i’m still thinking about the fact that in the netflix show dex had playing cards in his safe, which means he probably knew what he could do with them (throw them into peoples faces and cause maxium carnage) and we never got to see it.
bullseye with throwing cards on netflix would’ve been so gorey and beautiful, if (WHEN) he comes back it’ll probably be cut away at the last moment whenever he throws something (thanks disney). i was robbed and i don’t think i’ll ever get over it

You know what? Fuck it. Four Rooms is fun as hell, yes, even the first two parts that aren't written and directed by two great directors people are afraid to criticise. I don't care what the critics say, I had a lot of fun watching it.
#four rooms#it's because I am always on the side of the critis somehow I mean#that's what I want to for a job being a cinema critic#and I usually have no problem having different opinions on movie from the majority of people#but in cases like this I am just...I don't know I feel genuinely like I am on a whole another wavelength#I have read multiple people on letterbox calling it an anticomedy#I won't even assess how it feels they all took inspiration from the same review but okay#but the point is no the movie is literally not that bad and you know why I can say that?#Because I don't think someone could look at me in the eye and tell four rooms is worse than the latest Netflix raunchy comedy#or some of the worst Adam Sandler production#it's literally not you don't need to be dramatic nobody is saying it's a masterpiece but god the snobbery#tim roth delivers and you can fight me to death on that#Also Madonna won a prize for worst actress??? If she had 7 lines jn the whole movie it was a lot#And I agree that the first segment is probably the weakest one and the Rodriguez segment is maybe the best one#But I do feel like a lot of people are just afraid to say anything bad on Tarantino and Rodriguez so they're just going#'the movie is shit but they were goos obviously!'#Four rooms is not perfect by all means and I do think it could have given a lot more but fuck it was alright it was fun#I hadn't had good laugh in a while#and Tim Roth again is hysterical#I am sorry for the pented up frustration#I don't want all people to liked this movie I just wished it wasn't one of those movies it's cool to snob

#google has helpfully flagged this as a 'conspiracy theory' which let me know it was definitely worth paying attention to#sometimes a conspiracy theory turns out to be flatearth-tier but anything those in control are putting effort into discrediting#concerns me and makes me look deeper. if they're going to the effort to control the discourse there's something there that#threatens them. anything google calls a conspiracy theory is worth a closer look. it often means someone has gotten too close to the truth.#she's brave to be talking about this shit they basically cancelled her and forced her to apologize for talking about how they want#to take our guns and the media is lying to you and stirring up fear so they can get away with passing gun control#like wtf leftists should be all about gun rights. a disarmed population is totally at the mercy of the state's authority#it's not very punk to surrender entirely to regimes in power and let the only people with guns be the police#like c'mon guys we need guns. and it's like drugs. they exist anyway. better they do so in broad daylight than in the shadows#they let adam curits talk about this stuff for some reason and no one calls him a conspiracy theorist idk why but there's a reason#i guess his stuff is not a threat to them bc it's dense and heady and seven hours long so the masses will never absorb it#ex punk rocker yelling about new world order in plain language monologues of digestible length is a much bigger threat#i swear there are secretly fifty people in control of everything and their entire aim is to make sure it stays that way no matter what#but it's really gross how obvious it's getting like the whole system just funnels money straight to the top and they don't even care#about hiding it anymore they're just doing it out in open and denying objective reality with confidence it's too much sometimes#i swear i can feel my grasp on reality deteriorating. it's as if there were a loud buzzing in the out of doors that was getting#louder every day and nobody ever said anything to acknowledge that it was real nobody talked about hearing the buzzing but it just#keeps getting louder and i'm finally like wtf is with this buzzing and everyone gets mad at me for shouting over their netflix show#that they weren't really enjoying in the first place. like no one is happy in the modern world. why can't we talk about why without#turning against each other. that's why doug saying 'maybe we're all the same' is such a big deal to me. anyone who is trying to unite us#is doing important work. that trump supporter is not the enemy. they are the victim just like you.

ice skating needs the glee/pitch perfect treatment it needs to be the subject of a piece of campy pop culture that sells it as something fun and intense and kinda dumb and pointless but also very important to the people it brings together. that’s what will save the sport actually.

I think people who dictate what Wednesday Addams would or wouldn’t do, what Wednesday would or wouldn’t say, etc. are weird. Relatively speaking, she’s a fictional character, meaning her actions are only planned through a script. We truly have no idea how she could react to a phrase or a gesture until she goes through that phrase or gesture through the script. Especially if you comment “she would not do xyz” under someone else’s post. You’re just ruining the fun for people, why? So you can force your own opinion of a character onto someone else?
Her actions are up for interpretation. She’s not real, stop trying to dictate how people view her. “She wouldn’t listen to this genre of music!” “She wouldn’t wear this style of clothing!” “She wouldn’t date this person!” In the end, who gives a shit? Let people have fun. As long as it doesn’t promote genuinely awful ideologies or behaviors, leave people alone. You’re free to dislike a headcanon, but don’t try to dictate what others believe about her. You ruin the spirit of enjoying a show/book/movie/game/etc. for everyone by doing that. You give the hobby of participating in a fandom a bad name.
