constantly see transandrophobia ppl say that by saying transmascs aren't the primary target of terfs and don't get as much shit as a class from them as transfems do is the same as saying terfs are good to transmascs and i feel genuinely insane like literally no one is saying that. visibly brown and nonassimilated latines are the main targets of latine targeted hate but paler latines and white latines also face oppression from them and are not exempt from their violence, we just aren't the primary target. similarly when terfs say transmascs are like animals or need conversion therapy, that is VERY BAD but is not equivalent to the literal actual genocide many advocate for with regards to transfems. there is a nonzero number of dysphoric terfs and wouldbe transmascs who assimilated into terf ideology and this is just factually impossible for any (c)amab person because anyone associated with transfemininity is equated to a rampant sex offender while transmasculinity is equated to stupidity. detrans and female identified transmascs are able to see the light and avoid further violence (not that this is a good thing, its super harmful for the individual psychologically and there's always a threat undercutting this) but no one (c)amab can do this regardless of current identity or sex characteristics because even if they "see the light" and plead mercy they are seen as admitting to BEING SEX CRIMINALS WHO DID MISOGYNISTIC VIOLENCE because breathing while transfem is viewed as that to terfs. it's just fundamentally DIFFERENT and causes much more material harm to transfems rather than transmascs in every conceivable scenario. no one on earth is saying that terfs are allies or friends with transmasc people as a class its just DIFFERENT

thinking abt how you might massively increase immigration without stoking ppl fears abt nonassimilation (imo unfounded, kids who grow up in a country with public schooling seem to be basically inevitably assimilated, for good or bad. i mean, thats sort of what public schooling *is for*). maybe mix it with a social housing program, reserve one or two houses for new immigrants in each set, to minimize the formation of ghettos?

Is the United States of America better served by immigrant assimilation and the melting pot model or the mosaic approach of multiculturalism?

    Not based on any research but my personal observations, the melting pot model of the USA is on the decline to a great extent. It is mostly being replaced by multiculturalism, as most of the new genre of immigrants have centuries-old religiously followed values and do not like to give them up by assimilating into an alien culture.
