happy wife, happy life â gojo satoru
synopsis. not fawning over his wife may prove to be harder than gojo thought.
contents. fluff, gojo is so whipped for his wife and everyone is tired (whats new), ooc gojo?
notes. this was pure self indulgence. i wanted to slander and coddle gojo all at once and this was it teehee :3
the first thing you hear when you stand up to leave the staff meeting is a wolf whistle.
âlooking good,â satoru looks you up and down. you roll your eyes playfully, your husbandâs behavior is not foreign to you. he taps your upper thigh, dangerously close to your butt as you take your leave. however, the others in the room don't take kindly to the action.
âhighly inappropriate behavior gojo,â utahime mutters under her breath from across the table. beside her, nanami is giving your husband a hard stare.Â
satoru pays no mind to them though, smiling up at you as you walk out of the room. you shake your head when he continuously blows a series of kisses. he ignores your rejection, opting to mouth crude comments instead.
the moment the door shuts, the strongest sorcerer immediately deflates, disinterested in whatever matters the rest had to discuss about.Â
âi donât know how she puts up with you,â utahime takes a long sip out of her cup of tea. beside her, shoko snorts.
âprobably for his body.â shoko is not unfamiliar with satoruâs antics, having witnessed it since his rowdy school days. she applauds him for coming far with you, but it was still fun to tease him.
gojo crosses his arms, emitting a disgruntled sound. âand my golden personality?â
nanami sighs, âieiriâs conclusion is most likely right.â
the limitless user wiggles his finger playfully. ânanamin, how scandalous of you to fantasize about my body! iâm a married man yâknow~âÂ
nanami looks like he has eaten something sour. unlike you, nanamiâs attitude towards gojo has not softened as the years passed.
âiâm surprised sheâs still with you.â utahime snickers. âsheâs a sensible woman and youâreââÂ
satoru frowns at her statement. heâd never thought about how you felt about his behavior. perhaps that was his fatal flaw. gojo satoru had a nasty streak of negligence. and the last time he failed to notice someone dear to him â  Â
âwell iâm glad she ended up choosing me, yeah?â his frown is quickly covered up by the wide smirk on his face. he leans back on his chair thatâs starting to feel less comfortable by the second. the chair creaks under the weight of his body. honestly, how old are these old wooden things? âas much as iâd like to keep chatting about my lovely wife, iâd like to get this meeting over with so i can see her again.â
the rest of the meeting ensues as usual.
âsensei has been weird⊠right?â itadori offers his hand after knocking megumi down during a sparring match. the black haired boy grunts as he is pulled up.
âif by weird, you mean normal.â megumi glances back at you and gojo who are watching intently at the first and second years practicing close combat on the training field. it was a bit peculiar to see satoru not throw himself all over you. gojo without pda is like a jigsaw puzzle missing its most essential piece, leaving the overall picture incomplete and lacking the electrifying energy that defines his existence.Â
âi feel like i should be happy, but itâs unsettling to see him not initiating some misconduct. do you think theyâre fighting?â nobara is panting on the grassy floor. she raises her hand in surrender when maki leaps in to take her head off with a spear.
maki retracts her blade, turning back to observe you and gojo, ânah, gojo would fold at her command.âÂ
âsalmon.â
from across the training field, you turn to your husband nervously, âwhy are they staring at us?â
satoru hums, his blindfolded gaze focuses on the field in front of you, âhm, maybe theyâre admiring their very beautiful [name] sensei.â the blindfolded man pauses. compliments should still be okayâ right? satoru canât imagine a life without lavishing you with love, yet he will content himself with gently sprinkling you with affection.Â
you smack his shoulder playfully. to your surprise, your husband doesnât reciprocate with some form of physical affection. you tilt your head, perplexed.Â
quickly dismissing it, you yell at your students to continue their training.
you donât notice the way satoru clenches his fists, keeping his eyes trained anywhere but you.
the next time satoru is tempted by your presence is when he comes back home after a mission. it was a walk in the park, but the heavy stack of paperwork that followed it had depleted his energy. all he wanted was to snuggle in bed with his wife, selfishly keeping you all to himself.
and youâre not making it easier to resist with the way you warmly greet him with a smile in nothing but a small cotton tee and those tiny pajama shorts. eyes up, eyes up, eyes up, satoru mentally chants.
he thinks he might actually die.
âtoru!â you abandon the book you had been reading to pay your husband taxes (kisses that satoru demands he must have). âyouâre home awfully late.â
âmission⊠paperwork,â his clipped response is mumbled as he hurries past you and to your shared bathroom, avoiding your touch. satoru silently prays to the heavens that you donât notice his suspicious efforts as he makes his way to take a much needed ice cold shower.
you stand in your spot in confusion, letting your husband go. slowly, you start to connect the pieces of satoruâs strange behavior from his refusal to touch you to his sudden responsible disposition. gojo satoru never does paperworkâ not unless you bribe him with a dozen kisses. speaking of kisses, you donât even remember the last time he had demanded one. something was definitely wrong.Â
without missing a beat, you quickly follow your loverâs trail into the bathroom.
to your delight, your husband had failed to lock the door. in the hush of your silence, you can hear the subtle rustle of satoru's garments.
his sky blue eyes go wide when he sees you walk through the door.
âtoru⊠is there something wrong?â your voice is careful.Â
the white haired man in front of you nervously laughs as he covers his bare chest, âgeez, ask me out to dinner first.âÂ
âgojo satoru.â
your husband winces at his full name being used, but he puts on another mask. a faux smile plays on his lips as he shrugs. âi donât know what you mean, gojo.âÂ
your heart drops at his insistence to shut you out, but you stand your ground. with sheer determination, you walk up to your husband, closing the gap between the two of you. you cup his cheek with a hand while you start to lean closer, your lips nearly brushing.
satoru shuts his eyes, inhaling a deep breath to regain composure. he even sucks in his lips, making him look utterly ridiculous. despite the dangerous allure of your proximity, he resolves to stand firm.
"you wonât even kiss me anymore! satoru, this is absurd. what's happening?" you distance yourself, seeking answers.
despite his towering stature, a snort escapes you as satoru resembles a mere child when mumbling something under his breath.
"come on, use your big boy words."
"i don't want to drive you away," he avoids making eye contact now that his blindfold is off. "i know i can be a bit overwhelming at times."
upon hearing his excuse, you snort loudly, âseriously?â
âseriously.â
âi canât believe i married such an idiot.â you huff, wrapping your arms around his neck.
satoru pouts, âyouâre breaking my heart wifey.â
your lips softly kiss the corner of his mouth. like it was muscle memory, satoruâs lips chase yours even after you pull away. you smile.
âfor such a genius, you really are stupid âtoru.â you flick his forehead. he whines and you know it didnât hurt, yet you entertain him by leaning up to kiss his injury. âbelieve it or not, i married you for reasons beyond your pretty face and body.â
âyou think iâm pretty?â his eyes shine bright as they lovingly gaze into yours. you take one hand to cup his cheek. he nuzzles his face into it.
âof course youâd say that.â you laugh softly. âbut honestly, iâm offended that you thought i would ever be annoyed by your affections. might i remind you that we have been madly in love since our youth? i found myself captivated by your ability to love effortlessly, and the way you hopelessly pined for me for years? i knew i was a goner. that⊠and your bank accounââ
satoru kisses you with an intensity that leaves you feeling blissfully lightheaded. lost in the haze of the moment, he showers the rest of your face with tender, wet kisses, and you stand there, surrendering to the sweet assault.
upon withdrawing, satoru wears a broad grin. "i was an idiot today, wasn't i?" you nod, breathless. "how about i make it up to you tonight?" he proposes, drawing you close. you are all too familiar with that feral grin adorning his face.

they dont know about us | c.hansol
pairing : vernon x reader
WHAT ! - being the only person able to read vernon is a strange concept to others, i guess your relationship is unique (in which, your the only person able to read vernons expressions
warnings : kisses, petnames, mentions of the other svt members, mention of dead people, slight skin ship, not proof read, established relationship au
-
WHEN HE HAS A ATTIUDE
seungkwan, vernon, and you were sitting in the middle of seungkwans living room playing uno. things were getting heated since vernon gave you 3 plus 4 uno cards in a row. so in return to help you out, seungkwan gave you a swap card to swap his stack with yours so you could win
âhey, youre suppose to give the stack to me if your gonna place it downâ vernon said, to anyone else his tone would be monotone and blank, but to you, you could hear the slight disappointment in his tactic of teaming up on you.
âmy house, my rulesâ seungkwan replied rolled his eyes at vernon protest as he put down a plus 4 card on vernon. vernons mouth slightly opened in shock, after a few seconds of processing he looked over at you.
to the normal eye this wouldve been a man looking over at someone, but to you this was vernons attitude come in. you could read him perfectly, being able to read anything his face shows from visibly to hidden. no matter how he presents his emotions it seems like you could always tell what hes feeling
âdont give me that look just because you wanted me to loseâ you yelled slightly, he laughed and shook his head knowing he was caught
âwhat look?â seungkwan looked up
âyou didnt see the reaction on his face after you put down the plus 4?â
âyeah the face of a dead person, he didnt make a face it was justâŠblankâ
âyeah i didnt make a faceâ vernon teased making you groan
âhe did make a face! he was giving me attitudeâ you defended yourself to a lost seungkwan and a happy vernon
âyou both are so weirdâ
-
WHEN HES SAD
âi dont know where it could beâ vernon ran his hand through his hair as he sat down on the couch frustrated, right now, he thinks he has his eyebrows furrowed, a pout and a slight redness to his cheek. but in reality hes just blanked out. like a mannequin, just sitting there with a blank stare
âits fine you could always buy anotherâ dino said sitting on the floor eating off the coffee table in front of vernon.
vernon sighed as he slumped himself into the couch even more. âyn bought it for me, i cant replace itâ
âi mean they could always buy you another oneâ
âbut its not the sameâ
just then you walked in through the door saying hi to dino and vernon. as your eyes drifted to vernon you see him slumped on the couch with a very (in your eyes) big pout on his face. sitting right next to him you caressed his cheek âwhats wrong? whats with the look on your face?â
âwhat look?â dino said as he chewed his food puzzled
âyou dont see the big pout on vernons face?â you turned to dino
ânoâ
âits right thereâ you pointed at vernons lips where the pout evidently laid
âi think youre seeing things ynâ
-
WHEN HES SCARED
vernon had his arm around your shoulder as the movie wrapped up. you could feel the gentle grip he had that tighted at times a jump scare came up.
when the movie finally ended, vernon got up and gave you a hand to help you up, as you held his hand you looked over and saw his scared face, automatically you busted out laughing making dokyeom and joshuw look over at you two
âwhats so funny?â dokyeom asked smiling in amusement as he put a piece of popcorn in his mouth
âlook at vernons face, hes so scaredâ you laughed
dokyeom moved his head to look at vernons face and furrowed his eyebrows while looking over at joshua, joshua was just as confused raising his eyebrow.
âyn, vernon does not look scared at allâ joshua chuckled observing vernons expression closer
âwhat do you mean? you dont see his lips quivering?â now it was your turn to furrow your eyebrows
âi think thats your eyes moving really fastâŠi dont think its his lipsâ joshua said making dokyeom laugh
-
WHEN HES IN LOVE
all the members sat around the dinner table with their partners at the house party you and vernon were hosting. vernons finger caressed your thigh in a comforting way letting you know he was there. you laid your hand ontop of vernons fingers and whispered to him
âlets go start on the dishes as they talkâ
he nods and lets you get up first before following you to the kitchen. the kitchen gave a view of the dining room to you both as well to everyone else. he washed dishes as you dried them, but something about vernon doing dishes in a basic t shirt with his hair down was doing something to you. you stared at him with your pupils dilated as he looked at you with his brown eyes. at this point vernon probably wss scrubbing the same spot 50 times but that was the least of his priorities
âvernon ah, yns looking at you with love and youre looking at her as if she crashed your carâ hoshi joked making you and vernon look away
quick to defend him you spoke up
âwhat do you mean? he was looking at me with love?â
âthat isnt love, thats him turning you into stoneâ scoups laughed
âi swear you guys have to be able to see the expression on his faceâ
looking around you see no one siding with you
âis vernon gaslighting you?â jeonghan questioned
looking back over at vernon, he was already staring at you just as confused, he shrugged his shoulders and you both continued washing the dishes.
-
WHEN HES VULNERABLE
âi dont get it, why cant they see the emotions on your face like i do?â you complained slightly annoyed as you laid on his chest
vernon hummed as his fingers ran through your hair. âi dunno
but i kinda like itâ
âyou do?â
âyeahâ he replied simply
âit reminds me that youre special to me, that we have a special relationship. youre the only one who can read my emotions, the others cant and dont understand me like you do.
they dont know about us,
i like that its your special superpower
i dont want them to be able to read me like you can
just a me and you thingâ
as you listened to his words you looked up at him and could see it in his face that he meant every word. how he cherished each special interaction you both had that no one else understood. because he liked being different, he liked how no one could get him, but he liked it even more how you were the only one who could
so maybe his friends cant read his emotions on his face and maybe they find him weird , but you can and dont
and thats all that matters to him

Caught In The Fluff - Angel Dust X Reader
Its time to write for the hot spider now. Enjoy Everyone!
It was a slow day in hotel today. Compared to the ongoing chaos that usually happens with either fights or Sir Pentious blowing up a portion of the building with his inventions, it was a normal chill day. Laying on the couch in the lobby, your eyes roamed around the room and gazed at the other residents, as staring at your cell phone was not aiding with your boredom. Charlie and Vaggie happened to be constructing more advertisements for the hotel, as the table was covered with glitter and colorful stickers, yep this was definitely all Charlie's idea, but watching her and Vaggie being couple goals was wholesome. Husk was shuffling a bunch of cards in his hands, wearing a smile for once while Niffty was watching him in awe, eye sparkling with amazement. Alastor resided in the chair next to yours, humming a catchy tune as his focus was drawn to the newspaper in his hands. Sir Pentious was in the corner of his room, assembling a puzzle as his Egg Bois were watching and helping him look for the proper pieces. After scanning the room a bit more, there was a lack of a porn-star demon in the room. Odd? Usually Angel would be flamboyantly chatting away, which caused many eyes to roll at his antics, well, mostly Vaggie and Husk. Slowly rising from the couch, you waved your hand in front of the two females in front of you, hoping to draw their attention. "Yes, Y/N? Is something wrong?" Charlie said, looking up at you with a bright smile, while her hair was covered in pink glitter and some traces of crayons on her red-dotted cheeks. "Sorry for bothering you while working on your project, but have you seen Angel since this morning?" Worried eyes stared at Charlies as you saw her smile fall and she shook her head no. Vaggie, on the other hand, was quick to answer your question, clear frustration on her face. "That estĂșpido is probably still sleeping the day away in his room! UGH! You think he get off his lazy a** and help around a bit!" Vaggie blared out, drawing the attention of the others in the lobby before continuing with their activities.
A cough was heard next to you, as Alastor had folded the newspaper on his lap, before looking at the three of us. "Now my dear Vaggie! While I don't approve of many of Angel's antics! He does work for another employer! So while he may not be pitching in with this ridiculous redemption process! He certainly has his hands full with other business!" Wow, you weren't expecting Alastor to defend Angel a bit. Maybe he does care about the others a bit, despite his enormous ego. Vaggie's eyes glared with rage at Alastor, probably for jumping into the conversation when nobody asked for his opinion, but she relaxed once she felt a soft hand touch her shoulder. Thinking more about it, you remembered that Angel had to work for the gross moth guy, Valentino. That man was so creepy and his actions towards Angel made you sick to your stomach. Honestly if you were as strong as Alastor, that man's head would be mounted on the wall. But, Angel has been in his room since 8 AM. He didn't even have breakfast. "I'll go bring him some food and check on him" You announced, as you got up from the couch and started to head to the kitchen. The sounds of tap shoes appeared from behind you, as you turned and realized Alastor was following behind you! "AH! I will help you my dear!" His smile was outstretched across his face, while he walked with a slight jump in his step and hands folded behind his back. Smiling back at Al, you both headed to the kitchen to make something for Angel.
Angel was Italian from what you recalled during one of your conversations as he was ranting about a client and calling them multiple Italian curse words. Deciding on an Italian dish for him, both you and Alastor agreed to make some Penne Alla Vodka. Alastor was helping with the vodka sauce, adding in the tomato paste and crushed pepper flakes while you were cooking the pasta to al dente. Gazing at the pasta cooking, your thoughts wondered back to what Al said in the lobby. "Um, Alastor?" You asked, while your hands kept stirring the pasta in the pot. Alastor was humming a tune, before he stopped and gazed at you, listening to what you had to say. "Thanks for what you said back there about Angel." Softly gazing at him, Al continued to stare at you, his signature smile dropping down to a soft one. "He is a valuable patron of this establishment! While I don't really care much about him and the others, I prefer him more when he is in a jovial mood then a depressed one!" Alastor answered with an aloff attitude, yet you could see in his red eyes that he somewhat cared about Angel, despite his strong dislike of him always attempting to get touchy with him. Focusing more on Al and leaving the pasta for a minute to continue boiling, your feet carried you over to where Alastor stood. "I assume you say you don't care because of your reputation, yet here you are cooking a meal for Angel Dust with me. Seems like your actions contradict your words Alastor." Silence filled the kitchen as both you and Alastor were having a stare-off, wondering which one would speak first. Crimson eyes gazed into yours, as they glanced down back to the cooking sauce.
Maybe you overstepped it a bit. Stepping back from your position, you eyed the pasta pot that you left unattended. A warm hand had caught your wrist before you could leave, and you turned to see Alastor gazing at you, smile still prominent yet his eyes were stern. "Angel my dear, is under contract with one of the three V's, Valentino! I don't know or care about how he conducts his business! However! His actions towards Angel are something I do not particularly enjoy! While watching the scum of hell suffer through torment and despair is quite enjoyable. Seeing Angel suffering from that pÌžÌÍÍÌši̶ÌÌÌŒÍgÌ”ÌÌÌą ÌŽÌÍÌÍÍmÌ”ÌÌÌÌo̶ÌÍÍÌ»ÍtÌ”ÍÌÍÌŁhÌžÍÌŁÌ± Ì·ÌÍÌ«Ì°oÌ”ÌÍÌČÌÍuÌ·Ì̧ÌÍ
tÌžÌÍÌŠÌÌr̶ÍÌŻaÌŽÍÌœÌgÌ”ÌÌÌŸÌ©eÌŽÌÌÍÌȘsÌŽÌÍÍÍ Ì·ÍÌÌÌŹÌŁmÌžÍÌŠÌÌ„eÌ·ÌÍ!â Radio dials flickered on Alastors face for a split second, then turning back to normal . Observing all of this through your eyes, you apologized to Al if you spoke out of turn, but your apology was cut off when the hand on your wrist made its way to your cheek. Alastor said there was no need for apologies, and gestured back to cooking the meal, as burnt pasta wouldn't be very appetizing for Angel. The both of you stood back at your pasta creation, feeling proud that it looked incredible. With a snap of his fingers, the plate was then transported on a tray and topped with a metal cover. Alastor picked up the tray and handed it to you. "Run along now my dear!" Two hands were placed on your back, as they pushed you out of the kitchen, and leaving you alone with the tray in your hands.
Heading over to Angel's room, you knocked on the door and called out his name. No response was given back, so you tried to open the door. Surprisingly the door was unlocked and you made your way inside. Angel's room was shrouded in a neon pink glow. Numerous posters covered the walls, and various clothes and wigs were scattered all over the room. His room smelled like sweet cotton candy along with smoke that was coming from the ash tray. In the corner of the room was Fat Nuggets, Angels pet pig. It was sleeping on its back, while covered in a soft pink blanket. Next to the small bed was the large queen sized bed that a certain spider was laying on. The blanket was half off the bed, leaving some part of Angels legs uncovered while his back was facing you. Placing the tray near the nightstand, you slowly approached Angel and placed your hand on his shoulder. Calling out his name and giving him a little shake had no effect on him as he continued to sleep. "Angel? Come on. Wake up. Me and Al made you some food." Angel still remained asleep. "Angel. The food will get co-" Your words were interrupted as four pairs of arms grabbed you and pulled you closer. Your face landed in something fluffy, as you realized that Angel had pulled you into his fluffy chest, and his legs began to wrap around you, locking you in place. "Mmph! Angel!" Calling out his name, you tried to remove yourself from the fluffiness, but Angels arms were holding you in place. "Oh~! Do it harder!" Angel was sleep talking, as he squeezed you tighter like a plushie. Great! He's hugging you while having a dirty dream. Wiggling a bit more, you realized that Angel wasn't wearing a shirt. Oh lord! Please tell me hes wearing pants at least. Luckily you looked down and saw that he was thankfully wearing underwear. You couldn't imagine the awkward situation if he was fully naked and hugging you like this.
Trying to move one of your hands, you resorted to poking Angel's belly, seeing if that would be able to wake him up. Angel soon let out a groan and began to slowly wake up. "Ughhhh. Huh?" Angel was slowly beginning to realize he was holding someone. Looking down, he saw you wrapped in his arms, face full of his chest fluff. "Heh~ Heya toots~. Were ya that desperate for my services~?" Angel wiggled his eyebrows at you, as he continued to smirk at you. Moving your head a bit from the fluff, you shook your head no. "I came to see if you were okay? You have been sleeping since the morning and missed breakfast. The others and me were worried. Alastor and I also made you some pasta to eat." Angel's smirk quickly disappeared and he looked at you in shock, before gazing at the clock on the wall, which read 2:34 PM. Damn he slept for that long? Figures after all the services he had to perform at Valentino's club. His body was tired out and his mental state deteriorated a lot yesterday. He was honestly surprised that the others actually gave a f*** about him, and wanted to see how he was doing. He ain't use to all that mushy s***. Still it warmed his heart a bit. Heaving a sigh, Angel slowly released you, allowing you to moved and stand back up next to the bed. The blanket was still covering his lower body as he began to sit up on the bed. "Had a busy day last night toots. Lot of pole dancing and what not." Angel moved his hair fluff with his hands, attempting to soothe the hairs that were out of place. He was still smiling, but the sadness in his eyes was visible. He was exhausted beyond belief and you knew who was to blame for that. Moving your hand towards him, you placed it on his cheek, startling him a bit as he stared at you confused. "Are you really okay?" Your voiced was laced with concern, as you continued to stare at Angel, waiting for him to respond. "Pfft! I'm fine toots! Doing all that dirty stuff is no problem for me given my amazing stamina~. Hell! I could last a whole day and wouldn't break a sweat! HAHAHAHA!" He was putting on an act. You could tell based on how he was smiling that he was forcing it. "Angel. Don't lie to me." Your voice raised a bit higher, letting Angel know you were being serious. Angel caught on to that and removed your hand from his cheek. "What the f*** is your problem, toots? I told ya I'm fine so deal with it." His face turned away from you, as he waved his hands at you, telling you to piss off. That was the last straw.
Grabbing both of his cheeks, you pulled his face to look back at yours, as his eyes were filled with shock. "YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY NOT FINE! STOP LYING TO ME AND TELL ME THE WHOLE TRUTH! Anger filled your eyes as you continued to stare into Angels own. His multicolored irises continued to gaze at you, as his mouth was left agape. Slowly, those eyes staring back at you began to fill with tears. Seeing his tears, you pulled Angel closer to you, and placed his head on your chest, hugging him close to you. His body moved off the bed, to where he was standing on his knees, and his arms wrapped around you tightly, almost as if you would disappear in front of him. He was bawling his eyes out on your chest. You hugged him closer and moved one of your hands to his hair, patting his white floof. The both of you stayed like that for a full 5 minutes before Angel's loud bawls slowly began to turn into soft sobs. Moving from his position, Angel moved his head a bit so he could look you in the eyes. "S-orry toots. I think I got your shirt wet." Chuckling, you patted his head and told him it was alright. Lifting him up from his position, you carried him back to sit on the bed. Grabbing the plate from under the tray, you walked back and sat on the bed and handed Angel the plate. "Its penne al vodka. I remembered that you liked Italian food so me and Al whipped this up for you. Wiping the tears on his face, Angel grabbed the plate and stared at it, before looking back at you with a soft smile. "Heh, if Smiles and you made this together, its going to taste incredible." You continued to watch Angel as he slowly began to eat the pasta, mumbling how good it was with his mouth full. Once he finished, you grabbed the plate and placed it back on the night stand, and returned back to Angel. Grabbing a napkin as well, you cleaned his mouth to help remove the extra sauce that remained there. Angel's face actually turned a shade of red at your actions. Damn, how sweet can you be?
"You feeling a bit better? Want to head down to the lobby?" You asked Angel, as you stood in front of him, smiling kindly at him. His eyes turned to the ceiling in thought, contemplating it. "Hmmm~ Nah~!" Angels arms surrounded you again, as he pulled you back towards him. His back hit the bed while his head was cushioned by the soft pillows while you were placed on top of him, right back into his chest fluff. "What?! Angel?!" Mumbling into this chest floof, you tried to push yourself off, but his arms had you trapped again, and he tangled his legs with yours. His eyes were gazing at with mischievously, and his sharp-tooth smile was in front of your eyes. "Come on, toots. Ya never had a lazy day before? Ain't against the law to sleep all day." Angel squeezed you closer, pushing your face more into his chest fluff. My lord, he was so soft! Not only was he soft, but he smelled amazing. You were going to get addicted to this. Seeing you stop resisting, Angel continued to smile down at you, as he moved one of his arms to pat your head. "Ya should consider yourself lucky! Not everyone gets to experience my chest fluff service~. Ya should enjoy it while it last toots~." Winking down at you, Angel continued to smiled down at you, as you felt your face heat up while laying on his chest. You continued to stare at him, and saw that he actually looked a lot better, as his eyes were a bit brighter and the smile on his face seemed more genuine. Your eyes were slowly beginning to close as the sensation of Angel patting your head and his cozy fluff was making you sleepy. Pretty soon, your eyes drew to a close and you fell into a deep slumber. Angel watched as you had fallen asleep, before bending his head down, to give you a peck on the forehead, before placing his head back on the pillow. "Thanks, y/n." He whispered to himself, as he squeezed you a bit more, and went back to sleep.
Peeping through the crack in the door, Charlie and the others had seen the whole thing. Charlie was hopping up and down, like a rabbit as her eyes were beaming with heart eyes. "Ohh! They are so cute!" Vaggie was shaking Charlie to try to get her to calm down, and also to lower her voice, so she wouldn't wake the both of you up. Husk was leaning against the wall with his arms crossed, appearing not to care, but he did smile a bit at both you and Angel on the bed. Niffty was zipping back in forth in glee, matching Charlies energy. Sir Pentious was gazing at the both of you with a soft smile, while his Egg Bois were crying, finding the moment in front of them super sweet and adorable. Alastor was standing with his microphone in hand, smiling as always as he observed both you and Angel. Snapping his fingers, his powers had slowly closed Angels door and locked it. Looking back at the others, he placed his one finger against his mouth, letting out a quiet shush as he gestured for everyone to go back to the lobby and let the both of you rest.

dad!james not being able to contain himself around reader and just kisses her 24/7 heâs always trying to press a kiss against her lips or cheeks and maybe henryâs picked up on it too so he starts kissing readers cheeks every time heâs close
Dad!James Potter x Bsf!Reader ⌠817 words
i changed it a tad but hope this still works!
After sleeping with James, a sickening worry had settled inâyou feared things might become awkward, or worse, that heâd want to slow things down to avoid confusing Henry. You understood completely, knowing how important it was to keep everything stable for his son. But after wanting James for so long, feeling his hands all over you and the heat of his kisses. The idea of returning to the way things were felt almost unbearable.
âStrawberries or blueberries?â Holding up a container as you say their name, you stand at the table in front of Henry, who looks terribly sleepy but still flickers his eyes back and forth as he weighs his options. His waffles sit before him with a dollop of cream slowly melting from the warmth.
Nerves swirl in your stomach at the thought of seeing James, but you try to push them down. Waking up before him, you decided to make breakfast, hoping the simple task might help dodge any awkward conversations. Itâs a desperate attempt to keep things normal, a way to distract yourself from the uncertainty of what might happen once he walks into the kitchen.
âBoth.â Henry finally affirms, giving a confident nod that makes his messy curls bounce. All he needs is a pair of glasses, and he'd be a miniature version of Jamesânot that he isnât already.
You sprinkle both types of berries over Henryâs waffles, his little hands directing you to add just a few more each time you try to pull away. As you remind him to eat what he has first and that he can always have seconds later, youâre so focused on him that you donât notice James entering the kitchen.
As you turn to place the berries on the counter, you startle at the sight of James standing in front of the coffee maker in nothing but plaid pajama pants. Your gaze instinctively trails down his chest, and when you look up again with a nervous swallow, you find him watching you with a knowing smirk.
âMorning, darling.â
You offer him a soft smile and murmur a quiet âgood morning.â To your surprise, he strides directly toward you. When you instinctively take a step back, a puzzled frown crosses his face. Without missing a beat, he wraps an arm around your waist, pulling you in and pressing you against his chest.
You let out a surprised gasp and glance over your shoulder at Henry, who watches the scene intently as he takes a bite of his waffles. A hint of purple stains the corners of his mouth.
âHeâs watching us, Jamie.â You whisper, casting a warning glance. James looks between you and his son, his expression one of confusion.
âIs that a problem?â He asks, his voice calm.
âWell, Iââ You begin, but the words falter as James presses a slow, tender kiss to your cheek. His lips curl into a teasing smile as he pulls back and watches you struggle to gather your thoughts.
âWhat, baby?â He teases, his voice a soft murmur against your ear.
âI didnât think youâd want to act like this in front of him.â You reply, your voice barely above a whisper.
âLike what?â He asks, his tone curious as he holds you close.
âA couple.â You clarify, feeling the weight of your words.
James raises an eyebrow, a playful glint in his eyes. âAre we not?â He questions, his voice laced with a hint of amusement.
âWe didnât really talk much about that last night.â You admit, your voice faltering slightly as you struggle to find the right words.
âYouâre right. We didnât,â he agrees, his hand gently cupping the side of your cheek. A smug glint dances in his eyes as he leans in, his warm breath mingling with yours before his lips meet yours in a soft, lingering kiss. The touch is tender, as if he canât get enough, his lips moving slowly against yours, drawing you deeper into his arms. As he pulls away just enough to look at you, a playful, yet affectionate smile tugs at his lips. âI just sort of assumed you were mine after last night.â
Youâre flustered, staring up at James with wide eyes. He smiles down at you, brushing his thumb over your cheek as you roll your lips together to hide your smile.
âWhy does Daddy get kisses?â Henry squeaks out, his words tumbling over each other. âI want kisses from darling too!â
James laughs, giving you another quick kiss before letting you go and heading towards Henry. He scoops his son up, showering him with kisses all over his face. Henry bursts into laughter, his giggles punctuated by playful sputters as he repeats that he wanted kisses from you. You stand in the kitchen, your fingers lightly tracing your lips as you watch the sweet exchange between them, a smile tugging at the corners of your mouth.

horny kitchen [not hell's this time].
SUMMARY: whenever you were home, he wasnât. it wasnât totally your fault if that had made you believe he was never home in the first place, but it sure had lead into an interesting meeting.
WC: 1.7k
CW: crack! felix and olivia as cupids (i love them), mentions of alcohol, mentions of the movie After: Ever Happy, slight Changlix showing up, drunken courage, nsfw! marking, dry humping.
REQUESTED! by annonie right here. i had fun, tysm, pookie!
[âđčđïžđčâ]
âTell me you were kidding.â
You stared at Felixâs puzzled face, his hands on your shoulders, and Olivia passed her hands through her hair as she leaned against your roomâs door, shutting it close.
âWhatâ why would I lie?â You frowned, smiling in confussion. âI wasnât kidding. Weâve just never really talked, and I only know one or two things about him.â You repeated, and watched as your friends both made the same exhasperated grin, and then shared a look that only them, brother and sister, were able to decipher.
âYour roomate, whoâs basically famous in our college, who looks likeâ like that,â Olivia stated, stumbling on her words. âAnd you havenât had a normal chat? Not even about the weather?â
You shrugged. âNot that I remember, no. He doesnât look like heâs a fan of small talk.â
They had both stared at you with wide eyes when you opened the door and the figure of a tall man with short hair surprised you at the other side.
âOh, right,â you had smiled, turning to introduce him to your friends. âHeâs my roomate, Hyunjin. I texted you a while back to check if they could come over, remember?â You said softly at him, and he smiled, nodding.
âRight, yeah. Sorry that I canât stay, I have someone waiting for me downstairs. It was nice to meet you.â He had greeted, as politely as he had smiled, and rushed to catch the elevator again.
And that had been it.
âGod, he looks like a model.â Felix sighed as he took his jacket off, blinking slowly, as if trying to comprehend what he had seen. âHe looks like he travels to Italy and France during fashion week. What the fuck, he looks like he knows when fashion week is.â
âHeâs like a hundred times better than the last guy you dated,â Olivia chimed back, and you frowned at the mention of your ex. âDonât look at me like that. Babe, tell me that at least you find him attractive.â
âSure. Heâs good looking.â Felix deadpanned at you, and you huffed. âOkay, fine! Heâs really hot, yeah, I have eyes, you know?â
Olivia and Felix snickered, and you pouted, snickering too, grabbing a pillow from your bed and yeeting it at him.
âI didnât come here to see you drool over Hyunjin, guys. Itâs bad movie Sunday, and we have to watch After 4. I need this to finish soon.â You giggled cheekily.
âIâll go get the shots!â Olivia smiled with enthusiasm as she went to grab three shot glasses and a bottle of cheap wine you kept.
âI thought we were gonna watch Twilight?â You saw Felix smile, taking his shoes of as he sat on the bed.
He rolled his eyes in amusment, faking pettiness while you turned on the computer and looked for the movie.
âLiv likes the saga, we canât.â You chuckled. âMaybe she starts crying when Cedric Diggory starts pouring glitter over his face or something.â
âHave I heard disrespect against Robbert Pattinson?!â She yelled from the kitchen, and you two cackled loudly.
You settled your laptop on your desk and used your chair as a table to keep the glasses and wine on.
âShot rules?â Olivia pondered, taking her shoes off and getting comfortable, much like Felix, who was stealing all the pillows and cushions and settling them behind his back.
âSeungmin said that a shot for every red flag was fine.â You shrugged.
âSeungmin watched After?â Olivia wondered in slight shock.
âOf course, he loves to complain about anything.â You mocked slyly. âBut you guys arenât driving back, right?â
Felix handled the movie blanket, hiding everything except his eyes and his nose under it.
âBin has to drive this way to get home from the studio. He said he could take us.â
You smiled.
âLetâs get this over with,â Olivia chimed with a snicker.
[âđčđïžđčâ]
Tipsy could be an understatement. That, you had to admit. But only to yourself, because to your drunk mind, getting to that level of drunkness âjust because of the walking red flag the love interest in the movie wasâ seemed a little lame on your side.
ââm ok, livvie,â you smiled at Olivia and her skeptical look. âI wonât even drive.â
Changbin huffed in amusement, passing one of Felixâs arms over his shoulders as the very much freckled very much drunk man started pouting his lips.
âi wanâ kis, binnâŠâ he blabbered messily.
âWhy did we do a drinking game,â his sister mumbled, rubbing her eyes, clearly showing much more control on downing wine shots.
âHarvey burned his momâs house! I mean, we clearly had to drink twice because of that.â Felix said in a hiccup, then clung back to Changbin.
You messily bid goodbye to the Lee brothers and the poor designated driver that carried Felix with Lixâs arm over his shoulder, closed the door and waddled back to your room.
The main issue movies like After had âaside from its preposterous attempt at trying to take itself seriouslyâ was the copious amount of long and dull sex scenes.
Well. They seemed âdullâ when you were sober.
But the thought of them brought naughty ideas to your just-a-bit-willy-nilly-tipsy body.
As if someone had been there staring at you, sitting in a dim-lit corner of your room, not bothering if it was late at night or if your door was wide open, your hands trailed down to the zip of your jeans, and you bit your lip, drunkily teasing yourself, lowering the fabric slowly down your hips, and letting it plop down on the floor with a soft thud.
The idea had been to take a step back and kick the clothing away, but you accidentally hit one of your bedâs legs, and cursed loudly, half because of the weirded out drunkness who had forgot that was there in the first place, but you shook it off, not actually in pain.
You shook your head, and continued with the frenzy, enticingly tickling your sides when reaching for your shirt and slowly took it off, letting it down next to your pants, as if leaving a happy trail that headed to your closet, one you opened and took an oversized shirt you usually wore to bed.
But sleeping with a bra on was not the smartest move. The clip started stining and the tag on its side started itching, so with a quick snap and a perky throw, you giggled, still a bit drunk, but starting to turn sober enough to start craving water.
You passed your oversized shirt over your head, turning to face your door when the long fabric covered your body.
Covered from a surprised and flustered pair of dark brown eyes, iris so dark that his pupils, blown out and enticing, almost devoured it whole.
âHyunâŠjin?â
His hair was the messiest you had ever seen from him, dressed in his pjâs, some old blue squared-pattered pants that he got gifted a couple of Christmas ago. Solely the pants.
The waistband of his underwear, brand name staring at you like a deer in headlights. And even so, it wasnât as intense as how that teasing little mole on his tummy.
Mmh. You wanted to kiss it.
âAh⊠I uhâŠâ he mumbled, messily so, enough for you to notice.
âOh. Yâre drunk too.â
He smiled wryly, nodding.
It was a bit blank, how you two ended up in the kitchen. Your brain fuzzy, enjoying the alcohol that lingered in your system. Dazed, you feel two warm hands on your waist, and how they turn you around and sit you on the counter.
âYâknow?â Hyunjin smirks, and you notice you could almost taste the drinks he had taken from how close he was. âItâs sâweird how we never⊠uh⊠talk, mmh.â
Your breath hitches, his hands not leaving your waist, stroking and teasingly caressing underneath your shirt, that had ridden up from when you sat.
âTalk?â You mumble giddily.
âYeah. Itâs stupid. How can I live with someone so hot and barely say good morning?â
The way he states the sentence, as if it was something as factual and axiomatical as one plus one, baffles you almost as fast as the speed your cheeks turn red.
He snickers, watching you turn to putty in his hands. âI heard moans when I arrived.â The stupid movie. âFor a moment, I thought it was you and it made me wild.â
Hyunjin leans his forehead against yours, his lips barely an inch away from temptation. You.
Cheekily, he moves even closer to the counter, until heâs slotted between your legs. He slides you over the counter, pressing you against him.
âHyuneâŠâ
Itâs a mumble, its slurred, and he drinks it up like heâs been thirsty for days. Neither of you are too sure of whatâs happening, but itâs easy to say neither of you care enough about that now when his lips find yours.
Like he said, wild. You canât be sure if itâs the moonlight that hits him from the kitchenâs window of the alcohol that gives him such freedom to kiss you in a way that, for a second, you feel like heâs going to eat you alive.
But heâs got it clear. He needs you, heâs been waiting for the moment you two would finally speak like human beings and stop behaving like robots who share comparments, barely addressing the other. Heâs sick and tired of it, tired of waiting, and sick, because heâs been craving you for what seems like weeks, even months, and Hyunjin knows he canât hold back any longer.
Youâre both drunk, and maybe you shouldnât, but how could he stop when you drop from the counter and his thigh fits perfectly between your legs? How could he stop, when he wants nothing but to tore your shirt to shreds and mark as much skin as he can see? How could he stop, when heâs been waiting for so long to let go?
âA-ah, HyunâŠâ
And heâs gone. One little whimper from you, and he knows that one thingâs for sure.
Heâs not stopping until you come for him for the night.
Besides. Thereâs plenty other nights to keep having more fun.

lucky-bucky-boy has a really good smutty one shot about being undercover with Bucky
"Undercovers"
Warnings- SMUT! Friends to lovers? -------------------------------------------
The air in the fancy casino, was thick with cologne and desperation. Bucky, ever the picture of charm and sophistication, in a well-tailored black suit, leaned closer to you, his voice a low rumble. âEnjoying the high life, doll face?â
You batted your eyelashes, channelling your inner actor. âOnly because you're here, handsome.â
It was all part of the act. You and Bucky, have been working together for about two years. It had been a normal mission so far. Until you two were told, that you had to pose as lovers for the upcoming mission. You both were calm about it.
Flirting with Bucky was the easy part, as you two were close friends. A playful banter was a natural extension of your friendship.
Mr and Mrs. Stan, socialite couple with a penchant for gambling and questionable art collections. In reality, you and Bucky were after a stolen prototype weapon, rumored to be changing hands tonight.
Tonight, it was amplified, a performance for any potential buyers lurking around. You exchanged playful swats, whispered secrets, and Bucky even âaccidentallyâ brushed his hand against yours, sending a delicious shiver down your spine. All for the mission, of course you thoughtâŠso did Bucky. Right?
Hours bled into each other, a blur of clinking glasses, fabricated interest in dubious paintings, and a well-timed âwinâ at the roulette table.
As Bucky went, to get drinks for you and him, some guy came over and started to talk with you. âHey beautiful, what's your name?â The man asked, trying to flirt with you, Bucky was quick by your side, gripping your arm firmly, glaring at the man. âLeave her alone.â Bucky said through clenched teeth, his tone dripping with warning, the man seemed puzzled by his response.
âWhat's it to ya? Can't a man flirt with a beautiful woman?â The man retorted. Bucky let out a small murmur of annoyance, as he gripped your arm tighter and glared at the man again. âNo, you can't.â Bucky said, he still couldn't believe that he was being this possessive over you, he had no right. Right? He couldn't stop the burning jealousy that was building in him.
âAnd I don't like someone touching or flirting with my fiancĂ©e! Get away, you understand?â Bucky said, and the man seemed to see the warning in his eyes this time, and finally nodded and started to walk away. The air crackled with nervous electricity and something else entirely.
Maybe it was the wine, or the sequined cocktail dress that felt like a second skin (and three sizes too small), but your stomach was doing loop-the-loops.
The possessive nature of Bucky was a major turn on for you. Your panties, were in a twist.
The night was a blur of champagne flutes, caviar canapĂ©s, and Bucky's expertly delivered charm. You danced close, your bodies brushing, sending shivers down each otherâs spine. The playful flirting, you both usually reserved for sparring sessions, took on a whole new meaning under the chandeliers.
âYou know...â Bucky murmured, his breath warm against your ear as you both waltzed, âthis whole fiancĂ© thing feels surprisingly believable.â
You scoffed, but blush heated your cheeks. âMaybe a little too believable, âStanâ.â
Soon, Valentina Fontaine the target began to approach you and Bucky.
âYou ready, doll?â Bucky drawled, the black fabric straining across his broad shoulders. A playful glint danced in his steel-blue eyes. âAs ready as I'll ever be, handsomeâŠâ you retorted, trying to project confidence.
Valentina was flirting heavily with Bucky, which made you see red. You wonder, if this is, how he felt before? She was ignoring you completely, and you had enough of her touching Bucky, who was highly uncomfortable.
You excused yourself and weaved through the throng, brushing against a waiter carrying a tray of champagne flutes. One âaccidentallyâ spilling on Valentina, as her guards rushed to clean her up, Bucky like a gentleman held her purse, making you roll your eyes, as he swiftly took the key from it.
Finally, your chance arrived. Valentina, took a bathroom break. Bucky, ever the smooth operator, distracted her bodyguards, while you slipped into her private dressing room. Jackpot. A hidden compartment in her vanity revealed a flash drive with incriminating data.
Back in your hotel room, adrenaline buzzed through your veins. Relief warred with a newfound tension. You'd gotten the intel, but the night wasn't over. Here, alone in this opulent cage, the charade started to unravel.
Bucky poured drinks for you and him, his gaze lingering on you. âGood job tonight...â he said, his voice rough.
A teasing smile played on your lips. âAlways the charmer, Barnes.â But the compliment hung heavy in the air. You both circled each other, the playful dance taking on a new edge.
âSoâŠany reason, you made the waiter spill champagne on Valentina?â Bucky asks with a mischievous smirk. âAny reason, you were possessive, when the guy was flirting with me?â you teased him back.
âI was looking after my future wifeâŠâ âI was looking after my future husbandâŠâ
âWell, partner,â you say, with a playful smile, tossing the stolen flash drive to Bucky, who catches it with a wink. âMission accomplished.â
Bucky's eyes narrowed. âIndeed. Now, about that fiancĂ© thingâŠâ
He pulled you close, the suit jacket falling away to reveal the familiar worn t-shirt he wore beneath. Laughter escaped your lips as he dipped you a playful bow.
âCare to take it one step further, doll?â
One step closer, and his hand was on your cheek, his thumb tracing a soft path over your lips. âThis,â he murmured, his voice husky, âthis feels a little too real, doesn't it?â
And it did. The line between mission and something more had blurred. Your breath hitched. âMaybe it should...â you whispered before kissing him.
It started as a release; a surge of emotions bottled up for too long. But the kiss ignited something deeper, a fire fuelled by unspoken feelings and the thrill of the night. Clothes fell away, replaced by a desperate urgency.
As soon as your back was pressed against the bed, Bucky lost all self-control.
A growl emitted from his throat, low and rumbling against your mouth. The kiss was hard, a battle of tongues for dominance. An aggressive kiss, making you moan and Buckyâs cock to twitch mindlessly against your tummy.
Bucky pulls back, looking at you. He gently traces his finger over your face. âMineâŠâ He leans down and brushes his lips against yours, kissing you deeply.
You deepen the kiss, your hands gently sliding down his butt. He slides his hands down your back, his fingers lightly brushing against your butt, kneading them. His kiss becomes hungry, almost desperate, as if he wants as much of you, as he can get.
âYou drive me crazy, doll face...â he murmurs against your skin. He leans back down and deepens his kiss, his touch more insistent, his hands sliding over your body. Bucky kisses along your collarbone, down towards your chest, his lips finding the sensitive skin between your breasts. His breath is warm against you, as he lets one of his hands wander lower, his fingertips lightly brushing between your legs.
His lips find the spot on your neck and you moan softly. His fingers find the spot in your cunt. You gasp and moan, your hands slide along Bucky's sides up to his hair, tangling in them.
âI'm gonna take good care of you, doll.â Bucky murmurs against your neck, as he kisses along your collarbone again, nipping and sucking until he's sure he's left a mark.
His hands took your breasts between his palms, kneading them, worshipping them. He took one of the hardened nipples between his lips, sucking it with a deep moan. âBuâŠBuckyâ you gasped. He nuzzled his face against your breasts before pulling his mouth away, with an obscene pop.
You moan and gently roll your hips against him, the anticipation almost driving you over the edge. He pauses as his eyes move over you, drinking in the sight of you, his breathing is heavy. âYou're so beautiful...â he says, sliding a hand up your thigh to your hip and leaning down to kiss along your stomach, his warm lips moving slowly.
âBuckyâŠâ you moan, your hands tangling in the sheets again. His tongue starts to move slowly, teasingly over you. You pull your bottom lip between your teeth, trying to stifle your sounds as he slowly circles his tongue around your clit, teasing your button.
Bucky lets out a low moan against you, as he leans back, hooking his arms around your thighs, pulling you closer, as he lowers his head and his tongue finds your center again, moving slowly.
You let go of the sheets, as your hands grip his hair, your back arching in pleasure, as he drives you closer with his tongue. âBuckyâŠâ you gasp, your eyes closing as he brings you closer to the edge.
He can feel you're close, by the way your body tenses, the way your breathing changes. He moves his tongue faster, wanting to take you over the edge, pushing you closer and closer, until you let out a gasp and a shiver runs through you, as waves of pleasure wash over you.
Your body starts to slowly come down, your eyes opening. Bucky lifts his head, stroking your thighs, pressing little kisses to your abdomen, a smile curving the corners of his mouth.
He slides up, leaning down and kissing you slowly. You can taste yourself on his lips, as he kisses you deeply, gently rolling his hips against yours again.
You hook your legs around his waist, rolling your hips against his. You can feel his arousal and it makes you crave his touch. You pull him closer, deepening the kiss, your hands trailing down his back, your nails scratching him, as he keeps rolling his hips against yours.
He groans softly, the feel of you against him causing his breathing to get heavier. He pulls back from the kiss slightly. âI want you,â he almost whispers, kissing along your jaw.
You slide your hand between your bodies, caressing his hardened cock. âYou have me,â you say, leaning up and kissing his jaw before nuzzling along his neck. His breathing becomes heavier, as you find that sensitive spot on his neck and he gently moans your name.
You tilt your head back, as Bucky kisses along your neck again, the anticipation building. He gently presses you down on the bed, his hands pressing against your thighs, his lips trailing kisses up your stomach.
He lifts his head, looking down at you. His eyes are dark with need. He reaches down and gently teases you with his fingers, watching the way your lips part to let out a soft moan, your body shifting slightly at his touch.
Bucky gently withdraws his fingers. He leans down and kisses you, before shifting to settle between your legs. You wrap your legs around him, trying to pull him closer. Bucky kisses you deeply as he pushes into you, your pussy takes all of him in. His thick length stretched your walls.
His breath catching in his throat, at the feel of you wrapped around him. He bottoms out with a groan, before pulling back out again. His hips soon found a suitable pace. You break the kiss, breathing heavily, as he starts to move against you slowly, his forehead pressing against yours again, his arms around you, holding you close. Â
Bucky speeds up slightly, making your breathing hitch. He presses a little deeper and your nails slightly dig into his shoulders. âBuckyâ you whisper, as he hits deep in your cunt, making all your thoughts scatter.
He leans back, looking into your eyes, his name on your lips, fuelling his need, his pace increasing as he buries his face in your neck. You can feel him getting closer, his breathing heavier, your name escaping his lips in a groan. You're close, too.
âJust let go, dollâŠâ he whispers in your ear, his hips moving faster, his lips against yours. The words push you over the edge and you cry out his name, against his lips, as waves of pleasure wash over you. Bucky shudders, as he follows you over, holding you close to him.
You moaned into the kiss, as you came hard, âI'm... I'm gonna come...â he pants as he nears his climax. He spent himself inside you. Filling you up to the brim. He collapsed on top of you, catching his breath, burying his face in your neck.
You lay there for a while, panting, still wrapped in each other's arms. Bucky nuzzles into your neck, placing small kisses along your skin, making you shiver slightly.
He slowly rolls off of you and lays down beside you, his hand lightly caressing your side. You scoot closer into his side, your head resting on his chest as he wraps an arm around you, pulling you closer.
You close your eyes, as you feel his hand run idly up and down your back. You both lay there in a comfortable silence for a while. The line between playful banter and genuine affection blurred, leaving you and Bucky tangled in the sheets, the mission a distant afterthought. As dawn painted the sky a fiery orange, Bucky held you close, a ghost of a smile playing on his lips.
âMaybe we should practice this fiancĂ© thing more often,â he murmured, his voice husky with sleep. You chuckled, tracing a finger across his metal arm. âJust between us, Barnes? I wouldn't mind.â
My pervert brain had to write about this.

Iâd love to see dad Spencer finding out his teen daughter has a boyfriend and reader is just like âthis is normal babeâ and heâs just so that dad who doesnât want his little girl to grow up
Spencer wasnât sure when it had happened. One day, his daughter Eliza was running around the backyard, obsessed with dinosaurs and space, and the next, she was texting non-stop, staying up late on the phone, and hanging out with friends. She was growing up fastâtoo fast for his likingâand now, at sixteen, sheâd hit him with something he was entirely unprepared for.
âSo...I have a boyfriend,â Eliza said casually, looking down at her phone while sitting at the kitchen table.
Spencer nearly dropped his mug of coffee.
âWhat?â His voice came out sharper than he intended, and Elizaâs head snapped up to meet his wide-eyed stare. She bit her lip nervously, but her expression was mostly amused, like she had expected this kind of reaction.
âI said, I have a boyfriend, Dad,â she repeated, more slowly, as if that might make the shock easier to absorb. âHis nameâs Ethan, weâve been texting for a couple weeks and...weâre going to a movie this weekend.â
Spencer felt like the ground had shifted beneath him. A boyfriend? His little girl had a boyfriend? This wasnât supposed to happen, not yet. Not ever, if he had his way.
You, standing by the stove and flipping pancakes, glanced over at the scene unfolding. You were smiling softly, clearly not surprised by Elizaâs news, and you gave Spencer a knowing look as he struggled to find words.
Spencer had noticed the changes, of course. How could he not? Over the last few weeks, Eliza had been giggling at her phone more than usual, texting away with a grin that made him wonder what was so funny. Sheâd been asking to stay out an extra thirty minutes before he picked her up from her friend's house, her voice casual but always a little too hopeful. And then there was the way she was suddenly excited to go to schoolâsomething that used to take a lot more convincing, especially for early mornings.
But Spencer had brushed it off at the time, chalking it up to normal teenage behavior. Maybe she was just hanging out with her friends more. Maybe her classes had gotten more interesting. He hadnât connected the dots.
Now, as she casually mentioned having a boyfriend, it hit him like a freight train.
He should have paid more attention.
He stood there, still holding his coffee, realizing that all those little signs had been pointing to this moment. The giggling, the extra time with her friends, the sudden enthusiasm for schoolâit all made sense now. Ethan.
âEliza, when exactly did this start?â Spencer asked, trying to sound calm but knowing he wasnât pulling it off.
Eliza shrugged, still scrolling through her phone. âA few weeks ago. Itâs not that serious, Dad.â
Not that serious? His daughter had a boyfriend, and she was acting like it was just another Tuesday.
Spencer opened his mouth to respond, but you gave him a gentle nudge before he could start spiraling again. Youâd been watching the whole thing unfold, a soft smile on your face as you watched your husband try to process this new chapter of parenthood.
âSpence,â you said gently, catching his attention, âitâs normal, you know.â
âNormal?â Spencer repeated, his voice incredulous as he turned to you. âOur daughterâour little girlâhas a boyfriend, and thatâs normal?â
You laughed softly, walking over to him and resting a hand on his arm. âYes, itâs normal, babe. Sheâs a teenager. This was bound to happen at some point.â
âI wasnât ready for this,â he mumbled, still staring at Eliza like she had just told him she was moving to another country. He thought back to all those little moments he hadnât fully paid attention toâthe way sheâd been giggling at her phone, how she always seemed to be in a good mood after school. The puzzle pieces were coming together now.
Eliza, for her part, rolled her eyes but smiled, clearly amused by her dadâs overreaction. âDad, relax. Itâs not a big deal. Ethanâs nice.â
Spencer opened his mouth, but all that came out was a strangled, âNice?â
You squeezed his arm reassuringly. âWhy donât you meet him before jumping to any conclusions?â
Spencer was already shaking his head. âI donât need to meet him. I know boys his age and they-"
âSpence,â you interrupted, shooting him a look. âElizaâs smart. Sheâll be fine. And besides, you trust her, right?â
Eliza gave him a hopeful smile. âYeah, Dad. You trust me, donât you?â
He hesitated. Of course, he trusted herâshe was the most brilliant, thoughtful person he knew. But the idea of her being out there with a boyfriend, navigating relationships and the teenage world, it was overwhelming. She was still his little girl.
But he could see the way her eyes were watching him, waiting for his approval, and he couldnât be the dad that held her back from growing up. With a deep sigh, he ran a hand through his hair, trying to shake the tension out of his shoulders.
âI...I trust you, Eliza,â he said finally, though he still looked like he was struggling to come to terms with it. âBut, uh...maybe I should meet this Ethan kid before your date.â
Eliza grinned, rolling her eyes affectionately. âOf course, Dad. Iâll make sure heâs ready for the interrogation.â
Spencer groaned, looking at you for support, and you just laughed, wrapping your arms around his waist. âSee? Not so bad.â
âIt feels bad,â Spencer muttered, though his heart was slowly warming to the idea. âCanât she stay ten forever?â
You pressed a kiss to his cheek. âNope. But sheâll always be your little girl.â
And even though Spencer wasnât entirely ready, he knew you were right. He watched Eliza happily texting away, already excited for her movie date, and couldnât help but smile. He might not like it, but heâd be there to support her every step of the way, even if it meant meeting her first boyfriend with a million questions lined up.
Spencer nodded, though the reality was still sinking in. His little girl was no longer just the dinosaur-obsessed kid running through the backyard. She was becoming her own person, with her own life and experiences. And while he wasnât quite ready for all the changes, he knew heâd be there for her, through every giggle and every milestone, even if it meant meeting Ethan and doing âthe dad thingâ with a nervous smile.
For now, though, heâd take a deep breath and try not to panicâtoo much.

Part 5
(Told y'all I was back!!!)
Content: Established BDSM Dynamics, Attempted Intimidation, Threats, Mild Violence and Injury
You suspect Konig gets off on watching you interact with others.
Heâs an insecure man, thereâs no doubt about that. He gets twitchy about other men interacting with you beyond brief, bland exchanges. A sleepy cashier at the grocery store? Thatâs fine. The waiter complimenting your choice of meal for some reason? Konigâs eyeing the steak knife.
That said, something about the way you are in a public setting has him constantly shifting. Practically squirming. And itâs not just social anxiety.
You smile at the employee that showed you where the towels are and Konig adjusts himself as soon as their back is turned. You politely brush off a mistake in your food order, his pupils spread like an oil spill.
You ask him about it one night, ever curious about this strange, obsessive creature clinging like remora.
âYou are⊠very nice to people,â he explains slowly.
The two of you are doing a puzzle. You watch his big, calloused fingers fidget with a border piece. Heâs forgotten to hand it to you while thinking, but youâre not in any rush.
âYou are good at being⊠normal. No one knows that you are a killer. They canât tell.â
You snort softly. âI am normal.â
He shoots you a skeptical look and you laugh. (Donât miss how he flusters either.)
âAm I that different here than out there?â you wonder.
âYes.â
You hum. Have never really considered that, but it makes sense. In privacy, you have nothing to react to. No faces to make or scripts to follow. You have Konig now but heâs different, there was never a reason to treat him like everyone else.
âSo what about it arouses you?â you finally ask.
âThat they donât know.â
You donât understand. You hardly ever do. Youâre extra nice to the poor teenager that prepares your coffee next time you two go out. (You make Konig edge himself on the drive back home, then overstimulate him to near unconsciousness on the dining table.)
Itâs not surprising, then, when he shyly asks if youâll come meet some of his KorTac teammates.
He asks with his face smooshed between your thighs, nose crushed against your pubic mound. Just getting started, the taste of you already clouding his thoughts. The toe of your boot is nestled beneath his heavy balls; his voice pitches up proportional to the bend of your ankle.
âWhy?â you ask, flat and emotionless. It makes him drool when you bleach the inflection from your voice, stripping it down to phonetics and fricatives. A drop of saliva trickles down your thigh. You twist your fingers in his hair, making him lick it up. (âKeep it tidy,â youâd told him. So far heâs barely managing, but he gets off on the struggle to please you.)
He mumbles something you canât make out, so you force his head up and watch him blink. His swallows thickly, chin already glistening with slick, pink tongue lolling out across swollen lips.
âAgain,â you command. Calm, even.
âI w-want them to meet you⊠if they can tellâŠâ
You tilt your head. âIf they can tell Iâm a murderer?â
He whimpers, teeth sinking into his lip hard. You hitch your boot up, watch the tears collect in the corners of his eyes. Precum drip, drip, drips down his stomach from the vivid, weeping head of his straining cock.
âIs that all? You want me to meet your little friends with blood on my hands?â you coo.
He tries to nod, but your grip is far too tight. You click your tongue off the roof of your mouth. His hips jerk with the derisive sound.
âOr is it that you want to show off your owner?â you wonder. His eyes nearly roll into the back of his head. You huff in amusement as the pieces click into place.
âI see now.â
You cram his flushed face between your thighs again, grinding your pussy on the flat tongue he instantly presents.
âYou want me to be a pretty, sweet thing. You want to show me off in some frilly sundress and play helpless civilian. Iâll shake their hands and they wonât know Iâve ripped a manâs guts out. Iâll smile pretending I havenât bit someoneâs finger off.â
Heâs whining high and needy, rocking himself on the laces of your boots. You continue, rambling in a way you never do outside these moments.
âAnd you want me to do all that with my collar around your throat.â You press his face in tighter and close your thighs. âMaybe I should stab someone, huh? Iâm sure I can find someone worth the effort.â
You feel the hot pinpricks of tears on your skin, his voice uncontrolled and breaking with desperation. Heâs now arching his hips away and you know itâs because heâs trying not to cum. Itâs a new rule you just recently established - that if heâs allowed access to your cunt, he gives it his full attention. Treats it like the rare and fleeting privilege it is.
All that just from your little tease.
The image is an intriguing one. Youâve never taken any pleasure from hiding your actions from others. But there is something almost⊠quaint, you suppose, about meeting men who kill for a living as a killer yourself. Theyâll look at you and see Konigâs quiet civilian girlfriend. This will be a secret just for you and Konig. Youâve never had someone else know while you play a part.
An unexpected wave of pleasure knocks the breath out of you. You didnât expect to find the prospect soâŠ
âFuck,â you whisper, blinking through stars. âIâll meet your friends if you make me cum in the next thirty seconds.â
It takes him thirty-two, but considering the intensity of it, you decide to be generous.
You show up to base in a floral-print dress and pretty sandals. The key to Konigâs collar shines in the hollow of your throat on a dainty chain, prominently displayed. (His eyes keep skipping down to it. You pinch his thigh when he nearly misses a red light, chastising to be more careful. That only results in a plump outline down the thigh of his pants. Your mistake.) Hair done, a bit of makeup, you make for a nice character.
The head of Konigâs squad meets you first. Declan OâConor, a shorter man who introduces himself with a wide smile, a rough Irish accent, and - most favorably - no appreciative glances at your body. Off to a surprisingly commendable start. You smile back and let Konig introduce you, eyes roaming the private KorTac compound.
Sleek black vehicles, modern-looking buildings. Distant pods of joggers on what looks like a training field. Even more distant sounds of guns. Passing personnel. Some of the men doing double takes, a couple of nudge-nudges. Thereâs not much of interest to you.
Declan shoos the two of you off after some pleasantries and an idea of where to find other members of Konigâs main squad.
You meet Aksel, Roze, Horangi, and Stiletto playing cards in one of the rec rooms. Roze teases Konig about finally bringing you âround. Aksel takes the initiative to stand to greet you - unnecessary, but not offensive. While his back is turned, Horangi peeks at his cards. You make eye contact with Stiletto when she notices as well and twitch your lips in a tiny, knowing smirk. Neither of you say a word.
Only two of them (Horangi and Roze) are on Konigâs usual team, but heâs worked with the other two before. Youâre more interested in watching Konig interact with them. Like you, he tends to let others lead conversation in public - though the reasoning is different. At home, though, he usually initiates and you enjoy letting him talk and talk, only chiming in when asked for your opinion or reaction (or lack thereof).
Though youâre not left completely unincluded - the other KorTac members ask polite surface questions that you respond to automatically. Itâs all habit, a performance youâve given a thousand times, a veteran actor. Youâve perfected volume, pitch, inflection, spaces, down to the shape of your mouth as you speak. Your face is easier. People are good at expressions - too good. You hardly have to do anything to express easy-calm-friendly. Relaxed brows, a slight curve at the corners of your mouth, loose jaw. There: Konigâs normal, if shy, girlfriend.
When the two of you leave the rec room, Konig pulls you down a little side hallway and kisses desperately along your jaw.
âYou are so goodâŠâ he mumbles breathlessly, â...so good at pretending.â
You snort, bemused. âIs that what it is?â
This is just being a person, out in the world. No one is their true selves around strangers, you thought. Is it so different when itâs you doing it?
He groans softly into your throat, mouthing at your necklace. âThis will be harder than I thought.â
âWeâre not fucking here,â you say.
âYes, miss.â
You let him hide there for a moment longer, then usher him along to the next thing. He does manage to give you a decent tour of the facilities, telling you stories and explaining how KorTac does things.
You meet Hutch along the way, just a brief greeting in one of the halls. Again, not a usual member of Konigâs team but theyâve worked together before and Konig is full of pride and enthusiasm to show you off. (Maybe youâd be annoyed if his presentation was more âlook what I baggedâ rather than âlook at who found me worthyâ.)
Itâs as heâs showing you one of the briefing rooms that you meet Krueger.
And you know, instantly. From the slow, exaggerated twice-over, to the obvious way he shifts his lower half, eyes lidded. You feel the mask of the day slip.Â
âIs this the tail youâve been chasing instead of your own, Bruder?â he asks, sauntering closer. He could say it in German - but he wanted you to hear it.
You blink once, slow.
Konig, at your side, hisses an embarrassed correction. Even with that ridiculous hood on, you know his face must be burning. You take a single, small step forward, meeting Krueger as he sidles up too close to be appropriate. You introduce yourself without offering a hand.
âDo you know what it is we do here, little girl?â he taunts. âWhat your boyfriend does?â
âYes,â you answer.
âYou know he is a sadistic fuck, eh? Can break a manâs spine over his knee.â
âItâs impressive,â you admit, shrugging.
He narrows his eyes, but it seems more mocking than challenging. He doesnât think you are anything to take seriously. An interesting bauble to bat at and toy with, to see if youâll jump or squeak for his entertainment. He cracks his neck and takes another step, the netting that hides his face playing shadows across what little skin is visible.
âHas he told you about me?â he asks, voice dipping.
He has. âOnly some.â
He looms in closer, radiating menace. Heâs a broad man, makes up for height with presence alone. Objectively intimidating, you suppose.
âTrying not to frighten you,â he coos, âwhat a sweet boyfriend.â
You hum, noncommittal. Not even sure if you can feel fear while conscious. In your nightmares, itâs visceral enough to taste - but it only ever lingers on the back of your tongue once you wake. After all, thereâs nothing to fear among the living. Not anymore.
âIs there something to be frightened of?â you ask.
âI could tell you such tales,â he croons, bending his head to speak low and intimate. âMaybe even a demonstration⊠of the things they accuse me ofâŠâ
You see the flicker of his hand in the corner of your eye.
âDonât touch me,â you warn.
He laughs, rust and dried blood. âOr what, little mouse?â
âYouâll regret it.â
You hear Konig shift behind you, though you canât tell if itâs in preparation to intervene or out of pure arousal. Perhaps both.
âIs that a threat?â Krueger mocks.
You are under no delusions that youâre better equipped for a fight than him. He has more experience and training, heâll win in an altercation, thatâs just a fact. But you donât have to win, thatâs not what youâve promised. Youâll just make him regret starting it in the first place.
You look him in the eye.
âYes.â
His fingertips skim the strap of your dress. You lunge, slamming your forehead into his nose. It crunches. He jerks his hand back, instinctively reaching for his face, folding a bit. Point made, step back, adjusting your necklace into place again.
And then Konig reaches past you, snatching the shoulder of Kruegerâs shirt and shaking him hard. He snarls out something in German, sending Krueger to his knees.
âI am sorry, miss,â he says to you fervently, âI am so sorry. I did not think - he is an asshole. I am sorry.â
You pat his arm, lean past his hulking form, still gripping Krueger now on his knees. You curl your fingers in the netted mask and jerk his head forward.
âThis is the best way to stop the bleeding,â you say. âDonât be rude again.â
He gurgles something out, you canât even tell if itâs English or German. You release him and turn on your heel.
âThe range is next, right?â
Konig is at your side instantly. âYes, miss.â
You meet the last of Konigâs regular teammates outside the range. (You had to cut that little excursion short. Even seeing you with a gun in your hands had his knees shaky. You got through one magazine before he was making noises in the back of his throat. It took fifteen minutes for his erection to deflate a reasonable amount.)
Heâs a big man, covered from head to toe in black tactical gear - again, with a mask. Coming in with a sniper rifle over his shoulder as you and Konig are leaving. His name is Nikto. You meet his eyes as you smile and nod in greeting, Konig introducing you like before.
Maybe you havenât quite sunk back into your Normalness yet, or perhaps Not Quite People recognize each other. But he takes one look at you and knows. You know too.Â
Apropos nothing, he offers you a wicked knife, hilt first. Your fingers donât touch as you take it.
âFor your next hunt,â he rumbles. âKonig is lucky.â
You blink as he walks off, glance at the blade in your hand. âItâs nice.â
Konig fidgets, staring after Nikto. âHow did he know?â
You shrug.
Konig turns back to you, nervousness swirling. âAre you worried?â
You snort. âNo.â
Why would a bear bother a mountain lion?
That night, you lay Konig down and grind your dripping pussy along the rigid length of his cock. He twists his fingers tight in the bed sheets (you already hear them tearing; you have spares for this) and cries while you recount every part of the day as if he wasnât there with you. Heâs stark naked, vulnerable, trembling while your dress drapes over your thighs, obscuring the obscene view of his cockhead rubbing your puffy clit.
He begs in intervals but you just keep speaking over him, recounting needless details like building names and the food served in the cafeteria. When you reach the end of the visit, you lean down. Propping yourself on his chest, you speak soft and syrupy warm into his ear.
âYou did so well handling Krueger today. Such a good boy, keeping him down for me. Iâm proud of you for knowing to wait. My good guard dog.â
He dissolves into a puddle in seconds, weakly asking permission to please, please, please let him cum early just this once.
You let him.
In gratitude, he eats you out until you fall asleep.

worth the wait?
leah williamson x reader
i know i said that i retired from writing but i couldnât not put one out for a pretty girlâs birthday, even if itâs a bit very late. happy birthday @totaly-obsessed <3
also credit to the show âscorpionâ for a bit of the plot and dialogue. itâs what inspired me to write this
âââ
The last three years was nothing short of a roller coaster. You moved to England from your small apartment in New York to work for the government â after being caught hacking into all their data, only telling them that youâd tell them exactly how you did it and wouldnât be charged with anything.
In the first couple of weeks of getting settled in your new place, youâve been going to the same little diner every single day. The diner was busier than normal, but you still took up a whole table to yourself, folders littered on top as you typed away on your laptop.Â
You didnât mind how busy it was, all in your own world until a figure slid into the booth right in front of you. You look up, eyes blinking rather quickly.
âUh, I donât know you. Why are you sitting there?â
Shocked by your words, she spits out a venomous apology, sliding out of the booth.
âI can see by your facial expression that you arenât rather pleased by how I talked to you. People have told me that I have a very low EQ and donât know how to deal with⊠emotions because I do not feel as one normal human does.âÂ
The woman sits back down in the booth in front of you, face now showing an amusing expression.
âWhatâs your name?â
âY/N Y/LN.â
âWell, Y/N, itâs interesting to meet you.â
âItâs interesting to meet you too.â
Thereâs a bit of an awkward silence as you kept staring at her. She shifts in her seat, not knowing the reason for your stare.
âYou never told me your name.â
Her eyebrows shoot up in surprise. âOh! Sorry, itâs Leah, Leah Williamson.â
âOkay.â You give her a tight lipped smile, going back to your work.
Leah was unsure of what to do. All she knows was that she saw a pretty girl in a crowded diner taking up a whole booth and next thing she knows, sheâs sat across from her.
As she works up the courage to start a conversation, sheâs lightly shoved deeper into the booth.
âJen has a case for us so pack up.â The person is gone before she could steady herself.
âI apologize for Natalieâs demeanor, but this is urgent. Goodbye.â
Both of you didnât know, but that would be the start of a very complicated relationship. The pair of you have gotten close over time, you even going to games to support her even if itâs not your favorite place to be.
Youâve also gotten close to some of Leahâs teammates, well you tried to keep your distance, but they keep popping up beside you.
âWhen are you gonna ask the skipper out?â
You were currently doing a crossword puzzle â not really a puzzle because all the answer were much to easy for your very smart brain â when one Katie McCabe came up to stand next to you after the game.
The team had just won against Aston Villa and are getting showered and dressed before leaving the stadium.
âI donât know what you mean.â
âOh, come on man! Stop being a wimp and ask her to dinner.â
âRight now?â
âYes! Right now!â
Standing by the locker room, you wait for the blonde to make an appearance.
âY/N! Glad you could make it!â She walks up to you, wrapping her arms around your neck, pulling you into an embrace.
âOf course. You gave me tickets and- and youâre playing. You played great by the way.â You stutter a bit, always getting taken aback when she hugs you.
âThank you for coming.â
âHey, uh, listen. May-maybe youâd want toââ
ââHey, Leah!â
Your words were interrupted when a girl who had on gear from the opposing team walked up to where you stood with the girl mentioned.
âJordan! Whatâs up?â
âJust wondering if you were still up for later?â
âFor sure.â
âOkay! Itâs a date!â
âItâs a date.â
Watching her walk away, you were frozen. Your plan was now thrown out the window.
âWhat were you saying?â
âOh, just that I am, uh, going now. Goodbye.â
You turn your heels and speed walk your way out of the building, leaving a confused Leah behind.
Heating footsteps catching up behind you, you see Katie beside you.
âSo? Howâd it go?â
âGreat, in fact. She has a date.â
âThatâs amazing!â
âWith Jordan.â
âWait, what?â
You didnât say any more, hopping into your car and driving off.
The Arsenal women hadnât seen you in a week since you told Katie about Leahâs date. No one bothered to ask Leah because one; they didnât know how to approach the situation and two; you asked them not to say a word.
You were stuck in your apartment as far as anyone knew, locked yourself away from everyone and everything other than your work and coworkers.
Leah and Jordanâs relationship didnât last long, couple months at most and everything was mostly back to normal between the two of you.Â
As much as Leahâs friends love and care for Leah, they grew fond of you too and didnât like how she was treating you like some second option.
Of course you were completely oblivious, emotions are difficult for you to understand, not knowing why people keep telling you to be cautious with your heart.
Going into year two of knowing Leah, youâve been to your fair share of dates of your own. Failed dates are what you would say they were because they never understood how your mind works/never took the time to understand you.Â
âHey, mate! Itâs good to see you!â
Turning around, you spot Katie with a shopping basket of her own.
âItâs been a while since youâve come around.â
âI have been very busy as of late.â
Before Katie could say a reply, she was interrupted by a familiar person.
âHey, Katie! Did you happen to already grab the tomato sauce?â
Leah Williamson in all her glory, except she wasnât alone. Your eyes tracing her figure from her eyes all the way down her arm to where her hand was, clasped with another.
âY/N! Didnât expect to see you here bud!â
âBud?â You thought. âA very platonic name to call someone.â
âLeah.â You turn back to Katie. âIt was very nice to catch up with you Katie. Goodbye.â With that you walked away.
âWhatâs her problem?â Leah asked, eyebrows furrowed as she watched your figure become smaller. Katie just sighs, rolling her eyes and also walking away from Leah.
This year was already starting way different from the last. Youâve locked yourself up, not bothering to leave your apartment unless it was for work.
And Leah? Well, sheâs been preoccupied with her new relationship, pushing you off to the side once again.Â
You were spiraling, not that you knew, not understanding what you were feeling so you hopped in your car to go for a drive.
Gripping onto the steering wheel with tears streaming down your face, you step on the pedal harder, not aware of anything around you. Next thing you knew, all you saw was black.
Back at the warehouse, Natalie was wondering where their leader could have gone, surprised how you werenât there with them as youâre always early. The rest of the team had no idea where you were so she called the very last person she wants to call.
âNat?â
âItâs Natalie, Williamson.â
âUh, Okay. Natalie? Why are you calling?â
âIs Y/N with you?â
âNo. Why?â
âGoodbye.â
Leah quickly gets out of bed where her girlfriend laid with her.
âWhere are you going?â She asked, only to be ignored, the sound of the door slamming echoes through the house.
âHave you found her?â Was the first thing Leah asks as she barges into the warehouse where the team, minus you, gathered.
âYou are not welcome here.â A man walks up to grab her arm.
âLet go of me. Sheâs my friend.â
âSome fucking friend you are then.â
âWhatâs that supposed to mean?â
âWhereâs your girlfriend?â
The arguments escalate, voices are being raised not noticing a figure walk through the door on unsteady feet.Â
âWhat is with all the shouting?â
Thatâs when they see your disheveled face, eyes bloodshot from what looks like crying. It was silent for a moment before they all started shouting again, this time directed at you.
âWhere have you been?â
âWeâve been trying to reach you for so long!â
âWhy havenât you been answering your phone?â
âShhh! Youâre all too loud, thank you.â
Leah stomps over to you, grabs your hand and pulls you up to your room.
âWhy are you trying to pull my arm out of its socket?â
âAre you serious right now?â
âYes? You were pulling too aggressively.â You state, walking to your closet to grab a new shirt.
âEveryone was worried about you.â You exclaims, hands waving to show how angry she is. âI was worried about you!â
âYou were?â You ask, your fingers stopped buttoning your shirt halfway up.
Taken aback at your confused expression, she carefully steps towards you, trembling hands helped you finish the last buttons of your shirt.
âOf course I was! Youâre my best friend.â She runs her hands from your chest, past your neck, resting on both of your cheeks, thumbs rubbing soothingly.
âIf you are, then have you noticed this is the first time youâve said a word to me in about three months?â Your voice was soft, tears on the verge of falling as you looked into Leahâs eyes.
âWhat?â
âYouâve not even looked my way when we happen to be in the same room together.â
âWhat-what do you want me to say here?â
âWhat I want you to say is why you always avoid me once you get into a relationship? And donât give me that shit where-where sheâs your girlfriend and-and she comes first because I was always pushed to the side with Jordan and now with whoever youâre with now.â
âThatâs not true!â
âI donât know what to tell you. But donât come running towards me once this relationship of yours tragically ends just like the last time.â
You grab your jacket and walked out of the room, leaving Leah with her thoughts.
The drive home was quiet, the sounds outside of the car muffled. The key twists to unlock the front door, closing it behind her. Walking into the bedroom, she spots her girlfriend whoâs sat on the bed, seemingly has not moved from when she left her.
âYou okay?â Leah heard the question, but didnât answer. So the woman pushed. âWhere did you go? What happened?â
âLeave.â It was whispered too softly to be heard.
âWhat?â
âLeave!â Her voice stronger.
âWhat do you mean leave?â
âI mean leave my apartment. I-I donât. I donât know, but I wanna be alone.â
âI donât think you should be alone right now.â
âPlease.â Vulnerable. Thatâs how she sounded, almost pleading for the woman to do as she says. Getting the hint, she hastily leaves, grabbing all her things.
Finally alone in her apartment, Leah lets the tears fall, the weight of the day felt heavy on her shoulders.
âI was always pushed to the side.â Your voice echoes in her head. Did she push you aside? But she didnât mean to. Right?
She doubted herself, unsure of what was true or not, even if she was the one who lived it.
Months passed with no communication between the two friends former friends. Well, Leah tried, texting, calling, sending letters and was met with nothing but radio silence. Leah isolated herself. She barely slept, went to training and home right after, not going out with friends to celebrate after a win. If she did go out, she finds herself staring at the entrance, hoping you would walk through.
You were the same.
You stared at the computer screen, eyes flicking from one thing to another. The numbers and letters blurred together, seemingly losing all meaning, but that was okay. Meaning wasnât the goal. Distraction was.Â
Your coworkers, your friends grew worried. They could see the dark bags that formed under your eyes, knowing you havenât been sleeping much.
They never brought up Leah. She was the she-who-shall-not-be-named.
An envelope being placed on the keyboard snaps you out of working, seeing it was addressed to you. Opening it up, you see it was an invitation. A wedding invitation from two of your friends.
âIt was about time.â You thought.
So here you were, sitting in your seat, which was conveniently right in front of Leahâs. Of course sheâd be here. The guests mostly consisted of her friends as this was a teammateâs wedding.
Leah couldnât keep her eyes off of you, even if it was just the back of your head. The bride stood at the altar, tears falls down her face as she sees her bride walk down the aisle.
At the reception, you stood off to the side, a bit overwhelmed by the amount of people around you.
âWould you like to dance?â
Turning towards the voice, you find yourself standing face to face with Leah and man does she look beautiful.
âI-I donât know how to dance.â
âThatâs okay. Just follow my lead.â
She grabs both of your hands, placing them on her waist as her arms rest over your shoulders.
âIâve been trying to talk to you for months.â
âI know.â
âAnd you didnât bother replying back? I even sent letters. Who even sends letters to anyone during this time anymore?â
Your purse your lips, not knowing what to say.
âWhy? Iâve been trying to-to hopefully right my wrongs, but I canât do that when you wonât even talk to me.â Leahâs voice held desperation. âI mean you canât even look at me.âÂ
Your eyes flick up to meet hers.
âDo you remember what I told you the last time we talked?â
ââŠdonât come running towards me once this relationship of yours tragically ends just like the last time.â She nods.
âI was tired of being the second choice. Tired of being pushed aside everyone some other girl catches the slightest bit of attention from you.â You remove your hands from her waist and take a step back to distance yourself a bit.
âI want to state for the record that I am not under the influence of any substance. Iâm just stating an irrefutable fact. I pushed you away⊠because Iâm in love with you. Iâve been in love with you since shortly after we met. And Iâve spent years trying to process how that should be handled. Perhaps itâs not something that is supposed to be handled. Maybe it-itâs something that just is.â You take a breath shaking your head, a bit overwhelmed with the confession you just made. âAnd I-I know you-you donât feel the same as I do. And thatâs okay. But I-I just wanted you to know.â
âY/N.â Leah says softly, taking a step closer. âIâm in love you to too.â
You lick your lips. âI donât know what to do with that information.â
âI have an idea.â
The married couple decided to sneak away for a bit, finding a supply closet in their venue. Opening the door, their eyes go wide.
âI guess Leah is no longer Voldemort.â
âClose the door.â Leah says, putting the shoulder strap of her dress back in place.
âHey, guys. Whyâd you guys sneakââ Alessia gasps. âWhat am I looking at?â
âClose the door!â You state louder, buttoning up your shirt, hair disheveled.
âWhat are you all looking at?â Katie asks walking towards the group, looking into the closet. âWell itâs about damn time.â
âAnyone else want to come by? How about Kyra?â
âWhatâs up guys?â Kyra comes up, biting into a pastry that was provided.
You both quickly fix yourself up, a bit embarrassed with getting caught. Leah gives them all a stare, her captain stare, to let them know that they need to leave.
Once theyâve left, Leah wastes no time pulling your back in, her lips easily finding yours as she closes back the door.
âGlad Leah got her head out of her ass.â Katie states, walking up to the bar with the group.
âRight!â

Something about imagining yandere Phantom Troupe members in a "red string of fate"-style soulmate AU finding their soulmate when the soulmate is out doing super mundane tasks is so appealing to me
like, Feitan having to trail a soulmate while they shop for groceries, hemming and hawwing over prices, putting stuff back, making detours to find special treats, oblivious (or, perhaps not?) to the creepy man on their tail.
Or Machi silently stalking her soulmate as they go to the doctor--she frowns at the realization that it's a specialist's office; as they run all those mundane errands that the Troupe no longer has hands in, at least not normally.
Or Chrollo finding his soulmate at--of course--the library, and getting little thrills as he sees what books they pick up or put down. Perhaps deciding to take the plunge to talk to them as they sit at a public puzzle table, the perfect opportunity to strike up a conversation without seeming like he's been following them through the stacks.

Hi, I was so excited when I saw there is still someone writing for Kuroshitsuji and, more specifically, for Undertaker (â  â ââ âżâ ââ  â )â ⥠since your fixed post said you're accepting requests, I hope you don't mind if I send one. @yaboisbullshit wrote something that won't leave my mind (I hope they don't mind that I have tagged them, I'm new on Tumblr and don't know the proper etiquette â„â ïčâ â„). Anyway they wrote about a scene in "Who framed Roger Rabbit" in which we have, basically, Jessica Rabbit simping over Roger Rabbit and I would love to see Undertaker, Sebastian and Ciel's reaction to some girl who is basically a Mary Sue (beautiful, smart, maybe a noble) who's Undertaker's partner and a total simp (â  â êâ áŽâ êâ ) like, he's just eating his biscuits and she's giving him heart eyes lol. Anyway, sorry for the long ask and thanks a lot for your writing, whether you do my request or not (â âżâ ^â âżâ ^â )
and i would love to write it!
Undertaker's Not so Secret Admirer
Synopsis: The Undertaker's shop is filled with odd visits, but he never expected one such as this.
It started as a normal day in the Undertakers shop, slow as usual for the small funeral parlor.
A certain earl makes his way down the streets of the late 18th-century England, a black clad butler by his side and a mission underway. The earl strides himself with purposeful intent and a will that cannot be stopped by many, but as Ciel entered the familiar establishment that day-he stops in his tracks at the sight that he catches before his eyes.
A young woman with a bright aura sits by herself at the center of the parlor on a plush couch in the center of the parlor, giving a giddy wave to the Phantomhive boy.
Not only had Ciel never seen anyone besides his own company adorning the parlor, he also had never seen the parlor fit for human company in such a way.
Ciel gives his butler companion a puzzled look, though receiving nothing but silence from the female counterpart.
The two boys stand in the doorway in stunned silence before the younger boy decides to take charge, yelling into the darkness, "Undertaker...!"
The man in question bursts through the side door, holding a platter of tea and cookies which was obviously prepared in advance.
"Phantomhive, perfect timin', make 'rself at home." He states with a mischievous grin glittering his lips.
The earl seats himself with his butler near and watching. Ciel notices that on the opposite side of the couch, the woman has now adorned a doding expression at the sight of the funeral parlors owner.
She sits with her legs crossed and her palms holding her chin, heart eyes practically bearing through her head. Meanwhile, The Undertaker giggles as he seats himself opposite to them. The young earl starts to feel as if he is witnessing a game that he was not invited to play.
The Undertaker, on the other hand, seems to be more than entertained by these ongoing events.
"I apologize for interrupting you while you have guests, however, I have some business to di-" Ciel starts, however he is quickly interrupted by the sounds of the seemingly love-struck young woman sitting across from him.
Practically squealing in her seat from excitement, the young woman seems to be giddy to speak to The Undertaker and at the notice of his silence, the mystery woman jumps up from her seat and slams her hands on the table.
"Oh gosh, i'm sorry! I've just been so excited to meet you...!" She is now leaning over the coffee table, practically soaking in the rest of personally space that Undertaker has to spare.
The Undertaker bursts into laughter at the sentiment.
"Oh god, I've just heard so much about you. They said you were good looking, but I could've never imagined how right they were," she continues, voice growing more and more smitten as she trails off.
The Undertaker cannot seem to stop his fit of laughter now.
"Actually, young master, I believe we shall leave The Undertaker to this company. It would simply be improper to do otherwise..." the butler spoke, silently guiding his master up from his seat. The earl mutters some very confused phrases on his way up out the door.
The Undertaker tilts his hat towards the earl on his way out and he watched as the young woman seats herself once again. She tries to hide her flushed expression, sipping from her tea cup once again.
The Undertaker clicks his tongue several times as he raises from his seat and heads towards the door which had been left agape. "Ahaha.. Oh dear," He says, wiping a stray tear from his eye from giggling too much.
The Undertaker leans his back against the door, closing the remaining gap between you and the outside world.
"Now, if you planned on coming here to present such a hilarious show such as that one in hopes that I would tell you about myself.. you could have just asked." His voice lowers more and more as he goes on and begins to slowly creep towards where you stay seated.
The sudden realization that all of his attention was now placed on you had you blushing profusely. You attempted to cover your face with your gloved hands, however your sense told you that he already knew how flustered you were.
You let out a nervous giggle as The Undertaker approaches you, placing one hand behind you on the back of the couch and the other on the arm of it- you were essentially trapped.
"So, my dear, what is it that you wanted to know...?"

WORD COUNT:Â 6.3k
SUMMARY:Â Things don't go as smooth as you planned with your bakery's opening, but you're doing your best to overcome the struggles. However there is one person who is hating on your business as if it was his job: Harry Styles. You just wish you knew what you did to earn his hatred...
MASTERLISTÂ |Â SUPPORT ME!
This is not how you imagined the last weeks before your official opening.Â
You imagined the interrior to be fully done by now so you can focus on the last touches, ordering the right ingredients and promoting the opening.
Instead, youâre staring at whatâs supposed to be your eight tables, intact and put together but itâs all in pieces. You specifically remember the website said they would deliver them done and you wouldnât have to play puzzles. But they arrived six days late and very much not the way they promised.Â
Taking a deep breath you stare up at the ceiling and decide to take the trash out before turning your bakery into Ikea.
âItâs alright. I can do this. I can do anything,â you keep telling yourself as you drag out the trash bags that are almost the size of you.Â
You knew opening your own business would be tough. Especially in Eroda, the little town you have some of your earliest memories from, where your grandma used to live, the place that was closest to her heart and it breaks yours to know she couldnât spend her last years here because she was too sick to live on her own.Â
She never asked you to come back here, but the moment you found her recipe books the summer after she passed, you just knew what you had to do. Now itâs been three years and youâre finally opening Nanaâs that will bring her warmth and love back to Eroda, or you hope so.Â
Pushing the door open with your shoulder, you keep dragging the bags to the containers behind the small shop and youâre so deep in your thoughts you donât even notice the two people just a couple of feet away.
âHi, Love!â
You recognize Anneâs sweet, chirpy voice and a smile spreads across your face even before you look up, but the moment you see the person standing next to her, all joy just drains from your body.Â
Harry Styles is standing as grouchy and arrogant as always next to his mother, hands hidden in the pockets of his fleece jacket, his unruly curls are tucked underneath his beanie and any normal woman would be into the man, but you. Not after he very clearly let you know you donât belong here and you should take your business back to the city where you came from.Â
You expected some resistance, not much has changed in town in the past decades and you had a feeling some might want to keep it that way, but you guessed older people would riot against your bakery, not a thirty years old grown man.Â
âHi Anne,â you smile back and mustering up all your strength you throw one of the bags into the bin, but you overestimated your muscle work, because it only falls to the edge and almost topples right out. Luckily, you grab it just in time and push it in.
âOh, dear, those bags are bigger than you! Harry, help her!âÂ
âNo, itâs alriââÂ
Before you get to protest, Harry strides over to you and grabs the remaining two bags as if they weighed nothing and throws them into the bin without breaking a sweat.Â
Of course he is fit, the man probably runs up the hill carrying twice his weight every morning, because thatâs how you can imagine him working out.Â
Though you shouldnât be imagining anything about him.
âThanks,â you purse your lips and square your shoulders as you face the two of them.
âHow is everything coming together?â
Anne has been so enthusiastic about your bakery, she comes around probably every other day, checks in on your progress and always offers her help.Â
âUm, it is⊠okay, I guess,â you let out a tired chuckle. Glancing over at Harry you see him looking to the side, as if he wasnât even listening, but something is telling you he is very much focused on the conversation.
Yeah, thatâs right, Iâm still here! Not even your arrogance can chase me away!
Anne cranes her neck, peeking into the shop and she spots the pile in the middle.
âOh, are you planning to put those together by yourself? Harry, why donât you help her?â
The moment she suggests, you both protest.
âNo, thereâs no need.â
âMum, I donât really have the time,â he says at the same time, but it doesnât seem to go through. Anneâs phone starts ringing and she excuses herself, leaving the two of you there.Â
Great, this is all you were missing today, an awkward, forced situation with the man who wants to see you gone. Perfect.
âShouldâve ordered them done, donât you think?â he speaks up, nodding towards the shop.
At first, you just blink at him, then close your eyes and when you open them, you have the fakest smile on your twitching face.
âWhat a wonderful idea! I totally did not think of that!â
âThen send them back and ask them to bring what you ordered.â He rolls his eyes and itâs irking you so much. You definitely donât need his stupid advices, not when youâre terribly behind your schedule.
âThey arrived almost a week later than they should have, if I send them back thereâs now ay they will send me the new ones in time for the opening.â
Harry stands there, staring at the pile of furniture pieces inside and for a moment you think he might actually offer his help, which youâre not sure youâd have accepted, but it remains a mystery, because thatâs not what he says when he speaks up.
âIâm busy for real. Mum likes to offer my help around without asking me.â
It takes you a couple of moments to figure out what you feel about what he just said. And when you finally do, you see red.
âAs I said, I donât need help. I did everything by myself and I will get this done as well. I donât need your unwanted, half-assed effort to pretend like youâre helping me.â
You come off rougher than you probably should have, but heâs been bugging you ever since you moved to Eroda. The man knows nothing about you or your business, yet every time he comes near your shop he acts like it physically pains him to even look at it. Heâd be the last person youâd ask for help, he doesnât have to act like he has so much to do and doesnât have the time to help when he doesnât actually want to help.Â
Harry stares at you with such intensity you almost break and stutter a sorry out, but thatâs when Anne returns.
âAh, we have to run. But I will come by tomorrow, Darling. And Harry can helââ
âNo need for help,â you smile at her as gratefully as you can force yourself to be in this moment.Â
âAlright, then see you later,â she waves and you nod at her before your eyes meet Harryâs one last time before they walk away and you return to your shop.Â
It takes you six hours to assemble the tables later that day, but you do it.
With no help.Â
Moving to Eroda, it hasnât been your only goal to have your business become part of the town but you also knew youâd have to become one of the locals as well. Only a handful of people know who your grandmother was and you donât plan to reveal it until the opening. You want them to taste all the baked goods and think of her first and then put the picture together. But this means youâre a total newbie for most people around. Last time you spent more than just a day here was when you were sixteen and youâve changed a lot since then, so itâs natural people donât recognize you.Â
Anne has been your biggest help in breaking the ice and involving you in as many things as possible so you get to meet the people of Eroda. The weeks leading up to Christmas are usually filled with all kinds of winter activities locals enjoy wholeheartedly. Concert by the town hall, decorating the trees at the main square, collecting donations and cooking for those in need for example. Youâve been to all of these and very much enjoyed being part of the community. This weekend however, you canât say youâre looking forward to the new festive activity.
Ice-skating on the frozen lake.
It sounds nice and fun, but youâve ice-skated only once in your life and ended up breaking your wrist. Not your favorite childhood memory for sure and you donât exactly want to relive it as an adult.Â
You arrive with the intention of just sipping some hot tea and watch everyone else skate around until your fingers are falling off and you can go back to the shop to finish putting up the tinker lights at the back.Â
Anne however had different ideas about today. Because as soon as you arrive at the lake, she is waving at you, holding up a pair of skates and you know they are not hers, because sheâs already wearing those.Â
âKick those boots off, Love, I brought you my old skates! Come join us!â She smiles brightly at you from next to the pier where people get on and off the ice.Â
âOh, no, I donât skate, Anne, but thank you!â
âDonât be silly, even Bernie is on the ice!â She nods towards the old man who must be at least eighty, sliding on the ice as if he did this all his life. He might have, you have no idea.
âItâs really not for me, Iââ
âJust try it! Come on!âÂ
She drops the skates by your feet and then slides away, leaving you no chance to protest.
Staring down at the skates, you can feel your stomach churning, but as you look up you see that literally everyone is on the ice, youâd look weird standing on the pier on your own.Â
âFuck,â you mumble under your breath as you give in and sitting down you start peeling your boots off your feet.Â
âYouâll break your ankle if you leave it that loose.â
You know the voice and it just adds to your stress even more. You see his black skates in front of you as youâre trying to lace your own up.
âHi Harry, so good to see you again,â you hiss through your teeth.Â
âTighten it or youâll fall.â
âIâll fall either way,â you mumble as you go back and pull the laces tighter. When youâre done you straighten up, but remain sitting on the end of the pier, anxiously string down at your feet. Harry doesnât speak, but you know he is still there, probably watching you, trying to figure out whatâs wrong with you, why youâre not just standing up and going at it like everyone else.Â
Your hands are holding onto the wood underneath you for dear life as you picture yourself finally moving, but you never get to actually acting.Â
âDo you need help standing up?â Harry speaks up at last and his voice is different this time. Itâs not as arrogant, maybe even concerned. Do you look that awful right now?
âN-No.â Your voice cracks and you hate that itâs him who sees you like this.Â
âDoesnât seem likeââ
âWould you stop being an asshole for a moment?â you snap at him and finally look up, eyes meeting his examining gaze. You have no idea what he sees in yours, but a few seconds later he breaks eye-contact, looks around as if he is hesitating before he sits beside you at last.
âYou donât have to skate if you donât want to.â
âTell that to your mother,â you mumble under your breath and it makes him laugh.
The sound of it is actually nice, surprising, but nice to hear something other than insults coming from his mouth.
âShe can be a bit too much, but sheâs just too enthusiastic.â You sit in silence for a bit before Harry turns to you. âYou really donât have to skate.â
âI want to take part, I just⊠I broke my wrist on the ice once when I was a kid and I havenât tried skating since then.â
You didnât plan on telling him much, but you felt like you had to explain why youâre being so dramatic. Part of you is expecting him to make fun of you for being scared of skating because of something that happened ages ago, but the arrogant comments never come.
Instead he stands up and when you look up at him he is holding a hand out to you.
âIâll help you. You wonât fall.â
Any other day youâd think he is plotting against you, that he would get you to trust him and the trip you the first chance he got, but not this time. He looks and sounds genuine and as you take his hand, you put way too much trust into them than you would have ever allowed yourself to.Â
You hold onto him with both hands and he keeps you steady as you finally attempt to push yourself up from the edge of the pier. Your knees wobble the moment your weight is on the blades and you instantly feel yourself losing balance, but Harryâs hands wrap around your arms and keep you from falling.
âItâs okay. Relax a bit, youâll find your balance.â He encourages you and itâs almost strange to hear him so supportive of anything youâre doing, but not breaking your neck keeps you too busy to care about his random act of kindness.Â
âTry to move forward.â
âI canât,â you protest without even trying.
âYou can, just relax.â
âDonât tell me to relax, itâs not gonna help me relax!â
âY/N, youâre gonna have a panic attack if you donât relax,â he warns you and you realize how fast youâre breathing and all your blood is being pumped into your head.Â
âI-I canât, I canât do this, Iââ
âY/N, look at me!â His hands snap to your shoulders and you grab onto his biceps as you look him in the eyes while your chest is still heaving. âIâve got you, okay? Youâre not going to fall. Iâm holding you, I promise.â
Focusing on his words you finally forget about your fears and instead, youâre now trying to figure out where this version of Harry came from and why he hid from you all along.Â
Youâre not one to trust people that easily, but just from this one promise he made, you let go of all your doubts and hesitation.Â
âOkay,â you breathe out. Harry nods and his hands slowly slide lower until they rest on your waist.Â
âYou knew how to skate, right? Before you broke your wrist.â You nod. âAlright, then it will all come back quickly.â
Thereâs a tiny smile hiding in the corners of his lips and your heart pitter-patters in your chest, but not because of the skating this time. His hands on you are not helping either, because for some reason, you feel heat radiating through the millions of layers youâre wearing where his hands are touching you.Â
What is happening?
âOkay, Iâll hold your hand and you just focus on moving forward, yeah?â
You nod and panic rises in your gut for a moment when his hands leave your shoulders, but then they instantly take your hands and you feel safe again.Â
Slowly you start moving, inching forward, your hands gripping Harryâs so tight, youâre afraid you might hurt him, but youâd never let go of him, not when youâre getting farther away from the pier.Â
âThatâs it, you are doing great,â he encourages. âTry to move a bit less rigidly.â
âEasy to say that,â you breathe out shakily.Â
It takes time to loosen up even the tiniest bit and not grip Harryâs hand as if you wanted to crush his bones. But as you slowly move around the ice, led by him, you finally get more and more familiar with the feeling of sliding on the ice.Â
âSee? Itâs not that bad,â he smiles when you stop for a short break after circling back to the pier.Â
âI still fear for my life, but itâs bearable now,â you nod and he just chuckles.
It looks good on him. His smile is warm and welcoming, itâs a shame it took you so long to see it. You definitely prefer this version of him.Â
âHoney, itâs so lovely to see you on the ice!â Anne slides over to you with ease, holding a cup of something warm, probably hot chocolate.Â
âWell, itâs not quite my element,â you let out an awkward chuckle.
âYouâre doing just fine. Besides, you just snatched up the best skater in town.â Winking, she bumps her hip against Harryâs. Your puzzled look urges her to elaborate. âHarry took over coaching the boysâ hockey team last year, the kids adore him!â
Instantly, you imagine Harry dealing with a bunch of cute kids, cheering on them, teaching them, making them laugh⊠The image is actually moving something inside you thatâs been buried somewhere deep for a while now.
âY/N, how are things coming together? Everyone is buzzing for the big opening!â Anne does a little dance that makes you laugh, but at the same time, something changes in Harry.Â
âUm, itâs going okay. Not how I planned, but Iâll manage.â
âIâm sure everything will fall into place perfectly. And if you need any help just let us know!â She turns to Harry, looking for validation that he is open to lending you a helping hand as well, but his reaction is not quite what she was expecting, probably.Â
âSorry, I gotta go now,â Harry mumbles quickly, his gaze obviously avoiding you or his mother and he skates away so fast you just blink after him.Â
âWhatâs gotten into this boy?â Anne huffs, but she lets go of it fast, starts chatting about something you donât quite catch, because you just stare after Harry, watching him slalom between the skaters so fast itâs almost aggressive.Â
And once again, you feel like youâre back where you began. He hates you and you have no idea what you did against him.Â
Theoretically, opening Nanaâs two weeks before Christmas was a great idea, because you imagined all the baked goods people would order for the holidays, you knew it would be a great kick start.
Realistically, it means that now you have to do the last touch ups in the harsh winter thatâs as cold as the North Pole. Or at least thatâs how you imagine the North Pole.
Itâs been non stop snowing for the past three days, the fresh, soft looking snow is now covering every bit of Erodaâs breathtaking view and though itâs very festive and nice to look at it from a warm room with something hot to drink, itâs not as relaxing when youâre still working on the bakery, doing the last bits of decorating and starting the first batches of baked goods, because in 24 hours, Nanaâs is officially opening its front door to the public.Â
Youâve been here since five in the morning, now itâs four in the afternoon but itâs almost entirely pitch dark outside so it feels like itâs nearing ten. The place is not a mess anymore, but the kitchen is, thereâs all kinds of dough everywhere, youâre doing everything you can now so thereâs less tomorrow, but even with all the work tonight youâll be here at five in the morning again tomorrow.Â
Itâs been hours since the last time you looked out the window, so it fully goes over your head how heavy the snowfall has gotten lately, chasing home every soul from the streets. While youâre covered in flour and keep muttering Nanaâs recipes to make sure everything is measured right, there is one more person out there who is still not home, battling the weather.Â
Harry has been going around town all day, helping out the elderly with either delivering groceries, or repairing the heating, whatever they needed a helping hand with. Heâs usually the person one calls in Eroda when something needs to be fixed.
The roads are now not quite safe to be driving around, but with his jeep heâll be able to get home just before it gets too bad. Or so the thought, but that is until he drives by the bakery and sees the lights on.
At first he keeps driving, telling himself itâs not his business. But the farther he gets the guiltier he feels and then he turns the car around.
Youâre too busy to hear the knocking at first, but then you hear it again and know it wasnât just in your head. Rushing out of the kitchen you stop in front of the door, because through the glass you make out Harry standing there, the snow already covering the top of his head as if heâs been out there for hours.Â
âItâs freezing out here, Y/N! Would be nice if you let me in!â he shouts through the glass and you finally snap out of your surprise, unlock the door and Harry practically runs inside.Â
âWhat are you doing here?â You watch him shake the snow off of him and finally turn towards you. For a moment you forget about how you parted ways at the skating, how cold he turned out of the blue after helping you.Â
âFunny, I wanted to ask you the same thing. Thereâs a snowstorm out there, you wonât be able to get home if you stay here!â
âAre you kidding me? Iâm opening tomorrow, I have a million things to finish!â
âSo youâre risking getting snowed in? Were you planning to sleep here or something?â
âMaybe! Yeah! I need to get a ton of dough ready and I still havenât put up the tinker lights and I need to clean upâŠâ
Harry stares at you with such a vivid look, you expect him to start screaming at you or something. But he just keeps staring until he finally breaks.
âOkay, where are the lights and where do you want them?â
âWhat?â
âYouâll spend the night here if you do everything alone. Iâll help and hopefully weâll be able to leave when itâs all done.â
Now itâs your turn to stare at him as he is looking around, searching for the lights to start working, but you canât really believe he is about to help you out when he could be home by now. On the other hand, you could really use the help and maybe finish earlier than midnight, so after pushing your surprise to the side you start instructing him. While Harry works on the lights, you return to the kitchen.Â
To test out the dough for the croissants, the one thing youâre the most nervous about because it used to be Nanaâs specialty, you decide to make a few and pop them in the oven while you do everything else.Â
Itâs hard to believe youâre finally at this point, so close to the opening, turning your biggest dream into reality. You wish Nana would be here with you today.
âLights are done.â
Harry interrupts your thoughts and you wipe your floury hands into your apron before following him out of the kitchen to see the work he did.
âOh my God, this looks perfect!â you gasp, seeing all the tinker lights run along the ceiling and walls, lighting up the place like magic.Â
Harry just nods, pressing his lips together, as if it was nothing.Â
âAnything else?â he asks.
âYeah, I have a few pictures I want to hang up and then itâs all doneââ The timer in the kitchen goes off, letting you know the croissants are done. âLet me take them out and then Iâll show you where I want them.â
You rush back to the kitchen and take the fresh, steaming croissants out of the oven, completely missing that Harry has followed you and he is now watching you curiously as you take the baked goods off the tray one by one.
âThat smells likeâŠâ he speaks up, but the words die on his tongue and you just smile, placing one onto a plate, holding it out for him.
âHere, try it.â
He hesitates, but takes the plate at last. Though itâs still hot and he should definitely wait a bit, itâs hard to resist, you know that. You watch him take a tentative bite and wait for his reaction as if he is about to tell you your future.Â
âSo? How is it?â
âItâs⊠itâs really⊠good. Really good.â
Itâs obvious he is having a hard time admitting you did something right, but his face says it all. You just donât understand why he looks kind of puzzled, but you think itâs just because he didnât expect it to be this good.Â
âI bet the croissants will be the bestsellers,â you chuckle as Harry takes bite after bite until itâs all gone. He devoured it so fast itâs incredible. You couldnât help but focus on his pink lips while he ate and those tiny sounds he let slip⊠they surely planted some thoughts into your head, thoughts you shouldnât be thinking of when it comes to Harry.
âCome on, Iâll show you the pictures.â Itâs your attempt to clear your mind.
You walk out and grab the box that holds all the framed pictures you want to hang on the walls, of course, all of them feature Nana.Â
âOkay, so I thought a few could go over here, and then on that wall as well, and these, I want them behind the counterâŠâ You start explaining your vision, but when you turn around you see that he is staring at a photo in shock. âHarry? Whatâs wrong?â
You step closer and see that itâs the photo that was taken on your tenth birthday. Youâre holding up one of the cupcakes Nana made just for you and she is standing behind you, with her hands on your shoulders. Itâs a fond memory, one of your favorite birthdays you ever had.Â
âOh, is it the dungarees?â you ask, pointing at your outfit. âI wasnât quite the fashion icon back then,â you chuckle.
âNo, itâsâ whoâs this?â he asks, pointing at Nana. You give him a puzzled look, because itâs not rocket science to figure out who the woman in the picture is.
âThatâs Nana, obviously.â
âBut as in⊠your grandma?â He finally looks up at you and his face is frantic, as if he is solving a lifelong mystery.Â
âOf course, Harry, what is goinââ
âY/N, Nana was your grandma?â
âYes!â you laugh in confusion. âOf course she was, thatâs why Iâm opening a bakery under her name with all her recipes she taught me!â
You canât read the look on Harryâs face as he puts the photo back into the box and then starts walking around with his hands on his hips.Â
âWhy do you look like you just learned you were adopted or something?â
âY/N, I didnât⊠I didnât know.â
âDidnât know what?â
âThat youâre⊠Nanaâs granddaughter. I had no clue.â He runs a hand through his hair and you try your best not to stare at how his bicep flexes in the movement.Â
âWhat? Harry, why else would I be opening a bakery, named Nanaâs right here, out of every possible place on Earth?â
âI donât know!â he admits, throwing his hands into the air. âThatâs why I⊠Okay, this is why I hated the idea so much. Because I knew Nana, I loved her! She was like⊠my grandma too! And I thought you just chose this name for fun!â
âAre you kidding me?â you huff in disbelief.
âI felt like you were ruining her memory, thatâs why I was so against this place. I had zero clue that you are actually⊠related to her.â
âOh my God, Harry!â Thereâs nothing else you can do other than just⊠laughing. This whole situation feels oddly comical, like something that only happens in movies.Â
âI know, Iâm sorry!â He exhales sharply and you truly see the regret on his face. âI was such a dick.â
âYes you were!â you laugh in agreement.Â
âIâm so sorry, Y/N.â
âWell, now at least I know why you were my biggest hater all along.â
âNot anymore!â He holds up his hands and finally breaks a smile that looks so fucking handsome, it makes you forget about everything in a second.Â
Turning to the side he stares out the window for a moment before looking back at you.
âThe snowing has stopped, letâs wrap things up and go home, alright? Big day tomorrow.â
You both go back to work, Harry finishes quite fast with the pictures so then he helps you clean up in the kitchen and you notice how obviously different the vibes are now. Thereâs no trace of his usual hostile behavior, in fact he is so open as he asks you about Nana and how the idea of the bakery came. Then he tells you about her as well, how he has known him for so long and after the passing of his stepdad Nana helped him through the toughest time of his life. Youâre surprised the two of you never met when you were visiting, but you believe in faith and it must be because it wasnât the right time.Â
Itâs almost ten by the time youâre locking up while Harry is scraping the snow off his jeep. Itâs rather eerie to see the town so empty, but itâs also pretty, the untouched snow covering every inch of the scenery.Â
âThanks for the help. And the drive home,â you say when he has parked in front of your house.Â
âIâll pick you up in the morning as well.â
âWhat? Thereâs no need, Harryââ
âJust accept the help,â he flashes you a crooked smile. âI have a lot to make up for.â
âWhat if I say youâre forgiven?â
âThen Iâll do it because I want to spend time with you.â
His answer comes so fast and honest, you canât mask the surprise on your face as you stare at each other in the dark car.
âUm, alright then. See you in the morning.â
âGood night. Y/N.â
You fumble with the belt and then climb out of the car, still feeling kind of giddy from his words. He waits for you to get to the front door and you wave at him before walking in. Through the closed door you hear the engine roar and he drives away, leaving you with quite a lot to digest.
Never in a million years did you imagine the opening of Nanaâs to be like this. The small bakery is full to the brim, there are people everywhere, you havenât stopped thanking everyone for the love and support and your heart leaps in your chest every time you hear someone talk about your beloved grandma. All the pastries are selling well, but as expected, the croissants are the biggest hit.Â
But itâs not just the opening that has you smiling ear to ear.
Harry did show up early in the morning and heâs been helping you out all day as if he was getting paid for his work. In the kitchen, at the counter or by the tables, heâs been a one person army and your hero. You couldnât have done it without him.Â
You have just a couple of seconds to breathe between two customers and you peek over the crowd, spotting him right away by the table his mom and her friends occupy. He just made them laugh and heâs basking in their attention as he rolls the sleeves of his shirt up, revealing his tattooed arms.Â
Fuck, he looks so good, itâs criminal.Â
Now that he is not an asshole to you anymore, itâs pretty hard not to notice everything youâve been trying to ignore about him. His charming dimples, his bouncy curls, the way he throws his head back when he laughs, how his nose moves when he talks, they was his hips sway when heâs walking⊠there is not one inch on the man you can critique.
The situation would be a lot worse if it was one-sided, but it appears that Harry is just as keen on being around you, always touching your lower back when he walks behind you, or brushing your arm to get your attention.Â
âIâm seriously writing you a paycheck when itâs over,â you tell him when he returns behind the counter grabbing some cinnamon rolls to bring to the ladies by the window.
âI thought that we were already over this, Y/N,â he smirks and you bite into your bottom lip as you turn back to the customer in front of you.Â
It kind of goes by in a blur, thereâs so much happening, youâre always on the move and before you could even process the events, the day is over and Nanaâs is closing for the first time. After the constant crowd, itâs weird to see the place empty again, but seeing that everything has sold, it finally settles in your mind: you did it.
As you turn the sign on the door your eyes slide over to the picture on the right. It was taken in Nanaâs kitchen, you were about six or seven, the two of you are photographed from behind as you stand on a stool, next to Nana at the counter while she is teaching you how to make bread. The memory still lives vividly in your mind even though itâs been over two decades.
âShe would be so proud of you.â
Turning around you find Harry behind you with a soft smile on his lips, his eyes on the photo at first, then they move to you and your heart skips a beat.
âYou think so?â
âI know so,â he chuckles.
âSo, I was serious. I owe you a paycheck after today.â
He rolls his eyes before arching an eyebrow at you.
âAnd I was serious when I said I donât want anything in return.â
âYouâve been here since six, Harry!â you huff out a laugh. âI would feel so bad if you just went home without anything.â
He stares at you for long moments and you start to think heâll just let you suffer with your guilt, but then he speaks up.
âGo on a date with me then.â
You suck on your breath as your eyes lock with his.
âWhat?â you whisper.
âGo on a date with me, Y/N. Will you?â
âI-If youâre still trying to make up forââ you start, but he cuts you off.
âIâm not. I told you, I want to spend time with you.â
You blink at him once, twice, as if youâre waiting for him to say it was just a joke, but he stands his ground with a serious look.
âAre you gonna leave me hanging?â he smirks, snapping you out of your haze.
âYesâI mean, yes to the date!â you shake your head, clearing up your answer.
âI was afraid you hated me too much to give me a chance,â he breathes out a shaky laugh.
âI never hated you, I was just confused. You were the one who hated me.â
âI couldnât hate you, Y/N. And believe me, I tried.â You both laugh at his words. âI was frustrated, because I wanted to hate you and this place so badly, but still⊠I was drawn to you.â
âYou were?â you ask, your voice barely more than just a whisper.
âYou have no idea how much,â he admits with a soft smile, stepping closer to you. âWhen we were skating, I totally forgot about everything and just wanted to hold your hand and help you. It was like a slap across my face when mum brought the opening up and I remembered I was supposed to hate you,â he admits with a chuckle and e inches even closer. âIâm glad I donât have to try to hate you anymore.â
âIâm glad too.â
He is right in front of you, his face only inches away from yours and you suck on your breath when he reaches up and takes your chin between his index finger and thumb, angling your head further up so your lips are now perfectly lined up with his.
His eyes move down to your mouth, then up to meet your gaze and even without words you know he is asking for your permission to kiss you. You push closer and he is quick to close the distance and press his lips against yours.
Youâd be lying if you said you never imagined what it would be like to kiss Harry. Because you did, several times. But nothing compares to having him wrapped around you, his lips so soft yet rough against yours at the same time as he kisses you over and over again while youâre fisting the collar of his shirt so tight your fingers are turning white.Â
Maybe you kiss for hours, or maybe itâs just minutes, you have no clue, but when he finally pulls back, resting his forehead against yours, you just know your life is about to turn upside down.
âChanged my mind,â he speaks up at last.
âHuh?â
âAbout the payment.â
His words sink in slowly and your eyebrows rise.
âOh.â Harry laughs at your reaction.
âI want my payment in kisses,â he then says with the cheesiest smile youâve ever seen on his handsome face.
âThat could be arranged,â you breathe out when you finally get what he was talking about and grabbing the back of his neck you pull him in for another one.Â
And another one.
And some more.
And just like that Nana somehow brought another wonderful thing into your life, even though she is not here anymore.

I know people have posted about this before but it honestly it striking how much the boys do not default to violence as a way of solving problems. They're detectives in the classic sense - they're looking for clues and unravelling mysteries, and most of the time they can handle things with subtlety instead of force. It's not off the table, but it's very much an option of last resort.
The first time we meet them they're dealing with a ghost that is actively trying to kill them, and they're not fighting, they're running. While trying to figure out what happened so that they can go back in with a better strategy. Even when the cursed ghost catches up with them, Charles hits it exactly once, to get enough breathing space that they can get back to the office and get the resources they need to break the curse. Their plan with Becky was to slip in and out while Esther was distracted - they only ended up in a fight because hauling Edwin and Becky out of the magical void took longer than expected.
And as much as Charles comments in Ep. 3 about puzzle solving being "Edwin's way" and hitting things with a cricket bat being his, that absolutely goes for him as well. In the flashbacks where he confronts his friends, he pulls them off and puts himself between them and the kid they're beating up - he doesn't continue the fight once the victim is safe. In the Devlin house he's visible shaken and upset from the first round of the cycle, but it's not until they've witnessed the murder several times and Edwin's plan to break the loop has failed and he's confronting the possibility that there may not be another option that he tries to fight Devlin directly. Most of what he does with his cricket bat is pull it out and plant himself between Edwin and whatever he's decided is a threat.
I suspect that's part of why Edwin was so rattled by the first encounter with the Night Nurse - not because it was wrong or unjustified, but because it's not normal for Charles to hit first.
And these are not normal circumstances! Charles has been pushed pretty hard at this point, and has just been assaulted in a way that Edwin probably isn't fully cognizant of, and was acting urgently to stop the Night Nurse from doing the same thing to Edwin. I think his reaction was absolutely justified, and possibly necessary. And I think Edwin's response, whether it was intended that way or not, did read as condemnation - at least to Charles who is already beating himself up for not being able to protect the people he loves and doubting whether he's a safe, trustworthy person.
But I also think it's notable that the next time he deals with the Night Nurse - after he's processed some of his feelings of anger and helplessness, after he's been reassured that he's still the best person Edwin knows - he takes a different tack. She's still imminently threatening to split them up and send Edwin to hell, which is probably Charles' worst nightmare. But this time he turns to negotiation, to appealing to her sense of justice, to looking for a loophole that could let them stay together. He's back to trying to solve problems by working through them.
And in fairness, the fact that she came back after being eaten by Angie is also a pretty strong indication that trying to fight her wouldn't have worked. But I do think it says something about Charles' attitude to the world that despite describing himself as "the brawn" and thinking of himself as the fighter between him and Edwin, his reflex is still to problem solve first, to use force defensively and only when necessary. That yes, he's angry and justly so, but unlike his father, or the boys who killed him, he doesn't choose to turn that into an excuse to hurt people. That his use of force is judicious and careful and is always, always about preventing harm.
#DeadBoyDetectives#Charles Rowland#Edwin Payne#Character analysis#Dead Boy Detectives#DBDA#I do think that first encounter with the Night Nurse#is one of those places where Edwin's baseline inability to phrase things tactfully really backfired#and that asking if Charles was alright or thanking him for the rescue would've been a more appropriate response#but I also think that he intended a lot less judgment than Charles read into it#Because the pileup of everything that Charles is dealing with right now has him *expecting* someone to start hitting him#fatal rambles

a/n: this is my first ever time posting any writing of mine on here so i hope you all enjoy, iâm also going to be posting this to ao3 if you guys ever read stuff on there :) iâm currently experiencing terrifier 3 brain rot especially because of sienna so i need to write this to get it out of my system cus DAMN.
i've tried to make the reader's character not super specfiic as to be as inclusive as possible - the only things described physically is that the reader has female anatomy
The steps that led up towards Siennaâs bedroom looked a little menacing as you stood at their bottom. It felt like you were about to enter a whole other private world you previously had never had access to. The situation was strange, not strange in nature, but because of the fact that although you and the other girl had been friends for months, you still had yet to step foot inside her bedroom.
You had been to her house before, especially when Allie and Brooke wanted to hang out too but had never been in her bedroom. The upstairs of her house was uncharted territory.
But it was normal right? It was completely normal, you were just a friend visiting another friendâs house, about to enter their bedroom so the two of you could get ready for a Halloween party. Every teen movie had this exact moment of calm where the characters could have dialogue and bond a little before moving onto the last big final act.
Sienna wasnât just your friend though, to you she was something more. You didnât want to just be her friend.
You had known she was special ever since she had waved you over one near summer afternoon to her lunch table and had complimented you on the iron-on patches that were littered across your jacket. The two young women sitting with her had looked a little confused when she started rambling on about Daft Punk and French Police (the band, not the law enforcement), but you had understood.
Like a puzzle, you two had fit perfectly together, two pieces clicking into place.
At first the fluttery feeling that bombarded your stomach at the thought of her was mistaken as relief. Platonic affection, and slightly pathetic gratitude that finally you didnât have to sit alone at lunch. That you would now have some people you actually knew.
But once the four of you had begun to hang out, even though you and Allie got close fast, and Brooke at least tolerated your presence, your ever-growing bond with Sienna was different.
That bond, the thing you had labelled as different, shouldâve made it easy for you to climb the stairs and waltz into the bedroom like it was yours. Instead, it had your feet glued to the floor. Barbara, Siennaâs mother and the one who had let you in, finally noticed your hesitation.
The woman didnât seem to find it strange, simply chuckling and gesturing for you to go up. âShe is expecting you honey, donât worry.â
Simply giving her a smile to try and seem relaxed only aided in making you look more nauseous. And to save yourself further embarrassment in the company of your new friendâs mom, you went upstairs. A few of the room doors were opened, but instantly looking within the second one you knew it was Siennaâs.
The room faintly glowed with dim lamp light, and the walls were covered in posters and pieces of art that were sure to have been done by the brunette herself. Every time you had the pleasure of being shown something she had created it always managed to take your breath away. You yourself werenât exactly terrible when it came to a pencil and pad, but your talent laid more in academics than anything truly creative.
Sienna had actually offered to teach you how to draw one evening after you had caught a glimpse of her notepad; design sketches for costumes and makeup looks covering the pages. The temptation of spending more time with her outside of classes and lunch break had won you over. So far, with her help, you now knew how to draw something reminiscent of a detailed cat. Nothing Picasso-like, but it was a start.
One of the things on her wall that caught your eye was a neon white LED light in the shape of a skull. It showcased there was something a little morbid about the beauty of Siennaâs aesthetic too. Both of you had bonded over your love for all things morbid and you regularly had horror movie nights â sometimes with Allie and Brooke. Most of the time it was just the two of you though, the way you preferred it.
âHeyâ the young woman had noticed you standing in the doorway and got off the bed to greet you.
Holy. Shit.
She had messaged you pictures of the costume she had created throughout the months, showing you the tiresome but fulfilling process of how it came to be. But none of them had been of her actually wearing it. You subtly tried to grab onto the doorframe, so you didnât fall over flat on your face.
The Valkyrie armour your friend had adorned was a shiny bronze, and the intricate details of everything needed a few looks to really sink in. It wasnât only the outfit itself that was making your heart palpitate; half of her hair was down, and the other half was sorted neatly into pretty braids.
The realisation she had actually made all this herself added another extra reason to your speechlessness â the main fact being though that she looked like something out of a fantasy nerdâs wet dream. But in a good way, definitely in a good way.
âWowâŠâ was all you could say, making her laugh and spin around so you could see the back of her costume. The two majestic wings sprouting out of her back seemed ironic then as you were almost sure she was an angel.
âWhatâd you think?â Sienna asked, turning back around so she could gauge your reaction. Not that there was much to analyse there though, you were still silent â but thankfully had managed to close your mouth. Running a hand through your hair you tried to find the words to express how ethereal she looked.
âItâs great, really great.â Way to go, loser.
Her face dropped just a little, did she think you were being insincere because your response was so short? Quite the opposite. You quickly scrambled to try and rectify your statement.
âNo, like I really mean it. I-I mean the shoulder piece, the wings, itâs so detailed and pretty. And your makeup, I mean wow you look soâŠsparkly!â Although what you had just said embarrassed you even further, Siennaâs disappointed expression had been replaced with fondness and amusement.
âYeah?â the cosplayer murmured, turning back to the mirror, and admiring herself for another moment. The truth was, she was extremely proud of how it had turned out, and your approval had meant a lot to her especially considering her motherâs likely disapproval when she saw what sheâd be going out in. The weight of your opinion to Sienna was more than what was standard or acceptable for the average friend, even if she couldn't admit that.
You nodded. âYeah.â
âI canât wait to see your costumeâ she smiled, looking down at the backpack you had put down on the floor. The reality was setting in that youâd have to show her your costume.
Seriously, compared to Siennaâs costume, everyone elseâs would be very much underwhelming â it was mean of her to assume everyone just was as talented as she was. The chic vampire look you were about to try to achieve would definitely not live up to standard, but you couldnât spend the entire evening in her bedroom doorway.
âCan I get changed in your bathroom?â
Siennaâs head tilted a little in confusion at that, but realised you werenât comfortable with getting undressed in front of her, so she smiled and said: âSure, itâs the first door when you turn right, youâll easily find it.â
Running a hand down your crisp shirt to smooth it out, you glanced at yourself in the mirror - so far you just looked a bit like a fancy Victorian aristocrat. It was agreed that the girl in the other room would help you do the special effects (and general) makeup for your costume, and you hoped that it would help elevate it to be a little more Halloweenesque.
No doubt your other two friends were doing the exact same thing right now, Allie putting a lot more effort into her costume than Brooke though.
âYou ready for your makeover, Dracula?!â Sienna shouted from the other room, making you almost drop the comb you had brought with you into the sink (slicking back your hair was a harder affair than first thought).
You cleared your throat before replying. âUmm yeah hang on!â Grabbing what sheâd need to transform you into a citizen of Transylvania, you walked back into the bedroom.
Standing in front of the bed, you gave her an awkward half sort of twirl. It made your cape swish around at least.
Sienna bit her lip as she tried not to laugh. âWow, umm, itâs actually quite cool. I think the makeup will give it that extra oomph though, canât have a vampire without fangs.â Both of you looked towards the package that contained the fake fangs. Also splayed out on the bed was a collection of makeup: eyeshadow palettes, mascaras, lip gloss, concealer â all Siennaâs, and some fake blood, glittery fake blood. You supposed that was where the chic part of your costume came in.
The armoured girl looked at you for a moment for patting a space on the bed, silently asking you to sit down so she could get started. You complied a little too quickly, feeling almost lightheaded by being in her presence and by being so close.
âFangs or makeup first?â
You pointed to the fake, glue-on fangs a little apprehensively, hoping the glue wouldnât fuck up your teeth.
Sienna worked quickly and efficiently, like how she did most things â you knew this because you spent admittedly quite a lot of time looking at her when she was in the middle of doing something. Brooke sometimes teased you for it, but you were pretty confident you had the others convinced your admiration for the artist was purely platonic.
âOpen your mouthâ the brunette instructed, you shifted on the bed a little and did as you were told. Her fingers tingled as she touched your face, tilting your head up so she could press on one of the fake fangs to your tooth, holding it until the glue stuck.
Whilst it wasnât exactly what you had hoped for when you sometimes wished for her fingers in your mouth, it felt adrenaline-inducing all the same. You couldnât take your eyes away from her face, even though you knew it was rude to stare, and even though you were almost certain she was aware of your staring. Siennaâs outfit and makeup was breathtaking, a homage to just how talented she was â how beautiful she was too.
The idea of her as some sort of mystic Valkyrie warrior fit, it fit perfectly and made you want to faint every time you looked at her.
âOkay, second and last one, just stay still for a moment.â The brunette applied a tiny dab of prosthetics glue to the end of the other vampire tooth before gesturing for you to open your mouth again. You did so and glanced away as she held the fake fang in place, trying not to acknowledge how flush your face was getting.
After they had been applied, and your teeth really did resemble ones of a bloodsucking creature of the night, Sienna moved on to doing your makeup.
The close proximity she had to your face was beginning to make you feel a little sweaty. The first step she took for your transformation was making you look a little more pale than usual, sickly. Not wanting to make it too obvious or campy by using face paint she instead used foundation, concealer and powder a few shades lighter than your natural skin colour.
Next came the eye makeup, Sienna dabbed very small amounts of what seemed to be eye shadow under your eyes to give the appearance of dark circles. Not that she needed much help with that, you were a bit of an insomniac.
The eyeshadow she used around your eyes was black and glittery, drawing attention to your irises. It felt weird trying not to look at the other girl when she was staring so intensely into (or rather, around) your eyes. The same thing happened when she was doing your lip gloss to quote unquote âdraw attention to your mouthâ and subsequently, your fangs â you thought she might have been staring a little too hard.
And finally, the fake blood. Sienna had dipped the end of a very fine makeup brush in the fake crimson, tickling you slightly as she dabbed your lower lip with it. For a little extra effect, she let some run down your chin, staring a little intensely as some of it ran down your neck a little as your head was tilted back.
Trying not to take the moment as more than it was, and trying to calm your racing heart, you got off the bed to admire your friendâs handiwork in the mirror.
âHoly shitâ you laughed, looking at your face from different angles. You could pass as Dracula himself if it wasnât for the glitter in the fake blood Sienna had running down your chin. Unless he was a very campy Dracula.
âSparkly Draculaâ she commented, looking a little distracted as she assumably admired your costume. You turned around back to her and shot her a genuine smile.
âI love it, thank you.â
The girl shrugged a little and tried to brush the compliment off, but you could tell she was secretly happy to be praised. Sienna always acted humble and dismissive whenever someone complimented her artistry, but you could tell it made her feel good. She, in your opinion, should have been used to compliments by then as everything she touched turned to metaphorical gold, Halloween costumes were no different.
âRight come onâ she followed you in getting off the bed and grabbing her phone as the two of you were already running late. âIf weâre not there soon weâll miss all the fun.â A part of you wanted to ask what was fun about a bunch of gross sweaty teenagers getting drunk and rubbing up on each other on a dance floor.
Youâd much rather just spend the evening in her bedroom watching cheesy 80âs slasher movies and eating popcorn. But you could tell Sienna was looking forward to it, seeing it as an opportunity to blow off some steam, and held your tongue. The things you did for love.
The floor under your feet vibrated with music as the two of you tried to weave your way through the crowd to where Allie and Brooke were. You, thankfully, saw no sign of Brookeâs boyfriend (small mercies). Finally reaching the two of them, you all got a chance to admire each otherâs outfits.
Neither of their costumes were as well-crafted (or as hot) as Siennaâs but both looked cute, passable for Halloween. Allie thought the glitter in your fake blood added a nice touch.
âWhat are you? A gay Dracula?â Brooke snorted, taking another swig of whatever was in her cup. Without knowing any better, and going by her facial expression, it looked like she was drinking straight up gasoline. At her best friendâs remark Sienna tried not to roll her eyes.
âLeave them alone, I think they look great.â
Brooke gave her a look.
âWhat?â
The blonde smirked, simply shaking her head as she looked around. âNothing.â The slightly awkward moment was broken when the song changed to a favourite and Allie pulled all of you to the middle of the dance floor. A thing you had yet to mention to them was that you didnât dance, not well at least. The idea of embarrassing yourself in front of Sienna made you want to dig a hole in the ground to crawl into.
âCome onâ Sienna goaded you. Suddenly it seemed like the entire room faded away as she grabbed you by the hips and made you dance with her. Allie and Brooke and everyone else suddenly didnât exist. The strobe lights on the ceiling made the glitter paint on Siennaâs face sparkle, her eyes equally so.
It felt like looking into a galaxy. Your heart was about to jump into your throat.
Perhaps she thought you looked silly almost frozen in the middle of the dancefloor as she started to laugh, head tilted back like an amused goddess. After a little bit of encouragement, and after the fear of looking like a socially awkward freak in front of the other girl took over, you started to dance with her. Properly this time.
A part of you didnât want to just let go, you were hyperaware of the people all around the two of you. That was the way it had always been for you, so focused on if others were looking at you, and if they were, what they were thinking.
Surely Siennaâs carefreeness had started to rub off on you, as right then you were so tired of caring what others thought, so tired of feeling a knot in your stomach.
Everyone except Brooke and Allie seemed too drunk to even notice anything. Why did it even matter?
The two friends were near but kept their distance, almost as if they wanted to watch you and Sienna rather than dance themselves.
âDo you want a drink?â Siennaâs voice cut over the loud bass. Maybe liquid courage really was a thing. You nodded, not trusting yourself to speak at that moment in time. The brunette simply grabbed your hand, goading you to spin her around a final time before she whisked off towards one of the refreshment tables; a pair of angel wings the only thing you could spot of her in the crowded room.
A total of about five seconds passed before someone had grabbed your arm, turning you around so you could face them. It was Allie, who was sporting a grin like the Cheshire cat. Immediately you felt defensive, the look Brooke was giving you too increasing it tenfold.
âWhat?â you frowned, slightly backing away as you wrestled out of Allieâs grip. She didnât say anything herself, instead looking at Brooke to voice their joint thoughts â that was how it usually went.
The blonde took a sip of her vodka and tonic through a straw as she took a quick glance to where you assumed Sienna was. âShe looks hot in her costume, doesnât she?â
Arms crossed tightly over your chest, a picture of insecurity, you shot back: âSorry?â It wasnât even jealousy that caused the reaction, you were just overwhelmed with everything that was happening.
âSienna looks hot in her costume, doesnât she?â Brooke repeated, voice dripping with patronisation. Sometimes it felt like she thought your brain processed things twice as slow as the average persons. Currently it was as you were being to suspect what they were implying.
Trying to control your tone and keep your reaction impartial, you shrugged. âYeah, I guess so, itâs pretty cool.â
Allie giggled. âYou guess so? Please, me and Brooke have been watching you stare at her all night.â
Shit, okay, the suspicion had been right. Both of them had caught onto exactly how you felt. Fear was like a punch to your stomach, making you feel a little nauseous. âPlease donât say anythingâ was the only sentence you could come up with.
The two girlsâ eyes widened, realising they had finally just got conformation on the thing they were only carelessly teasing you about. In reality, they had no more than an inkling towards how you really felt about Sienna. Brooke then laughed. âShit, dude, I only like kinda suspected it but wow we were right!â
The seconds passed by like an eternity as the tension in the atmosphere couldâve been cut with a knife.
You could only breathe a sigh of relief when Allie reassured you: âI wonât say anything to her I promise,â then sending a very stern look to the definitely tipsy blonde next to her, âneither of us will.â She punctuated the word âneitherâ particularly harsh â both of you knew gossip was as crucial to Brookeâs survival as oxygen was.
As if reading your minds, the young woman in question put her hands up almost in surrender. âYes, yes fine, I wonât tell her anything.â Her expression shifted. âHowever, Iâm not going to lie and say if you continue the way you are that sheâs never gonna put the pieces together. That is if she hasnât already.â Brooke slightly nudged you on the arm, trying to drive her point home as gently as possible.
Were you really that obvious?
Before you could ask her to elaborate on how your very intense crush on Miles Countyâs resident Valkyrie warrior was obvious or defend your honour (and the semblance of pride you had left), Sienna glided up next to you in a flurry of bronze armour and gorgeous hair.
Pressing a red solo cup into your hand, she raised an eyebrow as she looked around at the three of you standing static in amongst the moving crowd.
âWhatâs up guys?â
Allie, Brooke, and you all equally detested the fact sometimes that your friend was so able to read the room. Siennaâs emotional intelligence was normally something that set off butterflies in your stomach, but currently it made you want to throw your drink all over someone, Brooke seemed the most appealing option currently and make a dash to the nearest exit.
âWeâre just talking about who weâve seen here tonight so farâ the lie came quickly and smoothly from Allieâs lips, leading you to internally note that she might have been less innocent than you gave her credit for.
You and Brooke nodded enthusiastically, as if it didnât make the whole scene look even more weird. The two of you were like water and oil, when you got along something was usually up. Simply brushing it off as you guys not wanting to divulge something to her, Sienna took a swig of her drink and changed the subject.
âWhereâs the boyfriend?â she asked Brooke. The grimace on her face indicated she disliked the guy as much as you and Allie did.
The blonde shrugged with a roll of her eyes. âProbably dancing up on some bimbo somewhere, I donât know, I donât keep him on a leash.â
Allie snorted. âYou should.â
You and Sienna tried not to laugh, shooting each other a look as Brooke visibly got pissed off. âYeah whatever.â Without even sending a glance to the rest of you she walked away â clearly the comment had struck a nerve, and she wanted to find Jeff to make sure he wasnât actually dancing with someone else.
Allie watched her go with an expression a mix of guilt and irritation. âShe can never just be pleasant.â
âDuh, itâs Brookeâ Sienna laughed, once again shooting you a look. This time you didnât know what it meant, it seemed she was sneaking glances at you just for the sake of it now. âMaybe you should go check on her? She was drinking quite a lot.â There, that was it, what made Sienna special. Despite your friend being a bitch to you all moments ago, the brunette still had her best interests in mind.
Allie bit her lip and you could tell internally she was battling between being petty and putting that aside to be a good friend. The other side won out, as it usually did where you guys were concerned. âFine, Iâll go find her.â
At first glance it seemed that Brooke couldnât have gone far, but Allieâs small form soon was swallowed by the ever-growing crowd.
âYou, okay?â Sienna asked you as you looked around the room. She knew you werenât the biggest fan of large crowds, or people in general rather.
âYeah, Iâm good.â Taking a deep breath you finally took initiative for once and extended your free hand. Your friend didnât need to ask what you wanted, and grabbed it, leading you both to a less crowded area of the dance floor.
One drink turned into two and soon the both of you were tipsy, constantly bumping into each other as you danced. Sienna didnât seem to care, she looked as if she was having a really good time. That realisation sent warmth straight down to your toes, the fact she found pleasure in your company was a miracle in your opinion.
The time you spent dancing together felt like hours as you grew increasingly tired, but you were slowly starting to sober up. Sienna seemed to be sobering up too. Soon she was grabbing your arm and pulling you out of the crowd, and down a deserted hallway that was much further into the building than everyone else was. She double checked no one was around before levelling you with a serious expression.
âI kinda need some advice.â
Instantly you were on high alert, worried that something had gone wrong throughout the evening. So instead of exposing yourself as the anxious freak you were, you tried to act irritated.
âWhat about? Arenât we supposed to be having fun right now?â You werenât completely lying; the middle of a party wasnât exactly the best opportunity to pull someone aside for what seemed like a serious talk. But Sienna looked as if something was troubling her, and you didnât want to push her away.
âNo, no we are, I am I promise. But I need to ask you something.â
Had you done something wrong? A million scenarios ran through your mind, most of them ending with you heartbroken and without her in your life anymore. Maybe if you acted more annoyed, she wouldnât be able to see how scared you were about what she was going to ask.
âUgh fine but make it quick I wanna get another drink.â The last thing you wanted in the world was more alcohol, but you needed to make it seem believable.
You had rarely seen Sienna so nervous. âUmm letâs say hypothetically someone is here, and I really like them.â It felt like a fist had taken a hold of your heart and was squeezing so hard you couldnât breathe, but she continued talking. âAnd Iâm pretty sure they like me too, and I really want to kiss them, but I donât know how to go about it.â
Oh, you shouldâve known. How could someone like her ever feel anything for someone like you?
âWhat?â
Immediately she looked guilty, perhaps she had realised from the surely heartbroken look on your face that your affections regarding her were more than just friendly. âLook itâs fine we donât have to talk about it, we can just go get more drinks- â, she tried to backtrack, but you knew if she didnât explain fully, youâd be (even more of) a mess for the entire night.
âNo, its fine Iâm justâŠsurprised thatâs all⊠who is it? if I can ask?â
This was going to hurt. Was it Daniel, the artsy kid who she always joked around with in history class? Or maybe Davonte, one of the guys you knew she had grown up with. Truthfully the options were endless, Sienna was the type of person that you just couldnât dislike. It didnât help that she was stunningly beautiful on top of that.
What she said next wasnât particularly weird but wasnât what you had expected. Usually, friends would be all about telling each other who they liked, she seemed hesitant to divulge that particular piece of information. Didnât she trust you? âOh um, would your advice be different depending on the person?â
ââŠProbably.â You knew the only true advice you wanted to give to her on the topic of kissing someone else was: please donât. But the bitter truth overcame you that you two werenât together. She saw you as a friend and nothing more. You had no right to control Siennaâs life that way.
âOkay what about just in general?â
Shrugging, you tried to give the most impartial advice you could muster up. Inside though all you wanted to do was drive home and go to bed â you could wallow in self-pity tomorrow. You just hoped she wouldnât kiss this guy in front of you.
âWell, um, I donât know⊠I guess just ask them if theyâre drunk, because consent is important, and if theyâre not and they seem into you just go for it you know.â
âRight. Okay.â Sienna took a deep breath and bit her lip. The silence between you began to grow strange, why was she acting so weird? You were about to question why she was acting so off before she blurted out: âAre you drunk?â
Confusion washed over you, you assumed both of you were basically sober now â neither of you were lightweights. And also, you practically had to be as you were supposed to be the one driving you and her home. âNo, not really, Iâve kinda sobered up basically. Why are- â
Suddenly her lips were on yours.
Oh.
Your teeth nearly bumped together with the force of it as she crowded you against the wall, before gaining composure and pulling away. The air felt warmer somehow as you both caught your breath. Then you moved forward, and that time were the one to initiate the kiss, a lot more softly. Her lips were tacky from her lipstick and your lip gloss, but you didnât care.
She tasted like mint, the type of mint flavour youâd expect from chewing gum. It was odd that you could probably guess now that she used spearmint toothpaste.
When you both pulled away again, she finally spoke. âYouâre such a dumbass for thinking I wanted to kiss someone else you know, my feelings for you werenât exactly a secret.â
Her feelings for you?
âOh.â
Sienna bit her lip to stop herself from laughing. âDid you not know?â You shook your head. âBrooke and Allie have been teasing me about it nonstop for weeks I swear.â They knew, and suddenly you felt quite stupid for believing they were as clueless as they acted.
âAssholesâ you could only laugh. You were once again cut off when Sienna grabbed you by the hips and pulled you into for a deeper kiss. Clearly, she had been holding this back for a while and you would have been lying if you said it didnât make you feel weak in the knees to have her be so rough with you.
The way you were being pressed against the wall would most likely leave you with a bruised spine later, but you couldnât feel anything in that moment except for Siennaâs warm hands moving under your shirt to feel your bare skin, and her tongue eager and skilled against your own.
The sensation was almost dizzying as she moved away from your lips to kiss down your jaw, leaving a trail of lipstick and fake blood across your face. You honestly didnât care if anyone could see the both of you, and if you looked ridiculous covered in the proof of your current make out session.
For once in your life, you didnât care about playing it safe, doing what seemed like the most socially acceptable option â all you were focused on was how it felt.
Siennaâs breath was warm against you as she took a moment to try and compose herself, before failing to and losing it completely as she began to bite and suck bruises down your neck.
Maybe she shouldâve gone as the vampire instead as you were sure those marks would stay for a good couple of weeks. But it made you hot to think that days from now you could have a physical reminder of what was currently happening. Proof that this wasnât just another particularly adventurous wet dream involving your newest yet closest friend.
Sienna had always seemed so gentle in every way, but now she was gripping your hips so hard it started to hurt. Shit, she really did have a different side to her. It made another bolt of heat go straight between your legs. Your underwear was already soaked and none of this was helping.
Pulling away she said: âCan I touch you?â and the question made your brain short circuit for a moment. You had no idea she had even wanted to kiss you until moments ago, and now she was basically saying she wanted you that way. If in any other situation or with any other person, you probably wouldâve told your friend that this was moving way too fast â but oddly with Sienna, it just felt right.
Insecurities werenât a foreign concept to you, quite the opposite actually, but the area was pretty dark and you trusted her enough to go further.
So, despite your heart basically beating out of your chest, you nodded. âYeah.â
âYou sure?â her eyebrow was raised, clearly not pegging you as the type who was down for doing anything affectionate let alone intimate basically in public. There wasnât anyone around, and probably wouldnât be for a good while, but there was always the risk of getting caught. You suspected Sienna found it exciting, whereas you felt a little paranoid but were going along with it anyway because she was clearly really into it.
And if, God forbid, someone was going to walk past or spot you guys, they wouldnât see much. You were firmly set on keeping most, if not all, of your clothes on, even if you were in Siennaâs bedroom you would probably consider that option too.
âSienna please, just, yeah.â
Clearly that was good enough of an answer for her as her hands were sliding up slowly under your shirt. âWhat about here?â she asked, meaning your chest.
Consent was the most important thing, and you found it sweet she was so adamant on making sure you were comfortable, but if she didnât touch you there or even lower soon you thought youâd genuinely explode from pent up tension.
Nodding, you pushed yourself forward and let out a sigh as her hands finally met your breasts. Surprisingly, her hands werenât cold, and it was satisfying to feel her one of the places you needed it most. You were still wearing a bra, but it didnât even matter if you had kept your shirt on or not as Sienna was reaching around behind you to unhook your bra with one hand anyway.
It was a little awkward to get it fully off and out of your shirt but once you had Sienna was all too ready to feel your bare tits. You tried not to gasp as she squeezed them softly, before pinching one of your nipples and laughing when you squirmed (very much not out of discomfort, but something else).
âAre you sensitive?â she teased, laughing as you tried to send her your best imitation of an annoyed look. âCan I use my mouth?â
âPlease justâŠâ the request was too embarrassing to ask out loud, but you could see that Sienna liked watching you squirm. She wasnât going to budge until you admitted what you wanted. âYes, please.â You were repeating yourself now, too much of a mess to really consider how to word anything.
She unbuttoned your shirt just enough to get access to your breasts and you immediately shivered as the rush of cold air that hit your chest. âYouâre going to be the death of me I swearâ she laughed as she leant down as low as possible to take one of your nipples into her mouth.
âShitâ the curse was out of your mouth before you could stop it. Siennaâs mouth was so warm and felt so good already. When it came down to the actual business of physically getting you off, you knew you wouldnât last long. Even her just playing with your tits had you feeling like putty in her hands.
The girl let out a moan as she stopped sucking to kiss all over your chest and neck, nipping you here and there with her teeth to make you shudder. Just when you thought you couldnât take it any longer, she stood up fully and asked if she could unzip your suit slacks.
âFuck, okayâ you tried to catch your breath, air coming out in puffs as you tried to steady yourself.
The effort proved futile as she moved forward and kissed you with an open mouth yet again, pulling at your bottom lip periodically with her teeth to drive you just that little more insane. Damn, she really did like biting huh? You made a note of that for future purposes, although the âfutureâ in question was most likely less than hours away.
Siennaâs hands moved quickly at your belt, unlooping it before pulling it off and throwing it carelessly on the ground. Next was the zip of your slacks and the top button, once opened she slid her hand swiftly down into the front of your suit trousers. No time to waste, you supposed, someone could walk past any minute.
Besides, her urgency was incredibly sexy. It was like she needed you as much as she wanted you. At first, she began to touch you over your underwear, marvelling at how wet you were.
âShit, youâre so wet, all of this is because of me?â
âYeahâ your voice was shaky. The understatement of the century.
She groaned as if your words had physically done something to her, and you swallowed hard. âJesus I canât believe weâve waited until now to do this; I couldâve had you like this for me so long agoâ she sounded frustrated. You wanted to admit that you shared the same sentiment, that ever since you had first saw her you had wanted to kiss her until the both of you had passed out from lack of oxygen.
You were going to agree, say âme tooâ or even just kiss her again, but suddenly her fingers were putting pressure right on your clit. It felt just as good through your underwear due to the friction and just how worked up you already were.
She seemed to be observing your face as she added more pressure and then took it away again over and over, starting to rub little circles slowly.
âYou like that?â Sienna moaned, then she needily sighed as you pushed off the wall slightly to push your hips further towards her. âHang on babyâ she kissed you and moved her hand away, making you groan into the kiss a little annoyed she was such a tease.
The frustration didnât last long as this time she was moving her hand back into the front of your slacks, but also inside your panties this time too. Her face was now buried into your neck, kissing, and licking at the bruised skin there, so you could feel when she gasped as she was met with the feeling of your bare wet pussy against her fingers.
âHoly fuckâ Sienna sounded almost winded as she pulled her mouth away from your throat, like she was just as worked up from this teasing as you were. âCan I put them inside?â she asked.
âYes.â and suddenly her index finger was pushing inside you, eager and warm walls practically sucking her in. Your whole body felt electric, and you moaned as she added another digit alongside her index finger â her middle finger this time, stretching and filling you perfectly.
There was a theory that artists tended to be more dexterous with their fingers, and you were starting to believe this was true as the brunette easily found your g spot. Kissing you hard to muffle the sound of your moans, she pressed her fingers up against it again and again. Her thumb moved up to your clit and began to rub circles and in all honesty, you thought the noise you were making (even when muffled) would attract the attention of the rest of the party rooms away.
Siennaâs entire hand was soaked now, some of your arousal dripping down her wrist. The noises being produced were so obscene that youâd feel shameful if you werenât currently on cloud nine. You were so close, hands gripping onto the sides of her arms as you needed to hold onto something to stop yourself from shaking so much.
It was also a good thing she had you pressed so harshly against the wall as now your knees were Jello. She could tell from how your cunt was tightening around her fingers that you were close to cumming and, to her credit, thought she had teased you enough â so doubled down on her efforts.
The tension inside of you finally snapped and you came with a muffled half moan, half scream as you absolutely drenched her fingers (shit, you had no idea you could even cum that much). Sienna kept on kissing you, taking her thumb off your clit but still keeping her fingers moving inside of you as to not overstimulate you too much as you rode out your orgasm.
She broke the kiss, and you gasped for breath, both from lack of sufficient air and how overwhelmed you were with pleasure. The aftershocks made you clench a little around her fingers every few moments and she watched in fascination as your chest rose and fell, face so warm your flush could be seen in the dark.
Finally catching your breath and regaining (most of) your composure, you felt as Sienna finally pulled her fingers out from inside you, already making you feel a little empty.
She, instead of wiping her hand on your suit pants or her own leg, instructed you: âOpen your mouth.â It wasnât a question. There was no please. You knew you could refuse anytime you wanted.
Immediately doing as she said, your stomach fluttered at the dangerous edge to her voice. You were met with the taste of your own cum as you sucked her index and middle finger into your mouth eagerly, wanting to prove yourself. Prove yourself as what exactly, you didnât know. But you were beginning to learn that whatever pleased her, pleased you.
âGood girlâ Sienna praised without seemingly really thinking about it, and your hands clenched at her biceps, almost accidentally biting down on her fingers with how hard your body physically reacted at that with something. The dark-haired girl could judge from your reaction that you had definitely took the compliment well. âOh? You like when I call you that?â
She took her fingers out of your mouth and let out a breath of amusement as you couldnât meet her gaze. âI expect you to look at me when Iâm speaking to you.â Well shit. A hint of intimidation mixed in with your arousal as you let go of her arms and tried to meet her eyes with your own.
âSorryâ you murmured. You had no idea why you were even apologising, but something about Siennaâs words had unbalanced you. In a good way though.
After a moment she backed off of you, making sure you werenât going to collapse due to how weak your limbs felt now.
âCan you-â she paused for a moment to take a deep breath, âcan you get on your knees for me baby?â She was looking up at you with pupils so blown her eyes were practically black and you felt the sudden urge to have your mouth on her somewhere. Maybe her mouth; it was sparkly, no doubt from all the glittery fake blood that resided around yours. It made you want to giggle, until what she had just asked you registered.
Holy fuck. Was this really happening? Did she mean what you thought she meant?
âOf course you donât have to- â, the makeup artist was already backtracking, paranoid she had suggested something which made you uncomfortable. You shook your head a little too enthusiastically.
âNo, no, i-itâs fine⊠I want to.â You reassured, moving the two of you so that your positions were now flipped, you crowding her against the wall this time. It was strange though, as even though currently you were acting as the more âdominant oneâ, you were hanging off of her every word. Like she was the one who was meant to be calling the shots.
Siennaâs head tilted down as she watched you get on your knees in front of her. Her facial expression was one of pure surprise, with a hint of arousal. She looked as powerful in that moment as you believed her to be, a winged warrior whom your heart was in the hands of. But in that moment, she was also just your friend: courageous, and smart and funny.
You wanted to give her the world, but that was currently impossible, so you supposed this would have to do.
âCan I touch you?â the question was shaky as you looked up at her. It was weird to see her from this angle, so used to looking down at her slightly due to the height difference being more so in your favour.
There was no hesitation. âPlease.â
So, with trembling hands, you ran a palm up her thigh, marvelling how soft her skin was. Some people were a boob person, some were an ass person, you preferred thighs. And you wanted Siennaâs wrapped around your head as soon as physically possible.
The brunette obviously agreed that the anticipation had gotten too much, as she was then taking off the bottom part of her costume carefully as well as the undershorts she had worn under it. You had (very reluctantly) stopped Sienna when she had reached her underwear and was about to take those off too, wanting to do that yourself.
With her legs slightly spread you could see that her wetness had soaked through her panties. Trying to not bite your lip so hard it bled, you took them off and helped her step out of them carefully.
The sight you were met with had you internally scrabbling to remain composed. In between Siennaâs legs was a triangle of dark trimmed hair, and when she spread her thighs apart you were hit with the realisation of just how wet she was. The arousal was dripping down her inner thighs and making your mouth water.
You looked up at her for a signal to go ahead, and once you had received one you kissed your way up her thigh before grabbing her leg and resting her left foot on your left shoulder. Marvelling at her spread open you could feel from her body language that she was a little nervous. The feeling was mutual, so you tried to ease the tension a little bit.
âI canât believe youâre letting me do thisâ you giggled. Jesus, socially awkward much? Sienna Shaw had you between her legs with no panties on and you were giggling like a loser. The thought did nothing to dispel the fluttering feeling in your stomach, it was as if the weight of her foot on your shoulder was the only thing keeping you from floating off the ground.
The brunette let out a huff of laughter, leaning back until her head hit the wall, rather in disbelief herself. âI canât believe this is happening to begin with.â Your facial expression mustâve turned into something a little less light-hearted as she quickly rectified her statement. âNot that Iâm not loving this, you look really cute right now.â
Heat simultaneously rose up to your face and down between your legs at the compliment.
âSeriously, youâre being so good for meâ. One of her hands ran through your hair and then moved down to caress your face, you leaned into her touch.
Although technically this was just a hookup between 2 good friends at a Halloween party, the moment felt special. You had no idea why she had feelings for you of all people, but the way she was looking at you right then made you believe that she was genuinely telling the truth. That you were the one she wanted to be with, the one she wanted to do this with.
You leaned forward impossibly closer to her, face just mere inches away from what laid in between her legs. Looking up at her, you wanted to make sure it was okay before you finally got what you had wanted for what felt like forever.
âGo ahead babyâ.
The permission she gave to you was the final thing to shatter your composure entirely, you gripped the back of her thighs and finally tasted her. Moaning as you buried your face without any shame into her pussy, you heard as she gasped, most likely from the eagerness of which your tongue was exploring her cunt.
âJesus Christâ Sienna swore as you licked one long stripe from her entrance right up to her clit, repeating this until she was a trembling mess. Her façade was slowly cracking as you felt her get more desperate to cum, the dominant persona she had shown earlier melting away slightly. In all honesty you didnât care about the dynamic between the two of you right now, you just wanted her to cum all over your face.
The shorter girlâs blunt nails dug into your scalp as she grabbed your hair harder to grind against your face, deciding the pressure and pace you were going at (which was admittedly rather to tease than anything) wasnât enough.
The taste of her plus the fact she was practically fucking your face made you moan so loud you almost felt embarrassed. The idea of her using you like this was too much to handle, and shifting a little on your knees you discovered you were wet again already.
You were only almost embarrassed at your own noises because they were clearly sending vibrations straight up to the brunetteâs clit and making her let out a string of curses. Her arousal had drenched the bottom half of your face and was dripping down your chin, you wished this could last forever. You would gladly spend the rest of eternity doing this with her if it was possible.
âFuck that feels so good babyâ Sienna tried to say more, before the words trailed off into a groan. The only thing stopping you from moving a hand between your own legs was the fact that you were more worried about holding her up. Siennaâs legs were shaking with pleasure, and it was hitting some sweet egotistical spot in your chest.
Her breathing was getting faster and more ragged as she leant against the wall, clearly on the edge. It made you want to both slow down and speed up at the same time â you wanted to make this last as long as possible. For all you knew, tomorrow it would be like nothing had happened, like you two were just close girl friends. Like you didn't now know what sorts of sounds she made when sheâs being eaten out.
But Siennaâs hands were tightening in your hair, and you needed to know more than anything how she sounded like when she came. What her cum tasted like. The uncomfortable ache in your jaw was immediately forgotten as you doubled down your efforts. She tasted absolutely amazing and you knew youâd never forget doing this, could never forget doing this.
She sounded so pretty coming apart above you, panting and moaning as you abused her clit with your tongue.
As the both of you were already pent up, within a few more moments she was coming with a loud gasp, pressing herself against your face as close as physically possible as if she was scared you were going to move away. The reality was that you were more likely to just stay there and never leave. The noises she made were hopefully unheard by anyone else, but you, you were sure to hear them in many wet dreams to come.
Is this what heaven was like? Was she actually some sort of ethereal being? More wetness flooded your mouth, and you were thankful that your feelings for her were so obvious, as otherwise she might not have dragged you here under the guise of needing âfriendly advice.â
Soon the loud gasps had quietened into barely concealed whimpers, and you were holding yourself back from kissing your way up her inner thigh to do it all over again.
Sienna was trying to catch her breath coming down from an admittedly very intense orgasm, and her grip on your hair was a lot gentler as she stroked your face. âHoly shit.â
You seconded that sentiment, feeling almost dizzy with both satisfaction at making her cum and need for relief again yourself. The ache between your legs was becoming unbearable again, but the current position you were in made you hold off on relieving it so soon.
For a moment, it was quiet except for her quiet breathing and the much louder sound of your racing heart. The two of you could also hear the faint music from the party happening somewhere off in the distance.
âAre you good?â the brunette checked up on you. It made you want to laugh and cry at once â good? You had just acted out your biggest fantasy with someone who you were borderline in love with. Good didnât cover it.
âY-yeah.â
Sienna stroked your hair, silently glad that she hadnât pushed any boundaries with you. It made your heart swell to feel her being so gentle with you, showing she could be as sweet as she could be rough. The perfect balance. You managed to gather enough strength to get up off of your knees and on your feet again to kiss her.
The other girlâs arms wrapped around your neck as she pulled you close, the two of you needing a minute to take in what had just happened.
You realised both of you were still partially undressed and pulled away from the kiss to button your shirt back up and grab the discarded part of her costume as well as her underwear and undershorts. âYou should probably uh,â you gestured to her naked lower half, secretly appreciating the sight but more paranoid than anything that some stranger was going to come past and get an eyeful of her ass or more.
Sienna giggled a little at the expression of pure anxiety on your face, thinking that sometimes you were prone to worrying over nothing. There had been no one where the two of you were the entire night. âCalm down, Iâll put my clothes back onâ she teased you light-heartedly as she took her underwear and undershorts from you. âWanna help me put them back on?â.
With all the sex stuff you had forgotten she was almost as much of a dork as you were. Either that or a really big flirt. Probably both.
You ignored the fact you still were incredibly pent up and let her grab your shoulder for balance as she got dressed again. âCan we go back to your place?â you asked, handing her the Valkyrie skirt, and watching as she adjusted it around her waist.
âOh?â Sienna shot you a look, âof courseâ. She gave you a peck before taking a hold of the knot of your cape and tightening it, somewhere down the line it had loosened and was close to falling off. âAre you okay to drive?â. Both of you had been sober for quite awhile now, and you trusted that you were fine to get you both to her house safely. You told her you were going to be okay behind a wheel.
The thought of being with her in the privacy of her own bedroom sounded like something to look forward to right now.
As soon as Siennaâs bedroom door slammed behind the two of you, she was pushing you towards the bed, neither of you even bothering to turn on the lights so the room wouldnât be encased in darkness. Jonathan was out with his friends at some party, the same with Siennaâs mom, meaning the two of you very thankfully had the house to yourselves.
You both collapsed onto her bed in a tangle of limbs, your lips working their way down her neck. Taking charge seemed far away for a brief moment to her as you climbed on top of the Valkyrie warrior, before she remembered how deliciously pathetic you had sounded moaning into her.
Without even thinking, Sienna pushed herself up off the bed and against you, hooking her legs around your back and flipping you two over so now she was the one on top.
You let out a noise of surprise as you looked up at her. âShit, okay, not complaining about thisâ.
âOf course youâre not complaining you loserâ she laughed, not really meaning the insult. Even if you were a loser, maybe she liked that.
When you grabbed her hips, Sienna responded by grinding down into you, making your breath hitch. Her face showed a mix of concentration and arousal as she tried to take off her wings, shoulder piece and breast plate as carefully and as quickly as possible â sure the costume had taken months to create, but she also really wanted to be inside you right then.
It took a moment, and you having to actually sit up and help her, but finally she was naked from the waist up and you were rewarded with the sight of her bare chest.
Her breasts were perfect, as you had expected them to be, even if they hadnât been you still wouldâve wanted them in your mouth as much as you wanted them right now. The brunetteâs hair was framing her face perfectly as she looked down at you, the lamp light illuminating the space around her almost creating the impression that she was glowing.
Grabbing her by the hips and pulling her towards you, the warrior shifted in your lap as you teased one of her nipples using your mouth.
âFuckâ she swore, grabbing the back of your hair when you moved one of your hands away from her hip to fondle her left breast a lot less gentle than you were being with your mouth. Sienna couldnât believe this was happening still, she had known about your crush on her for a while now but was surprised either of you had the metaphorical balls to do something about it.
Oh, but was she glad though, now pulling you away from her chest and pushing you forcefully down on the bed. âEnough of this teasing bullshitâ she practically growled, ripping your shirt open so hard that some of the buttons popped off.
Frankly you didnât care, the whole costume was bought on a budget and besides, you were too turned on to think of any of the practicalities.
Once your shirt was open, she shimmed down you to take off your belt again, this time for good, and throw it across the room to land somewhere on her bedroom floor. Next came your cape, which wouldâve made you giggle in any other situation. Sienna pulled down your slacks with an urgency that, coming from her, was previously unbeknownst to you.
She unhooked your bra and threw it to the side to join the other clothes that were on the floor. âTake these off babyâ she was gesturing to your suit trousers.
You kicked them off, leaving them in a bunch at the end of her bed. The half-naked girl bent down to kiss you again as she worked on taking the rest of her costume off, now both of you were basically only in underwear (you still in your shirt somehow â neither of you seemed to care, more concerned with the feeling of her hips pressed against yours).
âYouâre so beautifulâ you couldnât help but comment, running a hand down her arm and noticing the gold shimmer of her glitter paint in the dark. Siennaâs face flushed but you didnât notice, a fact she was grateful of.
The two of you both didnât feel like you needed to say anything else to each other for a while, simply kissing and enjoying the sensation of her bare chest against yours. The brunetteâs breathing was getting heavier though and soon she was reaching to pull down and take off the last article of clothing she had on.
She asked you: âCan we try something?â.
That question made you as curious as it did aroused. âUmm okayâ.
Sienna stroked your thigh comfortingly, worried you were anxious for no good reason. âI can do all the work just-â she sighed as she climbed off you for a moment to take your underwear off too, âlift your leg up and put it over my shoulder babyâ. Feeling a mix of apprehensive and overwhelmed you did as she said â your stomach fluttering as you noticed how strong her hands were.
Then you realised what she was doing, no stranger yourself to porn. And could only moan as she pushed her hips forward and down, so that her cunt met yours.
âDoes this feel good for you?â she asked through pants, clearly enjoying it herself. She felt so wet, and you had to bite your tongue to stop yourself from swearing when your clits rubbed together. It was too much and not enough at the same time â this was going to be the death of you.
You could only reply to her question with a string of curses and moans as she experimented with different angles, trying to get the most direct contact with your pussy as possible. Some led to more contact than others but all felt as equally good, and the noises that were being made caused your face to feel hot.
Sienna seemed to go harder when you tried to speak but found you couldnât form any words, it was becoming clear to you that she liked when you were a desperate mess.
âYou look so cute right nowâ she said, knowing that neither of you were going to last long. âGod I love you so muchâ leaning down, the dark-haired girl kissed you, still rocking her hips against yours as much as she could in the position.
Even though you werenât getting as much pressure on your clit before now, you still opened your mouth into the kiss â noticing how close you were. She had just said she loved you.
Sienna was pressing her face into your neck now, overwhelmed, her breathing growing more ragged by the minute. âWe canât go back from this you know. After this youâre mineâ she sounded close to crying, âI canât just be your friend, I canâtâ.
You didnât know what to say, so you kissed her again and held her until you both came hard. It was the truth though, the both of you couldnât be friends anymore after what had happened.
You tried to catch your breath, body still trembling, and told her: âI love you tooâ.
On the Monday two days later, the weather was warm and got increasingly more unbearable as you pulled your hoodie up, hoping to whatever God was listening that the concealer on your neck wouldnât rub off anytime soon. Sienna had rocked up to class in a similar fashion but seemed to pull it off better than you did. Neither of you had approached each other in public for fear of embarrassing yourselves.
Pretences were tiring to keep, and after the weekend that had passed you wouldnât be able to look the brunette in the eye anymore without blushing.
You would call her your friend as you hadnât necessarily put a label on your relationship yet; however, it was a lot more complicated than that now, and you had never been so happy about complications before. Allie and Brooke had texted you a few times over the weekend talking about aimless stuff, and mainly just making sure that you were alive after disappearing on Friday.
But you couldnât tell if they had realised what had gone on â going off of what Sienna had told you about them the night of the party you guessed it was only a matter of time before it would be confirmed to them.
Actually, the idea wasnât as daunting to you as it would have been mere days ago though. It felt like something in you had unravelled, like a rubber band had snapped; you were no longer as fearful of being judged anymore. Maybe it was just because you were so happy, for the past three days now you had woken up in a good mood and it was all down to one person.
Sienna, even when she had just been your friend, made your biggest troubles seem like mere inconveniences when she was around. Her presence was so calming and self-assured. As long as she was with you, nothing could ever hurt you. The girl had said that to you before and you had believed it wholeheartedly. You still did.
And now you two were making the metaphorical (and in this case kind of literal) walk of shame to the lunch table you guys shared with Allie and Brooke every weekday. Both of them seemed a little distracted, but upon realising you and Siennaâs presence they then seemed all too alert. Brooke actually put her phone away. Was this the Twilight Zone or something?
âSoâ the blonde coughed as you sat down next to Allie. Sienna taking the place next to Brooke. Keeping a distance between you and your crush right then was a good idea as you were sure they were about to borderline interrogate you guys. âWhat have you guys got for lunch?â Brooke asked, stabbing some salad with her fork.
What a pleasant surprise, for once in her life Brooke Valdeon wasnât being a complete bitch.
Allie seemed to be following suit, silently asking Sienna to open a bottle of soda for her as she couldnât do it herself. Neither of them seemed to care that you and Sienna had definitely hooked up and were probably more than friends. The only thing that they said that even showed an inclination of their knowledge was when Allie complained about now being the only single one amongst you all.
âSeriously guys, thereâs so many single people out there â surely one of themâs for me, why havenât I found them yet?â
Brooke rolled her eyes; âCause you say cringe shit like that.â You all laughed and even Allie had to crack a smile at that, knowing it was pretty much true.
After lunch break Sienna had offered to walk you to class, just the two of you, leaving a surprisingly supportive Allie and Brooke in your wake. She had her hands stuffed into the pockets of her jeans and looked incredibly nervous. You had literally seen her entirely naked not even three days ago, and she was still acting like you guys were at the end of a first date or something, you wouldâve poked fun at her if it wasnât so cute.
âWould you wanna come round mine tonight? We could watch a movie, I just renewed my Shudder subscriptionâ she offered quietly.
You tried not to smile, âLike a date?â
She looked down at her converse, nothing like the girl you had been with on Friday. âYeah, I mean, if you want it to beâŠâ
Instead of giving Sienna a verbal response you checked the hallway was empty before grabbing her by her hoodie strings to pull her close and kiss her. You pulled away after a few moments, happy you could now do that without risking making a complete fool of yourself. Watching you as you turned around and opened the door to your next class, Sienna looked surprised. Surely that was a good enough answer to her question.
âSo, is that a yes?!â she shouted after you, flustered.
âDuh, Sienna! Of course itâs a yes!â
a/n: and then you guys had a super cute date/movie night and watched the Texas chainsaw massacre and lived happily ever after with no scary borderline immortal clown ruining your lives ::))

Training Wheels | Coriolanus Snow | v.
Your mother's macabre work never appealed to you as you always preferred the comfort of your books, but when her apprentice takes a special interest in you, your safe, quiet world is flipped upside down.
Warnings: DUB-CON, NON-CON, Gaul!Reader, Shy Reader, Manipulation, Parental Neglect, Drinking, Peer Pressure, Hazing, University set, Loss of Virginity, Dumbification, Insecurities, Abusive Relationship, Degradation, Suicide Attempt
This is a dark story. Heed warnings before reading under the cut.
đđđđđđ đđđđđđđđđđ
You flinch as you enter Livia Cardewâs house, the attention drifting towards you causing your stomach to knot.Â
You suck in a lungful of bravery.Â
What a strange sight you must make, strolling in with Clemensia Dovecote and Coriolanus Snow of all people, her arm twined with yours while his hand rests on the small of your back. Your heart pounds in your chest, the urge to retreat and run outside radiating from every cell in your body.
You donât belong here.
They will laugh at you.
Silly girl playing dress-up.
Tendrils of doubt creep alongside the walls of your fretful brain. You feel assessed, and perhaps found to be lacking, with every step you take.Â
âDonât look down, angel.â
A sharp exhale flies from your lips as your chin is tilted upwards. You drown in the ocean beneath Coriolanusâ furrowed brow. His intense focus tugs you back to the present.Â
âSorry,â you mumble.Â
âItâll be fine. You look stunning,â Clemmie assures, bumping your shoulder with hers.Â
You give a shaky nod. Itâs true. After all, Clemmie put so much effort into your appearance. You should at least hold your head high and act normal.
Livia comes up to you. The dim candlelight reflects in her bouncy golden curls. Her bright red lips stretch in a wide smile as she gauges you.
âYou guys came together?âÂ
Despite her perky inflection, you donât miss the slight narrowing of her eyes, or how they track the position of Coriolanusâ hand on your back.
âI drove them,â Coriolanus informs.
âOh,â she says, nodding. She opens her arms. âYou guys should get a drink, make yourselves comfortable.â
âI actually donâtâŠâ
Clemmie flashes you a reassuring smile.Â
âItâs fine. Weâll get you something else.â
They both bring you to a table where an intense game of cards is in progress. You hear Festus curse and bang his fists over the table after seemingly getting a bad hand. The others around him laugh, one of them reshuffling the cards.
Some faces you recognize from the University and others you donât. You feel their intrigued gazes when Coriolanus pulls a chair for you. As you take a seat, he and Clemmie do the same. Your eyes roam over the table. Piles of chips, row of cards and red dices. Clemensia mentioned games. You supposed she meant card games. And from the looks of it, money appears to be on the line. You suppose when they are not betting on the lives of children, these are the kind of things Capitol kids are up to.
With money and time to spare, it makes sense you suppose. Your head has always been buried so far in your books, you have never stopped to wonder what the future leaders of Panem are up to.
A sliver of fascination flutters through you as you soak in the scene at the table.Â
âSnow. Clemmie. Took you long enough,â Ivy says.
âYou cannot rush perfection,â Clemmie replies, flicking her glossy raven locks above her shoulder.Â
Ivy rolls her eyes while Coriolanus grabs a set of cards from the draw pile. He frowns at them, a look of displeasure spreading on his face. A King, a queen and two aces. You donât know how this particular game is played but you gather from his expression that he must hold a bad hand.Â
Dices are thrown. Despite not understanding the rules, you try to follow along. When someone offers you a set of cards, you politely decline.
The dark-haired stranger cocks his head as he scrutinizes you.Â
âSo, youâre her daughter, right?â
Confused, you cast him a puzzled look.
âGaul,â he specifies.Â
You shrink. Wherever you are, you cannot escape the overwhelming reach of your motherâs shadow. Twisting your fingers in your lap, you give a mumbled reply.
âYeah, sheâs my mother.â
He shifts in his chair, letting out a quiet whistle.
âWow. She always gave me the heebie-jeebies.â
Clemmie groans before scolding him.Â
âWell, sheâs nothing like her mother so shut up and play, Octavius.â
Another girl sitting across from him pipes up.
âAll those snakes in the arena, just crawling around and climbing over that girl.â She shudders. âI still get nightmares about it.â
The boy turns to Coriolanus.
âWhat happened to her anyway, that songbird of yours?âA smirk blooms on Octaviusâ lips, his eyes locking with the blondâs. âShe was yours, wasnât she, Snow?â
An eerie quiet falls over the table. Even the soft piano notes playing in the background dwindle as every eye travels to Coriolanus. You shift in your chair, curiosity driving your gaze towards him as well.Â
A tight-lipped smile decorates his handsome features, his icy blue eyes zeroing on Octavius.Â
Your blood chills as his cool baritone rises.
âItâs your turn to play,â Coriolanus says, completely ignoring the question.Â
You swallow the lump in your throat. Everyone knows Lucy Gray Baird, the beautiful, sharp-tongued tribute who belonged to Coriolanus Snow, is a subject that should never be brought up in his presence. No one exactly knows what happened between the two. Perhaps they reunited during his time in District 12. Perhaps they did not. Coriolanus wouldnât speak of it. And the rare times you witnessed him being asked about it, there was a coldness in his blue eyes that unsettled you. Like now.Â
Whatever happened between him and the singing girl would remain a mystery. The only certainty is that he came back to the Capitol changed, with an aura around him that made everyone wary.Â
You can only assume he and that Lucy girl did not last. So the subject must still be a sore spot.Â
Octavius flinches under the blondâs stare, showing his cards for the entire table to see.Â
The blondâs brow arches. Scoffing, he displays his own hand.Â
Octavius curses under his breath as laughs erupt. He begrudgingly slides his entire stack of chips towards Coriolanus.Â
Victory glints in the blondâs cobalt orbs.
âPerhaps you should focus on your game,â he says. âInstead of blathering about ghosts and district rats.â
Slack-jawed, you stare at Coriolanus. His expression before had you believe he drew a terrible set of cards. Obviously it wasn't the case. He somehow fooled you and everyone else at the table.Â
The game continues. More chips are exchanged. Coriolanusâ pile keeps getting higher. Itâs clear heâs an expert at the game. Everyone at the table tries to read him but his collected demeanor concedes very little.
âYou must be my good luck charm, angel,â he says, sending you a smile that has your stomach fluttering.Â
LuckâŠas you note the staggering amounts of chips heâs collected thus far, you wonder if thatâs what this is. If there isnât more to it. Coriolanus seems terrifyingly adept at luring his opponents with a false sense of comfort. Heâll make a bad hand look like a good one, and a good hand look like a bad one. Set a trap and watch as others confidently walk into it.Â
Growing overwhelmed, you rise from your chair. The clamor of your heart fills your ears, the weight of othersâ attention making your head spin.
Coriolanusâ head slants.
âWhere are you going?â he asks.
The words leave your mouth in a breathless heap. âI just need a minute.â
âIs everything alright?â Clemmie inquires, concern scrunching her pretty features.
You shift and scratch your arm.
âIâm just gonna get a drink.â
âI could get you one,â he suggests.
âNo, you guys stay and play,â you say, shaking your head. âIâm fine on my own.â
You ignore the way his eyes linger as you walk away, that itchy prickle over your nape that ripples down to your spine.
Swallowing thickly, you shuffle across Liviaâs living room. An Avox maid offers you a glass on the way but you turn her down.Â
You ask for an alcohol-free drink and the maid tosses you an apologetic look. Your shoulders slump.Â
You peer around and find a spot at the bottom of the stairs. You sit, relieved to finally have a moment of peace. Being around so many people at once is still a novelty. You lean against the wooden railings. Was coming here a mistake? You canât help but wonder. You noted someone pulling a bottle of morphling earlier and Ivy swallowing a handful of pills. At this point, everyone has imbibed, indulged, or both.
The thrall of oblivion is often strong in the Capitol. Too many things need forgetting. Too many sins. Too many horrors.
In that moment, as laughter from the living room rings inside your ears, you feel acutely out of place.Â
âSorry. I only have posca, wine or whiskey.â
You lift your head. Your eyes widen when you realize Livia Cardewâs standing in front of you. âWell. I swiped that last one from my dadâs stash,â she adds with a small giggle.
You shrug. âItâs fine.â
Youâve probably overstayed your welcome anyway. This isnât your crowd. But Clemmie insisted and you had no idea how to refuse. How do you even refuse something you have painfully yearned for all these years?Â
Livia scrutinizes you for what seems an eternity before speaking again.Â
âHeâll throw you away once heâs done with you, you know?â
You blink, dismayed by her abrupt statement. âIâm sorry?â
She lets out a weary sigh, a look grazing sympathy flickering on her face. It vanishes quickly. Her mouth tightens.Â
âSnow,â she groans, frustration evident in her tone. âHe doesn't care about anyone or anything but himself.â Your brows knit. âIâm just trying to warn you.â She chews on her bottom lip, seeming to hesitate before bending closer to whisper, âJustâŠwatch out, okay?â
Stumped by her sudden display of concern, no word leaves your tongue. You fold your arms, shifting on the stairs. Can you even trust any word coming from Liviaâs mouth? Without Clemmieâs interjection, youâre fairly sure you wouldn't have been allowed into her home. Ever since she met you, sheâs considered you with such blatant disdain. As if you were a stain that wonât let itself be erased.
You struggle picturing her delivering helpful advice.
âLiv, I hope youâre not giving her a hard time again.â
You let your body sag, grateful for Clemmieâs impromptu appearance. You get to your feet. Livia whirls towards the brunette, feigning innocence. âIâm being a gracious host,â she chimes.
Clemmieâs gaze narrows.Â
All smiles again, she turns to you as Livia stomps away.
âDonât worry about her.â
You nibble your bottom lip.
âMaybe itâs best if I head out.â
She frowns. âBut you just got here.â
âI supposeâŠâ Your mind scrambles for an excuse. You blurt out the first thing that springs inside your head. âI need to go feed Walter anyway.â
Curiosity fills her onyx stare.
âWalter? Whoâs Walter?â
âMy cat.â
Silence stretches for a long minute before she bursts out in uncontrollable laughter.Â
Hand draping over her mouth, the brunette says, âIs that your excuse? You need to go feed your cat?â
Heat rushes to your face. Said aloud, you concede it sounds silly. Akin to a lame, hasty excuse. While there are bits of truth in your response, you canât deny youâre craving for a way out.Â
Clemmie cradles your face.
âThe first time is always a bit awkward. Youâve got no idea what youâre doing, what is even going onâŠâ She beams at you. âBut you canât back out. Not when youâre already here.â
You mull it over.
After all, wasnât it what you wished for? Being seen, included. For years, longing twisted inside your chest while you watched your classmates form bonds and forge lifelong friendships. Meanwhile, you withered in a corner, making yourself smaller and smaller everyday. Clemmie has been nothing but kind. And CoriolanusâŠwhile his presence plucks at your nerves, you have to admit heâs been a gentleman so far. Offering to drive you home, carrying your books, and berating every guy who said something mean to you or brushed you off. No oneâs ever stood up for you like that before.
Maybe you ought to try harder to fit in, be normal.
Giving a slow nod, you surrender.
âAlright. I guess I can stay a little longer.â
âYou know what you need?â Her eyes twinkle. âLiquid courage.â She grabs two glasses of wine from the Avox maidâs tray. âLetâs just drink. To your first party. One of many, I hope.â
She tries to place one in your hand but you resist.Â
âClemmie, I told you I donât-â
âI know. I knowâŠbut donât you want to mark the occasion?â She tilts her head sideways, sympathy etched on her pretty face. âCome on, do you want to be that girl who finishes Uni and hasnât tried anything new? The girl whoâs never taken a chance?â She holds your gaze, pressing the drink between your fingers. âSad, alone, not a single experience to reminisceâŠIs this really what you want?â
âNo, itâs not. Youâre right,â you mutter, your fingers tightening around the glass.Â
âYou came here to be someone else. So be someone else.â
Her words embolden you to take a large swig of the drink. When thereâs still some of it left, she encourages you to finish it. Then, she nudges you to have another glass, sliding a tiny yellow pill inside your other hand.
You scowl down at your palm.
âWhatâs this?â
âMorphling extract. Itâll help you relax.â
You look at Clemmie. Excitement sways in her eyes.
You toss your head back and gulp down the pill. She congratulates you. It catches in your throat and you wash it down with more alcohol.Â
The effect is near instantaneous.Â
Your muscles uncoil, your fear melting away. Soft, fluffy clouds replace the foggy cluster of your thoughts. A pleasant buzz spreads through your veins.Â
âCome on, letâs join the others,â she says, seizing your hand and tugging you along.Â
You end up on the sofa, wedged between her and Coriolanus.Â
He drinks you in, a subtle smile blooming on his lips.
âYou seem happy.â
âI am happy.â
Your sharp, immediate answer broadens his smile.
âWhat are you guys doing?â Clemmie asks.Â
Livia sighs. âItâs a stupid game we havenât played since the Academy.â
âHey, itâs not stupid. I like it,â Ivy protests. She grabs a bottle of posca and begins to pour some in everyoneâs glass. âYou take a drink when thereâs something you havenât done. Simple right?â
The game is indeed easy. It also makes you want to crawl inside a hole and never come out as the night gets further along. A myriad of questions is flung at the group. Each of them grows the well of embarrassment pitting in your stomach.Â
Youâre forced to take a drink when Ivy asks whoâs had sex, who has done it with more than one person, who has kissed a boy or girl.Â
Many times, you are the only one grabbing your glass, exposing your lack of experience to the entire group. You hear a stifled laugh somewhere besides you. Your face ignites.Â
You bolt upwards, shooting the group an apologetic look.Â
âIâm gonna get some air,â you say.Â
You stumble away. However after just a few wobbly steps toward the exit, you keel over and almost collide with the marbled tiles.Â
A pair of strong arms slither around your waist, preventing your collapse.Â
âAre you alright, angel?â Coriolanus whispers against your temple.Â
You raise shaky fingers to your face, or what you think is your face. Your fingertips are like cotton, nothing beneath them feeling as it should.Â
Your brows crumple.
âI canât feel my legs. I-I canât feel my face.â Your mind swirls as you look up. The room bends off its axis around you. Panic rushes through you. âI have to go home.â
âIâll take you then,â he says.
You shake your head. Even that tiny motion makes you want to puke.Â
You swallow the surge of bile in your throat.Â
âNo. You should return to the party. I couldnât, I canâtâŠâ
Coriolanusâ brows furrow.Â
âIâm not letting you go home by yourself at this hour and in this state,â he says, practically carrying you out of Liviaâs house as you slump against him.Â
âWhat about Clemmie?âÂ
He smiles at you as you hobble alongside him.Â
âShe can find her own way home.â

Ditching Witches
Pairing: Sylus x GN!reader (established relationship) Genre: Fluff, minor angst CW: Swearing, light-hearted jealousy WC: 851
Day 4 of To Halloween with Love Event
A/N: Lotta firsts with this event lmao, been meaning to get into the Love and Deepspace bag with fics for forever
"So comfortable already? Sweetie." Sylus walks in with a big bowl of popcorn in the festive jack-o-lantern bowl you had picked out together the other day.
"Hard not to get comfortable at your place," you beam as you cuddle into the biggest, fluffiest blanket you could find in his linen closet.
He sets the bowl beside you on the couch and slips under the blanket, wrapping an arm around your waist and lazily tracing lines along your belly with his cold hands. "Glad you like it so much- been so much warmer with you around." Resting his head on your shoulder you feel as he presses light kisses along your jaw.
"Don't get all touchy with me mister! Not after tonight..." You pout and huff as you pry his hand away with little to no strength, not really wanting him to let go but still wanting to stick to your conviction.
"Ha." Just as you expected, he presses into you and grips you tighter. "You're the one who picked that costume for me, kitten. How am I to blame?"
You whip your head away from him with another huff.
"Starting to sound like the big bad wolf, sweetie." He smirks.
You push at his chest and hog the blanket, "You were practically all over them!"
"I barely even spoke to them." He chuckles and you know the whole thing is silly but you can't help but be possessive with him... You know if the tables were flipped he'd probably be much worse.
"You spoke to them." You purse your lips and side-eye him.
"You don't want me to speak to other people?"
"Not when those other people obviously want to get in your pants..."
"Hey. You know I'd want no one else but you in my pants, sweetie." And his tone darkens for just a moment - almost willing you to take him into your arms right then! But no! You must stay strong, when else would you have the chance to get mad at him just a little?
"Those bitches-"
"Witches." He cuts you off and you look up at him with a puzzled expression, "They were dressed as witches." He grins knowing just what buttons to press for you to lose it.
And he's damn good at knowing your buttons because you swear your eye twitches, "You remembered what they were dressed as?"
"It was a Halloween party, baby."
"I hate you." You abruptly say as you toss and curl yourself up in the blanket so tightly you feel like it would rip if it wasn't so well made.
"Mmm... you hate me?" And your silence only further amuses him. "Oh no... My love hates me sooo much." The sarcasm is dripping from his words and you're about to just give in and call it there but suddenly you're being lifted and sat back down upright.
With the blanket still tightly wrapped around your upper half, you can tell that he's set you down in his lap with the way his arms settled on your waist. And you gasp as you feel his hot breath through the fabric near your ear, "They hate me so much that they can't even finish picking the movie for our movie night..." he whispers and it makes you shudder.
With a pout still painted on your face, you uncover yourself slowly, trying your best to leave eye contact for last. "Still hate me?" He says with a smile that he knows you can't ignore.
"Can't hate you..." And you know how childish you sound but what good is acting mature when he coddles you like this?
"Yeah? Well good, I'd hate for you to hate me. I'd hate myself so much."
"You know I'm joking right?" You just have to confirm with him that this is all some cringy game before you actually start to believe that this could become normal.
"I know, sweetheart. I also know that even though you're joking there's just a small part of you that's actually jealous..."
"You suck."
"Right. I suck." And he brings snuggles himself into you, constricting your movements with a hug.
"Why did you have to look so good in that costume? Huh?!" You poke at his chest with fury as you come to rest your head against his shoulder this time.
"You're the one who picked it, sweetie. I'm sure you had an idea of what I would look like in it."
"You had your whole chest out!"
"You picked it."
And you just have to resign from this nonsense argument because you're going in circles over practically nothing. With a sigh, you snuggle back into him and pick up the popcorn. He grabs the remote and you both begin the endless hell of scrolling till you both agree on a movie.
You knew you weren't justified in arguing with him over this. After all, he was the one who kept bringing up his partner to those witches when they asked for his number and he's the one who dutifully ditched the party with you the moment you said you wanted to leave.
A/N: Oh no... Sylus! Save me! Lmao I love this man so much, actually the death of me and the whole reason I picked the game up. (I have him leveled up far better than the others ;-;) I am lowkey hoping that my spinning wheel for this event picks JJK again soon bc I have some lowkey-angst I've been wanting to write out...
Please Reblog and Comment (They act as power-ups for me)
