note: um second oneshot hope this one's good gaaah
"hey, doll. whatcha' reading?" you glanced up to see bucky, who then plopped down next to you on the couch in the common room. "it's called 'shadow and bone'. it's a novel that's turning into a netflix series in like a month," you smiled at the super soldier, lifting up your book a little to show him the cover. his eyebrows raised at the information, lips tugging into a knowing smirk.
"yes, bucky, i'll watch the series with you." you rolled your eyes playfully at him. ever since he officially became an avenger and moved into the tower with the rest of you, you've been helping him 'get with the times' —as sam likes to call it— just as you did steve a few years prior.
steve had told his best friend that you were the best at stuff like this. after all, you were the youngest avenger. and you had a lot of free time on your hands; having no school since you were pretty much the only one besides vision who could compete with tony's or bruce's intelligence.
so really, school wasn't mandatory for you according to tony. at least, after you had asked him if you could just not attend and he cracked ten seconds after you pulled the puppy dog eyes.
you also had significantly less trainings than the rest of the team. this one wasn't because you were an expert on the field or something —well, you were, but so were the rest of the team but they still had almost daily trainings while you had half the amount they did— this was because you had cap wrapped around your tiny little finger.
and as for the team, they couldn't even be mad about it because if they were in the captain's position, they would probably be the same. everyone just loved you too much.
"do you mind if i turned on the tv?" bucky asked, afraid that you wouldn't want background noise while you were reading but obviously you didn't mind so you shook your head as you continued to read. not long after, you closed your book with a bookmark between the pages you stopped at before shoving in into bucky's hands and running up into your room to quickly grab your blanket.
he watched you run out of the common room in confusion before chuckling when he saw you run back in looking tiny with a huge, fluffy blanket in your arms. you went back to your spot on the couch next to him, spreading the blanket over both your laps, bucky smiling fondly as he watched you fix it before turning to him. "comfy?" you asked and he nodded, giving you back your book as you cuddled up to him. he smiled down at you and wrapped an arm around you while you leaned against his chest.
"what's this? movie night without me?" you two looked up at the owner of the voice and saw sam walking in, making his way to the kitchen, probably to make himself some coffee. "what movie are you guys watching?" he asked, leaning against a pillar to look at the tv, trying to figure out what movie was playing.
"actually, only bucky's watching the movie—it's mean girls, by the way—and i'm just reading my book." you told sam without looking at him, lifting your book up high to show him before lowering it back down to continue reading it.
"barnes, what are you doing watching a movie while y/n is reading? she won't be able to focus with all that background noise, shut it off." sam told him off, now back in the kitchen to make his coffee. you shook your head at the man's antics. "sam, it's fine. i told him it was okay,"
"of course you did, you're too sweet to say no to anyone." he quipped back, now standing nearby, watching the tv too, seemingly interested in the movie playing. you only rolled your eyes playfully at him before going back to the book. after a few minutes of him just standing, bucky spoke up. "just sit down if you want to watch the whole movie, birdbrain."
and sit he did. on your other side, snuggling comfortably under your blanket after putting his now empty mug on the coffee table. this caused bucky to huff as he pulled the other end of the blanket which led to them having a tug-of-war over the blanket, you unfortunately stuck in the middle of it. deciding that it was too distracting to read while squished between two grown men who were also fighting for the blanket, you finally closed your book.
"sam, can you help me put this on the coffee table?" you handed sam your book and he immediately took it, stretching his body forward to place it on the coffee table. with the book out of the way, you could finally settle comfortably and the blanket was now shared between the three of you equally. not long after, your head was back against bucky's chest with his arm around you while your legs were over sam's lap under the blanket, one of his arms resting over it above the blanket. if it had been someone else doing that to sam, they probably would've had their legs chopped off already.
"movie night and you didn't invite me?" you chuckled at the question by the newcomer, tony, finding it funny how sam said almost the exact same prior to him. "you're welcome to join us, tony." you offered kindly, to which he replied with a small chuckle.
"i'm just kidding, cupcake. i came up for a drink and a little snack but that's it, i have stuff to finish down in the lab." you nodded understandingly, turning back to the screen in front of you.
"hey, stark, while you're there can you grab me a bottled water from the fridge?" bucky asked him. "oh yeah can you grab me chips from the snacks cabinet too?" sam added.
"you guys have legs for a reason, get them yourselves, i'm not your maid," tony sassed and you bit back a chuckle. bucky and sam then decided to rock-paper-scissors the situation to decide who had to get up and get the water and chips. bucky ended up losing and he begrudgingly got up and came back quickly with his water and sam's chips.
shortly afterwards, tony approached the three of you on the couch, with a juice box and a small bag of pretzels; your go-to movie snack. "here you go, cupcake." he handed them to you and you accepted them happily, beaming at him while he ruffled your hair.
bucky and sam shared a look of disbelief at tony's actions. "what gives, man? we asked for stuff and you didn't want to do it but y/n gets her stuff without even having to ask for it?" sam complained.
"that's because y/n's my baby. now shut up and let her watch the movie in peace." he scolds before leaving the common room, leaving the two men to huff in annoyance. it soon washed off though when you laughed out loud at a scene and they returned back to normal, loving the sound of your contagious laughter.
when the movie ended, it was already late and you had fallen asleep on an also asleep bucky. sam took a look at you and chuckled. he slowly removed the blanket from over himself and you, gently scooping you up into his arms and taking you back into your room, laying you down on your bed. he noticed the lack of blanket on your bed and remembered the blanket you brought down to the common room. he opened your closet for a spare blanket, retrieving it before covering you with it, tucking you in. "night, kiddo." he whispered, kissing your forehead before leaving the room.
-
next morning came and you groggily stretched, noticing that you were in your room. last you remembered was falling asleep mid movie. you deduced that it was most likely either bucky or sam who carried you back to bed. you went to your closet to grab work out clothes since you had training today, before realising what day today was. wanda's breakfast day. you quickly ran to the bathroom and got ready.
once you were done, you dried your hair and left your room, practically bouncing with excitement when you thought of what wanda probably made for breakfast. the week had been a bad breakfast week since everyone who had so far been tasked breakfast duty, sucked at cooking. the only good cook of the team was wanda, explaining your overexcitement.
before you could get far though, you slammed into a solid body, being caught by your wrists before you could fall. "be careful, lady y/n!" a deep voice spoke and you look up, a large smile on your face before you jumped happily, taking the man into a big hug. "thor! you're back!"
he laughed, returning the hug, you almost disappearing due to his big frame before you let go of each other. "where were you headed to so eagerly?"
"it's wanda's breakfast day, thor! i haven't had a decent breakfast all week because no one in this tower except wanda can cook to save their lives. come on, big guy!" you cheered, trying to get onto his back for him to give you a piggy back to the kitchen but he was too high for you to reach. he watched your attempt in amusement before bending down so you could get on his back. you gratefully got on, lightly patting his back and dramatically pointing ahead of you. "to the kitchen we go!"
when you two arrived in the kitchen, clint and wanda were talking as the latter made breakfast. thor's booming laughter echoed through the room as he zoomed with you on his back, laughing your heart out. "we have arrived to our destination, my lady." clint and wanda turned to you, adoring smiles on their faces when they heard you giggling uncontrollably.
"i thought you had more important things to do that you couldn't even walk 10 feet to grab me a spoon." clint raised his eyebrows at the demigod. "yes but y/n needed a ride so i provided her one." thor gave your hair a ruffle before he left the room, going to do what he initially left the kitchen for before you managed to get him to bring you back there.
"morning, kiddo." clint ruffled your hair right after you just fixed it, causing you to glare at him before fixing it again. "morning," you grumbled, sitting down next to him.
"morning, y/n!" wanda greeted, placing your plate of perfectly made blueberry pancakes with extra blueberries neatly placed on top, butter in the middle of it with maple syrup dripping down. your mouth watered. had it really been that long since you had a good breakfast or was it just because it was wanda's creation? or was it both? "here ya go, bubs. your favourite," she grinned at you, placing your glass of orange juice beside the plate.
"thanks, wands! i love you!" you thanked her, already beginning to dig into your breakfast.
"what the heck? you gave me burnt pancakes and didn't let me have extra blueberries because you said there already were some in the pancakes," clint whined to wanda from beside you, watching you eat happily.
"that's because the extra blueberries were for y/n, she loves them. and about the burnt pancakes...yea i just didn't want to give her burnt ones. look how happy she looks," the two turned to you, looking at your cheeks being filled up, making you look like an adorable squirrel.
"okay, fair point." clint slumped down on his chair, continuing to look at you fondly, like a proud father.
-
after breakfast, you made your way down to the training room where steve, nat and peter were training. when you entered, peter immediately noticed, waving and you from the treadmill with a huge smile on his face. nat, having just flipped steve over her her shoulders, smiled at you. "hey, bub." you smiled back at her and steve who struggled to give you a wave but did it anyways from his position.
"alright, y/n, you can warm up and run 2 miles first before we start." steve says once he had gotten up from his position on the ground. you mocked a salute before walking to the treadmills.
"what?! how is that fair? i'm running 5 miles!" peter exclaimed from beside you just as you started your run. "you're enhanced, peter. if anything, it's unfair for y/n/n. actually, that's right, it is unfair for her. y/n/n, you can go ahead and just do a mile."
peter's jaw dropped at this, his mouth opening and closing like fish out of water. "b–but.."
"get back to work, peter. once you're done, we'll start both your and y/n's training." the boy only huffed in annoyance, focusing back on his run while you smirked, internally cheering in victory.
-
"boy, that was tiring!" you dramatically plopped back onto the mat, limbs spread out as you tried to catch your breath. it had been a gruesome 3 hours of training and you were beat.
"y/n/n, get up. sam, bucky and clint's gotta train soon," nat tells you after steve and peter left and you were still sprawled out on the ground. "but i'm tired!" you whined childishly.
"y/n, if you don't get up, i'm gonna leave you here to be trampled on by the boys when they train." nat nagged, hands on her hips as she made a disapproving face at you.
"no you're not. you're gonna carry me to my room so i can shower and sleep soon." you tell her, eyes already closed as the fatigue washed over you. after a few seconds of silence, you heard her sigh out loud before you felt her crouching down beside you.
"get on my back in five seconds or i'll leave you." she threatened. you quickly opened your eyes, grabbing your small towel and water bottle before getting on nat's back. she mumbled something about you being lucky that she loves you or else she really was going to let sam, bucky and clint trample on you.
"what's wrong with her?" you could hear steve's concerned voice asking nat when you two reached—you assumed— the lobby. you were too tired to keep your eyes open so you left them closed while your arms were around nat's neck.
"nothing," you heard nat reply as she walked you both into the elevator. "kid's just too lazy to get up and walk on her own so she made me carry her." you internally rolled your eyes. she made it seem like she was forced to do it when everyone clearly knew she would do anything when it came to you.
you heard steve chuckle before nat started walking again, probably towards your room. you heard the door open and nat finally let you down, prompting you to open your eyes.
"do you want some food after you shower?" she questioned as you looked through your closet for comfy clothes to change to before ultimately deciding on cow print pyjama pants and an oversized tee you stole from steve.
"i'm good, nat, thanks. i just wanna take a nap." as if on cue, you yawned right after. "okay, bub. you'll have to get up later for dinner and movie night though, okay?" she reminded and left the room after you replied an 'okay' back.
-
when you were woken up a few hours later, it was by an annoying scream and a body bouncing on your bed. "y/n/n, wake up! it's dinner! mr stark ordered your favourite!"
you groaned, putting your pillow over your head to block out peter's annoying voice. "come on, y/n/n wake up! you haven't eaten since breakfast and it's movie night tonight!"
"okay, okay, i'm up. you can shut up now, pete." you grumbled crankily. it was quiet for a few seconds before peter yelled out once again. "wake u–"
he never got to finish though because you kicked him off the bed. "i said i'm up, dude." you then sat up, stretching before getting up to wash up, ignoring peter who was on the floor rubbing the side of his head which hit your lamp when he fell off your bed. he then got up, deciding to tidy your bed up a bit while he waited for you to finish washing up so that you two could go down together.
-
"is that my shirt?" was the first thing you heard when you walked in with peter. the team were all sitting, eating your food from your favourite place. "i uh, maybe?" you answered sheepishly, sitting down next to sam and peter settling down on your other side. "i've been looking for that shirt since forever."
"aw, let her have it, steve! she looks better in it than you do, she looks so adorable!" wanda screeched, absolutely adoring how tiny you looked in cap's enormous shirt. she continued to gush over you, even taking out her phone at one point to snap a picture of you. you chuckled at her antics, proceeding to eat your dinner while the team talked.
after dinner, everyone slowly made their way to the common room for team movie night. you guys collectively agreed to watch 'white chicks' after steve revealed that he hadn't watched it.
you sat down next to bruce, who gave you a tired smile when you smiled at him. he must've been working in the lab all day, you thought. halfway through the movie though, a bathroom break was called by tony. a few took the chance to get up and get snacks while you told bruce you were gonna sit closer to the tv since you couldn't hear properly with sam and bucky squabbling over every little thing they could. you could even hear them arguing in the kitchen at the moment over hot chocolate.
when tony came back, you told the two bickering children in the kitchen that you were starting the movie again. not long after you started, you could hear them still bickering, except now they were closer, probably back in their seats. poor bruce, you thought. you escaped the two but he was still stuck next to them.
meanwhile in the back, sam and bucky were still busy fighting over the hot chocolate. you paid them no mind as you focused on the movie, having not watched it in a hot minute.
"dude, i made this for myself! go make your own hot chocolate!" bucky whisper-yelled, moving his mug away from sam's reach when the latter tried to reach for it. "you took my snack now i'm gonna take your drink so it's fair!" sam countered.
before the two of them could stop it, the steaming hot chocolate spilt. not on the carpet, but onto the doctor whose patience had already been running thin with the two quarrelling next to him for the past hour.
his face slowly turned green, clearly a sign that he was fighting so that the other guy didn't come out. the team stared in horror, preparing for a fight to break out with the big green monster.
you, being the closest to the tv, didn't notice this all happening as you happily watched the movie that you couldn't hear properly for the past hour.
you laughed joyously when your favourite scene came on, trying to control your giggles that were starting to get louder and louder. bruce was currently hunched down, trying to even his breathing. but when he heard your laughter, he immediately looked up at you.
the team panicked, thinking that you could be a target for hulk since you just attracted attention to yourself. they were about to get up to protect you as they looked at bruce apprehensively, when the doctor smiled, the green on his neck slowly, but surely disappearing.
the team looked at each other in confusion and bruce smiled weakly at them. "sorry about that. i'm...i'm gonna move up and sit with y/n." he got up and made his way to you. you smiled when you saw him. "got tired of them too?" you joked and he nodded, making himself comfortable next to you.
you nodded and turned your attention back to the tv. it was clear you were oblivious to whatever just happened and the team couldn't help but chuckle at the situation. you really just unknowingly calmed down the hulk.
the team didn't know if you were aware of how much power you actually held over them. nevertheless, you were their little baby and they were willing to do anything for you.

Hello! Could you write an imagine with MJF and the reader who is the daughter of Triple H and Stephanie? Maybe she confronts CM Punk for everything he has said about her family and now about MJF and the situation gets out of control and Max is there to protect his girl and end super fluff
Had to come back from my mini writing break to slap something together for you. I hope it's okay, I've never really written anything like this before and also I'm as shit at writing conflict as I am with getting into it irl (aka very shit.) I hope you like it!
Triple H and Stephanie McMahon are your parents. Safe to say you aren't afraid to stand up for what you believe in, and you definitely aren't afraid to stand up for your boyfriend, MJF.
Typed out on my phone, apologies for any errors. The reader accidentally ended up being gender neutral just fyi ☺️ the jokes about the turtleneck are from Archer (my beloved)
Moderate swearing, mentions of CM Punk.
You were a McMahon, if there was one thing you had it was balls.
Max loved that about you, not that he’d ever told you that. You were never afraid to say what you thought or stand up for what you believed in, hell, you were the kid of Stephanie McMahon and Triple H, the owners of WWE and yet you still chose to date him.
The pair of you were the constant top story in the wrestling media but you didn’t care. You came to as many shows as you could, you openly spoke about what AEW did better than WWE and much to Max's delight; you were not afraid to tell TK to his face when he was being stupid. He was completely enamoured with your fierceness.
Max supposes he should’ve seen it coming. You can’t have a loyal spitfire for a partner and not expect them to verbally smackdown someone like CM Punk.
~
You’d never really had a problem with Punk before tonight. Sure, he was a bit of a dick when you were a kid and he left without a word but you understood. Everything he said about WWE was true. You might be a McMahon but you knew right from wrong and you hadn’t hesitated to voice it then and you weren’t hesitant to voice it now. But costing your boyfriend his big moment was way over the line and you decided to make it your business.
You knew Max was disappointed, his return had been months in the making. Meticulously planned to the second and all it took to make him old news was the new AEW champion, his idol, opening his big mouth in a press conference a few minutes after the show.
You were furious and no matter how many times Max tried to grab your attention, tried to get you to leave with him, you refused. You had some choice things to say to the so called second city saint.
“Mac,” Max pulls your attention away from the closed door you were pacing in front of with the nickname he’d teasingly called you the first time he met you that had just stuck. “C’mon, I’m tired, I just want to go home and I don’t want you to fight with him.” He mutters, squeezing your hand.
“I just want to talk to him then we can go.” You reassure him, pressing a quick kiss to his hand before letting go. He sighs but accepts.
The pair of you waited outside his locker room. You, pacing angrily while Max sat on a production box kicking his feet out, still dressed in the full black ensemble. His mask and his scarf tossed beside him. You didn’t have to wait long before the AEW champ rolled from his room and you didn’t hesitate, pouncing the second he opened the door.
“You're a real piece of work, you know that right? I’ve never met anyone so willing to call everyone else an asshole while being the biggest asshole currently walking the earth.” You hiss fiercely. Max rolls his eyes. He knew he shouldn’t have believed you when you said you just wanted to talk.
“You haven’t taken enough from Max already? Now you have to take away his big moment too? What, couldn’t handle Max and Tony’s little surprise after you won? Had to find a way to make this all about you again?”
Punk scoffs, bringing his suitcase to a stop beside him. “This has nothing to do with you, Sugar and it definitely has nothing to do with your silly little boyfriend. Get out of my way.”
“Yeah, I don’t think so, I don’t think I’m going anywhere until you give Max an apology.”
“You are way out of line right now Little Mac.” He sighs as if you are nothing more than a childish nuisance, making a point to use the nickname he’d given you in 2008 when you’d been a ten-year-old glued to his leg while he carted you around indulgently.
“Don’t call me that. You don’t get to call me nicknames like we’re still friends, like I was just some stupid kid who annoyed their favourite wrestler. You don’t get to be angry that I’m standing up for the person I love when you went out of your way to ruin one of the biggest moments of their career. You don’t.” You are gasping for air, like your anger had filled your lungs and refused to make room for oxygen.
“This wasn’t personal, I had some grievances I needed to air, I’m not going to apologise for setting the record straight and I’m definitely not going to apologise to that asshole.” He jabs a finger at Max who doesn’t even look mad, just a little annoyed but mostly worried for you. “After everything he’s said and done to me, no way.”
“And newsflash kid!” He continues his voice still quiet but matching yours in sharpness. “You were just an annoying kid that I put up with, you were the boss’s favourite grandkid. Not like I could tell you to scram.”
“That's enough,” Max spits, shooting up and quickly coming to stand in front of you. “You can hate me all you want, you can try and ruin me and ruin this company with your stupidity and selfish bullshit, but you don’t talk about Mac like that or I will leave you in a pool of your own blood, again.”
Punk and Max square off each refusing to give while you twisted your hands into the black material of Max’s shirt all the fight leaving you like air after a swift kick to the gut.
Punk scoffs, grabbing his suitcase and wheeling it away refusing to look back at you even as the guilt started to eat him up.
You buried yourself in Max’s back and felt him sigh, “you okay?” He whispers, eyes still on the door to Punk’s locker room. “Mac,” He sighs quietly when the only answer you give is the tightening of your fingers in his shirt. “Please, I need to know if your okay.”
You nod against his spine and he relaxes. “I’m sorry he’s such an asshole.”
“Don’t be. Not your fault. I’m sorry he ruined your return.” You mumble softly in reply. You can’t believe he was your favourite wrestler once upon a time. You can’t believe if it wasn’t for your shared childhood love of CM Punk you and Max may have never gotten together.
“Don’t be. Not your fault.” He mimics back, you can hear the small smirk in his words. You thump him on the shoulder earning a chuckle.
He turns around, wrapping you in his arms, tiny smirk still firmly in place. “Be honest, how wrinkled in the back of this turtleneck right now?” You roll your eyes to the ceiling. “I’m serious! This is woven from the purest Azerbaijani cashmere wool, it was $900.”
“Say, is this black or dark black?”
“Don’t be stupid. You know it’s dark black.”
“Of course, how could I be your sweet cheese, your good time boy and not know the difference between black and dark black? I shouldn’t have even joked.”
“Sweet cheese? Awfully romantic and presumptuous of you. Bold. Did the rats teach you that one? It reeks of the pungent desperation only they can create.”
“Yep,” You nod. “They also taught me the single ladies dance, analysed Vonnegut, weighed the pros and cons of the Kardashian’s removing their BBL’s, and taught me how avoid STD’s. Very well-rounded people those ring rats.”
“How do you avoid STD’s?”
“Don’t sleep with patient zero. I got the information a little late.”
“Ha-ha. Wow. So funny. Is that part of the tight ten you’re working on? I’d cut it, it’s not landing as well as you think.”
You laugh and he smiles. “That’s better. I hate seeing you sad.” You bury yourself into him with a content sigh. No one was better at turning your mood around than Maxwell Jacob Friedman.
“Same. It’s why I had to say something to him. I know how much it hurt you what he did.”
“It did. But it’s over. He can’t ruin tonight for me; do you want to know why?”
“Why?”
“Because during your little revenge rampage, you told him you loved me.” He says sounding awfully smug.
You retrace your words realising you had in fact said that. A blush brightens your cheeks. You had really promised yourself you weren’t going to be the first one to say it. Damn CM Punk.
“Did I? How strange.” You reply in a faux disinterested tone.
He nods seriously, “You did.”
“Hmm,” You hum, swallowing down the nerves. You meet his gaze. “Lucky I meant it then.”
“Yeah, I guess it is?”
“Yeah.”
“What will Hunter and Steph say about their precious baby being in love with the enemy?”
“Probably something along the lines of ‘great, how long until we can sign him to a bazillion year contract and make him not the enemy?’ they won’t come out and say it, but I think they are hoping I will seduce you to the darkside.” You grin.
“You think your parents are prostituting you?”
“I mean you have met my dad; he is all about what’s best for business.”
Max laughs, tightening his grip on you. “I’m very happy in AEW.”
“I know. I like dating the enemy. It’s all very Romeo and Juliet, except less misogynist, less creepy, and you are way more of an asshole that Romeo. Romeo was also way more open about his feelings too; I mean, he told Juliet he loved her within like eight minutes. You could learn a thing or two.”
“Are you trying to manipulate me into saying I love you by making me feel bad about not stacking up emotionally against a child?”
“I don’t know, is it working?”
“I love you.”
“Cool.”

Summary: The reader has a unique wrestling career, facing the men everywhere she's gone, and surprises the world when she comes out to confront one of her old foes, the AEW world champion, CM Punk. leaving him speechless, he finds her backstage, trying to explain that he's not the same man he once was, with and without words…
Based off this song:

I DO NOT OWN THIS GIF:
There was one thing in wrestling that always gave me the best rush, put a smile on my face when the crowd roared. Being a woman who wrestled in the men's division made it all better, but tonight? I had real business to attend to.
When I wanted something, I took it. This time was no different.
CM Punk was out in the ring, addressing the crowd as he just won the AEW World title, mentioning that he'd take any challenger and I put his words to the test, his body freezing in place, pupils expanded when my music hit.
No emotion on my face, just a laser lock on Punk because we had a wicked history. Once upon a time, he bullied me for being a woman who wrestled men, wrestled me in matches, and screwed me over so many times.
My blood has never pumped so hard, but I didn't show it. Getting into the ring, I took a microphone, circling around him slowly as he was taking a breath, already knowing what I had to say.
"Long time no see, Punk," I stopped in front of him, my tone having him breathing in deeply, "Now, I'm going to keep things short and simple because let's face it. I don't like you and I never have."
It was rare for the crowd to cheer against him, encouraging me to continue and I gladly did, stepping up to his face and saying softly:
"A good couple of years ago, you told me that I shouldn't be wrestling men, that wrestling is a man's world."
The look in my eyes and the smile on my face gave it all away, fixed on the world title that was on his shoulder, smiling more when I looked back up and challenged:
"If this is a man's world, then I want to be king."
"Y/N," He whispered; Of course, he didn't want this, leaning down a little more to try and talk to me without anyone hearing, but instead?
A nice headbutt to the nose knocked him to his ass, dropping his title and I quickly squatted down to grab it, having his eyes teary already, holding it and smirking:
"You were never afraid to knock me down before? Now, you have every right to."
He quickly shot up, getting into my face, but I didn't play into it, not giving him what he wanted always did more damage. Shoving the title back into his arms, I growled to him:
"You know the kind of woman that I am. I will be the king."
Shoving him one last time, I backed away slowly, blowing a kiss:
"Can be just like old times, except I win."
The first thing that I did when I got backstage was go find Tony Khan. I wanted this match and no one was stopping me from getting what I wanted. Of course, he wasn't with the tech team, so I went marching to his office, just to hear:
"Ah, ah little lady!"
Dax and Cash coincidentally were at his office door, making me laugh:
"Of course! Punk's little lapdogs are here!"
"Lapdogs, huh?" Dax stepped up and I actually admired that they were ready to go unlike Punk, but I ignored them when a voice down the hall called out:
"Guys, back down. I got this."
"You're giving me my match and that's that!" I turned as I heard Punk's voice, ready to fight again when he came over and grabbed my wrist:
"Be lucky that I only want to talk after what you just did."
"You sure you got this man?" Cash wanted to assure and Punk nodded, getting the door:
"We'll be in here. Let Khan know."
I made sure to slap his hand off my wrist when I stepped in, wanting this all to be over once the door was shut:
"Whatever you didn't have the balls to say out in the ring, say it now."
"God, what happened to you?" He looked, astonished by my attitude and language, laughing as I kindly let him know:
"You know that I have never liked you and unfortunately, you have what I want."
"Okay, Y/N. I get it," He held his face for a moment, collecting his thoughts, "I get that you don't like me, but what happened between us was forever ago! Why do you want this title now, hm? Just because I have it?"
"And if so?" I growled, crossing my arms, "You would do the same and you sure as hell can't deny that."
"The old me would have," He admitted, trying to explain, "But I'm not that same man."
"That trick ain't gonna work on me, Punk," I was unphased and just those few words weren't convincing in the slightest, "I'm not like these dumb kids nowadays that for some reason, looked up to you out of all people."
"I have admitted it before and will again, I used to be an asshole!" He stressed, taking a step closer to me, "Yeah, I bullied you when you first started out. You were a woman out there beating grown men. You were a threat! You know psychological warfare is a tactic regardless if you're a woman or a man. That's all it was and if you're still pained by that, I am sorry. And I'm sorry, but I'm not wrestling you for this."
"Scared you'll lose?" I laughed, looking up at him with a glare, "I'm stronger now than ever, you know that and I can see it in your eyes."
"If you could truly see into my eyes, you'd know the truth," He whispered, looking back down and he was only trying to fool me again, but I played in a little:
"If I don't know the truth, then tell me. I'd love to hear."
"You still can't tell why I bullied you?" He cocked his eyebrow slightly, waiting for the answer he thought was typical:
"You can't beat-"
Before I could finish, he hit me with a truth that I couldn't find believable, kissing me hard, holding my face still to let it grow deeper, even having me kiss back a little while remembering our whole past.
It was undeniable the passion he brought into it, one arm around my neck then around my hip, hugging tightly and when he loosened up, eyes closed while our lips parted, I had to blink a few times, seeing the old him in front of me and then to now.
Maybe he did change after all.
"Things don't have to be this way," He opened his eyes, hoping he got his point across, "Let the past just be the past because we can have an incredible future, Y/N."
I wasn't sure what to say and the timing couldn't be better, stepping away from him and fixing myself right as Tony walked into the room, looking at us:
"Y/N! My goodness, I never expected this."
"Sorry for the sudden pop-up," I chuckled, Punk taking the lead before I could say more:
"We're sorry about this. Just let an old pot stir a little is all."
Punk took my hand again, ready to walk out of the door, having Tony open it kindly, but confusing him:
"So, where are we going with this?"
That kiss said a lot, but after what I did tonight? The burning fire in me? Thinking back on all the times Punk took the lead on something of mine?
Not this time.
Gosh, his face was priceless when I took my hand away, smiling in his face as I shut the door in it:
"I want to be king."

Hii i loved ur last america fic and wanted to see if u could do one where she tells strange that her and reader [fem] are dating and at first hes a little against it but he ends up being happy for them
✦ - contention
• pairing: america chavez x female reader
• warnings: slight doctor strange m.o.m. spoilers
•genre: a bit of angst with a happy ending :)
•author’s note: i loved this request and i hope you enjoy<3
doctor stephen strange. the sorcerer supreme, before being snapped away for five years by thanos.
it was strange (pun intended) to be without someone who was like a father figure to you for five years. it was also strange to have wong raise you rather than stephen, though he did a great job despite the circumstances.
but, the day that you reunited with him during the battle at avengers compound you couldn’t have been happier.
the moment that you saw him you rushed into his arms and hugged him tightly with tears pouring from your eyes.
“i missed you, i missed you so much.”
“i missed you too, kid.”
the two of you pull away from the hug and he takes a good look at you now with his glassy eyes. no longer were you the small eleven year old that he would teach magic to, you were now a teenager that was becoming a young adult.
“you’re so grown.”
you laugh slightly.
“well, five years is a long time…dad”
never had you called him that name before, but it just felt right to.
stephen immediately lit up and smiled. the man brought you in for another hug and kissed the top of your head.
“hey strange, i hate to interrupt the moment, but we still have a large army of aliens to fight”
the two of you laugh at tony stark’s words and break from the hug.
“you ready to fight?”
“always.”
— — —
it was a calm sunday afternoon in your dad’s apartment. you were sat upon the couch watching the tv, while america was laying in your lap thinking.
“i think we should tell your dad about us today”
you look to your girlfriend surprised.
“why?”
she gets up from her place on your lap and sits next to you with a concerned look on her face.
“do you not want to tell him about us?”
you turn to face her directly and sigh.
“it’s not that i don’t want to tell him, it’s just that i’m afraid of how he’ll react. you’ve seen how he’s been really protective since the thanos and wanda incidents.”
the star-powered girl grabs your hand and you sigh a bit.
you hated not telling your dad about your relationship with america. you also hated having to sneak around the kamar-taj with her between practice since you haven’t told the others yet either.
“you’re right, we should tell him today.”
“we don’t have to if you don’t feel comfortable enough to do it yet. i was just putting out the idea.”
“it’s ok, it will be for the better. plus once he finds it, it will be easier to tell the others and we won’t have to sneak around anymore.”
your girlfriend smiles and kisses your cheek.
“tonight it is then”
america goes back to her previous position on your lap, and you run your hands through her hair. she sighs happily and then two of you return to watching tv.
— — —
it was now dinner time in the strange household and your dad returned home from his meeting at the kamar-taj with takeout.
you asked him earlier in the day why you and america couldn’t go, but he said something about it being a meeting for “higher-level sorcerers” or whatever that meant.
the three of you were now gathered around a little table in the kitchen eating the food that he picked up.
strange was always happy to have america around as he took a liking to the young girl, so it wasn’t a surprise that he was delighted when he saw his daughter and her get along well. if only the man knew how well they actually got along.
you played with the food on your plate a bit, too nervous to eat it knowing the conversation you were going to have soon.
“so, what did you troublemakers do today?”
“nothing much, but your wonderful daughter here did practice with me how to not become too overwhelmed by my powers.”
stephen’s eyes immediately found your and he smiled at you proudly.
“that’s my girl.”
you place your fork down and move your plate to the side.
“dad…america and i have something to tell you”
“please don’t tell me you broke another window while practicing magic”
“no…uhm it’s not that. we’re uhm…”
america takes hold of your hand and squeezes it comfortingly. she looks at you with a look that almost says “i’ll take it from here”
“what she’s trying to say is that we’re dating”
any movement that strange was doing was halted. his eyebrows furrowed and eyes were widened with surprise.
“dating? as in the two of you are together?”
“that’s usually what dating means, dad”
your dad’s adam’s apple bobbed slightly as he rubbed his mustache.
“y/n… can i speak to you in the living room for a moment?”
before even getting to respond, he gets up and exits the kitchen.
you look to you girlfriend with worried eyes and she smiles at you slightly.
“go talk with him, i’ll stay here.”
you nod your head and made your way towards the living room.
when you walked in you could see your father deep in thought, that was until he realized that you were in the room with him.
“you and america cannot be together.”
you look at him incredulously and cross your arms.
“why not!?”
“because, one she is too dangerous, and two you are too young!”
“too dangerous!? her powers are under control! we’ve made sure of that!”
“what happens if she’s having an off day and they’re not under control, huh? what if she sends you right to another universe that you can’t get out of?”
“you know that would never happen! and what do you mean too young!?! i’m sixteen!”
“exactly! you’re too young to date!”
“but i’m not too young to fight aliens and protect myself against other multiversal beings!?”
the quietness in the room was very loud after that.
you could see the saddened look on your dad’s face and was able to tell that there was a different reason he didn’t want you and america dating.
“what’s the actual reason you don’t want her and i together?”
a look of shock crossed your father’s face, then it quickly turned to one of sadness again.
“i…i wasn’t with you for five years. five years! and in those years you grew up so quickly and wong raised you, when i should’ve been there to. you’ve grown so much without me. hell you went from eleven to sixteen in practically five minutes for me! and now that you have a girlfriend too…god, i sound like an idiot, but i’m just afraid of losing you. and i’m afraid that you really won’t need me anymore”
upon his confession you immediately engulf him into a hug.
“dad, i’m always going to need you. and i promise you, i’m not going anywhere anytime soon.”
strange hugs you tightly and kisses your head.
the two of you break from the hug and he looks down at you.
“i’m sorry for the way i reacted.”
“it’s ok, with everything that’s happened i don’t blame you…so…do you approve of her and i?”
strange chuckles a bit.
“of course i do, she’s a good kid. but, i’m still going to have a long talk with her about dating my daughter.”
“but dad-“
“no buts. come on let’s go finish having dinner with you girlfriend.”
you rolled your eyes, but walked back to the kitchen next to your dad.
when america realized the two of you had smiles on her face, she couldn’t help but smile as well.
the three of you spent the rest of the dinner talking and laughing. you couldn’t have been happier at how accepting he was with you and your girlfriend.

“Where are those daisies we collected from the last mission?” Tony asked you, eyes staying glued to the hologram in front of him.
“I left them on the quinjet. Fury said to wait for transportation until Shield confirms safety. It’s literally in a glass case, but whatever,” you rolled your eyes, making the older man laugh.
“Just protocol, kid,” he snickered.
Meanwhile Bucky sat with Steve eating lunch, chatting it up like old men do.
“So what did you bring back from the last mission? I saw a bunch of agents in hazmat suits,” Steve said sipping his coffee.
“Uh, well Thor said we should bring some plants back for research, but it seems like a bunch of normal lookin’ daisies,” Bucky shrugged.
“Y/n loves daisies,” Steve smirked.
“Ok?”
“And you love Y/n,” Steve teased.
“No I don’t-”
“Hey boys!” you skipped past the kitchen.
“Y/n,” Bucky said standing up with a big goofy smile on his face.
“Where ‘ya going?” Steve asked with a chuckle.
“Quinjet. Fury gave us the go to start doing tests on that plant you brought the other day,” you smiled lightly jogging to the runway.
“Why don't you ask her on a date, Buck,” Steve nudged.
“Come on, she’s way too smart to go out with a dumbass like me,” Bucky joked.
“Seriously.”
“I don’t know. It’s been years since I’ve talked to another woman. It doesn’t come naturally anymore. Wha- what’s even the first I’d say to her?”
“I don’t know, man. I’m on the same boat with you. Just… Tell how nice she looks today when she comes back.”
“Really?” Bucky asked skeptically.
“Yeah, be nice to her.”
“I am nice to her.”
“I mean be extra nice. Flatter her,” Steve told him, “Go wait in the lab until she comes back and tell her she looks pretty today.”
“Isn’t Tony in the lab?” Bucky asked.
“Ha ha, yeah,” Steve teased, patting his back before leaving to his room.
“What the hell are you doing here?” Tony mumbled seeing Bucky waltzing in the room awkwardly.
“Nothing,” he mumbled back.
Tony dropped his hands and stared at Bucky with an unimpressed look on his face. Everyone but you knew about Barnes’ little boy crush on you but he’s never had the balls to say anything. You were close to Tony and seeing as though he doesn’t particularly like Bucky, he didn’t want you hanging around him. But you were an adult so of course you hung out with whoever you wanted.
He was sure you liked him back too which never ceased to make him roll his eyes.
You walked back from the quinjet with the glass container of daisies. You weren’t exactly a plant expert but it was apparent that these daisies were mutated seeing as though the pollen swirled around the flowers gracefully. It was beautiful but then again they might be extremely dangerous considering it was a Hydra experiment.
“Hey Y/n, off to the lab again?” Steve smiled.
“Yup, gotta check these babies out according to Thor; said they might be dangerous if they’re what he thinks they are,” you said, still walking.
“And what’s that?” you just shrugged at his question unsure of the answer yourself.
“Well, Bucky’s waiting for you in the lab,” he slipped in the conversation.
“Really? Why’s-” Crash!
“Oh no,” Tony mumbled, seeing the collision in action.
“Shit, I’m so sorry,” you stuttered.
“No, no. I should be sorry. Here let me help,” bucky knelt to the ground grabbed the fallen daisies with his bare hands.
“No! Don’t touch-” Tony shouted practically sprinting towards you two.
The golden pollen swirled in a misty manner engulfing Bucky completely. You stared with furrowed brows confused at the sight before you and what was going on. Bucky’s skin began to burn and his senses were being overloaded. All he could smell in that moment was you; the same scent that he got a whiff of this morning when he hugged you, the perfume and the shampoo that filled his senses when you walked passed him.
Tony pushed you out of the lab roughly throwing you in Steve’s arms who was just as confused.
“FRIDAY,” Tony called out.
“Yes, Mr. Stark,” the familiar voice answered.
“Lock all the doors to the lab and maybe turn on the a/c,” he commanded.
“Of course, Mr. Stark.”
All the glass walls and doors instantly shut and locked, locking Bucky inside. Bucky’s eyes found your and slammed his body against the glass desperately trying to reach you. You too ran up to the glass wall trying to understand what had happened to him. Everything was happening so suddenly.
Your forehead was pressed against the glass as was Bucky’s; both of you staring into each other’s eyes momentarily. In that moment, you could see his eyes turn golden for a quick second before his pupils dilated ridiculously before your eyes.
“Is he going to be ok?” you turned away.
“Y/n! Please!” Bucky’s muffled screams shocked you.
“Uh… where’s Thor?” Tony panicked.
“What the hell is happening?” Nat asked; Sam, Wanda, and Vision trailing behind closely.
“Nat,” you ran to her.
“What happened to Bucky?” Same asked.
“He- I ran- I ran into him by a-accident and the box dropped. There was mist everywhere and Bucky's eyes. His eyes,” you stammered breathlessly.
“Please! I need her!” Bucky hit the glass in an attempt to break it.
“Oh my goodness,” Wanda gasped at the sweaty Bucky hitting and practically going feral.
“Oh god, is he gonna be ok?” you teared up. This is your fault, dammit.
“I can asure he will experience no physical harm,” Thor’s voice made all of you turn around.
“Just physically? What the hell does that mean?” Sam argued.
“Well, uh… I’ve never actually seen it’s effects in person. Especially not on a Midguardian…” his voice trailed off and his eyes grew big.
Nat snapped her head, eyes widening as well. Bucky with absolutely no shame held his hard dick in his hands pumping it with his eyes trained on you. You went to turn around seeing nat’s expression but she covered you eyes before you could actually see the lewd behavior Bucky indulged in.
“What’s happening?” you asked holding onto Nat as she led across the room.
“Nothing, they’re gonna take care of Buck. Don’t worry about it,” she said quickly.
You sat in your room bouncing your leg as the movie on your TV played. Every now and then Bucky would moan and cry particularly loud making all of you wince and cringe. But your mind felt foggy simply thinking about Bucky and his safety; especially that moment when his eyes went from confusion to you don’t even know what. Hunger? Desire? Lust?
Whatever it was, it made your tummy flutter.
“Steve, any news on Bucky?” Steve stood at the doorway with a worrisome face that did nothing to ease your already panicked nerves.
“Well, as far as Thor knows the plant that was mutated with the daisies was pollen extracted from a breeding plant common among other galaxies; for species that can’t… reproduce like we do. The pollen enters the system and targets the nociceptors causing excruciating pain without physical harm. If untreated the victim can reach a traumatic state and truthfully, they will do anything to stop the pain; even kill themselves.”
“What the hell does any of that mean?” Sam grunted.
“It means the tin man is painfully horny,” Tony interrupted.
“Are you fucking serious?” Sam said in disbelief.
“What’s the cure?” Nat said.
“Oxytocin, of course,” Tony said.
“The cuddle hormone,” you whispered.
“Yup. Banner and I are already working on a serum containing artificial oxytocin in hopes to minimize the pain or even better cure him completely. We-”
“I’m afraid it’s going to be a bit more complicated than that,” Thor interrupted Tony.
“What do you mean?”
“Well, see the pollen, it’s a little tricky. The oxyputin-thingy you mentioned…”
“Oxytocin,” Tony clarified but Thor didn’t care too much.
“I don't think artificial love is going to cure the boy. If you want results, he needs to be the one he desires most. That’s where you’ll get your oxy-pudding.”
“Oxy- You know what, we can figure this out without anyone needing to have sex,” Tony groaned.
“Tony, maybe we shouldn’t-” you started.
“Nope, we can do this. We’re science bros,” Tony stormed away like a child.
“Isn’t your lab being ‘occupied’,” Nat called out.
“Shit!”
-
Hours went by and the oxytocin experiments were clearly a fail. The first dose did nothing. The second also nothing. The third relieved him for only ten seconds before he went back to his painful state. Since then, they haven’t been able to help or relieve Bucky’s circumstance any longer.
You thought about Thor’s words, about how the one he desires most could cure him. A ping of jealousy struck your heart but you knew you to find the woman Bucky loved and just pray that she'd help him. You made your way back to the lad area where Tony and Bruce had their new makeshift set up while the lab was locked down.
“Tony, this is ridiculous. It’s been going on for too long. You heard what Thor said about what happens when it gets too much,” you begged.
“And what do you suggest we do?” Tony said angrily.
“We need to find the woman that Bucky loves so she can help him,” you argued back.
“It's not just some woman, Y/n! He wants you.”
“What?”
“All the bastard’s been doing for the past eight hours has been masterbating while moaning your name. I’m not putting you in that situation,” Tony yelled.
You couldn’t speak. Was he telling you the truth? Did Bucky want you like that? The same way you secretly wanted him? It’s not like you haven't thought about what being with Bucky would be like before. He was perfect; so handsome and charming.
You ran back to your room where the rest of the guys still were practically out of breath; your heart hammering out of your chest and your stomach fluttering like it does whenever you think about Bucky.
“I need to get to Bucky,” you panted out.
“What?”
“Please you guys need to help me. Tony said that Bucky wants me; I mean can you believe. A guy like him wanting me? I’m just… nobody. He’s way too out of my league and-”
“Y/n, focus,” Nat said.
“Right. I- I want to help him. I know I can.”
“Y/n, we don’t know how dangerous this is. I mean, it came from Hydra, this could be weaponized and you could get hurt,” Steve argued.
“Bucky could never hurt me,” you whispered; Nat looked at you softly, understanding the situation better realizing you were probably Bucky’s only chance of a cure.
“You’re not actually considering letting her do this are you?” Steve scolded Nat.
"Are Tony and Bruce making any progress?" she sighed.
"They haven't been to even relieve his pain for longer than ten seconds," you whispered.
"Steve, this is Bucky we're talking about. Hasn't he endure enough torture in his life?" Nat said softly.
That seemed to convince him. Seeing Bucky in so much pain like he had been only years ago was unfair, especially when they technically already knew a cure. Waiting this out was pure evil at this point.
"How do you suppose we go about this?" he asked.
You devised a plan in order to let Bucky from the lab; he'd find his way to you on his own. Wanda stood from afar using her powers to tamper with the equipment. Tony frustratingly would have to run across the compound to the conference rooms to grab new devices in order to continue with his notes and tests.
On his way back, Steve and his convincing and charming ways would stall Tony's return asking him all sorts of questions about Bucky's state. Meanwhile, Thor made up some excuse to lure Banner away just for a minute so Nat and Sam could override the lockdown through Friday and free Bucky.
All the while you sat in your room waiting anxiously for Bucky to barge through the door and have his way with you.
A few minutes went by and no sign of a ruckus you'd assume would accompany the escape plan. You fiddled with the hem of your skirt biting your lip in anticipation. Still no sign after a couple more minutes. Wanting to make sure you still looked alright for Buck, although he'd probably not even acknowledge your appearance, you stood up to walk to your bathroom.
Just as you stood up, Bucky in all his muscle and broad glory slammed the door behind him staring at you with nothing but desperate hunger. Your stomach flipped when you saw him lock the door, pushing a small chair you had just next to it in front of the door under the handle.
He stalked towards practically panting and you took in his appearance. His hair was quite disheveled and sweat lined his forehead and slightly down his neck. Despite that, he still looked so handsome and sexy.
"маленький, all dressed up for me to ruin," he growled crawling up the bed as you crawled back.
"Buck, are you ok? I want to help you," you whispered.
"I'm more than ok now, beautiful," he whispered leaning into you, his nose brushing against yours, chuckling when you visibly trembled.
"Is my красивый маленький ангел gonna let me use her?" he whispered, huskily.
"Bucky, I don't understand what you're saying."
"так драгоценно," he whispered against your lips before pressing himself completely against you.
His hands, contrast between hot and cold, crept under your shirt brushing lightly over your delicate skin. You had somewhat expected Bucky to have no control and use you relentlessly, of which you wouldn't have minded, but this soft ginger foreplay was really making your panties wet.
Bucky slowly lifted the shirt from your body before tossing it to the side and removing his own. His hands cupped your breasts squeezing the soft flesh quite roughly making you sigh and moan at the feeling.
His lips attached themselves to your neck biting and sucking harshly littering your skin with dark purple marks. He nibbled on your ear as he grinding his pelvis against yours, his large erection poking your center making you even more aroused.
"I couldn't stop thinking about you. It smelled just like you," he whispered.
"T- The daisies?"
"I've been craving you, aching for you. Thinking about how good you're gonna feel wrapped around my cock," he panted speeding up his grinding thrusts.
"Buck," you breathed out.
Bucky shuddered over you before stilling for a moment. He couldn't help it, your scent, your warm skin pressed against his, he couldn't hold back anymore coming straight away in his pants.
You brushed his hair softly soothing him from his high. You thought it was over, that he felt better and was finally cured but almost instantly you felt Bucky harden under you, poking between your thighs and you gasped knowing very well it was going to be a long night.
Bucky stood on his knees and pulled your bottoms down your legs nearly ripping the material. He too rid his bottoms throwing them god knows where before climbing back on top of you. You stared adorably up at him and Bucky almost came again. He smiled softly at you before kissing you once more.
Suddenly, loud bangs on your door startled you but not Bucky.
"What the hell are you doing!" Tony screamed.
"Tony, you gotta stop! This is the only way! It's not fair to him to let him keep suffering. He's done enough of that, ok?" Nat shouted.
"She's gonna get hurt," Tony sighed.
"No she won't. This was her idea."
Tony looked back teary eyed. He really cared for you as his own and putting you in a situation like this wasn't fair to you either. He really tried to help but this was just too complicated and too advanced to solve in only a few hours. They were right, Bucky needed you as much as he didn't like that idea too much.
"Fine."
Bucky lined his cock with your entrance wrapping your legs around his waist. Slowly he pushed in pulling moans from you both. You've only had a couple lovers previous to Bucky but neither of them ever filled you so perfectly. Bucky stretched you out like none other and admittedly he wanted to use his fingers on you first but he'd been away for too long it was too painful to go another second without being inside you.
"So tight and warm, little one. Feel so fucking good wrapped around me."
"Buck," you moaned.
You wrapped your arms around his neck pulling him impossibly closer to you as you kissed along his neck and jaw. Bucky moaned breathlessly in your ear and you couldn't help the clenching around him from arousal.
"Fuck, keep doing that, little one," he groaned.
Toy squeezed your thighs together and clenched around him again making him groan louder this time. His thrusts became sporadic and you moved against like a ragdoll unable to keep up with his relentless pace.
Your legs began to shake and your back arched into his chest reaching you first high of the night, gushing all over his cock. You realize he hasn't come and gently push him off you before flipping over to let him take you again from behind.
As expected, Bucky pushed into once again deeper this time and you shuddered under his hand that rested atop your arched back. Bucky smacked and kneaded your ass thrusting in and out. The lewd squelching sound of his thrust mixed with the sound of skin slapping against each other echoed in the room.
"Shit, little one. Taking my cock so fucking well," he reached forward and bunch up your hair pulling your head back harshly.
“Shit,” you mumbled.
Your knuckles turned white as you gripped the sheets as hard as you could. You were approaching your orgasm quickly and you weren't going to be able to hold back any longer. Your pussy clenched around Bucky's cock making him throw his head back in pleasure.
"Please, Bucky," you whimpered.
"You wanna come, darling. You wanna cream all over daddy's cock?"
"Yes! Fuck!" your arms shook before giving out completely; your head buried in the sheets as Bucky continued that same wild and rough pace.
"Please let me come, daddy!"
Your body felt on fire. No one has ever made you feel this good before, it was almost too much, too overwhelming. Tears brimmed your eyes from trying to desperately hold back. You wanted to come with Bucky but seeing as his pace had yet to slow down you were beginning to think he wasn't even close.
"Let go, doll."
Your body squirmed beneath him as you released all over his dick. You came with a near shout, your body violently trembling from the intensity of your high. Bucky slowed his pace for your comfort, gently riding your orgasm slowly down despite his still aching erection.
He languidly rolled you over to your back, his hands softly rubbing your sides up to your breasts. You breathed heavily, eyes feeling droopy, all you could feel in that moment was his cum dripping from you onto the sheets.
Bucky, still knelt on the bed and still chasing his release, lifted your legs over his thighs gripping your hip with one hand and his cock with the other. You squeezed your thighs together when you felt his tip poking at your entrance once again, soft whimpers emitting from you shakily.
"Such a good girl. Gonna let me take you again? Gonna let me keep using you?" he moaned.
"Use me, Buck. I'm all yours," you breathed out.
Bucky pushed himself past your folds once again, your cum easily letting him slide in. Both his hands made home on your hips gripping hardly surely to leave marks for you to remember this very moment. You looked at Bucky as his thrusts slowly began to pick up, bringing your own hands to your breasts to play with your nipples. You twisted the perked buds, moaning softly at the feeling as well as Bucky filling you perfectly once again.
"Filling me up so good, baby," you moaned, arching your back slightly allowing Bucky to hit a newer and deeper angle inside you.
"Pussy was fucking made for me," he growled.
His hand moved from its home on your hip right over your lower belly where he could feel his cock so deep poking his own hand through your tummy.
"Feel how fucking deep I am?"
You moved your hand and he pressed yours in the same spot under his and you moaned loudly, shuddering under him.
His pace quickened and for a moment he thought he was going to finally reach his high, that release he'd been thinking about for hours today, but when he felt you clench again, squeezing his cock tightly and he didn't cum, he knew it was gonna be chase that he didn't know you'd be up for. You gushed all over his dick, back arching and your legs pressing tight around his torso, coming with a loud scream of his name.
Bucky fell forward with tears in his eyes. His skin still felt hot and sticky. His sense felt dialed up to an eleven. It was all so overwhelming and all he wanted was to cum in you and hold you closer whispering how he really loved you. He pressed faint kisses to you equally sticky and warm skin and when you felt warm liquid dripping onto your skin to lift Bucky's head to find him crying.
"What's wrong, baby?"
“I can’t cum. I just wanna cum,” he whined.
“Hey, hey. It’s ok. I can go as many times as you need me to. I want to help you, let me do that.”
“Can- Can you uh… use your mouth please? I want to feel those pretty lips wrapped around my cock so bad,” he moaned.
“Of course, baby. I’d do anything for you,” you smirked before pushing him and crawling over him holding his dick in your hand.
-
Hours and literally hours had passed until Bucky was finally tired out only having cum three times compared to the fifteen-plus times you had. Your bed laid on the ground; the wooden stands snapped about two hours ago. Most of your sheets were torn to shreds and marks littered your body from your neck down to your hips and your knees from, well you know.
Your body shook as you laid in a fetal position. You burned between your thighs; the soreness overwhelming but pleasant at the same time. Sweat made what was left of the sheets stick to your body until Bucky pulled them from you to clean you. He used a warm towel all over your body with tears in his eyes whispering how sorry he was about everything.
“I swear I didn’t mean for any of this to happen. I’m so sorry. I understand if you hate me now; if you never want to see me again. Just know that I’m so sorry about your bed, the blankets, if I hurt you, everything,” he sniffled, eyes and nose red and puffy.
“Bucky,” you whispered, your voice raspy and croaky from your moaning and screaming all night.
“Y/n,” he whispered back. You pulled him by the back of his neck into a soft yet passionate kiss.
“Fuck, you’re so beautiful,” he breathed out when you pulled away. You cupped his face with shaky hands but a smile on your face.
“Do you mean it?”
“Of course. You’re the most beautiful woman I’ve ever met. I’ve dreamt about holding you far too many times, more than I’d like to admit. I should’ve told you sooner but like everyone else, I was scared you didn’t like me back; at least not this way,” he rubbed your legs indicating the intimate love he had for you.
“Buck, it’s virtually impossible for anyone not to fall in love with you. Unless they’re Tony,” you giggled as did he.
“Can you say it?” he asked softly.
“That I love you?” you smiled brushing your nose against his; Bucky practically purred as he nodded.
“I love you, James,” you whispered.
“Fuck, I love you too.”
He laid you down softly again on the broken bed pressing light kisses all over your collarbones and shoulders. You brushed his hair with your fingers as he clung onto you ready to sleep.
“Thank you again, doll. For helping me today,” he said after a couple minutes of silence.
“Of course, my love. Besides I’m the one who ran into you with those damn daisies.”
“Thank god for them then. And for your clumsiness,” Bucky chuckled.
“Meanie,” you snorted, making Bucky laugh even more.
“I love you.”
“I love you too, Buck.”

how ncis characters act when they’re jealous:
characters: leroy jethro gibbs, dwayne pride, tony dinozzo, chris lasalle, tim mcgee, tammy gregorio, nick torres, sebastian lund
a/n: might make a part two with more characters if i get the inspo
leroy jethro gibbs: he wouldn’t realize it was jealousy until somebody points it out. he’s usually wearing this stern look with hard eyes so jethro’s jealousy takes the form of not talking at all. and lots of staring. he would internalize his behavior as being concerned for you, or something not feeling right deep in his gut. and the guy who’s taking up so much of your attention will forever be an annoyance to gibbs.
jethro doesn’t interfere, though. not unless he feels like he has to - until then, gibbs will likely just sulk in the corner until you were free. but you can really start to feel his jealousy once you’re at his side again and he’s barely saying two words to you and still glaring at the annoying bastard. if you ask him what’s wrong, he’ll say it’s nothing. and later, when you both are alone, that’s when he reflects and feels like a stupid ass for acting the way he did.
dwayne pride: honestly, he gets a Kicked Puppy Vibe whenever he’s feeling jealousy. dwayne is a very sensitive person and he feels the loss of your presence like the sunshine hiding behind a cloud. he’ll try to ignore that twisted up feeling in his stomach and go on to enjoy the night, but dwayne always finds you in the crowd. always huffs a little when he sees you with someone else. always reins himself in from stealing your attention away.
later on, his affection is amped up to the max. dwayne will absolutely shine under your attention, and he’ll honestly get a bit clingy for the rest of the night. of course, he knows himself well enough to know what he’s doing. he feels a little embarrassed by it. so maybe some of the kisses he gives you is his secret way of apologizing.
tony dinozzo: he doesn’t get jealous. not at all. why should tony care if this loser keeps making you laugh so fucking hard at jokes that aren’t even funny? he only steps in because this other guy is so wildly unfunny that tony is afraid you might just die of boredom, and as you know so well, tony is a pretty heroic guy. it’s his job to take you far, far away from the asshole who was starting to stand just a little too close.
tony couldn’t hide his jealousy to save his own life. he likes to believe he’s suave and cunning and doesn’t let things get to him. and maybe that’s true for most things. but just as soon as he gets you alone, tony has this primal need to pull you in close and remind you what’s what. he doesn’t like to think of it as proving himself, but the marks on your neck prove differently…
chris lasalle: very little truly gets under christopher’s skin, and jealousy isn’t one of them. sure, he likes your attention, but chris is also very secure in the relationship. it’s kinda hard to feel threatened when he’s the one who lead you into the party, arm over your shoulders, showing you off and giving lots of kisses and doesn’t really give a fuck who sees. he might even revel in the fact that onlookers start to feel a little jealous of him.
if there’s any jealousy to be had, it’s toward your glass because your hands and mouth are all over it, instead of him. it’s toward the music itself for making you move so fluidly and sexy. it’s toward the liquor for putting that big grin on your face when chris should be doing that himself. he does later, rest assured. makes dumb jokes when his hands are all over your body, and he has nothing left to be jealous over.
tim mcgee: if jealousy could be adorable, it would be on tim. he’s prone to self-consciousness and self-doubt, and that would all come out whenever his position with you feels threatened. he loves and trusts you explicitly - it’s just his own dumb head making up crazy thoughts that you’ll find somebody better than him and tim works himself into a frenzy and he ends up embarrassing himself in front of you in some way or another.
at home, tim just apologizes. stutters his excuses with pink cheeks and shaky fingers. it won’t be until a while into the relationship when he’s more confident and self-assured. but until then, sometimes you just gotta wrap your arms around him and hold him tight and let him figure out for himself that you really do love him - even when you can hear abby reassuring him from across the room.
tammy gregorio: when she’s feeling jealous, it’s going to be loud and it’s going to be obvious. tammy will deny it, of course. insist she isn’t the jealous type and that she’s got more self-respect than that. but she’s not the only eagle-eyed person on the team - you can always see her watching you from across the room if somebody’s getting a little too friendly. she’ll tell you over and over she doesn’t feel threatened, but it’s always proven wrong when tammy always subtly puts herself between you and some slimy asshole.
even if you call her out on it later, she wouldn’t really care. in fact, tammy will probably turn it around on you, somehow - ask why you were paying so much attention to how she reacted. did you want her to get jealous? do you think it’s hot when tammy intervenes and puts on her Scary Agent Face? you’ll say no, of course. but she’s a profiler.
nick torres: this man is an opportunist. that’s how he lived as an undercover agent, and that bleeds into his normal life. nick will take the hot, twisted jealousy he’s feeling and turn it into something he can really enjoy. this means coming up to you, grinning at the guy who’s been chatting you up, and really laying it on thick. kissing you, touching you, making sly little comments. nick is also really good at insulting people without actually saying anything rude (which he does.)
nick will act all innocent at home when you confront him. he’ll tell you that he just likes showing his girl off because you’re too fucking cute. but that act doesn’t hold up for very long, and nick just kinda ends up insulting the guy some more by saying he was an idiot and didn’t deserve you and he kinda smelled anyway so why would you ever give him the time of day?
sebastian lund: a man who’s in touch with his feelings knows when he’s feeling jealous, and it just makes sebastian feel guilty. he trusts you more than he trusts anybody else, and he knows you wouldn’t do anything - still, sebastian just gets this unfamiliar tightness in this stomach when he hears you laugh across the room and it wasn’t him you were laughing at. he’ll push it down and try to act nonchalant and like he doesn’t notice you. it doesn’t work. everybody on the team picks up on it and they just look sympathetic.
sebastian would get talkative at home. he can usually talk a lot on normal occasions, but now, he just feels like he wants to have your attention and rambling is the best way for him to do that. sebastian probably won’t even stop talking until you two lay in bed, and his words are stunted by a soft kiss. he’ll eventually feel better - at least until the next day when he’s teased about it.

From Strangers to Sisters
Chapter Ten - Rescue Mission
Tony interrupts Wanda and Natasha to let them know a little girl nearby needs their help. (Word count: 2726)
Previous chapter:
On the way back to the hotel, Natasha received a phone call from Tony. He had received word that a four year old girl had been kidnapped by HYDRA agents and was staying undercover until they could get her to their headquarters for experimentation. She was in their area and Natasha got a text with the details of the people who have her and the child.
Nat showed the text to Wanda, as Yelena and Kate were too drunk for this mission and were already back at the hotel. The two sober women went in search for the little girl in order to save her.
The Black Widow found a small stuffed toy on the ground and showed it to Wanda, "I bet this was hers," she said somberly.
Wanda nodded, biting her lip as she looked around, seeing the girl in tears as the agents dragged her away as she kept reaching back for the bear.
Natasha flew into action, stealthily crossing the gap between them and taking out one of the agents immediately, whispering harshly for the girl to run.
The girl whimpered and ran away, running into Wanda without realizing, who scooped the young girl up and rubbed her back to try and calm her down.
Natasha then put the other two agents in cuffs and put a call in for a jet to pick them up, which promptly did before coming over to Wanda and the girl.
“Heartless idiots…” Wanda murmured as she rocked the four year old who was trembling in her arms.
Natasha bent down, "They're being taken to prison and to the government for questioning," the spy rolled her eyes, then softened them at the child, stroking her hair, "Did they hurt you little one?"
The young child looked away from Nat, her tone of voice from earlier frightened her a little as she eventually stopped crying and clutched the bear Wanda had given back to her to her chest.
“Hey, we should go somewhere safe, the three of us so she isn’t overwhelmed.” Wanda told Nat as she bounced the young girl gently.
Nat nodded, pinging her encrypted app for a safe house not far from there. "I have a place." The witch nodded and kept up her comforting gestures as they walked to the safe house.
Nat cleared the house, finding no sign of any dangers as she began turning on lights, ushering Wanda and the girl in and locking the doors behind them.
Wanda put the girl down, and she hid in the corner of the room, looking between the two grown ups cautiously.
Natasha brought a blanket to her and gently covered her shoulders, "You must be freezing." She told the girl, who shook even more, clutching her bear with a whimper.
She sat gently on the floor and crossed her legs, "I'm sorry I yelled earlier, I was trying to get you away from those bad men." .” The Black Widow tried to explain as the girl watched her closely, hiding behind her bear.
Just then, Wanda spoke to Nat in her mind. “Tony’s aware of the situation, social services are coming to take her somewhere safe in about an hour. Her name is Millie.”
"Millie?" Nat spoke aloud in a soft voice as she offered her hand. The little girl's eyes widened as she kept hiding behind her bear, stepping back further towards the wall.
Natasha thought to Wanda, "I want to comfort her but I'm afraid she's too scared of me,"
Wanda looked over at the pair, sending thoughts back to Nat. “Maybe try and be playful with her, talk to her about her bear or something, I’d offer to help but I don’t think she’d want another person crowded around her.”
The redhead nodded, "You have a cute bear there Millie," she said quietly, "Do they have a name?"
“Hattie…” Millie replied, turning the bear around to show her whilst cuddling it close to her.
"Awww what a cute name," Natasha smiled, "Hello there Hattie, my name is Natasha, my friends call me Nat or sometimes Nattie," she smiled and held her hand out to shake the bear's paw.
Millie watched closely, moving the bear's paw to shake her hand as she bit back a small smile.
The Black Widow smiled and rubbed the bear's tummy after shaking her paw, "Awww what soft fur you have, Hattie!" Millie nodded in response, still watching her as Wanda looked over, silently attempting to make Millie feel less anxious.
Natasha asked, "Is Hattie's tummy ticklish?" She asked Millie playfully. The little girl shrugged, looking at her bear and giving it an extra squeeze.
Just then, Wanda used her magic to flutter briefly up Natasha’s sides to get her to appear more sweet and approachable, stopping it after a few seconds.
"WAHAHAHANDA thahahat tihihickles!" She covered her sides in surprise, completely softening.
The witch smirked at that, as Millie looked at Nat with a tiny smile on her face, which she hid behind her bear.
The Black Widow smiled at the little girl, "Should I get Wanda back?" She teased playfully, "She's extreeeemly ticklish," she teased the witch.
Millie looked over at Wanda, nodding silently as the witch’s eyes widened. “Natasha… don’t you daaaare.”
Nat smirked and pounced, spidering under her tummy button, "Coochiescoochiecoochie coo Wanda woooo!"
Wanda squeaked with giggles and gently grabbed Nat’s hands. “NAHAHAHEEEE!” She cackled out as Millie went back into her corner; watching the two silently
The Black Widow had a cheshire smile as she raspberried Wanda's neck, before winking at her, "I wonder if Millie and Hattie are ticklish?" She teased to Wanda.
The witch squealed with giggles as she scrunched her shoulders up, before taking in a few breaths. “Well, there’s only one way to find out.” She replied as Millie just kept looking between the pair.
The Widow wiggled her fingers at Millie, "Uh oh Millie, the tickle spider and tickle witch are gonna get youuuuuu," she teased playfully.
The girl bit back a smile as she hid back in the corner of the room, holding her bear in front of her as she tried to hide her smile.
Natasha scooped her up and raspberried her neck playfully, "What about magic tickles?" She teased, nodding at Wanda, who shook her head.
“I don’t want to scare her.” Wanda commented as Millie scrunched her shoulders up and let out a tiny squeal.
The Widow nodded, "Hmmm what about…ticklish feet?" She said and gently swung Millie around so Wanda could tickle her feet as Nat gently shook her tummy and tickled Hattie's too, "Ahhh coochiescoochiecoochie coo! Two little tickle bugs trapped!"
Wanda smiled a little and wiggled her fingers into one of her feet as Millie used Hattie to protect herself as she tried hard not to giggle.
"Aww it's okay to laugh Millie," Nat cooed fondly and raspberried her neck again, and then playfully nuzzled the bear's tummy, "Hehehe," Nat pretended to be the bear and laughed, "See? Hattie laughed!"
Millie scrunched her shoulders up, still refusing to smile as she held the bear close, poking at the fur curiously.
Natasha smiled, "Hehehe, that TIHIHICKLES Millie!" The Widow did in her best bear voice. The older redhead nodded to Wanda, thinking to her, "You have the better rapport, maybe see if you can get her to laugh?"
“She likes you.” Wanda reassured back as Millie ended up giving Hattie to Wanda as she looked up at Natasha shyly.
The Black Widow smiled, "May I give you a hug?" She asked, and Millie nodded slowly and leaned into her a little.
The spy wrapped her arms tightly around the little girl before gently wiggling her fingers into her sides, causing her to squeal quietly and giggle in her arms.
"Awww tickle hugs?" She cooed softly and skittered in, gently shaking her ribs. Wanda watched with a fond smile, glad that Natasha was able to bond with a child.
Millie kept giggling adorably, hiding her face in Nats shoulder as she squirmed around a little.
"How sweeeeeet," she cooed and nuzzled into Millie's neck before pulling Wanda into the hug, "Aunt Wanda's turn again! Help me Millie!" She grinned and shook into Wanda's ribs and spidered her side.
Millie watched as Wanda burst into giggles. “Hehehey no!” She whined and leaned away, blushing.
Nat smirked and pulled up the witch's shirt, "Give her a raspberry Millie!" She encouraged, modeling with Hattie, pretending the bear was making raspberry noises on her tummy.
Wanda gasped quietly as she shoved her shirt back down as Millie kept sitting there, feeling a little too nervous to do anything.
The Widow smirked at Wanda, but then looked back to Millie, "Can I show you…a magical hug?" She asked the four year old, who nodded hesitantly as she sat up and watched her curiously.
Natasha picked her up and held her tightly and gently, her arms crossing under her legs and up to her lower belly before wiggling in gently. "Auntie Wanda wants to help toooo," she sang.
Millie blushed as she burst into giggles, looking as Wanda smiled fondly and fluttered her fingers into her feet, causing her to squeal and kick out.
"Awww does Millie have a ticklwish tummy and ticklwish toes?" She cooed fondly, giving her just a moment to breath, "Do you want Aunt Wanda to try her magic on you?" She asked, "Like she did when she tickled me earlier?"
The girl shook her head, taking in deep breaths as she leaned into Natasha a little more.
The Black Widow nodded and held her close, "You're so sweet," she whispered as Millie blushed a little and rested her head on her shoulder.
Natasha then pulled Wanda in for a cuddle, "Are you guys hungry?" She asked softly as Wanda nodded. “Always.” She chuckled.
However, Millie was curious and started poking and prodding at Nat’s sides and belly.
"Hehehe Mihihillie thahahat tihihickles!" She blushed, but was happy she was so comfortable with her.
Wanda smirked, joining in by gently fluttering her fingers under Nat’s arms. “Aww! So sensitive!” Wanda chimed in with a smirk.
"Hehehey youhuhu guhuhuys!" Natasha blushed and fell back laughing, squealing at Wanda's hands as Millie's tiny ones just added to the sensation.
“Get her, Millie!” Wanda beamed as she used her magic to spread across Natasha’s thighs and feet as Millie wiggled her fingers in gently.
"AHAHAHEHEEH NAHAHAHAHAEHEHEHEHHAHAHAH!" She shrieked with laughter and blushed madlyas Wanda shook her fingers in.
Eventually, Millie pulled away, prompting Wanda to do the same, letting Nat go with a smug grin on her face..
The Black Widow caught her breath, blushing madly, "I…will…tickle…you both," she said between breaths and smiled at them to let Millie know she was playing.
“We’re not scared!” Wanda grinned and nodded and Millie as she folded her arms.
The Black Widow looked between them, pouncing on Wanda and then raspberrying her neck while shaking right below her tummy button, "I've got Wanda! I've got her!"
Wanda gasped and squealed with laughter, throwing her head back as she wiggled from side to side. “NAHAHAHA!”
"Awww coochiescoochiecoochie coo wittle witchy woo!" She sang, "C'mon Millie! Come get her!" The spy sang playfully. The girl bit back her smile as she shyly wiggled her fingers into her sides, making Wanda’s giggles turn more high pitched.
"That's it Millie! Good job!" Natasha said and then whispered in the little girl's ear, "She is super ticklish to raspberries," she grinned and held Wanda's shirt up.
Millie paused and looked at Nat innocently, letting her do the raspberries since she wasn’t too confident about it. The spy nodded, "Okay, then can you pretend your finger is a wiggly little caterpillar and put it in her tummy button?" The spy asked as she raspberried Wanda's tummy.
Wanda cackled with laughter and kicked out as Millie nodded and done what she was asked, making Wanda squeal and push her shirt down.
Natasha chuckled, "Uh oh, that means…it's Millie's turn!" She grinned and pulled her into her lap, pulling her top up to raspberry her tummy.
Millie squeaked with giggles and kicked out, shaking her head as she cuddled into Nat as she squirmed.
"Shall we try Wanda's magic now? She's very gentle," she comforted as she lightly shook Millie's ribs. But Millie kept shaking her head as she curled up and giggled helplessly.
"Can Aunt Wanda give you a raspberry?" She asked playfully, as Millie looked over at Wanda and nodded slowly.
Nat smiled at Wanda and held her top up, presenting the girl's tummy to Wanda, "Coochiescoochiecoochie coo!"
Wanda smiled fondly and blew a tiny raspberry into her belly, shaking her head as she did so and grinning as Millie burst into giggles and pulled her shirt back down.
The Black Widow grinned and pulled them both into a hug, "I'm glad we were able to help you, Millie," she told the young girl as she took Hattie back and cuddled the bear close.
"Shall we try to get a little nap?" She asked the other two. But just then, there was a knock at the door. Wanda was quick to go and answer the door as Millie whimpered and cuddled into Nat a little more.
"It's okay Millie, I think these are the people who are going to make sure you're safe and taken care of now," she said and rubbed the little girl's back.
The girl nodded as two policemen entered, kneeling down to Millie with a gentle smile. “Hey kiddo, your parents are at the station waiting for you.” One officer told Millie, whose face lit up as she hugged Nat extra tight.
Natasha hugged her tightly and kissed her head, "You go home to your parents now sweet girl." She slipped her a card, "If you ever need us,"
Millie nodded, then whimpered as she jumped into Natasha’s arms once more.
"Oh Millie, I'm gonna miss you," she said softly and hugged her one more time before squeezing her sides, causing Millie to squeal and cling onto her.
"Alright sweet girl, give Wanda one more hug too," she said gently and kissed her forehead. Millie nodded sadly and went to Wanda, who picked her up and gave her a huge hug.
“Take care of yourself, alright sweetheart?” She whispered and rubbed her back. Millie nodded again, sniffling as she got handed to the police.
Natasha blew her a kiss, "You're going home safely now," she said gently. Millie nodded, clinging onto her bear before the police eventually took her away.
Wanda lay back on the couch, feeling a little overwhelmed from everything that just happened. The Black Widow joined her, sitting down and pulling her into a cuddle, "You okay?"
The witch shrugged, sighing quietly as she cuddled into Nat a little more, trying to smile at her. "Someone need a cheer up?' she smiled playfully and tickled her tummy.
Wanda bit her lip, immediately breaking into giggles as she shrugged and squirmed around. "Awww I think Wanda just needs some tickle time!" She cooed and shook into her ribs.
“Whahahat nohoho!” Wanda replied, blushing as she arched her back and gently shoved at Nat’s hands.
The Widow grinned and then saw a sliver of her tummy peaking out so she immediately leaned down and blew a raspberry there, "Yes she dooooes!" She sang.
“NAHAHAHEHEHEEE!” Wanda squealed out, sucking her belly in as she shoved her shirt down. “OKAHAHAY WEHEHE GOTTA GOHOHO!”
Natasha grinned, "Awww just too ticklish for your own good," but stood up with her, "Okay, let's go," she smiled and rubbed her back.
“Do you think she’s gonna be okay?” Wanda asked as she locked up the safe house, walking back to the hotel with Nat.
"I do, she has our contact info if she ever needs anything," The Black Widow reassured. Wanda nodded, feeling a little nervous for her as they finally returned to the hotel, the sound of laughter coming from the inside of their room.
"Give me the bar of chocolate Kate Bishop!" The blonde Widow yelled playful and was shaking into her ribs, making Kate shriek with laughter and shake her head.
Wanda looked at Natasha with raised eyebrows. “Ready to see what the heck is going on in there?” The redhead chuckled and nodded before opening the door and joining in the chaos.

hi! i love your work and was wondering if you’d write a one shot where reader is thor’s younger sister and it’s her first time visiting earth. she’s clueless and doesn’t know how anything works 😩 wanda and nat get super smitten and eventually fall for the reader 😳 can we also get some protective big sister hela ♥️♥️♥️
Goodbye forever..
Pairing: Natasha x Wanda x Reader
Warning: Language, fluff, little bit of angst :3
Summary: First time visiting a place and being left by your brother, Thor for safety, falling into hands of Natasha and Wanda, will they help you adapt?
Word count: 4.1k
My requests are always open so feel more than welcome to pop in a suggestion for the next story :3
⸻⸻⋙☸🗲⋘⸻⸻
"Asgard is in danger at the moment so I had to bring her down here Stark" Thor explained as you stood not far from him as you looked around.
"That's not what I'm saying, she doesn't know anything here and I can't babysit her, I am a busy man if you haven't noticed" Tony raised his concerns.
"I'm not asking you to babysit her, all I need is for to stay here until Asgard is clear from whatever is putting it in danger" Thor had that charm at convincing people to what he wants, which was working on Tony.
"What if she leaves or something? Or accidently hurts someone with her powers, she's still young and doesn't know her full strength" Tony was sitting down as he slowly started to crack, but there were doubts.
Thor looked back at you as you stared at the one of the tools that were laying around "She is young but she has been trained by me and Loki but if you're still worried, Wanda knows how to control her powers so she can train her and just keep an eye out. She is the strongest so she can easily over power her"
There was a moment of silence as Tony thought "Okay, I will brief Wanda about this"
Thor smiled widely as he was quick to give the rather smaller man a hug "I will be back as soon as possible"
Tony nodded with a small smile himself as he asked for Wanda, Thor turned towards you and took couple steps towards you which caught your attention "Y/n"
You looked at him with a smile "Brother"
"You'll be staying here for now until I came back from Asgard" He place his hand on your shoulder.
"I could help you fight in Asgard, you don't need to leave me here" Convincing Thor was a lot more harder than anyone really thought.
"We already spoke about this Y/n and you know my answer to that, I will try to visit but until then I'm ordering you to stay here and you can't leave" Thor stood straight as he slightly tensed when this was mentioned again.
You nodded, it's not like you had a choice and he nodded back "Good" Just in time Wanda walked in as she saw Thor since he was blocking you from her view, he turned with a smile at her sight, to which Tony walked out.
He hugged you "They will take care of you don't worry"
You nodded once again as you let a tear slide down your cheek, this was a big change, you didn't know anyone here and you was slightly afraid but only slightly.
He moved to the side to which now Wanda had a full view on you "Wanda, that's Y/n, you'll be training her. They will brief you now I have to go" Tony explained as he walked out.
Wanda raised her eyebrows at Tony but her gaze shifted to you and Thor to which she took couple steps, Thor rolled his eyes at Tony "Well anyways, this is Y/n as Tony said, she will be staying here for some time before I came back so I just need you to keep an eye out and keep her out of trouble so Tony doesn't try to kill me"
Wanda nodded as she smiled at you "Okay, that's not a problem, If I understood from what Tony said I will be training her?"
He nodded "Yes, she has powers even though she has them under control but just in case, just give her some tips or something"
Wanda wanted to know why you were here but she didn't want to cross any lines, she will find out if you tell her and that's what she will stick to.
"Well I have to go.." He stated as he awkwardly waited for Wanda to stop staring at you.
"Okay, I will show her around then" Wanda looked at Thor with a smile as he nodded, he gave you the last hug and walked off.
You followed Wanda around as she showed you everything, your room, meeting room, party room, training room, anything that she knew of, the last was the living room where most of the team was.
No one knew you were Thor's sister and you didn't know they didn't know so you just went along with it, as soon as you walked into the living room, the TV caught your attention.
Wanda stood near the kitchen as she faced you "Well this is the living room where the team usually relaxes after missions"
"And there is the kitchen to make food, usually I cook since they can barely make toast without burning it" She pointed towards the door that led to the kitchen.
You looked and smiled "Thank you, I think I understand everything now"
She nodded "Well if you have any questions, you can ask me"
This pulled the teams attention toward Wanda, their eyes landed on you and they quickly gathered around the two of you "Who is this?" Steve asked as he crossed his arms.
"This is Y/n, Thor brought her here from Asgard for the time being, so she will be staying with us" Wanda simply explained.
They all nodded and Wanda asked again "So Y/n do you have any questions?"
You nodded with a small smile "Yes, why are there people stuck in a box?"
Natasha frowned in confusion "People stuck in a box?"
You nodded as you pointed towards the TV "There, they seem to be frozen"
Natasha along with everyone looked over to see what you were talking about, Natasha tried her best to keep her chuckle in as she looked back at you "It's a TV, this is already recorded so we are just watching back"
Your lips turned into a perfect O shape as you nodded "Oh that's definitely new"
Sam held his face as he stared at you "You don't have TV's in Asgard?!"
You shook your head "That is not a thing, no. We have advanced technology there"
"Well, besides that I'm Steve" He reached his hand out for you, you looked at Wanda a little clueless to which she giggled slightly and showed you what to do.
You smiled widely at the hand shake, and then moved to Sam and Bucky and Bruce, they all shook your hand but when it came to Natasha, you leaned down and kiss her hand as she introduced herself.
They all stared at you with shock, Natasha didn't pull away which was more of a shock for the team, you turned back as you looked at the team "Is this not normal for people to do?"
They shook their head with awkward smiles "Not really, unless you're are rich and you're looking for a business deal"
You nodded slowly and looked over at Wanda "Don't worry I will teach you everything"
You gave a quick nod as you excused yourself to go back to your room, to which the team went back to watching the movie but Natasha lingered near Wanda.
"What is it Natasha?" Wanda asked as she knew it was her.
"Do you mind me tagging along?" The redhead didn't waste any time.
Wanda looked at her with her brows raised "Really? But why?"
She shrugged "I have nothing else to do"
Wanda tilted her head "Didn't you just tell the team you were overloaded with mission reports?"
"Well they aren't interesting unlike our new female recruitment" Natasha leaned on a door frame as a small smirk made it's way to her lips.
"Yeah okay, it will be easier with another person around" Wanda nodded to agree and started to prepare things to cook.
⸻⸻⋙☸🗲⋘⸻⸻
For few weeks, Natasha and Wanda trained and taught you how to be more human, which you really appreciated. It wasn't as bad as you thought this stay would be, you grew fond of the two women quite quickly.
The witch and the former assassin felt the same, well they were more aware of what those feelings were but for you it was a lot more harder to understand why you wanted to spend more time with them than the rest of the group.
The two women started to fall in love with you and each time it was harder to hide. The team had their suspicions to which they were confirmed each time.
There was this one time...
"Okay, we need to somehow get some clothes for Y/n" Tony stated as he tried to think of a loophole.
You was standing in front of him, being quiet and just waiting for them to come up with a solution, your attention shifted to Steve "We can always just go shopping with Y/n"
Bucky raised his brows at Steve "As if you know anything about women's fashion"
Steve frowned "I rather think of myself as an expert"
Sam laughed "Yeah an expert in messing up, she would look like fashion show gone wrong"
Tony even manged to crack a smile at the comment "Sorry Steve but no"
Steve dramatically huffed "You guys are so mean, you need to give me a chance"
A voice spoke up from behind them "Give you a chance for what Steve?"
You turned around at the familiar voice, as you saw Wanda and Natasha walk in, a smile spread across your lips at the sight of them and you waved at them and quickly going back to your serious face after they wave back.
"It seems like Steve wants to buy me clothes" You spoke up for the first time since you was called in her.
"That's a terrible idea" Natasha spoke up this time as she walked past Steve with Wanda and stood next to you.
"Thanks for the support Romanoff" Steve sounded offended at the comment, earning a laugh from Wanda.
"You know what, just leave it up to us Tony, we will take care of this little issue" Wanda proposed the idea to which Tony quickly agreed and went on with his little project.
And so Wanda and Natasha snuck you out and went on a shopping spree to find you better clothes. You looked like you were from the medieval rather than from this century so a new wardrobe was in desperate need.
You ended up buying a lot of clothes and decided to explore a bit before coming back, you had like 10 bags in one hand and it was still light to you, it was pretty impressive and definitely Natasha with Wanda admired the way your muscles would flex.
The amount of dirty jokes Natasha had to swallow down, Wanda didn't even need to look into her mind, she was thinking the same thing.
You stopped abruptly as you looked at the creature before you "Stay behind I will protect both of you"
Natasha nearly bumped into you to which she peeked to see what you were talking about "Protect from what Y/n?"
"That creature" You narrowed at the dog that was walking lazily with it tongue out.
Wanda looked at Natasha with a smile at how cute you were with your knowledge "It's a dog, not a creature Y/n/n"
You looked over at Wanda "A dog? It wont try to attack us?"
She shook her head with a smile, she pulled the woman's attention who was walking the dog "Sorry, do you think my friend can pet your cute dog?"
The woman was quick to agree with a big smile across her lips, Natasha kneeled down and you followed her lead, she placed her hand over yours, you felt goose bumps at the contact and she placed your hand on the dogs head.
"See, it just loves pets" Natasha spoke softly to you as she watched your reaction.
You were sceptic at first but gently petted the little dog, a smile slowly appeared across your lips as you looked over to Natasha, inches away from her face, if heart eyes were real Natasha would definitely have them in that moment.
"It's harmless.." You stated out practically with disbelief.
Wanda smiled as she placed her hand on your shoulder, she felt her heart melt at the scene in front of her "Okay, let's go and grab something to eat"
You looked at the woman in front of you and thanked her politely "She really trained that creature very well"
"Why do you call it a creature?" Wanda asked curiously as she linked her arm with yours and so did Natasha.
"Well in Asgard we have Fenris Wolf, they are a lot bigger but very violent and it did look like Fenris so I was worried it would try to hurt you both"
They were melting, the way you felt like you had to protect them from a Fenris Wolf and put yourself in danger first, it was adorable and there was slight worry in your tone.
"Well" Wanda spoke with a huge smile "Thank you for worrying"
You smiled back and looked between the two women who were on either of your side "You shouldn't thank me, ladies should be treated like treasure"
An innocently precious look settled across the two women's faces at your words, their eyes filled with adoration and love, you were perfect and that's what they loved about you.
Or this time...
You had woke up pretty early, having your mind set to preparing breakfast for the two redheads, you wanted to do something nice for how they both took care of you and always made sure that you felt a little bit less loner here.
You knew how to cook but it was a little difficult to make anything here with earth ingredients, that didn't mean you would give up, you make sure Natasha and Wanda taught you how to use something called internet, you managed to search up videos and taught yourself how to make food.
With a smile at your success, you delivered your food to their beds, Natasha and Wanda shared a room together which made it a lot easier to give them your hard worked breakfast.
You memorized the way they did their coffee and quietly walked inside their bedroom, with food and coffee in hand. You placed it down as you slowly started to wake the women in bed.
Wanda was quicker to wake up, she sat up as she stared at you "What is wrong Y/n/n?"
Natasha slowly stirred as she opened one eye and looked at you and half awake Wanda, she never was a morning person so she groaned at being woken up.
"I have made food for my two favourite ladies" You stated simple with a innocent smile.
Wanda rubbed her eyes and finally was able to take in the smell and the sight of the food, it was waffles with blueberries and whipped cream, it was both of their favourite.
She looked at you again "Thank you Y/n/n"
She looked over at Natasha who had a smile but her eyes were shut "Yeah thank you Y/n I really appreciate food in bed"
"You welcome Lady Natasha"
Wanda giggled at how you called her "You didn't have to do this"
You stood up as you walked over to the food and give Wanda her plate and Natasha as well "Nonsense, I will be forever grateful how yous have treated me, with most care and respect so I shall give back something as well"
Natasha smirked "You should definitely feed me if you want to give back something"
Wanda raised her brows at Natasha's comment to which you proceed at her command "Anything you wish for Lady Natasha"
Natasha chuckled as she waved her hand to dismiss you "I was joking Y/n but I appreciate your dedication"
"You are most certainly welcome" You bowed down in front of them, earning nods and slight giggles.
This was just a pure moment between the three of you, something that the redheads treasured and adored, it was those moments that made them realise how important you had become to their simple lives, you bright them up and surprise them each time which was new compared to the boring days on earth.
If we were to go through all of the times, we would be here for days, but the point has been made to why the team had their suspicions.
Weeks turned into months and you definitely was better and had a better grasp on your powers, you learnt their language properly and slang which made expressing a lot more easier.
The only thing you struggled was your feelings, asking was a lot more complicated since you didn't quite understand what you should even ask, you wanted to just be with them and when you learnt about something called kissing, it never left your mind.
To understand it better you searched everything they had on kissing on the internet, realising it's something you wanted to do, something you wanted to experience with Wanda and Natasha.
So now that you understood that, you were determent to ask about it to Wanda and Natasha, making your way towards the meeting room where they were.
You opened the door and almost immediately they looked up at you "Y/n/n what brings you here"
You felt hot just at them looking at you "Lady Natasha, Lady Wanda" You bowed as you always did.
Natasha noticed your nervous to which she stood up and Wanda followed, she walked over to you with a soft smile "Why are you nervous Y/n?"
You smiled nervously at her "I wanted to talk"
Wanda followed right after with a soft smile just like Natasha's "What do you want to talk about Darling" They slightly trapped you in between them which you didn't mind at all.
You took a deep breath and just as words were about to leave your mouth, a familiar voice to you spoke up but to the redheads it was unknown "There you are Y/n"
You turned to face the voice as Natasha took a step in front of you along with Wanda, her hands ready to fire away with red mist, what took them off guard was your question "Sister Hela?"
They looked back at you with shocked faces, the tall woman stood in the same place but just opened her arms for you, to which you gladly took, you hugged her.
Living on earth for long and having company made you forget that Asgard even existed in the first place "What are you doing here?"
"I will get to that in a second, right now I want to know why these two trapped you?" The protective sister was activated as she death stared the two women in front of her.
You pulled away from Hela as you looked in the direction of the two redheads "They didn't trap me, they are cool don't worry"
"Cool?" Hela questioned as she raised her brows at you "Is this the language they teach on earth?"
She shook her head "I knew your brother did a mistake taking you here"
Natasha crossed her arms "I'm sorry but who are you?"
She looked with no emotions at Natasha "Hela Goddess of death?"
"Doesn't ring a bell" Natasha spat out with a cold glare.
"Thor's sister?" She answered but more in a question tone.
Wanda looked from you to Hela as realisation hit her "If you are Thor's sister... And Y/n is your younger sister.. That means Thor is Y/n's brother"
You nodded simply "Yes, I thought everyone knew"
Wanda facepalmed herself "Of course! That's why you were so clueless of everything on earth and your powers! You are a goddess"
Wanda looked up at you with the most huge smile anyone had witnesses, she was impressed and surprised at her discovery, Natasha spoke up with a smile "Damn she's more badass than we thought"
"Well, this interaction seems nice but I'm here because it's safe to come back to Asgard, Thor sent me to fetch you" Hela cut in before this can go any further.
You looked at Hela "Asgard is safe?"
She nodded with a smile "Yes, you can come back home"
Those smiles that were on the redheads lips, fell almost instantly at Hela's words. They didn't want to lose you, there was an obvious pain in their hearts at this news but they decided to stay strong.
You nodded at her "Is brother Thor here?"
"Yes, I believe he is talking with some people inside, so now let's go so you can say your goodbyes with everyone" She spoke up as she placed her hand on your shoulder.
"Okay sister" You agreed as you looked over at Natasha and Wanda.
"We are right behind you Y/n/n" Wanda spoke up through the pain in her throat, she was going to break and she didn't want you to see.
You nodded and your sister led you towards the rest of the people, you hugged Thor as you commented "Nice haircut, I really like it"
He laughed "Thank you Y/n, the long hair was really hard to fight with"
You nodded and pulled away, so you started off by saying goodbye to everyone, they had grown pretty attached to you and your weird outbursts, they grown to love you as you and your food.
The last two people that were left were Natasha and Wanda, you walked over to them. You wished you had realised what you felt towards them and acted on it before you had to come back.
They both hugged you, each face on your shoulders as you whispered "I wish I could stay more but it isn't my choice"
Natasha had a sad smile as she whispered back "Everyone has a choice детка (baby)"
You pulled away and looked at Wanda who let tears finally slide down her face, you wiped it with your thumb as you looked into her eyes "I will miss yous"
Wanda nodded as she chocked out "We will miss you too, make sure to visit more often"
You nodded and finally returned next to your brother and sister, you couldn't stop your heart practically breaking at the sight of Wanda's eyes looking like a waterfall, whilst Natasha tried to act strong.
It felt like everything was muted until Thor spoke up "Have you gathered everything important Y/n?"
You looked up at him, in this moment you knew what to do "No"
He tilted his head "Well then go bring that important thing to take with us"
"It's impossible" You stated.
"How so?"
You looked over at Hela who had a proud smile across her lips "Are you sure Y/n?"
You nodded as you wiped a tear from your cheek "Okay, what's happening that I don't know off"
"Forgive me brother but I will not go to Asgard because I'm not leaving what's important to me" You spoke up with more confidence.
There was a gasp from practically everyone in the room but you only heard Wanda's "I am staying here because this has became my home when you left"
You looked back at the two redheads "I don't want to leave them because they are important to me and I think I might have feelings for them"
Thor had a smile across his face so when you finally looked back at him, he spoke "Okay Y/n, I'm glad you are able to decide for yourself and what you need"
His gaze shifted to the Russian and the Sokovian "I'm glad you found a home in these two"
You looked back with a smile as you made your way towards them and finally blurred out "I want to kiss yous"
Wanda giggled whole heartedly as your outburst as Natasha giggled with her brows raised perfectly "Are you sure?"
"You said everyone has a choice, so I chose to want to kiss the both of you" You said in one sentence so nervously to which Natasha proudly smiled and pulled you into her face, kissing you and you kissed her back gently, just like you were.
You pulled away and instantly Wanda collided her lips with yours, guiding you and preventing herself from deepening the kiss in front of everyone, she pulls away, leaving you wanting more, just like whenever you would spend your time with them.
"Okay okay, enough" Hela spoke up with slight disgust in her voice, causing the three of you to look over and turn the whole room into giggles.
"But I swear if my little sister ends up heartbroken, I will haunt you two redheads to the rest of your life" There was seriousness in Hela's tone and they both respectfully nodded, acknowledging Hela's words.
This time you were saying goodbye, not to the people you met here but to your previous life and welcoming the new beginning with open arms....

Bucky Barnes x Reader - Keep My Distance
And I will make sure to keep my distance, Say I love you when you're not listening, How long can we keep this up? Christina Perri – Distance
Y/N is never certain of anything. Except this: She is in love with Bucky Barnes. And she can never tell him. But what if the truth slips out?
"Distance" by Christina Perri came on and this bitch was inspired. Half a day of frantic typing later and I give you... *gestures vaguely at 200 pounds of refined sugar* this. Enjoy?
Warnings: angst galore
Word Count: ~2500
I’ve never been a person of certainty. I let other people choose for me at restaurants to avoid the overwhelming selection on the menu. I keep scrolling through Netflix until I fall asleep before settling on anything to watch. I fail hopelessly at finding something to do on our rare days off at the compound. I’m the person who weighs options until they crush her. But there is a singular thing I am absolutely certain of: I’m in love with James Buchanan Barnes. Ever since my first day with the team when his ocean eyes settled on me during Tony’s little introduction speech that had me blushing profusely. I hated being the center of attention. But God, did I love Bucky’s attention. The glimmer in his eyes while a faint smile clung to his lips. And when he talked to me after, earnestly listening to my stories, my name rolling gently off his tongue – I was a goner. He makes me feel flustered yet calm, has my back in fights and is not afraid to put his life into my hands. Our trust in each other has often been my only anchor when we’re huddled in darkness somewhere, riddled with tension and fear as menacing enemies draw close. And it is this unbound trust that I would never dare to break. His sleepy morning smiles in the kitchen, his sarcastic quips during training sessions — he is so perfectly at ease around me, more comfortable in our friendship than with anyone else at the compound. No matter how it tears me up inside to tiptoe around invisible lines, how could I ever risk destroying that? Risk losing him? So I confess my feelings over and over when he is not around to hear. “I love you.” I whisper it into the dark when I lie alone in bed. I let the words be smothered by steaming showers. I mouth them silently as I pour him coffee in the morning while he’s making my favorite cereal. I try to get it out of my system, waste the words on nothing so they won’t slip from my mouth in an unguarded moment, won’t scare him away with their heaviness and unrequited longing. He cares deeply about me, I know he does. But he’s never given me the slightest indication that he wants to be something other than friends, colleagues, companions. And I try to be grateful that I get to be all those things to the man who haunts my every dream and nightmare.
Steve, Bucky and I have gathered in the training room for our daily session, but as much as I try to focus on my exercises, my gaze keeps wandering over to Bucky. It’s been a hectic couple of weeks and we’ve mostly been on separate missions, so missing him has only been adding fuel to the fire of my complicated emotions. “Y/N, heads up!” Steve throws a heavy medicine ball at me with frightening speed and I don’t manage to catch it before it barrels straight into my forehead. I topple over from the impact, hissing at the sharp pain shooting through my head and up my tailbone. Within seconds Steve is by my side, golden boy face frowning in concern. “I’m so sorry, you usually catch that thing without even looking.” “It’s not your fault, I just–“ “What the hell, Rogers?” Bucky presses the words through gritted teeth as he sinks to the ground before me, his eyes inspecting mine anxiously. “I was distracted, he didn’t mean to…” My words come out slightly slurred and I can barely hear them over the ringing in my ears. The overhead neon lights are suddenly painfully bright and nausea’s rising in my throat. “Y/N, can you hear me?” Any traces of anger have left Bucky’s voice, it’s all fear and worry now. I try to look up at him, but his face shifts in and out of focus. “I think… I… have a con… concussion,” I manage before closing my eyes to shield them from the unforgiving light. “Shh, it’s okay. No more talking, sweetheart. I’ll take you to the medical wing.” Bucky’s arms slide around me to gently lift me up and I wish I could enjoy his perfect scent and warmth instead of trying my hardest not to vomit. “I can carry her, Buck.” “You’ve done enough.” Steve tries to say something but Bucky is already heading towards the doors. When we’re out in the hallway I suddenly panic. The thought of the brightly-lit medical wing with its beeping machines and horrid smell of disinfectant makes my stomach turn. It’s the very last place I want to be right now. “Please… just take me to my room.” “You need a doctor to have a look at you, darling.” “No, I just want my own bed, please. Please, James.” His breath hitches. I rarely call him by his given name. Not unless I’m dead serious about something. “Y/N, that was a pretty bad hit and you’re obviously out of it, I–“ “Take me to my room and call for the doctor.” It’s getting harder to form words but Bucky understands and finally gives in. “Fine. But I’m gonna stay with you.” I can’t help the tiny smile forming on my lips.
“There you go.” Bucky lays me down on the bed, careful as if might just break underneath his fingers. The dim room and soft mattress are heavenly but my heart immediately aches at the loss of his body around mine. He slips off my shoes, then pulls the blanket over me. His hand cups my face, thumb briefly caressing my cheek. Despite the splitting headache and queasiness I practically melt into his palm. “I need you to stay awake, Y/N. Can you do that for me? I’m gonna call the doctor now.” I hum faintly, trying not to let my eyes flutter closed. My brain tunes out his hushed voice as he makes the call and only registers the dipping of the bed when he sits down next to me. “You still with me, sweetheart?” I’m only just now noticing his pet names. He never calls me by anything other than my first or last name. Sometimes an obnoxious nickname he makes up on the spot. But never this. “Yeah,” I whisper. “Why were you so distracted anyway? You’re usually so focused during workouts.” I swallow. “I don’t know,” I say unconvincingly. “But I’ll be fine. You’ve seen me hurt before, ‘s all good.” My words are getting slurred again. “Yeah, but just the occasional cut or sprain, nothing like this. You’re scaring me.” The sudden vulnerability in his voice punctures my heart. My fingers fumble around before finding his and linking them loosely. “I’m not scared. I’m never scared as long as you’re there,” I mumble. “Y/N…” A knock on the door startles us both. Bucky clears his throat. “Come in.” A middle-aged woman enters. I recognize her as the new doctor. “Hi, Miss Y/L/N. I hear you’ve had a run-in with Captain America?”
Endless tests later the doctor is giving me a quizzical look. “It’s only a mild concussion. But I’d still like to take you to the medical wing to keep you under observation.” “No, I’m fine. Tell her, Buck.” I’m exhausted from the medical exam and I’ve never longed for sleep so much in my life. Bucky smiles faintly. “I’ll stay with her. I can stay awake for a couple of days, no problem.” “This is certainly an interesting new workplace.” The doctor sighs. “Fine then. I’ll be back to check on her regularly. Make sure she gets plenty of rest. No strenuous mental activities, no pain killers. And if any of the symptoms worsen, call me immediately.” “Yes, ma’am.” “Feel better, Miss Y/L/N.” I nod and finally let my heavy eyelids slide shut as she leaves. “Are you comfortable? Warm enough?” “Yeah.” He sits back down, pleasant heat radiating off of him. His hand softly strokes my hair and I silently thank Steve for the stupid accident. Bucky might never get this close to me again and I revel in his tender affection, no matter how fleeting. Sleep is closing in on me fast, fogging my brain. My last tether to the world is his gentle touch. And then my lips curve around the familiar words, spoken so often they flow like honey. “I love you.” Bucky’s little gasp almost yanks me back into reality, but before I can panic or even fathom what I’ve done, slumber is crashing over me like a tidal wave, pulling me deeply into unconscious bliss.
I wake to Bucky holding my hand, his thumb drawing mindless circles over my knuckles. He’s staring off into the middle distance, lost in thought. My heart speeds up at the feeling of his warm fingers on mine. What on earth…? “Buck?” My voice is raspy and he flinches. Then his eyes lock on mine, immediately darkening with concern. “How are you feeling?” “My head hurts. Bit sick as well. Did something happen?” His features slip but he quickly composes himself. “You don’t remember?” I rummage through my brain, trying to hold onto fuzzy images. The headache worsens and I groan a little. “There was… Steve. And a ball?” “Yeah, that idiot knocked you out with a medicine ball. I’m gonna kill him for that later.” I chuckle lightly. “Must’ve looked so stupid. Like a cartoon character getting whacked with an anvil or something.” A grin spreads over Bucky’s face. “Kinda did actually. And stubborn as you are you didn’t want to go the medical wing, so I brought you here.” “Right, and the doctor came to see me. She was nice.” He nods and reaches for a glass of water on the nightstand. I take it gratefully. He watches me drink, examining me closely. “You seem a little better. But you’ll need to take it easy for a few days.” “I know.” It feels like something has shifted between us, almost imperceptibly. Something in his gaze is a shade too intense, too intimate. “I could read to you for a bit if you’d like.” Bucky points to the book on my nightstand. It’s one of his. Since he knows that I struggle to settle on books to read, he always brings me his after he’s finished. They never disappoint and it’s one of the many things I cherish about him. “I’d love that.” He winces at the words and my brow creases. “You okay?” His teeth are buried deep into his bottom lip, his eyes glued to the floor. And although the light is dim I can make out the blush dusting his cheeks. Seconds pass and I’m growing uneasy. “What’s wrong?” “Nothing. It’s silly, you were barely conscious, it was nothing…” “What was? Bucky, tell me.” He takes a deep, shuddering breath, then drags his gaze up to meet mine. “You told me you loved me, Y/N.” My face falls as hot and cold shivers race across my skin. Heart pounding, palms sweaty, I just lie there, staring up at my best friend who now knows my best-kept secret. “I– I’m so… I’m so sorry…” My mouth goes dry as I fumble for words. “I didn’t… I–“ “You didn’t mean it.” Something breaks in his eyes and only then do I realize what was residing there. Hope. “I didn’t mean to tell you,” I whisper. We both stop breathing. He is so close yet so far away and my whole body aches with shame and longing. “This doesn’t have to change anything between us. We can keep being friends. I’ve held it in for so long, I don’t mind–“ “How long?” “What?” “How long have you been feeling this way about me, Y/N?” A mess of emotions is flitting over his features and I have absolutely no idea what he’s thinking. “I… I think I fell for you that first day.” It sounds so pathetic. I wish I could just bury myself into the pillows and never come up for air again. And then he starts laughing. My cheeks are on fire and I want nothing more than for Steve to burst through the door and finish the job. Never have I made such a complete fool of myself. Bucky notices the look on my face and swiftly reaches for my hand. “No, sweetheart, I’m not laughing at you. Well, not just at you.” He laces his fingers with mine and my brain has stopped trying to process anything anymore. “We’re both such fucking idiots. Honestly, it’s absurd.” “I’m glad my misery is amusing to you but you’re making zero sense right now.” He lifts our entwined hands and places a soft kiss on the back of mine. “I fell for you that first day, too.” My head is spinning and I wonder if my concussion is worse than I thought and this is all just some wild hallucination. “You what?” “I love you, Y/N. I’m so madly in love with you.” “You… what?” He laughs again, his entire body trembling as he wipes away tears. “I don’t know if this is all just a little too much right now or if your poor brain is short-circuiting and we’ll have to do this all over again the next time you wake up.” I start laughing as well, completely incredulous. “You… You love me?” “Yes.” Bucky leans forward to press a kiss to my forehead. “Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes.” With every word he litters kisses all over my face and I start giggling at his beard tickling me and the purest form of happiness flooding through my veins. Finally, he cups my face in both hands, his eyes glowing with affection. “Can you say it again? Please?” I look up at his perfect features, delirious and reeling from everything that’s just happened. “I love you, James.” He briefly closes his eyes. “Again.” “I love you, I love you, I love–“ His lips capture mine in a fervent kiss and it's like fire and magic and coming home. My hands sink into his hair, pulling him further into me. He feels so much better than I could have ever imagined. So… real. After a while he breaks away with a huge grin, pressing his forehead against mine. We’re both panting. “I’m afraid that was way too much strenuous mental – and physical – activity.” His chuckle vibrates through me and I can’t help but smile. “Couldn’t care less.” “Good thing I care so much then.” Bucky gently pulls away from me and laughs at my little whine. Then he toes off his shoes and walks around the bed to slip under the blanket beside me. “Sleep, darling. I’m not going anywhere.” “Promise?” I say with a yawn as I snuggle into his chest. “Promise.”

Lights flickered in the meeting room of the compound, casting an eerie atmosphere over the place. It was just after midnight, every visitor who came to the compound begging for their families to be brought back had finally left, not without hurting Natasha’s soul on the way out.
She blamed herself for failing, for not being able to keep the Avengers together, she thought back to what happened a couple years ago between the team. If only she was able to prevent her family from splitting up, maybe some of them would still be here.
It’s the same routine every day for Natasha. Wake up on the couch in the meeting room, paper’s scattered all over the tables, plans and ideas that were burned down by reality. No matter how much she wanted her family to be brought back together, it was impossible.
She didn’t want to lose hope for the sake of the people she had failed.
She’d turn on every light in the compound, only to make it a routine to turn all of them off before she fell asleep, wanting to pretend for a little while that her family were still with her.
It’s been years since Thanos had won, since Tony was brought back to Earth and left a part of his damaged heart with Steve, she hasn’t seen him in almost two years. Steve himself was a blur, he’d be seen in one place and another within the same day, incapable of sitting still. And you, well it was a struggle to keep in contact with you because other than the widow herself, you were the only person who was able to not be tracked down when you didn’t want to be found.
At first everyone did indeed keep in touch, she visited the family when Morgan was born, visiting the three of them regularly whilst Steve occasionally dropped by the Compound. Natasha had to stop herself from questioning the ex Avengers about the whereabouts of you, who disappeared right after Tony was found.
You first met whilst Nat was undercover at Stark Industries, A mission went sideways and somehow you helped the Widow out of the mess that was created. It only took a couple days before Tony discovered your abilities and welcomed you in his home with open arms, albeit you were significantly younger than the rest, only eighteen when you had your first mission, the rest of the Avengers did everything in their power to protect you.
Ever since Thanos won and Tony was presumed to be dead, you acted differently. Almost distant. Avoiding contact with anyone, keeping to yourself rather than mourning together with the rest of the Avengers, the only person you’d talk to was Natasha and even that was rare.
“Hey моя любовь, done anything interesting lately?” Natasha questions as they finally meet up almost a year after she had seen you last.
You were wearing what seemed to be one of Sam’s old beaten up zip up sweaters from when the entire team used to live at the compound. You struggled in response, hands reaching up to fiddle with the string on the sweater, it was noticeable to the rest of the Avengers that you became less and less talkative as the years went past.
“Oh, sweet Angel.” Natasha whispered sympathetically, wanting nothing more to wrap you in her arms and never let go. All she wanted to do was to protect you, to make sure you'd never be afraid, she reached out and interlaced your fingers together, attempting to give some sort of comfort..
“It’s just-” You began, struggling to put thoughts into words, you wanted to tell Natasha everything that happened but couldn’t, you couldn’t find the right words to describe anything. How can you describe knowing the person they considered a brother is now gone? How can you recover from the pain of wondering whether the closest thing you had to a father was a floating corpse in space for a whole month before he was miraculously brought back to them.
Old Classmates? Gone. Majority of your friends? Either distant now due to blaming the Avengers for their families death or they're dead themselves. It’s hard to talk to someone and put these overwhelming feelings into words, whether they’re going to the same thing or not.
“Hey hey, it’s okay, take your time. I’m here for you, you know that right?” Natasha reassured, a laugh escaping her as you began to make comments about the new hairstyle in an attempt to change the subject.
“I really like it, you know.” You confessed, causing a grin to break out on Natasha’s face, you were grateful for the subject change, wanting nothing more but to forget the horrible things that occurred in the last few years.
“Well I’ll make sure to keep it like this, just for you моя любовь.”
Natasha vowed then and there that she’d do anything in her power to keep you safe and to bring your family back to you, she’d do anything to see the happiness you once had while you were surrounded with them, she’d tear herself up and destroy herself just for a chance of your happiness.
She knew how far she’d go for your happiness, and those same thoughts echoed in her mind as she cut the line that held her in between life and death, choosing the latter just for you.

This may be a weird ask, and you can delete it if you wanna, but I'm curious! :D
You know my character Shifter, right?
Which of your characters would really like them, and which would hate them, and which would be freaked out by them?
These were fun :3
Ghost and Aquarios like everyone, so them liking Shifter is kind of a given. Ghost doesn't seem to be afraid of much, so it's possible that the way Shifter functions doesn't really bother him. Of course, he can feel that Not Quite Right feeling from being around Shifter - the feeling that all is not what it seems. But Ghost is trusting, and he tends to approach new friends of any species in roughly the same manner: if I don't hurt you, you won't hurt me (hopefully). Aquarios is good at reading people based on verbal and tonal cues, so they would notice there was something off about Shifter very quickly. But at the same time, if they don't sense any ill intent from the way Shifter talks, it's probably fine.
I don't think anyone would really...hate them? Jude and Lillianna would probably make themselves nuisances to Shifter though. Jude has a deep distrust of anyone she hasn't met before, and it takes a long time to earn her trust. Until she trusts someone, she tends to hound them with questions about who they are, why they do things a certain way, and so on, and she does this if there is even something slightly weird about someone. Shifter wouldn't get a moment's peace. Lillianna would be a nuisance in a different way. She gets hung up on propriety and etiquette, and while she would notice the slightly wrong feeling about Shifter, she's likely to chalk it up to some sort of etiquette misstep. She also has a tendency to be kind of rude in the way she speaks. Shifter might end up hating her.
Freaked out and hate kind of got lumped together there, because if both Jude and Lillianna ever found out what Shifter is, they would be deeply disturbed. So! I'll tell you about two who would be fascinated by Shifter instead, if that's alright.
Toni and Dezyn would find Shifter very interesting, and both in very different ways. Toni is a scientist - what she doesn't understand, she takes apart until she does. Of course, she would never cut someone open without permission, but in her dogged pursuit of scientific knowledge, she can get a bit...overzealous. She's likely to ask uncomfortable questions with little regard for personal boundaries. Toni would be interested in Shifter in a "study under a microscope" kind of way. Dezyn would be interested in Shifter in a "kindred spirits" kind of way. He's something of an anomaly himself - he may be human, but he has powers whose origins are unknown. Are they paternal, passed down from his father's side? He may never know, because he's never known his father. Of course he knows there's something about Shifter that isn't right, and though Dezyn is a telepath, he'll let it be a mystery unless Shifter wants him to know; it's not nice to root around in peoples' pasts (looking at you, Jude). He's likely to stick his neck out for Shifter, and defend them against any verbal and physical attacks.

Darkest Secrets
Requested by @mcmorgan9794
Summary: Keeping this secret from Wanda has been hard, but you don't have a choice but to come clean when everything is brought to light.
Warnings: None
Word Count: 3,446
You’d always wanted to tell Wanda your deepest, darkest secret. You had been with her for well over a year, after all. A secret like the one you harboured wasn’t something that you should keep from someone you loved so dearly. But your secret was the ugliest part of yourself. It was something you hated, lurking deep within every inch of your body. It brewed in your blood and rested in your bones, uncontrolled at the best of times and unstoppable at the worst. It was a burden you’d never wanted to place upon the girl you loved.
Yet, keeping it from her hurt too. She’d look at you with those soft green eyes, spilling everything to you. Tears would stream down her cheeks as she’d tell you all about how much she hated the powers she’d been given. You’d hold her close and whisper soft words of comfort, wiping her tears away with the pad of your thumb, refusing to tell her you felt the same about your own. She would tell you everything. You wouldn’t tell her anything. You couldn’t tell her anything. She thought she was a monster. In reality, you were the monster. If she knew that, her heart would shatter.
Sometimes, these facts were all you could think about. It was the quiet moments. Wanda was away getting coffee with Natasha, Tony and Bruce were in the lab, Thor was on Asgard, and Clint was home with his family. You were left alone at the compound. You hardly ventured out of your own room. While silence screamed in the dark room, you tried to distract yourself with a book or a movie, but it didn’t last. Instead, the weight of your secret was crushing the oxygen out of your lungs. It always did. You longed to have Wanda back, to have her by your side and thread your fingers through hers. She didn’t know how agonizing solitude could be.
You curled up in your armchair, pulling your knees up to your chest and curling your arms around them. You squeezed your eyes shut, wishing you could will the overwhelming thoughts out of your head. They were screaming at you. They were reminding you of the monster that lay dormant in your very soul, cackling as they pushed images of what you were capable of. Then you imagined Wanda. You could do her so much harm and she didn’t even know it. Were you putting her in danger every day you lay by her side? You swallowed as you tried to force back the tears.
The dark thoughts came next. They always did. You wondered how much better off the world would be without you. You wondered how much better off she would be without you. She loved you. Losing you would break her heart, but she’d be okay eventually. If you hurt her in the way only you knew you were capable of, you knew she would never be okay again. None of them would. The dam broke and tears spilled down your cheeks. Hurting Wanda Maximoff would kill you.
And as you were about to imagine all the ways you could take yourself and your monster out of this world, your phone rang.
You grabbed the phone off the table, wiping the tears from your eyes with the back of your hand. You took a steadying breath before you even dared look down at the screen. The first thing you noticed wasn’t the person who was calling, but the time. It hadn’t felt like it had been as long as it had since the other had left you alone in the compound. The darkness in your head could do that. You lost track of time often when you reached that place. An hour could pass, then two, and then six.
It was Natasha’s face that was flashing on your screen. Worry filled your gut. Was Wanda okay? She had to be okay. You forced a deep breath in, and then out. Her phone had probably died. The Sokovian was notorious for remembering to plug the charger into her phone, but forgetting to plug it into the wall on the other end. After reminding yourself of that a few times, you finally found the ability to slide the answer button and hold the phone up to your ear.
“Hey.”
“Thank god,” Natasha’s voice said. There was a loud screech in the background, the sound of metal grinding against metal. “Listen you need to get to the hospital.”
Your heart dropped into your stomach. Oxygen caught in your throat and you were barely able to let words squeeze past the lump that had formed. “The hospital?”
“The ambulance is almost there. She’s hurt bad. Don’t come anywhere near Midtown.”
You didn’t even bother to respond. In fact, you didn’t even bother to hang up the phone. You simply slammed it down on the table that you’d only just picked it up from, heading for the elevator. A million thoughts were racing through your head. There were so many emotions tugging at your heart that you could hardly decipher one from the next. Fear, anger, and worry were all fighting to take over every one of your senses. You couldn’t breathe. It was as if on autopilot that you made it to the garage and hotwired one of Tony’s cars.
Scenery was flashing by you, mere streaks outside the windows of the car. The pedal was on the floor beneath your foot. You flexed your fingers; knuckles having gone white with the force of your grip on the steering wheel. Your brain was showing you visuals of Wanda lying on the table, shining green eyes dulled in the absence of life. Head too wrapped up in the thoughts that ran through it, you didn’t realize you weren’t headed for the hospital at all. You were headed toward midtown, exactly where Natasha had told you not to go.
You’d never been an Avenger. You would never be an Avenger. Maybe it was selfish, refusing to help others when you had the ability to. People died and you might have been able to stop it. Your own powers scared you too much to allow you to. It was something you’d decided long ago. The lives of every civilian that you could have saved were worth it. You couldn’t unleash that sinister thing that lived inside you. Yet, here you were, rushing toward the fight like you were Tony Stark in his suit of armour, or Steve Rogers with a vibranium shield strapped to your back.
The car screeched as you slammed your foot down on the brake. The seatbelt dug so hard into your ribs that you weren’t sure a few hadn’t snapped beneath the pressure. The adrenaline pumping through your veins assured you wouldn’t feel it even if they did. You fought to keep your breathing under control as you stepped out of the car and took in the destruction around you. Someone here had hurt Wanda, and, honestly, you couldn’t find it in you to care which one it had been. You’d kill every single one.
Gravel and rubble crunched beneath your feet as you ventured further and further into the warzone that had broken out in Midtown New York. They looked human, whoever they were. They were armed to the teeth and attacking every moving thing in sight. None of them had noticed you yet. That was better for both of you, for the time being. You shut your eyes for a brief moment and listen to the sounds around you. Civilians were screaming and car alarms were blaring and explosions roared. Then there was running, and it stopped at your side.
“I told you not to come here. Wanda’s at the hospital.”
You opened your eyes. Natasha was at your side. Blood trickled down her temple, staining her pale skin. She flinched as she put weight on her left leg to move a little closer to you. Wanda might have been the woman you called your own, but the Avengers were your family. Seeing one of them hurting in the way Natasha was only stoked the fire that was beginning to burn hotter and hotter inside of you. Your gaze moved away from her and back to the oncoming forces. They were getting closer.
“How did you know I was here?”
“Tony’s cars have trackers. We got an alert the second you left the compound and another as you came here. Get to the hospital.”
But you’d already stopped listening. The incoming threat had gotten close enough to notice you now. Green eyes followed your gaze until she, too, noticed the men approaching the two of you. She raised her arm, the gun still clutched tight in her grip. You could tell by the bewildered expression on her face that she hadn’t at all been expecting you to stop her. Your hand grabbed her wrist, lowering her arm until it was back against her side. You suspected it was the crimson gleam in your eyes that was the only thing that was keeping her weapon lowered.
You turned back to her once more. Surprise was written across every feature on her face… no, it was fear. She was afraid. She should be scared of you. Your skin began to blacken as you began to fade into nothing. Her eyes were still able to find yours, glowing bright as ever. She flinched when you reached out, backing up as you reached for her hand in an attempt for a final goodbye. You bowed your head, wishing she’d let you feel the warmth of her skin beneath your hand one final time.
“I’m sorry, Natasha.”
Then you turned away from her. The last of your human form faded away. It was hard to make out any shape in the tall, dark shadow that you’d become. Haunting golden eyes cast to the men that were racing toward you. As if to match the scene, a dark cloud rolled in front of the sun. Its shadow cast down onto the city, the darkness concealing you even further and making your eyes glow seemingly brighter. They continued to approach. They didn’t know their mistake. You did. You were dangerous at any time. You were more dangerous now that they’d hurt the person you loved more than you had ever loved before.
You raised your arms into the sky, feet leaving the ground. When your feet had been touching the concrete below them, you’d already been towering over the oncoming men. Now, you looked down upon them. Guns raised to where you hovered in the sky. It was almost comical. One of them screamed, and suddenly they were all firing. Their bullets tore through you, yet they didn’t touch you. Your head tilted to the side ever so slightly as an unsettling grin appeared in your dark shadow, disrupted by the whiz of dozens of bullets flying through it.
“Knock knock,” you said. Even your voice was sinister, a deep rumble that felt like it emanated from every direction, or deep inside of any listener.
The laughter that burst from their chests was strange, at first. It seemed out of place in such a setting. Confusion flickered across each of their faces. Then they laughed harder, and harder. Guns fell to the ground and they howled with laughter, but it contrasted their eyes. There was no sparkle of amusement in even one. It was pure, unbridled fear that you could see shining in them. One by one they fell to their knees, clawing at their throats as they tried to stop. One had tears streaming down his cheeks as he covered his ears, trying to block out the sounds that were torn from his own throat.
They couldn’t get in their comms to tell their men to keep away.
The next group that came for you met the same fate. Soon they, too, were on the ground. You got some sort of sick satisfaction as you watched them fall, unable to control their bodies. You’d taken over, grabbing hold of their heads and their bodies. You’d grabbed onto their lungs and ripped laughter from their chests, absolutely uncontrollable. When they lost control of that, that was when the fear started to take over. Fear would grip at them; you could feel it emanating off them. It would only get worse. You’d watched men take their lives as they lost their minds.
There was a reason you never used your powers. You were afraid of them, sure. The reason you were afraid of them, however, wasn’t because of their strength. Their strength could have saved lives. It wasn’t even because you couldn’t control them. You were addicted to your own powers. You took pride in watching grown men reduced to tears, curled up on the ground, shaking like an abused puppy. Your sick satisfaction was what you feared.
Was this what it felt like to be an Avenger? Were you taking pride in watching the civilians able to run from the scene, or was your pride in the fact that they no longer feared the invading forces, but you instead? The men were rendered immobile as the New Yorkers ran far from the scene. There you were in the centre of it, arms outstretched eyes gleaming, and grin growing wider and ever more evil. Natasha was still hovering just outside of your reach. You could feel her. You turned to face her. You could tell by the look in her eyes that she no longer recognized you. She put her lips to her comm.
“Evacuate the area. Don’t come down this way. Clint, go check on Wanda.”
Wanda.
Your powers ceased. No one rose right away. It would take some time for them to recover. They were gasping for breath. Their arms were too preoccupied hugging themselves tight to bother even trying to wipe the tears that covered many of their faces. Some of them were even rocking back and forth as the effect wore off. You dropped to the ground, human form taking back over. Your eyes were back to normal as you looked to Natasha once more. Neither of you said anything, but you took off running.
*
You pulled your hood up further, gaze locked to your black running shoes. You couldn’t help but feel like every set of eyes was on you. That’s how it felt, you supposed, being wanted by every agency on the planet. With the ability to change your form, though, it was pretty easy to hide in plain sight. Your footsteps echoed on the hard floor beneath your feet as you kept forward. Anyone who saw you would know you were on a mission. You knew exactly where you were going.
She was sleeping when you arrived. The cuts on her body had been stitched and bandaged, and her broken arm had been cast. Sam’s signature was already present on the red material, accompanied by a bad drawing of a bird. You couldn’t help but smile a little to yourself at that. Hopefully, it had kept a smile on her face as her world fell into turmoil, something undoubtedly caused by you. That simple fact would always break your heart. You had to turn to the window to keep the tears at bay.
When you turned back to Wanda, her green eyes were on you. There was something in her eyes that you couldn’t quite read. Her head tilted to the side as she looked at you, in a form that would be unrecognizable. It wasn’t just hiding you from the authorities, but it was hiding you from her. It was protecting her from you. She didn’t need to know that it was you, the woman who had never for a single second deserved to love her or be loved by her. A small smile grew on her lips.
“You forget I can read minds, my love.”
Of course. Wanda had always promised you she’d never read your mind. She would never violate your privacy like that. Right now, though, standing in her hospital room, you hadn’t been you. Obviously, she’d found it appropriate to peek into the mind of the stranger who had been watching her sleep. You should have been mortified. You’d never wanted her to know that you were here. Instead, a large part of you was relieved.
“Hey.”
“Hey yourself,” she breathed out. “So, that was quite the secret.”
Even though you deserved it, it still felt like a knife to the heart when she said it aloud. You nodded slowly, cracking your knuckles nervously. “I’m sorry.”
“I know.”
You studied her face. Wanda really was a saint, with powers like the ones she had. She was kind, thoughtful, and respectful. You were sure if you’d had her powers right then, you’d be digging through her mind trying to find out what she was thinking. Her eyes weren’t showing you enough. They were calm, though, and it was keeping you calm. Your breathing was level and your head was steady on your shoulders, something you wouldn’t have had been able to say only five short minutes ago.
“Are you afraid?” You managed.
“No,” she assured instantly. “Confused. Why didn’t you tell me?”
You breathed out slowly. “I didn’t want to hurt you. My powers? They’ll hurt you.”
“Will you hurt me?”
“Never!” You insisted. “I… I only hurt them because they hurt you.”
She smiled. “Then I’m not afraid.”
She beckoned you. You padded slowly toward the bed, watching as she stared up at you with an amount of love and adoration that you didn't deserve. Wanda glanced at the door, making sure no one was there to see, and then took your hand in hers, tugging on it to get you to sit down next to her. Instant calm washed over you, drowning out any negative, scared thoughts that had been in your head for days previous. It was like her hand was a lifeline, keeping you anchored on the spot. In the last few days, you’d been anything but calm and present.
You’d been a wreck without her, not knowing if she’d hate you… if you even saw her again. You didn’t know if you’d be able to feel her touch again, to feel her hands on your cheeks or to feel her grab onto you and pull you into a searing kiss the way she did. But you had seen her again, and, somehow, she didn’t hate you. Now, it seemed now you could get oxygen flowing through your body again. Still, you were uncertain.
“And can you forgive me?” You asked, voice so quiet she almost didn’t hear it. “Can you ever love me again?”
Wanda took her free hand and put it on the underside of your chin, tilting your gaze up to hers. “I see nothing that has to be forgiven.” She brushed her thumb across your cheek, wiping away a stray tear. “I love you. I will never, ever stop loving you.”
“Promise?”
“I promise you,” she assured.
She leaned forward and then her lips were on yours. It took you a second to realize the salty taste was from the tears that were streaming down your cheeks, but it didn’t seem to be bothering the Sokovian. Both of your hands found hers and you held tight, as if afraid you’d never see her again if you dared to let go. She slipped one hand out of yours as she pulled back, using it to brush a strand of hair behind your ear.
“I’m sorry I kept it from you,” you muttered.
“I’m sorry you were so scared all alone.”
Your heart swelled. You really had found the perfect woman. “You’re really too good to me. You know that?”
Wanda laughed. “You deserve the world. You know that?”
With the way you tucked yourself against her in a hug, it was obvious she knew you felt the same of her. Her hand stroked your hair as you finally, for the first time ever, felt absolute ease and a sense of peace. Hiding that secret from Wanda had been the second hardest thing you’d ever done. The hardest had been coming clean with it. You snuggled a little closer to her, burying your head into the crook of her neck and mumbling against her skin.
“I’ll never hide anything from you again. I promise.”
Wanda pulled you away so she could look at you. “While we’re revealing secrets, I suppose I should tell you about the engagement ring in my jacket pocket.”

Proposal
Pairing : Tony x fem!reader
Words : 2,042
Contains : smut, fingering, fluff and love

Tony was nervous. Well, nervous wasn’t really the word. He was freaking out. That was correct. Rhodey and Natasha were next to him, trying to calm him down. “Come on dude, you know she'll say yes, she's been sticking with you for five years now.” The man said. “Yeah I mean, who wants to stay for five years with you if it's not because of love...” Natasha continued, teasing him.
The genius sighed and sat down on the couch. “Yeah, yeah...you’re right...” Would you have asked him a few years before, he would have laughed, saying that love wasn’t for him and even less marriage. But now, there he was, ready to propose to you. His life had been such a bliss since he met you, you were the sun shinning through the dark. You knew perfectly well how to cheer him up, how to heal his wounds, no matter if they were physical or mental.
And that's why he wanted to marry you. Because you were perfect for him, the most loving person he ever let cradle his heart. You were cherishing it like a precious treasure. “I’m just afraid something goes wrong or if she suddenly doesn’t want me anymore.”
Natasha shook her head at this. “Tony, Y/N will always want you and you know that. You're being irrational.” Tony nodded, forcing himself to get his shit together. “Now come on Tones, she's gonna be here in a few minutes. You better go.”
And with that, Tony stood up and went to the garage to drive toward the nearest forest. It had been his plan all week. You and the team took a week of vacancy far away from New York to relax. Now you were out with Thor, Wanda, Clint and Bruce to some activities and when you would come back, you would find a little surprise.
Speaking of which, you finally arrived at the house Tony located for the whole week. You were surprised to see that only Rhodey was in the common room. “Hey Rhodey. No one's here?” You asked as the other you were with followed you.
“Not really. But maybe Tony's in your bedroom.” The man replied with a shrug. Frowning, you walked upstairs and were greeted by an empty bedroom. Weird. But something caught your eyes. A note on the bed. ‘There's a little surprise for you in the bathroom. -T.’
Even more curious now, you made your way to the bathroom and indeed saw a package with a red rubber band around it. Of course, you opened it without wasting any second and discovered a beautiful red dress inside. “Oh Tony.” You murmured to yourself. This would have cost him so much money. Not that he even minded to be honest. Quickly putting it on, you redid your hair and make up and walked out, thinking that Tony would be here.
But you still were alone. So you walked downstairs and were greeted by the wooing of everyone, making you blush. “Damn Y/N you're ready for a party?” Wanda teased you.
“I don’t know...Tony left it for me.” You replied, unsure. “I think you should go see Natasha, she's in the garage.” Rhodey told her. You honestly didn’t understand anything of this situation but you still made your way there, meeting Natasha leaning on her car. “Climb in, beauty.” The woman said, laughing at your confused face.
“Really Nat, what’s happening?” You asked with a sigh, hopping into the passenger seat. “Nothing Y/N. Tony just want you two to spend the last night with a romantic dinner.” She replied with a smile to reassure you. Obviously, you were now reassured and you let out a soft ‘aww’ your body relaxing in the seat.
During the whole ride, you and Nat talked and sang at a few songs before you arrived in front of a forest. “A forest? Really?” You said with a little laugh. “Hey, I'm not in his head.” Natasha replied with a playful snort. “Now just get out and follow the path.” You nodded and got out of the car, following her instruction and walking further into the forest and past the trees.
Fortunately, you put on small heels! After a few moment, you saw some rose petals on the ground, going away from the path. So you supposed you should follow them. And you did, finding out some lights in the wood, Tony waiting there for you in a grey suit. “Tony!” God you had missed him today.
“Hey baby.” Tony greeted you with a bright smile even if his hands were sweaty. You obviously hugged him tight, nuzzling into his neck. “You're so sweet. And handsome.” You said with a light chuckle.
“Just wanted to surprised you for the last night, away from the team.” Tony replied as he led you a bit further. That’s when you discover a wonderful place. Lights were wrapped around the branches, some balloons were in the trees as well. A red blanket was on the ground with a basket full of food, a bottle of red wine and two glasses next to it. “It’s beautiful Tony!” You exclaimed, your eyes sparkling.
“I'm glad you like it, now come and sit. Did I tell you that you looked gorgeous?” The man said looking at you up and down. “All thanks to you. You're the one that bought this beautiful dress.” You chuckled softly.
“Ah yes right, I'm the best. I tend to forget it sometimes.” Tony said cheekily with a wink. Of course, it made you laugh, like always, and you sat down on the soft blanket. The night was falling pretty quickly by now and fortunately, it was summer and still pretty hot even at this time. You felt good and relaxed, happy to be with your boyfriend in such a nice place.
Pulling out the food and serving you some wine, Tony told you to eat and that’s what you both did, talking easily about your week with the team. It was a wonderful week to be honest and you couldn’t wait to go back next time in another place, perhaps at the mountain or at the beach.
Time flew by, you were both laughing and planning the future days or talking about where you should go. The food was delicious, the wine too, and for dessert, obviously Tony bought your favorite dessert. It was all amazing. When you finished up the meal, he stood up and held his hand out for you. Without any question, you stood up and he pulled you against him, instantly leading you into a slow dance, without any music. Usually, you would have think it was weird but right now, it was romantic and peaceful.
But then, Tony looked at you lovingly, feeling nervous again. This was it. He should be okay, right? Yes of course, you were looking at him like he was the only one in the world and that was all he needed to go on with his plan. “Y/N? If I brought you here tonight it's...it's because I have...something very important to tell you.” Frowning at the seriousness in his voice, you started to freak out, oblivious to the truth. “Tony what's wrong?”
Tony smiled softly as a way to reassure your scared face. “Five years ago, you entered my life and I think it truly was the best thing that happened to me.” Oh no, you saw that enough in movies to know what was happening. Was he really going to propose? Instantly, your eyes started to welled up with tears.
“I don’t know what I did to deserve a woman like you but I'm so glad we met and I'm still pretty surprised that you could bear with me for so long.” At that, you both let out a light chuckle. “You’re the sweetest person on this planet and I don’t want to ever let you go so...”
Getting down on one knee, he pulled out a small velvet box with a wonderful ring with diamonds and a ruby on top. “I want us to be bound forever. Will you make me the happiest genius and marry me?”
Obviously now, you couldn’t help the tears falling down on your cheeks. Happy tears. With a laugh and cupping his cheek, you nodded. “Of course I want to Tony!” Hearing your reply, Tony let out a relieved sigh and grinned brightly, delicately placing the ring on your finger and pulling you into a kiss.
As you were both pouring all of your love and passion into the kiss, you couldn’t help but want more and Tony understood your body language. He gently laid you down on the blanket and came on top of you, his hand caressing your waist as his mouth left warm kisses on your neck. With a soft hum, you gently caressed his back, closing your eyes to enjoy his touch. And it became soon a bit hotter. His hands were touching your naked thighs as his mouth were leaving open mouthed kisses to the top of your breast.
Moaning sweetly, you silently asked Tony for more. And he granted you with it of course, his fingers touching your mound through your panties, making you grow wetter with this simple touch. But you wanted to touch him too. So you reached for his jacket and opened it, untying his tie to let it hang over his neck, soon working on opening his shirt. His bare chest in sight, you finally let your hands roam over his skin and muscles. “Like what you see baby?” Tony asked with a smirk.
“Definitely. And you know that.” You replied with your own smirk, moaning when he pushed your panties to the side to touch your throbbing clit. “Fuck Tony!” Tony continued his ministration, playing with your needy bud before he pushed a finger between your folds. The feeling was wonderful, really, but you wanted to feel him. Raking your nails down his chest, you managed to open his trousers and pull his rock hard shaft out. “I want you, Tony.” You murmured.
“Want you too.” He whispered against your lips and slid your panties down your legs, placing them on the blanket next to you. Instinctively, you wrapped your legs around his waist, making his cock press against you. “Ready?” He asked, just to be sure. He knew the answer, obviously, but he always wanted to have your consent because he cared about you that much. Nodding, you didn’t have to wait long before you felt his hot member enter your core, filling you perfectly. You both moaned out at the sensation, kissing you lovingly and sensually.
Tony made love to you that night, slow and loving, his hips never hurting you, never pounding. His hands caressing your skin like it was fragile, porcelain, delicately kissing your lips and exploring your mouth like it was the first time. Tony and you rarely made love. Usually, it was always eager and passionate, sometimes rough and kinky, because you couldn’t help both of your need and passion for each other. But when you made love, it was even more wonderful, like a firework exploding in your body. And it showed how much he truly cared and loved you, even if he was showing you this everyday still, even when he was rough.
Feeling his cock throbbing inside you, you felt close as well and let him know. “Tony...I’m close.” You panted in between two kisses. “Me too baby. Come with me.” He replied before kissing you again, leading you both to your climax, moaning into each other’s mouth. The two of you were smiling lovingly, your fingers playing with his brown hair. “It was perfect...like always.” You said softly.
Of course, Tony agreed, his fingers playing on your stomach and waist. “Yes perfect. Just like you. And maybe...maybe next time we can do it without your pills.” Blushing when you realized what he was talking about, you still were concerned because you talked about this load of times and Tony was very scared of having a kid. “Tony...are you...are you sure?” The man smiled, leaning his forehead against you. “More than ever. Now I know. I can do anything with you by my side.”

notes: howdy guys, it's been a while. i've been taking a break and finally starting writing again, yay. it's been a rough few months and still treading through it, but i hope you enjoy a piece of my heart with this one.
if it's any consolation, my heart broke while writing this. </3
pairing — boxer!steve rogers x fem!reader
concept — steve has to come with terms of you not wanting him just as much as he wants you.
wc — 6.7k+ [yeah...]
warnings: 18+, themes alluding to sex, emotional cheating, soft!steve, heartbreak, kind of unrequited vibe going on, over all ✨ angst ✨

Even if it was the thousandth time to watch his body move in the ring, you still were memorized by the way he moved. You were in complete admiration of how his hips flowed so fluidly through his punches. Just like always, he was aware of your presence as you stood next to Sam and Wanda, both of them with proud smiles on their faces as he defeated yet another opponent.
Watching as they raised his arm, declaring him as the champion, something he’d been striving so intensely for, the past few months. Even if his body was bruised and littered with the hits Rumlow had been able to mark his body with and not to mention the busted lip, making him taste the blood with nearly every swallow.
It didn’t matter because he had followed through with what he had set his mind out to do. The looks Rumlow was giving him after all the smack talk he had served him was satisfying enough. Even if he didn’t think you did, he saw you standing there alongside his friends, celebrating the win of his life.
He couldn’t but smile proudly at your presence, even if the disapproval you have against his lifestyle was well known between the two of you and everyone else in your friend group.
Steve knew you weren’t a fan of the injuries you brought home in your shared apartment, the nights you actually stayed there. With Jordan’s absence from New York, you’d been staying there more consistently than ever.
He would never admit it out right, but it made his heart full. With you home, he could protect and he worried wherever you weren’t there. Even if he knew you were fully capable of defending yourself if need be, it would always make him feel better when you were close to him.
Just like him, you could confess it even to yourself, but when you were back in the apartment you shared with Steve, you’d always felt safer.
He went straight to the locker room, to clean himself up as best as he could without making his friends and Tony wait too long. He’d usually go straight to them but the group took notice he held himself back when you were around.
The first match you went to and he came up with bruises running along both rib cages, a bloody nose accompanied by a busted lip, he immediately took notice of the way you cowered away from him. Barely even looking at him as you congratulated him. From then on out, he realized how much it bothered you to see him physically injured.
When you’d come, he’d always make sure to clean himself up before. It really worked out on the days he didn’t want to be around many people. Only the stragglers from the crowd would be left, and his friends who supported him nearly every time.
As soon as he made his way over to the group, he was met with Sam’s warm smile pulling him into a warm hug. You found yourself wincing as soon as Steve did. “Easy there big buy, bruises are still fresh.” Sam let up just a tad, before everyone was congratulating him. You stood back with Tony, watching the proud smile grow on his face as he watched his prodigy surpass his monumental goal.
“You should think about coming to more matches. He fights better when you’re here watching him.” You twisted your neck so you could see his coach more clearly who was standing right beside you. “I’m sure he plays just as well when I’m not here. I still watch them everytime, just from home when it’s too much for me to stomach.”
You looked forward away from Tony, Steve coming into your line of vision as Sharon, his ex who had surprisingly shown up to corral by his side, someone you’d hadn’t seen near him in the past few weeks since she’d been out of the country for work.
“His technique and endurance is the same, but his intensity always rises higher when you’re here. I’m not the only one who notices, maybe the only one bold enough to say it to you.” Tony spoke as watched the man he took in when Steve was just sixteen.
Truly, it made his heart swell with pride to see him reach the level of success he had been dreaming for him since the pair had met. Knowing Steve for the past five years, also made him hyper aware of the girl he never seemed to shut up about, not that you’d ever find out.
No matter how much Tony was dying to let the words slip off his tongue.
“I’m just happy to be here for him.” Keeping your words short as you watched Sharon move closer to him, her hand resting on his chest and he didn’t even move away from it. You tried to ignore the ugly shade of green rising in your chest, but with him it always seemed to show.
Not that you’d had a right to, you weren’t single or emotionally available by any means, but the thought of him being with someone who had hurt him so much made you more protective of him than you had a right to be.
“C’mon little dove, have you thought about why you’d rather stay in the dinged up apartment with Steve than be with your boyfriend of three years across the country?” He pressed harder, making sure you were careful of your response. “My friends are here and so is my family. I can’t just leave everyone I love behind.” Your gaze never left Steve’s as he finally was out of Sharon’s grip.
“Steve’s here, too. You sure it has nothing to do with him?” Part of you couldn’t stand there with Tony and lie to him because you weren’t sure what was the nature of your relationship with the boxer.
Thankfully, you were saved from responding by the devil himself as made his way over to the two of you. Much to your dismay, he had to get in a few more words before Steve was in earshot. “Just think about why Steve lives with you when he’s had more than enough to move out for a while now.”
Before you could even process the words leaving his mouth, your favorite man in the ring immediately has you wrapped up in his arms. Holding you so close and so tightly, not even caring if it put more pressure on his lungs than he wished.
“Congrats on the win, Champion. I’m so proud of you.” The arms you had around him were placed gently, too afraid to put any weight on the new bruises. Not to mention the old ones which were still healing.
Once he pulled away from you, just enough so you could look at him. He hummed at Tony and with one nod of his head he knew when the young boxer wanted to be left alone. More times than not, it is usually with you.
“I thought you weren’t coming tonight. Isn’t Jordan in town?” Not even when it was the biggest moment of his career thus far did he care to indulge in his victories. Always it seemed to be looking after you.
“Stevie, this is your night. We don’t have to talk about me — we’re always talking about me.” For a moment he almost bought your act until he looked into those dazzling eyes of yours, ones he never seemed to grow tired of in the past few years.
“I’m not happy unless you’re happy. So, if you need a night where we just watch romcoms and chow on cookie dough ice cream, you know I’m all yours.” Unknowing to the two of you, everyone of your friends was watching the encounter and still couldn’t believe you still were with your current boyfriend.
Or that Steve was just waiting for you patiently. Something that didn’t come easy for him around women. Before you, he didn’t really do relationships with women that didn’t end with him in their bed at some point. Somehow, much to everyone’s dismay, he managed to keep his interactions platonic with you.
At least in their eyes.
“No, Stevie. I’m fine. He just didn’t follow through this time. It’s not the end of the world, I’ll be fine. Tonight, I just wanna be by your side and celebrate you.” Although, he didn’t really believe you Steve decided he would let it go.
“Regardless of it, thank you for coming tonight. Means the world to me.” It really did. Even more so, when he felt like he was one of the reasons you were still in Brooklyn and not in California living with your boyfriend instead.
“Oh, hush bubba. You’re getting so soft on me and you haven’t even had a proper drink in you yet. Let’s just celebrate with our friends, yeah?” You kissed his cheek sweetly, before you were off to Bucky and Nat’s place to get properly fed and surely get Steve drunk off his ass.

It really was the elephant in the room you were choosing to ignore. The fluttering feeling of adventurous butterflies traveling to spaces you didn’t know existed. Everytime he pulled you close to his side or kissed your temple.
When Bucky would do something monumentally stupid, he would whisper a line in your ear humorous enough to hear you laugh. Even right now, when you knew he was exhausted, muscles sore and aching — Steve was still tending to whatever you needed.
In this moment, your body nestled between his legs as he draped his arm across your chest, letting him hold you close was exactly what you needed. Even if you tried to remove yourself several times because of the new injuries, he would never let you.
“What’s next, Rogers?” Steve watched as he craned his neck towards Sharon. You’d almost forgotten she was here, she’d been so quiet most of the night.
“A whole lot of rest and then in a few weeks, right back into training.” He spoke with pride because winning the title went hand and hand with defending it. “You should come to the club. Danielle’s been itching to see you, again.”
Steve grimaced, not just as Sharon’s words, but with how stiff your body became. The way you rubbed back and forth with the tip of your fingers against his forearm came to a halt.
You weren’t really sure what to do because now you felt horrible for even feeling like you had a right to be upset in the first place. Because you didn’t. You weren’t single and Steve was. In this space in time, he did nothing wrong.
When you followed Nat back into the kitchen to grab a bottle of wine, away from him, it felt like he had made a mistake.
Just watching as you followed Nat up the pathway, in your pretty green dress, as you messed with the necklace adoring your neck. Something he learned you did when you were anxious.
“Why would you bring that up now? In front of her?” He was slightly pissed off she had driven you away and out of his arms. Steve would have you within his grip constantly if you would let him. Not that you did, but it was still a certain something he found himself wishing for. More than not though, someone else always seemed to hold your attention whenever he wasn’t in the ring.
Jordan. Tony. Sam. Natasha. Bucky. Wanda.
Tonight had seemed it might go in a different direction, until Sharon steered your mind elsewhere. One where you were a girl who missed her boyfriend. Or at least that’s what he thought.
Unknowingly to Steve, Jordan was the last thing on your mind, which allowed the guilt to settle in. Maybe, just this one time it was rightfully placed. The thoughts you were having scared you senseless — making you want to do something you knew you shouldn’t.
You just sat there on the padded bar tool as Nat grabbed a bottle of white with a bottle of red. Like time and time again, Nat read your mind just as she often did. “So, why couldn’t he come this time?” She drilled into you, her iridescent daggers as piercing as ever.
“He said he forgot his mother asked him to help her move out of the house. He said he’d make it up to me some other time.” Just like always.
But you held your tongue before voicing it to anyone other than yourself. It’d been months since you’d seen him in the flesh, and it was the first time he spoke to you in days when he informed you he’d been unable to spend any of his time off with you.
“He’s just never here and he keeps asking for me to move to Los Angeles, but my whole life is here. Before, he never seemed to really pressure me. He was always patient with me to travel at my own pace but I think he ultimately thought I would eventually go there with him.” You breathed out, scared of the truth dripping right out of you.
“I just-, you know what? Nevermind. It’s isn’t important.” She was never one to bite her tongue, but she found herself trying to when your feelings were involved.
“Tell me. What is it?” Your curious, bambi eyes peering into your soul, dying to pull the confession right out of her.
“Do you even miss him when you’re apart for so long? I’m not judging but it just seems like you’re okay. I’m not saying it’s a bad thing, but why don’t you ever go to him or Jordan to you?” Natasha spoke softly, afraid she might be poking the bear just a bit.
“Of course I miss him. I would see him if I could. I’m just a little too busy right now with work and my family.” You attacked back, feeling the need to defend yourself.
“Are you really going to make me say it?” With both bottles of wine on the counter, she went to grab three more wine glasses — for Sharon, herself, and you.
“Say what? What the hell are you talking about?” You pushed her as she put out the bottles of wine as she managed to link the three vines of the glasses in her left fingertips. “Forget it. I shouldn’t have said anything.” She was regretting it now, because maybe you weren’t quite ready to hear the words everyone else knew to be true. Anyone who was around the two of you could see it.
Perhaps, Nat never spoke a word of it because at the very least, she thought you wouldn’t be as naive to see his feelings. The ones he seemed to offer you on a silver platter, whether you wanted to reject or accept the offering, giving it to you wholeheartedly.
Following her out the patio door where the two of you stopped, not moving a step further. She didn’t really say anything either. Letting you bask in the glow before the fall.
He was laughing so hard, his hand clutching his chest as him. Golden hair shining bright by the fire pit, almost as
lively as his smile. Even if it looked like his spirit could have been beaten out of him tonight, he’d never show it.
When he had trouble keeping his eyes open, he’d force himself to stay alert because moments he could spend with ones he loved seemed too precious to pass up. Especially over the past few months — he didn’t even have to think twice about it.
Through the schedule Tony had him on, his life was eating, breathing, living boxing. Training every day in the gym, whether it be furthering his techniques in the gym to Tony making him regret any mistake he made in the ring.
Even some days he was just weight training when Tony told him he could rest. He couldn’t though. Not when he could taste the sweetness of his dreams on the tip of his tongues.
Every day, dawn till dusk, training consumed every moment of his time. Steve thought his body was restless before, but now? Nothing came even close to this.
Leading Steve to be blissfully unaware of what was actually going in that fantastically bold head of yours.
“Just spill it, Romanov.” You pressured her, but your eyes were too weak to redirect your directions elsewhere. Only Steve holding your attention at one.
“Remember when Steve left for Spain for three months with Tony?” Your body stilled, having a feeling you knew where this was going. Regretting you told her what had happened with Steve in the first after promising him it would just stay between the two of you.
“It was the year Jordan and I had split for two months.” The memory of what happened always clouding your better judgement. The way his eyes shined still haunted you. “Steve had already been there a month when it happened and the second I told him he insisted on flying me out.”
Looking at him fondly, across the greenery before speaking so softly as if he was right next to you, “I could never say no to him. I still can’t.” Nat tried to ignore it but she could see through the fog of your first love fading even if you were trying your hardest to avoid the inevitable heartache.
The care you held for him was oozing out of you, bursting and breaking at the seams. When you kept thinking of him more than a roommate, more than a friend.
“Dove, you can’t just keep pretending your feelings don’t exist. The more you try to bury the root deep the more it will grow.” You knew she was right, but you really didn’t want to hurt anyone.
You supposed you were already causing pain unintentionally. “His biggest insecurity is him. Jordan thinks I’m still here because of him.” You confessed, the ongoing fight no secret to anyone, really.
“Aren’t you?” Maybe if you had been a better liar, you could’ve convinced her but everyone could read you like the back of your own hand.
You hated the spotlight she was putting on you, but even more so because she was right. Moving forward with Jordan meant leaving someone else behind, something you couldn’t seem to prepare yourself to do.
“I love Jordan. He’s my first love and I thought he would be the greatest one, too.” You really want to stop the love and admiration flowing out of you, but you couldn’t choose who you love and maybe it was time for you to stop fighting it.
“Then, I met Steve. He responded to the ad I put out for the spare room in my apartment and we met for coffee.” If you had listened to your mother, her wishes of you not to be in the company of a man who was a complete stranger, you’d never meet the most important person in your life.
“He looked more like a boy back then. Clean shaven. No beard. Steve was still muscular, but not nearly as toned as he is now. But his eyes? They pulled me right in. Still do, every damn time.” You should have held some sort of shame, but you didn’t.
“You should do something about it, Dove. He isn’t going to be single forever.” Nat questioned as you followed her lead, back to the roaring fire.
“Nat, I love Jordan. I could never do that to him.” You really couldn’t, but you also couldn’t find it in you to move with him either. “I know you love him, but you aren’t in love anymore.” Growing closer and closer, back to the group, you saw him clearly.
“What do you mean?” Trying to ignore the pain in your chest as Natasha spoke. “I think you’re scared of ending it with Jordan. Dove. I’ve known you for a long time now and I’ve never seen you look at anyone the way you do with Steve.”
The words spilling out of her lips left you a little broken — the truth spearing you through. She wasn’t wrong, not one bit. Nat never nearly was, especially when your feelings were involved. Steve had become such an enigma to you in the past year.
The line of platonic friendship and overflowing emotional intimacy was becoming too entangled for you to even comprehend.
“Just think about it. I just want you to be happy.” The rest of the night, it’s all you could think about. A few days passed and it was still in the forefront of your mind.
When Steve was walking home with you this week, you couldn’t stop wondering all the hypotheticals swarming inside your dreams.
He could tell, too.
You’d never been so quiet, not ever. He’d like to hear you, especially when you were drunk. Like you seemed to be now, at least to him but tequila that lit a fire in your chest a few hours ago was beginning to wear off. Just when the feelings you kept trying to avoid would seep there way back in like your furry, fat cat Thor when he wormed his body through the gate into the apartment.
“What’s wrong? You’ve seemed off this week.” You felt his hand kiss yours, but he didn’t bother to find it’s home. He’d been keeping his distance or at least been trying to. You'd been so vulnerable lately and the last thing he wanted to do was exploit that.
Ever since Sharon had made a comment about Danielle, and you escaped with Nat, something changed. You more guarded around him, more than you'd ever been since you met.
Steve knew there was a reason for it, but he didn't want to push you — not when it looked like you would combust into a breakdown at any given moment.
“I’ve just been thinking about where my life is going and where I want it to go.” You confessed, letting your words linger. Jordan wants me to move with him to California and I’m running out of reasons to say no.” In perfect harmony, your eyes met his at the same time.
They weren’t joyful what his bright blues usually possess, but this time they were indifferent. Not even you could read them.
“Do you want to move there with him?” Steve asked you, his heart on the verge of dropping into his stomach. “If it will make you happy, you should.” Shoving his hands in his pockets, you watched him drift away from you.
“I don’t know. It might.” Both of you coming to a halt, walking up to the apartment the two of you shared.
“He’s insecure about you. It’s why he’s pressuring me.” The two of your bodies so close but so far away as you stood in the doorway. With a confusing gaze and pouty lips, practically guiding you into temptation.
“He used to always tell me you were in love with me. He was fully convinced, still is. I never thought so. You were just my best friend, that was it. I just never really thought about it unless Jordan brought it up.” You would have loved to blame your sudden outburst on the alcohol, but it was something you'd been dying to do.
Before you never had the guts, but you a felt a pull towards Steve lately, like maybe there was something more trying to burst under the seams.
“I thought Tony was bullshitting me, fucking with me, but I didn’t ever give it a thought. Then, Nat brought up Spain.” Nights you told yourself were a mistake, but deep down it was the probably the safest you felt in a long time.
“What are you talking about? What did Tony say?” Fetching for the key, he slid it in before opening the door for you and following you inside. “Steve, why do you still live here?” Blushing cheeks and a string of incoherent words was all you could make out from him.
As he headed for the small couch, trying to make up an excuse good enough. One which you’d actually believe, he hoped.
“You make four times as much as me, if not more. For some reason, you’ve decided to stay in this shithole apartment — it doesn’t make sense.” He wished you would make sense of it, that way he didn’t have to say a word.
“Do you want me to move out?” He questioned, watching your movements. If you wanted him to move out, he wouldn’t hesitate to do so.
It was the last thing you wanted, but the line between your friendship with him was always blurred. Only now, when it was vaguely pointed out by the two people close to the both of you — it became more apparent than ever.
“No, I just, I guess I’m asking why. You know you’re more than welcome to stay here as long as you’d like, but this place is a dump, Steve. Why on earth would you wanna stay here?” When he looked up, where you stood above him having a hard time biting his tongue.
Because you’re here.
It’s what he wanted to say, but he didn’t have the right and he would just be an asshole if he put you in a compromising position. He already felt guilty enough with his feelings in the first place, he didn't need to pile on.
“I guess it’s just easier to stay. It’s so close to the ring and I’m maybe a tad too comfortable.” You sat next to him on the couch. Finding yourself trapped in the green of his eyes. “Don’t you want something better?” Maybe it was him or maybe it was you. Neither of you could tell.
The two of you inched closer until Steve was caressing your thigh, just with the tip of his thumb. “I’m more than happy with where I’m at.”
“Well, I’m asking because I need to go to California. Just for a bit. I need to see Jordan, it’s been awhile since I’ve seen him.” He didn’t stop touching, not even with the mention of his name.
Even if it pierced him every time you talked about him. Or when Jordan came to town, he felt like he didn’t exist to you.
He didn’t blame you, not at all. Jordan was your highschool sweetheart, and you wanted so badly for it to work but something was holding you back. Something you were trying to let go of.
“He loves me so much and wants to start building this whole new life, but how am I supposed to tell him?” Steve said nothing, letting you sink into the ground.
“He’s been nothing, but kind and loving. Always there, always supportive. The best partner I could have asked for.” Steve laced your hand in his like it was the most natural thing in the world, making butterflies erupt at full speed.
You couldn’t really pinpoint a moment when he started, but all you knew is how safe his warm, calloused hands made you feel. Since the moment you met, never failing to comfort you when needed.
“Then what’s the problem, Dove?” Steve questioned you, untangling his body from yours.
If he was going to help you, he needed to think and being so close to you wouldn’t get himself where you needed. Above all, you didn’t make any easier when a small whine left your throat — tugging at his heart strings.
“We never talk about what happened in Barcelona.” You watched his body tighten, muscles in his arm constricting.
It made him feel just as uneasy as it did to you. At least you could find comfort in that.
“Dove, there’s a reason for it. You and I both know it.” Steve was right. His self righteous sense of nature always kicked in when you wanted it the least.
“You don’t think about it? Because I do.” Pushing weight on his heart, you were very aware you held. You weren’t too naive to know just how much he cared for you, but coward enough to try and make him admit it first.
“You were broken up, things are different now. We’re home where you have a boyfriend and I have boxing.”
“Yes, where I have a boyfriend who wants me to abandon everything I hold close to me to join him without even bothering to ask me what I want.” You puffed out, exhaustion coming in overflow. “The past year, he hasn’t once asked me what I want.”
The boy with golden locks found himself wanting nothing more than to hold you in his arms, nurse you back to health with all the love he could offer.
But even he knew he couldn’t do it. He couldn’t keep on spreading himself thin over a woman who was so conflicted, so distraught she was collapsing within herself. If he wasn’t too careful, he might fall right beside you.
“Before we got back together, he asked me.” You confessed, feeling better as soon as the secret flew from your mouth. “He asked you what?” Steve pressed on, a bit terrified of it truly, but even he had to know.
“He asked if anything happened between us the months I was there and I lied. Ever since we met, he’s been insecure. He thinks I’m going to leave you for him and it wasn’t the first time he asked either.” You wish you hadn’t dealt with the two of them so poorly, but with the expression on Steve’s face you knew you had.
“He knows I lied and it hurts even more he stayed with me anyways.” Steve didn’t move, his fear keeping him still.
“I don’t know how to be his after you, but I don’t know how to let go of my high school sweetheart either.” You felt trapped, in between an impossible decision. An old love, who loves you past your mistakes, past the hurt and a soulful heart admiring you from where you’re at and nothing less.
“Those nights don’t have to mean anything if you don’t want them to.” He spoke softly, his beautiful orbs catching yours in the moonlight peeking through the window.
“They mean too much to me, that’s the problem.” If he didn’t move as you inched closer to his body, planting yourself in front of him, you could tell he was straining himself.
“Do you remember the first time?” He looked confused, wondering if you truly were bold enough to speak of something you shouldn’t touch with a ten foot pole. Your hand found his chest, feeling the pulse of his rapid heart beat. “I was so shy and timid the first time with you, but you guided me so well.” Too fond of the memory of him worshipping every part of your body.
The very thing he wanted to do since the moment he met you, but Steve wanted more than that. Now more than ever.
“You don’t have to remind me, Dove. I remember.” He swallowed deeply, trying to erase the permanent memory of your body writhing beneath him, moaning out his name, begging him for more.
He still found himself thinking about it. Those two months with you had just amplified what he felt even more because now he knew what it was like for you to wake up in his arms, bare skin against his own.
The way you curled into his chest, your arms wrapped around his waist for optimal comfort.
Or when he’d wake up before you, which was most days, he’d find you murmuring his name in your sleep while soft fingertips caressed your skin lulling you into a more peaceful slumber.
“I never forget, Dove. That’s the problem.” With one finger, he pushed back the hair falling in your face tucking it behind your ear. “I tried to move past it, I went on a couple dates with this woman, Danielle.” You already felt your heart clench at the thought of him with someone else.
“She’s kind, smart, and beautiful and she seems to like me. Sharon keeps bugging me to take her out again since she set the two of us up.” Steve was trying to talk calmly, but he couldn’t ground himself. Especially when you only seemed to pull back further from him.
It was weird that Sharon set the pair up, considering she dated Steve not too long ago but it seemed she could put her feelings inside if it was for your despair.
In her daunting eyes, you were the reason her and the promising boxer broke up in the first place. As cliche as it was, she offered Steve an ultimatum after six months of dating — her or you.
Steve picked you.
It wasn’t like he loved her at that point. He did care for her, but you just meant too much to him. When kind, iridescent eyes met his own for the first time Steve never was able to stop thinking about them. Or you for that matter.
Carefully calculated as Steve could be, he managed to trap you between the closed door of his bedroom and his toned body.
“But I want to hear you say something before I do.” His gaze never faltered for a moment as he played with the hem of the short slip dress adoring your taut figure.
Half of your mind was begging you to retreat into your room and forget the last time you’d been pressed up against him like this. The other half wanted to see what he would do once he knew you were in the palm of his hand once again.
You had a feeling he already did.
His beard was grown out and his silky, golden hair that almost reached his shoulders make him look even more deliciously sinful.
“What’s that?” You tried not to gulp loudly, but if you even made the slightest movement, he would notice. “Tell me you’re in love with him.” His soft thumb caressing your side, not sure if he was trying to soothe himself or you.
“Just tell me five years down the line, you see him right there with you. Just say it, so I can move on.” He couldn’t even look at you, he couldn’t take the inevitable. “Tell me we’re just friends and Jordan’s your future.” You met his eyes, the prettiest blues you’ll ever see.
Commanding your attention without even trying — every damn time. You weren’t sure what you wanted, but you knew seeing him hurt was chipping a piece of you away. Watching his arched eyebrows furrowed in distress, fine lines being made in the middle for proof.
Soft fingertips met his skin, smoothing out his furrowed brows, closing his eyes trying to remember what you smelled like. Just like Sharon reached her breaking point, he had too. Steve couldn’t watch you any longer without being the one you wanted without a doubt.
“Stevie.” You softly whisper, before pulling him into your arms.
Even if he was double your size, he let you hold him as best as you could. Comfort him even if you were the reason he’s breaking.
The strong, persistent boxer had been transported back to the sick and thin kid he once was before all the guns and glory came. Steve was right back to where he got rejected by anyone and everyone. A time and many places where no one gave a damn about Steve Rogers, not anyone he wished for.
You watched him untangle himself from you, but you weren’t sure just how much time had passed. A few minutes? Thirty? An hour?
Only time could tell and she wasn’t really on your side at the moment.
“I’ve only found love once. Back in high school, there was this girl, Hazel. She was kind, sweet, eyes that shined like fresh honey. The first person to ever show any interest in me and I was in love with the fact that someone actually wanted me.” Steve felt his heart clench at the memory he wished to forget.
“I truly believed I loved her with every fiber in me and I thought she cared about me too, until I realized she was just using me to get to Bucky.” You watched the distress wash over him again and you wanted nothing more than to make him feel appreciated and loved. Not rejected and forgotten.
“It broke my heart for months because I truly believed I was in love with this girl who I hardly knew.” He sighed deeply, like he somehow already was aware of the soft whisper of goodbye.
“It always kind of stayed with me, not ever feeling like I was good enough for anyone until Tony found me. Graduated high school and I started training dawn till dusk until I couldn’t anymore just to start all over and do it the next day.” He was looking everywhere but you. Even if there was not a thing in this damn hallway, but two pressured hearts.
“Not too long after, I met you and I remember thinking this is the most extraordinary woman I’ve ever met in my life.” Now, feeling like an absolute dick because you truly didn't deserve for this wonderful man to be in your life.
“You were so kind to me and you had no reason to be, but I learned it’s just who you are. This amazingly bright full beam, shining their light on everyone else — not paying attention to how much they give even if it’s everything they have.” Your skin felt hot beyond comparison, the passion in the words he spoke deeper than the memory of his skin against your own.
“I always tried to ignore it, how stupidly kind and thoughtful you are. How much you take care of me when you don’t have to. You cleaned my wounds for months without even asking me what I was doing.”
“I already knew you had a boyfriend, one you love very much, but I couldn’t stop myself from being around you. Now, I have to leave. I need to move on for me because I know how this ends for me — how it always has.” He sighed before walking away, leaving you hanging in every conceivable way. You didn’t notice the suitcase by the door before. Until he was walking out of the apartment with his possessions in hand — out of sight and out of mind.
“Wait!” He was already making it to his car, the old beat up pickup truck he couldn’t seem to get rid of when you reached him. “I just need time, Steve.” You’d been sprinting after him, until you caught up to him, making his attention fully focused on you.
“Jordan’s the only boyfriend I’ve ever had — I don’t know how to let him go.” You were crying because maybe, deep down you were hoping you could have your cake and eat it too.
“And you’re the only person I’ve ever been in love with, Dove. I can’t keep sticking around hoping you’ll wake up one day and feel the same.” He emptied his belongings in his truck before returning his attention towards you.
“Steve, don’t do this. Please. Don’t leave me.” You’d become so dependent on him, more than you realized. “You’re the only person who truly loves me and not for who they want me to be.” Trying to plead with him, but it felt like you were only pushing him even further away.
“Then tell me I’m the only one you want.” But all he was left with silence because you couldn’t and he already knew what you didn’t. He knew you hated change more than anything, that you’d rather stay in what was comfortable even if you were presented with a different option.
Someone you wanted more.
With tears in your eyes, you looked up at him like he was crushing you and there was nothing to stop the numbing feeling. He sympathized, maybe more than he liked to admit, it’s what he chose to live with over the past year. It started the moment he met you if he was truly being honest.
He knew there was nothing left for him, no matter how much his heart clenched at the sound of your cries. He couldn’t be the one who was always taking care of you, loving you, when you didn’t feel what he felt. It was splitting him open, and you just kept taking pieces of him away — parts of him you would hold forever.
He let you cling onto him one more time, begging for him not to leave you. He let you believe he wouldn’t as he calmed you back in a false sense of security. Until you were asleep in his soft sheets later that night, leaving you lonely in the home you’d been sharing.
With only half of his belongings with him, he pulled up to the project he had just completed. Even now, with not a single hope you would ever see it after he just abandoned you, there was still a light hope you’d be able to at least see it one day. If Steve was ever strong enough to face his heartbreak again.

who you are
note: mostly made this for my own comfort, but i do hope it helps and/or comforts any fellow lesbians :]. i normally wouldn’t specify sexualities on any characters because obviously everyones going to feel differently about different characters, but like i said this started off for my own comfort bcs i was hashtag goin through it.
prompt: basically just reader struggling to accept themselves as a lesbian. sorry non lesbians :(
warnings: heavy heavy heavy on internalized lesbophobia. talks about comphet (trying to force oneself to like men) and wanting to be ‘normal’
thank u ally for proofreading <3
not tagging anyone just because i don’t want to trigger :[
. . .
you were wrestling with something, natasha could tell that much. your eyebrows were drawn together, eyes lost in a gaze. it wasn’t until the third time tony called your name when you snapped out of it.
“sorry,” you mumbled.
“well are you going to answer the question?”
natasha noted the tapping of your foot, knuckles cracking beneath the table. it was obvious you weren’t in the right state of mind to be answering any kind of question. foolishly, no one else picked up on that except for the redhead.
“what was the question?”
tony sighed, his patience growing thinner by the second.
“i asked if your report was done. it was supposed to be handed in three days ago, remember?”
your foot tapped faster.
“yeah- yeah, i’m almost finished.”
it wasn’t like you to be so late on things like this, you were usually on top of everything.
“you told me you would have it ready by today. this is the fourth time this month that you’ve done this. you’re dragging your ass and the rest of us are getting pretty tired of it.” a collective agreement could be heard from the team. all eyes were on you waiting for a reply.
if you hadn’t felt anxious before, you most definitely did now.
“it won’t happen again.” tony blew off your statement and rolled his eyes. you shifted uncomfortably, nauseous from all the negative attention.
you couldn’t help but wonder if they knew. maybe that’s why they were being so short. it made sense after all.
natasha tried making her way towards you, but she was stopped by steve’s hand on her shoulder. you were well past gone by the time she managed to scramble away from him.
your back pressed flatly against the wall, tears steadily falling down your face. hatred was all you felt. hatred towards yourself.
why couldn’t you be like the rest of them? why didn’t you belong?
whywhywhywhywhywhy
granted, you knew there was absolutely nothing wrong with being gay. that was never the issue. the issue was the fact that it was yourself, that there was no possibility for you to ever be attracted to men.
you were sure it would be a phase, that it would pass, that you would forget about it and never think about it again. you tried to go on dates, tried to form a relationship, tried to enjoy having sex with them. none of it worked, no matter how much you forced yourself to believe it would.
all you could think about was how sick and disgusting you felt. and the shit representation didn’t help your case at all. the media hardly ever portrayed a good, well-rounded lesbian character that wasn’t problematic, over-sexualized or dead.
the media only reiterated the fact that you were supposed to want men. you were supposed to find the right guy and fall in love with him, call him your husband and start a family.
a knock on your door pulled you away from your thoughts. you shuffled your way back to your feet, drying your eyes for good measurement.
natasha stood patiently, eyes drilled on your doorknob. if it were up to her she’d be picking your lock, but she knew that would be crossing a boundary. she went to knock again when your door swung open.
“hi nat.”
“hey,” her voice was soft. “you’ve been crying...” she pressed her hand against your face, thumb rubbing the top of your cheekbone.
you shrugged. it wasn’t like you could deny her, your red eyes had already given away the truth. “yeah.”
she hummed, “may i come in?”
you hesitantly moved out of the way to let her through, cursing at yourself for finding her so attractive.
“you know you can talk to me, you always do. why haven’t you said anything?” natasha moved to sit on the edge of your bed. “you’ve grown quiet these past few days, it’s not like you.”
“i’m just tired, worn out from work i suppose.”
she nodded, though she knew better than to believe such a lie. natasha could always tell when you were lying, something you both hated and loved at the same time.
you sat next to her after a friendly tap on the bed. her gaze made you feel like a little kid in trouble. it was as if she already knew and was prepared to say the worse.
“i don’t believe you.”
“well, i don’t know what you want me to tell you, nat.”
“how about the truth?” you scoffed purely out of defense. “and what good would that do?”
“it might relieve whatever you’ve got on your heart.” you met natasha’s eyes and your lip immediately began to quiver.
“i’m afraid you won’t be able to look at me the same.”
she softened, taking your hand in hers. “there’s nothing in the world that would change the way i see you.”
“you say that now, nat, but-”
“i wouldn’t say it if i didn’t mean it.”
you thought about it further. natasha had never been one to judge someone based on the things they’ve been through, the things they’ve done or the things that make them who they are. she saw people the way they were, nothing more, nothing less.
but what if she didn’t like you or see you the way you were? you weren’t sure you could handle the aftermath if that were to be the case. it was bad enough you struggled to accept yourself, natasha’s disapproval would only break you.
“i’m a lesbian.” a lump in your throat began to form and you found yourself crying once more. “i tried so hard, i tried everything i could think of, but i can’t, i don’t like men.”
you coughed, choking on your words.
“i don’t understand, nat! i don’t understand why i can’t be normal. why can’t i do it? if i just liked men i would be okay, i would be fine, i would be fucking accepted.” you paused for a breath of air. “i just want to be normal.”
natasha was taken back by your confession. it was nothing near what she thought it would be. she expected you to tell her you’d been stressed or that you were scared for the next mission.
“i’m sorry, i-”
the spy quickly cupped your face, tilting your chin upwards as a hint to meet her eyes again.
“look at me, c’mon, hey. you have nothing to be sorry for, don’t ever think that you do. i love you for who you are. there’s nothing wrong with being a lesbian. you’re normal, you’re who you are, who you’re supposed to be. you are real. i promise you are.”
without thinking you leaned into natasha, clinging on to her for dear life. her arms found their way around your body, hands rubbing your back up and down.
“you should be proud to be who you are, not ashamed. and if you’re not proud of yourself then please know that i am. i am so, so, incredibly proud of you, sweetheart.” she finger brushed your hair as you continued to cry. “shhh, you’re alright baby. i’m sorry you’ve been dealing with this alone.”
“it’s okay nat.” she gave your body a small squeeze, frowning at your response. “you shouldn’t have to feel like you need to force yourself to be someone or something you’re not. you don’t deserve to struggle so much for your own acceptance as a lesbian.”
you nodded, though she could tell you weren’t fully convinced. “the only opinions you should care about are your own and the people you love and cherish. i know that’s easier said than done, but it’s true. besides, what you told me just gives me something more to love about you.” natasha finished off with a delicate kiss to your forehead.
“this means a lot to me, nat. thank you, for everything really.”
“oh sweetheart i should be thanking you for trusting me with such an important part of you are.” you shied away, a growing smile forming on your face as you leaned into her shoulder.
natahsa smirked, clearly aware of the effect she had on you. “who knew you could be so cute?”
“nattttt.”
she rose her hands up in surrender, “alright, alright. i’ll stop on one condition.”
“what’s that?” you mumbled.
“would you let me take you out for dinner tonight? i’ll show you just how beautiful it is to be with a woman.”
“yeah, yes- yes please, that’s fine.” natasha could’ve sworn she heard your heartbeat quicken and she had to refrain from letting out a small laugh at your flustered state.
“we need to clear that little mind of yours. i’ll be back here at seven on the dot, okay?” a pat on the leg caught your senses as you watched her stand. the last thing natasha heard was the soft “okay” fall from your lips as she walked out the door.
you’d never been happier to be a lesbian in your life by the end of the night.

how ab a headcanon where the avengers all take a trip either to disney world or on a disney cruise? i’m a whore for the idea of everyone, especially peter and y/n, just acting like kids again
pairing: peter parker x avenger!reader
a/n: i like this prompt so much!! i’ve never been to disneyland, but i hope this is accurate enough lol. i also turned this into a vlog bc someone had to record this mess and since it can’t be me, i’m giving filming privileges to bruce
─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
the avengers in disneyland
everyone is very very excited and the days before they leave pass in a flurry of excitement, but peter has never been to disneyland, so he’s THRILLED beyond means
peter’s jumping up and down while everyone’s loading the van and he keeps asking them if they’re ready for this “life-changing field trip?????”
sam is genuinely afraid that if peter jumps any higher he will bounce off earth, so he grabs peter by the middle and carries him horizontally into the car
steve gave a whole lecture on not getting lost the day before and since tony couldn’t resist it, he is dressed head to toe in neon yellow and grinning cockily
nat steps into the van, sees him, and turns around with her hand over her eyes like she’s been blinded
bruce brings his video camera with him and records everything. first thing they do is hit up a gift shop and it is better than any oscar nominated movie
everything they pick up is subjected to a thorough label reading and some kind of commentary
“steve, show them what you’re getting!!” “slippers” “what kind of slippers” “uh...soft”
thor on the other hand takes it very serious and his commentary ends up being very ~shakespearean~
peter and y/n get matching friendship bracelets for everyone
loki: “i’m not wearing that”
y/n: “that’s alright-“
loki: “no tie it on for me”
bucky wouldn’t have come along if it weren’t for steve and sam, but now he’s taking it upon himself to make sure that everyone stays in good condition so they don’t miss out on training
the whole team gets hourly text messages from him in the group chat
bucky: “There’s a water leak in Mickey’s Toontwon. If any of you slip and hurt yourselves I will kill you.”
y/n: “love you too buck”
(they know it’s his way to express his love for them so every message almost makes them tear up)
loki really wants to go on splash mountain but since he doesn’t want to get his clothes wet, he asks the guards how ~splashy~ splash mountain gets
they don’t take him seriously and it infuriates loki because it’s a perfectly reasonable question but it quickly turns into a passionate argument that holds up the entire line
“I DEMAND TO KNOW HOW HIGH THE RISK OF GETTING WET IS, YOU INCOMPETENT FOO—”
*cue y/n and nat dragging him away while bruce runs after them to zoom in on loki’s pouty glare*
they get him a green rain poncho with black polka dots from one of the gift shops, and he’s still glowering but he puts it on without protest before each ride that involves water
normally the avengers would easily get recognised but since everyone is walking around in costumes, people approach them for several other reasons
thor is just peacefully standing in life, staring at the incredicoaster like it’s the love of his life, when a little kid tugs at his cape
“excuse me sir, why are you so tall?” “good question, why are you so short?” “hmm” “hmm”
they find a micky mouse whac-a-mole and everyone is having Fun but something possesses tony and clint and they are really going for it
tony is a 5 foot tall ball of stress and competitiveness and he is yielding that plastic hammer like it’s the last thing he’ll ever do
clint on the other hand is starting to feel the numbness in his arms
y/n, with sarcasm: “you can do it, clint!”
clint, with spite: “i cannot do it, thanks”
*y/n stares into the camera*
they also make up a rule that if you are in a 5 meters radius of one of the theme park characters, you HAVE to snap a picture with them
steve, who gets constantly shoved nudged by bucky into some character’s path, ends up taking a picture with almost every single disneyland character
at some point, he’s just downright sick of it and there’s a 7 min video of steve zooming across the lot while goofy and woody run after him with wide open arms
bucky is doubled over with laughter in the background while sam is standing beside him and wiping away his own tears
the avengers also buy all the pictures that are taken of them on the rides and even stop at some photo booths so they can send them to wanda and vision who are both vacationing on hawai’i <3
thor, peter, and y/n run themselves ragged and their legs almost give out but they will not stop until they have been on every ride that disneyland has to offer
the others think it’s obnoxious but they follow and join them without hesitation
tony is secretly trembling with fear. doing loops in the air at the speed of light is fine and so is battling aliens, but getting on a rollercoaster ride is just heart-stopping horrifying
it’s not that he doesn’t like rollercoasters, (that man has no self-preservation skills, anything that resembles plummeting to death will be gazed at with big heart eyes) but he just doesn’t trust them
if he didn’t build it or prove it, he doesn’t trust it. period. but the avengers are just so excited and happy that he can’t find it in him to sit out
that quickly results in thor and tony re-enacting very impressive Shouting Contests on each ride without fail
tony is screaming and clinging onto whoever is sitting next to him for dear life because he’s Petrified™️
and thor is screaming, because he’s having The Time Of His Life
he’s feeling the wind in his hair, his heart in his throat, and if he’s not shredding his vocal chords and flinging his limbs around, what’s the point of it all
after 20 different rides, tony is sick of pretending and just trudges through disneyland, the happiest place of earth, like it’s the sole cause of all suffering in the world
nat rejoins the group after she mysteriously disappeared for a moment and her hair is tossed, there’s ash on her face, and half of her clothes are wet
bruce, startled: “where have you been??”
nat, beaming: “there was a ride that spat fire from all sides and people jumped out of nowhere to scare you while the whole place was filled with hot water!!!”
bruce, concerned, zooms in on nat’s excited face
“nat i think you went to hell”
sam is big on merry-go-rounds so he drags everyone with him and while some one them first don’t seem to enjoy it, they change their mind once they see bucky’s little smile
(they go on at least ten more rounds until it starts to get dizzy)
a little girl trips over her princess gown and falls close to where steve is waiting in line, and steve immediately abandons his spot to rush over
bruce zooms in on them bc steve has always been kinda awkward with kids, but here he is, crouching down and comforting that little girl, and it’s so unashamedly soft and sweet
they can’t hear what steve is saying but she’s BEAMING now and even giving him a wobbly courtesy while he claps proudly
bruce turns the camera around and both he and clint are lowkey in TEARS like “why are we crying?? we didn’t even fall down” “i KNOW!!”
nat gets a hold of the camera and she’s on a mission to get the most embarrassing greatest footage possible
“bucky, go stand next to moana” “why?” “it’s moana go stand over there” “but i don’t know-“ “bucky.” *cue bucky, awkwardly standing next to moana while nat grins broadly*
when he’s back with the team, sam just stares at him blank-faced, clearly waiting for bucky to ask why he’s looking at him
eventually bucky caves in with a long sigh
“what” “i can’t believe you don’t know who moana of montunui is. she restored BALANCE to the WORLD. put some RESPECT ON HER NAME”
no one knows why but there’s footage of y/n, thor, tony, and loki strutting up and down in the middle of the lane in minnie mouse plush shoes like it’s a catwalk
sam, bucky, and nat are holding up their fingers to score them while steve is staring at them like he’s analysing their fighting stances
bruce, clint, and peter are standing on the sidelines and cheering them on as they should be
they end their day by digging into an unholy amount of fries that even steve can’t resist because they’ve been walking the whole day
a questionable amount of cotton candy also end ups in their possession and the footage of that is just mostly everyone trying out each other’s cones while the camera is passed between them
soon after, the avengers are back in their van to drive home and bruce zooms in on the row of seats where y/n has her head on peter’s shoulder while the others are also half-lounging on each other, and everyone is asleep <3
* * *
guess what i’m about to say?
stay hydrated pals
