I have a full blown list of stuff about her so buckle up.

She has an accent. No wizard or witch she met during her Hogwarts years could place her accent correctly. Let's just say it's a weird mix of the German, Irish and Italian accents.

She used to always have her hair put in a braid when she first arrived to Hogwarts.

Surprisingly, she isn't very afraid of heights. She has jumped from a cliff to 'get on her broom faster' before. And she will do it again.

On the matter of fears, do not leave her alone in a dark/ dimly lit place because she WILL have a panic attack.

Her favorite spot to stay alone and think is an abandoned and ruined church not far from Gragcroft.

She often forgets that she can use magic for mundane stuff.

She's Nora Treadwell's #1 fan. Love the lesbian archeologist.

Mary's favorite food is rice. Put rice on her plate and she will eat it, no matter how it's cooked or seasoned.

Her pet owl is called White Plume and she loves him like a son.

She spends more time outside Hogwarts than in the castle, even if she loves the place.

She's actually pretty mischievous and cunning and could manage to affectively trick a professor if she wanted.

Even if she's awkward and not quite social, she thrives for attention and wants to make friends. She's actually very caring too.

This fic sets in a universe where Blind Betrayal never took place and Nora destroyed the institute with the Brotherhood of Steel. I don’t know if im going to make a new story of this couples, like Arthur x Nora, Danse x Arthur, Danse x Nora since I already finished playing Fallout 4 and I am playing the 3 one and at some time I gotta go the obsession but I feel like writing things differents from Follow me inside the wastelands

For Danse it was difficult to talk to the elder of the commonwealth chapter since “that” happened…but at least his old friend was slowly taking it better and better, the young man was mature and reasonable, the resentment weren’t directed towards him at least…well…a bit…more than a bit…it was understandable since well…

-Nothing new to report about our job in Washington but…Arthur we need to talk –the elder open up his eyes stopping the hand that he had on the needle where he was mending one of his little daughter's shirts

-You mean Elder Arthur or Arthur Arthur? –it was so strange hearing him talking like that. When they meet even when he was only a teenager he wouldn’t talk like that at all, groomed into being a leader to carry the lastname Maxson really build his character like a really serious young man but after officially started dating Nora he change…a lot…and became a totally different person, love change him a lot, now at his 29 he was a totally different person that the 21 when he arrived the Commonwealth for the first time. And after “that” happened he loose himself even more, thinking that for what? What does everything matter? Why bother at all? All that work for nothing! Being the most powerful man didn’t save him at all.

-Arthur Arthur…sir… -heard Danse at the other side of the call and chuckled.

-What is it? –ask the elder, still mending the tshirt, oh he didn’t want anyone else doing this little jobs over his daughter clothes, everybody does it wrong except him! Nora taught him how and…didn’t see anyone else doing it so perfectly like she did.

What the fuck? –whaaaaat? Since when do I had a good life in the citadel? –jaja what? Oh gosh people had the most stupid ideas.

-Well im not moving you both out the city because she cant face the reality and stop daydreaming –yeah being cheated on was shitty but damn it's good that he missed the obligation of having Nora by his side, over time he understood that by getting married he had bought himself a bag of unresolved problems that were very difficult to handle even for him.

-Of course not, our mission is going just fine –yeah the mission of banging his wife maybe- we are progressing with the task the elder here is giving us, she neither wants to leave this city but…its harming her –it was true, he was receiving request of that elder to even promote Danse but god damn he wouldn’t be promoting a wife thief

Silence, again, he raise up his head to look at the terminal, now worried.

-But you know her the longest –from initiate to Sentinel at the paladin side, until both sentinel and elder got into a relationship, fraternizing with a soldier.

-Its not working on me –now, the man was crying even if he cant see his tears, Arthur hold his chin on his hands, shutting his lids- love is not saving her on this.

The elder stood in silence, and breathe out –You know this about her…since the beginning

-I know –voice cracked at the other side of the line.

-I learned over time how to deal with that and move forward in our relationship, get through each day, try to make a future for ourselves, it didn't work for me, as you know –in any fucking chance he would have to spit in the face his betrayal to him he will do it- but It was never easy, or less painful, no matter the day

-Yeah

-And its only going to get worse, maybe you aren’t prepared to it, like I wasn’t

-You didn’t send her away because you can’t deal with it –then whyyyyy? If Danse gets it why did he fuck his wife? Arthur cover his face with his palms and breathe.

-Even after everything that happened I know I avoided an obstacle, a hard one, for the rest of my life –the image of Nora jumping off a building cross his mind, he open his eyes to avoid having images- but you are right. Arya will be sad, ill talk to Nora, put a call on her agenda, make sure she see it and…answer the call.

Both stay in silence, until Danse speak with the voice still broken.

Arthur stood in silence too, eyes getting lost on the terminal.

My Conductor Family

Since people seem to like them (and because i feel like it) i will give more information about them.

First of there lastname is Galloway.

Blake & Leila:

Blake is the Conductor we all know. He was married to Leila until she got very sick and passed away. That is the reason why he started drinking. Grooves got worried about him and tryied to comfort him. Conductor refuses at first but quickly relised that Grooves just want's to help. Blake warms up to the Penguin and discovers that he like him.(and that he is not as straight a he thought) Now there living together and are happily married. (He and Leila had three kids but i'm still working on them)

Amy & Luke:

Amy moved with her family from a very big city to this town near the desert and Dead Bird Studio. That's why her feathers are a different color. Were she is from the Birds are mostly blue, green and purple. She met Luke while grocerieshooping and he helped her reach some stuff from higher shelfs. (cliche i now) They talkes for a while and at one point she said that she was currently looking for a job. Since Luke was working for his uncle (Conductor) at Dead Bird Studio, he offert her to just ask there. (Conductor needed a female actor and Luke knew about it) Long Story short: she got the job and she and Luke bonded over the acting up to the point were there started dating. Now there married and still thinking about having kids.

Walter & Skye:

Walter is the younges of the four Brothers. He is working as a Waiter at the Owl Express's Restaurant. Skye is his lovely wife (i still need to draw her tho) and They have four kids: Luke, Silas, Penelope and Kira. He is a total Gentleman and much callmer then his three Brothers. (And yes he is an Albino)

Greg & Monty:

Greg is a bit older then Walter and drives the Train when Conductor is not. He is married to a Moon Peguin named Monty. He is gay and dosn't care that his earrings don't match his feathers. The two have adopted two kids: Travis and Addison. Travis is a shy little Moon Pengu and Addison is a very loud and outgoing owl.

Redd & Nora:

Redd is a total jerk but still loves his family. He is married to Nora and has a daughter named Abby. The Boilerroom of the Train is his workplace and he is very good at what he does. (That's all i have for him right now....)

Norwegian / old norse names and places

Every now and then I come across a book, movie, TV-series, fanfic, game or whatever, that mention a fictional "Norwegian" or "norse" place or person, and it just sounds so wrong it makes me either cringe or ROFL. Really. I still haven't recovered from the 1995 X-files episode, "Død Kalm", which took us to the port of "Tildeskan" where we met "Henry Trondheim", "Halverson" and "Olafsson".  Hopefully this list will keep others from being that “creative” with names. :)

Names usage Double names, like Ragnhild Johanne or Ole Martin are common in Norway. Just keep them as two names and don't use "-", and you'll be safe, even if it ends up a tongue twister. Using only one of two given names is also common practice.

In Norway everyone is on a first name basis. Students call teachers and other kids' parents by their first name, workers call their boss by their first name, we call our Prime Minister by her first name (journalists will use her title when speaking to her though). Some senior citizens still use surnames and titles when speaking of or to  people their own age.

There are some exceptions. For example, a doctor may be referred to as Dr. Lastname when we speak of them, but first name is used when speaking to them. A priest is "the priest" when speaking of him/her and their first name is used when spaking to them. In the millitary only surnames (and ranks) are used. If you meet Harald, the King of Norway, in an official setting you will refer to him as "Kongen" (the king). If you run into him at the gas station, or while hiking, he is "Harald".

If you don't know someone's name it is okay to use their title, or just say "you".

Examples: Eirik Blodøks (Eirik Blood-Axe), Gammel-Anna (old Anna), Halte-Ása (limping Ása). I suggest that you stick with English for bynames, or use (relatively) modern language if you are writing in Norwegian. 

Surnames

Surnames weren't really a thing until 1923 when they became mandatory. Before 1923 patronyms (son/daughter of) were used, and the name of the farm you lived on was often added as an address. 

For instance: Helgi Eiriksøn (Helgi, son of Eirik), who lived at the farm called Vollr (grass field), would be called Helgi Eiriksøn Vollr. If he moved to the farm called Haugr his name would change to Helgi Eiriksøn Haugr.

Patronyms

Men: Use father's first name and add -sen /-son /-sønn Women: Use father's first name and add -dotter / -dottir / -datter

Farm names

Farm names were usually relevant and derived from either the location, a nearby landmark, nature or from occupation.  I suggest you stick with the modern forms for farm names.

Old Norse (meaning) - modern Bekkr (stream) - Bekk, Bekken Dalr (valley) - Dal, Dahl Horn (horn) - Horn Vollr (field) - Vold, Volden Lundr (grove) - Lund

The list of common names for places/villages/towns is still valid, although the spelling is modern. Just keep it simple and make "clever" combos based on meaning.
