I think part of why communities autistic representation with Abed is so good isn’t just how it portrays the symptoms and experience accurately, but also how it conveys plot lines and story arcs about the different types of people and interpersonal conflict an autistic person would face. Community definitely isn’t the first show to have ableism as a conflict, but in my experience of watching stuff it’s the first show I’ve seen that has such a nuanced approach to so many different types of ableism and different realistic reactions and solutions (all while being a sitcom with a cast of morally corrupt characters and absurd fantastical scenarios).

Frankie Dart for example, who is introduced in season 6, is kind of that level headed business woman archetype, conveys that she has a lot of experience with disabled ppl in her personal life, and (as is later confirmed) a lot of affection for them bcus she has a sister with a high support needs disability. This draws her to Abed, being that he’s autistic, and the two begin and understanding and friendship. Frankie is very kind and unusually understanding and compassionate towards Abed and his needs, and communicates with him in a way that is refreshingly easy for him to understand. And at the same time, patterns of infantilizing and condescending behavior begin to occur in their dynamic, until eventually Frankie outright says that abed “doesn’t know any better”, conveying to him that she thinks he’s too disabled to be aware of what he wants and believes, or to make his own decisions without someone who knows what’s best for him to guide him. And the great thing is everyone who witnesses her say this is disgusted 😭🫶 she is berated bcus everyone who knows abed knows that he is a grown ass man who doesn’t need to be hand held or condescended to.

But what’s so interesting about this conflict with Frankie is that she does earnestly mean well, she’s not a one sided abliest villain, she’s a person who could really exist. What is conveyed is that Frankie infantilizes abed bcus she has an expectation of autism that does not apply to every autistic person. She assumes that bcus her sister has high support needs and needs help making decisions, that abed is the same way, bcus she thinks all autistic ppl r like her sister and acts accordingly. And then she learns that this is wrong, and abed is fully capable of functioning without her help. It’s great! There’s no moral speech about how autistic ppl aren’t babies or anything like that. Frankie means well, fucks up, and is forgiven when she changes her behavior.

I just love it bcus ableism and other forms of bigotry aren’t often portrayed with so much nuance. Ableism isn’t usually this big thing, most people r on some degree abliest, and a lot of the time people who have a lot of experience with disabled ppl and mean well (especially ppl with disabled family or siblings) end up having the most abliest biases, it just feels so real.

So an idea i guess? I love the idea Alastor slowly corrupting his kids and reader trying her best to correct them? Obviously she can’t. IN A MOURNING WARNING, NO ONE HEARD

— day by day, alastor ruined your children with his malicious thoughts, while you set them straight. it’s as if evil and good decided to fight their battle in your house.

every day in this house was a headache. sleeping beside the monster called husband every night, him cuddled up to your side as if he hadn’t broken your hopes for years. acting in front of your children as if everything was fine— that they had parents who were madly in love with each other. and, raising your children. of course, raising them in itself is difficult, but alastor seems to just enjoy making your life a hell on earth.

implanting evil thoughts into your babies’ minds, and there was no one else but you to fix his mess. to instill morals in their minds, and to make sure they grow up to be diligent and kind.

sitting down at the dinner table seemed to grow harder and harder each day. resisting the urge to vomit as your son told you and alastor of how he found a rat at school, and how he had cut its’ tail off to see if it’d regrow like a lizard. the image of your little boy being so cruel made you sick to your stomach. and, alastor, he’d done nothing but laugh. “oh, my! quite the experiment, my boy!” he chuckled as he took another bite of his food. “now, dear… that isn’t very nice, don’t you think?” you frowned. “mmh, but dad said that i should feed my curiosity!” noah pouted.

“well, dad is true on that. but, you shouldn’t feed your curiosity if it hurts other people or animals.” you said, lecturing him. “au contraire, my love.” alastor interrupted. “id say that curiosity is one of the most important human emotions! how else do you think mankind discovered to hunt and cook chicken, pork, beef…” he rambled. “they are good for the body, aren’t they? they give the body protein so that they’re strong and so they can protect the people they love! don’t you want our little boy to protect his friends and family?” he raised an eyebrow. “yeah, momma! so that i can protect you and emilia!” noah said.

you felt your heart crack at his words. it seemed as if there was no hope in undoing what alastor had done. as if the little boy you worked hard to raise died. but, maybe there was still hope for your daughter.

“oh, and dad!” noah said excitedly as he looked to alastor. “my friends think its so cool that we go hunting, and they wanna join too! can we bring them, please?” noah begged, bringing alastor’s amusement. “aw, they want to join us? hm, i suppose we could, but only if they’re as well-behaved as you!” he hummed, to noah’s delight. “really?! you’re the best, dad!” noah grinned, running to alastor to loosely hug him by the neck. “yes, yes… now, go finish your meal. your mother worked hard to cook that, and it won’t taste so good when it’s cold.” he said, patting his son on the head.

you zoned out, staring at your daughter in her chair, playing with her food, and scratching the bowl with her little fork. she giggled and talked to herself, before blood started flowing from her nose. “oh, dear…” you muttered under your breath, running to the kitchen to get a tissue paper. “eww! momma, emilia is drinking her own blood! yuck!” noah called out, scrunching his face in disgust. and, when you returned, emilia was, indeed, drinking her own blood— licking her top lip as the blood leaked, and smiling at the metallic taste in her mouth. “oh, emi, sweetie… don’t do that. blood is yucky.” you scolded your daughter as you wiped the blood from her nose.

“yummy!” she shouted, licking her lip for the remains. alastor grinned at her comment, “i couldn’t agree more, baby!” he laughed, swaying the water in his glass. “not right now, alastor. emi is bleeding.” you huffed out in a frustrated manner. “ah, i suppose you’re right, darling. emi, baby, are you okay?” he cooed to your daughter across the table. “i’m okay, daddy!” she grinned, going back to eating as per usual, despite the roll of tissue in her nostril.

“are you okay, my love?” alastor asked, his eyes moving to you. “i’m alright, just exhausted today.” you let out, keeping your emotions and intentions to yourself. “hmm, then why don’t you rest after dinner, dear? noah and i can wash the dishes.” he assured you. “wah?! but, dad, i wanna go play!” noah huffed and pouted. “now, son… protecting also means to help others when they are tired. don’t you wanna help momma?” he asked your son. and as noah thought it over, alastor spoke again, giving him more of an incentive. “now, i hate to do this… but, if you don’t help your mother, i won’t bring your friends to hunt.” noah’s eyes widened at the unfairness. “what?!” he frowned. “guh, fine, ill do the dishes!” he pouted, gathering the cleared dishes and bringing them to the sink. “hmph, good boy.” he grinned. “go rest now, dear.”

and, as you went up the stairs, that moment finally dawned on you. that hunting with his friends and father meant so much to him, he was willing to do household chores. it shattered your heart as tears filled your eyes— why couldn’t you go back to a simpler time? when it was just the two of you. when all you had was each other.

“momma, i missed you!” noah said hugging your legs as you returned from work. “aw, i missed you too, baby!” you smiled at your precious boy. “c’mon! i wanna play with you!” he said, attempting to pull you by your wrist. “in a second, sweetie! momma has to take off her heels!” you laughed.

I love talking about Hogwarts food and trying to replicate it in this reality, so this question is very fun!!

a typical day of meals partially depends on what season it is and what food is typically in harvest!

for example, it is around the fall equinox in my DR, so we are seeing a lot of harvest pies and themed foods that just radiate comfort and warmth. currently, a dinner staple has been roasted butternut squash soup, which is an aquired taste but it is so yummy!! in the last weekend before I shifted back, we also had our first dinner with homemade pumpkin soup and bread bowls, so fall is definitely here <3

on a typical dinner, though, there are staple foods that appear beside all of the seasonal foods. these include chicken, potatoes, hand pies, fruit arrangements, and bread assortments! there is also always pumpkin juice, and so far there has always been choices of cider (apple and pear being common!)

different meat pies are also very popular, and I swear we have shepherds pie every couple of days during dinner. it is such a comfort food for so many students. harvest type pies are also being served more frequently, but everyone is looking forward to the Mabon feast, as everyone joins together to make lots of apple pies!

all of the Hogwarts food is truly magical, as it always has warming charms and something about sitting down with my friends after a cold day and having this freshly baked food just warms my soul !

as for my favorites--- I am OBSESSED with any type of pasty. the cornish pasties are such a treat when they are served for lunch, which has only been a few times while I was there but I am hoping for more! I have no idea what they do in the Kitchens to make these, but I know I am not the only student who practically rushes into lunch hour eagerly to see if they are there 😭

also, i've heard many many people talk about this, but the Hogwarts potatoes and bread?? absolutely obsessed every time. especially as someone who has to eat them together and is very particular about certain cooked textures, I am so happy that potatoes and bread are served at every meal. breakfast potatoes, mashed potatoes, dinner rolls, sandwich bread... they really have something for everyone!

I usually am not that picky, so I was quite surprised when I actually liked random things like porridge in the morning, which is definitely not something common from my life in this reality. I cannot stress how confused my mum was when I went to the grocery store and then tried to make porridge randomly a couple of days ago when I shifted back ‼️

however, I don't like scotch eggs, but they are also a fan favorite so idk what is wrong with me! I just hate the texture and I had never tried them before shifting so I kind of feel like the whole experience was kind of crazy and now I don't trust any scotch eggs.

moral of the story: Hogwarts food is some of the best i've ever had in my life and if you are shifting there, try everything!

Vedic Astrology Observation (based on shows/films part 5-(½))

In "The Atypical Family", the Anuradha Moon male lead plays a character whose ego is centered around saviourism. He suffers from an obsessive saviour complex which ends up deteriorating his mental health and his family life. The loss of his wife is what leads him to absolute despair and hopelessness, as he desperately tries to go back to her in time to save her. The element of time-traveling/warping reality, the element of saviourism, the element of family love/romantic love is so deeply Anuradha-coded. This character is the perfect representation of Anuradha in its dark side, in my opinion. Scorpio's obsessiveness is so perfectly seen here, along with his addiction issues & alcoholism. This nakshatra's themes being about love and unity/family is seen in the kdrama but in a dysfunctional way.

The female lead is played by an Ashwini Sun. I've once briefly brushed on Anuradhas often being paired with Ashwinis. In this story, the Ketuvian is a scammer who plans on making his family penniless, she plans on doing this through marrying him which actually proves to be challenging as the Anuradha is stuck on his past (his fixedness ♏ makes him different from her previous male targets who she scammed too).

This goes back to Ketu's "gold digger" trope which Claire Nakti coined first in her Jupiter Dominant Men exploration (timestamp 43:10). This trope does make sense in that Ketu is a whole void which sucks/absorbs everything in, it can be quite draining in the material world. Which would also make sense thinking of Ketu-coded characters as a black hole themselves in the material world in which they may relentlessly exploit (the best example of this is the film "There Will Be Blood" in which the morally-grey male lead exploits and steals a family's land in order to extract oil). The female lead of this kdrama actually reminds me of the film "Heartbreakers" which stars two Ketu natives, playing mother-&-daughter, whose goal is to extract alimony from the men they've married through judicial divorce hearings. They basically scam men and leave them penniless.

In the kdrama, the female lead's "mother" is also behind the scam, just like in "Heartbreakers", and the mother happens to be played by a Ketuvian actor as well! Yall nakshatra astrology NEVER fails.

The drama is still ongoing as it will air every Saturday & Sunday for the next 4 weeks so I'm curious how the story will develop as it's still in the early stages 😭 Might make a continuation of this 'analysis' (meh) as I've barely said much.

Miles has a connection with the Prowler

That's already been established (Prowler Miles)

We know that Uncle Aaron was the Prowler and he was a 'bad guy' and all that. We know that the Prowler in ITSV was supposed to be a bad guy, with his scary theme, the fact that he worked for Kingpin, and the fact that he was trying to kill Miles until he found out who was under the mask.

But the Hobie Brown Prowler is different.

Hobie Brown was a really smart kid who grew up in a really crappy family. His father left when he was a baby and his mom was an alcoholic. He had 9 siblings and all of them were basically forced to raise themselves.

In order to support himself, he became a window-cleaner who used his intellect to build gadgets to make his job easier. When he was eventually fired, he turned to a life of crime, where he would steal money from the Daily Bugle.

But after a confrontation with Spider-man, he realizes this life of crime sucks and he actually becomes an anti-hero. Spider-man even comes to him for help every once in a while and Hobie joins the Silver Sable group, a group of anti-hero mercenaries that includes Sandman.

"The Prowler gives me control over my own life-- and power. Power I can use to protect the helpless."

The Prowler Issue #1

The Prowler gives Hobie power over himself and his identity

It gives him control over his own life and his own future

Now lets connect this to Spiderman Hobie

Hobie advocates for freedom and free speech. He would want people to have control over themselves and their future. He actively fights against a fascist dictatorship in order to provide human rights for all the citizens of London

Being Spider-man means having the freedom to do these things

Having that mask on means being the voice of the people

That's what being Spider-man is to Spiderman Hobie

Now lets connect this to Miles

The first thought Miles has when he sees Hobie is "Damn. He's way cooler than me."

He's jealous of Hobie, not just cuz he's close with Gwen, but because he's an older boy who knows what he wants, does what he wants, and doesn't have to worry about other people's perceptions of him.

He's the definition of cool

Miles in the meanwhile is struggling to balance his classes, struggling to keep his identity a secret and feeling completely alone in his world

He's struggling with anxiety, panic attacks, maybe even a little bit of depression from what we saw in The Spider Within

He's struggling with the meaning of Spider-man

He's working so hard to protect his city, help the helpless, to fill those shoes that the original Peter Parker left behind. Hobie Brown's Prowler does the same thing, where he takes inspiration from Spider-man to fuel himself and his goals

Miles doesn't have control over his own life. At the end of ATSV, he doesn't even have control over his own future or his own fate.

Hobie Brown wanted control and power. Hobie Brown became the Prowler to have control and power.

Miles Morales wants control and power. Miles is fighting against his canon event because he needs that control over his future and he needs that power in his life.

Because both Spider-man and the Prowler are good people that have been put in tough situations.

And both of them want control over their own lives

Miles and the Hobie Brown Prowler share that connection. Spider-man in general shares that connection with the Prowler. I think that's pretty cool.

like what a way to cut right to James's biggest insecurity right? as if that boy doesn't walk around every day of his life wondering whether or not he's good enough, or happy enough, or strong enough

truly throughout that whole fic I tried to pepper in moments where you see James struggling under the narrative weight that has been placed upon him by the fandom to be the moral centre of the story, and he's constantly like "everyone needs me to be good, i'm supposed to be good, but things just keep getting harder and messier and i can't see anymore, i don't know where the light is, i don't know what i'm doing, im letting everyone down, they need me more than they need anyone else and im letting them down"

so yeah. when reg just casually throws out that whole "you being here is not enough" james absolutely carries that with him until the day he dies, though, like with many things regulus says, it is darkly true, james is not enough to save him.

so on a whim I started reading omniscient reader’s viewpoint manhwa

..and got hooked on the story so hard that I easily blasted through all available eps in less than a week. istg they put dr*gs in this thing it’s so good???? 😭

lets get this out of the way first.

GUYSSSSS 🥺 LISTEN. HE’S SUCH A GOOD PROTAGONIST. MY TRAUMA BOY. MY DUDE WITH THE POWER TO INFODUMP PEOPLE TO DEATH. YOU SELF-SACRIFICING IDIOT. his cunning intelligence makes him super attractive what can I say, I LOVE smart mcs with ambiguous morality and self sacrificial nature

here’s a big ✨shut your mouth✨ to every character who’s said he’s ugly- get your eyes checked, get a job get away from him (I know it’s because of the fourth wall’s filter it’s not their fault I’m just being silly)

the fourth wall is such a cool power to have. the complexity of how it acts based on his perception of fiction vs reality as the reader …. that’s very interesting and well thought out!!! how it lowkey has a consciousness too and it’s so tied into his mental state makes me want to psychoanalyze this guy even more. probably one of the most unique powers I’ve seen created and explored in a story tbh

I think the entire system of how the world works is really well done in general. constellations watching the apocalyptic bloodbath via livestream and sending donos to their favorite little guys shouldn’t work as well as it does and cracks me up so much 😭 (uriel is the best). I enjoy learning about all the irl different fables, history & mythologies too. plus doing my own research is fun! I did a deep dive through the web to learn about dokkaebi folklore lol I’m having a good time

I also related hard to how dokja read TWSA throughout his life, the story was a companion for him. got choked up bc I reflected on how much my own favorite companion stories for years mean to me. there’s been situations I’ve thought “what would (character) do?” dokja saying stuff like “what would joonghyuk do?” felt like I got called out <3 I’d probably be the same as him if my favorite characters suddenly came to life

anyways yeah I caught up with the manhwa looked online and discovered it comes from an already completed novel with over 500 chapters and the manhwa is barely a third into adapting it though it’s been releasing every week for 4 years. and that it’ll take like 10 more years to finish. I then planted my face in my hands and screamed with despair

I’ll shrivel up waiting to see what happens……………heyyy woahhhh.. whats this light of salvation ? the novel file just completed download on my phone ? that’s crazyy wow I opened it ? im scrolling it right now ? omg I’m telling myself in the mirror “pace yourself, try to space your reading out do NOT read too fast” ?

jokes aside im excited, first I’ll take some time to read back through the earlier chapters for extra context of scenes! >:D after I finish doing that…. pls pray for my self-control to try stretching this for as long as possible. I’m pumped to see what happens next with this demon king part so maybe I’ll read along with the manhwa unless I get too impatient heh

to conclude- I had no idea the fandom of orv was so passionate. while closing my eyes to spoilers, I was looking at beautiful fanart and animatics (watched this one and ascended that’s one of my fav rin songs). I can tell how much you guys love the story, there’s always going to be people like me who get interested so keep it up :D if the fandom does end up reading this, ummm *knocks on the door* hi im new

yesssss another ascendant astarion tragedy enjoyer, the whole situation is so juicy narratively imo. i think both endings are really important to understanding the character as a whole (true of every character in bg3, rly).

like. the theme of trust is so compelling in astarion’s romance arc, and the fact that the two routes handle his fear of weakness and being known in completely disparate ways is. so yummy. spawn astarion comes to a point where he understands that love does mean that someone will see the tender, raw parts of you and you have to trust them with that, the same way they’ll trust you with theirs. ascendant astarion veers in the opposite direction—the only way he “trusts” his lover is to have complete control over them. he assumes a role again, a mask that only slips in anger or frustration. he may never be open or vulnerable again. ascending seals away that part of astarion for the sake of “safety”, trading chains for a gilded cage of his own making.

like, that’s fascinating?? so sad that discourse has made the whole spawn/ascension thing a landmine 😭😭

Honestly I feel like it is almost a disrespect when 'fans' say you cannot enjoy the 'evil' endings for any of the companions. Like obviously I don't actually want to see them suffer, but the WRITING is something to praise. There was SO MUCH hard work and passion put into writing these stories and characters, and we should be able to discuss it/appreciate it without worrying so much about being called 'morally bad' for doing something in a VIDEO GAME.

Not every story is going to be sunshine and rainbows, not everyone is going to get a happy ending, and that is what makes it fun! Evil characters can be fun! Tragic endings can be FUN (just look at CP2077, there is no 'good ending' for anyone in Night City, but it is still SO FUN).

You can appreciate it without condoning the behaviour in real life, which, like I said, I think a lot of people struggle with that separation, especially when they get really attached to a character.

What isn't fun is judging or claiming someone is a bad person because of a choice they made in a video game... like yeah in fallout 4 I nuked the entire institute and everyone inside, including my own son... but like obviously i'm not going to do that in real life?? LOL

so the nightbringer website is open now and from what it says, the mc is gonna be in this game too? and it seems like romance is still gonna be involved? I wasn't expecting that honestly, I was thinking mc wouldn't be apart of this at all.

but if this is the case, does that mean that we're gonna find out what mc really is (they obviously aren't human in canon, but not everyone thinks of mc the same way so that doesn't seem like a good choice on their part) or maybe it will be whoever mc was in the past life? the only other thing I can see is mc going back in time again but that also seems like a weird thing to do.

maybe I'm overthinking what's on the website but it's just not something I even considered until this moment lmao

still v excited for the new game, I really hope that even if they do keep mc as a main part in the game, that the romance is a small part of it (or rather that it's not thrown at you in every scene lol) and that we actually get a good story on how the brothers came to the devildom and more understanding on all of the characters in general.

Honestly (I might be completely wrong here) I think it's gonna take place in flashbacks or something similar? Like we're gonna be skipping between the past and present. Because the opening showed Luke in it and he (as stated in S3) wasn't alive while the brothers were still angels/during the time of the fall. Plus it showed Thirteen with Diavolo but S4 heavily implied that she first visited the Devildom in S4 itself. So if this is the case then MC and the romance elements would be taking place in the present (though I wouldn't mind seeing MC interact with the brothers when they were angels again, tbh)

I think this game is what's gonna be used to introduce Michael? He's been built up since S1 but some of the things said about him makes him seem like a heavily morally grey character and exploring that in a game like OM! which is just straight up a wholesome otome game won't work because he'll have to be watered down in order to become a LI. But if they introduce him in nightbringer through flashbacks (possibly in anticipation of him appearing in the present) then they wouldn't have to worry about watering him down as much (specially because the opening hints at nightbringer being more lore and angst driven)

I would really like to know more about what the hell MC is because, like it or not, general MC does have a lot of canon facts about them that are sprinkled throughout the game (here's my post that lists all of them) and the fact that they're not fully human is one of them that is brought up as early as in Season 1 (also the time it's brought up the most clearly/directly) and then hinted at/reintroduced in the following 3 seaons (post w/ canon evidence)

Also looks like it might actually jump between past and present but in the form of timetravel rather than flashbacks? Not proper timetravel where they'll manage to remember each other later but something similar to what happened in S3 maybe? Okay but the fic potential of this!!? The angst potential!!!?

i loved genshin i played it for over 3 years but by sumeru their characters stopped appealing to me, arlecchino saved me from boredom in fontaine and that archon quest was also really good but character wise she’s the only one i care about. with natlan and those white ass characters i just cant like logging in and seeing white people with latin indigenous/african inspired clothing, names and history pisses me off to no end, they lost me forever with that one bc yelan reran and i still didn’t log in consistently to get her cons… shes c3 forever now. i get mad seeing any natlan character atp like im so over this stupid game

not liking natasha is insane… if you like himeko theres no reason to not be as crazy about nat because they’re so similar personality wise and we actually know more about nat than we do about hsr himeko rn😭 i don’t see why you don’t see the appeal honestly, she’s a sweetheart who’s upheld an entire city basically on her own. not to diminish wildfire members but she literally created that too. only doctor in an impoverished and disorganized city, runs an orphanage, leader of the sole organization meant to keep the peace… she’s willingly taking on all of that responsibility because she can and wants to help. shes not even from the underworld, she was adopted by a couple in the overworld and did her studies there. not to mention that before she was a doctor in the underworld she went on expeditions to heal those fighting against/researching the fragmentum…she’s literally the most “morally good” aligned person ever. disliking her is kinda unimaginable to me bc all shes done is save people’s lives and be pretty. kafka’s nothing compared to my natty. i get it if she’s just not your kind of character but disliking her is insane to me when himeko is the same kind of kind-hearted, diplomatic, intelligent, courageous, ruthless-when-need-be person😭 natasha stepped up and saw people dying all around her for over a decade, she gave kids like Seele a future and a purpose in life and has spent every day fighting for them, she’s even condemned her own brother because the methods he was using for his research/goals were hurting others. hasnt talked to her parents in years and didnt know her dad had died because of it so she wasn’t allowed a moment to grieve like im sorry shes a hero of the people, no one has worked harder than she has— i’ll die defending natasha she’s incredibly admirable and inspiring to me. she thanks her patients for surviving gruesome surgeries, imagine the amount of people she’s lost because of the underworld’s lack of supplies yet she CARRIES ON! the strongest person ever. and she’s so gorgeous like that’s my baby fr. plus her voice is really nice. she’s the whole package, i take her so seriously if theres only one natasha fan in the galaxy its me!!! thee only healer for months before lynx came out, let’s all remember our roots (i wasn’t there but wtv) for a second. everyone’s used natty she’s an OG!

actually, i don't really have any well developed OCs, because i mostly draw fanart or just some random things, but i have one D&D character i care about pretty much and one OC i made to create stories with my friend!! and unfortunately i almost have no sketches of any of them 😅

so, the first one is sir Oswald, occasional paladin whose faith is actually based on various superstitions and self-delusions (he was heavily based on the green knight from the 2021 movie but then developed into even bigger disaster because every game for me is 'be funny and make your friends laugh or die' 😅 so he is just me most of the times).

also sir Oswald has an armoured bikini, a big dream to become famous and a really tragic moral dilemma because he believes that his best friend is possessed by evil :)

the second one is a vampire named Solomon Lambe, my friend helps me to develop his story together with their own OC! he was a lord in Tudor England, questioning religion and the difference between confessions.

so, basically, one time he helped some protestant guys or whatever to escape but they were attacked by the beast deep in the forest, all died, only Solomon survived. caught by royal guards he ended up being hanged the very same day, but then he gained consciousness after his body was driven away and found out that he is pretty much hungry and was turned into something by that beast from the forest. in general, for a long time he lived in the forest, trying to starve and fight the hunger, but snapping up every one-two months and creating a big disasters in some villages. but occasionally he tried to return to civil life, met his partner Gospel (my friend's OC, he is also a vampire, was created by the same beast) and then a lot of things happened i have no proper arrangement of 😅

i fancasted Blake Ritson as Solomon with his giant beautiful eyes 😭 also Solomon has an unilateral incomplete cleft lip which makes it difficult to hide his vampire teeth which also creates some problems. i have only one skecth of him in some 19th century outfit and that's all, uuhhhhh

daaaamn, it's the first time i rambled about them outside of my friend's DM and i have no understanding of when i need to stop :)

To be honest, I don’t think I have a favourite sea creature. For now, due to my love for the Octa-trio, I have a big soft spot for moral eels and octopuses. A couple of years ago we had a phase during which we read a lot about sharks. The fact that baby sharks are called pups!! I’m still obsessed with this fact.

In general, sea is fascinating and truly beautiful, but it was never really my thing, so I don’t know much about different kinds of creatures… Should definitely work on that 🤔

Omg you’re right, we only posted him once (not counting a chibi drawing + fem!Leona in a big genderswap post). It’s so funny, I feel like I draw him every now and then because of commissions (thank you, everyone orz), but at the end of a day we barely have anything Leona-related. The only character less lucky than him is probably poor Cater…

To be completely honest, Leona just isn’t usually on my radar, and even though I sketch him sometimes, those sketches rarely get finished and are mostly posted on ko-fi. Sorry 😔

AAAH honestly Anon it would be such an interesting story to read and/or watch. Kalim would probably consider giving up multiple times, but ultimately decide against it because he doesn’t really want to die either lol

To Jamil it would absolutely be a joy though. I think some of Kalim’s relatives would try to bribe him out of helping Kalim though, “kill him in his sleep and we will give you a better life” type of deal. But Jamil would refuse~ Not because he’s loyal to Kalim or anything, of course of course.

Anon, this ship is so good visually with the size difference and all, and Epel salivating at the thought of Jack’s muscles because he really wants to have muscles himself (in reality he is just attracted to Jack) is such a good idea, and we absolutely see its potential… but unfortunately somehow they don’t click with us just yet. Maybe it’s because it feels too fluffy, with Epel getting in trouble and Jack getting him out of trouble? Maybe we’re missing this spice because we haven’t seen a lot of their interactions. Only time will tell…

Nothing against it of course though! Epel should get railed by a big wolf man.
