Secrets and Danger
idol!Leeknowx fem!reader (ot8 mentioned)
Masterlist
Part 4 - PART5 (not proof read!)- Part 6
Synopsis: It's been a while since the Stray kids concert and you were continuing with you university. You and stray kids got really close, expacially you and Minho, you two even meet up every now and then, doing things together. Also today was a normal university day till someone came to visit you...
!warnings: non, fluff (lmk if i missed anything)
"Hey Y/nnieeeeee!! Heyyy do you want to go eat Lunch together?" Mila trumped out, while you packed your things together, to go out for Lunch "Of course Mil! Just let me quickly pack my things."
You finished packing and walked out of the Classroom, straight to the Cafeteria, together with Mila. When you walked outside on the university ground, you both saw a giant student circle, everyone being really hyped up about something.
You looked at Mila, she shrugging her shoulders, so you went to see what everyone was so focused at and when you saw what the thing- no, better- who the person was, they all gone crazy for, your jaw hit the floor. "What in the world is HE doing here" you thought to yourself and when he spotted you in the crowd, a big smile formed on his face "Y/nnnnn, I finally found you!"
You wanted to just bury yourself, when he ran over to you and stopped infront of you, taking your hands in his. You feel it. All the eyes were one you. You just wanted to disappear and never come back, so you grabbed his wrist and pulled him out fo the crowed, behind the uni building.
"Are you crazy??? What in the world are you doing here Minho!" you quietly scream at him. "I wanted to suprise you..I thought you'd be happy if I come around some time to suprise you, what are you so mad for?? Aren't you the one who's sad so often because we barely are able to meet since I'm so busy? Why are you mad now that I visit you???" "It's not that you can't visit me, in fact, I love that you're thinking about what I say and try to still spend time with me, but you can't visit me here! Everyone here at this school knows you and those who didn't, least know you now! Do you even know what rumors can spread?? They could think I'm your girlfriend or something and-" "And what's so bad about that?" he interrupts you, "What?" "What's so bad about the fact, that they could think you're my girlfriend? I wouldn't mind it." he says with a serious expression, "Minho what do you-"
"Y/NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN????! OH Y/N, THERE YOU ARE!!" Mila runs over to you and you let out a tried sigh "Mila...I'm really not in the mood rightnow-" "Are you two together?!?!" Mila yells excited, while looking between you two. "Mil no we're not. I told you we're just friends. Right Min?" you look at him for reassurance but he didn't say anything "Min-" "I'm going." "Wha-" before you could say or do anything, he already walked off to his car, leaving you and Mila alone.
"Did I say something wrong..?" Mila whispered to you carefully. "No...no you didn't. Go eat Lunch, I'm not hungry anymore.." and with that you went back into the uni building and sat on your chair in the Classroom, wanting nothing more than to know what he meant and why he suddenly ran off.
The rest of the day was pulled long and slow like a gum, it was killing you, because you wanted nothing more than to go home and ask Minho what he meant, he hasn't been answering to any messages or calls and to top it all off, everyone has been staring at you the whole time, since the incident. You just wanted this day to end.
By the time you got home, you were so tired, it's a wonder you were able to walk home by yourself. You laid down on the couch, wanting to close your eyes for just two minutes, before going to stray kids's dorm to talk with Minho, but somehow you fell asleep...2 am, you fell down the couch and woke up. You mentally cursed at yourself, for falling asleep and when you looked at the clock, you decided to still go to the dorm and sleep over there, hoping you could talk to Minho, before he goes off to work. Luckly, Chan gifted you a second key, so you can enter anytime.
You changed you clothes, took a few things with you and made yourself off to the dorm. On the way, you scrolled on your phone, opening Instagram and the first thing you see left you in shock. "This can't be...This has to be some bad joke!!"

miku expo was legit the best day of my life so i wanna ramble about it
edit: found this in my drafts and wanted to revive it even if this took place like a month ago now lmao
first off i wanna kinda stress something that i honestly might get flamed for
i was in the pit, literally the third row, and around the halfway mark people who didn’t have wristbands on (that you get if you’re in the pit) finagled their way in and no security stopped them. this was like 5 people near me and like 3 more on the opposite side of the chairs. i could barely move cus i was so squished in by them and beforehand i was taking the opportunity to jump and dance becus i was in the aisle becus it was very spacious.
i personally see this as wrong. like i understand the feeling so much of not having good seats becus they are expensive. my bsf’s parents payed for these seats and that was the closest i’ve ever been/probably will ever be at a concert. i am eternally greatful for them. however, if i were at any other concert with my regular nosebleed seats, i would not move up to somewhere where the seats were obviously filled and payed for. people work hard to have the kind of money to spend on good tickets, and i felt like they were stripping away all of that just becus there was some open space and no one from security happen to be watching
i do feel kinda bad becus my friend was complaining a little too loud and vulgarly without a proper confrontation and i was saying things like “yeah” and “real” and i think they eventually kinda heard us but they didn’t do anything in response until i finally asked them nicely to at least step back so i could move around. most of them listened then but one person didn’t.
i want to acknowledge that i probably wasn’t perfect either in a different aspect becus i was legit screaming my head off and i realize now that behavior can definitely be distracting. i forgot that convention idol etiquette very much applies to even a virtual concert because there are others around me that might not appreciate my loudness who aren’t performing, along with the band members (although they prob couldn’t hear me from backstage).
wanted to address my thoughts on the screen too. honestly i still think it’s a weird call (and would make a lot of sense if it was by crunchyroll) and i still think it’s rather cheap but i can at least acknowledge that the visuals were pretty crisp. im assuming it also helped people see it from super far away better. it was definitely not an experience ruiner by any means but it was pretty jarring for the first 10 mins or so.
anyways, on to the good moments. at the end i shouted thank you to the band members when they came out and one of them saw me gave me the heart hands AND IT WAS SO FUCKING SWEET AHHH
i went into this only knowing about 5 songs for the set list and i’m so glad for that becus the suprises kept hitting me. some of the most hyped songs for me were unknown mother goose and fraulen biblioteca. i was so happy they played a wowaka song becus he deserves to be honored in multiple countries. and with fraulen i have a video recording of it where me and my bsf’s convo went like this:
“i can’t believe they did it”
“what?”
“I CANT BELIEVE THEY DID IT”
“ME TOO”
(for context we were debating which songs would get played on the way there and we wanted this one but thought it had a slim chance. also meiko is my fav soooo)
ALSO we didn’t know we got VIP till someone told us (thank you kind stranger). the tote bag is really nice and i’ve gotten a ton of use out of it. and i used the fan in place of a penlight the whole time- idk how it didn’t break. as for the other stuff it was just kinda meh to me.
lastly we got a shit ton of confetti from the cannon and passed some out to people and took a couple for ourselves too. i’m so glad they did that it was a nice touch and it looked so beautiful as it was falling tbh
i think that’s all i gotta say but i might make some fanart to commemorate it later (i just said this same thing in a post a couple days ago and i haven’t even started *that* drawing yet….oopsies).

Will You Marry Me? || M. YG
Pairing: Min Yoongi x OC
Genre: Idol!au, romance
Warnings: none
Word Count: ~2.5k
The sun was barely peeking out from the horizon, it was too early and yet here I was waking up. It was automatic no matter how many hours I slept I was bound to rise with the sun. I laid on the bed, stretching my tense muscles, waiting for my brain to turn on. Relaxing and sinking on the bed again, I carefully peeled the bed sheets beside me to reveal my boyfriend's face. He had the bed sheet's imprinted all over his puffy face. It all made him look even cuter than he usually is.
I debated if I should wake him or not, but knowing he was going to wake up soon I got closer to him brushing his hair away from his face and proceeding to kiss all over his face. Feeling the soft pecks his eyes slowly blinked in an attempt to get rid of the sleepiness.
"Merry Christmas Yoongi," I whispered halting my attack.
Yoongi took his time stretching, yawning, and scrunching his face before responding a soft, "Merry Christmas, Yun."
Laying on his back, he opened his arms, knowing I'd want to cuddle him before we had to get up. It was a habit we had to talk about how we were feeling that day and about our plans for the day. There wasn't much to do today it was Christmas after all, the only things allowed to do was be lazy and open presents.
Alluring me to stay in bed for longer Yoongi kissed my lips very well knowing he was my weakness. It felt like we spent hours whispering sweet nothings as if scared someone would hear when in reality, we were the only ones in the whole apartment. Yoongi's hands almost lulled me to sleep again as he caressed my hair.
"Remember, we're going over to Hobi's for the Christmas party," Yoongi told me in between kisses.
"Stop thinking about Hobi while I kiss you," I laughed, pulling away, "He's not the one marrying you."
"From what I recall, I'm not marrying you either," he quickly responded, eyes narrowing in question and lips forming its natural pout.
He had a point, but it's only because he hasn't asked! We've talked about marriage before and it's something we both want to do we just don't know when. I know I'm ready to take the next step we've been in this relationship for about five years, we live together, we're basically a married couple already and that's fine I'm happy with what we have. But I would love to marry him officially, have a ceremony, say our vows to each other, and most importantly, call him my husband, the love of my life.
Sitting up on the bed, I straddled him, holding his shoulders and getting close to his face and asked, "Min Yoongi, will you marry me?"
Yoongi's eyes widened for a second before going back to their natural shape, "No."
"Why do you keep saying no?" I whined, slumping down in his chest.
Yup, it wasn't the first time I had asked. In fact, it's been a month since I first asked, and he keeps saying no. Every time he'd say dumb excuses as to why he wouldn't marry me by now it was more like a joke to see what silly thing he'd come up with.
"I'm too young to get married," he explained with a whine while grabbing hold of my thighs and flipping us over.
"Yoongs you're 29," I said, rolling my eyes.
"Exactly, I'm a baby!" he exclaimed, burying his head on my neck.
"At what age will you consider saying yes?" I sighed, playing with the hair at the nape of his neck.
"35," he said, the sound coming out muffled.
"That's a long time by then we would have been dating for ten years," I grabbed his shoulders and pushed him back to look at his face.
"So?" Yoongi shrugged his shoulders.
"I'm gonna keep asking in between in case you change your mind."
After an hour of waking up I finally stood from the bed and went into the kitchen to get breakfast started. I turned on the coffee maker first and prepared our preferred cups to pour it in. Just as I placed Yoongi's cup on the counter, he emerged from the room with a new set of pajamas and damp hair.
"You should dry your hair don't want you getting sick," I mentioned over my shoulder while whisking together the ingredients to make pancake batter.
Cold hands landing on my hips made me jump, "Yoongs your hands are freezing."
"Sorry," he lightly chuckled behind me, "In that case you should put on a pair of pants too."
"You should know by now I'm a rebel I do what I want," I sassily said, turning to look at him.
Yoongi was looking at me with a blank face, "You forgot to do laundry, didn't you?"
"Yes," I admitted with a sheepish smile.
"Alright, let me get my coffee and I'll dry it," he sighed letting go of me.
I thought I was alone when I felt a harsh sting to my backside, "Ow Yoongi that hurt!"
"That's not what you said the other day," he yelled from the hallway.
"Yoongi!" I swear this man is so inappropriate sometimes.
After breakfast we stayed in the living room and exchanged our Christmas gifts. It was honestly a very relaxing morning between the two of us and I couldn't be happier. We watched old Christmas movies and drank hot chocolate to get even more into the Christmas spirit. Somewhere in the early afternoon we crashed and napped on the sofa while 'Home Alone' played in the background.
"Yun...Yun...Yun," I heard Yoongi's soothing voice calling me and shaking my arm.
"Five more minutes," I mumbled, hiding my face in one of the cushions.
"Come on, wake up we have to get ready for Hobi's party," he said, rubbing my arm soothingly.
"On one condition," I pouted, lifting my head.
"What's that?"
"Marry me?" I asked, a smile sneaking past my lips.
"Ugh, I can't, I already promised this girl in a fan meet," he groaned, pulling me by my arms so I'd sit up.
A girl can only try. I don't want to be that girl who keeps insisting her boyfriend to marry her, but like I love this man so much I want to make it official! If he would've told me in the beginning, he didn't believe in marriage, I would've prepared myself and accepted it. Sometimes it makes me question if he isn't sure about us, luckily, I know him well enough to know he loves me just as much as I love him. I mean marriage is a huge step, and between my job and his career as an idol it can get tough. I understand he wants to have a more stable life before taking this step and possibly starting a family.
Feeling well rested, I got ready for tonight's party. Yoongi has been telling me about this party for the past month apparently Hoseok wanted everyone there because he has a surprise for everyone, I think he's finally going to introduce us to his girlfriend.
With my make up done and my hair curled I put on my red dress I bought it solely for this occasion. Yoongi helped me pick it out in the store there were so many good choices and at the end, I was in between two dresses. I had no choice but to ask for his help. With one long glance at each he ended up picking with the red one, he made a good decision because I looked stunning in this color.
"Yoongi are you ready?" I yelled while slipping into my heels.
He was in the other room because he insists I kicked him out of ours and that is a lie. I simply told him to get out of the way because he was hogging the mirror and I needed to do my makeup. The mirror he was using has the best lighting.
"Yes," he muttered, stepping into the room. He stopped in his tracks taking in how I looked, "You look beautiful."
"Beautiful enough to marry me?" I jested, shooting him a flirty smile.
"More like too beautiful for me to marry you," he grinned, walking over and pecking my lips.
"Don't be acting cute," I pouted, melting at his words, "I love you."
"I love you too Yun," he murmured, kissing me again.
When he pulled away, he had red all over his lips. Giggling, I grabbed a makeup wipe from my makeup bag and brought it up to his lips to wipe off any lipstick.
"There we go perfect once again."
Thanking me he grabbed my hand and off we went to Hobi's house. He didn't even let go of it on the drive. I'd spontaneously squeeze his hand tightly to see if it bothered him, but due to my lack of strength, he barely felt it, in turn he squeezed mine making me wince.
"Ow, stop hurting me," I whined, tapping on his hand so he'd let go.
"I barely did anything besides you wanted to hurt me first," he argued yet his hand was still on mine and I didn't dare let go.
"No, I wasn't," I defended myself, "It was an experiment to test my strength."
"In that case you have the strength of a toddler," Yoongi deadpanned.
"I know," I huffed, there was no denying that fact.
Once parked in front of Hoseok's house Yoongi opened the door for me and together we went to the front door. Hoseok opened the door with a huge smile and ushered us in.
"Sooyun, it's been so long I missed you!" he cheerfully said, pulling me into a hug.
"Yesterday was so long ago, my sunshine, the sky was so glum without you," I laughed as he rocked us side to side.
"I'm so glad you're here I want to introduce you to someone," Hobi excitedly said, dragging me with me. Before he pulled me away, I grabbed Yoongi's hand, so he'd follow us.
I was right Hobi wanted us to meet his girlfriend, Soojin. She was really sweet and nice I could totally see why Hobi likes her. We talked for a long while getting to know each other from my peripheral I saw Hobi constantly looking over in our direction and smiling happily that we got along. It was cute how he wanted us all to get along.
The night was filled with drinks, food, and lively chatter. Not soon after Yoongi and I got there the rest of the boys started filing in with their significant others. Something I didn't know was that the boys did a secret Santa amongst themselves, so it was a real treat seeing them exchange gifts and sweet words.
It was 2 am when we left the party. Hoseok and Taehyung were still hyped up, I just know they were going to collapse soon.
"Did you have fun?" Yoongi asked, briefly looking in my direction. We were in the car on our way home, music playing on the speakers at a low volume.
"I did, I'm exhausted though. I can't keep up with Hobi," I chuckled lightly, shaking my head.
"Tell me about it," he agreed.
"I can't wait to get to bed," I told him, kissing the back of his hand.
"We're almost there," he gently squeezed my hand, "Can you get my phone from my jacket pocket?"
"Sure," I nodded, turning in my seat to get the jacket he threw to the back seat.
After grabbing it from the back, I straightened in the seat and searched through the many pockets of the jacket. In the last pocket where the phone was supposed to be I found a small black velvet box. Opening it there was a beautiful diamond ring staring back at me. It had everything I've ever wanted on a ring it was much like the ones I had saved on my Pinterest page.
"Yoongi..." I barely spoke above a whisper.
Why was this in his pocket? Did it mean what I thought it meant? Did I ruin a surprise?
"What?" He asked with a side smile.
"What is this?"
"A ring for you," he answered nonchalantly.
"For what?" I insisted, determined to find the answer I wanted.
"To marry me," Yoongi lovingly added.
"Don't joke with me Yoongi," I pleaded, hoping this wasn't some sick joke.
"I'm not, I'm serious," he insisted.
"Wh-what? Pull the car over," I ordered him, I needed for him to tell me this was real, eye to eye.
"Okay," Nodding, he pulled into a fast-food parking lot.
"This is serious? This isn't because I keep asking, right? If you don't want to marry me, that's fine and I'll understand. You don't have to feel forced to do this," I felt guilty a part of me couldn't help but think this was because I kept asking him. It started with me being serious, but it's more of a joke now. Of course, I want to marry him that much remains true, but not if he doesn't want to.
"Yun, I'm as serious as can be. I've been thinking about it for a while now," he admitted, taking his seatbelt off and turning in his seat, "I wanted to surprise you and I know that if I did anything overly romantic besides our dates, you'd be on to me," he finished explaining.
"Oh." My mind was processing everything that happened in the last 5 minutes. The thing that I wanted most was happening and I couldn't believe it. The love of my life asked me (kind of) to marry him and I said 'Oh.' Way to go Sooyun.
"So, what do you say? Will you marry me? Spend the rest of our lives together until we're old and gray?" he asked, a nervous look in his handsome face.
Tears streamed down my face and with a vigorous nod I accepted his proposal, "I will."
"Don't cry or I'll take it back," he jokingly threatened, taking the ring out of the box and slipping it on my ring finger.
"I love you," I sobbed despite his words.
"I love you too," he warmly replied, cupping my cheeks and kissing my waiting lips.
"Let's get home so I can kiss you and hug you properly," I told him after our kiss.
"Your wish is my command," he chuckled, pulling out of the parking lot.
And that is how my wonderful boyfriend now fiancé proposed in front of a McDonald's, not very romantic yet surprising and I wouldn't have it any other way. I loved this man, and it didn't matter if he proposed with a ring pop because I would've agreed in a heartbeat. I'm sure there was a long time to go until we had the ceremony but this was enough for me.

BTS REACTION — HOW YOU MET (IDOL VERSION)
Summary: Idol!BTS meet Foreigner!Reader
Warnings: None, except maybe light cursing, reference to a car crash and mentions of alcohol being consumed.
Note: In these scenarios, all members are fluent in English (or they can at least hold a good conversation). I tried to keep all the scenarios gender-neutral, although I had a specific vision in mind for Hoseok’s and Jungkook’s one, which involved a girl. If anyone wants me to write new scenarios or to rewrite these ones in a gender-neutral form, feel free to let me know.
KIM SEOKJIN (JIN)
It was a rainy day and clouds were filling the sky, hiding any trace of sunlight. As you walked through the streets of Seoul with your friend, an umbrella in one hand, you listed different possible activities you could spend your free time on. You both had just arrived in Seoul and although you hadn’t seen much yet, you had already fallen in love with South Korea’s capital.
Seokjin had a few days off from promotion, glad to get a short break from his hectic schedule. Even though he loved his job to no end, he sometimes needed some time off to himself, so he could go back to work feeling more inspired and relaxed than ever.
He had recently opened a restaurant with his brother and had decided to go lend a hand to the staff, seeing as someone couldn’t make it to work that day. He knew this was far from the stress-free day he had envisioned for himself, but there were two reasons why he felt compelled to head to the restaurant as soon as he woke up that morning, the first one being that he was one of the directors of said restaurant and that it only seemed natural that he visited and helped around from time to time, the second being that he was a generally very caring being and that refusing the request would simply be choosing to go against his core values.
Both your friend and yourself hadn’t yet thought of an appropriate way to keep yourselves occupied, but all you knew was that you were beginning to get quite hungry, your stomach grumbling every once in a while. You didn’t want to disrupt the course of your friend’s thoughts, but you thought it might be relevant to bring up the idea of stopping by a small restaurant to take a bite. As soon as you voiced your suggestion, her face lit up, and with a mysterious and excited tone, she declared, “Oh, I know a place where we could eat!” You agreed with a shrug, thinking to yourself that any restaurant would do at this point.
You walked in the streets for a good twenty minutes before finally reaching your destination, your friend becoming more and more excited with each step, but categorically refusing to tell you why. You entered the friendly-looking restaurant, analyzing your surroundings. On the outside, it looked as any other Japanese-style restaurant, but the inside was harmoniously decorated, suggesting the owner had great taste in accessorizing and inside decoration. A few plants were randomly displayed throughout the restaurant and the wooden touches gave a warm feeling, in contrast with the overall modern style of the building.
As you sat down to your assigned table and began flipping through the pages of the menu, after having spent a good half-hour waiting in line and complaining to (y/f/n), she called out your name and finally decided to tell you what had been on her mind ever since she came up with the idea of stopping by this particular restaurant: “You know about BTS, right?” “Of course! Who doesn’t?” “Well this place just happens to be owned by Jin and his brother!” You chuckled and commented, “Well now I get why you were so excited all of a sudden and why we had to waste thirty minutes of our precious time waiting in line! It’s certainly what’s causing all the hype surrounding this restaurant... This food better be worth the wait though!”
After having spent an overall total of forty five minutes waiting, the food finally came. You furrowed your brows in confusion as you heard several people gasping in unison when the waiter arrived with the numerous plates of meat, vegetables and other side dishes you would be sharing with your friend. As you looked up, you nearly choked on the water in the glass you were drinking from, quickly identifying your waiter as Kim Seokjin, Jin from BTS himself.
Seokjin had finally decided to step out of the kitchen, unable to stand the heat of the crowded area anymore, and as he saw two physically distinct woman sitting at a table, he specifically requested to attend to that table, intrigued and interested in the unusual situation.
In an attempt to make a nice first impression and as to project a good image of his restaurant, he formally introduced himself, trying to remember all that Namjoon and his English teachers had taught him about the English language over the years: “Hello! Welcome to Ossu Seiromushi! My name is Seokjin and I will be your waiter for today. Is this your first time here?” “Yeah,” the both of you answered at the exact same time. He quickly exclaimed, “Oh this is great! I hope that you will enjoy our food and that you will want to come back here next time!”
As your meal went on, Seokjin periodically came back to check on you, way more often than a usual waiter would, trying to hold some sort of conversation as much as possible given the fact that some fans occasionally interrupted the discussion to interact with their idol, and you had to admit that despite the situation, you enjoyed yourself quite a lot and already planned on visiting again soon, as suggested by Seokjin himself. You also had to admit the food lived up to your expectations, much to friend and your waiter’s delight.
When it was finally time to leave and to carry on with your day, it was with a heavy heart that you left the cozy building filled with delicious smells, knowing you might not be met by your friendly waiter the next time you stopped by in the future.
As you left the restaurant and as he headed back to the kitchen, Seokjin made sure to inform his brother about his lovely encounter and to make sure he kept an eye out for the two charming foreigners next time they came back.
MIN YOONGI (SUGA)
After having spent almost a year without seeing his family, Yoongi was finally returning to Daegu, having a brief pause in his busy schedule. As soon as he entered the familiar building that used to be his own house, he was greeted by Geumjae, his older brother, who had come over for the night knowing his younger brother was visiting, his dog, Holly, and the scent of his favourite dish, that his mom had so kindly decided to cook. Memories began flooding his mind and he couldn’t help but feel nostalgic about his past life, before he even though of becoming an idol. He was glad to have a break, even if it was only for a few days, so he could remember what being normal feels like, although he knew deep down he would never be seen as a ‘normal’ person anymore, even in his hometown. In fact, he was almost an heroic figure there, seeing as it almost seemed like a miracle that a young man from this small neighbourhood had succeeded in the international music stage.
You had arrived a while ago in Korea, settling down in a small apartment in Seoul. However, your desire of seeking new challenges and to explore the unknown led you to smaller cities, including your current location: Daegu. You had rented a hotel room nearby for a few days and had instantly fallen in love with the more modest buildings of the residential neighbourhoods and the flora of your surroundings, even though this town technically wasn’t half as impressive as South Korea’s biggest city, Seoul.
You had decided to go out and explore the city once the sun began to set, so the streets would be nearly empty and you’d be completely immersed into the peaceful atmosphere of the area. You aimlessly wandered around the town, stopping in a quiet park to sit down on the grass, staring at the sky.
Yoongi had dragged his brother out with him, still feeling the nostalgia from his childhood. He knew the only time he could come out of his house without getting noticed by locals was in the late evening, so he waited until it was pitch black outside to leave the familial residence. As soon as he stepped out, the light breeze surrounded him and the sound of silence rang in his ears, making him feel at home again. He carried a conversation with his older brother while walking on the sidewalk, the only lighting being provided by the small shops on the other side of the street, the lampposts lined along the sidewalk and the thousands of stars in the sky. Soon enough, the both of them reached the park where they had shared so much memories back when they were still children.
You got up from your spot on the fresh grass, beginning to walk again. At this point, you had to admit you were a little lost, after having mindlessly walked through the city for an hour or so. The once warm temperature had decreased, leaving you shivering through the thin fabric of your shirt and your partly exposed legs, and you could barely see where you were going as the sun had completely set.
You were so absorbed in trying to find your way back, that you had completely ignored your surroundings. You suddenly heard some noise directly coming from behind you, yelling in surprise. Your screams were answered by those of two manly voices. You looked up, meeting the eyes of two young men, seeming as surprised as you did. You quickly apologized, embarrassed from causing such a scene, but the boys assured you there was no harm done and you shouldn’t worry about such a thing.
Soon enough, you initiated a conversation with the two men you found out turned out being brothers. The oldest was named Geumjae, while the youngest, who seemed to be relatively close to your age, was named Yoongi, a name that sounded oddly familiar to your ears. Having nothing better to do, you sat back down in the grass, carrying on with your discussion. It was definitely close from midnight, but it didn’t seem to bother any of you. The boys were intrigued about what had brought you to their city in particular, seeing as you weren’t from the area, so you shared your story without neglecting a single detail, as the boys sitting in front of you questioned you from time to time, seemingly interested in your adventures.
After spending so much time outside, you could barely feel your arms anymore, your body not being able to keep you warm for much longer. You kept shivering and Yoongi soon noticed, offering you his hoodie, as the well-mannered man he was. After having made sure he didn’t mind, you gladly accepted his offer, the soft fabric warming up your skin at the very first contact.
Yoongi finally asked you where you were staying and as you answered, his brows knit in confusion. “But that’s at the other end of town... How long have you been walking?” he asked, staring at you. You shrugged, having lost track of time. “You’re really going to walk all the way back there?” he questioned you, seeming perplexed. You finally admitted being absolutely lost. At your confession, Yoongi suggested he and his brother gave you a ride back to your hotel. You felt terribly embarrassed at the thought of having to burden the kind strangers with your own issue, especially at such a late time in the evening, but you were also very tired and definitely couldn’t make it back to the hotel by yourself, so you gladly agreed, endlessly thanking the two brothers for their kindness.
About twenty minutes later, Yoongi dropped you off to the address you had given him. Before you left, he stopped you and stated, “You should keep my phone number as well as my brother’s in your phone. You never know what could happen and since you’re far from home, this might be useful. Don’t hesitate to let me know if you need anything. I might not always be available, but it might be worth the try anyway in case there’s a problem.”
With one last ‘thank you’, you exchanged your goodbyes and wished each other a great night, hoping you might get the opportunity to meet each other again in the near future.
JUNG HOSEOK (J-HOPE)
You had moved to Korea a few months ago to begin a student exchange program in university and you were definitely enjoying the new culture, as well as the new people you had met.
You did not expect to meet so many friendly individuals you had so much in common with and you had definitely become a more sociable person over the course of the past few weeks, much to your surprise.
You had met Dawon through mutual friends at a party and you were surprised at how well you both got along almost immediately. She was very warm and welcoming and her English was definitely above average, which made it easy to communicate, though you were also improving in Korean. You knew nearly from the start that she was Hoseok’s sister, but you never truly brought it up, well aware that she must hear about him and be compared to him more than enough as it is and there is no need to make matters worse.
Dawon’s parents were soon hosting a big gathering over at their house and Dawon had decided to invite her closer friends over, as well as her fiancé, since they were already expecting a large number of guests, and you felt incredibly blessed and honoured that she considered you as one of said close friends.
On the night of the house party, Dawon had texted you, claiming that one of the friends she had invited could not make it and that you were free to invite someone else to bring along. However, by the time you noticed her message, you were almost ready to leave and didn’t bother trying to reach anyone else.
Dawon, who was living in her own apartment, came to pick you up a bit early, as she had promised her parents to help set up the decoration and cook the different meals that would be served that night. As you got in the car, you noticed she was on the phone with someone and definitely seemed displeased: “What do you mean you’re not coming? I told you not to plan anything too time-consuming today so you’d be ready for the party! I already told my mom you three were coming! On top of that, Ga Young is sick and won’t be able to make it either...” The voice on the other side of the line replied, “I know, I’m truly sorry but I can’t make the cars in front of me go faster. I’ll do as best as I can, but don’t assume anything. If we can’t make it, have a great night and I’ll talk to you later!” Before Dawon could add anything, the other person you had recognized as Eun Hye hung up.
Dawon turned to you and said, “Sorry about that, I don’t want to ruin the mood or anything, but Eun Hye just called to tell me she, Soo Ah and Ye Rin got stuck in the traffic on their way back from I don’t know where, when I clearly told them not to plan anything today so they could come to the party and I already told my mom they were coming, but they’ll most likely not make it. Now you’re going to be the only friend of mine to come over...” She kept ranting, so you reassured her, “Hey it’s okay. It’s definitely not your fault and I don’t mind staying with you and your fiancé all night. I don’t think your mom will mind having a few less people to cater to tonight either...” “Thanks (y/n), you’re way too kind,” she answered. You smiled back at her and loudly declared, “Now let’s go get your fiancé so we can make it to the party on time!”
You soon left the city and reached the nice suburbs of Gwangju, where you were greeted by Dawon’s parents who excitedly welcomed all of you, glad to see their daughter and her lovely fiancé, and intrigued by the foreigner they both had brought along. You were scared of their reactions to your obvious cultural difference, but you were pleasantly surprised by the fact that they were very kind and interested in knowing about you.
Dawon dragged you inside, where you were met by a very familiar face, which left you speechless as Dawon exclaimed, “What are you doing here? Weren’t you on tour?” He frowned in confusion, replying, “What are you talking about? I told you I was coming back on the 5th.” “Oh I thought I had heard the 15th, my bad,” Dawon stated, chuckling. She then ran to hug her brother tightly. They were definitely a close pair. “Hoseok, this is my friend (y/n). You better be nice to her because all our other friends ditched us for the night and she doesn’t know anyone here but myself and my fiancé. By the way, just saying ... she’s single,” Dawon introduced you to her sibling with a playful tone. She then turned to you, saying, “(y/n) you probably already know my brother, but nonetheless, this is Hoseok.” You bowed to her brother and he did the same, the both of you smiling a bit awkwardly at Dawon’s introductions.
You all went on to assist their parents before the guests began arriving. Throughout the night, the four of you stayed together in a peaceful corner of the backyard, as Dawon stated she “would rather avoid the intrusive aunts and uncles constantly asking her about her private life”, to which Hoseok agreed.
You all discussed your latest stories and experiences, often having a good laugh at each other’s expense. The wine and soju you had all drunk surely helped loosening everyone up and making everything sound funnier than it really should be. Hoseok was very sweet, charismatic and down to earth, and it might’ve been the alcohol speaking, but you couldn’t help thinking to yourself that he definitely was very attractive. You thought it had been easy becoming friends with Dawon, but befriending Hoseok had proven being even easier. There was something about him that was so strongly compelling.
As the party came to an end and Dawon’s fiancé drove you all back to her place, she poked your shoulder, still a bit tipsy, commenting, “You know ... My brother really seemed to like you.” You turned to her and told her to stop saying such nonsense, but she continued: “N—No I’m not even kidding! Haven’t you noticed how he kept staring at you ever since you stepped foot in the house, how he laughed a bit more at your jokes than anyone else’s—“ “That’s because my jokes are funnier than yours and he knows that. And he was staring at me because I’m obviously very different from all of you guys,” you interrupted her. “Shhh — don’t interrupt me. He always filled your wine glass first and he kept leaning towards you. I know my brother, I know he’s not like that with just anyone,” she finished. You rolled your eyes and replied, “Dawon, I think you’re tired, just go to sleep and I’ll wake you up once we get to your apartment.”
She ignored your comment and before you could even react, she reached for your phone and unlocked it, already knowing your password by heart, and typed something in. She gave you your phone back and declared, “Here’s his number, since you seemed to be just as interested as he was.” You did not dare say anything, as you knew Dawon would not take any argument if you tried to prove her wrong. Were you being this obvious? As if she read your mind, she carried on, “You were way too smiley and giggly for your usual self, even when drinking. You should give him a chance, he can be a pretty nice guy sometimes even if he often purposely annoys the hell out of me. Anyway, when’s the last time you’ve been on a date?” “Hey don’t be so mean! I’m waiting for the right person, alright?” you affirmed in a jokingly offended tone. She laughed and claimed, “Well that right person might be my brother, who knows...”
Maybe Dawon was right, maybe you should give her brother a chance after all.
KIM NAMJOON (RM)
It was nearly midnight as you stared at the digital clock resting on your nightstand. After almost having spent a full hour tossing and turning in bed, you decided you had had enough and threw the blankets off your body, sitting up in the process. It had only been two days since you arrived in Seoul and you still hadn’t quite adjusted to the jet lag yet.
You threw on some very casual clothes and headed out the door, thinking some fresh air would do you good and maybe even help you fall asleep. You loved the fact that a lot of shops were open until very late, as you enjoyed the calm of the night. You abandoned the busy streets of Seoul’s most popular districts and soon reached the much more peaceful atmosphere of a mostly residential neighbourhood, taking advantage of the quietness that surrounded you. You had seen more than enough crowded places in the last two days and desperately needed a break from the obnoxiousness of the most famous landmarks.
You eventually spotted a small café on the other side of the road that seemed quite nice. As you entered the building, you were hit by the strong but pleasant smell of freshly ground coffee as well as the emptiness of the place, though that did not surprise you, considering that it was getting late.
You went through the list of possible selections on the wall behind the order counter and eventually settled for something simple as to not excite your brain more than it already was.
You stepped forward, greeted the lady in front of you and placed your order. As you were speaking you could clearly read on the woman’s face that she did not grasp a single word of what you were saying.
Although you had learnt some of the basics of the Korean language prior to your trip and that you were still studying the language to this day, you did not consider your skills good enough to have this kind of discussion, especially not at this time of the day, when your brain could barely function normally. Ever since the beginning of your trip, you had managed to avoid speaking Korean to anyone, as there was always at least one person available who could speak in English. However, as you looked around, you soon realized that it was only you and the barista, and that you had no choice but to find a way to communicate with her.
As you were reaching through your pockets to grab your phone in order to write down what you wanted to say on a translation app, you heard a manly voice behind you, making you jump slightly, “Excuse me, do you need help?” You turned around and had to do a double take. There was no way this man standing behind you could be Kim Namjoon, or was there? You decided to keep quiet and not bring this question up just yet. After having frozen for a few seconds while you processed your thoughts, you finally answered, “Ummm, actually, yes I do. I’d like to order something, but the employee only speaks Korean and I don’t master the language enough to hold this conversation.” He smiled sweetly and nodded, questioning you about your order.
Once you told him everything there was to know, he stepped forward and began discussing with the barista, who also seemed shocked by the man’s presence, ordering for the both of you.
“How much was it?” you immediately asked as he finished ordering and paying. He looked at you and smiled once again, declaring, “It’s free. I’m paying for you. Take it as a gift.” You quickly shook your head, arguing, “Oh no, I can’t accept that! You had to go through the trouble of ordering for both yourself and myself. If anything, I should be the one paying for the both of us.” He chuckled and replied, “This is non-negotiable. No matter what you say, I won’t change my answer. If you really want to make it up to me, why don’t you just keep me company while I drink my coffee? I’d sure love to chat if you want to. Get my mind off things, forget about my stressful day, you know?” “As long as you don’t have bad intentions, I’ll gladly accept this offer,” you playfully said, making him laugh.
You both found a clean table at the back of the room and sat down with your orders, chatting about anything and everything. At one point, you couldn’t help but ask him: “Is there a possibility that I’ve seen you somewhere before?” “There is, actually. My name is Kim Namjoon—“ “From BTS, right?” He nodded, as you continued, “Wow, I just want to say that I really enjoy listening to your music and that all of you guys are amazing artists!” He smiled shyly at your compliment, still not used to receiving such positive feedback from anyone, even after all this time, and then thanked you for your kind words.
As you had both finished your drinks and as you started to feel sleepiness weighing heavy on your shoulders, you decided to call it a night and head back to where you came from. However, right before leaving, Namjoon stopped you, cleared his throat and said, “Hey, um. I could give you my number, you know... just in case you ever need anything, or if you ever wanna chat again.” You nodded, answering, “Yeah, that would be nice...” And so you both exchanged your phone numbers before leaving.
As he watched you exit in front of him, Namjoon had a feeling he would be dialling that number soon enough.
PARK JIMIN (JIMIN)
You had just landed in Seoul no more than two hours ago, accompanied by your close friend. As soon as the luggage pickup and the customs were out of the way, the two of you headed off to retrieve your rented car from the car rental company located right outside of the airport, at a three minutes distance in the shuttle bus.
After nearly waiting for an hour in line, the both of you trading places between standing in line and a nearby seat every ten minutes, you were finally done signing the contract papers and had finally gotten a hold of the car keys that would belong to you for the next month.
A kind employee directed you towards the right car and then helped you pack your luggage into its trunk and backseat as necessary, before leaving the both of you by yourselves with this unfamiliar vehicle. You settled yourself in the driver’s seat, in common agreement with your friend, and began discovering and adjusting to its features.
It had been a long time since you both had last gotten any sleep and the darkness settling outside did not help at all. As you drove out of the car rental garage, you immediately noticed the heavy rain pouring from the evening sky, sighing deeply. Then, you were hit with the sight of the immensely dense trafic of the very populated city of Seoul, groaning in annoyance. Nothing seemed to be in your favour at this instant and you were quickly regretting your decision of taking the wheel in these conditions.
You had slowly gotten adjusted to driving and were slowly making your way towards the hotel where you had booked a room for the next few days in order to finally get some rest.
You reached an extremely crowded intersection and tried to pay attention to all of the surrounding cars as you turned around the street corner. However, you forgot to switch your focus back towards the front of your car quickly enough and suddenly —
BANG
Your car suddenly hit the one right in front of yours, making you and your friend scream in shock at the unexpected impact.
BTS were on their way back to their shared dorms after having performed on a music show. All of them were exhausted as it was getting late and they had been up since the early hours of the morning. As they sat at the back of the van, some fell asleep, some stared at the window and some kept chatting despite their low energy level. A sudden impact startled the passengers of the van as the driver let out a string of curses under his breath. Thankfully, the collision was not strong enough to cause any significant harm to anyone, but they definitely knew that the car would not be left intact.
You sighed, hiding your face behind your hands before brushing your hair back in despair. This was definitely not the most ideal way to start off your vacation and you were surely not planning on spending an important sum of money in car repair for a vehicle you had just gotten not even an hour ago as well as paying for the damage occasioned to the other driver’s car.
As you got out of the car and noticed the consequences, you couldn’t help the “Oh crap” that escaped your mouth. Soon after, the other driver also came out to inspect the damages. After eyeing the back of the van for a good fifteen seconds, he turned around to face you, angrily muttering in Korean, as you stood still, staring at him in confusion. Noticing you did not understand a word of what he was saying, he resolved in going back to the van to request an English speaking person as to discuss the incident with the foreigners who had bumped into their vehicle.
You had no idea what was going on and why the driver left you standing there without any explanation. Soon, you found yourself crying from anticipation, feeling a wave of panic overtake you, which was definitely uncharacteristic of your usually composed self. When all of this would be over, you would surely blame it on the lack of sleep, the stress occasioned by travelling and the jet lag. Your friend walked over to you, resting a soft hand on your shoulder in reassurance and questioning why you were in tears, but all you could manage to do was to gesture at your car and the van. You were so caught up in your thoughts that you did not notice the men coming out of the car.
BTS all sat in the van, curious as to what was taking so long. The driver soon came back and requested the only English speaking manager to come out, as the other individuals involved in the situation did not seem to speak much Korean. Said manager then turned to Namjoon and asked him to join him, as he wasn’t fully confident of his own English skills. Taehyung had fallen asleep on Jimin, who was beginning to feel restless and slightly bored. He decided to follow the two other men out of the car, despite the orders he had received to stay seated.
Namjoon approached you and your friend, firstly asking if you could speak English. The both of you nodded, encouraging Namjoon to continue. Your vision was still blurred from the tears and you were frightened by the situation, so you barely noticed the shocked look on your friend’s face and the three men standing in front of you. The manager began speaking, but didn’t know how to finish his sentence, so Namjoon took over once again: “Would you mind telling us what happened?” Your friend immediately responded, seeing you weren’t exactly in a right state to speak much, explaining the full situation in details to the good-looking man in front of her.
Jimin had always been extremely empathetic, a trait that would sometimes betray him, as he would excuse people that did not deserve forgiveness or as some took advantage of him. However, as he listened to your friend’s story and saw you standing on the side with tears pooling in your eyes, he couldn’t help feeling the need to walk over to you and try to comfort you as best as he could.
You felt someone resting their hand on the side of your arm, so you looked up from the ground, freezing as you finally realized who the men standing in front of you were. Jimin smiled softly, asking if you were feeling okay. As you shook your head and once again motioned at the two vehicles, he spoke up again: “Don’t worry about it too much, it happens to everyone... My friend, Jeongguk, could definitely tell you something about it.” He chuckled, then carried on, “Seriously though, we can definitely afford the repairs that need to be done to the two cars. Don’t worry about it, we’ll take care of that so you can peacefully enjoy your vacation.” You quickly shook your head, embarrassed at the thought of them paying for your own mistake, but Jimin was having none of it and dragged you back to where the others were standing, suggesting his idea to the two other men.
The manager refused, saying he was being too kind, as you were still the one who had caused the accident. Jimin did not give up and quickly thought of a seemingly fairer deal: “What about we pay for our own car and they pay for theirs? I can handle the cost for the van without a doubt.” The manager still felt sorry for you, and easily agreed to the offer.
You gratefully thanked Namjoon, Jimin and their manager, as Jimin walked back to you. “Please open your phone and give it to me.” You did as told, not knowing what to expect. Jimin seemed to be writing something down, and as he gave it back to you, you realized it was a phone number. He glanced at your slightly confused face and claimed, “Here. In case you ever need anything, you can call me, alright?” You thanked him and you both exchanged one last smile before parting ways.
As you sat back in your car, your friend turned to you and asked, “What was THAT?!” To which you replied, “You sure we’re not asleep and dreaming?” It came out as a joke, but you truly felt as though you were in some kind of dream or unconscious state since the situation felt so unreal.
You finally drove to your initial destination, the hotel, and right before falling asleep, you stared at your phone screen, a fond smile on your face.
KIM TAEHYUNG (V)
BTS had just started filming a long awaited new season of Bon Voyage. In the past few days, they had learnt how to cook traditional foods, competed in an obstacle race against one another and flew over the area in an helicopter, trying to spot important features that were listed in a document that was handed out to them.
Today, they were yet again racing against each other, but this race was much different than the one they had previously done. They were being given a map of the city they were currently in and had to orient themselves without the help of electronic devices in order to get to a specific landmark before the others did, requesting help from locals if needed. The boys all started at an equal distance from the target, but they were all separated as to avoid some members following or helping out others, which would be considered as cheating.
Taehyung looked at the map in his hands, immediately drawing over what seemed to be the quickest path to take to reach the final goal from his starting point, then searching for the right street to head on. After walking for nearly ten minutes, Taehyung noticed that the road in front of him seemed to be going uphill on a long distance. He decided he would find a new itinerary, as the one he was currently on would significantly slow him down because of its increased difficulty.
He walked for another twenty minutes, before he stopped to take a small break. He stared at the street signs, then back at his map with eyebrows knitted in confusion. It seemed he had been going the wrong way all along, despite him making sure to look out for the different streets and avenues that would lead him to the landmark. With a deep sigh, he decided he would not waste time trying to find his way back by himself and would instead resolve in asking a local for guidance.
You were getting out of a small shop, a water bottle and your phone in hand. You had planned on meeting a friend in a park at the other side of town and thought it would do you good to walk the whole distance instead of going by car or public transportation, a choice that you were deeply regretting as you felt overly thirsty and tired not even halfway towards the destination. You had forgotten to bring something to drink, so you resigned in buying a water bottle and then kept heading towards your destination.
Taehyung noticed you walking out of the store and thought that you looked nice. He walked over to you, hoping you could help direct him.
You felt someone gently tapping your shoulder, then an unknown voice said, “Excuse me, do you live around here?” Confused, you turned around and nodded at the stranger’s question. As your eyes met his, they widened in surprise. You thought you knew who these eyes belonged to, yet there was no way Kim Taehyung could be standing in front of you right this instant, or so you thought.
He smiled shyly, then continued, “Sorry to bother you... My friends and I are not from around here and we’re competing in some kind of race. I’ll spare you the details, but now I’m — kinda — lost. Could you maybe direct me the right way?” You kept your excitement to yourself, not wanting to bother him while he was on some kind of vacation, and simply asked where he was heading, so you could help him out.
As he showed you his map with a big red dot on the target location, you realized it was relatively close to where you were meeting your friend. “This is going to sound weird, but I’m heading approximately the same way, so if you want, I could walk with you and accompany you until you reach your goal, then head off to my own destination,” you suggested. You knew this was not exactly the most prudent decision, as you barely knew the person standing in front of you, at least, not personally, and he might as well have been a psychopath that was planning on abducting you, but there was something about his charming face and genuine smile that radiated trustworthiness, reliability and kindness and you couldn’t help trusting and assisting him. Too bad if you end up getting killed, at least you’ll have spent your last minutes with a handsome man. Besides, he had a cameraman with him, so what could truly go wrong?
Taehyung gladly agreed to your offer, before stating, “Well, since we’re going to spend the next minutes together, might as well introduce ourselves properly. I’m Taehyung. Nice to meet you!” His introduction sounded so simple that if you didn’t know any better, you would’ve never guessed he was part of the biggest boy group in the world. “Nice to meet you too Taehyung, I’m (y/n),” you replied with a smile, handing out your hand for him to shake.
You didn’t waste any more time and started walking towards Taehyung’s destination. However, the man did not seem to be in such a hurry as he was before. He was fascinated by everything your city had to offer, even in the smallest details, and he often stopped and pulled out his expensive camera to snap a picture of something he thought was worthy of being captured. You had to admit he really had an eye for that and seemed to take some amazing pictures that you could only hope to ever achieve. He was very interested in anything you had to tell him about your city’s history, attractions and current events, as well as stuff about yourself and your life. He was very attentive, yet revealed very little about himself. Maybe it was the fact that he was constantly in the public eye that made him that way, so you did not insist on asking him more personal questions.
As you reached Taehyung’s end goal, you both figured he was clearly not going to win the race, but he didn’t seem to mind at all. He wasn’t much of a competitive person. Before you left and he went to join his other members, he cut out a small piece of the map and took his pen out, scribbling something on the paper and handing it to you. It seemed to be his phone number.
“Thank you so much for your time and help, I promise I’ll repay you for that. Just think of anything you’d like and let me know. Have a nice rest of your day and hopefully we’ll speak again soon,” he claimed, walking away before you could argue that it was not necessary of him to repay you for anything.
You went on to meet your friend and had to explain your late arrival as they gave you a skeptic look, but believed you anyway in the end. As you got back home that night, you plugged Taehyung’s number in your phone, a wine glass in your hand. As you were about to press send on your text message, you thought to yourself that it was definitely worth giving it a try and that the worst that could happen was that you’d be left with a funny story to tell.
JEON JEONGGUK (JUNGKOOK)
You had recently gotten a job at a relatively famous club in your city through a friend who already worked there. You weren’t exactly the type one would imagine working in a club, but you were gradually getting used to the loud music, the drunk people stumbling around and the flirty individuals, who’ve had one too many drinks and who seem to forget about personal space. Not that you were complaining about it, but working a few nights in a row could be quite exhausting and you definitely enjoyed your days off even more than you used to.
It was Friday night, which was already a busy night to begin with. However, at some point, you could definitely feel the crowd getting bigger than you had expected and the atmosphere being filled with an unusual level of excitement, which had you wondering what could be happening that had gotten people so thrilled.
It wasn’t a rare occurrence that celebrities would come and visit the club, but there had never been so much enthusiasm linked to it. Although you were curious as to what was happening, you couldn’t leave your spot behind the bar unoccupied, so you kept your curiosity to yourself and kept doing what you were supposed to do and what you had been doing all night: serving drinks.
It had been about an hour since the crowd’s intensity had reached a new high when two young men came to sit on the bar stools right in front of you. As you turned to face them, you immediately recognized Jimin and Jungkook from BTS, and god were they even more gorgeous in real life than you could ever have imagined! You thought to yourself that this must be the reason why clients had been so excited all night. Feeling slightly intimidated by their presence, you minded your own business, waiting for one of them to speak to you first.
After a few awkward seconds that seemed to last for hours, Jungkook turned to you, grinned and said, “E–Excuse me miss! Y–You really have n–nice hair!” He then turned to face Jimin, who was giggling uncontrollably at his friend’s behaviour. They were both very clearly drunk. You nodded and smiled, murmuring a quiet ‘thank you’, hoping the dark lighting would cover the fact that you were extremely flustered at his words. Drunk or not, Jeon Jungkook had just complimented you.
Turning back towards you, Jungkook carried on, “Can I pleaseee have um... maekju?” “I’m sorry, what did you just say?” Jimin quickly corrected his friend: “Beer. He wanted to say beer. I want one too please.” You nodded and left to go and get the beverages, confirming that this was what they wanted as you came back.
Before giving them their orders, you jokingly claimed, “Just because you complimented me, doesn’t mean that you’ll have this drink for free!” Jungkook exaggeratedly gasped in a silly manner and replied, “Oh noooo! Why?” You rolled your eyes, although your smile clearly gave away your amusement. “Because that’s not how it works, sir.” “You can call me J–Jungkook and... and this is my friend Jimin! And Jinnie-hyung, Namjoonie-hyung, Hoseokie-hyung, Yoongi-hyung and Tae are somewhere else. It’s Yoongi-hyung’s fault if I’m like that now! He gave me all these drinks Ma’am!” You almost felt as if you were talking to a child and you couldn’t help but laugh at the thought of it. “What’s your name, Miss?” “(y/n).” “Lovely (y/n),” Jungkook drunkenly mumbled.
It seemed as though the two friends were not there to party, since they spent half an hour discussing with you and drinking a few beers. Jungkook suddenly stopped you mid-sentence, asking, “M–Miss! I want your uh... phone number!” As soon as he finished speaking, he reached for his phone, handing it to you. “You need to put in your password so I can have access to it,” you stated. He quickly grabbed his phone back, unlocked it, and shoved it back in your face. You plugged your number in and gave the phone back to him, as he asked for your phone so he could give you his own number. He then insisted on giving it a try, to verify that all was working well.
After a while, you could see Jungkook dozing off on the counter in front of you, his excitement slowly being replaced by sleepiness. Jimin asked you if you could keep an eye on his friend, so he could go and gather his other friends, to which you gladly agreed. He soon came back with the other members of BTS who introduced themselves to you, all chuckling at Jungkook’s sleeping form on the counter.
You delicately patted his head to wake him up, so he could join his friends. He smiled up at you, then awkwardly hid his face back into his hands once he became aware of his surroundings and noticed his band mates staring at him.
When the time came for BTS to leave the club, Jungkook decided to pay for all of his friends, giving you definitely much more money than needed, adding, “Extra tip for an extra-nice barmaid!”
The next morning as you woke up, you tried texting Jungkook:
“Hey! It’s (y/n), the barmaid from yesterday night, in case you don’t remember. You seemed pretty drunk... How are you feeling this morning?”
You laughed at the short answer you received from his end:
“Sick :(“
You were glad he at least remembered you despite the drunken state in which he had met you. This seemed like the beginning of a pleasant and exciting friendship, and you couldn’t wait to see where this would lead you.
Author’s Note: Hi! I used to be excusemiihatesnakeu, but I recently changed my username. I haven’t written on this blog for a long while, despite having promised to come back with some content soon after having posted my first reaction. Truth is, not only have I been extremely busy with school, work, relationships, social life, etc. but it also takes me forever to write anything because I keep doubting my writing and lacking inspiration, which deeply discourages me of even trying to write anything to begin with. Despite still being extremely busy, I will challenge myself to write more, as it is somehow calming and freeing for me, and I will try my best to post more content in the near future, but please be patient with me, I swear I’m trying my best! By the way, sorry about the excessively long scenarios (and the uneven, varying length of those scenarios between the different members), I seriously cannot stop myself from writing once I begin. I’ve literally spent hours on this and I feel like I’m slowly losing my mind (lmao)! If you have any thoughts or (constructive) criticism that you would like to share, please do so in the comments or in my ask box (in which you can also request content). Thanks for reading my work and I hope you’ve enjoyed doing so! If you’ve read up to here, you clearly deserve an award! :)

Plotlines of BTS Music Videos According to My Drunk Ass
Just to be clear I am not promoting drinking to minors or anything like that. Plus I am of age so whatever.
Music Video 1: Fire
Let’s just put it out there that the whole plot of the music video is about a group of hooligans causing trouble around their neighbor hood. Moreover it starts with them and the reader hanging out at the town’s youth center. Supposedly they all (except Jimin) have grown up together, learning how to survive the streets and deal with the shit life’s thrown at them.
Now onto the key characters:
Min Yoongi: The badass gangster who enjoys causing chaos and mischief. He’s the one who creates the most drama by actively engaging in criminal activities simply for the fun of it. He constantly tags buildings and picks fights with other people. Think of it this way: Yoongi is the one everyone watches out for, because he has no problem meeting a pipe to your face.
That said naturally his character is rather antagonistic and anti-social as well. While he does care about the members of his group, Hoseok is the only one he truly trusts to let in. Moreover his relationship with the reader is that of an older brother who finds their sibling annoying so they constantly bully them; that said anyone who messes with you better watch the fuck out. You are his pest after all.
Jung Hoseok: The brotherly bad boy who has way too much fun being naughty. Both Yoongi and J-hope share one thing in common, they enjoy being bad boys. However while Yoongi leans more towards apathetic chaos, J-hope merely enjoys the thrill and status comes along with the title. He is the type to cause trouble when others are watching or his friends are there, but never the one to plan it. Honestly Hoseok is a bit of a ladies man always bragging about his reputation to impress, but really he does that to everyone.
He’s officially the group’s hype man. The one everyone trusts immensely, because at the end of the day what Hoseok is really proud of is his family (you guys) and does everything he can to protect/make you guys happy. Like Yoongi, Hoseok acts as a big brother figure towards. Unlike Yoongi, he’s always thrilled to see you.
Jeon Jungkook: The innocent newbie corrupted by his “big brothers,” probably rather self-explanatory. As the youngest Jungkook wasn’t around when the group started (the group being you and the Maknae line). In fact he’s the latest addition to the neighborhood, moving there with either his single mother or foster parents. At first the poor boy is so out of place in the neighborhood dealing with life and constantly bullies, it only adds to his misfortune that you meet him. Yes, you the reader can be blamed for introducing Jungkook into thug life (lol thug life); not purposefully of course you simply saw the baby bunny and took him under your wing. If anything you try to protect him, while keeping Jungkook away from all the trouble.
To Jungkook, you are the mother/older sister figure he has never had. He cares deeply for you, practically following you around like a lost duckling. However Jungkook also idolizes the others and wishes to become like them. Thus, causing him to get into trouble.
Kim Namjoon: The muscles-first off let me say how sorry I am for this. Joon is legit my ultimate basis and the smartest of them all yet he plays the meathead in this plotline. Why? Oh god why? I don’t know, but he does.
Namjoon is the second member of the group no one wants to piss off. Not because of any sociopathic tendencies like Yoongi, but because Namjoon punches harder than the six of them combined. He’s literally the armored shield that steps in between members and those who threaten them. Now I don’t have as much facts on him as the others, but I can say this: Namjoon is a follower not a leader here, and like Yoongi, he find you annoying-although he is less antagonistic about than other is. Also like Yoongi, he’ll beat the living shit out of anyone who messes with you.
Kim Taehyung: The introverted computer genius who prefers technology over people. In this plotline our bubbly Tae, plays an awkward anti-social computer genius who really doesn’t know how to interact with people on a massive level. Remember that character in tv shows, that is friends with everyone despite having odd tendencies and never leaving home? Well, that Taehyung. He spends most of his days playing computer or videogames, only to occasionally come up with some genius deceive or program that helps the group out. To outsiders, he’s a freak, but to the group he’s their family and no one mess with family.
While Taehyung barely interacts with the others, the one person he does interact with is the reader. This is mainly because of your caring nature and patience. Out of everyone, you more than anyone accept his quirks. Which is why he has such a crush on you. Sadly our poor Tae won’t make the cut in this plotline.
Park Jimin: The stereotypical prep who pays the group to join them in their mischief. Now we are getting close to the heart of the story. Although not the antagonist of the plotline, Jimin definitely gets the ball rolling by bribing you guys into letting him join the group for a week or two. This boy is literally that rich kid rolling around in daddy’s money, but find life a bore. Like many others he idolizes the trouble you get into and wants in on that bad boy life. Initially he annoys everyone, but by some miracle he actually manages join by earning your guys’ trust somehow.
Note you and him have an especially rocky relationship at first, thanks to his flirty ‘I’m hot’ attitude. To him, you are different from all the other girls. You are from the other side of the track making you a forbidden fruit. To you, he’s just a moron who doesn’t realize how good he has it.
Kim Seokjin: Ex-leader gone Captain America, he is the definition of bad boy gone good. Once the esteemed leader of your group of misfits, Jin now finds himself determined to move away from crime and go to college by playing sports. He wants to prove to you all, that succeeding in life is a possibility without committing crimes. This goal especially means a lot to him, because Jin sees himself as responsible for everyone in the group .Unfortunately turning over a new leaf has left him alienating the group and in turn getting alienated by them. He constantly struggles between staying on the righteous path and not involving himself in group matters. (Note: he can never stay away when one of you are in danger.)
What’s really interesting about Jin’s character is his relationship with you. Out of everyone in the group you are the one he cares most about. In fact it can be said you are the reason behind his drastic change and determination to leave the neighbor hood. Ironically though that doesn’t mean you understand his actions or reasonings. To you, abandoning everyone is unforgivable and you two often go head to head on your beliefs. In the end however, Jin is the love interest of this plotline.
.........Also they have a band..........
Anyway that was extremely embarrassing to write, but I hope you enjoy my crazy plotlines and let me know if you want to read about the other ones I have.

═══════ ೋღ ღೋ ═══════
Nov 19th - 25th
═══════ ೋღ ღೋ ═══════
Kim Seokjin - forget
When you are an idol you work hard with barely any time for yourself or your loved ones. Jin had been neglecting you and when you told him you would give him a full body massage he was happy to let you remove the knots from his tender muscles.
“Does that feel good?” You asked if you were sitting on his back pressing your thumbs slowly in circles up the expanse of Seokjin’s back and out over his wide shoulders. Which you loved to see how tiny your hands looked against his shoulder blades.
“Oh, Namjoon-ah that feels really good” He said, you’re hands freezing in place. “I mean, y/n...”
“Jin honey, you know who I am right?”
“Yes you’re my sweet girlfriend whom is forgiving for her dumb and tired boyfriend for forgetting her name and saying Namjoons?” He whined.
Min Yoongi - my turn
“Yooooongi!” You called and he turned from his desk and raised an eyebrow. “Can you paint my nails on the right hand, you know I can’t I am right handed and it gets messy?”
“Alright sit and give me your hand” Yoongi held your hand and delicately painted each of your nails the beautiful midnight blue colour and gently blew cool air against them trying to get them to dry. “Alright they are done?”
“Okay, thank you” You kissed him and went to grab the bottle and leave when he placed his hand in yours. “Yoongi?”
“My turn, I want to match” He said wiggling his hand “Quickly, I have work to do”
Jung Hoseok - origami
Hoseok didn’t like the quarantine one bit, he didn’t like that all his activities were now restricted, he wanted to eat, explore, travel, and play where every his feet and heart led him. The light in his eyes started to dim and you knew you had to take matters into your own hands. Taking a few videos from youtube you streamed them onto the television and placed paper in front of him.
“Let’s make as many as we can!” You smiled and the two of you spent at least an hour on making various animals and the two decided to make one a day together. The apartment was overflowing with various paper creatures and you loved it. Sometimes you suprised Hoseok with a range of paper hearts around his side of the bed just to bring a little more joy to his life.
Kim Namjoon - happy
Namjoon was happy they could tell because he hadn’t stopped singing, the shower was running and his voice was so sharp through the walls. He may have been off key but the boys didn’t mind they really only cared that the leader who spent his days translating, mediating, hyping, supporting and protecting the group, was happy.
“I am making his favourite for dinner” Seokjin smiled
“I will help” Yoongi nodded and the group gathered everything to protect and thank their leader as they tried to do most days.
Park Jimin - spicy
If there was one thing you loved more than anything it was giving your boyfriend compliments and making him blush. You loved giving him all the attention he deserved, he combed his hair back on one side and had a pair of dark jeans and a tight shirt he looked rather nice.
“Oh Jimin, damn why are you so spicy?” You fanned your face, “give me a turn baby” he turned slowly the back of his hand pressed to his face to hold back his laughter.
“Oooh it’s even spicier from the back. You will have to change, I can’t let my man out looking like a whole snack”
“You really think I look good?” He asked “or are you just saying that?”
“Jimin I think you always look good but right now, I’m asking you to look less good before someone tries to steal you away from me”
“I won’t let them steal me”
“What do you say if another girl says, damn you look spicy?”
“I will tell them this heart belongs to my girlfriend and my girlfriend alone”
Kim Taehyung - hell
You were in a car accident and you looked at the young teen in the passenger seat, he was passed out. You were both dying and you knew it for a fact. Taking a gurgling breath you pleaded, “I will give everything my life everything for someone to save him. Please he is my little brother”
Everything was gone and you were curled up crying on the marble floor. “You asked for me darling, pathetically pleaded and I answered, I saved your little brother but unfortunately you gave everything to me. You are mine to enjoy how I please” He knelt down on one knee and lifted your chin wiping your eyes. “Don’t cry your brother is safe and so are you”
Nodding you took his hand and followed him.
Jeon Jungkook - stout
You weren’t tall and you weren’t that thin, but you didn’t let it stop you, you were a childrens entertainer, most of the time you dressed as snow white as she had a pretty round face and you could pass as her better than someone like Elsa.
You arrived at the birthday party feeling confident, you sang to the children and was warned about the prince that would arrive eventually. In the middle of your singing you heard a sweet voice accompanying you and turned to see the prince, the little girls swooned and honestly you did too.
After the party, he led you aside and grinned, “I have never gotten to work with a princess before?” He rubbed the back of his neck, “Do you mind if I take your card? I liked working with someone. It's better than working on my own.”
“I am sure there are probably better looking princess’ out there taller thinner, you know one of the girls in their said I would be better off as mrs potts or the fairy godmother, someone who fits the stout build” You sighed handing over your card
“I like my princess’ with a fuller figure, it's a good influence on the girls and boys. I want to teach them that bigger girls have more to love. Because it’s true, I also think they are nicer people and you know, it feels good to have something to hold”

So here’s the run down:
-I get in the building, couldn’t find the merch (it was on he other side so I missed it and when the concert was over the line was mad long so I knew it wasn’t worth it)
-so concert started a bit late cause smart financial does not know how to handle large crowds
-since we were waiting we didn’t know exactly when it would start and at some point an mnet comercial played but we thought it was the concert starting so we then all collectively Lost. Our. Shit.
-couple min later concert does start
-I’m screaming like my damn life depends on it
-when the screen finally starts to rise once again, we mcfreakin loose
-they wore the Versace fits and did shoot out first (I don’t remember the exact order of all the songs played cause I was lit af so my memories jumbled)
-at some point something malfunctioned w kihyuns jacket so he threw it away to the side
-evetually they started getting hot and only im, hyungwon, and Wonho had their jackets
-shownus shirt was so tight you could see the button fighting keep that mf closed
-actually I’m pretty sure that bitch popped by the next song
-also he was so sweaty the fabric of his shirt stuck to his skin so u could see EVERYTHING
-they all sound SO GOOD LIVE
-especially kihyun like—dude can wail!
-hyungwon is a thousand percent more handsome in person especially w the longer hair like...WOW
-Jooheon is the ultimate hype man
-also I’m mad jealous of mbb who sat in the first row cause Jooheon stayed interacting w them
-after today I dgaf what ANYWONES gotta say about who’s the best kpop rapper—it’s Lee Jooheon and I’m Changkyun. Recognize talent
-Minhyuk IS a bby
-oh gahd their solo stages I—
-KiHyunMin stage was a LOT sexier than I anticipated
-JooKyun stage..........all I can say is the dragon sho as hell entered THIS night
-like seriously Jooheon is so damn talented like homeboy can LIT RUT LEE do it all
-tbh they could do a concert by themselves and id still be as hyped
-they didn’t make the flip trick 🤣🤣🤣 (still played the hype music tho)
-WonSho stage was ethereal and luxurious
-Wonho wore his Thotfit
-Shownus tiddies were barely concealed by a see through shirt w only one button
-also I loved the dance for it!?!!!??!!? So much emotion!
-when wonsho left kihyungmin came back out to entertain us for a while
-hyungwon did a sexy dance while ki sang
-I forgot when play it cool was but—WAIT IT WAS DURING VERSACE TIME cause I remember Changkyun sang during the chorus of who do you love
-or maybe it wasn’t
-this whole thing is jumbled
-but WOW what a singer Jooheon is
-IM SANG CENTER FOR WHO DO U LOVE
-Anyways back to kihyungmin
-so they’re goofin while the others get ready
-then jookyun comes out
-more goofin
-then i don’t remember why but Im showed off his thigh (he pulled his shorts leg up) AND WHEN I SAY THIS BOY IS RIPPED!?!!??!
-LIKE DUDE HAS SLIGHTLY LESS BULKY WONHO THIGHS
-than hyungmin did it and they’re so tiny lmao
-also yes kihyun IS the smallest member
-by my side was soooooo sweeeet like my lil Monbebe heart burst🥺
-Im pretending to me a drunk bish during party time SENT me
-the end to party time when they go “we be like dalalalala” SENT US
-so many sweet moments of them expressing their love to us
-we died SEVERAL times during the first vcr it was so cute🥺
-which was a stark contrast to how FUCKED up the second one was
-we got MAD lit for oh my
-when Jooheon did the whisper rap we mcfreakin LOST. IT.
-seriously mbbs were singing the WHOLE damn time
-me include
-my voice is gone. Finished. Finite.
-so they ‘end’ w I think it was alligator?
-so they’re waving like bye this is the last song, we outcha!
-which made me low key sad cause I’m like ahhh no rodeo:(
-so naturally some ppl start to leave but the majority of us stayed
-like lit rut Lee just 5-10 minutes of us occasionally screaming and then chanting mx
-then...outta no where...we see a dim set of lights on stage
-so naturally we go NUTS
-then like magic....h.one appears
-even w no music were going O.F.F.
-so then the other memebers start to come out again and they’re dancing and stuff, just boolin
-Jooheon starts to hype Shownu and he did a lil dance but then got embarrassed by Jooheon and us cheering so he stopped
-Jooheon then hit the woah several times
-if I get around to posting the endment I must cause it’s so sweet and sad:(
-I think Wonho was getting emotional that it was the end of the concert so he kept his head down w his hat covering his eyes while he went
-hyungwon said he felt like Houston made him comfortable like being back in Korea
-Minhyuk said he feels bad cause we were giving 100% but he felt like he only gave 50% which—BOY! IF THATS YOU AT 50% IM ALMSOT SCARED TO SEE 100%
-we also hardcore disagreed cause homeboy was putting in W.O.R.K!
-Kihyun said sometimes after concerts the members feel empty (DAMN MY FEELS) so it was nice to have our support
-Jooheon basically became a preacher for a couple minutes and told us to be happy and follow our dreams
-jooheons fam was there!
-they sang I do love you to end and WOW was I made soft af
-which is funny cause I never particularly cared for the song, but guess who’s changed her mind about that🤪🤪🤪
-then so now it’s over they’re walking to stand on the platform and Wonho OUT OF FUCKING NO WHERE—decides he’s just gonna....TAKE HIS SHIRT OFF!!!!!
-THEN FUCKING MINHYUK THREW IT INTO THE AUDIENCE
-then that was it and I left to wait outside for my cousins to pick me up which took forever cause traffic was awful
-also a fire truck showed up????? This ain’t nct?????
Final Tots:
-Lee Jooheon and Im Changkyun are the G.O.A.T.’s of korean rappers, idol or otherwise
-hyungwon and Minhyuk both sing excellently(so starship give them more damn lines)
-Kihyun and fucking Jooheon were BELTING them lines (especially Kihyun like lil homie did NOT come to play games)
-Wonho is basically if you got a ziplock bag, stuffed it w marshmallow fluff till its maxed, then drew abs on it dudes just MAD cuddly
-Shownu.......he really is a whole ass man
-I loved every minute of this I wasn’t disappointed at all I enjoyed myself immensely and I hope I get to see them again in the future (hopefully vip!)
#tbh im extremly jooheon biased after this#a lil hyungwon too that hair just DOES things for him#monsta x

Because of Me / Yoongi x Reader
Yoongi never thought dreams held any value, so, after waking up from a nightmare, he was simply annoyed he didn’t get a good night’s sleep. He had no idea his nightmare would come true.
pairing: Min Yoongi x Reader
warnings: angst
words: 3.7k
ANON REQUEST: Yoongi gets txts from u while performing cuz u hear some1 in the house and then ur txts stop and when he gets home the police won’t let him through so he can’t get to u and ur not answering ur phone so he’s really worried but happy ending pls!
“Fifteen til showtime,” the stage manager warned Yoongi by sticking his head into the group’s dressing room.
Yoongi was the only person still here. Every other member had gone out to do last preparations before going on stage but Yoongi was tired. He had a nightmare last night, so he barely slept, and he was getting ready for the performance the whole day today, so he couldn’t take any naps to make up for his lack of sleep, either.
On top of that, he was worried about you not texting him back. You had gone out to have dinner with your friend and you’d told him you would text him when you returned back home but it was now almost three hours later, and he still hadn’t heard from you.
Sending you the thirteenth text in the past half an hour, Yoongi sighed and got up from the sofa on which he had tried to get some rest before he became too worried about you to even consider the possibility of falling asleep.
And then finally, just as he had given up, his phone buzzed, indicating a text message from you.
YOU [09:47pm]: phone’s dead, so sorry for not texting you back. charging it now! good luck at the show, love you!
Exhaling in relief, Yoongi shook his head. Just one exclamation point after the declaration of love and he had already forgiven you for making him worry so much.
YOONGI [09:48pm]: no problem, glad you’re safe & okay. talk to you after the show, love you
You didn’t reply again but, this time, Yoongi wasn’t as nervous. Now he knew you were home, so he finally joined the rest of his groupmates as they jumped around, warming up for the show.
“Did you get in touch with her?” Namjoon asked, noticing Yoongi’s arrival.
Yoongi hadn’t even told him he was waiting for your text but Namjoon was always intuitive about this. He claimed Yoongi wore all of his anxiety about you on his face, although the other members never suspected anything.
“I did,” Yoongi said, unable to help the small smile spreading on his lips. That tended to happen every time he talked about you and it thoroughly amused everyone. “Her phone died. She’s okay.”
“She always is,” Namjoon said gently.
“Yeah, I know that, but…” Yoongi hesitated, glancing at the watch on his wrist. They still had about eight minutes left before they had to go on stage. “Ah, I don’t know. I guess I’m just on edge because of the bad dream I had tonight.”
“What was the dream about?” the leader asked, crossing his arms over his chest and frowning slightly. Namjoon got bad dreams, too, but none of them were so horrible that he couldn’t still get enough rest. And, to be honest, he’s never heard of Yoongi having a dream that bad before, either, hence the natural curiosity.
“It started out as one of those cliché nightmares,” Yoongi said, his eyes glazing over as he stared at the equipment around them, losing himself in the memory of the dream. “I was running through a dark forest. I thought I was running from someone but then I realized I wasn’t. I was actually chasing someone. As I got closer to the person, I realized I was actually chasing… Y/n.”
Yoongi stopped to check Namjoon’s reaction but he seemed unphased, so he continued, “and she’s running from me, b-but I’m not really me, you know? Because she’s screaming for help. She’s screaming my name. She wants me to help her. But I can’t help her b-because I’m the one chasing her.”
Namjoon considered this for a moment. Yoongi was a bit of a cynic when it came to dreams. He insisted they didn’t mean anything, so he didn’t really care about what he saw when he was asleep – that’s why Namjoon found it so interesting and, perhaps, slightly off-putting that Yoongi would be so concerned about this particular dream.
“I know you don’t believe in this stuff,” Namjoon said. “But I’m sure this dream was just the projection of your inner anxiety about the relationship. The fact that you’re chasing her might mean that you think you’re making it difficult for her. Maybe because you’re an idol and she isn’t. And since she’s running away from you but still calling you for help probably means that you think she’s putting up with all of this because she loves you but what she really wants is for you to… just be a normal, simple person. I don’t know, that’s just my, uh, interpretation.”
Namjoon added that last part because he saw heaviness on Yoongi’s face. He knew he hit everything head-on, especially the part about Yoongi’s constant concern for his relationship, but he didn’t mean to cause Yoongi even more worry by interpreting his dream. He was just trying to ease his mind since, clearly, the nightmare had left the older member alarmed.
“Look, I’m sure the dream doesn’t mean anything,” Namjoon gave in then, even though he wasn’t sure about anything at all. But he knew that sometimes, you were meant to say things you didn’t mean just to make the people you loved feel better.
“What if it does but you’re just understanding it wrong?” Yoongi asked, his open-minded attitude towards dream analysis surprising Namjoon. “What if the dream means that I have these two different personalities?”
“Ah. Kind of like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde?”
“Yeah, uh, that,” Yoongi nodded although he wasn’t familiar with the details of the book Namjoon had just mentioned. “Or Fight Club.”
Namjoon understood. “You don’t have two personalities, hyung.”
“No, not to you, maybe, because we’re in this together,” Yoongi continued. “But what if Y/n sees me as two different people? The Yoongi – her boyfriend – that she knows personally and the… the Suga everyone sees on stage. And the latter is exactly the one she’s trying to run away from, while she’s asking the Yoongi she’s dating for help.”
Namjoon swore he almost got shivers. That tended to happen a lot if he and Yoongi sat down and just talked about whatever – which usually turned into deep philosophical conversations that somehow strengthened their bond, even if they found things they disagreed about – but he was still surprised about how deep Yoongi’s mind really was. He may have put up an almost nihilistic front, but really, Yoongi was open to believe anything if it had enough legitimate proof.
“Maybe that’s the way you think she sees it,” Namjoon chose to say. “This is a dream that you had. It manifested your unconscious mind. Not hers.”
“Yeah,” Yoongi said, various thoughts and further analyses of the dream buzzing in his mind. “Maybe.”
Namjoon was going to say something else but Yoongi’s phone vibrated and the stage manager materialized by their side at the same time, warning them that five minutes were left. Immediately, the staff began to double-check their microphones, fix their hairstyles, and make sure their make-up was still on.
Yoongi – while avoiding the make-up artist’s brush – glanced at his phone.
YOU [09:54pm]: don’t you have a performance tonight?
Confused, he frowned a little – earning a groan from the make-up artist – and responded.
YOONGI [09:54pm]: i do, i’m about to go on stage. why?
And just like that, he was worrying again. He seriously had a hard time maintaining his cool attitude that everyone assumed he had at all times because of you. He just needed constant reassurance that everything was okay with you because he couldn’t check for himself and that bothered him. He wanted to be there when you weren’t feeling well. He wanted you to share your worries with each other.
YOU [09:55pm]: oh. nevermind then, i just thought i heard someone in the house
He could feel his stomach drop as he read this even though the sensible part of his brain told him that it was probably nothing, just like you said. You two had creaky floors in your house that seemed to have their own personality – they just creaked whenever and wherever. It could have also been a gust of wind coming from the open window.
YOONGI [09:56pm]: close the windows, babe. it’s cold. i’ll be home soon. love you
“Hyung, we’re going,” Namjoon said, nodding his head in the direction of the elevating mechanism that was going to lift them to the stage. Then he stopped, noticing Yoongi’s shaky hands. “Everything alright? What happened?”
“Nothing,” Yoongi chose to say. There was no time to fret over something that could have just been your imagination. He had a performance right now. “Let’s go.”
Yoongi always felt like their performances only lasted for a moment. They just got on stage – the time stopped – and within a blink of an eye, he was already climbing off the stage, sweaty, slightly tired, but incredibly hyped.
Laughing at something Hoseok had just said, Yoongi got his phone out to let you know that he was going to be coming home after the finished the encore stage with the other artists. However, as soon as he unlocked his phone, he saw two missed calls from you and five texts that he hadn’t read. You must’ve been trying to reach him while he was on stage.
The adrenaline in his blood suddenly settled down and Yoongi quickly opened the chat with you to check what had happened.
YOU [09:57pm]: okay, good luck on stage!
YOU [10:02pm]: this is weird, i thought i closed the windows before i left but they’re all open. did you open them before leaving?
YOU [10:06pm]: yoongi? please don’t freak out but i think there’s someone in the house
YOU [10:08pm]: i called the police
YOU [10:08pm]: i love you please don’t worry
Feeling his throat close up, Yoongi didn’t understand how he could have not worried. You had just told him there was an intruder in the house and then disappeared. The last text message Yoongi received from you was twelve minutes ago.
Immediately, he shook the white, glittery jacket off his shoulders so he could put his plain jean jacket on.
“Whoa, what’s wrong?” Jin asked, noticing Yoongi’s frantic eyes as he dialed your phone number while attempting to change his stylist-picked stage shoes into his own shoes. “What’s the rush?”
Namjoon overheard this and stood up. “Hyung, what happened?”
“It’s Y/n,” Yoongi said, putting the phone to his ear and feeling the way his heartbeat frequency became five times faster than that of the signal on his phone, while he waited for you to pick up the call.
You didn’t and Yoongi felt all color drain from his face. Something had to happen to you while he was performing.
“Shit, I have to go,” he said, his voice low and tingling with fear.
“What? We have encore stage,” Jin said, glancing at Namjoon who wasn’t doing anything to stop Yoongi from going for the door of their changing room. “Yoongi!”
Namjoon still said nothing – he knew that trying to stop him when he looked like he’s seen a ghost would have been pointless – and Yoongi sprinted out of the changing room, running down the hallway and barely avoiding other idols who were just preparing to go on stage for the two-song encore. Yoongi wasn’t going to be there.
He may have put his work over a lot of things but your life wasn’t one of them. If you had indeed heard someone in the house and Yoongi had played it off by simply telling you to close the windows, he was never going to forgive himself. He needed to get to you. He needed to know what happened.
But hailing a cab in a street filled with people screaming at the sight of him wasn’t just problematic. It was nearly impossible.
He ended up having to wave at the people who saw him and began to take pictures of him – he hated fake-smiling at them but if he didn’t want this to blow up, he had to pretend everything was alright – while attempting to call his manager at the same time.
“Yoongi?” the manager’s confused voice picked up on the second ring. “Why are you calling? What happened?”
“I need someone to drive me to my house,” Yoongi said as quietly as he could, but still loud enough for the manager to hear through the excited screams outside. “My girlfriend said someone broke into the house. She called the police.”
If he had been someone else, there was no way he would have gotten out of that crowd of people by the venue unharmed, and then reached his house in the next ten minutes.
Probably for the first time in his life, Yoongi thanked the God that he was who he was. He had a whole team of people ready to escort him away from the crowd. He had a driver ready to take him home and a police car which joined their van about two blocks away from the venue, so no suspicions would arise.
While waiting for the van to reach his property, Yoongi tried to call you six more times but all calls went to voicemail. Your phone wasn’t turned off – that was promising – but you still weren’t picking up and Yoongi couldn’t calm his rapidly beating heart down.
He jumped out of the van as soon as the driver stopped outside of his house. He couldn’t see very well through the tinted windows inside of the vehicle, but he heard the police sirens. His house was surrounded by them. He couldn’t waste another second.
Running towards the gate, Yoongi called your name, ready to enter his front yard, until a police officer grabbed his arm, stopping him.
“Sir, please, you can’t go inside,” he said, trying to contain a wild Yoongi, who immediately pulled his arm out of the officer’s grip. “There’s an investigation going on.”
“That’s my house,” Yoongi said shakily. “My girlfriend was inside, is she—”
“Two intruders were reported inside of the house,” the officer informed him despite not really having any right to do so. He wasn’t an investigator working on this case, but he knew very well whom the house belonged to. Word traveled fast even between police officers. “They had weapons. The area is on lockdown.”
“Weapons?” Yoongi’s eyes widened. He thought he was truly going to pass out. “My girlfriend was inside!” he repeated. “Did you get her out? Where is she?!”
“Sir, please calm down, we are—”
“Y/n!” Yoongi’s voice cracked as he screamed your name, cutting the officer off and completely disregarding everything he’d just said by pushing the gate open and running towards his house.
“Sir!” the officer chased after him but due to the fact that he hadn’t expected him to run, he ended up hesitating for a good moment and, thus, giving Yoongi a good headstart.
Yoongi stopped right outside of his house, breathing heavily as he took in the number of police officers around him. There were at least three cars parked on his lawn and investigators were talking to each other by his porch. The policemen were walking around, guns at their sides, but Yoongi couldn’t see where you were.
“—no, actually. We think the intruders knew who the owner of the house is,” Yoongi overheard one detective say as he walked past him, looking for you. “They also had to know that he wasn’t going to be home tonight, that’s why they broke into—hey! You can’t be here!”
Yoongi knew the detective was addressing him but, evidently, he hadn’t realized that he was talking to Yoongi, the actual owner of the house they were just talking about. And so, suddenly driven by the new knowledge that these people broke into his house specifically because it was his house, Yoongi ran around the porch, his eyes frantically scanning every person in search of you.
“Y/n!” he called again, not ashamed of the desperation in his voice.
“Sir—”
“My girlfriend was inside of the house!” Yoongi turned around at the voice of a yet another police officer attempting to detain him. He couldn’t believe he was repeating this for the third time. “Did you get her out? Where is she? Are those men still inside?”
“Sir, please, calm down. We will get everyone out of the house safely,” the officer had an unnaturally calm voice when he spoke and it pissed Yoongi off.
But it was his words that almost made Yoongi throw the uniformed-man against the door of his police car and punch him. He had just told Yoongi that you weren’t safe yet.
“Are you saying she’s still in the house?!” Yoongi asked, clenching his fists. “She called you over twenty minutes ago, how could you not have gotten her out by now?! Is she inside of the house with these—the people who broke into it? The ones who have weapons?”
“They—um,” the officer clearly hadn’t expected Yoongi to already know this many details about this and he certainly wasn’t used to civilians talking to him in such a threatening tone. He must have been new. “There are armed men inside, that is true. But our officers have entered the house to escort any hostages out, sir.”
“They will fucking kill her!” Yoongi wasn’t really aware that he was yelling but he had a feeling the ambulance that had just pulled into his front yard might end up having to sedate him nevertheless. He wouldn’t have minded that at all, except he still hadn’t found you and it was this panic specifically that made him aggressive enough to look for you despite being told not to.
Yoongi was moments away from going into the house himself and the policeman probably noticed this because, placing a hand on Yoongi’s shoulder – that Yoongi immediately shrugged off – he tried to explain, “Sir, our officers are professionals. They will—”
“I fucking swear, if anything happens to—”
The door of the house suddenly opened and both Yoongi and the police officer he had been talking to whipped their heads to look. Two officers were helping your shaking body stay up as they walked you out of the door and Yoongi, as soon as he realized that the scared figure between two uniforms was you, immediately dashed in the direction of the front door.
“Y/n!” he wailed, running up the porch stairs and throwing himself at you before any of the officers could protest.
Another few police officers walked out of the door, escorting two handcuffed men to the closest police car. Out of the corner of his eye, Yoongi could see the intruders but he didn’t bother to turn his head to look. He couldn’t have cared less about them in that moment.
He wrapped his arms around you, not giving you a chance to say anything – and certainly not giving the officers nearby a chance to pull him away from you, either – but just listening to your shaky breaths.
“Yoongi…” you whispered then. “W-why are you here? Your performance—”
Yoongi’s heart broke as you mentioned the performance and his grip on you tightened. He couldn’t imagine how you were even able to think about his work when your life had just been in danger.
“Baby, no. I got here as soon as I saw your texts,” he told you. “The performance is over. I’m here with you. I’m so sorry I couldn’t get here earlier.”
He pulled away only to check on your face. The tears had stopped but your eyes were still red and puffy, and Yoongi swore he had already mentally prepared to strangle the two intruders with his own hands had you not spoken.
“You’re here now,” you said, your voice small. “It’s okay now.”
“I am here,” Yoongi nodded, bringing his thumb across your cheek to wipe the remaining tears away. “But it is not okay. They… these people came here because they knew it was my house. T-the weapons they’d supposedly brought… God, I don’t know what they would have done with them. I can’t imagine that. But it’s all my fault.”
“Yoongi,” you said, parting your lips in surprise. “No. It’s not your fault. You couldn’t have known—”
“You told me you heard something,” Yoongi continued. “I should have gotten home as soon as you said that but I didn’t. I ignored that and went on with the performance. Baby, I’m so sorry.”
Hearing his guilty voice and feeling how fast his heart was beating in his chest when he wrapped his arms around you again, you almost broke down in tears. Seeing him in so much pain over this hurt you much more than any of these intruders could have, even if they’d brought weapons.
You never blamed Yoongi for not being here when these men broke into the house, not even once. You were afraid, sure, but you weren’t certain if you were more afraid of what’d happen to you or how it’d affect Yoongi. You knew how anxious he was about the health of your relationship and about you, in general. You strived to give him as few reasons to worry as possible because you knew he’d drop everything and run to you.
Yoongi – despite being a workaholic – always prioritized love and family, even if he didn’t realize that he did. The way he was beating himself up right now was living proof of that.
“I love you,” you said, turning your head so you could gently kiss his cheek as he held you in his arms. “Please don’t blame yourself for this. I’m okay. We’re okay.”
But Yoongi still felt guilty. He could feel your love and forgiveness – even if you insisted there was nothing to forgive – but he couldn’t help himself. There you were, screaming for his help inside of the house, but he was busy being a different person on stage. It was exactly like the dream he had and he shuddered at this realization, clutching your body tighter in his arms.
“I’m not leaving you alone again, baby,” he promised in a whisper. “I love you so much.”

BTS REACTION
So… Hi everyone! This my first piece of writing, so yea, be nice lol.
They surprise you while you’re on tour (you’re a really well known idol)
Kim Seokjin
The entire stage was dark except for the single spotlight on me as I sang possibly the most emotional song on my album; ‘Endlessly’. It was obviously for Jin, my beautiful boyfriend of almost 2 years; about the way I loved him, about our future together, about how I wasn’t perfect, but perfect for him.
I finished the second chorus and closed my eyes not able to help thinking about Jin through the soft piano instrumental. I lightly rocked back and forth lost in his eyes that I wasn’t even looking at. I was probably missing him too much because I felt two strong arms wrap around my figure, a familiar head resting on my shoulder, wow I can even feel his touch now. Slowly turning around, I gasped at the sight of Jin’s closed eyes and worldwide handsome face on my shoulder he looks so real and just so goddamn perfect I’ve definitely lost it, if the fans hadn’t gone wild I would have actually thought I’d lost my mind.
“Jin?!” I squealed not realising it was straight into the microphone, Jin stayed in his position and lightly hummed in my ear, okay he is definitely real ohmygod. “Jin what are you doing here, wait how did you get here-?” He put a single finger on my lips, clearly I was babbling unable to contain my excitement I’m in Australia, what the heck did he just come all the way here???
“Shhh, I couldn’t wait 2 more weeks to see you, it’s been too long”
Min Yoongi
I was walking towards my dressing room, ready to change and go home after 3 hours of singing, dancing, bad jokes and a LOT of laughs. Although I love doing concerts, I must admit, by the end of them I’m too worn out to function.
I quickly bowed to the staff around, thanking them for their hard work as usual and stumbled into my dressing room. Taking off my leather jacket, I threw it on to the couch without looking around, my eyes were barely open, this is what 2 hours of sleep feels like I thought.
“Ow!” you spun around absolutely baffled by the slight of your boyfriend slowly getting up from the couch with sleepy eyes.
“Yoongi?!”
“After I flew 10 hours here and waited 3 hours for you, this is what I get? Jacket to the face?” he said holding up said jacket and the rubbing at where it hit him. Even though I had barely an ounce of energy left in me, I ran over to him immediately, practically collapsing in his arms; shooketh and excited but still too tired to move properly.
“I’m sorryyyyyyyy Yoonglessssss” my obviously half assed apology along with hysteric laughing earned a tired ‘whatever’ from him. I stayed still for a while, not wanting to do anything but lie in his arms for the rest of eternity. Just as I was about to drift off into sleep; Yoongi reached up and held my face in his music genius hands and gently placed a kiss on my forehead.
“Hey” he said and I grinned widely at his soft smile and sleepy eyes of course he would be sleeping in my dressing room after that 10-hour journey.
“Hi” I said burying my face in his neck and closing my eyes again.
“Ya! Don’t go to sleep her-”
“You should have come sooner.” Even though I cut him off mid-sentence, which he absolutely hates, I felt a gummy smile against my neck followed by a hum of approval.
“I should have, shouldn’t I?” It had only been 1 week since my tour began, what are we gonna do with each other?
Jung Hoseok
Being musicians and lovers at the same time Hobi and I had recorded a couple of songs together however, since I was on tour by myself, I couldn’t help but feel a little upset when singing a song in which his part was just left as half a minute of silence from my lips.
As his part of the song approached my smile started to fade, I knew I had to be strong for the fans since there wasn’t much more time left until the tour ended anyway you’re gonna see him again soon, just keep it together y/n I thought to myself.
I was about to mouth the silent lyrics when I heard someone singing Hoseok’s part, as a matter of fact I heard Hoseok singing Hoseok’s part I spun round to see my sunshine walking towards me with open arms and a blinding smile oh my god Jung-J-Hoseok-Hobi-Hope.
The excited screams from the fans were louder than they had ever been but somehow I couldn’t hear anything but the sound of his beautiful voice. I ran towards him at the speed of light and allowed myself to be enveloped in his strong embrace feeling the soft vibrations of his voice against my forehead.
He finished his line and looked at me adoringly, ready to sing our shared and final chorus but being Hobi, he didn’t start before screaming into the mic first.
“SURPRISE Y/N!!!!!!” wow he is the literal definition of perfection what did I do to deserve this angel ohmygod he dyed his hair black ohmygodohmygod OKAY CALM DOWN AND SPEAK but before I could even open my mouth, he turned towards the fans and screamed again.
“I think you’ve borrowed my jagiya for too long so after this song I’m taking her back” I have officially melted.
Kim Namjoon
One of the staff members had just come in to let me know I had 10 minutes left to go on stage. I quickly checked myself in the mirror to make sure I looked my absolute best, after all it was the final concert after which I could fly back home to my boyfriend who I had left alone for a little over 2 months. He’s not actually alone though, I mean he lives with 6 other guys, he’s probably been occupied.
The knock on the door pulled me out of my thoughts as I waited for someone to notify me of how long I had left, upon not hearing anything, I turned away from the full length mirror, walking towards the door, I opened it confused as to why whoever was on the other side wasn’t saying anything.
“Yes wha-” I was cut off as a tall figure lifted me off my feet and into a tight hug, the familiar scent flooded my senses and I realised what was happening Namjoon.
“I’m sorry I couldn’t wait any longer” did he really just apologise for making me the happiest girl on the planet? Namjoon wasn’t usually an outwardly clingy boyfriend so his words surprised me a little but I couldn’t help but smile at them, not admitting I absolutely loved this side of him.
“You just stole my line” I said hugging him back twice as hard, when he let out a slight grunt of pain I loosened my grip and we both stood staring at each other; his hands resting on my waist and mine on his neck. I thought if perfect moments exist, this tops all the charts.
“Y/N ON STAGE IN 2 MINUTES” I take that thought back… I gripped his shirt, all my strength concentrated in my fist obviously not wanting to let him go.
“AISH it’s okay it’s okay I waited this long already, I can wait another 2 and a half hours-” it seemed more like he was trying to convince himself rather than me, “-go blow that crowd away” he said kissing my temple and giving me the universal ‘Go get em tiger’ nod. I pouted and quickly pecked -or what I thought was ‘pecked’- his lips before running off.
“See you after the concert Joonie!!!” I said leaving him flustered with a bright red mark on his lips, yep it definitely takes more than a peck for lipstick to stain.
Park Jimin
(Before you read Jimin’s watch the first 35 seconds of this to understand what I’m talking about https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lc9lfT4L6T0 )
As a pop/hip-hop singer I had a good amount of ‘hype’ songs with intense choreography, which obviously took days and days to perfect unlike Jimin who could memorise choreo in about an hour or two. All through the first verse of the song I kept thinking about how Jimin would be able to learn it in seconds and do it a hundred times better than me, which inevitably led me to think about him in general and miss him even more.
Right before the chorus was about to start someone jumped out from within the stage and landed gracefully right in front of me, what just happened? But from one look at his blonde hair I already knew who it was. The moment he landed, he immediately started dancing to the music that blasted from behind my frozen figure. Is that…?
“KEEP SINGING JAGI” Jimin screamed, turning his head ever so slightly with his half-moon eye smile on full display. Yep that’s Park freaking Jimin and… he just jumped out from inside the goddamn stage and started dancing to the song I was just thinking he would be good at dancing to…wow.
“Jimin??!! OH MY GOD” I yelled back before going up next to him and dancing along with him. The fact that he was dancing to my song with my choreography but 100 times better than me was definitely something only he was capable of. The entire atmosphere changed and the energy from the fans tripled, but somehow all I could focus on was Jimin; the way he moved his body so smoothly to the rhythm, the way he mouthed the lyrics, the way he just looked, his presence alone was suddenly so breath-taking, have I really been dating this piece of art for 2 years?
The second the song ended I jumped into his arms, tightly wrapping my legs around his waist and of course he did his signature full body laugh in that exact moment causing the both of us to fall on the stage. From the sound of the crowd losing their minds alone, I realised that I fell right on top of Jimin. I tried to get off but Jimin grabbed my thighs and pulled me back down onto him, looking me directly in the eye.
“What did you eat? You look 10 times more beautiful than the last time I saw your face” I probably blushed really hard because he started laughing and pinched my cheeks lightly.
“Jajangmyeon…” I replied with the most genuine smile I had given in a while.
Kim Taehyung
I was missing my boyfriend like crazy and ever since my tour had begun, both of our schedules just got so packed, there was barely enough time to text let alone call. Right after singing the song I wrote for him, I felt especially needy, the only thing keeping me from actual depression was the sight of my ecstatic fans along the thought that I only had to wait 3 more weeks until I could see him again.
“Look at all your beautiful faces! Ah! Wow! So much beauty focussing just on me? I should go to jail for this” I said genuinely, my statement of course earned very loud ‘NO’ from them along with incoherent sentences telling me they don’t deserve me. No more like I don’t deserve all of your love I thought, here I am thinking about my boyfriend right in front of thousands of my adoring fans, who are the actual reason for all of my success, it almost felt like cheating. It was a well-known fact that I had one of the most beautiful fans in the whole world, maybe I just attract beautiful people… like Tae I thought ughhhh STOP THINKING ABOUT HIM.
“So what punishment should you receive for neglecting this beauty for 6 weeks?” A bright light shone on one of the high platforms on the stage which I didn’t even realise was there until I spun round and gasped, my heart skipping multiple beats at the sight of Kim Taehyung –the man I was trying not to think about- pointing to himself with the most adorable pout I had ever seen on a human being.
“TAE?!!” I barely managed to choke out, too over whelmed and awestruck by the current situation when a familiar song started playing and I saw all of the members enter the stage as the platform with my boyfriend began to lower. HOLY SHET!!! WHAT??? OMG HOBI, JOON, KOOK, YOONGS, CHIM, JINNIE!!!!!!! HOW ARE THEY ALL HERE AND TAE??? WTF IS HAPPENING?!
“Yo, yo girl, I wanna, I wanna tell you this, that you’re ma… miss right” Joon started singing and I immediately covered my mouth trying to hide the ginormous smile forming on my face, TALK ABOUT THROWBACK. Slight tears began to tickle eyes at the sight of my best friends stood around me singing. Tae finally reached the stage and started walking towards me, the timing as perfect as him, wow talk about elegant.
“Yes you’re my only girl, neoneun naege choego” he sang and immediately after, took me into his strong embrace, members still singing around us while the fans went wild. Apart from the sound of 6 beautiful voices all that could be heard was loud wolf whistles and it made me happy to think I had fans who supported my relationship and cheered me on rather than give him hate because of jealousy they were truly the best. Tae pulled away lightly and placed his forehead on mine, he gave me the most panty-dropping stare ever before moving his lips next to my ear.
“Next time you go for this long I’m gonna sue you”
Jeon Jungkook
The concert was finished, I stood at the front of the stage seeing the crying faces of my beloved fans. Although we had spent near enough 3 hours together, it was obviously not enough, it was never enough, even for me. These were the people who supported me, put their time, and money into me just because they believed in me; if I had the chance I would take them all out to dinner just to thank them for everything they’ve done for me.
“Did you all have a good time?” I asked grabbing a bottle of water, half out of breath from the recent dancing and singing.
“YES!!!” they all screamed back in union without any hesitation, this always put the widest, toothiest smile ever on my face, it just made me so happy to be able to be the person who brought joy and happiness in their lives even if just for a little while.
“Ah me too! I wish I could stay longer… maybe I can…should I stay?
I was expecting another loud ‘yes’ but this time they all stood silent; some covering their mouths others just staring with a blank expression. Furrowing my eyebrows, I was about to speak into the mic when a loud “NO” sounded through the speakers. I spun round, so fast my hair hit me in the face, quickly brushing it away, I finally understood the obscure reaction from my fans; there… near the exit of the stage… stood Jeon Jungkook. He was carrying what seemed to be all my bags with utmost ease and I definitely didn’t miss the way the tank top he was wearing made sure his muscles were on full display.
“You’ve already spent more than 2 months with them, that’s exactly one sixth of the time we’ve been together.” It took a second for me to fully come to terms with the fact that my boyfriend had just flown 10 hours to see me and also did he really just do math? I tried to make sense of his odd use of fractions when it hit me. It was today.
“Happy one year jagiya” Kookie said pulling out a massive bouquet of roses from behind his back, I was too shooketh to say anything and simply stood there dumbfounded. “Joon-hyung may have helped construct that last sentence” he said lightly scratching his head and giving me his signature bunny smile.
Jeon Jungkook… just voluntarily did math… for me… wow.
So yeaaaaa hope you all liked it, and if you want me to write more just send me an ask yayyy! Btw I’m Ash.

give vjinseok more love
((((me talking about how underappreciated these three are at 4am, where grammar doesnt exist and spelling is dumb. this is entirely my opinion but im pretty sure almost everyone can agree)))) being an army is hard. like, it's really fucking hard. you get to wake up in the morning and cry over seven men who still get hyped over receiving pokemon stuffies as prizes. that life is hard and it's probably where the rock bottom is, but whatever. being an army is harder when there's inequality going on around the group, screentime wise, line distribution wise, etc. this issue existed since 21 b.c.e and im here to finally speak my fucking mind for it. so bts has seven members, right? jungkook, jimin, jhope, suga, jin, tae, and namjoon. anyway, we all know that jikook are the main and lead vocalists of the group so it's very predictable that they get a lot of attention considering it's unavoidable to give them screentime since, you know, they're technically 50% of whatever the hell we're on about, whether it's about a song's line distribution or an mv's screentime. now, obviously there are the three rappers who dominate everything, be it an mv or whatnot. i mean, jesus, joonie walks in with this hard presence and he's literally gonna start owning the video. thats it. so we get that jikook is well known and very appreciated, right? suga and joon are also automatically given attention becsuse these two are powerful when it comes to rap. now, let's just focus on hoseok, tae and jin. let's start with our angel hobi. now, hope is definitely not underrated. we all know that his stage presence is very powerful. he's never not involved. however, the reason why i didn't group him with his fellow rappers is because, let's be real, jhope is not a rapper. he is not a rapper. he is a person who raps. according to jackson wang—tnx jackson tnx got7 woohoo—there's a complete difference between these two and i think u got it already. jhope is not underappreciated, his skills are. first of all, he came into the idol world with dancing the only skill in hand. we all know that he's never an amateur. he's always been a pro at dancing however when you're in a group u cant just fucking dance. you need to use your lips too and hope here has no experience on that. if bighit made him debut as a part of the vocal line, it could've been better as we all know that hobi has always dreamt of becoming a singer even as a child and his high note on the thot ver of n.o is enough to say that he may not be as good as jungkook but he's gr8 at it too. howeverrrrrrr he's not put as a vocalist. he's placed in the fucking rap line. no, im not saying he's bad as a rapper because he's not (ehem outro wings ehem). but if u place yourself in his shoes back when he became a trainee for most likely dancing and rapping, thats hard shit. hobi has no experience in rapping. but guess what? he fucking killed it. he slays every rap he gets. he spits fire in every cypher there is and yall telling me that he's not good? hell no go home in conclusion, for the fuckers who keep disregarding jung hoseok's abilities, back up because golden hyung can sing, dance and rap and i s2g if you still sleep on him ill choke u next is v. kim taehyung kim **that introduction still kills me every time** now before anything else, tae is not underrated. he's very popular actually. he's popular to armys and to his fellow idols as well. i assume this is because he has gr8 looks and he's very friendly and what a precious child amirite so why did i group him here? becAUSE BIGHIT THATS WHY. now, bighit is not a bad company. in fact it's a great company, really considerate to their boys all. i mean the most we can say is that at least it's not sm bc you feel me? ye anyway, the funny thing is everyone thinks that v is in an ok position because he's pretty and everyone loves him. YES tae is beautiful and YES hes lovable but we need to realize that to be recognized for your looks is ridiculous when they do it while ignoring your talent. taehyung is well known already but people also need to know his skill too. this is almost the same as hobi's story. let's get back to the trainee days in which taehyung literally came from a middle class fam and signed up for bighit without having a clue on what he could do. remember that he was inexperienced when it came to dancing, singing, and obviously rapping (but let's let him live for a little). his pretty face has always been pretty, but u cant debut without offering anything else can you? however, as inexperienced as he was, taehyung has talent. he had potential that is now proven talent. so what i dont really understand is why they didnt give this child the position to be a lead vocalist or even a main vocalist, much more fair distributed lines. the old eras—the hardcore gang bad boy wannabes concept—actually stars v a lot—ehem war of hormone, spine breaker, boy in luv, danger ehem—because they used his hard and deep ass voice. but ever since run era came, bc i believe thats where bts dropped the hard look, he barely got lines. i understand that his voice is different compared to others as the other four vocalists—including jh now bc he finally debuted as a vocal—are tenor whereas v has baritone however they can actually use his deep ass voice in great use. like in let me know—tnx min yoongi for this amazing song—, hold me tight, spring day, house of cards, love is not over and more of their ballads, it's shown how talented kim taehyung is because of his capability. not to mention, stigma proved that his voice can reach great ranges too and that goddamn falsetto stjll gets me everytime i havent even started on how sharp his moves are but i think everyone has gotten over that little issue that he should be a part of the dance line so in conclusion, taehyung is a precious beagle who's very talented and amazing that needs to be more appreciated for what he can do rather than just for his face bc nO lastly, sockjin hahahaha now when i became an army he caught my eye a lot bc of fire and he has an astonishing face. jin is a very beautiful person and just like tae, he's almost friends with everyone however, if someone is underrated, jin is your guy. now lets give this guy some slacks because he came into this world without knowing what he can do, just like v. he came without having no experience in dancing nor singing. he has passion for acting apparently but we'll get to that l8r. anyway what he could only offer is how beautiful he looks. now, first of all. let's all be honest that jin is not the best singer in the group. however he's not bad either. in fact, when i watched their mr removed, he's more stable than jimin and v and to sing with that much stability is impressive enough. i assume that jin doesnt hold on to talent but his potential is so great it's so large and it can actually drive him further. jin is always appreciated for how strong he is as a visual but never for how stable and smooth his voice is and that is absolutely rubbish. remember that he's a person who entered this world without any experience and yet here he is, breaking records on billboards and shit, and you're still sleeping on him? the thing is, bts is popular enough but jin isnt, bts is known but jin isnt and as someone who stans every member, this hurts. bts isnt just rm or jungkook. i have nothing against those two, but i present u kim seokjin here. he's full of potential. he can shine so bright if only there's an actual opportunity waiting for him. the reason why he isnt appreciated is because the company doesnt really give him much chance to show what he can do. yes admittedly he's not the best singer there is but how can someone improve when they dont give him the opportunity to improve? i dont need to give an example on w/c song has barely jin because lbr almost every song has barely jin. in addition, jin is a visual and yet his screentime is so little. i know that i shouldnt give a shit on the visual thing but if this guy isnt recognized for his position in singing, why wont u recognize him as a visual either? i understand that there are a lot of mvs that actually show him a lot—bst, boy in luv, spring day—but do u think this is enough? do u think that this is fair to him? jin is a 25 year old man. he's not naive. although he laughs it off whenever he's being ridiculed, I'm sure that he somewhat feels sad sometimes because of this. understand that this man is not just here for entertainment. understand that we cant only appreciate him for his jokes and awkwardness, that he's not just here to make us happy through the stunts they pull to give comedy. understand that he's not just the mom of this group. understand that he's probably gone through so much training to improve himself and yet get so little in return. understand that there's more to kim seokjin than what meets the eye. jin is not bias nor my bias wrecker but i have this special affection for him that makes me want to protect him at all cost. for the last part, the acting thing. now, im very happy for v for debuting as an actor because he slayed being hansung in hwarang. i will never say that he doesnt deserve that because he does. hes amazing at acting and i hope he get more solo projects since the drama. meanwhile, i look forward to jin having his own drama. i dont think it's necessary for him to have one now but hopefully it happens soon. jin has great potential in acting and considering this is his former dream, im sure that theres still passion for it somehow. in conclusion there is more to jin that we haven't seen because of the lack of opportunity given to him and he deserves so much more recognition to whar he gets now. this doesnt mean that im bias to anyone, okay? i adore each seven members equally. i dont want to raise v and bring down jungkook or raise jin and bring down jimin. no. whatever jikook gets at this moment, they deserve every bit of it. all i want is for them to get equal love. ////end

Pairing: Mark Lee and OC
Genre: Fluff
Anon: smtrainee from canada ('99) & ceo holds a big meeting to introduce you. you and mark become best friends & he makes you call him oppa althought you're like 2 months younger i don't want to be too specific so you can take it from there :) LOTS OF FLUFF PLEASE AND PLEASE MAKE IT LONGGG
Yesterday, becoming an SM trainee was a dream. Today, it became reality. Never in a blue moon did you imagine you would really be standing in the legendary SM practice room full of bright lights and fake sky curtains.
You paced around the room anxiously as you waited for the ceo of SM to take you to an introductory meeting. Before long, Lee Soo Man joins the quiet room with you. Skipping the long talks, he guides you upstairs to the conference rooms. Everything was surreal as you walk pass framed albums and large posters of the successful company artists. Opening two large wooden doors, he steps aside and allows you to enter first.
The large oval table settled in the middle of the room is tightly surrounded by unfamiliar faces. As you scan the faces closely, you realize that these are also new trainees like yourself, but among the them, were idols as well, NCT 127 to be exact. Lee Soo Man gently gestures you to stand at the head of the table in order to introduce yourself to the rest of the trainees and NCT.
After a brief introduction, he follows with a speech about how you were all picked because of outstanding talents. His words turn into a dull buzz as you distract yourself from the lecture. It was beyond belief that it was your first day here and you’re already in the same room as NCT. Trainees rarely meet other idols until they’re ready to debut.
You snap back to reality when Lee Soo Min hands out folders to each trainee. Inside held information for dorms as well as schedules. He brings attention to the bright yellow sheet tucked to the left pocket. The paper had 9 boxes, each box had 6 names, 5 of the trainees and one bold, of an NCT member’s. Addressing his goodbyes, Lee Soo Min leaves the NCT members to take over.
Upon Taeyong’s request, you all separate into the corresponding groups. Checking the paper a second time, you find the name in bold in your box. Mark is the leader for your group. Your group, aside from Mark, consisted of all Korean girls who seem to know one another. You quietly tail your group to the hallway with Mark leading.
“Alright, hey everyone! Welcome and congratulations on beginning your journey with SM Entertainment. My name’s Mark Lee and I’m part of NCT and I will be you guide for the next few days. We should probably go around and introduce ourselves but I was thinking we should save that for lunch. In the meantime, I’ll take you guys around on a tour!” His bright personality displayed on TV is nothing compared to real life, he seemed like a genuinely sweet guy and you were glad you were assigned with him considering the fact he was one of the few members who could speak English.
After long hours of walking around the company, you were finally able to sit down for lunch. Naturally, the other girls in your group paired up and talked privately among themselves, leaving you on the end on the table across from Mark. Although the cafeteria was loud as voices bounced on one another, the silence between you and Mark was killing.
You quickly finished your meal as Mark silently poked at his. The table vibrated as he bounced his left leg, you took that as boredom or maybe even nervousness but you felt the same way. You watched as individuals walked around the room until the clearing of Mark’s throat caught your attention.
“So where are you from?” You looked back at Mark to find his eyes fully focused on you with curiosity.
“I’m from Canada!” You responded. You watched as his eyebrows raise and his mouth form into a smile.
“No way! Me too!” Lunch passed by in a blink of an eye as you two connected through surprising similarities. You guys recalled similar childhood memories of the shared country and through a matter of time, you finally felt comfortable.
It’s been months since orientation and although you spent most of your days with the other trainees, you felt the closest to Mark. Due to the clash of schedules, it was rare to run into him which forced the two of you guys to rely on texting one another.
Now that new years day is coming up, SM allows every idol and trainee to take a couple days off to go and visit their families. NCT 127 is wrapping their promotions in two days which fortunately gives Mark time to reconnect with you.
Unfortunately for you both, your parents live in Canada, making it difficult to visit them, especially when only given a couple days and the flight there alone would take up the break itself. That leaves you to have to spend new years by yourself but because Mark is staying in Korea as well for break, you two decided having company is better than none!
.
.
.
You shuffled over to your dorm door to invite Mark in from the cold. Your shared dorm was completely empty for the other girls left for their hometowns. You had the new years countdown on your TV to make the vibe somewhat celebratory to distract the homesickness.
“I brought some snacks!” Mark beamed as he placed two large grocery bags on the kitchen counter. The two of you guys instantly hopped on the counter and devoured the goods. He began sharing events over the promotion period and before you knew it, the tv announced 10 minutes to countdown.
Overtime, you considered Mark your best friend. He was the only one you felt safe to talk to and spend time with. He obviously felt the same way considering the fact he shared a story about the time he clogged the toilet and pissed the members off. You two never felt the need not to share secrets and show your real personalities.
Although that’s what you believe, Mark was off tonight. After he shared his stories causing you to burst into giggles, he would always glance quickly at you and then look away. When you guys sat on the sofa to watch the new years performances, he would sit at the very end of the sofa, hugging the leg instead of sitting by you.
As much as you hope this isn’t the reason, you felt like he didn’t want to spend the night with you. Maybe he was homesick? Or wanted to spend it with some friends from school? Or maybe he just wanted to be alone.
You couldn’t help but feel guilty, you were the one who brought it up and he agreed to it. Knowing him, he can never afford to say no, he can’t bare hurting others.
“Hey, are you alright?” You asked Mark as you watch him distract himself with his phone instead of watching the tv.
“Yeah, what makes you think I’m not?” He asked in confusion as you watch him closely.
“Just making sure.” You said, if you kept digging in deeper, you knew you would make him mad or even get yourself heated.
The next few minutes consisted of you two sitting in silence. When it comes to Mark and you, silence never lasted for more than a minute. There was always something to talk about, from stories during practice to random shower thoughts.
“Do you want to go on the balcony for the fireworks? There’s only two more minutes.” You asked, hoping he’d agree. He silently nods and follows behind you. You lean against the railing and listen to your neighbors talk loudly as they got ready for the celebration.
“Hey, Mark-” He turns to you with a straight face as you attempt to analyze the cold vibe brewing from him.
“Oppa.” He cuts you off. He’s finally talking again after almost an hour of silence and it didn’t even make sense.
“What?”
“Call me oppa.” He ordered while maintaining the straight face.
“Wait what?” You awkwardly chuckle, this was beyond out of the ordinary. He’s always been okay with you just calling him Mark.
“Just do it.” His face remained stone. Your neighbors from below are shouting numbers as the new year is approaching. You hesitate in confusion before obliging and whisper:
“Mark oppa?” As the individuals beside, above, and below you guys shout the final number and fire works begin exploding, Mark leans down and captures your lips.
You were so pleased with his actions but so confused by his those leading up to it. He wraps one arm around your waist and uses his other hand to tilt your chin. You both break the kiss and simultaneously step backwards to avoid eye contact.
“Sorry.” He follows the apology by clearing his throat.
“No, it’s okay.” You obtain the courage to look him in the face and you watch as he looks left and right while mouthing words to himself.
“I like you.” He quickly states and watches as you give him a smile as a sign of shared feelings. Taking that as a ticket to continue, he clears his throat again.
“I’m sorry, I just don’t know what to do. And I-I have been trying to ignore those feelings and when you invited m-me over, I just tried not to think of it. And I don’t know, I just couldn’t help it I guess? Every time you laughed or giggled, I didn’t know what to do so I started ignoring you. I-I didn’t know what else to do and then I just kissed you a-and I’m s-sorry, fuck-”
You were fully amused at the stammering boy in front of you. In the movies, they get the viewers hyped on the idea of a boy smoothly confessing but you can’t help but enjoy this clumsy confession instead. It gave you another reason to fall heads over heals for Mark.
“Hey!” You cut him off as panic rushes through his eyes, causing you to break into a fit of laughter. Losing your train of thought through the amusement, you shake your head and walk towards him. Placing both of your hands on his cheeks, you lean up and kiss him back to give him your response.
Despite the spontaneous confession and slight awkwardness lingering around, you were all smiles to the fact you ended the year with your best friend and started the new year with your now so boyfriend.
