i didn't understand peoples obsession with fall until i moved slightly further south like just a couple hours (i used to live in the coldest area in the state) because to me it just meant 30 degree weather and raining/frosting every day. everything died off in mid september its miserable

#so back in May when that g5 solar storm hit and the majority of the usa saw the northern lights #it was cloudy here and we didn’t see shit which was extremely disappointing #but we’re under a g4 storm warning for tonight and it’s clear out and there’s a very good chance we’re gonna get to see them hopefully #gonna drive out to a dark spot to try to have a better look #I saw them when I was 12 (33 now omg 🫠) and I really want to see them again cause pretty amazing #my husband has never see them so we’ve got our fingers crossed #we’re in southeastern pa and apparently it was visible here last night too #but tonight’s is supposed to be stronger so #here’s hoping!#very excited to go aurora hunting
