Alright bird nerds, buckle up. It's profile picture lore time.

This is an 'I'iwi (ee-EE-vee) or a Scarlet Honeycreeper. They are endemic only to the Hawaiian Islands and high high altitudes. Although they will sometimes head further down to forage for food, which is flower nectar (unsurprising after peeping that beak). They are in the same family as the American gold Finch and Pine Siskin - which is a fact that blew my mind.

They are at risk from mammal introduction to the islands and avian pox/malaria and scarce food. The 'ōhi'a tree, one of their main food sources, is similarly vulnerable from a fungus that can kill a tree in a matter of days.

This 'I'iwi was photographed at Hosmer Grove in Haleakalā National Park. We were able to watch them for a few hours before heading up to the summit. I had gotten a few of the photos below, but not up close shots. On our way back down the volcano, I asked my boyfriend if he minded stopping for an extra 20 mins to see if I could get a closer picture. Right as I walked into the grove I got this shot.

Eating out a tree nymph when you feel soft, leafy vines caressing their way up and around each leg with thick trails of fragrant sap sticking along your skin where they touch you

Your legs being forced apart while the rubbery ends of vines snake their way into your ass and cunt, gently stroking and fucking you open, filling you with that warm sap which induces you to relax despite your initial groans of protest

More vines encircling your wrists and tugging them up behind your back, tied and trapped on your belly at the mercy of the nymph who grips your hair in both hands and grinds her swollen, earthy-tasting clit harder over the tongue spilling from your mouth as the effects of her sap have you panting slowly, eyes rolling up into your head

Giggling voices intermingle with excited rustlings of leaves from surrounding trees as you struggle to recall stumbling into a huge grove of very playful dryads

the cord can move and acts like a tail. their actual body is the same plastic material as a megaphone, with ball joints and a midsection sooort of like a round accordion. lots of buttons that do all sorts of things!! she can speak on her own but he can also do the classic suck-up-shoot-out trick whenever useful.

their face can emote and their lips can move!! eyebrows are sometimes a thing for funnies. usually he doesn’t move his lips while talking, mainly for kissing and pouting and whistling. I love meg on her own. but also they’d have so much fun with a whole body I just know it….

flirty. loud!! fun loving. good at deescalating conflict and starting conversations. charismatic and knows how to make people laugh but much more anxious than he lets on. my megcanons. get it. like headcanons

voice is a bit louder than average and sounds crackly. blends between a masculine and feminine voice and often falls somewhere in between. sounds like a radio host. super boisterous laugh.

also: godpoke’s head goes up to his chin and vibiano’s head goes up to her shoulder . just saying :3
