#not nightmares just regular dreams

Apparently my brain has just decided it's done with everything and has decided it's time for a stay-at-home vacation. Like, it's there but it's not answering any work calls. And I think it's smoking pot but, like, without me which is a weird sensation.

Anyway, what all this means is after 7 days of shit sleep I appear to have gone past exhausted into something that, I imagine, is similar to the way one feels when high. I'm also feeling my personal brand of manic: bad typing (y'all, this post took me so much longer than it should have) and talking too fast, too loud, too much. And I keep feeling I'm opening my eyes too wide but I can't tell of that's actually true or not. And, I don't know of any other way to explain it, but I feel dizzy but without actually being dizzy.

Killer's nightmare

He has many, but the one he has most often is of coming out of stage 3 and finding he's killed his new family too alone again. Or maybe worse, that he'll never quite be without someone from his past.

Luckily, it is just a nightmare, and he has a different Nightmare he can see to help him calm down.

;-; I had a nightmare, but in the middle of it, it calmed down for a moment and K was hugging me and rubbing my back. He kept looking down at me with a very gentle expression, checking to see if I’m ok. And then it was a scary dream again but!! that middle part was so tender!!!! 😭😭 i missed him so bad last night, I suppose he felt it and wanted to rescue me from a bad dream, even if just for a second 🥺💛

finally had a 20-hour sleep. as god intended. i nightmared the entire time about being on a sinking ship and watching my loved ones drown on the lower decks while i for some fucking reason closed the gates and physically held them under, bc that's how my dreams are, but. i'm awake and in less physical agony now. 👍

I snoozed through all of my alarms today and I was late to work which hasn't happened in years!

All because I had weird dreams and false awakenings one after another for what seemed like hours!

Just let me go to bed and wake up eight hours later remembering nothing, like god intended!

Thinking about how when Color sneezes it's a big rainbow explosion, do you think a similar thing happens with Dream and Nightmare?

Like when Dream sneezes everyone in a 10 foot radius gets a little burst of glee and when Nightmare sneezes they get a little pang of fear? Neither of them know this happens though because Dream assumes people are laughing at how he sneezes and Nightmare assumes they're just not used to seeing him sneeze and it startled them

they called me that because the last boy i hooked up with like. it was so weird. we fucked once and i told him: yo i dont want anything serious or even a fling. i just want to maybe casually hook up here and there. and he was like: ok

"i dreamed we went to middle school together, we were from different classes and there was a running competition that i won and became popular even tho i hated it. i was on the mess hall and my ex was yelling at me that she wanted to break up and she hated me. then you saw that and felt sorry for me and asked me to date you in front of her, she got mad and slapped me so hard i fell. you took care of me in the infermary... 2 days later she asked to get back together but you tried to protect me and you fought until you almost died. i didnt see who won bc there was a school shooting and i died."

can you imAGINE getting this text message at 8am and not immediately hanging yourself. he was batshit insane. that bitch later stalked my reddit.

actually actively getting annoyed at myself bc i have SO many wips rn. bc i cannot sit and finish any single one. i used to be so good abt finishing one thing before doing the next but all ive been able to do are scribbles lately (a lot of which I cant even post yet augh. bc theyre too small to post outside of a doodle dump so I want to wait until I have a couple of them, or cant post bc they contain spoilers)

I want to make a nice fully rendered piece so bad but my brains not allowing it. and NOW i have the itch to redo my oc playlist portraits bc every time i open spotify and see them I Recoil.....help 😭

something ive never gotten is like. when someone draws some characters and specifies its their redesign of them, but theyre just... the characters in their personal art style. or its just one really small change. its perfectly ok to just say its your stylistic take on them instead of saying its a resdesign - because at that point its just easier to say its a stylistic thing.
