DPXDC CFAU Headcanon: Ghostspeak Edition

Ghosts in the Infinite Realms who saw Jason and Danny together called them "luzdra", a term in ghost speak that directly translates into the words "shared soul". It's literal definition is; "two ghosts with a bond so deep that it was as if they had split their souls in half and given one to the other", but in general it just means two ghosts with a profound, indescribable bond.

Luzdrus is the singular form of the word, and refers to only one ghost in the bond. While "luzdra" is plural and either refers to both of them together, or the relationship as a whole. It depends on the context of the conversation and who they're saying it to.

There is no romantic, platonic, or familial connotation behind the word. It just means "someone who shares a deep bond with someone" and can be between anyone.

It also does not mean soulmate, and if you say that you'll be corrected. Soulmates implies that their bond was destined by the universe, luzdra are two people who developed and built that bond themselves. It's a relationship forged between two (or more) people.

Some of Danny's rogues -- like Kitty and Johnny, who might've seen the two together and are possibly luzdra themselves -- still call him 'luzdrus' even after Jason's disappearance from the Zone. Danny doesn't know how to feel about it.

The way that Olrox’s heritage and romance completely recontextualized his character. We first meet him when he kills Julia, and that’s bad no matter how you look at it, right? Wrong. Julia is a white European who came to the Americas and killed Olrox’s Mohican lover. Olrox retaliated, which is bad, yes, but how else was he going to get justice? No government would ever try a vampire hunter for the murder of a vampire, and no government would prosecute a white woman for harming a Native American. People like her were committing a state-sanctioned genocide. Even the suggestion of legal justice is ridiculous on its face. Julia’s death was wrong in the sense that violence doesn’t solve violence, in the sense that revenge begets revenge, but that’s it IMO. Olrox didn’t go any further—he didn’t torture her, he didn’t kill her son, AFAIK he didn’t kill anyone else that day. The only time we see him kill another human is in France when he kills a European noblewoman, the exact kind of person who profited most from the violence inflicted on him and his people. What I’m saying is that I’m dead serious when I say Olrox did nothing wrong

the thing about the wyrms is that usually they just don't move. they stay underground because it's where the crawling beasts are but also because they are just not the type of creature that can easily go anywhere. one that gets dragged aboveground will probably die of sunstroke and dehydration before anything else. they cannot use magic anymore. one travelling overland by choice has never happened before, ever, let alone a multi-year march supported entirely by an army of followers. To many people seeing this, they instinctively think it a sign of the end times, something deeply and intrinsically wrong with the world, something impossible. Of course this only works because Revelation can cast spells but eventually it doesn't need to, for any but it's closest inner circle, because despite the fear people hold for it, they are still drawn along, they know the world might end and they want to be on the right side. Or they just want to witness what they believe to be the dawn of a new age

Professor Ian Duncan (John Oliver was so charmingly awkward in the show, it’d be an absolute farce if he didn’t show up for at least 5 minutes)

Magnitude (Luke Youngblood’s character is so needed, just ONE “Pop - POP” would ease my struggles)

Garrett (Erik Charles Nielsen’s story may feel finished, but how is Garrett doing? Is he still at Greendale?)

Neil (Charley Koontz’s story didn’t end by the end of the TV show, I would like to know if he’s happy? Is he hosting a famous DND Webshow? Tell me what happened to him!!!!)

I just need to know if they’re okay. And if Yvette isn’t in the movie I will be so upset, she deserves so much better than being forgotten by Harmon because she may not be important to the plot. Same with Paget’s character, though she was only here for one season she was lovely while she was here and she is SO a part of the nipple-dippers.

Had a sudden revelation earlier while getting out of the shower where I was like. I can be glad that I am happy with my weight and not think that stretch marks are inherently bad or ugly and sometimes wish I didn't get quite so many. Not many on my stomach, mostly just the tiny one I had from being pregnant with Leo turned into a big massive one that's like 1cm wide and a few cm long lol but they are absolutely all over my hips, my bum, my thighs (front and back and big deep ones on the inner thighs), even down to my calves. I know they'll fade but most of them are still red or purple rn. There's nothing wrong with them but also I didn't ask to be suddenly covered with them and it's okay that I don't always love that lmao
