I’d like to propose the idea that if landlords and apartments etc can just charge their residents/tenants random fees etc. that we should be allowed to do the reverse.... Oh, you never actually came to fix my window locks or replaced the missing outlet cover even though I put in the request literally when I moved in 18 months ago? Cool $100 charge 

Not to mention, when you came to fix my leaking ceiling you actually had to come back FOUR times to fix it because you never actually fixed it. $300 for that one please You painted the floor of the apartment building at 1pm on a Saturday so my shoes and welcome mat got completely ruined when I got home from the grocery store because I had to get paint all over them in order to get back into my apartment? Another $100 please and thank you.

I often think about how Lewis said he personally called so many drivers in 2020 and personally asked them to kneel for BLM. I think about how he said he personally tried to explain the protest to them and answer all their questions. I think about how he felt when so many of them still declined. I think about how he was fined for wearing shirts for BLM. I think about how F1 stopped him from wearing a shirt that simply said "Justice for Breonna Taylor." because F1 wanted to 'de-politicise' the sport. I think about how when they asked Stefano Domenicali, the CEO of F1, about Lewis' activism, he said F1 is not racist and he does not "Percieve" the racism Lewis is talking about.

I think about how Nelson Piquet, who was fined $1 million for racially abusing Lewis on video was *banned* from the paddock. I think about how he just showed up to the paddock today clearly wearing a paddock pass and hanging out outside of Red Bull, not even hiding inside.

I think how this is all so symptomatic of how rotten to the core F1 is. How Lewis being the most successful driver in the history of the sport did not spare him from this.

Wow I sure do love the Arcane ending where Viktor and Jayce reset the universe to be identical to the No Hextech universe, except Vi gets to be alive and the main characters keeps their memories but none of the trauma, and Viktor, Jayce, and Mel get to have a big poly steampunk wedding. My favorite part was when Caitlyn caught the bouquet and Vander and Silco immediately started bickering about how Vi should propose, while Jinx begins teasing her sister. I also liked the part where Ekko and Jinx became Art/Science double majors and everyone was happy

after literal years i finally got around to downloading a pdf of the wipers times, an unsancitioned satitical british trench magazine circulated among the troops in france from 1916-1918 after the fortuitous discovery of a printing press. i have approximately five million other things i need to read so idk when i'll be able to devote much time to it, and i gotta pick up a proper copy bc it's missing at least salient no 4 vol 2. that said? i'm genuinely laughing at what i've skimmed so far

Probably one of the best things for me in that episode was the final card pull. Cause anyone who knows anything about tarot probably knows the death card does not actually represent death literally. It represents something coming to the end, yes, but it also represents new beginnings and moving forward. It is overall a positive card to draw upright, representing growth, transformation, and change, rather than stagnation.

And so, they don't show us Lilia's death.

Instead, we see how Lilia changes, realizing how much she cares about the coven and how much she loves being a witch, realising that these powers are a gift no matter how unruly. We see her finally accepting her fate. And they show us the new beginning, back in that garden it all started in, as she sits down with her teacher at that table, and she says

"Let's begin again."

It's insanely sad to read post after post of gentiles talking about how at least we all have each other and all we can do now is draw strength from our queer and leftist communities bc Jews literally cannot do this.
