Inktober day 19: Chilling

Noragami is an old love of mine and my family. We all watched it together not long after the anime was released. I also read the manga a few years later, not too long after I graduated high school. Wow, it’s been a while since then. I almost have my Bachelor’s degree now! I thought Yukine would fit this prompt well as Yato finds him on a cold night and Yukine means “the sound of snow”. There’s also, uh, the whole refrigerator thing. Overall there’s a big theme of cold going on there. I added snowflakes because of the scene in the anime where Yato finds him. I am so glad I had a snowflake brush for this. It would’ve been so difficult otherwise. Snow wasn’t creepy enough so I added some eyes. Chilling isn’t necessarily winter or snow. If you know you know, I won’t spoil it even though the anime is pretty old now. You should watch it Crew, it’s pretty fun and the music is fantastic. I still listen to the openings.

"Rebirth"

A piece to celebrate the ending of one of my favorite manga, Noragami. I have been reading it for years and it was bittersweet to see it end. Hiyori was one of the characters I drew a lot when I first started drawing, so it was fun to make this piece as almost a tribute to her character and what she means to me
