HOW EVERYONE LIKES THEIR PASTA (and their opinions on latikam's noodles)
There is a common gnocchi-like pasta that is Oasis's preferred noodle. Well done, and drenched in sauce. Favorite pasta dish is more. She enjoys latikam's offerings even if they are strange, mokubat's noodle lumps are great. Pasta is Pasta.
Casarin grew up eating noodles that were thick and chewy and preferred it over the rice. However its a style thats hard to find in the north and whats available to him here just doesnt hit the same. Still, the closest thing is instant noodles and they're ok I guess. Dishes dont matter, its not mama's cooking. Casarin has a normal relationship with latikam's cooking.
Pasta brings up too many memories for alex. Luckily what's in latikam's household doesn't resemble what he knows to be pasta, and is usually cooked in a soup. They're... okay. He would prefer a potato instead (which the vazuvyr treat like a carrot or turnip). One of the things that makes life easier is how far removed the vazuvyr are from the culture he grew up in, cooking included; one of the things that makes life harder is also how far removed he is from the culture he grew up in. Raviolis are his favorite.
Hydrel has no preference with his noodles, not a big pasta fan because his doesn't like the sauces his family uses (which are oily and herbal rather than creamy). He will one day discover what else is out there. Latikam's cooking is more miss with him than hit, but he can stand the noodles, thats not the problem with his cooking.
Noodle culture for vazuvyr is a complex thing. Noodlemakers have spend centuries making theirs in their own image. Latikam however, gets whatever the embassy gives him, which is a cheaply made pezeku brand that most closely resemble soba noodles. Traitors. He most likes mokubat's homemade noodles when he has the strength to make them. They're all just lumps of boiled dough but they are perfect to him.
Meksignn does NOT like noodles for they stick to his tootsies when he stands in the bowl.

"I know noodles probably aren't made with seasoning mixed directly in because they're meant to take on the flavor of what you add them into, but I think that's boring. Imagine luxury, specialized noodles. Seasons baked into the noodles, mixing with the broth and adding to it! It sounds so good!

【使用製麺キャップ】1.6mm平麺
【麺の材料】
米粉(上新粉) 250g
冷水 90ml
塩 小さじ 1/4
タピオカ粉  全体量の5% ... 12.5 g?
【材料A】
昆布 6cm×6cmくらい
干ししいたけ 3枚
切干大根 5g
水 800cc
しょうゆ 大さじ3
塩 少々
ネギ 適量
作り方
ヌードルメーカーで、うどんをつくる。
沸騰させたお湯で5分間茹でる。
つゆを作る。干ししいたけと切干大根、昆布は分量の水に30分以上つけておく。醤油、塩以外の材料Aを全て鍋に入れて沸騰させ、20分ほど煮出し、ザルでこして鍋に戻し、醤油、塩で味を調える。

タピオカ粉を全体量の5%加えると、つなぎの役割を果たしてまとまりやすいです。

C'est finalement la pause d'hiver ! Je veux lire beaucoup de livres. Je vais continuer à lire Demain les chats par Bernard Werber en français. Je veux essayer de lire un livre en chinois aussi qui s'appelle 拉面者 (The Noodlemaker) par 马建 (Ma Jian). Le semestre prochain je vais prendre un cours de la littérature chinoise, donc je dois me préparer. Le semestre prochain je vais me joindre à un club de lecture par faire des amis. Nous devons lire pendant le pause The Bell Jar par Sylvia Plath. Je n'ai jamais lu sa écriture sauf quelques poèmes, donc je suis impatiente de la lire. Et je dois finir Let the Right One In, le livre que je suis en train de lire. Je ne sais pas comment lire tous ces livres parce que j'ai souvent la tentation de juste regarder des séries. Peut-être si je les regarderai en français, ça ne sera pas une perte de temps.
Maintenant j'ai plus de temps par étudier le français chaque jour. Je veux améliorer ma écriture et prononciation. Je crois que je peux lire et comprendre le français orale plus ou moins couramment. Je vais écrire sur mon progrès ici. À tous qu'ils veulent étudier ses langues pendant ces vacances, bonne chance !
