HOSPITAL WAITING ROOM - capitolo 1

LA LETTERA

Le mattonelle bianche scintillavano sotto la luce abbagliante e fredda di quelle lampade enormi appese al soffitto, altrettanto bianco.

La luce delle lampade rispecchiava nel pavimento creando tanti piccoli riflessi, che davano un sottotono blu a quel corridoio che non sembrava avere né un inizio, né una fine.

Un ragazzo alto e ossuto con i capelli neri stava aspettando impazientemente, era nervoso. Batteva con frequenza il piede sinistro sul pavimento traslucido. Faceva un rumore assordante in quel silenzio infinito. 

Il ragazzo era vestito in maniera elegante, ma si vedeva che aveva passato molto tempo seduto nel corridoio dell'ospedale ad aspettare, a preoccuparsi, a distruggersi pian piano, ed è per questo che aveva un’aria trasandata, abbandonata a se stessa.

Era seduto su quelle poltrone che si trovano lì, in un limbo, in quel posto dove si aspetta. Si aspetta che qualcuno esca da una porta e ci chiami, o che esca semplicemente dalla porta senza chiamarci, così da poter finalmente andare via. In questo limbo, o ancora meglio, girone infernale, sono presenti delle poltrone imbottite, di un colore indefinito, forse blu, forse nero, che volevano rendere l'idea di essere confortevoli e accoglienti, ma che in realtà erano decisamente scomode. Il nostro soggetto aveva i capelli spettinati e delle occhiaie profonde che gli segnavano il volto. Sul cappotto aveva un bigliettino da visita. Su di esso si intravedeva solo il nome scritto in grassetto “Yakhya Sheripov”.

Diventava sempre più nervoso, come se i suoi pensieri si accumulassero, l’uno dietro l’altro, come un secchio messo sotto un rubinetto che perde acqua, che accumula goccia dopo goccia, fino a che non straborda. Ciò era visibile molto chiaramente nella sua espressione e nei suoi movimenti. 

Il suo telefono cominciò a squillare in una maniera stridente ed interminabile.

All'improvviso si alzò di scatto, come una molla. E si diresse avanti ed indietro per il corridoio con il telefono all'orecchio...

i finally finished my journal. the first entry is from 16.04.2020... but in reality i was using it for just a few months. i began writing more at the end of 2021 and then again last summer. now i have to find an empty noebook - literally now, bc i’m going to  sleep very soon

Teruteru's Mocha cup has flower and plant patterns, Fuyuhiko's coffee cup is light gray with a gold trimming, Peko's tea cup is black with a red sword symbol in the face, and Ibuki's latte cup has colorful sharpie like doodles like those you'd find on a middle schoolers noebook.*

so it was set in a huge ballroom and everyone was dressed up so fancily including me and basically the guy i was dating was the host and was supposed to announce that he and i were gna get married byt instead he said he was gna marry someone else and they had this couple dance then i watched it all happen and escaped cuz i cldnt take it (alexa play traitor by olivia rodrigo)

then i went to and cried on the balcony and all of a sudden i heard "there you are" and someone put a jacket over my shoulders and i turned around and there's mingyu and he let me cry in his arms and i said i wanted to go home so he sneaked me out the venue to his car in the parking lot and he drove me home but i woke up during this part

honestly this sounds like it cld be a plot part of a fic LOL

HELP BUT THIS WOULD BE A REALLY GOOD FIC OR MUSIC VIDEO PLOT 😭😭😭😭😭😭 like the twist of them announcing he would marry someone else which leads you to slip away to an empty balcony so you can calm down while feeling the night breeze on your face, while mingyu’s been watching this all go down and follows you to see if you’re okay </3 honestly this could work both as a f2l or strangers to lovers fic 🤧🤧🤧🤧

so i was tagged by @belovedsheith. i’ve never done this one before, so this should be (will hopefully be) interesting!

What is your total posted word count on AO3? (Go to your Works, then click Statistics.)

773,016 --- but that includes a number of unfinished individual fics (5) and unfinished series (3). so take that number with a grain of salt.

How often do you write?

there is no schedule, and little rhyme or reason. i pretty much allow myself to be at the mercy of whim and the muses. (and at the mercy of health, mental and physical.)

Do you have a routine for writing?

i don’t have a routine, but i have a preferred method? i used to carry a 5″x7″ noebook everywhere, and would stop to scribble down in purple ballpoint ink every scrap of a thought that entered my head; sometimes those scaps would run for thousasnds of words and i’d end up missing my subway or bus stop and riding to the end of the line so i could keep writing.

in a way, i used to “tell” my ideas to the writing journals and let them evolve into actual fic as the pages went on. i’ve given up the notebooks but i still feel happier when i’m telling the story to someone. i don’t have anyone at the moment (one person disappeared and another got sick/bored of it), but ideally i’ll talk with someone about ideas until the ideas slide into fic (dialogue, action, etc. starting to flow naturally from general description/exposition language).

What’s your favorite kinks/tropes/pairing?

i’m pretty sure that for me it all comes down to breathing (not just breathplay but breathing) and gazing. gazing into one another’s eyes, gazing into the unknown future, gazing at the stars and the spaces between them...

i don’t use “mutuality” as a tag much, but that’s another big one: mutual admiration, mutual respect, mutual trust, mutual pining, mutual love. 

i’m not super kinky these days? even when i am, i don’t know how consistent i am in my tastes. but i do love the d/s in bdsm (not just sexual). i don’t like didacticism when it comes to d/s, though, and a lot of conventional/traditional d/s falls flat for me irl as well as in fic. so i’m not sure the way i like to write d/s lands with a wide audience. (i think i’m trying to say no one should read anything i’ve posted just on the basis of a d/s tag... :3)

for pairings, chris/miyuki (daiya) and keith/shiro (vld) are my forever ships. also, when i say “the ot3,″ i always and will forever mean arata/chihaya/taichi (chihayafuru).

Do you have a favorite fic of yours?

i love all my babies. :3 

but maybe fall in light (south park, craig/clyde). it’s the only time i’ve done a big bang and i ended up putting so much of myself into it. that fic consumed me for months and will always have a special place in my heart. just, that craig---i am really fond and protective of that craig.

at the other end of the spectrum, there’s awake (daiya no a, chris/miyuki). a swift and smooth writing experience that required almost no editing. i let the prompt uncurl and unfold in my mind for a couple of weeks, and then out poured 761 words of exactly what i think of and feel about the ship of my heart.

Your fic with the most kudos?

i don’t have to look this up; it’s not even close.

okumura yukio is a life-ruiner (ao no exorcist, rin/yukio). pure, graphic, unapologetic underage twincest. no regrets.

Anything you don’t like about your writing?

well, i don’t like that my fics don’t seem to reach many readers anymore or resonate with the ones who do read them... but that’s not really the question.

i would like to be better at physical descriptions, for sure. also, i’m mostly a short story writer and i’m happy with characterization/character development as plot---but i’d like to work on more traditional plotty narratives.

Now something you do like?

most of the time i think i’m good at emotional connections between characters, and emotions in general. showing them without saying them (though obviously saying them has its own place and merit). letting the reader figure out the emtional score as the characters themselves do, and often before the characters do (so you get an almost cathartic relief when they figure things out?) 

maybe i flatter myself too much; maybe that’s just what i want to do, hope i’m doing.

i also think i tend towards a lyrical rather than prosaic style (more evident in some pieces than in others), and i like that about my own stuff.

AMBIENTAÇÃO: feira de cursos da Université d’Harcourt.

ORIENTAÇÕES GERAIS:

MARGOT e GENEVIÈVE estão na faculdade conhecendo os clubes e os cursos. Quando elas param em uma das tendas, o nome “Bastien Maizière” chama atenção de GENEVIÈVE que, após contar da importância disso para MARGOT, convence-a a tentar investigar melhor aquilo, especialmente depois de ter dado com os burros n’água e não ter conseguido nada do que procurava no gabinete da mãe.

As duas ficam observando BASTIEN e, depois que ele sai da tenda e do ginásio, seguem ele até seu dormitório. As duas tentam passar despercebidas enquanto ficam nas áreas comuns do dormitório. Quando BASTIEN vai embora, as meninas arrombam a porta dele para entrar.

Dentro do dormitório, MARGOT fica procurando por qualquer coisa que seja útil e encontra o noebook do garoto. GENEVIÈVE, que estava preparada para pegar arquivos e informações do escritório da sua mãe naquele dia, pega um pen drive e transfere todos os conteúdos e arquivos para ele, esperando que tivesse alguma coisa útil.

Depois de analisar os arquivos, as duas conseguem encontrar o número de protocolo do processo administrativo disciplinar e acessar, descobrindo que o processo era por ter filmado a intimidade de uma garota e ter vazado (veja mais na notícia aqui). Além disso, elas também encontram anotações sobre diversos campos e inclusive sobre o livro “Arte da Guerra” em uma pasta nomeada “ILUMINISMO”.  

OBJETIVOS: encontrar um dos membros da sociedade; conversar sobre as informações que já tem (dos convites, da ficha de todos os meninos); seguir o garoto até o dormitório; pegar as informações do notebook.

INFORMAÇÕES DESCOBERTAS: sobre o que foi o processo administrativo; que há definitivamente um grupo na universidade que fez o uso do “Arte da Guerra” e um deles pode ser o anônimo.
