Initial drawings of that old man… I literally, I haven’t finished reading the book of bill yet!!! there is something so aughgh about lani and samheed's relationship in the unwanteds ok. because. though i am an alexheed shipper through and through, even in a nonromantic context the two of them are so trauma bonded for life. like both of them showed sides of themselves on warbler that they never have before, trapped in deaf darkness for what had to feel like forever. they developed a whole LANGUAGE just to reassure one another that they were still there. like cmon u can't tell me that even years after they're rescued there are still days when the only person in the world who could comfort one is the other because nobody else would understand. sam still lies awake at night sometimes when the darkness is too much; lani has to listen to music to fall asleep. no matter who they're with romantically, no one else will ever understand the depth of what that experience did to them and they are so ughghghg they make me insane
