Fantasy creature Phighters! (PHIGHTING!)

Hi tumblr. Guess who’s alive again!!!! Anyways here’s sword and rocket as fantasy creatures, I actually made these a long time ago but I just completely forgot to post them :’DD

for those curios, this is like a mini little fun silly au of mine, nothing much and I’m not gonna draw anything for it in the future but it was me turning Phighters into different fantasy monsters or creatures, currently:

Rocket is a Kelpie Centaur, Sword is a harpy, Scythe would be a Greek Sphinx, Subspace would be a manticore, Coil would be a Japanese Knobold, Broker would be a siren, Slingshot would be a werecat, etc etc! Here’s an extra little fun doodle by the way, I hate them. /aff

my friend and I went to the opening of Nicolette Lim’s show at Happy Gallery Chicago yesterday! Everything was so beautiful 🖤🥀

I love how three-dimensional the art pieces are and parts of the drawings/frames remind me a ton of lolita rectangle headdresses <3 This is the second show we’ve been to at this gallery and they’ve both been so cool!! The artist also does tattoos and has a tumblr blog @nicolettelim-tattoo

i think grani arknights is an amazing character that needs more recognition for what she is rather than ahah skadi's horsie because she doesn't just exist for skadi obviously. also people need to stop thinking she's stupid, her files actually point out that she's a very good strategist in battle and that she doesn't run head first into things. fandom in general needs to stop thinking that positivity/optimism = stupidity. anyway, grani is a really good character and i wish she had gotten more attention, but it's fine because i have headcanons. i believe that she used to struggle a lot with self confidence when she was younger, it's noted in her files that many used to make fun of her for her height or just her lack of anything really unique. but that she started to ignore these comments and those who tried to discourage her when she found why she wanted to fight for justice so much; it's nothing to do with pride, or because she thinks is cool, but it's because she wants to be someone other people can trust and rely on, not necessarily someone people had called for help, but someone who can still provide this help regardless. she's amazing i think and her outview on life is a good perspective to have, to only focus on the bare minimum and being happy of it. to love and admire the small things in life. to be aware that you will never become one of those heroes in the legends you used to read when you were younger, but that it shouldn't stop you from bringing help to those in need.

How’s Fields of Mistria? You mentioning it was the second time I heard of it, the first time being in passing, so I’m not too knowledgeable about the game.

Fields of Mistria is SUPER fun, since there's not much to do in it after you've completed the first year right now, I've dedicated myself to breeding and collecting all the seasonal variants of horses so I can name them after the four Horsemen of the Apocalypse!

I also named all my barns after metamorphised lovers in greek myth because I have exactly one thought running through my head at any given point in time (Currently there's Crocus Coop where I keep my (gorgeous wonderful lovely adorable ouugh I LOVE THEMMM!!) blue chickens

Cypress Barn where I keep my wonderful cows (who have been with me the longest and whom I cherish immensely! I'm not sure if Autumn cows are possible but I'm definitely aiming for a barn of all red and autumnal cows for obvious reasons)

Minthe Barn where I keep all of my other large animals like sheep, alpacas and my very first beloved Chiron (black and white) and Iris (brown with spots) (the foal is Rigel) 🥺

And Hyacinthus Barn where I have a collection of small animals like rabbits, capybaras and my PRIZED DUCKS LEDA (the pretty blue and green duckie) AND CYCNUS (the pure white duck meant to mimic a swan!!) Even though it's technically a coop, I mistakenly labelled it a barn when I was inputting the name and I never changed it LOL

My farm is also named after THE metamorphosized lover, Daphne herself, so it's called Laurel Farm

And I'm planning for my Seasonal Horse barn to be named after the poplar since I quite like Leuke's story and I think she's fitting of housing the horses that will be the steeds of War, Pestilence, Conquest and Famine :)

Bonus: My house is still small and eclectically decorated, but keeping in theme with my farm, I do hope to go for a flower/garden theme

Had a little rage moment (privately in my car) after my second day of saddle fitting.

On the second day someone brought in a Tennessee Walking Horse. Me and my team were working on another horse so didn't get much from how that consult went.

Later I heard that the horse was lame as all hell, but that the owner claims that that's "just his gaitedness".

I didn't explode with everyone around me. I just calmly said that that's a severe lack of knowledge of gaitedness, never mind horses in general.

But once I was on the main road where I could step on the gas I screamed out loud, in my car, and hated the world just a little bit, and reminded myself that this is also part of trying to make the world a little better.

Maybe I'm lucky to have ridden quite a few Icelandic horses in my life that I can hear and feel the difference in the varying degrees of tölt a horse can show, and that I definitely know when a horse is lame or even just a little 'off'.

I'm just baffled that people can look at their horse, can have professionals look at their horse, can have a class of people with a collective shit-ton of experience look at your horse and then still, still claim that lameness is simply the gaitedness of the horse.
