWarrior...â You grip your sword tighter and adjust it in your hands. âAre you ok?â
âIâm fine, Sweetheart.â Warrior winks. Now his pride wonât allow him to back down either. you have to see him win this. Because he can. He knows it.
He also adjusts his sword in his grip and keep a bit of his vision on you as he dashes off to the next monster that approaches. He slides in the ground, no doubt irritating his already open wound and slices the monster from under it.
He grits his teeth and pushes himself off of the ground.
The blood is definitely visible from the outside now. He knows heâs being reckless at this point. He needs medical help. Or a fairy. Maybe Hyrule is he still has some magic left in him.
That being said, Warrior could feel you look back at him every now and then. Heâs never been a fan of too much attention but yours? He can never get enough of it. It fuels him and he continues forward.
Warrior rushes the next monster and next after that and the next after that.
He sees another one come close to you and his heart lurches into his throat. He canât help but feel a surge of panic jolt through his body. You can see the threat this time but youâre too preoccupied with not having your head taken off by the monster in front of you to really do anything about it.
Warrior throws his sword.
It spins through the air and cleaves through the monsterâs head. It splits into two and falls to either side of the monster next to it.
The other monster sees it and backs up for a moment, startled by the sheer violence of the action. The pause gives you enough time to finish it off and you step away from the carnage.
You pick up Warriorâs sword and jog over to him.
Warrior retrieves it with a gulp and a nod. âThanks.â
âThat was the coolest thing I think Iâve ever see you do.â You blurt
Warrior can feel his pride swell. âAwesome.â
âYouâre an idiot though.â
âFair.â Warrior stumbles over as his injury takes over his consciousness. The pain no longer registers and falls to his knees.
âWarrior?â You fall with him, trying to hold him up by the tunic, not seeing how it rips further.
He gives a lazy salute before collapsing completely.
You scream. Â

Omg just binge read the five existing chapters of more the fool me and brooooo
Like I just sat my self down and didnât get up until I finished and Iâm so desperate for more!!!
The way you write the characters feels so authentic, even though their relationships develop fairly quick - it doesnât feel rushed and makes complete sense!
You write Miranda so well, Iâve always in my head saw her as almost adjacent to characters like Narcissa Malfoy, Regina from Ouat etc
They have a cold, detached air around them but theyâre fuelled by this addictive passion and commitment to their loved ones that theyâre practically clinical about, like theyâre not here to play and you get that across so well with Miranda.
I donât usually read x readers and if I do, I donât read OC ones but I enjoyed this thoroughly. I might be a little bias because I look a bit like Fraser - brown skin, long, black curls barring the fact that sheâs 5â9 and Iâm 5â4 at the best of times - but it comes down to how universal you write her.
The name Fraser doesnât feel like it carries too much connotations like a name like mf Amy or Charlotte which are wayyy to western for a non-white person to easily relate to and her personality is so relatable. And big plus sheâs not super annoying so
But your writing is amazing - the way you write intimacy without it being sexual is divine, how the characters look at each other fondly or appreciate the others mind or oh! oh! How you slip in Fraserâs knowledge about them to emphasise how well she knows them! Like how she knew it was Alcina because of her height when she was passed out or how sheâs aware that Miranda was coming to yell at her on the balcony! The way she holds Mirandaâs face and how Alcina plays piano to her, how Fraser easily makes Mira, Alcina, and soon Donna Iâm guessing feel less lonely.
I donât know, I just live for good sapphic yearning and pining and itâs so nice to see that thereâs still a plot - which omg I canât wait to see where that goes - and it isnât all easy. Fraser may feel some attachment to Alcina and Miranda but sheâs still willing to go behind their backs to search for her father - like trying to sneak into that storage room. She gets close with them but not without her own agenda. The tender, heady back and forth with Fraser and the Lords/Mira is so perfectly countered by the far more gritty landscape and setting, the depictions of the violent, grotesque nature of the corpses and flesh, of the worms and the far less idealistic village and itâs history. You stay true to the grit of RE8 and Iâm here for it, I hate when a wlw story or any queer story is all fluffy or all angsty like there needs to be balance and you got it.
Alcina has to hold herself back, she feels uncomfortable knowing about Mirandaâs closeness with Fraser or vice versa, Miranda letting Fraser into her vulnerable parts despite how perturbed she is and Fraser not being a dick head that has no common sense but still makes mistakes.
The pacing is great, you have pretty neat prose and I am so interested! Keep up the really awesome work!
- from a dedicate fan now <3
holy shit, iâm???
thank you so much for taking time out of your day to read about the little evil gay women in my phone. thank you even more for making such a detailed comment, really it means the world to meâand also shocks me???
the representation of fraser being a black/mixed black woman was incredibly important to me. the RE community in general has a lack of rep for women of color, likely due to the games themselves not having too many woc in general.
iâm so glad you like my miranda characterization! in this fic, i wanted to lean heavily into what itâs like to be a grieving mother. outside of the vengeful, scornful side of miranda we see inside of RE8. of course, her rage and schemes are still very present in more the fool, but i wanted the aspect of dealing with the grief of losing someone to take center stage.
i think the beauty of miranda/fraserâs dynamic is that fraser exists within mirandaâs grief, rather than trying to do away with it or fill the hole thatâs left in her heart. she knows she canât assuage her loneliness and she doesnât want to. she simply wants to be with her through it all, and i think thatâs the beautiful thing about them.
outside of the who-done-it nature of more the foolâs overarching story, i think itâs a story of what itâs like to go to the ends of the earth for a person, solely because you love them and would do anything to see you two reunited.
fun fact: fraserâs name means of the forest menâ and strawberry! the truth is, i got so attached to it when i was trying to come up with a name for her, but then realized it was a boyâs name. i thought itâd be funny for her lore to add in the fact that her father knew it was a boyâs name, but kept it anyway because he liked it so much. besides, i think we can all say it fits her better!
thereâs so much more i want to say, but tumblr has deleted this on me like 4 other times already, so iâll end it there. thank you again, and i look forward to giving you more to read soon!!

In the SMRPG remake, Geno is still around for the postgame fights. Here's a simple and awesome way they could explain that.
(I SO hope they do something even loosely resembling this. I have so many feelings, I made gifs about it.)
Up to this point, we know that there'll be post-game content where you get to fight bosses over again. And look, our blue guy, there he still is!
From this, it's safe to assume that in the remake, after Geno leaves to repair the Star Road, he turns right around and comes back.
Which is KIND OF A BIG DEAL. Because in the original game, it's heavily implied that for all practical purposes, he's certain this goodbye will be forever.
(đ)
For some time, I've had a little theory. I kind of desperately hope for some version of it to be part of the remake. Here it is:
Due to the events of SMRPG, âĄâŞ!? gets a merit promotion. Maybe, at the beginning of the story, he's not a full-blown Star Spirit (or whatever verbiage). But - as the one little star guardian valiant and capable enough to go down to the world to help save the entire Star Road - now he's become one!
And that comes with more freedom. Just imagine him crashing back down to Earth like "Yo GUESS WHAT PEOPLE, now I'm a STAR SPIRIT (or etc.) and I set my own schedule!" He can go back and see his friends! It's amazing!
And it fits exactly! With not a single caveat I can think of!
IN FACT, you might even say it's supported by a little discrepancy in some 27-year-old pixel art:
Remember the difference between Geno's first appearance and his last? He goes from this tiny lil twinkle guy... to a much bigger 5-pointed star. This is never explained....
((( Read on for my rationale, more gifs, and even more feelings )))
(the doll being bigger is not explained either, but humor me)
(and yes that IS him lighting things up like the Main Street Electrical Parade. I noticed that almost exactly a year ago and it rocketed this fandom back to the front of my So Cal Disney Kid brain so hard that I can't believe it took me so long to make this blog)
(only fitting that he would also usher in the remake reveal after an end like this. :'''D)
... But to me, it seems plausible that the little star's gotten stronger and grown! đ
In the remake trailer, because I'm the kind of dweeb who does this, I went frame by frame trying to spot any telling differences -
(^ the scene where he's possessing the doll - this could just be a homage to the little twinkle he looks like in the original. even if that's all, I love the devs for it)
(more five-pointy? maybe? rev, did you just superimpose all the frames where Geno looks most five-pointy just so you could not quite prove anything? ABSOLUTELY)
Make of that what you will; all I can say so far is that we only see him kind of blobby. But what I'm secretly hoping is, maybe that's on purpose, so they can make it clearer in the game for the purpose of some big reveal like this. đ
Anyway...
Wouldn't this be such a fitting and meaningful thing for Geno's character arc? I know one of the complaints among people who consider Geno overrated is that he doesn't really have an arc. Of course, his fans (myself included) either aren't bothered by that, or straight-up disagree, since he's central to the entire plot and goal of the game, and also literally the Mario universe equivalent of an angel, and maybe he was so reserved because he was trying so hard not to get attached even though we all know he totally did,
and also if he got an arc anywhere near Mallow's he'd be so compelling that he'd basically be the main character and they'd have to call it Super Geno RPG BUT ANYWAY,
I can't fully express, no matter how long I make this post, how much I hope they take a narrative route like this. It would be the actual best. My nerdy little heart would never be the same.

Honkai: Star Rail fans, Iâm here to yap. Major spoilers for 2.4.
So, Iâm the certified number 1 space china hater. I hate that place, I donât trust it, I didnât like its first story arc that much. But holy shit that ruled. That was awesome. Itâs obviously impossible to follow up Penacony and outdo it, and you can certainly nitpick some faults, but the war dance arc thus far was super enjoyable to play.
Letâs start with the fucking Yanqing character development holy shit?? Seeing the ways he matured and humbled himself was super fucking cool, and his dynamic with Yunli was peak comedy. His monologue about why he wields a sword was completely awesome, very well done by the VA. Hoyo making sure to let us know that both him and Yunli are literal child soldiers and we should be concerned about that was based. The conflict between him and Yunli was actually presented really well. (I havenât done the new march event yet so maybe Iâll come back and edit this if I remember) The didnât really push someone as correct or incorrect, they just showed us the situation and let us form opinions. Yanqing getting some character development was awesome and I love that for him.
The plot? It still had some of that trademark complexity but it was much easier to follow this time around. It felt like events naturally lead to one another and the characters reacted as they actually would instead of just reacting as necessary to move the plot. It gives you a shocking amount of player agency to succeed or fail and I really enjoyed the stakes that came with that. Iâm liking how dark some of it is, itâs not crazy but there are certainly some moments.
I love all the new characters, theyâve all managed to endear themselves to me very quickly. Even the characters I was meh on like Jiaoqiu and Lingsha managed to worm their way into my heart a little. Feixiao is a total badass and Moze really interests me. Yunli was really funny and I enjoyed her shenanigans. As much as some of the mechanics and designs of these new characters disappointed me I still found them compelling in the narrative.
And the fucking angst? Hello?? It was peak.
This might be a hot take but I think the shackling prison is my new favorite singular section of the game. I love Dan Heng, I find his lore and personality fascinating and was dying to see some more of it. His VA did a great job this entire patch, Dan Heng is very stoic so it was impressive how his VA managed to portray the general unease he felt being back in the Luofu. He was just normal enough to not have anyone make a big deal out of it but you could tell that something was just under the surface. Then you get to the shackling prison and it just⌠man. You get to the door and you hear his voice just break. For someone so stoic you hear him overwhelmed with emotions, and itâs so juicy. Wonderful way to set the tone, Hoyo. Then you get inside and wow itâs evil looking in there. The other chance you get to chat with Danny boy before shit hits the fan is just as good. They decided to give me personally a treat with his lines like, and Iâm paraphrasing here, âitâs just as cold as I remembered.â And telling the trailblazer they âshouldnât have to see this place.â Hoyo chose violence with that shit. Also, Fox Boyâ˘ď¸ literally got held hostage and (kinda) enslaved. Incredible.
The pacing of that section was awesome. Seeing Xueyi get destroyed and then rushing down with Hanya was a simple trick but goddamnit it worked. The way it managed to portray that rushed and dangerous feeling without going overboard on the monsters around you was impressive. It was so much fun to watch the mystery come together in a way that felt like both a climax and a cliffhanger somehow. The cinematic stuff was so well done, it was all so pretty. There were plenty of POV swaps but they felt natural and necessary to the plot. I was unenthusiastic about going back to space china but goddamnit Hoyo has done it again. Fuck.
It was just a really fun patch, 2.5 feels so far awayâŚ. :(

LMFAO that Diplomacy game seems like a mix of D&D and Monopoly. It is so fucking awesome and epic. Cant wait to see part 2. Big oof and capital F on the chat for Yae Miko. Makes me wonder how a game between the archons would go lmaoooo
Diplomacy is an actual game, though I tried adapting it a bit for the story. It's just been on my mind lately, and when the anonymous asker requested a game that destroyed friendships, it made perfect sense to me.
Yeah, poor Yae, and poor Childe before her. I think the moral of the story was "don't simp for the creator within earshot of the other players".
A game between Archons would be a completely different story than what I wrote. From the four that we've seen so far, Nahida would likely be the strongest player to start, what with her being the Archon of wisdom and having her history with 'All Schemes to Know'. Murata and the Tsarista would likely be strong contenders too. I would count Zhongli among them, but given his years of being idle (and the fact that the agreements are verbal only and with there being no way to cement deals), I'd consider him one of the weaker players alongside Venti.
Ei would probably play way too defensively until she gets bumped off the board, likely by Nahida. Venti could likely hide his own goals from the other players, but I can't see him pulling anything off against another player.
Focalors is likely frustrated and wouldn't want to play, either because she isn't playing the GM and judging orders or because someone just played her and she can't retaliate.

transcript from today's episode of The Basu & Godin Notebook about Nick's ability to self evaluate and honesty about his own play:
[Basu] Iâll say this about Nick Suzuki, he is one of the most accurate self evaluators Iâve ever covered. In terms of him knowing exactly how heâs playing. When heâs playing well heâll tell you about it. Heâs not afraid to do that. I remember last year in Minnesota, I got some 1:1 time with him and I was asking him about his offensive production which wasnât great at the time and actually took off right after that conversation. He pushed back hard on how he was playing, he was like I know that my numbers donât say it but Iâm playing well, Iâm playing really well.Â
âŚ
So when he comes out now when heâs in a position production wise to be like, see look, Iâm a point a game player. All you guys always wanted me to be a point a game player and I am. So, shove it. You know? He could do that, if he wanted to.Â
The fact that heâs not reinforces what Iâm saying that this guy has the pulse on his own game better than I think any player Iâve ever covered. Really, itâs one of his defining traits to me. Itâs that he not only identifies when heâs playing well or playing poorly, but heâs honest about it with himself and externally with us, and with the fanbase by extension. Itâs really one of his great qualities. I think itâs going to serve him well over his career and it has so far.
[Godin] I agree. Itâs a fine line when youâre captain though because letâs say the team struggles, but deep in your heart you know you personally youâre playing well, if youâre asked about your own individual play and you evaluate that youâre playing well but the team struggles, as a captain you have to choose your words carefully so that it doesnât sound as though youâre not paying attention to the big picture because things are going well for yourself. Because there are players that are like that basically, who say well other guys will deal with their own stuff and as far as Iâm concerned things are going well and I can only focus on what Iâm doing on the ice and what my line is doing, etc. But Nick is not like that. But when youâre a captain itâs always delicate and heâs been toeing that line very well.
[Basu] Well, itâs been his reality his entire time as captain. The entire time heâs been captain the team has not been doing well, so heâs able to say I feel pretty good about my game without making it all about me, and I donât have anything else to worry about. Itâs when heâs playing well, the entire second half of the last season the team was doing terribly and he was doing great, he wasnât out there pumping his chest and being like âIâm awesomeâ. He knows that itâs not good enough to win and thatâs ultimately the goal. Heâs always cognizant of that.
But thatâs what I mean, he has an honesty about his own self evaluation, thatâs a really good quality to have.Â
The fact that the teamâs not winning doesnât affect his own confidence too much. It affects his mood, his overall demeanor, and how he feels about the world and life in general. But if you ask him specifically, how do you think you, yourself, is playing he can still be honest about that and say I think Iâm playing pretty well, even in the constant context of the team not doing well.
#for my files!!!#media quotes#like so much to chew on here about nick characterization#ik some ppl might not like the super narrative way arpon can be#but it fits right in w my yaoi ways so i appreciate him#idc if he's not the best w hockey stats or smth.

HOLD IT!!!
SPOILERS FOR THE FNAF MOVIE UNDER THE CUT!!! PLEASE GO WATCH THE MOVIE IF YOU HAVEN'T AND WANT TO BEFORE READING!! This is your given warning!
Thoughts I'm scrambling together as fast as I can just off the top of my head. Im back from the cinemas, and I first off can't say anything other than wow.
~
That post I made earlier about waiting a week to talk about it? I lied I'm talking now I can't not talk about it I can't wait the brainrot is far too strong LMAO so heres my ramble.
⢠The movie actually didn't feel out of place or too mashed together with series and new content at all. Some choices were definitely confusing from a game and lore background knowledge standpoint, but in its own universe and continuity it didn't hinder the overall quality of the movie. Still an extremely enjoyable time that didn't leave me frustrated or unsatisfied! And s big mention also to the fact that I went to see it with 2 friends - one who knew the lore like me, and one who didn't. The latter loved it as much as the former and I, no problems in understanding either! Lots of questions on what we knew afterwards, but no complaints all around!
⢠I think it's really good that they blatantly established that the animatronics, as kids and not when they were controlled by Afton, were just that: kids. They liked pictures and play and never wanted to hurt their new friend Abby. Golden Freddy is definitely a seperate problem that I'll get into, but they were all so cute together it warmed my heart so much :']]
⢠Mike was played very well by his actor (except for that one scene with Vanessa and the dry delivered "What are you scared of?" line), and I did grow to enjoy his character in the end. Definitely took me a while to get there though. I don't think his emotional connection with Abby was established very well in the beginning, but I think it was still remedied enough to be satisfying after everything had happened.
⢠The Balloon Boy bit was hilarious. He absolutely is that goddamn creepy, and they somehow MADE HIM CREEPIER in the film! I'm glad that he didn't end up posing an actual threat and stamping over the terror of the main 5, but I was definitely considering it in the back of my mind.
⢠Wow. Golden Freddy was intense. All the way through. From the phenomenal work of the child actor who played him throughout most of the movie, to the TERRIFYING animatronic who made its mark without even being in the movie that long? Wow. I'm definitely still confused about where the movie was trying to take the plot point of Golden Freddy's existence since a lot was left out and not really explained, but again, overall didn't make understanding the movie much harder. Just leaves me curious as to why they went with what they did. That scene at the very very end of Golden Freddy closing the door on Afton convulsing in the back room? Chilling. That actor played the part perfectly.
⢠CAMEOS!!!! Claps and cheers for Cory and the very brief Employees cameo! My theatre erupted into screams so loud that when MatPat was on screen in the diner, I kid you not I have 0 idea what he even said. Gonna have to rewatch it and see for myself. My friend who had no idea who he was got jumpscared by the theatre crowd itself and it was very, very funny.
⢠THE SONG!!! THE song for the end credits!!!! I broke out into singing so fast man, literally the best feeling and a wonderful way to bring the movie home right back to those who had been waiting for it for so long.
⢠The animatronics were incredible. Just amazing. All practical effects, fully built they were for most of that, right? Regardless, they really took my breath away in that movie. From their movements to expressions to their funny "haha uhoh robot moment" scenes. So so awesome.
⢠Vanessa's whole deal was probably where I was left the most confused. My whole crowd audibly gasped when she outright said that William was her father. So, the problem that I came to was,,,, basically all of it. Vanessa was told, by Afton, to make sure that Mike never found out what was happening at the pizzeria and to kill him if he got to close. Why hire him there then? Because he wanted to kill him himself? In order to get him to take Abby there to kill her? But non of that would have been something he was going to make happen if not by chance like how it did! She had no problem with Abby being there and playing with the animatronics one moment, and then made Mike ensure she was never going back the next. And the whole "I wont be much use to you if I go with you" said by Vanessa. I was assuming it was a Vanny mind control type sitch, but literally nothing happened? They argued, she shot him, he strangled her, he stabbed her, basically end of confrontation between them. She didn't do anything to hurt Abby or Mike at all? And her somehow knowing about Mike believing his dreams could change the past. Her connection was to Afton, not really the kids, right? Someone please tell me how they interpreted that whole thing, I really couldn't nail it down. Again, weirdly didn't damage my experience much? I guess I'm just used to some things not being understandable within the fnaf lore, huh. Im also just not hugely invested in Vanny/Vanessa's deal in the games either, so maybe that's why lol.
⢠Abby handing Bonnie the heart, and then Bonnie showing it to the others was the single sweetest thing oh my god. So adorable.
⢠It's me on the mirror. Glitching in the training video to show Golden Freddy. Mwah chef's kiss. Don't really know how the Its Me bit ties into this version of the lore but I really don't mind. The callouts made me giggle.
⢠That whole scene with the men trashing the place and getting murdered was madness. The tension was so thick, I love the atmosphere and how they really nailed it where it mattered in that part of the movie. The girl(Max?) Getting literally chomped in half was so unexpected. Poor Max, I can't believe she got roped into it. Also the???? Auntie said nothing about the disappearance of any of them either??? What???? Im only just realising that???? Why was she at all those court discussions with the lawyer again????
⢠No Honk Freddy's Nose bit. How dare they.
I'm gonna be thinking about this a lot, but thats all the points I have to make right now! I'll definitely comb over all my thoughts again, maybe post about them some more, we'll see. Really good all round, can't wait to watch it again when I get my hands on a copy of it!!! Id love to hear everyone elses thoughts on it too, and the possibility of a sequel? Thank you for reading!!
#everyone loved my cosplay I went in! I went as Bonnie in a human outfit wig and cardboard made Bonnie ears and everyone was really lovely#me and the only other person in costume (young kid in a fully decked out freddy getup) complimented each other and that was so sweet too <3#FNAF#fnaf#five nights at freddy's#fnaf movie#fnaf movie spoilers#five nights at freddy's movie spoilers#we're tagging everything man I hope everyone who's going spoiler free has these blocked#sox speaks#if you also needed the disclaimer these are just my personal intial thoughts. if you dont like them all you gotta do is scroll on by bud :]

AAAAHHHHH!! CONSIDER MY SHIT FLIPPED!! THE BLACK BUTLER LIVES! What are your thoughts on the new art style?
BRO I'm with you, flipped like that pancake I managed to throw half out the panđŠ I still can't believe. best Monday every fr.
and ooo thanks for the question, I wanna hear your thoughts after thisđ I've already said a little bit about this in the tags of some other posts, as well as touched on it in my master post of the crew, but I suppose I may give a big final answer(for now, from this teaser).
judging the art alone, not the fact that we get a new anime or anything exciting like that, just the art alone... it's very pretty!
yea this is very pretty. the kid looks great, small and good, and his hair looks feathery and neat, so I approve. I think they nailed his general proportions, I think they'll do a great job at keeping them consistent during episodes! the image to the right does looks a tiny bit like a 3d asset, which is a bit jarring compared to the previous anime style, but I'm flexible towards this change. even if he looks like a video game cutscene character, I usually love cutscenes!!
but here's the drama I'm sure you're here for. yes, unfortunately, there are some wee things that I don't love as muchđ¤
the first thing, it really doesn't matter and I should shut up about it now... but YOU asked so ajdjfksksk why did they have to shrink sebs jaw cmon my favorite art of him ever was during the Greenwitch arc so don't tell me I'll NEVER be able to see that style of him animatedđŤ I just like prominent features man. I know he's meant to be pretty but but but....
ah okay. heres the main thing that I think most people may agree with.
these are two screenies of sebster from the teaser. honestly, as âluxuriousâ as his lashes are, I'm not a fan of the left image. the airbrush on his hair feels a tad overdone. I love the attention to detail, especially in the one on the right, it shows a lot of love! but there's just something about it that's a bit off for me.
and I think after 24 hours I've finally figured it out: it's the colors.
the realization started to hit me when I saw my favorite edit so far here by @ashxketchum. the colors have been edited to be much more saturated and warm. and I think this is exactly what is missing here.
I even tried my own hand at it, and yea personally, I think slapping a saturation, tint, and just a BIT of contrast on the whole thing can do numbers on it.
already I like it(no I'm not just praising my own work, it's not the best edit out there I did it in 30 secs). I think the reason for this is because the background is very rich in contrast and warm tones, so the characters(particularly sebastian who is all black) stand out when they are muddy and low contrast. I love stylistically when contrast is high, but that's just a personal thing, and I shouldn't hold a studio to those standards.
I tried it for the poster too though, which again I felt was a bit off. official art has never been the most top tear, and the poster is GOOD, the background is awesome and the two peeps looks amazing. but my problem with it was clear once I did another color edit.
(edit on the right)
again, I feel like everything was very muted in the left original, not to mention a tad monochromatic. I really think a kick of contrast and hue could do wonders.
BUT. I know that at the end of the day, it's not a big deal. I don't really care. would it make my day or whole year if they slapped a color filter on it, or continued to work on the color grading of the scenes? probably yea! but my opinion isn't obsolete, and most of all, I look forward to and respect the artists decisions.
so no I'm not "fixing" the artđ
đ.
and finally, I think this is awesome:
(I had forgotten but this gif is edited by @kilruas from this post)
GORGEOUS. could it turn some people off cause it's mostly cg? maybe. idc though. gorgeous. gimme some of that beverage.
sorry for the rant, hope it's what you wanted! I think that's everything... I like it 85%!

THE PARENT TRAP PROMPTS * Â assorted dialogue from the 1998 film
what's going on?
i have class and you don't.
i'll tell you what i'm gonna do.
what was your mother like?
i agree. it totally sucks.
we actually did it!
still biting those nails, i see.
oh, don't do this to me. i'm already seeing double.
any of your pictures ruined?
it's time to break up this little love fest.
you're young, beautiful, sexy...
i may never be alone with you again.
what do you expect? to live happily ever after?
what did you call me?
yes. to all of the above.
ooh, let me help you with that.
you know, sometime if we're ever really alone maybe we could talk about what happened between us.
i'm sorry, it's just i've missed you so much.
get the picture?
it ended so fast.
wow, suddenly you're so interested in math!
have you seen your father?
i would pay big money to see that woman climb a mountain.
who are you, robert de niro? yes, i am talking to you.
you probably don't remember me...
if that's the way you want it, then let the games begin.
this arrangement really sucks.
come here, we have to talk.
i think there's something on your head.
i love oreos. at home, i eat them with peanut butter.
okay, sorry. got a little nervous!
the man went completely ashen like i was the bloody ghost of christmas past.
can one of you get something cold for my head?
this is so scary.
i promise i'll make your lives miserable.
i think it's an awesome idea. inspired. brilliant, really.
i know. it seems like it's been forever.
okay, on the count of three, we'll show them to each other.
this is beyond coincidence. this is beyond imagination!
i know she was really beautiful.
most people find that totally disgusting.
totally, it's like a dream come true.
will you stop thinking about your stomach at a time like this?
i'm really thirsty.
i think you're kind of missing the point.
hey, you sounded just like me!
i learned it at camp.
it's me or them.
let's discuss this calmly. calmly and rationally.
this is so scary.
i've never been so happy in my entire life.
i have a brilliant beyond brilliant idea!
excuse me?
may your life be far less complicated than mine.
that's where i have to go.
what are you doing here?
we were so young. we both had tempers, we said stupid things so i packed.
i made the mistake of not coming after you once. i'm not going to do that again no matter how brave you are.
what has gotten into you?
you didn't come after me.
that's perfectly... perfect. have fun.
you can't get married!
i'm not so hungry anymore.
that really doesn't matter anymore.
i suppose you just expect me to go weak at the knees, and fall into your arms, and cry hysterically.
don't shut your eyes!
i'm going to take the lead.
we have a butler?
we decided to switch places.
honey, you never looked better.
this is where we're eating?
that girl is without a doubt the lowest most awful creature to ever walk the planet.
can i hug her?
how exactly are we paying for this?
i'm supposed to, aren't i?
start unzipping.
go on, just do it.
i'm crawling back into bed, and sleeping 'til lunch.
i'll make you a little deal.
i didn't even know you spoke french.
nobody. forget i mentioned it.
i've loved you your whole life.
that does not sound like a possibility, babe.
it'll totally ruin completely everything!
you wanna know the real difference between us?
how did you know that?
that would be correct.
you have no idea.
mine's a pathetic little thing.
i just hope that one day you could love me as me.
thank you, thank you very much!
don't look at me. i don't know a thing.
you're g ood, but you're just not good enough.
what are you rummaging in your trunk for this time?
don't you realize what's happening?
this is so freaky.
if i didn't know any better, i'd say it's almost like you were... forget it. it's impossible.
i hope you're not mad because i love you so much.
loser jumps into the lake after the game.
i changed a lot over the summer.
i've never seen you and i've dreamt of meeting you my whole life.

As Steam's sale is winding down (on July 11), I'm still staring longingly at Baldur's Gate 3 and Horizon: Forbidden West Complete Edition, (both at $47.99 đŹ I know they were originally, like $60 but ya girl here has never paid more than, like, $15 for a single game so that's sticker shock for me, lol) as well as Cyberpunk 2077 ($29.99), but I've got 4 games around $20 that I'm really tempted by:
Dead Space (Remastered version)
Death Stranding Director's Cut
Red Dead Redemption 2
Resident Evil Village Gold Edition
What's funny is how if somebody asked me if I like horror survival games, I'd be all, Oh no, I'm far too chicken for that! And then look at this list, lol. đ¤ˇââď¸ Maybe it's like what I've heard many times before: games give you a "safe" way to take a scary situation and learn to master it, to get through it. Obviously there's something I find interesting in this theme, right? I dunno.
Anyway! I'm torn the most between RDR2 (which I've heard is such a classic open world, I'm really looking forward to exploring around in it!) and RE Village (the Gold Edition because that has the Winters' Expansion pack where you get to play as Rose as well as can play Village from a third person perspective!). Have you played any of these games? Which, if any, would you recommend?
Dead Space was one of the first Let's Play's I remember seeing years ago and the remastered version seems cool.
I know the least about Death Stranding, other than it stars Norman Reedus and it just looks cool, lol.
I really don't neeeeeed to buy any of these right now, I know. I've got Dead Rising's 2, Off The Record, 3 and 4 to play. I'm finishing up Detroit: Become Human and I've got a bunch of other really awesome games in my backlog I could get to. Ooo, and I picked up Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt for $3.99, that seemed like a super good deal for a big game like that!
But, you know, it WAS just my birthday, so it would be socially acceptable to, you know, splurge on a game, right?
Pretty sure Vannak is here representing for my "financially responsible adult" side, lol!
Hope you're all doing well, friends! Much love to you all! đ¤đ

chapter twenty | back to camp
â
Camp covered in snow was a strange sight, but not an unwelcome one. Since the climate inside the border was controlled, it always had been pretty sunny and warm. This winter, snow fell lightly like icing flour through a sieve on a cake. The cabins in the far distance were decorated with tiny flickering lights, with no visible strings, so you guessed they were some kind of magic. If camp had done this before, you hadn't been around to witness it.
The woods lit with the same circular balls of light, giving the trees a warm but slightly eerie glow. Nico, however, seemed to think everything was amazing.
"Woah!" he said, clambering down the bus steps. "Is that a climbing wall?"
"Sure is," you nodded. "Pretty cool, huh?"
"You bet! Let's go now!" He grabbed your sleeve, and you hummed.
"Uhh, we should wait a bit. I think Chiron might want to talk to you..."
"Who? Oh, awesome! Is that real lava?"
You gently pulled your arm away from Nico's hand. "Go ask Percy. I'm sure he has the patience."
Percy's deadpan brought a sly smile to your face.
The Hunters headed off to the Artemis cabin, the reason behind having it finally making sense.
"Take care, sweethearts!" Apollo called after them. One of the girls turned and pretended to vomit. Apollo turned to Percy, still standing next to the bus. "Watch out for those prophecies, guys."
You pulled a face. "What's that supposed to mean?"
Instead of answering, Apollo hopped back in the bus, standing in the doorway. "Later, Thalia. And you...I can't remember your name." Your mouth dropped in slight offence. The guy gave you serious nightmares only to not remember your name at the end of them? "Be good!"
You all looked away as he drove off. Looking back, the bus was a red Maserati instead.
Nico sighed childishly next to Percy. They both looked as equally upset, Percy a little more downtrodden than sad.
"Who's Chiron?" Nico mumbled. "I don't have his figurine."
"He's a talking horse."
"He's the activities director," Percy corrected, giving you a look. You couldn't help snickering. "He's...well, you'll see."
"If those Hunter girls don't like him, that's good enough for me," Nico grumbled.
You turned and started walking, hands in your jacket pockets. "Those Hunter girls don't like anyone."
--
You set off walking up the hill. Halfway there, you caught Travis and Connor thinking they were being sneaky, attempting to pick the lock on the camp store door. You didn't shout for Travis, just wanting to see how far he would actually get into the store.
The last two winters since being introduced to camp, you had spent with your family at home or in Sydney. Compared to the summer, camp was relatively quiet. All you saw on your walk to the Big House was a couple of Ares kids having a snowball fight at the edge of the woods.
The Big House had been turned into the perfect lounging pad. It smelt of hot chocolate and was decorated with red and yellow lights which, upon closer inspection and a humoured "try not to touch them, child," from Chiron, you figured out were real fireballs.
Inside, he and Mr. D. were playing a card game in the parlour. Mr. D. as usual was pudgy, red-eyed, and drinking a can of Coke, dealing cards like his life depended on it. Chiron's brown beard was shaggier than in the summer. His curly hair had grown a little longer. He wore a fuzzy sweater with a hoofprint design on it, and he had a blanket on his lap that almost hid the wheelchair he sat in completely.
"Ah!" He smiled. Mr. D. rolled his eyes. "You're back. And this must be--"
"Nico di Angelo," Percy said. "He and his sister are half-bloods."
Chiron breathed a sigh of relief. "You succeeded, then."
You chuckled humourlessly. "Well..."
His smile melted away when you turned your eyes back to him. "What's wrong? Where is Annabeth?"
"Oh dear," said Mr. D. in a bored voice. "Not another one lost."
He talked as if this was a perfectly normal case as a sock going missing in the laundry. Surprisingly, it filled you with anger.
"What do you mean?" Thalia stepped forward, a harsh line between her brows. "Who else is lost?"
The door behind you flung open, and a cold bout of air hit you in the back. You all turned. You couldn't help the laugh that escaped you.
"What happened to you?" you smirked, looking him up and down.
Grover had a black eye and a mark on his cheek that looked unmistakably like a slap mark. Just imagining it forced you to hold in your giggles. You met Percy's eye above Nico's head, and his solemn expression twitched. He looked away quickly.
"The Hunters are all moved in," he grinned crazily.
"The Hunters, eh? I see we have much to talk about."
"Which one slapped you?" You asked, still grinning wickedly. You couldn't help it.
"The tall one, Zoe. Ah..." he sighed, smiling like a lovesick fool.
"Grover," Chiron frowned. "Perhaps you could take our young friend to the den and show him our orientation film."
"But...Oh, right. Yes, sir."
"Orientation film?" Nico asked, looking between the elders in the room. "Is it a G or PG? 'Cause Bianca's kinda strict."
"It's PG-13," Grover said.
"Cool!" Nico dove under Grover's arm holding open the door.
When it closed, and quiet took over again, Chiron turned to you. "Now, perhaps you three should sit down and tell us the whole story."
â
You hadnât ever taken much of a fancy to being under scrutiny. Nobody really did. But there was something about the way that Chiron blinked at you as Percy explained your poisoning and Annabethâs saving trick that had you uncomfortable in your seat.
âLook,â you said. âI know I shouldnât have wandered offââ
âYou young ones never listen,â Mr. D. sighed, dealing out some more cards.
You side-eyed him. âBut Nico and Bianca wouldnât be here otherwise. If I had left them with Thorn, theyâd have been either killed or taken to some army the guy talked about. I did us all a favour.â
âYou made us lose Annabeth,â Thalia sneered. âIf you had just waited for usââ
âLike I said!â You burst out, leaning forward in your seat to look at her on the other side of Percy. âIf we waited any longer the kids wouldnât be here! I mean, Bianca joined the Hunters, yes. But at least sheâs alive, right?â
Chiron nodded slowly, in thought. Percy was weirdly quiet. He had this odd, solemn look on his face, and you had a feeling it had to do with Annabeth.
âCome on, guys,â you leaned back, resting your elbow on the armrest and setting your head on your clenched hand. âAnnabethâs smart. She can survive. But until then, I say we go look for her. Why wait?â
âYes, we should start a search for her immediately,â Chiron agreed, looking to Mr. D.
âIâll go!â Thalia burst. âThe three of us will. Thatâs enough for a quest, isnt it?â
âCertainly not!â Your attention fell back to the old god in the corner. Your eyes narrowed. Instantly, Thalia and Percy began complaining, but Mr. D. simply held up his hand for them to fall quiet. He had this angry look in his eyes that said if they didnât quit arguing with him, something bad and godly was going to happen. âFrom what you have told me, we have broken even on this escapade. We haveâah, regrettably lost Annie Bellââ
âAnnabeth,â Percy bit sharply.
âYes, yes, and you have procured a small, annoying boy to replace her.â
âSheâs not an object!â You fumed.
âSo I see no point risking further half-bloods on a ridiculous rescue,â he raised his voice to cover yours. âThe possibility is very great that this Annie girl is dead.â
âAnnabeth may be alive,â Chiron said, but you could tell he was having trouble sounding upbeat. Heâd practically raised Annabeth, Percy had told you one day. âSheâs very bright. If...if our enemies have her, she will try to play for time. She may even pretend to cooperate.â
âThatâs right,â Thalia said. âLuke would want her to be alive.â
âIn which case,â Mr. D. said. âShe will likely have to be smart enough to escape on her own.â
Percy got up from the chair, running his hands through his hair. Something wasnât sitting right with you. He and Annabeth had been on the quest last year together. They were bound to be closer after that. But he was acting like Annabeth was more than a close friend, here. The stress on his face told you a tale.
Something twinged in you, and it wasnât worry.
âYouâre glad to lose another camper!â He exclaimed, waving his hand at Mr. D. briefly. âYouâd like it if we all disappeared!â
Mr. D. stifled a yawn, looking at him with bored eyes. âYou have a point?â
âYeah,â Percy ground. âJust because you were sent here as a punishment doesnât mean you have to be a lazy jerk! This is your civilisation too! Maybe you could try helping out a little!â
For a moment, everything turned still. Mr. Dâs expression changed from boredom to anger as quick as match could be lit. Just as he opened his mouth to say somethingâ
The door flung open again, hitting the wall. You and Thalia turned.
âSO COOOOOL!â Nico roared excitedly with a lot of hand movements. He held his hands out to Chiron. âYouâre a centaur!â
Chiron managed a tense smile. âYes, Mr. di Angelo. Though I prefer to stay in this wheelchair for, ah, first impressions.â
âYou didnât for me,â you lazily cast your gaze to him.
âThat wasââ
âWoah!â He yelled, âand youâre the wine guy!â
Mr. D. turned his head slowly. âThe wine guy?â He didnât sound impressed. He gave Nico a look of pure loathing.
âDionysus, right? Iâve got your figurine!â
âMy figurine?â
âYeah, in my game Mythomagic! And a holofoil card, too! And even though youâve only got like five hundred attack points and everyone totally thinks youâre a loser, I think your powers are sweet!â
âAh. ThatâsâŚgratifying.â
âPercy,â Chiron said quickly, while Mr. D. was caught on Nicoâs comment. âAll three of you go down to the cabins. Inform the campers we will be playing a game of Capture the Flagââ You groaned, and he smiled gently. âTomorrow evening.â
âBut we donât have enoughââ
âIt is a tradition,â Chiron said. âA friendly match whenever the Hunters visit.â
âFriendly?â You jabbed your thumb in Thaliaâs direction. She glowered. âHave you seen Thalia talk to them?â
âYeah, theyâre real friendly,â she looked like she was about to smash you with her shield.
Chiron jerked his head to Mr. D. who was caught up with Nico, still frowning as the kid explained his attack powers. âRun along, now.â He turned his eyes to you as yourself and Thalia stood. Your back popped as you stretched. âI believe Travis Stoll has been looking forward to your arrival. I suggest you drop by the Hermes cabin first. It would do all of our ears some good,â he smiled.
Percy was the first to burst out the door.
Thalia went next, and then you, rushing after your friend. You couldnât get his anger off your mind. Anyone would be able to even feel the waves rolling off of Percy. He was livid inside, you could tell.
âDonât listen to the old bag,â you ran up to him. âWho really gives aââ
âWhy does he act like a life is disposable?â Percy fumed. âAnnabeth is a person. Sheâs our friend. Sheâs not something that can be thrown out likeââ
âAlright, dude.â You set your hand on his shoulder. It was hot under your own colder one. âGetting angry over things isnât going to help. We need to use our brains and figure this out.â
The three of you slowed to a stop outside the armoury. Thalia joined your side. Percy sighed, looking out over camp.
âSorry. I just couldnât help it. Itâs so unfair.â
The pine tree guarding camp was covered in snow, and the Golden Fleece glittered settled on its lowest branch. Your hand came up to your camp necklace, two painted beads on it now. One for Percyâs appearance, and the other for the quest they went on last year to get the fleece.
âPercy, lots of things are unfair. Sometimes I wishâŚâ Thalia trailed. You looked at her, but she didnât look at either yourself or Percy. She seemed in lost in a trance, some kind of memory.
âLetâs not get mopey, guys,â you settled on, trying to lighten things up. âWeâll find Annabeth. A hundred percent. Things always work out, donât they? Sheâs my sister. Weâre not just going to leave her wherever she is.â You looked between he and Thalia.
âYouâre right,â Thalia agreed for once, shockingly. âWeâll find a way.â
The basketball court in the distance was raging. Some kids were arguing, a taller boy shoving a younger one.
âIâll go sort that out,â Thalia said. âYou guys circulate around the cabins and spread the news about Capture the Flag.â
âAlright. You should be team captain.â
You tried not to let your emotion show, but it almost always slipped on your face. Why Thalia? It felt a little childish, but why should Thalia be team captain when you were stood right here, holding the brains and the smarts strategising capabilities. Thalia had never faced camp games beforeâand simple as they could be, she didnât have experience with them. If anyone had the best bet at getting the team to win, it would be someone from the Athena cabin.
Why purposely pinpoint Thalia to be the head of something, when you were standing right next to her?
âNo, no. You two have been at camp longer than me. You should pick between yourselves.â
You couldnât help yourself. You waved a hand Thaliaâs way, looking at Percy.
âRight. WeâllâŚco-captain or something.â
CO-CAPTAIN?!
âSure, Percy. Whatever floats your boat, man.â
âWhat is that supposed to mean?â
âIt means,â you drawled. You stepped around them, heading off down the hill. âThat Iâm going to find Travis.â
âYouâre not coming with me?â Percy frowned thoughtfully. âMeet me after?â
You threw up a peace sign and turned back around, starting your hike to find your friend.
â
Travis could be found in the most random of places. Heâd told you once that maybe his love to wander was something inherited from his dad. The outdoors was a love of Travisâs.
Which was probably why, you thought, he looked bored now. Youâd both retreated to your empty cabin, laying on your bed with your back to the mattress and feet on the wall. It was a bit of squeeze to try and fit Travisâs taller figure out the way of the ladder, but with your sides pressed together and your elbows knocking, you managed.
âI thought you joined them, at first,â he said, unafraid to be loud in the empty space. You guessed your siblings were out there doing something, some class. âThe coat sort of sent me into shock.â
âWell,â you said, wriggling to try and get more comfortable. You hit Travis in the ribs and he knocked his bony ankle with yours. Boys were always skinny at this ageâalong with having great eyebrows and eyelashes. It wasnât fair. âI heard they have to swear off of boys for life and I thought nope.â
âThatâs good to know, Brains.â
You turned your head to look at Travis. He had his eyes pinned to the wall. You had one blue sock and one yellow one, while Travisâs were a plain black. The meaning of his words settled on you, and your heart jolted.
âIs it?â
He hummed. Since youâd been gone his voice had changed too, like Percyâs had. Except Travisâs was definitely deeper than the last summer. You missed his fifteenth birthday, unfortunately, but there was no negative emotion on his part. You had shipped over a kangaroo plushie for laughs, with one of those detachable hats with the corks on the edge, and a letter. He wrote back and said it was the best gift heâd ever had.
âYou canât get rid of me,â you muttered, trying to change the tension. âIâm here to stay, sorry to say.â
âOh man, I was starting to think Iâd finally gotten rid of you.â
âNo such luck, Iâm afraid,â you smiled.
âDamn,â you looked at him, eyes widening; he was already looking with a peaceful expression. âGuess Iâm stuck with you.â
You smiled. âGuess so.â
I didnât know where to end this, so have some Travis action. The interactions with Travis does add to the plot, donât worry guys. Itâs not completely random :D Percy x you is 100% this fic, itâs coming.

16 and 18 for the ask game? đ Long time lurker, I love your stories!! đ
aww, thank you! đ I appreciate you and every single reader, lurker, and hapless bystander who may have read my stories by mistake. ;)
16. Guilty pleasures that I don't share as much: Oh vore, how I love vore. I don't know if this is a guilty pleasure exactly, since I admit this freely and I don't feel guilt about it, but I am aware that not everyone with a belly kink will also be into vore, and that's totally ok! I prefer the fatal digestion variety, myself. It's so weird, that used to be the dominant flavor of vore found anywhere online (I'm talking back in the dialup days). I absolutely loved it, but in recent years something has shifted and now I'm seeing a preponderance of "oh noes, digestion is mean, safe vore only" and I'm just like đ Look, all my other belly fantasies are safe and sweet already; can't us freaks have space to be weird and terrifying once in a while, sheesh. So far, I have limited myself to writing one vore story each Halloween, because if I didn't I would probably write nothing else except tales of my endlessly respawning, creepy-cute little pred intent on devouring us all.
And I almost forgot to mention: pregnant bellies! đ So big and gorgeous and full of life. Again, something that I know not everybody is into and I don't write it as often as some other things, but for me it taps into some truly ancient attraction, like fertility cults and neolithic fetish art. In ancient times I would be the one carving big fully pregnant goddess figures into the wall for, uh... manifesting an abundant harvest, yeah that's it. :3 Anyway, I like domestic stories of preggo partners getting pampered and dealing with their body's rapid changes as best they can, that's always fun.
18. Favorite artists/writers in the community: I feel privileged to have read the works of these awesome people in the belly kink community: @lordansketil @sweetheart-cherie @ginger-and-mint @missstaypuft Just know that I have read many a kink story on Ao3 so I'm sorry if I'm missing anybody! Everyone writing belly kink fiction has already blessed the world with excellence but these authors in particular have a real way with words, worldbuilding, and historical drama / fantasy that keeps me coming back for more. đ§Ą
