Hi ^^! I hope you’re doing well 💖 I love your Wayhaven takes so I was wondering what other IFs you enjoy?

Honestly TWC opened up a massive can of worms and I’m like drowning in them at this point.

Anything @pdrrook touches is absolute gold and I heavily recommend checking out Perfumare. I’m a Reed stan myself

The Golden Rose by @anathemafiction Is another big, big favorite of mine. The world building, the characters, the options, it’s all *chef’s kiss*. Couldn’t even tell you who I simp for most because I love all the ROs so much. Also one of my absolute favorite subscriptions on Patreon :)

The Soul Stone War by @intimidatingpuffinstudios is another big favorite. Book 1 and book 2 are out, with book 3 in the works! Such a great author, the writing in this is so fun

Viatica by @fir-fireweed is a new one that I’m recently obsessed with as well. Such a unique story and I can’t wait for more updates

The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes: An Affair of the Heart by @doriana-gray-games is also such a fun one. The writing is fun, the characterization is fun, and who doesn’t love a mystery. Would give my life for Watson

What will the ROs be like in your if once you have it going

Nothing is set in stone for like customizable gender or anything until I know how hard coding it would be to do that so in my notes they’re set gender and if coding customizable gender is easy I’ll have to think of changes for the overall plot… I will definitely be making a blog just for it but it’s going to be basically only child, royal MC forced to marry but has a choice out of a group of suitors and there’s more to it than that but that’s the bare bones. Again, the ROs genders are set for now until I become educated on coding… we have:

RO #1: The classic childhood friends to lovers. Have been by each others side since diapers and there’s nothing they wouldn’t do for the MC. Loves the MC in every timeline, every route. Golden retriever type, very extroverted and popular. Doesn’t believe the MC would ever actually be interested in them romantically and they’re just happy to have the MC in any way they can. Joins the suitors to give MC a familiar face to choose. Again, thinks nothing romantic would ever come of it but maybe you can surprise them :p

RO #2: (Potentially one sided) enemies to reluctant friend/crush to lovers. Also known each other since childhood but not as long as RO #1. Hard working, blunt, and cold. Works in the kitchens at the palace and potentially the MC’s voice of reason. Very “I don’t care about anyone but you”. Ambitious but wishes that status didn’t factor into things. Not part of the suitor gang due to status.

RO#3: The rake character. Potential FWB to lovers? can’t think of a better trope to label this one. Not the heir or the spare to their country’s throne so they live the easy life and take nothing seriously. Is part of the suitor gang but not necessarily by choice. Very charismatic, very good at acting and putting on whatever face gets them the most favor, and truthfully doesn’t care about a lot of things one way or the other. Goes with the flow. Maybe the MC could give them something to be serious about.

RO#4 heir to the throne of the kingdom you’re at war with. Joins the battle for MC’s hand to stop the war and have a peaceful alliance. Wants to have this work no matter how, would like to stop the bloodshed no matter what. Happy if romance blooms, happy if it’s just friendship. Very peaceful and kind, the black sheep of their family known for being cruel and cutthroat. Incredibly likable. The angstiest of the routes.

RO#5: Aristocrat friend, hasn’t known you from childhood like RO#1 & #2 and is relatively new to your kingdom and their family’s title. Your confidant who is… less protective is the wrong word but less protective than RO#1 & 2. Unable to be part of the suitor gang. Very playful, mischievous, and likes to tease. A complicated route similar to RO#3 but not quite,

Who is Rebecca most worried about the detective getting involved with? Other than the villain LI for book four lol

Rebecca really doesn't want to get involved in that side of the MC's life.

But she does has reservations about the MC and Nate/Nat.

Nate/Nat has some…secrets that make them more than they seem, and knowing those secrets, Rebecca really hopes N is going to admit them soon, or her lack of involvement may change...
