The chairlift to the top of The Nut only takes a few minutes and it is definitely easier than the path, which is very steep but worth doing at least once. I walked it last time we were in Stanley so just enjoyed the ride up and down The views over Stanley are quite spectacular and the walk around the top is lovely and a good track.
