sometimes when i talk about sirius to my rp partners i realise that he really does belong solely to me and he is so far removed from the books that it often feels like i’m writing someone original
#❛ ooc › the ones who love us never really leave us#not in a#oh i write fanon sirius and he has no aspects of book sirius#not at all !! i try to stick as close to canon as possible while getting rid of some Nastee things only the mayor of Nasteeville (jkr)#could write about him#but in the sense that#we really don't know much about him from the books#and jaundice never bothered to flesh him out other than make him bold and impulsive lol#she did exactly what the fandom does which we all hate#she reduced him to one or two traits and really went to town with them#and she really couldn't be bothered to spend more than 2 minutes thinking about his character even when she wrote the flashback scenes#or the bonus scenes like the one with james and sirius#smh lazy#ANYWAY#i was talking to lyddy about sirius's love for potions as a subject at school and as a branch of magic#and it really dawned on me that i'm????? this isn't canon#this is just#something i came up with because it makes sense for his character the way i portray him#I'M LITERALLY TALKING ABOUT A CANON CHARACTER AS IF HE WERE MY OWN OC#i hate that sirius bb u deserved so much more in canon than jolene could give you :(
