The surviving ghost comment initially made Jenny's eyebrows furrow, until she pieced together that she had just called a ghost a surviving victim, which immediately caused her breath to catch in a gasp, eyes closing as an embarrassed laugh bubbled out of her. "Oh duh. So the little guy definitely did not make it out alive, clearly." She laughed again, pausing as she listened to the other's rambled ideas. Endeared, she jumped in as the idea of a never-ending pirate costume humored her. "-and he's not even a rogue, badass Pirates of the Caribbean pirate because he's still sad and gloomy over dying. Instead he's like the sad pirate equivalent of Jack Sparrow, quietly moping and brooding over his demise every Halloween!" Her fingers traced her mistake lightly, following the line-turned-scar down from it's start at her ghost's eye. "He's not cool enough to be cursed or be a second-film slasher, he was taken out in the first film. It's why he's so gloomy." She continued, finger drifting back up the scar as she thought it over. "The pirate idea might be too cool for him." Jenny wondered aloud, while also internally wondering if perhaps she was bringing the mood down with such a somber scenario. Why wouldn't she make her own creation cool enough for the cool idea she was given? She decided it's fate, she could deem it worthy enough of a silly little pirate costume idea, and yet.
But her worry wasn't as immense as it might have been, as she found herself more and more surprised by the conversation she was having with the artist, as her ramblings were reciprocated, her cut off notions given attention. That didn't happen often with strangers, so if she hesitated before answering, it wasn't intentional. "Cinephile." She thought about leaving it there for half a second before her mouth beat her to the punch. "Specifically, watching movies in theaters. Though there's nothing wrong with watching movies at home! That's fun too. But I don't know, there's something really magical about watching movies in the theaters. It's an experience. I have a membership." The sinkingly familiar feeling of embarrassment she always got at oversharing, though present, was nowhere near as prominent as she expected, especially since she had a feeling she was in likeminded company. "Are you? Or do you just know the word cinephile because you're super crazy smart as well as being crazy artistic?"
Speaking of the arts, Jenny's attention returned to her ghost as she thought over her answer. "Pottery's fun! Albeit, not really my thing." The scarred ghost spoke volumes. "Writing movies is closer, but I'm a bigger fan of assessing media than creating it. The performing arts is more my wheelhouse." Even though Jenny found enjoyment in her hobby, she shied away from being too specific, again feeling self-conscious at how much of herself she was revealing. To alleviate the feeling, she instead refocused on the relevant information she just learned about the other. "A bed and breakfast? Really? That's like, so cool! You run it on your own?" The thought sounded so very Adult with a capital 'a,' she was floored. Yet not enough to forget the other piece of information she skipped over that suddenly came to the forefront. "Wait. You only do this when you're stressed? Were you stressed today? Are you stressed now?" Any notion of being too invasive was ignored as her eyes assessed the other for any signs of stress she might have missed in all her flushed ramblings.

The artist's smile grew, exponentially so, when the other's imagination began to soar. A mix of the woman's enthusiasm to finding inspiration and the way her face had illuminated at her suggestion made the entire ordeal adorably special in Addie's eyes. "As a ghost, I don't think survivor is the word I would use" she jested, glossed lips curled up in a smirk "But I like how your brain works. Give him a whole backstory, maybe he did survive the slasher movie and got a pretty badass scar to prove it, only to be killed off at the very beginning of the second. Or, he survived the first movie only to become the slasher for the second installment, maybe it's a curse or whatever— and he finally gets killed off halfway through the third one where the real final girl finally breaks the curse, maybe it all happens over Halloween and he is constantly dressed as a pirate after getting the scar" she rambles back, enthusiastically so. A hint of rouge expanded through her neck as the brunette compliments her own creation, giving her a surprised look at the reference. "That's an obscure one, I like it. Are you really into sci-fi psychological horror, or just a cinephile in general?" she inquired, interest piqued.
Adelaide finished fiddling with her still fresh clay, giving her undivided attention to the other instead. "Well, are you liking it so far? Pottery, I mean. I know it can be polarizing— people don't like getting messy" she waved her messy hands as to prove a point, a chuckle escaping her. "I do pottery from time to time when I need to relive some stress, but I mostly stick to oil paint when it comes to making art. That and I own a little b&b" Addie confessed, readjusting herself on the seat. "And you? Do you do anything creative? I think you could write movies."
