Hahaha, I mean, I totally get what they're saying, and they're not wrong exactly, but I'd probably say it's more to do with the fact that's not ocker.

#nobody wants to hear me go into the intricacies of australian masculinity / machismo haha #but he does read slightly unconventional in that he's not the ocker bloke / aussie larrikin #like i would say his accent is pretty posh too #but as i've said before that could be a result of being classically trained actor like a lot of them develop that sort of elocution #i was talking to someone at the theatre i work at ages ago about how there's like a version of the australian accent that actors use #a bit like how there was the mid-atlantic accent american actors used in the 1920s through 1940s #and he definitely uses it #so i don't know how much of it is natural or how much of it is learned #iwtv cast asks #welcome to my ama #sam asks #trying to get better at actually tagging things for admin purposes again haha
