Ikemen Sengoku Modern AU
Boys as various university professors or teachers--
I'm not elaborating it much for now
Maybe there would be updates idk--
Oda forces
→ Nobunaga Oda (Academic Head/Economics teacher)
He's gonna have a separate drawer in his office FILLED with candies
That drawer has a lock on it all the time (he doesn't want Hideyoshi to find out about it)
→ Hideyoshi Toyotomi (history teacher)
Really looks up to the department head
Very patient with all the students and will help each and every single one of them :)
You'd see him in the halls A LOT
so be careful. If you get caught breaking the rules you WILL be lectured by him
He keeps a check on every teacher's health too- also he would tell you to take it easy if he sees that you're not well
Also pretty good at giving motivational speech
→ Mitsuhide Akechi (computer science)
Okay hear me out. This man will be GOOD with computers and technology.
The event stories prove it
He's the teacher you'll go to every time there's something wrong with your iPad
And he WILL tease you endlessly
→ Mitsunari Ishida (Maths teacher)
For obvious reasons.
Our clumsy but very smart angel.
He'll be very kind. And calmly teach you if you're having trouble with a math problem no matter how many times you come to him
But no matter what you do, you won't be able to get his attention if he's reading
The janitor has caught him several times in the library reading books in a secluded corner when it's late in the night
Librarians sometimes have to kick him out
→ Masamune Date (food tech)
Yes.
I think it's self explanatory (I don't have anything to say about him I'm sorry-)
You'd always. ALWAYS. catch him at the farmers market.
→ Ieyasu Tokugawa (Biology/ chemistry teacher)
Yes.
He knows his stuff when it comes to plant and medicine
He'd be very cranky if you come to his with a question but he will answer it in full detail
He does NOT like the math teacher
The math teacher and the physics teacher seem to constantly fawn over him which he does not enjoy.
→ Keiji Maeda (Drama/music teacher)
Pretty self explanatory this one.
He and the literature teacher are good friends :3
Best friends in fact.
He's the cheery teacher. Very enthusiastic.
→ Ranmaru Mori (teacher assistant)
The principal's assistant to be more specific
Running around doing errands for Nobunaga. Looks very cute and is very helpful
The students love him
Kasugayama forces
→ Kenshin Uesugi (specialist PE teacher/sports department head)
Martial arts. Fencing. Horse riding. Swimming. Sword fighting. You name it
This guys knows EVERYTHING
he trains students in these sports for competitions.
The group sports activities go to the other gym teacher
Very cold. And seems very rude and icy. But will teach you if you ask for his help
Also do NOT expect him to go easy on you
It's your first time learning judo? Will TOO bad. You will be thoroughly beaten up by this guy
→Shingen Takeda (DT/department head)
The hot teacher who's at the carpentry workshop
Many students attend the workshop JUST to see him
Very nice. Flirt to everything that breathes
Loves sweets just like the academics Department head.
But doesn't like Nobunaga at all
→Yukimura Sanada (PE teacher)
The worst PE teacher you'll ever have 💀
Doesn't know how to talk to students or teachers which result in him getting some pretty snarky comments
Is in charge of preparing sports teams for sports competitions
Does not like Kenshin's guys but has to put up with them
He's best friends with the physics teacher and they sometimes show experiments together (yuki is the lab rat of course)
→Sasuke Sarutoki (Physics teacher)
That fun physics teacher that shows experiments in the class
Uses memes in his lectures
All his lectures are extremely fun
The students are often confused as to how does he always has a straight face
The PE teacher is his guinea pig at times
The sports department head has some beef with him for some reason
→ Yoshimoto Imagawa (Arts teacher)
The guy LOVES art and appreciates it to his fullest
This job was MEANT for him
Will appreciate your art and also give you pointers if you ask for it
Very charming
Students fawn over him
Has a very soothing voice along with a pretty face
→ Kanetsugu Naoe (Literature teacher)
Teaches English along with Japanese
Very strict
He's pretty and has little fangs but the students are afraid of him
A very good teacher
But also does some very strict marking in tests
Do not try to fight with him cause he will point out all the grammatic errors
Lone forces
→ Kicho (linguistics teacher)
Teaches other foreign languages
Like French, Chinese, Korean, Spanish, German, arabic, Russian. You name it.
This guy is a genius
He and the computer tech teacher are cousins
Seems very tired always (cough blackholes cough)
→ Motonari Mouri (portugese teacher)
Yes.
No comment on him.
Those who know him well will probably get it.
Will teach you every single curse word there is >:D
→ Kennyo (History teacher/ religious studies)
He does not like how modern studies are taking over
No phones allowed in his class
Very calm but also hella intimidating
Uhhh- does not put up well with the Computer tech teacher's antiques
Usually eats alone outside with cats.
Animals love him <3
Mai
→ Mai Mitsuzaki (Textiles teacher)
Das right. Mah girl gets her own category
The most fashionable teacher on campus
Everyone loves her
Shingen, Masa and she are the DT trio
Will teach you all there is to know about clothes and fashion

This is just a fun little thing I decided to do because of how much knowledge I have of some characters and I love sharing. Some of these are pretty obvious, not all the characters will be here so if you want to add the facts you know that aren’t here, feel free to do so!
Fun little facts about the warlords.
Oda forces.
Nobunaga Oda.
Whenever he goes out to get Konpeito from the kitchen, he wears a hood on his head to try and disguise himself.
He treats bearsace as a sacred artifact, on one event a kid asks if they can play with bearsace and he just said no because it was important to him.
Hideyoshi Toyotomi.
Hideyoshi has a group of lady friends with whom he has tea with, they admire him and definitely have a crush, but they are more like friends.
Hideyoshi isn’t fond of sweets, but he doesn’t mind eating them if it’s with someone special.
Ieyasu Tokugawa.
He studies medicine and treats many people, but he is better as a veterinarian as he treats harmed animals, even if he doesn’t admit it.
He likes hot sauce to a dangerous degree, it’s never hot enough for him.
Mitsuhide Akechi.
It has been said that, the reason why he he eats food all mixed up in a weird way is because he can’t taste it.
In one audio drama, mitsuhide purposely competed with Hideyoshi for the right hand man position just so that Hideyoshi realized how much he deserves that position. (He also cooked for Nobunaga and was proud of his monstrosity.
Mitsunari Ishida.
He is the only one who has ever come close to beating Nobunaga in Go, which shows how smart he is.
Even though they have completely different personalities, Mitsunari and Mitsuhide are often studying together, they both are like the Mitsu duo. They also have eating problems. Mitsuhide because of how he mixes food badly and Mitsunari because he just forgets to eat while studying.
Masamune Date.
In one audio drama, Masamune challenges shingen when they see each other at the market in azuchi, but when shingen suggests they eat before fighting, masamune decides to take over the kitchen to cook for them both.
In another audio drama, focusing on the characters “Yandere” characteristics, masamune showed to fit the role surprisingly well.
Ranmaru Mori.
In an audio drama, Ranmaru revealed to be very skilled with acting. More specifically, he knows how to pretend to be a girl very well. His voice actor was able to imitate a feminine voice pretty well.
Uesugi-Takeda alliance.
Kenshin Uesugi.
Kenshin saved three bunnies’ lives by simply saying he didn’t feel like eating rabbit soup, and since then those three bunnies keep following him while multiplying.
There is a version of ikemen sengoku that was only released in Japan, on the PS vita. Only a few selected characters were chosen to have routes on it and kenshin is one of them. On it, there is a piece of story where kenshin goes into the future and manages to control a mafia group. (I don’t know Japanese, so I don’t know how accurate this is, but there are cgs of him in a modern attire from the ps vita game).
Shingen Takeda.
There are many things that could be said about him, but one of my favorites is the fact that shingen is one of the few characters that actually swear in the game.
During an audio drama, he reveals that he likes when a girl ties her hair when entering the hot springs, mostly because he likes seeing the nape of their neck getting flushed.
Just an extra one because I love him, shingen has shown that he likes when people, regardless of them being women or men, compliment him. During the event “the art of seduction” where he teaches the other warlords how to flirt, he seems to appreciate when Mitsunari compliments him as a teacher.
Yukimura Sanada.
Yukimura had a different voice actor the start of the game, but he was changed. You can still see his previous voice actor voicing him in the audio drama he is in with Shingen and Yoshimoto.
He has a hard time finding what to talk about with Yoshimoto, to the point where he starts talking about spears and which ones are his preference, Yoshimoto finds the subject boring.
Yoshimoto Imagawa.
Yoshimoto is part of the few characters that were featured in the Ps vita, meaning he had a route out way before it was released in the original game.
I don’t know Japanese and never managed to find a translation for his route in the ps vita version, but there are cgs of him with Mc in the modern era.
Sasuke.
Sasuke was also featured in the audio drama with kenshin and Masamune about the Yandere concept, and was actually spooked by how good he is at that role.
Lone forces.
Motonari Mouri.
Motonari is fluent in many languages, including Portuguese (my first language is Portuguese, so it’s funny seeing him speak in Portuguese sometimes)
He wasn’t in any audio drama, but was first featured in the ikemen sengoku anime.
Kennyo.
Kennyo naturally attracts wild animals because of the energy he has, they seem to sense that Kennyo is a good person.
Kennyo has acted as a father for Ranmaru since he was a child, which would explain why Ranmaru is so dedicated towards Kennyo.

Tempest in Time Prologue Part 2 - Becoming Katsu
Tumblr media
In which Katsu trains as a courier, and encounters Kyubei, Yoshimoto, and Ieyasu. Part one HERE.
Maid… I mentally grumbled to myself, several weeks later as I scrubbed the floor of the training building, while his student/ apprentices – three young men about my age – drilled with each other and Aki in hand to hand combat.
I wasn’t sure what was the worst thing about being a housemaid – the work itself, which was an unending cycle of scrubbing floors, dusting, cleaning, cooking, and then floors again – or the utter tedium of it all.
I stared idly at the young men – Iekane, Takauji, and Okitane – while their training switched from hand to hand, to swordsmanship. Iekane looked in our direction and winked.
My fellow maid, Niwa, sighed. “They’re so handsome.”
“Eh, I suppose.” Iekane, with his floppy dark hair and easy smile was pretty hot, and the other two were definitely built (except poor Takauji’s ears stuck out, and he was often the subject of teasing from the other two). Due to my ill-fitting maid’s clothing and hacked up hair (Fume, the chatelaine, had ruthlessly chopped the “devil’s” turquoise streaks out of it) I couldn’t imagine that any of them would be interested in me. Anyway, I was more envious of their freedom to fight and run, while Niwa and I were stuck –
“Aren’t you girls finished yet?” Stop flirting with the boys and come help in the kitchen!” Fume came out to chide us both.
Ok. Fume was the worst thing about being a housemaid. Not only did she chop off my hair, but she refused to use my name, telling me that “Katsuko” sounded odd, it was too grand a name for a maid. To Fume, I was “Kaya,” if she wanted my attention, or “that devil girl” if she was talking about me behind my back. She never abused me, but I was constantly aware of her disapproval.
She was glaring at me, unfairly, because I hadn’t been the one flirting.
Niwa giggled some more, but I felt myself flush with resentment. I didn’t want to flirt with “the boys,” but I did want to play alongside them - especially when they got to work out on an apparatus that trained them to climb walls, swing on beams across the ceiling, and flip down again.
I can do that better, I thought to myself when Takauji stumbled and fell on his climb down.
“Girls.” Fume’s warning was punctuated with the shaking of her knife. And while she had never stabbed anyone with it (yet), she could, if she was really in a #mood, slap us with the flat sideo the blade.
With one last look at the apparatus, I picked up my rags, and retreated to the main house, where I spent the rest of the afternoon stripping willow bark to replenish Fume’s supplies for medicinal tea.
It wasn’t merely the tedium. I also chafed at my inability to find out what happened to Toshiie. I knew enough to understand that I would never survive outside Aki’s manor if I took off to look for him myself. Aki might have the resources to help, but every time I sought him out to ask, he was already busy with his students or entertaining a wide variety of messengers and visitors. Or… not around at all.
Tumblr media
A clatter awoke me from my sleep. As usual, there was that moment of limbo when I managed to forget that I’d been hurtled into another era. Then my fingers smoothed the rough fibers of my blanket, and I remembered.
But… it wasn’t morning. I looked over at Niwa’s half of the room, and saw her guiltily fumbling with the lantern. She put her fingers to her lips.
“Where are you going?” I kept my voice to a low whisper. Fume’s room was next to ours.
She jerked her head toward the doorway, where Okitane was standing. It looked like all of his things were stuffed in a large leather pack. “We’re leaving. Together. Okitane has a cousin who has an Inn in Himeji, and we’re going there to help run it.”
“Please don’t tell anyone.” Okitane glanced nervously over at the wall that Niwa and my room shared with Fume’s room.
I didn’t care whether or not they ran away… although, ugh, that would mean double work for me. I doubted anyone else would care either, but if they wanted to play out their Romeo and Juliet fantasies, who was I to stop them?
Then, I had a thought. “I won’t tell… but can we make a trade?” I took off my earrings – I had no need for them here- and addressed Okitane. “I want some of your clothes.”
Tumblr media
The next morning, instead of putting on my maid clothes, I got dressed in Okitane’s clothing and presented myself along with Iekane and Takauji.
Aki acted as if he’d been expecting this development. “Is this what you wish?”
I nodded. What his apprentices got to do was more interesting than scrubbing floors.
Takauji bowed to me and introduced himself. “Are you newly arrived?”
Iekane elbowed him. “Idiot. Kaya’s one of Fume’s maids. She’s been here all winter.”
Aki simply nodded at him. “Katsuko will be taking Okitane’s place. When she is training with you, I expect you to treat her as if she were a man. Katsuhira.”
“Katsuhira?” Iekane stated the name like it tasted like ash in his mouth.
Ok, that was kind of a mouthful. “I’m fine if you just call me Katsu.” It was a step up from being called Kaya by Fume anyway. Might was well simplify things.
Aki turned back to me. “Fume will expect that you continue to perform some of your maid’s duties.”
Of course she would.
Tumblr media
“What is it that you actually do?” Aki had suddenly joined me one afternoon while I was practicing archery, and while it was an idle making small talk question, it was something that I had been wondering about for a while. When he wasn’t at ‘the Mountain’ (which is what everyone called his house) training us, sending, and answering letters, he could, and did often disappear for days – weeks even, then return looking like the weight of the world was on his back.
“What is it you think I do?” Typical Aki. Answers a question with another question.
It had been about two years since he had taken me in. That particular day, I had the grounds to myself, as Iekane was delivering messages and Takauji was recovering from a fractured arm sustained when the rope he was climbing broke and sent him hurtling to the ground. Up until this point, I had been learning martial arts, swordsmanship and archery. Not to brag, but I was the best of three of us, in the latter. Though if I were being honest, I was the worst at swordsmanship, so it all balanced out.
“I figured you were some kind of military training for boys that don’t have a clan connection that allows them to apprentice to a cousin or Uncle.” From talking to the others, I knew that Takauji was the son of a merchant who had lost his money after a shipwreck, and Iekane was illegitimate.
“Not a bad guess. However, incorrect.” He waited until I sent my next arrow zipping toward the target. “Don’t forget to account for the wind.”
“I did account for the wind.” I knew enough to do that. “Then it changed.”
“Then you should have accounted for that too.” He handed me another arrow.
How could I account for something that hadn’t happened? Before I could ask him, he simply put his fingers to his lips.
As instructed, I held myself still, waiting a long moment, listening for the rustling of the wind in the long grass, and realized that I could hear it change before I felt it. I let the arrow fly, smiling when it hit the target square in the center.
Aki merely grunted at my success. “Better. And you haven’t hit the stable once today.”
“If you don’t want arrows in the side of the stable, don’t set up the target so close to it.” The punishment for hitting the stable involved fixing the holes that I had put in it, so I worked hard to avoid that fate.
“Let’s see if you can still hit the target if you can’t see it at all.” He took a strip of fabric and used it to blindfold me.
Really? If this was a prelude to telling me I should use the force, I’d… ok, well actually, that would be pretty cool. Rey from The Force Awakens was one of my spirit guides. Rey, and Black Widow.
“Any time now, Katsu.”
Oh, Right.
Whiz. THONK.
And that was the sound of me spending tomorrow afternoon fixing another hole in the stable wall.
“We’ll have to work on that one.” Aki sounded like he was holding back a laugh.
I pulled off the blindfold, and circled back to the previous topic. “What is it that you do?”
“I’m an information broker.” He moved the target about a meter further back.
“A spy.” That made sense of the vast amount of correspondence and the sheer number of messengers who came in and out of the manor. Although it didn’t explain why he hadn’t managed yet to find my brother. You’d think a spy would be better at finding lost people.
“Spies collect information. I know what to do with it. Then, I fix things.”
I wasn’t sure I liked the sound of that. It brought to mind the idea of mafia and assassins. “What do you mean?”
He picked up two stones from the ground and handed one to me. “You see that pear hanging off the tree? Try to knock it down.”
I flung the stone with all my strength to the pear – but it looked like I was a little off course.
CLINK!
Aki had thrown the other stone right after, hit mine, and diverted it back to the pear. The pear shuddered, and fell to the ground. Ok, that took mad skills, and I definitely wanted to learn how to do that.
“Impressive!” I retrieved the pear and offered it to him. He gestured for me to keep it. “I don’t understand though.” I took a bite of the pear, then wiped my chin on my sleeve when the juice attacked me.
“The rock you threw was on the wrong path. I fixed it,” Aki said. “In the same way, sometimes things need a little nudge to get on the correct path.”
“How do you know what is the right path?” And what is the right path? Right for whom?
He patted my shoulder. “That’s where the information comes in, plus research in tactics, strategy, history, and of course shogi.”
Huh. If Aki has an addiction, it’s to the game of shogi. Visitors were always cajoled into a game, and he also has an extra game board set up where he was playing a long slow game by message with one of his frequent correspondents. “What if you’re wrong?”
“I’m never wrong.” He picked up an extra bow and arrow, and shot three arrows into the target, one after another. They all hit the center. “In any case, with Takauji still injured, I’m going to have you start delivering messages and doing some scouting.” He rubbed his chin. “And instruction in tactics… history… shogi… and manners.” He gave a pointed look at where I was again wiping my chin on my sleeve. “You’re becoming rather feral.”
Tumblr media
I enjoyed being a courier. It allowed me to get out the manor and run free from place to place. Aki gifted me with a horse upon my “promotion,” lovely charcoal colored mare with a white crescent on her nose that I named Moonlight. Well, she was a little temperamental, especially in wet weather, but usually we understood each other.
As a messenger, I was fast and I was reliable. Moreover, I learned that not only was I supposed to deliver messages efficiently, but that my job also entailed observing what was going on around me – from the people in the villages to the residents of castles.
Aki always expected a long report of everything I observed, and after a few months, he also began to ask for my interpretation of what I reported. Of course, he was quick to point out when I came to the wrong conclusion.
“No, I doubt Oda’s primary motivation is conquest.” He gestured to a map of disputed territory that had been part of the courier packet. “The words he uses is ‘unite’ the country not ‘subjugate’ it.”
“Mm.” That wasn’t going to happen – well, Nobunaga wouldn’t be the one to accomplish that.  I knew, because he was going to be assassinated in about four years. But to mention that would either get me accused of witchcraft – or plotting the assassination myself.
I had decided not to ever share my origins with anyone here. I was afraid of completely screwing up the timeline – what if I prevented my own birth? Or worse, set the world on a course for a third World War? Honestly, though, after being trapped in this era for so long, my other life was seeming more and more like a dream. What if I had already changed things somehow, and the dreamlike quality of my past (the future) was the result of that?
Realizing that Aki was still waiting for my response, I finally said, “The opinion of the people I’ve talked to in the village is that he’s a ruthless killer.”
“He is ruthless, but fair.” Aki walked over to the table that contained two shogi boards. On one, he was teaching me to play the game – so far I hadn’t managed to defeat him. In my defense, the rules weren’t the same as they were in the future, and I kept getting them mixed up.
On the other board was the on-going game he had been playing with his penpal. Given the speed of the mail (a.k.a me), it was likely going to be another year before they finished, because as far as I could tell, he and his correspondent were evenly matched. Aki studied the board for a long moment, then laughed before making a move, slapping down a tile with unnecessary force. He then wrote down the move in a post-script to the missive he’d already written, and handed it to me.
“I’m beginning to think that the most important parts of these messages are the game moves,” I joked.
“Don’t you read them?” Aki asked, looking surprised.
Dude! “Of course not!” I glared at him, feeling insulted. “I would never read someone else’s mail.”
“I expect you to read them.”  I must have looked shocked at that, because he laughed as he handed me the hood I used to hide my hair when I went out as Katsuhira. “The most important currency in the world is information. Bank some for yourself.”
Ok then.
I started to open the message.
Aki held up his hand in protest. “Not now! I expect you to read it, but to pretend you didn’t.”
Way too complicated, but this was Aki’s dance that I was trying to learn the steps to. “Alright.” I stuffed the message in my pack. “See you next week.” It generally took me just over ten days to make the round trip of my courier run, but the seven-day workweek didn’t exist in this time. Neither did weekends. Instead, weeks were ten days long, and the tenth day was generally considered a rest day – if there wasn’t too much work to be done.
There were few, if any, rest days on The Mountain.
In the stables, I saddled Moonlight, passing Iekane who was returning from a journey up North. He winked and greeted me with a flirtatious smile. I ducked my head to hide my blush. “Kaya. Off on another shogi mission?”
“Yep. Can’t let the game go on without an answer. Any interesting news from Ezo?” He followed me as I led Moonlight out into the yard. She looked ready to get off to a good gallop. So was I.
Iekane escorted me toward the main gates. “Nothing of note.” He glanced around the yard, then pressed a quick kiss on my lips. When I first arrived at Aki’s, Iekane had been engaged to a merchant’s daughter, but that relationship had ended suddenly, and without any explanation on his part. However, Iekane seemed unbothered by it, and had recovered quickly enough to up his flirting game with me.
I wasn’t unaffected by his smiles and winks. So far, we’d only exchanged a few kisses, but we’d also had a few longish conversations, and discussed our families. Both of us were illegitimate – something that we could bond over, although I gathered Iekane at least knew his father’s identity. I’d even told him about my mother (the story heavily edited to remove references to the whole traveled through time thing). Maybe when I got back from Azuchi, we’d take things further.
It was too beautiful of a day to spend too much time daydreaming about Iekane, and I had a long ride ahead of me. As soon as we’d made our way past the more steep and treacherous slope of the mountain, I encouraged Moonlight to up the pace, but - “Girl, what is your problem?” She was certainly being more temperamental than usual, dancing, and shying at ghosts. I gripped the reigns tighter. “Come on, sweetness, we don’t have time for-“
She actually was trying to buck me off.
Houston, we have a problem.
I stopped her and climbed off. Immediately she calmed down. “If you’re trying to tell me I’m too heavy, think again. Rude.”
Upon examination, I found that there was a thorn had gotten caught in the saddle. Most likely when I had changed my balance before encouraging her to gallop, it had driven into her back and scratched her up. “I’m sorry. You were trying to tell me the only way you knew how, and I didn’t listen.” I found some salve in my pack, and ran it over the scrapes. I put a cloth between the saddle and her back.
The cuts would probably heal up by tomorrow or the next day, but as for now…
“Looks like we’re walking.” I led Moonlight along the road. Good thing I had extra food in my bags.
Eventually I reached a village and bartered with a rice farmer to let me sleep in one of his outbuildings overnight. I traded some of Aki’s dried pears for this privilege, and that night I joined him and his wife for dinner. Over the meal, we exchanged stories, and I made them laugh when I told them about the Portuguese merchant who had been flummoxed by chopsticks.
“How did you come in contact with a Portuguese merchant?” the farmer asked.
“My lord sent me to Osaka to purchase some Chinese silk.” was my official answer. The longer answer was that since my best guess about what happened to Toshiie involved a Portuguese (I’d learned that “the nanban” were the Portuguese) ship, I’d become highly motivated to learn the language. Aki agreed that Portuguese was a skill he wanted at least one person in his household to have, and he made arrangements with a Portuguese merchant to stay with us for a few weeks. Francisco hoped to be learning Japanese in return, although he so far, hadn’t been picking it up very well. He had however (and inexplicably) developed a fondness for Fume, and made plans to stay with us over the winter.
“You’ve seen a great many wonders,” the farmer said, with a hopeful tone in his voice.
I had, most of which wouldn’t exist for a few centuries. But the farmers here had never been more than a few kilometers from their villages, so I described Kyoto as best as I could.
“Anyway,” I said later as we lingered over tea. “I’m sure that if you thought about it, you would realize that you’ve seen wonders too.” I’d been thinking of the simple wonders of sunrises, and spring, so the farmer’s answer was all the more surprising.
He scratched his head. “Well, I don’t know about that. My neighbor though, he said he saw the ghost of Uesugi Kenshin riding through the woods.”
“How did he know that is who it was?”
“The eyes. The sword.” The farmer finished his tea, and brought out a bottle of sake to share. “So many legends about a man who’s barely been dead a year. Some say they saw him brought back from death on the battlefield by a demon in a white cloak.”
Tumblr media
As it turned out, Moonlight needed a couple of days before her back had healed enough to ride, but as I didn’t want to stress out my farmer friend by taking too much of his scant food stores (though his farm was actually large for the area, the laws of the day required that he give seventy percent of that to the daimyo)., I got back on the road, and walked her for a couple more days. I had been tempted to leave her temporarily with the farmer, and go on foot, but I knew he couldn’t afford to feed her. At least the weather was still nice - slogging through a rain storm would have been a pain.
Some time I was able to make up by traveling a few hours after dark, but I was still three days late to meet my contact when I got to the booksellers in Azuchi that Aki operated as an information hub. The shop was staffed by an ever-changing stream of Aki’s couriers and former apprentices.
“Katsuhira!” My contact Kyubei looked relieved when we finally connected in front of the shop. “I expected you days ago!”
“Were you worried?” Should I feel flattered that he was concerned, or insulted that he thought I wouldn’t be able to handle any problems? Then again, Kyubei had always struck me as one of those people who was altruistically interested in every person he met, so the concern was probably built into his nature. “I had a slight injury to my horse.” I showed him where the thorn had scratched her back. “We walked for a couple days to give it a chance to heal.”
Kyubei frowned over the injury. “How did a thorn get in there? Do you think someone put it there on purpose?”
“What? No! Why would they?” It wasn’t that I was naïve, but what would be the logic in trying to hurt a lowly messenger? While Aki had enemies, he kept a low enough profile that none of them would go to the trouble of inserting themselves into his household – and if they did, there wouldn’t have been much point in going after me, when Aki was right there. Nor did there seem to be any point in harming me in order to steal the messages I carried. They were all written in codes, and any person wanting the messages translated would need to keep me alive. “I was careless and didn’t check her saddle closely enough.”
Without any further discussion, I passed him Aki’s latest message. Kyubei tucked it away. “Did he tell you to wait for a reply?”
“He didn’t, but since I was already delayed, it would probably be best if I did. He’ll be happy to get the next shogi move, if nothing else.” Anyway, I was hungry, and wouldn’t mind taking the time to get a hot meal in one of the food stalls that lined the market area. I was never invited to follow Kyubei back to his employer – I gathered the man was more secretive than Aki.
“Indeed. My employer as well.” Kyubie smiled. “Good. I’ll return in a couple hours.”
Kyubei headed off, and after I grabbed something to eat, I wandered through Azuchi with a portrait of Toshiie. Azuchi wasn’t close enough to any big ports for this to be any more than shot in the dark, but it did have at least some contact with traders from Hyogo and Osaka. The portrait itself was thanks to the efforts of our Portuguese friend Francisco, who had some drawing skills and with only my verbal description, had managed to produce a fairly accurate rendition of what Toshiie had looked like the last time I had seen him.
I stopped at one stall that looked promising – it had a jumble of goods, some which had clearly been acquired by trade from Europe - and showed the portrait to the merchant. “Pardon me, I’m wondering if you’ve ever seen this man.”
The merchant examined the portrait, and shook his head.
“What is this? Are you peddling art now, Tadayo?” came a voice from behind me. I turned to see an elegant man posing languidly against the wall, as if his own slight weight was too much for him.
“No, I’ve told you, Yoshimoto, there’s no profit in art for me,” replied the merchant.
The man – Yoshimoto – flicked open a fan. “Shame.” He turned his gaze to me. “And you, young sir, are you an artist?”
Ha. I can’t even draw a curve. I passed him the portrait, and explained about my search.
“Hm, clever of you to commission a portrait. Unfortunately, this young man does not look familiar.” Yoshimoto excamined the portrait. “How long have you been looking for him?”
“Three years.” I braced myself for the inevitable - Yep… Yoshimoto and the merchant exchanged looks, which clearly said that after all this time, my search was unlikely to end in success. Annoyed, I added. “I will find him. I have to.”
A flash of what looked like pain and regret crossed Yoshimoto’s face. “I wish you the best of luck in your search then. And if I do encounter your brother, is there a way to get the message to you?” He handed the portrait back.
I carefully rolled it up and placed it in my pack. “I’m not often in Azuchi –“
“Nor am I,” Yoshimoto said. “I shouldn’t even be here now, but am drawn to the shops.”
“In that case,” I pointed out Aki’s book shop, “You may send a message to me – Katsuhira – in that shop. They’ll know how to reach me.”
Yoshimoto bowed and promised to keep a look out. I had no idea how much that promise was worth, or if Yoshimoto had much of a memory for faces, but this was better than no help at all.
Tumblr media
By late afternoon, I reconnected with Kyubei, who had brought along not only a message, but also a person. A really grumpy looking man, at that. “That’s a big message,” I joked to Kyubei, although I hoped that I wasn’t going to have to lead this man’s frowning ass all the way back to Aki’s manor.
The grump looked more annoyed at my words. “I’m here to treat your horse.”
Oh, well, then in that case, if Eeyore was here to help Moonlight, then I could put up with his attitude. “Thank you.”
“I’m not doing it for you, I’m doing it for your horse.” Even before Kyubei hastily introduced as him as Tokugawa Ieyasu (Ieyasu – Eeyore. Potato – Potahto) the man was looking at my horse, who sensing an animal lover, batted her eyes at him (I exaggerate… but only by a little).
He schlumped over to Moonlight and examined her back. “I don’t converse with people who mistreat their animals.” He spread some kind of salve over her cuts.
I agreed with the sentiment, but not the accusation. “I don’t mistreat animals. Once I found the thorn, I walked her until it healed enough to ride again.”
Kyubei patted Ieyasu’s arm. “I’m sure he didn’t mean you purposefully hurt her.”
“Don’t put words in my mouth.” Ieyasu handed me the container of salve. “Put this on her in the morning, at night, and after every ride.”
“I will.” No reason to antagonize him. He was trying to help, in his dark cloud of a way.

Routes I've done for Ikemen Sengoku, Ikemen Vampire, Ikemen Villains, and Koihana Bakumeiroku. To be updated from time to time.
IkeSen Routes completed:
Masamune: romantic | dramatic | eternal (fav guy and fav routes)
Shingen: romantic | dramatic (not my type but damn I'd be lying if I say I didn't fall for him in his routes)
Nobunaga: romantic | dramatic (rather have you as an older brother figure, but you sure can be fun). sign me up for a late-night konpeito heist.
Sasuke: Romantic & Dramatic (routes SUPER fun. Guy's also super fun). Preferance: dramatic. Side story for both full love bonus is awesome!
Mitsunari: Romantic (the incomparable angel)
Keiji: Romantic (feeling: complicated. Sometimes I hate him, other times I like him well enough. His route is different but in a good way I guess?)
Kenshin: Romantic, Dramatic. (was worried but I think I like MC in his route. Ngl did fall for him despite his yandere-ing. Although, it's probably because I expected worse). Prefer his romantic cause we get to see them all plotting to bring him back, Mai as the Goddess of War. Ah, that was such a cool scene.
Motonari: Dramatic | Romantic (boy is he wild. But nope, not my thing - looks hot tho). I surprised myself by finishing both his routes this early hahah. Liked him much better on my 2nd gameplay but gosh will I always dislike that first couple of chapters.
Hideyoshi: Romantic | Dramatic (an extremely much needed break after the prev 3 guys. Worried I would dislike his route. But I love it. Him too. Very much. Fav parts: MC saying she will not send him a letter & her threatening Mitsuhide)
Ieyasu: Dramatic | Romantic Annnd that's my first Ieyasu route completed (dramatic). Enjoyed it more than I expected since Tsunderes aren't my thing, I was worried that I would've dislike his route but it turns out alright. I am a little sad that there weren't much of Sasuke fanboying moments but yeah overall things are still fine. Not sure yet how it goes in my ranking of routes I've done tho. Romatic: i've left it too long between reading and writing this.. so I'm sorry but I really forgot how things go. BUT. I think I enjoyed dramatic more.
Yoshimoto: Romantic (very dramatic. And it's not even the dramatic route. I love it.)
Yukimura: Dramatic | Dramatic (sometimes, you need to get yourself an awkward, tactless, yet super sweet guy who'll chase after you and call you dummy. Not fav LI but my 2nd fav route to play).
Mitsuhide: romantic. ohoho. I am warming up to this guy.
Kanetsugu: dramatic | romantic. His smile. His SMILE. I melt every time. Both routes were awesome! But I'll pick dramatic over romantic cause of that one Azuchi mother hen-ing scene 😂
Kennyo: Dramatic. That was pretty good actually.
IkeVamp Routes completed:
Leonardo: romantic | dramatic (is he the sweetest guy ever or is there someone who competes for this position?)
Vlad: dramatic (quite the bittersweet route. I love him)
Jean: romantic (boy be breaking my heart with his story. Extra love given to this man.)
Napoleon: dramatic. A lovely, lighter, more humorous read (compared to previous two).
Isaac: dramatic & romantic (adorable 100%. Need I say more?)
Dazai: romantic (thoughts tbc)
Faust: dramatic. Welp, this is one dramatic, red-flagged guy. Kidnapping, threats, dubious consent (?). Then again, it's pretty much expected/we've been warned. I donno but I was quite excited about playing his route but now that I've finished it.. I donno. I thought I would've enjoyed it more maybe? (This is why expectations are dangerous). I like the drama esp that beginning and learning about his softer sides especially with his interactions with the orphanage children (I love these scenes) but, I'm feeling like there's something.. missing. Maybe it's just me these past month because it has been a very busy, full of change month for me outside of my otome games. Im just here trying to divide my braincell for everything 🙃 . I'll replay his route once I'm properly settled in.
Arthur: Romantic. I love his route, how complicated things are between him and his past and him and Emma. With their very rocky start, how the comes to be be friends and their feelings, all to aware that both could not hope to fall in love with the other. Despite the complications, things aren't messy (I'm not refering to how Arthur himself's a mess). I think the route's written quite well, and it really does messes with your feelings (I like routes that gives me strong feelings, good and bad)
Theo: Romantic. Love how he's so insistent at going to the future for MC. I haven't seen any in Sengoku (not incl sasuke cause he future person) or other Vampire suitors yet that offers to do so. Overall, I enjoyed his route. I wish there were more..
Shakespeare: Dramatic. It's awesome.
Charles: Romantic. Ugly-crying almost the whole time. Is it my hormones? Is it purely Charles? I'll never truly know. But I love his route, though I'll never forgive cybird for that one chapter for toying with my emotions like that.
Vincent: Dramatic. Pretty lovely. It has that pure, gentle feeling like the man himself. Oh but I didn't think I would hate Shakespeare as much as I did in this route. Well, it's for the plot after all.
Comte: it was a fun ride. Got so many new dresses 😌
Interlude: very enjoyable. Nice seeing lots of friendship/family dynamics and more of everyone
IkeVill routes completed:
William Rex: Mad love - I like the story. Warming up to the game and concepts. Guy wise, it's kinda hard to get a proper sense of him through translation apps but I might put him on my like-as-friends or neutral acquaintance group.
Liam Evans: Both Ends - my fav being Blind End. best boy 😭 the sweetest man I could ever ask for. But oh the pain, the hurt, the tragic backstories. The amount of times I cried.
Harrison Gray: Blind Love - did a speed run through so can't remember much right now since I am updating this like after finishing a whole different route later. But. I remember thinking that it gives the most adventurous feeling between the others I've played.
Elbert Greetia: Mad Love - Quite enjoyed the route, though El's back story was disturbing. Love the whole El, Al, and Kate relationship side of things.
Koihana Bakumeiroku
Hijikata - First route I've ever finished and well, there were parts I was confused about but did figured out in other routes I have not finished playing yet (Kido and Katsu). I liked it.

So, it is time to rank my most favourite Ikesen routes, because I have too many screenshots not to share.
1. Masamune
Tumblr media
This was my first route and it is the sexiest and funniest for me. Also, I tend to find Masamune hot and cute in whatever route I'm playing. Plus, I find that with Masamune, what you see is what you get. Idk, his baggage seems the most relatable.
2. Nobunaga
Tumblr media
His route is just so...steamy. I mean, I love a good Alpha experience and lemme tell you, his route deliveres. Also, his sweet tooth is too adorable.
3. Mitsuhide
Tumblr media
This man's voice is...well it's... I mean...*fans herself*
Honestly, this route is gold - I think it's got everything: plot and - well, not exactly porn, only Nobunaga has that privilege, but a good deal of smexiness. Mitsuhide might be my all time favourite, actually, because the fanfiction for it makes up for the lack of extra spiciness.
4. Ieyasu
Tumblr media
Y'all, this guy. THIS GUY. First off, it was a really sweet romance and secondly, he's a sex fiend. He is. He is a grouchy little sex fiend. I love him.
5. Keiji
Tumblr media
I honestly wished that Keiji's route was a whole lot better than it was. For real. He was actually more interesting in Nobunaga's sequel than in his own route. The premise was pretty cool, but I feel like the story sort of dragged on and there was no proper resolution. Also, his voice kinda let me down.
6. Hideyoshi
Tumblr media
Sorry, Hidemama, yours was just cringe. This route had no business being as spicy as it was. But I can't help but think that if anyone else had said his lines they would have sounded a thousand times better.

Let’s Talk about Prequel of Ikemen Sengoku
Listen, listen! WHAT I THINK WE WILL GOT IN THE PREQUEL OF IKEMEN SENGOKU because the PV IS SO FREAKING AMAZING!!!
I WANT TO BELIEVE, WHAT I SAID IN THIS POST WILL BE THE PART OF SEQUEL. I WANT TO SEE THE INTERACTION BETWEEN IEYASU AND YOSHIMOTO!!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
LIKE, LOOK AT THEM! PRETTY, HOT, AND EMO!!! ASDFGHJKL SIMPING FOR IEYASU AND YOSHIMOTO BE LIKE : /screaming/
CRYING IEYASU!!!
What I think we would see--basically what I want to see--in prequel? (This is just my speculation, so let’s wait until the launching!)
How Yoshimoto ruined Ieyasu's childhood. (what I want to see the most)
Despite being a sweet gentleman, I want to see how brutal and savage Yoshimoto in his glorious days, remembering he was one of the most feared ruler in Japan. Yes, I WANT TO SEE HOW BEASTY YOSHIMOTO WAS!
How Yoshimoto fall maginificently in the hand of Oda. YASHHH YOSHIMOTO VS NOBUNAGA!!!
How Shingen declared war on Kenshin only for Kenshin to let Isehime gp (Idk about this but yeah!)
How Sasuke ended up in Sengoku period.
How Yukimura and Kanetsugu ended up serving their lords now.
And I think for the last, HOW KICHO RELATIONSHIP WITH NOBUNAGA (NOT NOHIME!) and how can he betrayed him.
BUT MOSTLY I WANT TO SEE POINT ONE TO THREE HAPPEN!!!
And I got this one interesting thing!
Tumblr media
Most of Kicho and Nohime characters are associated with butterflies.
As in the picture above. Then there is Nohime’s hair ornament and mushou skills from Samurai Warrior, Nohime’s butterfly tattoo from Sengoku Basara, Saito Kicho’s hair ornament from Nobunaga’s Ambition, Nohime’s attack skiils from Nioh 2, and much more.
Tumblr media
I'm not really sure what it means, but 帰 (ki) means "to return, come back" and 蝶 (chō) means "butterfly". So that’s basically that’s reason. Also in Japan, butterfly is a symbol of good luck, good health, and prosperity.
I feel like it's something very typical and special for Kicho or Nohime. Like when you see butterflies, you will like, “ah, it’s kicho.” or “right, that’s nohime.”
SO? What do you think about the PV, and how deeply you fall more for your suitor? I mean, I REALLY WANTED TO SEE IEYASU SINCE IT’S BEEN A REALLY LONG TIME!!! I MISS HIM:”
Kicho looks so pretty too:” Don’t forget about Yoshimoto and Kenshin:”
How about you?

Batter of tsundere's who will win? Yukimura, Yves, Jonah? Will Silvio be a new addition on the list? And am I missing some other tsuns in ikegames?
Nonny, I'm not going to lie...I'm cutting this because my brain is 95% sentient gutterslime...
I know you meant 'battle' but my filthy brain took the 'batter' and ran with it and I spent thirty whole-ass seconds until it percolated properly wondering which of them would impregnate their MC first.
AHEM.
That aside now. I'm always bad at defining tsuns exactly - does Oliver also count for Ikerev? I would include him. Does Mozart count for Ikevamp? Or maybe Isaac is the better option. Ieyasu from IkeSen? Tsunderes seem to come in two sub-flavors: icy (too sharp tongued and flusterable to be kuudere per se) and hot.
Maybe we just call them 'tsundere and tsun-adjacent' and form a list like such (and yes, these are almost all some of my Best Boys):
Ieyasu
Yukimura
Kanetsugu
Jonah
Oliver
Mozart
Isaac
Yves
Silvio
Shigehira (nobody asked for IkeGen but I'm putting him on because he's A+)
Now, battle how exactly? Purely by dint of who's the best fighter is going to easily leave Yukimura, Kanetsugu, Jonah, Silvio and Shigehira at the top of the pack. I think my money would still be on Yukimura to win - at the very least he's got reach with that polearm that gives him the unfair advantage, and he's the most famous 'warrior' of the group.
But if I had to pick one man who combines all of those things, I think I have to give the crown to Shigehira. He's witty, clever, prickly but the sweetest softest man underneath it all, can go toe to toe with immortal ayakashi on the battlefield, and it doesn't hurt he's pretty as all heck to boot.
Battle of wit? Now you're in a new category, and we're looking at Ieyasu, Kanetsugu, Oliver, and Mozart perhaps. These are the boys that can fire off a zinger at will that will leave a mark...but I think my bet is on Oliver for being able to make everyone else cry in the end and come out viciously victorious.
Battle for who can 'not that I like you or anything!' the hardest? Ieyasu, Yukimura, Yves, Silvio, Jonah, Oliver perhaps...and that's tough. I might have to give that one to Ieyasu?
Battle for my heart??? Now that's harder. Ieyasu, Isaac, and Yves cheat on the 'so cute I want to put little grumpy versions of them in my pocket', Kanetsugu wins for maybe most passionate (seriously folks, did I mention this man suggests a safe word?!?!?). Jonah, Oliver, and Silvio make me laugh the most. Mozart is such a sweetheart and so sensitive I just want to hug him forever.
Pictured: the man in question giving me the stink eye for calling him pretty.

Aaaaaa Thank You so much for the looooooooooooong wait! I was too occupied and writer's block makes me tired more than ever 😭. Thank you so much for the request @ashavazesa ❤❤❤❤❤
A/N: I don't really take ALL Southeast Asia countries in this as I'm not really familiar with it. If you have questions regarding the culture, you may PM me or comment here ❤. Or you may google it, especially Butod 😏.
Lords x Southeast Asia Culture
Nobunaga - Hungry Ghost Festival (Malaysia / Singapore)
-It is a festival to honor the dead and so the gate from hell is opened.
-Mitsuhide: Most probably when the gate from hell is open, there will be Hideyoshi, practically running here and there upon his arrival ( ͡^ ͜ʖ ͡^).
-Masamune: Exactly. With the red carpet and rose petals. Heh.
-Hideyoshi: ಠ_ಠ.... Still- Nobunaga-sama's presence itself is majestic, so I have to agree with both of you *cough*
-Mitsunari: But I don't understand.. Hideyoshi-sama is kind, why would he be in hell (´;д;`)?
-Hideyoshi: Now, now, Mitsunari. Not everyone will go to heaven easily.
-Mitsuhide: Indeed. One of the main reasons why he goes to hell is because he sister-zoned every maiden in the world.
-Hideyoshi: H E Y ( ☉д⊙)!
-Back to Nobunaga: I demand my offering to be a pack of armies, thousands of konpeitos, and MC's candid pictures 😏😏😏😏.
-Shingen: How indecent. To hell with you 😒.
-Kennyo: Go somewhere else, don't take my place 😒.
-Nobunaga: Excuse me? Hell would not be yours as I am the Demon King
-Kennyo: Excuse you 😒. My sin is bigger than yours.
-MC: Is it me or is this a White Girls Sengoku Version ಠ_ಠ?
-Ieyasu: ...Why would anyone want to fight over hell in the first place =_=?
Hideyoshi - Everyone is Addressed as Boss / Uncle / Aunty (Malaysia)
-So he went to a restaurant..
-"Boss. What do you want to order?"
-He look left. And right.
-"Eh Boss. You want to order or not?"
-"Huh? M-me??"
-Then he went to a public place, and his wallet fell from his pocket,
-"Uncle. Excuse me."
-Uncle-- WHAT- He is not THAT OLD-- "Wh- Wha??"
-"Aiya Uncle. Your wallet. Later people take your money how?"
-"Uh--" What kind of language is that anyway??
-Sasuke: If you are wondering what kind of language they speak, it is called as 'Manglish', Hideyoshi-san.
-Hideyoshi: Ma- Ma what?
-Sasuke: Manglish. Malaysian + English casual ways of talking to someone.
-Random person: Eh Boss, excuse me. Do you want to enter or not? If not please move lah! You are blocking the door!
-Hideyoshi: ........*Stressed 101*
Masamune - Butod (Sago Grub) (Malaysia - Sabah)
-Le butod: *Wiggle wiggle wiggle* OwO
-And MC: *FAINTS*
-"So this is a.. Grub from sago tree, you say? And it is recommended to be eaten raw."
-"It looks like MC when she was struggling to get away from my grip when I try to kiss her."
-MC, who has fainted, woke up "Excuse me?? Are you saying that I am-"
-Butod: *Wiggle Wiggle on Masamune's Palm* OwO
-MC: *gasssppp* 😱😱😱😱 YOU..! DON'T TOUCH ME WITH THAT HAND TONIGHT ˚‧º·(˚ ˃̣̣̥A˂̣̣̥ )‧º·˚!
-Masamune: Eeeeh but why? *Pulls its head and eat it raw* Hmm.. Taste like chicken.
-MC: .....*Takes a bottle of sake and shove it into his mouth* Wash it down with this! WASH IT WITH T H I S!
-Masamune: MMMMF 😵😵😵😵!!
Mitsuhide - Chinese New Year Celebrations (Malaysia / Singapore)
-He was offered with lots of CNY treats and of course, he ate it without refusing it.
-Only to get the bewildered reactions from the people around him when he mixed the rice + fish + dumplings + sweet rice balls + spring rolls + glutinous rice cake in one bowl and eat it like nobody's business.
-Hideyoshi: Even if you can't taste it, don't eat it in that way ( ☉д⊙)!!
-"Why Hideyoshi? This foods represents luck, you see. I need this luck so I can always escape from your endless 'love' ( ͡^ ͜ʖ ͡^)."
-Learned about Ang Pow.
-"So you will give away money if you are married, and will receive it if you are not married. I see..."
-MC: What's wrong, Mitsuhide?
-"Hmm? Oh, I was just concerned about Hideyoshi. Because he will give away Ang Pows throughout his life." *Shakes his head* "That's what he gets when he sister-zoned everyone."
-Hideyoshi: ʕʘ̅͜ʘ̅ʔ.....
Ieyasu - Sambal (Hot Relish made with veggies / fruits and spices) (Indonesia)
-At first he was skeptical.
-Until he put some in his dish.
-Cues Ieyasu hugging the Sambal Jar.
-Growls when Masamune said "Can I have a look what they put inside-- Hey, hey, I said I want to have a look, not that I will eat it, lad. Calm down."
-Nobunaga, the usual demon on your shoulder: It's that precious, hmm? So you'd rather choose that than MC?
-MC: Please don't make me an option between food, Nobunaga ಠ_ಠ.
-Mitsuhide: Or maybe.. You can eat her by pouring all over her ( ͡^ ͜ʖ ͡^)?
-MC: I will become a living swollen red bell pepper, no thanks (눈‸눈).
Mitsunari - Vietnam and the amount of motorcyclists on the road (Vietnam)
-The gangs be all flustered with their surroundings, especially Hideyoshi.
-"Stay close, all of you! It's dangerous!"
-Masamune & Mitsuhide: Yes mom ( ͡^ ͜ʖ ͡^)~
-Hideyoshi: Who is your MOM ( ☉д⊙)??
-Sasuke: It's alright, they say you can cross it casually as they will automatically avoid you.
-Hideyoshi: Impossible, isn't it dangerous? Besides, it's too close one after another!
-Sasuke: Here, let me give you an example. *Gives Mitsunari a book and whispered "You may cross now."*
-Our pure angel be like "O3O ooooh~~" And there he goes, walking straight ahead, with head buried in a book.
-Meanwhile, Hideyoshi: *Were pulled by both Masa and Mitsuhide* GAHH LET GO OF ME! MITSUNARIIIII \(Q A Q)/!!!! *GASP* NOOO NOBUNAGA-SAMA DON'T CROSS THE ROAD WHILE EATING YOUR KONPEITOOO!!!
-And Ieyasu, who has been watching Mitsunari who crossed the road safely to the other side: TCH. There's no one that hit him (•ˋ _ ˊ•).
Kenshin: 5 People on one Motorcycle (Indonesia)
-The first thing that he ask Sasuke was...
-"What is that?"
-Sasuke: Oh, as you can see, Kenshin-sama. Some people from a poor family will ride their motorcycle altogether as one. And so,.. Kenshin-sama?
-"Bringing the motorcycle back to the past would cause unnecessary scene, but an idea of 5 people in one ride is not bad. Hm."
-"Imagine, when you go to the battlefield, with 5 people in one horse, you can kill 5 people at one time."
-"Also, if they bring sake supplies, and 1 person hold one sake each, and there's 10 horses, I would've get 500 bottles in an hour."
-Them: ........
-Sasuke: Can't do, Kenshin-sama. Please pity our horse and if you work here, in this era, please don't be a math teacher. You will give a bad example in your class.
-Kenshin: Don't stop what I want to do, Sasuke (눈‸눈). Fine. Let's change that 5 person into me, and the killed people to Shingen instead. So it will be 5 of me, killing Shingen in one strike.
-Shingen: Psssh. If I were you, there will be 5 of me on one horse, so all of us can kiss MC in one go 😏✨✨✨.
-Yukimura: PLEASE STOP GAH MY BRAIN @A@
Shingen - Thailands... and their Kathoey (Thailand)
-Welp. His eyebrows wouldn't stop wiggling here and there to every pretty woman that he spotted.
-'Woman'. Heh.
-Sasuke about to warn him but Kenshin hold him back.
-"Let's teach him a lesson." He said. "It will be interesting." He said.
-And so they go to one place for dinner, when they were surrounded by a bunch of pretty women.
-"Hey handsome~~ wanna have fun with us?"
-Yukimura: Eh- uh- eh- I- I- o//////o
-"Oh come on~~~ *grope*"
-Yukimura: *Genuine Girlish Voice* KYAAAAAAAAA!!! *Fainted with foams*
-Shingen: Now, now, you girls are pretty attempting, but we need to fill our empty stomachs first, you see?
-He was occupied in talking to the girls when Sasuke whispered something to one of them without him realizing it. Then the girl went to Shingen's side, hugging his arm, "Please~ have fun with us~~ I will give you a reward if you say 'Yes'~"
-Shingen, playing along: Oooh? What would that be?
-Le girl, changing her voice into a manly one, "A lick of my lollipop, bro."
-And he fainted next to Yukimura. With foams in his mouth too.
Yukimura - Bali and their.... 'Souvenirs' (Indonesia)
-The first thing that came out from his mouth when he arrived at Bali is "Wh- wh- wh- r-romantic island?? Wh- who would show their intimacy in public--"
-*Shriek to a statue with a peculiar s*x position*
-*Shriek to almost everything*
-*Got stuck in one place until Sasuke had to pulled him out from the shop*
-Sasuke: Forgive me, bro. It's Shingen-sama's idea to enter this shop. It's normal for you to be culture shocked as one of their famous souvenirs is wee wee keychains (´・д・`).
-"Don't say that casually OAO!"
-MC, takes one wee wee display and called out for him, "Yukimura~ come here for a sec. Look! Your wee wee (✿❛◡❛)!"
-"MMMMMCCCCCC ୧( ಠ////Д////ಠ )୨!!!!"
-Also Yukimura: *Gasp* This shop sells your kind! *Points at the restaurant that displays Rolling Pig*
-Scene of Yukimura got slapped by MC unfolds.
Sasuke - Sarawak's Blowpipe (Malaysia - Sarawak)
-Tour guide: One of the ethnicities in Sarawak is Iban people. They are known to hunt their prey with a blowpipe, which contained with a poison-coated needle.
-Sasuke: Oooh. *looks at the blowpipe* It's like detective conan but a poisoned needle ones (´・д・`)✨✨✨
-Tour guide:
-Others:
-Tour guide: Would you like to give a try?
-Sasuke: Yes please (´・д・`)✨✨✨ which target should I shoot it with?
-Tour guide: The balloon, next to the pole in front of you ☺.
-Sasuke: Okay. *Takes a deep breath*
-Kenshin:.......*monotonous voice* Ah, a mosquito. *Kicks Shingen to make him land in front of Sasuke*
-Shingen: H-Hey-- OAO
-Sasuke: Mmf- *Instantly pushed the pipe to shoot something else*
-*Stab*
-Mitsunari who happens to pass by: Hmm? Oh my, I don't remember this book has a needle attached to it (ㆁᴗㆁ✿).
-Other tour members: EEEEEKKKK 😱😱😱
-Ieyasu who also happens to be not to far from the group: Tch. Books from the future must not to be underestimated ಠ_ಠ. It's too thick.

Hello, my dear! I just stumbled upon you yesterday and read a good portion of your archive until 7 AM. I don't know if you know this, but you are an amazing writer. I seriously enjoyed reading everything you've written. If you're still taking requests, might I request two reactions, one for the IkeSen boys (Masamune, Hideyoshi, Nobu, Ieyasu and Yuki) and one for the IkeVamp boys (Comte, Leo, Arthur, Theo, and Napo) in which the femMC gets involved in a girl fight and she goes 21st c on them? ❤️
Hi, hi, dear! ❤ omw staaaaap ya making me blush😳😳😳 thank you so much for the kind words 🌻Thank you so much for the request! Hehehe I got super excited when I saw this!❤🌻 I think I’m gonna try and focus on HC this week! 🔥🦊Lol also as for the other Ikesen bois... I will post that HC tomorrow or the day after, hope you don’t mind, but I combined it with another pretty similar request! 😊🦋Hope you enjoy this, dear! And I hope you have a super good day! ❤
Headcanon: MC getting in a girl fight! feat; Comte, Leo, Arthur, Theo, and Napo
Comte
You and Comte had been in a relationship for a while now, so you were used to the lavish balls and endless nights spent socialising and dancing with your dearest love (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧
Tonight was another one of those occasions
Comte had invited you out to a ball hosted by a dear friend of his, except what he failed to tell you, was that this friend of his was actually a woman
⚆ _ ⚆
Now you were not the type of woman to lose your marbles over Comte having female friends
BUT
This woman was clearly trying to steal your man, right from under your nose (;一_一)
The moment the two of you had arrived at the venue, she was at the door to greet the two of you (◕▿◕✿)
She gave Comte her biggest brightest smile, and when she looked at you he eyes grew dark and her smile turned strained
“and who might this be my dear Comte?” she asked with a forced smile as she looked you up and down (◕⍸ ◕✿)
“Ah my apologies, it seems you have not yet heard the news, this is the love of my life,” Comte gave your cheek a quick kiss as he flashed you a charming smile ƪ(˘⌣˘)ʃ
The hostess of the party was furious, she had, had her eye on Comte since the first day she met him, and now some stranger just swoops in from out of nowhere to steal him away (¬_¬)
UNACCEPTABLE
As the night progressed you and Comte danced and chatted away, you started getting a little thirsty from all the dancing, so you looked up at his golden eyes, “I will be right back, just want to get some water.”
Before Comte could offer to get some for you, you were already off to the drinks table
He chuckled as he watched you weave your way through the crowed
The hostess saw you break away from the crowd and decided that if she were to do something now would be the time.
“Hey you!” the woman yelled as you took a sip of water. “Who do you think you are stealing what is mine.” ╚(ಠ_ಠ)=┐
You looked up at the woman confusion painted on your face, she wasted no time leaning in close and while she dumped a glass of champagne out on top of your head she whispered, “stay away from Comte or else.”
(┛ಠДಠ)┛彡┻━┻
“If you think I am going to stay away from my soulmate, then you have another thing coming.” You glared at the woman threateningly, if she wanted to fight you were ready ᕙ(⇀‸↼‶)ᕗ
The woman blinded by rage, attempted to smack you across the face, little did she know, this wasn’t your first chick fight!
You caught her hand mid-air and pinned it to her back(╯°□°)╯︵( .o.)
The woman then started screaming and tried hitting you with her other hand.
You simply smiled and kicked her knees until they buckled, pinning her to the floor. (─‿‿─)
Just then Comte came over to see what was happening, as sometime during your argument a crowed had started to form around the two of you ( ⚆ _ ⚆ )
Comte’s eyes widened in surprise to see you sitting on top of the woman as you pinned her arms behind her back in an effort to restrain her
He rushed to your side to see if you were okay, “Ma Cherie, are you unhurt, oh dear your hair is all wet, come let’s get you cleaned up.” (◕▿◕✿)
He gently took your hand in his, smiling at the way you managed to take down the woman without even throwing a punch
Arthur
So, it is no secret that before meeting you, Arthur had had a few laps around the block, if you catch my drift (~˘▾˘)~
He was an incredibly well-known flirt and well clearly some woman still didn’t take your relationship with the Arthur seriously
They low key thought you were just some one night stand, yet little did they know Arthur was serious about you (°ロ°)☝
The two of you were leisurely strolling through the markets with Vic
(❍ᴥ❍ʋ)
When suddenly, seemingly out of nowhere a beautiful woman appeared and tackled Arthur in a big hug planting a kiss straight on his lips ʘ‿ʘ
This of course had you pissed (눈_눈)
Arthur gently pushed the lady off him and gave you an apologetic smile before turning back to the woman, “Beth, I would like to introduce you to my dearest love, the one who had stolen this old playboys heart.” ಠ‿↼
The woman scoffed slightly at the statement, “Surely this can’t be true Arthur, I give it two weeks with this drab little thing and you will be out on the rebound.” She looked you up and down, disgust clear as day on her face ¬_¬
“Why don’t you ditch this little girl and come and have some fun with me and the girls,” she said with a flirty unfaltering smile (^̮^)
Before Arthur could do anything you pulled the woman away from Arthur and glared daggers at her, “Perhaps you didn’t hear him, he is in a happily committed relationship and if he is in need of a night companion I am more than capable of fulfilling that role, thank you.” your tone was authoritative and slightly possessive ノಠ_ಠノ
Yet the woman continued, “Oh I heard him alright, and I stick by what I said,” she got up real close and personal as she whispered in a taunting tone, “he will leave you within the week sweetheart and come crawling back to me.” (¬‿¬)
You honestly snapped, and before you knew it you punched her smack in the face, her eyes widened in shock and disbelief for a moment, before a dark look closed over her face  (ノಠ益ಠ)ノ彡┻━┻
She fought back, and soon the two of you were engaged in a full-blown chick fight  (ง'̀-'́)ง
Some bystanders help Arthur in pulling the two of you apart, “Come, love, she is not worth it.” (▀̿Ĺ̯▀̿ ̿)
Arthur now had you held in a tight hug, restraining your arms from throwing any more punches (σ≧∀≦)σ
Soon the police got wind of the fight and started running to the scene with the intention of catching and locking up all those who was involved in causing the ruckus.
Arthur quickly grabbed your hand and dashed away with you trailing behind him, he ducked into one of the alleyway holding you tight in his arms  ᕕ(╯°□°)ᕗ
“You are quite the little bobcat aren’t you love,” he said while looking down at you wearing the most dashing smiles ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
You let out a loud sigh, “I can’t believe I got into a fight, over a flirt none the lest,” you then started laughing, you really couldn’t believe you got into a fight over your possessiveness of your playboy boyfriend  (◕‿◕✿)
Arthur then burst out laughing at the thought of you being so jealous of the woman and fighting for his honour, “ahaha, I must say Luv your jealous face is, A-DOR-A-BLE.” (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
The two of you continued to laugh in the alley over the little incident
Leonardo
You and Leo were out strolling around the streets of Paris helping people, as per usual (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧
You were enjoying the relaxing stroll in the summer sun when all of a sudden a woman bumped into you
She gave you one look up and down and scoffed
As she made her way past you, she whispered in you ear, “filthy commoner.” ◉_◉
Your eyes widened as you looked back and watch her walk-off
Sensing your slight distress Leo squeezed your hand and stole your lips in a quick kiss, “Pay her no mind Cara mia, yes, she clearly is uncomfortable from the stick so far up her butt.” ༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ
You laugh as the Italian tried to lighten the mood with the phrase you had taught him after encountering a very rude woman at one of Comte’s balls
After a full day of helping people you and Leo were exhausted (*ノω-)
The two of you walked back down the familiar road, slowly making your way back to the mansion
When the smell of coffee filled your senses
You smiled over at Leo who also caught a whiff of the delicious hot drink, “Would you like one, Cara mia,” you smiled and nodded finding a park bench to sit on, to rest for a moment (◕‿◕✿)
That is when the rude lady from before stormed up to you
“Found you, you thieving street rat,” you looked at the woman super confused ಠ▃ಠ
“Thought you could steal my brooch and get away with it,” you were now even more confused, but the woman was not backing down getting even closer to your face and spitting out more accusations ლಠ益ಠ)ლ
“Ooooh if you didn’t steal it then what is that?” she said pointing to a small brooch of a butterfly that Leo had gifted you a while back.
“Give it back, and i’ll forget this little incident ever happened” she said in a matter of fact tone as she folded her arms (¬_¬)
You covered the brooch with your hand and thought for a moment, “No this was a gift from my Compagno, it is not my fault you were careless with your belongings” you said meeting her challenging gaze (¬_¬)
That is when the woman reached out and decided to take the brooch by force
Of course things escalated, and you were now in a full-blown fight with the woman (=゚ω゚)つ)゚∀゚)
Leo spotted the two of you fighting and his eyes widened in shock, he paid for the coffee’s and strolled up to where you were fighting (ʘᗩʘ')
He contemplated helping you for a minute but then decided to let you handle the situation on your own, as you were a “strong independent woman.” 。◕‿‿◕。
And strong and independent you definitely were, it took no time at all for you to end the fight and come out victorious
You dusted off your hands and looked at the woman who was now being held back by a companion of her own. The man looked at you apologetically for his partner’s behaviour and accusations, to which you just gave a simple shrug ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
“brava cara mia,” Leo said with a lazy smile as he handed you your coffee
The two of you continued your leisurely walk home, as you told Leo about the few fights you had gotten into back in the future
Theodorus
The two of you were out in the bar as per usual after a long days work at the art gallery
Theo was rather popular among the woman of the bar ಠ_ಠ
Well who wouldn’t be with a wingman like Arthur
The two of you liked each other, yet neither of you had confessed your feeling for each other yet
So in the eyes of the woman at the bar he was a free man (▀̿Ĺ̯▀̿ ̿)
“Oi Theo, watch my drink ill be right back, just need to quickly run to the ladies room.” ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
It wasn’t even two-seconds after your departure, that a woman stole your seat and decided to pounce on the rugged man
Theo being Theo, ignored the woman but when she refused to leave he decided to say something, “If you haven’t noticed mutt that seat is taken,” he glared daggers at the woman as his frown deepened ᕦ(ò_óˇ)ᕤ
“Tsk just what was taking his hondjie so long” (;一_一)
You returned from the bathroom to see a woman laughing and touching Theo’s hand, honestly you were gonna kill that woman and then you were ganna kill Theo ಠ_ಠ
“well well what have we here, I’m gone for a minute, and you already replaced me with a new drinking partner (¬_¬)
The woman turned around and looked at you, you could tell by the redness of her eyes that she was obviously drunk
You reach past her to grab your drink
Thinking this was an attack the woman punched you in the stomach, “bad move” you said gritting your teeth from the pain ╚(ಠ_ಠ)=┐
You then pulled her by the shoulder until she was successful of your seat, not giving up the woman grabbed a glass intending to break it over your head. o(メ・・)=日☆
Luckily for your quick reflexes, you dodged the attack with ease, but the small squabble had now turned into a full-blown brawl.
You were going 21st century on her ass. (*'Д')ノシ)゚ロ゚)
Things got so heated that Theo had to pull the two of you apart and hold you back, thankfully the bartender helped Theo by grabbing hold of the woman. ( ⚆ _ ⚆ )
Theo carried you out the bar like a sack of potatoes, “Geez what are you hondjie, some kind of a junkyard dog.” Although his tone was harsh, he was wearing a big smirk  ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Definitely low key impressed him that you could hold your own in a fight
Napoleon
You and Napoleon were out teaching the street kids how to read and write
It was a nice sunny day and during the break you decided to sit on the park bench and soak up some summer sun (◠‿◠✿)
You watched the children play with Napoleon, jumping on his back and swinging on his arms
Quickly losing interest in climbing all over the former French emperor like a jungle gym some of the kids started to play a game of tag
You smiled watching the children run around with a carefree smiles on their faces (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧ ✧゚・: *ヽ(◕ヮ◕ヽ)
Just then a noble lady came strolling down the street, most likely on her way to some or other fancy boutique (͡ ͡° ͜ つ ͡͡°)
Immersed in the game of tag, a small little girl, ran straight into the woman.
Big doe eyes stared up at the noble lady as the little girl started apologising profusely.  (。◕‿◕。)
The noble lady however wore an incredibly displeased frown on her face, “Why you filthy little street rat, have you any idea who I am.” ಠ_ಠ
The woman than griped her umbrella tightly and swang it back, “Clearly a lashing is in order to compensate for your filthy little hands ruining my expensive dress.”  (ノಠ益ಠ)ノ彡┻━┻
You ran as fast as your feet could carry you, you made it just on time to catch the umbrella before it struck the child, “Why don’t you pick on someone your own size you prissy little missy” you said with a dangerous smile ヾ(⌐■_■)ノ♪
“Don’t threaten me you, you disgusting peasant, perhaps I shall teach the both of you a lesson you won’t soon forget,” the woman let go of the umbrella and swang her fist toward your face
Thankfully you had been spending most of your time with Napoleon an excellent boyfriend and an even better fighter
After weeks of nagging he finally gave you some self-defence classes, even teaching you how to wield a sword
You easily dodged her every attempt to hit you, taunting her every time she failed to land a punch (p゚ロ゚)==p)`д)
Just than you heard Napo call out your name, you turned your attention to him for a second, giving the woman the perfect opening to land a punch
She kicked your knees causing you to go down, as you fell you grabbed hold of the woman pulling her down with you
As the two of you rolled around on the ground, you gave this woman a 21st-century beat down, one which she would never forget.
(╯°□°)╯︵( .o.)
The children stated to circle the two of you, cheering you on (≧∇≦*)
Napoleon legit sprinted to your side and watched you beat down the prissy noble, he honestly had no words
He simply watched as you pinned her down and pushed her face in the dirt, “Yield” you simply said giving the woman an out to the fight.
Yet she remained silent trying her hardest to struggle in your grasp, “Yield and apologise to the little girl for the way you treated her.” (≖︿≖✿)
Eventually the woman relented, “Fine, I yield.” You loosened your grip slightly wearing a smug smile, “and aren’t you forgetting something.”
The noble lady stood up with a huff and dusted herself off, she apologised under her breath and limped off  (T_T)
Napoleon looked at you with a stern expression, “what was this all about nunuche” Before you could explain the little girl ran and tackled you in a hug “Merci for protecting me” (。◕‿◕。)
Napoleon watched the girl hug you and started laughing, “I’m glad to see the self-defence classes paid off,” he ruffled your hair and gave you a big smile, “Good job giving that woman a-, what do you call it again-, ah yes… a twenty-first century smackdown.”(。◕‿◕。)
I hope you enjoyed this, dear! And thanks again for the request! 🦋🌻🌈

Completed otome games, my thoughts, along with my fav characters (last updated: August 22nd 2021)
1. Code Realize - August 2021
Saint-Germain instantly caught my eye, along with Lupin ofc. I was curious about Impey but my friend who lent me her collection of otome games said he was shit. Code Realize was my reintroduction to otome games, and plummeted me into otome hell once more. As soon as I saw Herlock Sholmes, I wanted him as a route, and loved his Future Blessings route.
Saint Germain was my absolute favourite, and his route hurt me in all the right ways. His VA was amazing at conveying the emotion behind certain scenes.
2. Café Enchanté - August 2021
After completing Code Realize, I felt a little lost and didn't know what game to play next. I figured after the pain of some of the stuff in Code Realize, I'd go for something I thought would be a little more fun and a little lighter. Cafe Enchante was next on my list. I was instantly drawn to Misyr and Il, with Il being my first route. I absolutely loved Il, and was traumatized from having my fav boy be the one who was hurt the most again. Although, Misyr is definitely a top contender for most hurt fav as well...
3. Piofiore - August 2021
I continued on with Piofiore right after Cafe Enchante, and instantly knew I was interested in Dante and Yang. I went with Dante first, and was absolutely enamored by him. I was absolutely heartbroken to find out that I didn't get his best ending at first, and contemplated not playing the game for a while. But I decided against it and carried on, using a guide this time. I didn't think anyone else would surpass him in my mind, but boy was I wrong. I quickly fell in love with Yang once I started his route, and his route was the first to make me feel butterflies again in years since I played my last otome game.
However, after playing through all the routes and getting to the finale, I absolutely fell in love with Henri, and I'm honestly shocked that Nicola has left such an impression on me considering I didn't think much of him right after his route. Now it's hard *not* to think about him. But overall, I love all the men pretty equally. I'm super excited for 1926.
4. Collar x Malice - August 2021
I was definitely curious about this one and was tempted to start it multiple times when choosing which game to play next, however I put it off because I didn't like the protagonist being a cop.
The characters are honestly all super loveable, and I think I love them all a bit more equally then I do the Piofiore guys. I was surprised Saeki wasn't a route, until while I was playing Kei or Shiraishi's route when my friend spoiled he was Adonis' leader.
I fell in love with all the characters quite gradually through their stories, with the exception of Shiraishi. I knew he'd be the one I was the most curious and interested in. I was so excited when I finally unlocked his route, and I absolutely loved every single bit of the early half of it. His comments and interactions were hilarious, he was adorable *and* hot.... and he loves cats. What the hell more could I want from a guy? He makes me want to introduce him to my own cats and also makes me want to do mundane and sweet things with him just because he's so sweet and I love him.
I was absolutely heartbroken at his "best" ending, and thinking about his tragic ending hurts my heart. I legitimately only want the best for this man- I only want him to be happy and healthy and not confined to some stupid prison or Adonis...
It also feels strange, but I think I love him best *before* he got a little soft with the protagonist? His quick retorts and harsh comments were hilarious and I loved that so much about him, so I was a bit sad when he grew a bit soft later on.
At the time of writing these past 4 entries, CxM is the latest game I've played, so Shiraishi's story is still super fresh in my mind. I was as obsessed with most of the other men mentioned above as I am with him right now. I'm sure the following entries will contain more love-ramblings like this as I complete more games and add them to the list.
5. Amnesia: Memories - August/September 2021
Toma! Toma! Toma!!!
My first experience with ✨ the cage ✨. I went with Ikki at first, got his normal ending (thaT SHIT WAS SO SAD WTF ;-;) and then went back with a walkthrough for his good ending. But... his route was kinda underwhelming tbh. I liked it as I played it, but looking back now... it really was quite underwhelming. So was Shin's route, who I played after Toma. I was interested in who the culprit was, and was shocked with the reveal tbh. Buuut after playing Toma's route... it was understandable. Although I really wish that Shin's route had more affection in it... it felt more like a mystery with a little bit of romance rather then an otome game.
I played Toma's route after Ikki's, and omfg... Toma was truly an unexpected fav. Hated his good ending tho, idfk why you would be ok with just returning to normal after all of that... but whatever. I would willingly go in that cage I s2g. I LOVED his eyes too! When he gets dark and super possessive, those eyes are just... UGH. Yes please. ❤
I skipped the entirety of Kent's route because I really just don't give a fuck about him. Hes absolutely not my type. I felt bad skipping it, but... in the end I don't really care.
Ukyo was also an unexpected fav- I wad super curious about his route and suspected that all of the "interesting" and bad stuff that I had heard about would happen during his route buuuut... nope. Nothing of the sort. He was so damn sweet, but I will say that uh... insane side of him is kinda hot too. 👀 but omg, the fact that he's a photographer AND so damn dedicated to you and sweet is just... ugh. My heart. Ukyo and Toma definitely became my favs for this game, and I think this is the first time where my first route didn't end up being one of my favourites.
I love how sharp Toma is as well! That he knows so much about you and can easily find out things and such... but also- I really like how dedicated and caring Ukyo is. He's so protective and adorable! I really did feel bad for him during his route. I haven't gotten his normal ending yet, but the title of it is so fucking sad and I don't know if I even wanna go for it.
"Do you know Ukyo?"
6. Bustafellows - September 2021
Honestly, when I started playing Bustafellows I didnt expect to like many characters, if any at all. None of them were particularly appealing to me, at least visually... however, as I played the game, I was drawn to Shu and Mozu, as I found Shu to be the most attractive one of the bunch, and Mozu was interesting to me as a coroner. However, the first character I ended up with was... Crow. I was honestly a little surprised, but didn't care too much. I didn't know who I wanted to go with first, and honestly, as the common route progressed... I found myself liking Crow more.
Crow was the one I liked the least out of everyone, at least visually at first. I really didn't like his hair lmao. But as I read the common route, he really grew on me, and I couldn't help but be sweet to him, so ofc I ended up with his route first... and god, I really love him. He's so stupid and adorable. Like seriously.
I went with whoever the game would give me after Crow, and it gave me Helvetica. With Crow, I really loved his character, but didn't care much for his story. It was the opposite for Helvetica. I enjoyed his story a ton, but not his character. I then carried on with Shu, who I loved entirely. Both his character and story was really really good, and his bad ending... phew. Damn dude.
Mozu came after, and I honestly have mixed feelings about his route. I feel like there really needed to be more romance between him and the MC, but the end of his route where he finds his sister is.... oof. I literally went "thats rough buddy" in my head lmao. I felt so bad for him.
I liked Limbo a lot more then I thought I would as well! He was super adorable and sweet, and the story was pretty good too, so I really enjoyed his route. But overall, I believe Shu and Crow are my favs this time around. I can't believe I didn't like Mozu as much as I thought I would! But I feel like I would have liked him a shitton more if there was more to his route then there was.... smh.
Nightshade - September 2021
I almost immediately jumped right into Nightshade, although with doubts of enjoying it in my mind, as I wasnt in the mood for a historical japan setting. However! I loved the characters, and the story! By the end of it, I was thoroughly angry with the antagonists for hurting my BOYS like that...
The first one I went for was Kuroyuki, who I LOVED. I felt a little bit confused throughout his route, but I still quite enjoyed it. A sweet yandere. Babey boy. I love him.
Next was Chojiro, and oooohhhhh boy.... yeah. That was a little rough. BUT I feel like the story was very well suited for him!!! After that I went with Goemon, who was SO SWEET. For a moment, the "plot twist" had me, but then I realized there was no way he was wasn't trying to trick his old clan/the council.
Hanzo was second last, and definitely an unexpected fav! I didnt find him very attractive at first, but seeing him more and more throughout the routes had him growing on me. And I LOVED him! But... I don't like Ieyasu's treatment towards the end of the route; ordering Hanzo to kill the MC after making us thoroughly believe he was a kind man in every other route.... sigh. But I'm happy that he was able to take just the MC's sash instead of her head. I do like that he also told Hanzo to "go get a wife and come back" hehe.
GOD that scene in the cave with Hanzo where youre both naked... YES. And his hair when its wet!!! Hes so adorable AND hot at the same time???? I love Hanzo. Tbh, I love all of them.
Gekka was the last one I did, but I wish I reversed Hanzo/Gekka's positions. Cause I really, *really* didnt like ending on such a sad ending.... dear god. I really thought I got the bad end or something for a hot minute there. Then Gekka comes in! Ahhhh, honestly I didn't like him much at all at first which is why I saved him for last, but his route.... FUCK man. His route was heart wrenching. And he's so damn sweet. I still don't understand how/why he doesn't try to kill the MC in the other routes after the "protection" "curse" is lifted but whatever. Still, the ending... dear god. And all of their graves being dug up... the box of everyone's hair... jesus christ that was morbid. Even that made me mad. I didnt care much for the blonde haired kid who died first, but everyone else after that had such a good part to the story...but I wonder why Kuroyuki lived in every route?
Either way, Nightshade was a lot better then I thought it would be! I loved it!!! I honestly might go back soon and replay Kuroyuki's route now that I know whats going on and I know the characters.... also wanna replay Hanzo's route! Babey ❤

OA Archive: Falling For You Challenge
I originally planned to do this in chronological order from oldest to newest, with this post being the newest since it’s from late in the summer of 2021, but as I have now played 2/3 of these routes and I’m in the common route for Café Enchanté ready to take back my title as Demon Lordess for yet another Demon Lord (Dot Kareshi forever in my heart) and likely to drop both Gilbert and Nicola down the list of favourites on account of someone I hope will turn out to be the secret route because if he isn’t I will riot and demand his route as vehemently as I need Ieyasu in Nightshade, I thought it’d be funnier to post this one instead of my surprise at liking IkeSen in early 2020.
Falling for You Challenge
I’m writing this as my Switch is out for delivery (hurry up already 🙈), so I am really excited. I also still have a billion people left to play in Hakuoki, so the Harem Villa expansion has been planned for ages. Here’s my top 3 most anticipated LIs of the season for this weekend’s Falling for You challenge.
[B]Sanosuke Harada (Hakuoki)
Shinsengumi games tend to give similar personalities to the same characters (more or less historically accurate, but that’s a topic for another time), so I go into them expecting to absolutely love two characters and dislike two other characters. Of course in Hakuoki I ended up with both of the usually disliked characters becoming really hyped up in my head as I played other routes, and the one of the two left yet to play is Harada (the other is Hijikata if you’re wondering). The glimpses I’ve seen strike the right balance between oniisan gentlemanly type and flirt and I have a serious case of *le hots* to begin with because of the reddish hair. Even with the seiyuu bias, Okita has to fight for his waifu this time around, and not just against Saito as it’s usually the case 👀
[B]Il Fado de Rie (Café Enchanté)
My Switch-owning friends have hyped up this game so much, but there was only ever one LI I wanted to play. Like, if any of said friends lived near me I’d borrow the game because I really just want to play his route. I can’t wait to learn the full extent of the angsty backstory of this pretty otome-loving fallen angel with a strange name. The game may be coming home towards the end of the season but I already can’t wait. Maybe I’ll end up loving the others, we’ll see when I do get it, but for now he is my one and only as far as Café Enchanté is concerned.
[B]Nicola Francesca (Piofiore)
Being Reiji’s Girl through and through, I only had the game in my hands for 2 seconds before he caught my eye (the irony that Morikubo voices someone in this very game and it isn’t him is not lost on me). Of course I am also looking forward to seeing if Yang will be the toxic-boy-I-can’t-admit-to-loving-in-public of my heart, given my penchant for red hair, long hair, and traditional Chinese clothing, but I’m still that little bit more hyped for the flirty-looking guy in a hat. Or, as they’d have said in 1920s Italy, giovanotto.
Thank you for reading 💙

HOT TRAY INCOMING
So, I like to joke that I look like a traditional Japanese doll. But what if the Sengoku Mc DID look cute and pretty like the Japanese doll? What would [suitors of your choice + Nobunaga] comment on her appearance once she asks them “how do I look?”? Or will they take the initiative and mention her appearance on their own accord? 👁️
(During the dating stage pls, when they are comfortable with one another.)
Ello :3
Thankyou for requesting! I really like this one :D
I shall do my best to write it >:3
Mc with a doll face
Both of you were getting ready for a banquet in your shared room. He was changing into his formal kimono while you were giving some finishing touches to your makeup. You see him glancing at you throw the mirror and without turning towards him. You stare at him through the mirror and ask "How do I look?"
• Oda Forces
→Nobunaga Oda
• always the smug one. This guy will always say you look beautiful no matter when you ask him
• he will also show you off in the banquet. Always complimenting your beauty to the guests
• during the banquet you can see him staring at you absently.
→ Hideyoshi Toyotomi

Chasing The Sun
Tumblr media
Summary: The story of how you fell in love with the Devil King’s right hand, Hideyoshi Toyotomi. Tags: Canon-Divergent, Fluff.  *Matchup written for the lovely @kamesama , I hope you enjoy your love story with your suitor.
How on Earth were you able to just sit like that in front of the Devil King? What in the name of the seven heavens and eight hells were you thinking, sitting with your arms crossed and a nonchalant look on your face before the man who was on the quest of ruling all of Japan?
Not only did you suddenly appear in Azuchi, creating a ruckus in the gardens of Lord Nobunaga’s castle, looking for what you called “a cellphone” and “a police station” but you were also giving these grown men a piece of your mind while they looked at you incredulously.
You obviously thought that you were in some sort of play or the universe was pulling some prank on you. Was there something even called time travel?
After taking in your surroundings, everyone was speaking in Japanese and you were somehow able to understand them and speak the language too. Not perfectly, but enough to get by and find yourself before the man that all of Japan feared the most.
Was this a curse or blessing? You looked around you to find the most heartachingly handsome men that were apparently warlords and they were sitting around you in what they called the Council Room. They were:
Bewildered by what you had to say. So… after much explanation from your end and getting some clarity from the panicked Hideyoshi who had been rambling to his Lord (and dropping lots of hints that helped you get to the conclusion of where and when you were), you claim to be from the future?
Either utterly amused or baffled by your behaviour and demeanour before their Lord.
Nobu’s crimson eyes were locked on you with a faint smirk drawn on his lips, Hideyoshi was obviously mortified and had been silenced by a simple “enough” from his Lord, Mitsuhide was snickering joined by Masamune who was trying to muffle his chuckles and Ieyasu rolling his eyes at them for acting like young boys. Mitsunari though? The angel was looking at you like a cat with big wide curious eyes that just wanted to know (play) with you.
The most impressive thing about the whole situation: you were so composed when facing someone with a commanding presence, not even flinching under his studious and heavy gaze. Nobu couldn’t help but be impressed and thought that you would be entertaining to keep by his side.Same shit, different day when it comes to the Devil King. If something entertained him, he would keep it around until he deemed it of no use to him (or that’s what you would think).
Seeing how unfazed you are and how you met him with a passive gaze that challenged something within him. Nobunaga decided to make a bet with you: become a Sengoku woman within less than a month and he will help you find a way home and back to your time. If you didn’t, then you would have to stay in the Sengoku Era and wed him.
First thought: What the actual….
Second thought: This man did have the power to do something like that. Thinking over your non-existing options, you would just have to agree.
Who would even want to marry a man like him? Nothing about him but his appearance was alluring to you in that moment, even though something inside did tell you that he would be more than able to show you a good time but you just pushed that thought to the back of your mind.
The golden-haired annoying beauty, Hideyoshi dared to open his mouth to protest… and being the mischievous Devil King that he was, Nobu put Hide in charge of you and you were officially under his patronage, tutelage or whatever you wanted to call it but from what you’ve seen, you definitely thought that the Sengoku Era was not for you… and most probably, a big nightmare that you were just waiting to wake up from.
While Hideyoshi and even you wanted to protest (yet again), the man called an end to the meeting and winked at you, wishing you good luck.
You weren’t going to be able to become a Sengoku woman, nor were you interested in becoming one, to be completely honest, but you needed a guide. But... Why… Why did it have to be him?
Living in a mansion with a man as fussy as him was going to be a huge headache. By the way he acted, he seemed to possibly be a clean-freak and the super organized micromanager type about everything in his life. But when you arrived at his mansion, you were surprised to be greeted by a swarm of smiles and simply… so much feel-good vibes.
It was hard to pinpoint it but there was this aura that surrounded the warlord, or more like, the ambience would change when he was around. You noticed it even when you followed him through the streets of Azuchi while on the way to his mansion. However, it was still your first day in Azuchi, you would have more time to figure things out later after you’ve had some much needed sleep.
He had the maids prepare the second largest room in his castle, with a hot bath and almost a dozen of kimonos, yukatas of all colours for you to choose from. You didn’t need all of this, anything would do but someone was going over and above… For someone who was so reluctant to have you stay with him and was awfully disgruntled about the prospect of you marrying his Lord, you did not expect to have such a warm welcome into what would become your new home.
In order to get things on track and yeet you out of the Sengoku Era as soon as possible, you woke up to the soft knock on your door and the sound of a man clearing his throat. Not only were you greeted by the sight of the gorgeous man entering your room with the rays of sunlight shining through your window making his hair look like actual tresses of gold and his bright smile, making you feel a weird fuzzy feeling in your chest as he set your breakfast tray before you. What did you deserve to be spoiled like this? It honestly felt like you had woken up in a reverse-harem maid cafe that was actually a bed and breakfast hotel?
Your thoughts completely mislead you. Hideyoshi was taking you through a schedule that he had prepared for you in order to get you accustomed to the current times and its needs. It was a rotation where you spent a day with one warlord every day, acquiring whatever knowledge you could from all of them. Medicine with Ieyasu, History with Mitsunari, Culinary Arts with Masamune, Japanese Language and Art of Dance with Mitsuhide, Horse-back riding with Nobunaga. Etiquette with Hideyoshi.
Cue: your first fight. You butted heads and made his life a living hell. As peaceful and respectful as he tried to be during your discussion with him, you argued with him until he lost his breath and his face turned a bright shade of red (that was surprisingly adorable but you didn’t really care for that in that moment) because you wouldn’t let him dictate things for you. It was YOUR way or no way at all. Nobody else had the right to manage your time for you. That was up to you and you alone and you wouldn’t let some beautiful man change that. He had to concede… not for you, but for his own sanity and for Nobu’s sake. That’s what he told himself at least, but you had the first win. The first to many more to come.
After sorting that out, Hideyoshi took it upon himself to take you on a tour around Azuchi, showing you all the best places to get whatever you needed, even introducing you to every single merchant and townsperson wherever you want. How did he even remember the name of all of these people?
He was… the town’s busybody? No. You could not even find the best word to describe how he was because there were way too many words that you could use, but not one of them would be enough. Anyway, let’s get your thoughts back on track. Not only do all the women, young and old, fawn over him but he was so well-loved because of his good deeds.
His objective was only to show you around before conducting your first lesson with him for the day but you were saved by an old lady that owned a cute little teashop who happened to ask him for help. That was weird. How could someone ask something so menial of a warlord?
Upon pulling both you and him by the hand inside her shop, she went on and on about how she loved his company as he reminded her of her son that she had lost in a war. There was this look in the warlord’s eye that didn’t go unnoticed but you just put a mental note on it. It seemed like Hideyoshi felt indebted to her somehow? And you! Well, you were so warm and nice to the teahouse owner that she took a liking to you and began spoiling you with every type of dango and sweet that her teahouse and Azuchi had to offer.
Four words: Sugar overload + sugar rush.
While you were chatting with the teahouse owner, Hideyoshi had been gently giving you instructions on how to sit, how to eat, how to hold different utensils and what gestures to use when people say certain things. He included all these comments so smoothly in the discussion that by the time you were done eating, your lesson had ended. As Hideyoshi announced that, telling you that “you did very well, all the treats you ate were well-deserved”, he gave you a bright smile and winked at you, which totally, totally did nothing to your heart.
He suggested to the teahouse owner if you could fill in, in his place, since you got along pretty well together and the old lady was almost ecstatic, taking you in her arms out of impulse and thanking you for agreeing to help her. Looks like you had no choice.
For a brief moment, Hideyoshi just stared at you before bursting into jolly laughter. You looked like a child so high on sugar, you were basically radiating energy and there was a spring in your step that you didn’t even have before. He took you by the hand and began running, looking back at you and shouting “Faster!! Time is of the essence. We’re going to chase the sun!” What he was saying made absolutely no sense but you found yourself giggling under your breath, running beside him until you reached the stables, he jumped on his steed and pulled you behind him. “Hold me as tight as you can. Don’t worry, I’m not fragile.” he joked as he clicked his tongue and you flew with the wind, beyond the bounds of Azuchi.
You smiled and looked up at the sky, letting the breeze tickle your skin and your hair flying around you. As you inhaled deeply, you couldn’t help but rejoice in the smell of fresh air and sandalwood… Hideyoshi. So rich and sweet, it made you dreamily sigh without even realizing. When you suddenly came to a stop, Hideyoshi’s warm voice reached your ears and pulled you out of your daydream. He was showing you the sunset as it fell behind Azuchi castle, the colours of dusk blending with the fading flames of the sun that shines over the town that would become your home.
As you were slowly coming down from your high and before you fell asleep on the warlord’s shoulder, you made him promise you to show you the sunrise and he gladly agreed to do so.
The next few days were quite busy for you. Following the schedule that you had set for yourself, you visited the teahouse of the old lady before your classes with “the warlord of the day”, as you called it. you went to help around the old lady, as Hideyoshi had promised on your behalf and began to understand him more, know even more about him without even having to ask any questions. You were also able to reach your own conclusions, after heaps of townspeople swarmed the old lady’s humble teahouse, talking about their different encounters with the Devil King’s right-hand man.
The old lady loved him so much, saw so much in him and was so willing to gush about him as if he were her own son. He was charming…. Incredibly and unbelievably so. Just a simple glance at him and people were beaming at him. He came from the lower class, but you had no idea. He had this humility in his smile even though the way he held himself was graceful and his tone, the words that so eloquently spilled out of those lips of his would never indicate that he grew up as anything other than a nobleman (which made you like him even more).
By the end of the week, the teahouse owner no longer was in need of your services since her daughter, who had been sick, was feeling all better and ready to help around. (Hideyoshi didn’t even tell you but your experience in the teahouse was part of your on-ground training and he didn’t even need to give you more lessons, yet he chose to so he could spend more time with you)
After your first round of so-called lessons with all the warlords, Nobunaga held a banquet in your honour, his own questionable way of formalizing the bet and challenge between you. You weren’t entirely sure whether he was mocking you, testing you or just playing mind games with you but that didn’t stop you from having your own fun. As everyone drank themselves into oblivion and upon discovering that you did not indulge in any type of liquid courage, Masamune had dedicated his night to stuffing your mouth with all the delicacies imaginable, sweet, sour, savoury and even bittersweet. The man was a masterchef genius (that Gordon Ramsay would definitely envy and admire but that’s a discussion for another time/day) and didn’t even mind.
In the corner of the room, your eyes reluctantly yet instinctively crawled to cast a quick look on Hideyoshi. A quick glance wouldn’t be enough to appreciate the sight before your eyes. The Adonis of Azuchi was seated languidly like a beautiful courtesan, intoxicated as she nursed her sake while prattling to others in a banquet. His emerald kimono slid down one shoulder, along with his white haori, slowly and teasingly exposing more of his bare skin,  his chest was almost fully on display, his lips glistening with remnants of sake as the inebriant seeped and coursed in his veins. This was an image that you would have trouble getting out of your head, not that you wanted to. He was utterly breathtaking, the way his lashes fluttered over his cheeks, his eyes slowly falling shut then opening lazily as he fought to stay awake.
Whenever one of his retainers came to take him back to his castle, he moaned and refused to let anyone touch him except for you. All the warlords began chuckling as Hideyoshi gladly let you embrace him in your arms, holding him up with the help of his retainers as he mumbled about sweet nothings that made your heart flutter. “Your hair looks so silky and beautiful, Kame… Would you ever let me touch it or maybe even brush it for you? You smell exquisite, not even the cherry blossoms of Kyoto could rival how sweet your scent is…” His face was dusted in pink from the sake but yours turned red for different reasons. You couldn’t wait to plop him down in his room and get away from him. You could no longer feel your face with him being around you.
As the days went by, you found yourself growing more accustomed to your routine and starting to actually like your life in Azuchi. Yeah, there probably wasn’t any technology around but you still managed to occupy yourself most of the time. Thanks to the fussy warlord who spouted so much nonsense when he was drunk.
One night, he was out drinking with the other warlords after a Council Meeting. You had absolutely no idea what it was about but it seemed like things were stirring up in a nearby area and action would have to be taken soon. That was none of your business so you spent the writing while staring up at the moon, the silver light invading your room as you wallowed in the dark pits of your mind.
Tumblr media
As he came back from his night out, he tried to sneak, not too sneakily into your room. As he stood before your sliding door, he could hear your muffled sniffles and cries. Acting completely on impulse, Hideyoshi slid the door open, rushing to you, the fear of anything bad befalling you crushing his heart. As he kneeled before you, your cheeks were tinted in a deep shade of red, your eyes puffy as you sobbed helpless. In his drunken state, his eyes darted everywhere to check if you could possibly be injured, but there was no sign of anything.
Even as you protested meekly, Hideyoshi pulled you into his arms, holding your waist tightly and one of his arms around your shoulder, keeping you safe and secure in his embrace, letting your tears dampen his kimono while he caressed your hair softly with one hand, and the other rubbing soothing circles on the small of your back.
“It’s okay if you do not want to tell me what is on your mind. But do you mind if I say a few things myself? Yes? Okay, good. Well… I wanted to let you know that I’m happy that it was you that came from the future and not another young man or woman. I am pleased that a bright woman such as yourself made her way back through time to be with me… I mean with us, in Azuchi. You’re talented and you learn things quickly… only when you put your mind to it, obviously.” That earns a small laugh from both of you. “But I want you to promise me something. Please. If you ever feel like this again, and you wouldn’t mind me being around you… Call for me. Light a candle and place it in front of your door and I’ll be here with you in a heartbeat.”
Whenever you did light a candle, he came through with his promise. He only spoke if you wanted him to, he listened to your rambling, wiping the tears trickling down your cheeks and kissing your temples whenever he felt the need to say something but held himself back. He didn’t like to see you say such self-depreciative things but he wanted to let you know, through his actions, that he was prepared to shoulder all your burdens with you and wash away all those insecurities, if you would let him, showering with words of comfort that were only based on true facts and hints of how he truly felt about you.
After that night, he never lets himself drink and be around you when he does. Especially after sneaking into your room, he wasn’t sure what he was capable of or what he would do in an intoxicated state. He made it a rule and let all the warlords know that if he’s drinking, he’s staying with one of them.
He would scold you for staying up so late at night but he secretly liked to see you actually enjoying yourself. He would sometimes invite himself in your room and ask you about the things that you drew and what you enjoyed writing, his eyes narrowing with avid interest and curiosity to learn more about your time. He knew the right questions to ask you in order to unlock the “rambling” button in you and the warlord would be so pleased to be able to get you to speak to him so openly, looking so animated with excitement brimming from your voice. At that point, he no longer exuded this air of distrust, especially after seeing that you truly knew nothing about the Sengoku Era.
He often ended up falling asleep while hanging with you. It was easy to find yourself admiring his masculine beauty. His expression was so soft and vulnerable, without the usual crease between his brows caused by his constant micromanaging. His schedule was crazy busy but he still managed to find the time to hangout with you, pick you up and drop you off from each lesson of the day. It only made sense that he would be so exhausted. If he didn’t take good care of himself, you would at least try to do so, repay him for his kindness but also, try to make his life easier. Somehow.
During one of your late-night chats, you both got pretty hungry and decided to treat yourself to something. What exactly? Well… messing around the kitchen with Hideyoshi was so much fun but neither of you were good enough cooks to make anything that could be more than just… edible. Masamune would have a heart-attack if he saw what you were doing but thanking the heavens, he wasn’t around. Hideyoshi got intimately acquainted with your peculiar taste in food on that fateful night, blinking through tears as he tried to eat the odd creation that you had both made. At first, he thought he would be appalled but after a few bites taken out of courtesy to you,  he actually started to like it. Thus, the beginning of “Kame and Yoshi” late-night cook-offs to come.
The more you got used to each other, the more you teased one another. You weren’t entirely sure if you should call him “Hide” or “Yoshi” but you noticed how he would get boyishly flustered when you called him “Yoshi”, it just stuck and became your thing. It wasn’t necessarily a nickname given out of affection (or that was what you told yourself) but more of an expression of a blooming friendship. On another hand, he absolutely loved trying to find ways to make you blush, your cheeks reminding him of apples and, truth be told: he wanted to playfully bite them so much.
One day, you completely lost your shit on Hideyoshi for asking the maids to arrange your room since it was a complete mess. Little did you know, Hideyoshi had informed them maids to clean the entire castle spotless, but admittedly forgot to tell them to stay away from yours, fully knowing how you did not like anyone touching your things. He didn’t say anything to defend himself, standing completely silent and absorbing the frustration that radiated from you with the grace that he was known for. You refused to talk to him after that or even look at him. It was an invasion of your privacy and Hideyoshi believed that you had all the right to feel the way you did.
Wanting to be as far away from his castle as possible, you hiked your way up a hill to find some peace in the loneliness that nature had to offer. You spent a few hours just drawing/writing, letting off some of the pent up steam. It was much needed since you were able to clear your thoughts while breathing some fresh air. Looking at the broad horizons before you, you couldn’t help but think of the light brunet who made you feel so frustrated yet did everything possible to make you happy. Something in the back of your mind told you that it was all because he wanted you out of Azuchi and this era. But you were gravely mistaken.
Relying on your non-Sengoku era street-smart ability was not the wisest move. You had no idea where you were even though your surroundings were very familiar. After going in circles for what seemed like hours (40 minutes), you did manage to find your way back to Azuchi just in the nick of time! Being true to yourself, you know you had a lesson with the Devil King for some horse-back riding, still wondering why he even bothered spending time with you.
Who was the one waiting for you at the stables? None other than the handsome man that you were avoiding. His head was lowered in apology and he begged you to let him make it up to you. And he did, big time! You rode to a nearby village that was around 45 minutes away and they were holding a festival! There were fireworks, food stands and game booths and you ate almost everything that caught your eye, competitively played against Yoshi in most games before you saw the light of dawn appear. Have you been out for so long? Your pleasant outing ended yet again, with another chase of the sun.
You didn’t necessarily apologize for your behaviour the next day but he heard the maids whispering about you spending all night trying to make food, stuff that they didn’t even understand and his heart did melt at the thought. You were fussy about it and not having the same materials of the future, making the process much harder for you. Your go-to place to relax was on the top of that same hill where you had been sulking. He obviously tried to look for you and found you there, just watching the sunset. He smiled softly at you and you raised a brow at him with an unspoken “what’s up with you? what do you want?” But he said nothing, just sitting by your side, enjoying just being near. And you did the same.
The more time, you go out to the city where he is supposed to be spending time with you, you get a bit flustered as to how every single person in town is trying to steal his attention from you. Various scenarios would occur but you would mainly stop even following him and go your separate way. Why did you even do that when the voice in your head told you that you wanted to be near him? (smh) Being the gentleman that he is, he’ll come find you and hold your hand, frowning at you. “What do you think you’re doing? If you’re planning on running away from me, then I guess I’ll have to find a way to keep you by my side.” He squeezed your hand, the top of his cheekbones blushing slightly as he pulled you closer to him, whisking your way through the alleys to wherever the sun would take you.
Being so close to him... felt natural.
One night before Hideyoshi had to travel, under Nobu’s orders, you and the warlord rode your steeds to a nearby river where you had a small picnic and spent the night stargazing. As you rambled on and on about what you knew of the stars and constellations, he gently pressed a finger to your lips. “I’m going to Kyoto at dawn. Things might get bad but I’m going to make sure that everything will be under control. I don’t want you to worry. Just wait for me and… as long as you are, I’ll be okay. Now.. Please... no word of this. Tell me more…”
His voice sounded as empty and lonely as you felt when he was away. Only 2 days had passed and you felt like something was missing. You went on with your day as if nothing was different yet the stinging feeling in your heart told you otherwise. Who were you lying to?
6 days later: He was finally coming home!!
You didn’t even realize that you laughed as a few tears fell the moment you saw Hideyoshi when he came back from whatever skirmish he was dealing with. Cuts, bruises and bandages everywhere. He even needed a few soldiers to carry him since he could barely move on his own! The words escaped your mouth without even knowing before you turned your back on him and rushed to the castle to prepare his room for him.
You said something along the lines of (it was all so blurry so you weren’t even sure anymore): “Are you dense? I literally just had to hear about what you’ve done and that’s absolutely not acceptable. You’re always keeping your eyes on me and you don’t think you owe me just a small heads-up about your own buffoonery?”
You glared at Nobunaga and basically hissed at him. “This is all your fault. I was going to lose him because of you!”(little did you know, your small outburst made Nobunaga happy, especially after seeing the look on his right hand’s face.)
When he finally settled in and was laying on his futon, you kneeled beside him and brushed his hair away from his face, locking your eyes with his golden ones, a serious and intense look painted over your features.
You: You look like shit, Yoshi. I knew you were going to do some reckless shit. I was hoping you’d prove me wrong but here you are.
Hideyoshi: Watch that mouth, young lady.
You: You think you’re in a position to chastise me, Yoshi? You stopped giving me lessons days ago.
Hideyoshi: That doesn’t mean that you’ve learned your lesson, Kame.
You: Those are big words for a man that can barely lift himself off his futon. So much for promising to go chase the sun when you got back.
Hideyoshi: Hngh… I feel bad enough about that. I’ll make it up to you but please, do not tease me.
You: Mhm… what are you going to do if I don’t, Yoshi?
Hideyoshi: I did have something in mind… Come here.
Gently cradling the side of your face with one hand, his thumb softly rubbed over your rosy cheek as he groaned while lifting himself from the futon, a soft smile gracing his lips as you met him halfway in a tender kiss, filled with so much love and reverence. As you broke the kiss and tried to look away, he snaked his hand to your nape, threading his fingers through your hair and pulling you back to him as his back hit the floor, joyful sighs filling the silence of his room as you both finally allowed the love between you to flow freely.
Tumblr media
Hideyoshi can get so uptight about things, nobody even bothers to question him because he’s a stubborn mother hen and once he puts his mind to something there is no changing his mind. Except when it came to you, so the other warlords would often try to get their way with things by attempting to use you against your lover. Unfortunately for them, you were a mischievous minx and instead of helping them, you made things worse by making it known to Hideyoshi, in one way or another what their true intentions were. Masamune loved you for your playful nature and Mitsuhide thought that your skills could be put to better use (don’t tell Hideyoshi or he’ll literally lose his mind).
He will say “I love you” as many times as he needs to for you to believe him. He’s the type of man that would say it in the morning and before going to sleep, even if you were having an argument, he always wanted you to remember that he did. Considering that he could die in the battlefield any day, he wanted to make sure that he had absolutely no regrets when it came to you. He would express his love to you in his gestures, with his actions and wait patiently for you to say the same to him, only when you want. He feels it in the way you tease him, the way you touch him.
His kisses are usually tender and soft like a light summer breeze eliciting the faintest shivers in your body. He usually would cradle your face and trace your cheeks or the column of your neck, a pleasant tingling sensation tickling your skin as he poured all his devotion for you in the soft whispers of his lips against yours. When things tend to get a bit more heated between you, he lets his hands roam to hold the small of your back and press your against him, his tongue licking between your lips, coaxing you to open up for him (always the gentleman, he needs to get some sort of permission from you before doing anything, out of fear of overstepping or upsetting you).
He would often pray to the heavens that you’re tall enough so that he doesn’t have to lean too much to meet your lips. His other hand would either be at your nape or the back of your head, fingers through your hair, the heat of passion taking over him and the taste of you is so irresistible, he doesn’t want to give you the chance to break the kiss.
He didn’t even blink an eye when you both sat before the Devil King to tell him that your challenge was off. Whether you won or lost, it didn’t really matter. Hideyoshi was the only man you could ever be with and the prospect of even possibly marrying another was not acceptable. Not for you or for Hideyoshi. Nobunaga simply stared at the both of you, seeing how Yoshi sat there, unwavering before his Lord, unaffected by the possible severity of the situation if things were to go south.
He respects your time and your own space, fully trusting you now that you were knowledgeable enough to know the do and don'ts of the Sengoku Era. He just urges you,.. no, begs you not to stay out late at night unless he, the warlords or any of his retainers are with you. Azuchi was a safe city but there were still ruffians lurking in the night. He didn’t want to take a chance when it came to you.
He gets way too flustered at any public display of affection but he’s a man that gets easily jealous so he likes to make sure that everyone knows that you’re taken. He would usually just walk around while holding your hand, linking your fingers together or with an arm around your shoulders, kissing your temple or your crown.
He loves sporting the love bites you’ve marked on his skin and doesn’t even try to hide them, even if you both get teased about them, your lover just beaming with happiness and pride. Whenever he feels like your hands are too cold, he would pull you into a bear hug and let you wrap your arm around his waist, under his kimono, so that his body heat and the fabric could help you warm up a bit better.
If you ever thought of pressing a kiss to his neck (which you’ve obviously done before), your lover would chew on his lip out of embarrassment while his cheeks turned into cherry tomatoes. He would obviously try to mask his shyness with a mock angry tone as he calls your name in admonishment. Looking into your eyes, he saw that glint of mirth in you and that beautiful smirk that he would very gladly wipe off once you returned to the castle.
Little gestures he does to express his affection for you and things he loves: he loves brushing your hair and smelling it, he loves biting your cheek playfully whenever you blush. Whenever you’re chilling with him and he starts teasing you, you bite him and he chuckles. He actually loves it when you do.
He absolutely loves sleeping next to you. Period. But especially having you koala-cuddle him because he’s your human heater. Knowing how cold you are by nature, he asked you to light a candle to place it in front of your door (just like when you are feeling down), so that you can both cuddle and sleep together. He doesn’t like to be intrusive and invite himself into your bed, although he does, on occasion because a relationship goes both ways and it would be wrong just to rely on you to initiate things. The most important thing was consent. As long as he had that, nothing else mattered.
Oh boy, if he wakes up with morning wood, Yoshi gets flustered as hell, especially if you’re awake. He’d excuse himself with the most boyish and embarrassed chuckle and rush out of your room or to his bathroom (depending on where you were both sleeping). If you were lucky enough to be in his room, you would hear a symphony of unadulterated moans and muffled grunts that only made you wonder what the future held for you when you became even more intimate with one another.
Sometimes, when you’re lying beneath him, and let him shower you with kisses and love bites, he worships you as he is completely devoted to you, whispers against your skin, over and over again.
“I want to make you mine, I want you to be mine, I want to claim you and let everyone know that you have chosen me to be your lover, to be your partner, to be the one you share everything with. As much as I would’ve hated to admit it before, I don’t feel an ounce of remorse for what I have discovered in you. I love you… You are my everything and nobody could ever change that. Whether you decide to stay in Azuchi or return to your time…  I’ll always be with you. Take me with you.”

Collar X Malice: Unlimited Part 1 - Enomoto Mineo Route
Tumblr media
Okay, so I thought Collar X Malice Unlimited was a fandisc sequel but it seems more like an alternate world/possibility or kinda both I guess lol. Not sure if I really care for the new character called Tachibana, but anyway I'm doing Enomoto's route first and I'm so happy already~ I love how quickly and easily he deflected every attempt of Tachibana's to like touch or do anything to Ichika, like geez this guy lol. Anyway Mineo after story!! So I guess it is a sequel hahaha, I guess they just kinda changed a bit of things to fit some other stuff? Anyway, Mineo without his eyepatch is something I'll need to get used to hahaha. Lmaooo when he said that his ikemen powers will go up now after unlocking the seal on his right eye😂😂😂 Aww I love how Ichika told him that him with and without the eyepatch both had their own appeals, and then I died when he called her a heart thief for saying something sweet like that🤣🤣
Tumblr media
HAHAHA when Mineo tried to convince Ichika that he needs to live near her just in case she needs help with anything, and his example was if Kazuki wasn't home and she needed to open a jar of jam😂😂😂😂 Mineo is so hilarious, he'll always be the death of me🥲🥲 Okay, Super Mineoman is the hero I never knew I needed, he's so adorable🤣🤣 I loveee how Soma Saito voices Mineo, like omggg LOL when he said her love is priceless and said priceless in English😂
Tumblr media
I find it so cute and sweet how at home Mineo is with everyone in his team. Lmaoo when they ate his lunchbox because he kept bragging about how Ichika lovingly made it all for him🤣 Awww I love how Ichika fed him! Lmao when he kept talking about indirect kisses and she had to tell him to shut up and just eat the hamburger steak🤣 I loveee how Kazuki asks about how Ichika is doing now, especially considering the new "Adonis" crime. What I love the most though is that Kazuki and Mineo are friendly enough to cook together for the exhausted Ichika! Honestly, if I had to take all those phone calls at SCRPO, I think I would either want to die or kill someone loll. Mineo remembering how Ichika cooking him food when he was down making him cheer up, and then now doing the same for her was so cute. Seeing him so lovingly prepare the food was just so sweet~ And omggg, I love how caring Mineo is towards Kazuki as well. It was one of the things that made me love Mineo more than all the other guys, since I feel like they put in a lot of effort to show how much Mineo cares about Kazuki as well, and how much he embraces their family. I love how honest Kazuki was about thanking him for supporting him when he found out about Akito. Anyway, Mineo and Kazuki made a full course meal in the morning?! Danggg, I'm impressed too, they even made pudding. I was so happy when Mineo flicked Ichika's forehead and told her to not bottle up her feelings inside all the time and to tell him like she is now. She always doesn't want to burden others and that's definitely a bad habit! Okay, I was still laughing at how Mineo was saying he should turn himself in for making her forehead red from the flick, and then he kissed her forehead to make the pain go away!! I nearly died, that was so cute. Lmao at Mineo's birthday being called eggplant day because it's Tokugawa Ieyasu's death anniversary and he apparently loved eggplants lol. Ichika brainstorming ideas for Mineo's present was so funny🤣 it would be so funny if she actually gifted him a funky eyepatch though😂
Tumblr media
Anyway, it was pretty obvious that this Someya pretended to be attacked by Adonis did it to herself and "blamed Adonis" just so her classmates could finally forgive her for her “crimes” and she could live a normal school life again, but yeah honestly, that was really naive of her, and quite ridiculous but I can sympathise to an extent since bullying is always something really terrible to experience and deal with. However, I still found her little story boring tbh lol. Okay, I usually don't care that much about kiss CGs but dang, the sudden kiss CG after their zoo date was soo hot, I loved it. Oh and lmaooo when Isshiki teased Mineo saying he didn't know who he was without his eyepatch😂😂 it's so true though hahaha. OMG, when Kazuki said Enomoto is the only guy he would call big brother, I nearly died, that's so sweet and cute of Kazuki to tell him that!!! LOL when Mineo started speaking English asking him to repeat it once more, please😂😂 Mineo is such a lovable idiot, it was so cute how Kazuki and Ichika were trying to ask him what present would he like and he kept saying them just being there for him was enough🤣 I can understand his sentiments though hahahah, honestly I feel like I would be as silly as Mineo and not notice these things🤣 On the other hand, it was kinda saddening to hear that Hana's arrest made Isshiki doubt his music and whether it was his music that caused people to misinterpret his songs etc, I'm just glad he was able to overcome that and believe and hope that his songs can one day properly reach Hana though.
Tumblr media
Awww, Ichika finally stayed over at Mineo's place but he ended up having to go to work😭 It was so cute how he was practically trying to propose to her with the Miso soup line hahahah. Omgg, the flashback to Mineo telling Mochida and Satake his and Ichika's love story to properly report to his superiors that they're dating was hilarious😂😂 So awkward for Ichika lmaoo, definitely a funny and embarrassing but good memory though loll. Mineo being so earnest about these things really makes you hope that there are people as honest and endearing as him in this world. Considering how undecided Ichika was towards Mineo's birthday present, it's amazing how thoughtfully she prepared that roll cake birthday cake with his favourite pudding as the filling! It sounds so good😭 Anyway, for a moment I really thought they would just hold hands to sleep but omgg, their first time was so cute, and I love how embarrassed they were towards each other in the morning. They're so innocent it's adorable. Lollll I can totally understand Ichika running away in embarrassment and getting mad at Mineo for blurting stuff out to make Sakuragawa realise what they did last night lmao. I'm surprised they survived not talking to each other for so long, like even if they're busy, they could at least communicate through messages! Anyway, I loved how the ending ended with Mineo asking Ichika to be his partner for life in public this time haha, the partner thing was one of my favourite scenes so seeing him do it again was sweet. It made me so happy and giddy for them hahaha. It's also nice how they met each other's families, it's kinda sad that Ichika's parents still don't seem to care for her apparently, but I'm glad Mineo's family is as wholesome as he is and as accommodating and bright. No one could be sad with their family around hahaha. I kinda like how they handled Ogata in the normal ending, it's nice to know that Mineo's sincerity really got through to him.
Tumblr media
Overall, I really enjoyed Mineo's route~ It was honestly pretty short but that's okay because Mineo still makes me laugh so much, he's so funny that it brightens up my mood every time I watch him and his antics lol. I also really enjoyed seeing Ichika and Mineo be this silly happy couple that is really sweet too. But I think the biggest highlight for me is seeing how much of an effect Mineo had on Kazuki and just Kazuki and Ichika's relationship in general. I always loved how Mineo helped Ichika communicate with Kazuki better, so I just love how Kazuki treats Mineo like family now, and it doesn't feel awkward at all with how they all are. Seeing Kazuki appreciate Mineo for the guy he is made me really happy for them haha. Definitely an enjoyable after story and Mineo definitely has the same happy vibe and sincerity as his original route, and the ending was so cute~

Level 36
You were spending way too much time at the convenience store near your house. For whatever reason, Masamune's seemingly endless jokes made it easier to ignore the pit you had in your stomach. Sure, there was probably a better way to handle whatever that situation with Ieyasu had been, but now that you had been avoiding him this long, it almost felt like you couldn't say anything. Taking a deep breath, you decided on a bag of chips you'd yet to try and turned to head to the register, only to yell out in fright.
"Would you stop doing that!" You relaxed when you realized it was just Masamune.
"Nah, it's fun to watch you jump." The man chuckled and patted you on the shoulder. "Got any plans for dinner Friday?"
"Uh, no?" You looked at him skeptically as you shifted your weight, so the things you were holding sat more comfortably in your arms.
"Cool, stop by, and I'll feed you." Without going any further, Masamune walked off towards his register.
"What's the occasion? You don't feel so sorry for me that you're trying to take me on a date to cheer me up, are you?" You scowled.
"Lass, do I seem like that kind of guy?" Masamune leaned over the counter.
"Yes, but also no?" You replied as you placed your snacks on the counter.
"I'm offended. Here I am trying to get you to try this new dish I've come up with, and you're questioning my character." Masamune threw a hand to his chest in mock offense.
"Fine, what's this new dish?" You asked, a little curious.
"Can't tell you. It's a surprise." Masamune smiled proudly down at you. "Just meet me here around seven, and we can go chill in a park."
"The park?" You cocked your head to the side.
"Trying to avoid giving you murdery vibes by not inviting you back to my house." Masamune jokes. "Since you've already questioned my character once tonight."
"I hate to break it to you, but a nighttime picnic in the park has equal amounts of murdery vibes as going to an acquaintance's house for dinner." You barked out a laugh.
"Acquaintance!? And here I thought we were good friends, but I guess you're right. Still, I wanna eat by the reservoir, though." Masamune smiled brightly as he handed you your change.
"Sounds good to me. See you Friday then, friend." You gave a little wave before heading home for the rest of the evening.
That's how you ended up staring at your closet, wondering how much effort you had to put into your outfit tonight. It was technically a picnic, but Masamune had said it was just a casual thing. You knew better than to show up in your work scrubs for multiple reasons, but you were torn between comfort and looking halfway decent. In the end, you decided on a loose pair of jeans, so your legs didn't get itchy in the grass and your favorite hoodie before walking towards the store.
When you arrived at the convenience store, Masamune was already standing outside, dressed nearly identical to you, with a picnic basket in hand.
"Hey there!" You gave a wave and jogged in his direction, "We're twins today."
"Great minds think alike. You all ready to go?" Masamune asked.
"I think so unless there's something you think I'll need." You quirked your eyebrow up at him.
"Nope, I've got everything we could ever want in this basket." Masamune lifted it, so it was right at your eye level.
"Oh? That's a pretty magical picnic basket." You snickered as you tried to grab for the latch.
"Hey, I think not." Masamune pouted as he snatched it away from your hands. "What do you not get about the word surprise?"
"Technically, if you showed it to me now, I'd still be surprised." You countered him.
"Yes, just not at the right moment. Life's all about those little moments, Lass." Masamune scolded you.
"If you say so."
"I do." Masamune encouraged me.
After that, the two of you walked up the hill towards the park in comfortable silence. You had to admit it was a nice night for a picnic, not a cloud in the sky, a gentle breeze, the temperature wasn't too hot or too cold. With a smile on your face, you helped Masamune unfold and lay down the blanket in the spot near the reservoir he had picked.
"It really is nice. Do you come up here often at night?" You wondered aloud as you took a seat.
"Eh, it depends on my mood." Masamune shrugged. "Today's too perfect to pass up, though."
"That's true. I like the way the stars reflect off the water." You admitted.
"I thought you might." Masamune gave you a wide-toothed grin. "Alright, Lass, close your eyes. No peeking."
"I thought you were trying to avoid murdery vibes tonight?" You chuckled as you did as Masamune told you.
"I am. I almost gave you a blindfold but thought better of it." Masamune snickered.
There was a shuffling noise, and you assumed it was Masamune pulling the food out of his magical basket. The familiar sound of bento boxes unclipping and the smell of something savory made you smile. You were excited; this was exciting. If Masamune was as good with actual food flavors as he was at mixing exotic chips and soda's this mean was bound to be a fabulous one.
"Alright, Lass, you can open your eyes now. Your excitement soon turned to mild horror and anxiety when you realized what was going on. This was a setup, and the one person you least expected was sitting directly across from you. When your eyes met his green ones, you saw him flush and look away.
"Told you, the basket is magic. You kids have fun!" Masamune shouted as he ran back down the hill. He was leaving you alone in the park with Ieyasu.
