I’ve been playing a lot of BlazBlue after tricki- manipula- convincing my friends to play it with me, and I’ve been drawing this girl for her birthday every year - so of course the tradition continues. marriage headcanons with Noel because i want to make her happy

Blazblue/Unib banners got a little touch up from Rider recently. This will be the first post showing that off. I'll update the older posts with them eventually. Male reader assumed because that's easier for me.

This was a bit tough to do while keeping it strictly to marriage headcanons and not just devolve into general relationship HCs. Hopefully this meets your standards.

-Half the time Noel still can't seem to process the fact that you actually willingly, happily married her. No matter how much time passes hearing you call her your wife or someone else call you her husband makes her heart almost stop every time.

-Her abysmal self confidence leads her to feeling like she always needs to pay you back somehow for "putting up with her", thus her main form of affection will be acts of service. It's the only way she can think of showing her love for you without making her want to die of embarrassment.

-Unfortunately this will inevitably result in her wanting to cook for you. Since you don't exactly feel like dying, you have to very gently take cooking duties from her despite her protests. It's the one thing she feels confident in doing which you can only assume is some cruel joke the gods are playing on you.

-Eventually you come to the compromise of Noel ending up as assistant while you take the bulk of the cooking. It's a bit of an experiment to find out what she can do without ruining the food but soon you get a feel for it while keeping her happy.

-Her poetry writing in secrecy seems to only increase as you enter your married life. However despite you two being closer than ever that only makes the thought of you finding her poems even more embarrassing. Still need to work on that self confidence. Maybe one day down the line...

-Your honeymoon was a vacation to Kazamotsu, a very touristy kind of vacation. Taking in all the sights, trying all the famous food. It ended in a few extra pounds for the both of you that would take a bit to work off, but luckily Noel at least is in the military.

-She doesn't have any real siblings in the traditional sense, but Tsubaki, Makoto, and Ragna are basically your siblings-in-laws. While they're mostly pretty chill, Ragna and Tsubaki make it very clear in their own ways what will happen to you if you ever hurt Noel. Poor Makoto is stuck playing the mediator. It's a rather messy family dynamic all around that's going to require quite a bit of patience all around, especially when it comes to the tension between Ragna and Tsubaki.

(Loosely inspired by @brokentrafficknight's Pyrrha birthday posts)

Noel: "Weiss? Have you seen Jaune around--?"

*Noel Vermillion blinks, taking notice of Weiss being without her team...only accompanied by Neptune Vasilias*

Noel: *blinks* "Where's your team?"

Weiss: *irritated* "Apparently, they ditched me to head to Pyrrha's birthday party at SchneeWorld!"

Neptune: "Weiss, I'm sure it was a mix-up."

Weiss: "In reality: Yang, Blake, or Sun 'forgot' my invitation!"

Neptune: "Oh, c'mon! I'm sure neither of 'em would do that to ya."

Noel: *blinks, pondering* "Hold on...Makoto, Tsubaki, Tao, and even Ragna left for SchneeWorld..."

Weiss: *looks at Noel* "Wait, you don't mean--?!"

Shallot: *barging in* "WEISS! We have a problem! My teachers and their families got kidnapped!"

Tifa: *annoyed, walking in after him* "Uh, yeah...not that conclusion, 'genius'. I thought Shinra did the same thing when my friends weren't around...until I remembered what day it was."

Bleiss: *stomps in* "THAT CEREAL CUNT PURPOSEFULLY 'FORGOT' MY INVITE!"

Shallot: "Wait? Invite?" *thinks* "I DIDN'T GET AN INVITE TO SNOWLAND?!"

Weiss: "SchneeWorld, you dunce! And I highly doubt she would invite you or my trollop of a twin to her party!"

Bleiss: "Yet you're here with us, bitch."

Neptune: *looks around* "Wait...I didn't get an invite either!"

Tifa: *annoyed* "I'm sensing a pattern here."

????: "HELP!!"

*Shantae, in elephant form, comes crashing through the wall, shifting back to her humanoid form*

Shantae: *groaning* "Somebody please stop 'em...."

*Ryuko & Satsuki come barging through the fresh hole, fighting one another*

Ryuko: "WHERE'S MAKO?! WHAT DID YA DO WITH HER?!"

Satsuki: "I DIDN'T KIDNAP THAT IMBECILE!!"

Tifa: *grabbing both girls* "Ladies, ladies!" *bonks their heads together* "Enough!"

Ryuko: *rubs her head* "Ow! The fuck, Bar Boobs?!"

Satsuki: *rubs her temple* "Give me one good reason why I shouldn't disembowel you for that?!"

Shantae: *slowly getting up, deadpan* "....Mako went to Pyrrha's party and neither of you was invited."

Ryuko: "THE FUCK?! THAT BITCH!"

Satsuki: *scoffs, sheathing Bakuzan* "Which one? The imbecile or the spartan?"

Ryuko: "PYRRHA! Who do you think?!"

Neptune: "Okay...makes sense why you guys weren't invited...but why me?! I'm a handsome face that any babe would invite parties to. Why would a sexy gladiator lady not let me come?"

Weiss: *clears her throat* "AHEM!"

Neptune: "What?"

Bleiss: *shakes her head* "Such boyfriend material, Frost Tits."

Weiss: "Oh, be quiet!"

Jessica: *knocking on the window from outside* "Guys? Did we miss the party?"

Korra: *outside* "Don't tell me your invites got 'misplaced' too?"

Lucy: *outside* "Hold on...YOU MEAN WE GOT LEFT BEHIND ON PURPOSE?!" *wails*

Shallot: "So...this wasn't an accident?"

Bleiss: "NO SHIT, CAVE ALEIN!"
