What the $4.99
So, c.ai put out an automatic response generator thing and I understand why they got rid of it so fast.
Makes sense, right? I have tons more.
Ah yes, the two genders.
More genders. Also there's a weird bug where it seems to think that the AI is responding so sometimes I have an identity crisis. Also also, hehe. Generator.
What.
The peck happened here? Also the right one is yet another identity crisis.
First of all, I would never act like that. Second, the left one is an identity crisis.
Yeah. Definitely going to fire a man for crying.
The two genders once again.
Huh?!
Left is an identity crisis, and what on earth happened with the right one?
*wheeze*
Left is identity crisis, and what if im not captive?
Again with the identity crisis. Also what.
No crisis, but why would I say that to him? He don't deserve that!
This... I have no words. Also right is an identity crisis.
Aaaand, thats the last one for now. And identity crisis on the left. Happens a lot, huh?
I'll post more soon.

Shoutout to that time I was selling Girl Scout cookies and I had to pee SO bad but there was no bathroom available and instead of saying, “Hi would you like to buy some Girl Scout cookies?”, I accidentally said, “Hi would you like to go to the bathroom?”

I feel like the 'by accident/on accident' discourse is another one of those mostly US-ian things that is happening - not saying it doesn't happen elsewhere but I feel like it's largely US-ians who are saying 'on accident' - and honestly like with most things I feel like should just ignore them.

Headcannon in crossover form
Picture, if you will, Top Cat and clowder camping out at what turns out being the Secret Surf and Dive Spot of the Hair Bear Bunch, evident when, after TC goes into some naked early-morning surf bathing and observes unto himself "I wonder why coffee tastes so good when you're out naked with your clowder," Square Bear stands in front of TC "himself" and gives a rather friendly "Hi" in his rather dopey voice.
(For some reason, it turns out Square Bear is naked and displays a soft erection of his penis. TC is somehow unfazed at such a display.)

So like do y’all think that the person who thought of the word kidnapping actually said kid-nabbing and everyone just heard them wrong

I'd like to think that if English was a person, it would be an edgy fifteen-year-old who is constantly trying to rebel. Why else would we have the word pineapple when every other language says "ananas"?

Why are so many western fans spelling Mob’s name as “Mobbu”
Even in the Japanese version his name is Mob you just can’t end a word on a hard B consonant like that in Japanese as all words end in a vowel sound or an N.
It isn’t even a proper romaji transliteration. His name is モブ in Japanese, not モッブ. It would have to be the latter to be “Mobbu” in romaji, if you wanted to transliterate the katakana for his nickname it would be “Mobu” or “Mob” depending on how you want to go about the transliteration. Most Japanese speakers would just write it as Mob when using alphabet letters.
It’s perhaps a weird pet peeve, but to me it just reads as people using “engrish” and comes off as more of a mockery than trying to actually stay true to the original imo. You don’t see people calling Edward Elric “Edowarudo Eriku”. It’s just a weird thing to do.

Speaking of "Engrish", I realized that I have not mentioned why I call my comic "manga" instead of "comic". The reason I avoid using the term "comic" is that in Japanglish, it often refers to "a comic book". 😅
If it is called something more specific like "webcomic", of course, the meaning of "book" is lost, but in Japanese, the format itself is referred to as "manga". If it is published as a comic book, it tends to be called a "comic".
So personally, I feel a little uncomfortable using the word "comic" for my manga. (But I do say "comic" for other people's works.)
You all don't have to match me, so use whichever you like!
