when people talk about june i dont think theyre doing it right. they give her like cute pigtails and croptops and programmer socks and all these girly interests like makeup. no. she wears nothing but nic cage t-shirts and cargo shorts. she still doesnt know what a bra is. i dont think she's ever stepped foot in a bath and body works in her entire life. i think she uses 3-in-one body wash/shampoo.

#'sorry for barging' anon #sorry gonna answer this in the tags since it's such a loaded topic #but yeah exactly- i think a lot of it comes down to people wanting them to perform their (very real) grief for an audience #and getting mad when they don't. which is wildly unfair and unrealistic and just... extremely entitled #and very much coming from a lack of understanding of grief and that it's not a perpetual state of uncontrollable crying #a massive part of grief is continuing living with all its up and down moments with a new heavy weight in the background #living in a perpetual state of sobs is not something any human can sustain. it involves adapting and continuing to live.#and that involves doing regular everyday things AND experiencing happy moments still. that does not mean you aren't still suffering.#to question whether they're 'truly' grieving is.... kinda evil and completely ridiculous lmao #and shows a massive lack of basic empathy and understanding of how human emotions work #we see less than 1 percent of their lives. to actually feel like you have the ability to judge someone's grieving process in general #is wild and weird but especially when you literally have seen nearly none of their lives in the past few months #i'm sure all of us have laughed and seen a friend and had other happy moments since october #that doesn't mean we do not miss liam and that we aren't devastatingly sad at other points.#and to somehow think that zouis reconnecting and being happy about it after such a tragic event would be somehow anti-liam is insane #i've even seen people judge zayn for not cancelling his entire tour which is so.....#if they for a second think that liam would have been petty enough to enjoy the idea of all of his friends stopping in their tracks forever #they clearly didn't really know him since he was clearly always SO supportive of everyone in 1d #and probably would have been very happy to see zayn and louis mend their relationship #it feels like a very weird way to make a fucking death and real life grief from his friends into a stan war which is......... beyond gross

aw I'm so glad you think it's wonderful!! RotS doesn't happen too different for the most part, but Anakin just reports Palpatine, Mace & Co go to kill Palps and get their asses kicked and Palps orders Order 66 and the Empire rises without its numero uno scary guy Darth Vader

Fun fact: if you make a compilation of all Adam scenes - trailers, shorts, and mentions included - it would be 45 minutes long

#rwde #i roughly slapped together a chronological order of the wf/adam video and it was 3 hours #iirc volumes 1-6 including trailers and shorts is abt 20 hours #so the personal arc of one of four titular heroes gets a whopping 15% of screentime and her personal antagonist less than 4%#its so funny how many people will launch a crusade against a character who gets only FOUR PERCENT of the shows runtime while he's alive #and exactly zero of his scenes are actually abt him. we never get to truly meet Adam like we do w Killmonger or Magneto #both of those guys had the first scene of their movies dedicated to their backstory!!! it sets the tone of the whole damn thing!!#but adam doesn't even get exposition. most of his stuff is either shrieked out in song or implied by behavior and scar #this is smth thats in my essay but i cant help but keep gnawing on it like a rabid dog #besides what is the rwde tag if not a testing ground for my arguments

that being said, think the fact that the two most popular ships for Mouthwashing is Jimcurly and Curlya is just fucking hilarious to be honest because they're just like. Opposite ships to me. Cockroach and his beautiful Golden Retriever vs Cat and Dog synergy

Notes: This is what I was working on all up until November! I wanted to finish it in time for a fan event, but, it didn't quite happen in time that way. (Maybe I can finish it later this year?!) For now, please enjoy the preview! I was also working on this together with a mutual - the track choice was mainly their idea, but I was trying to help find scenes that'd fit, and I managed to make quite a few moments work; You'll notice it's slightly different from my usual styles, but I'm also trying to relate specific moments and framing rather clearly here!!
