Our November nonprofit partner is @citizensheunited! #CitizenSheUnited is an advocacy organization building the power and leadership of black womxn across the state of Louisiana. Their goal is to DOUBLE voter participation amongst black womxn in our state (from about 150k to 300k!) They believe that promoting progressive policies which are rooted in black womxn’s needs and informed by black womxn’s wisdom has the ability to transform the lives of every Louisiana. They serve youth and adult survivors of sexual trauma and are committed to building institutional capacity to prevent and respond to sexual violence in the community.
